the long way down job is such an important turning point in eliot & parker’s relationship bc they’d both been viewing the things they have in common as fairly negative: they’ve both been told that they’re cold and ruthless and dangerous and they know those things are true. so when they’ve recognised themselves in each other, it’s been a sense of "the thing that’s wrong with me is a lot like the thing that’s wrong with you". and there’s comfort in that, in a way. but now eliot gets parker to see that maybe those aren’t all negative traits, they’re just… traits. neutral. it doesn’t make them bad or good, it makes them who they are. and now when they see themselves reflected in each other, it’s not a reminder that they’re wrong and bad - it’s kinship, it’s familiarity, it’s belonging.

spencer reid would never (in my opinion) be the kind of boyfriend where you have full access to his clothes

he's far too much of a hyper-focused micromanager to be able to just share his clothes with you freely, he likes to know what is where (even if his wardrobe is seemingly absolutely unorganized, he has a system!!!)

instead though, he often makes 'donations' to your collection - a pair of patterned socks, a knitted scarf, a skinny tie - after you expressed how much you miss him when he's away on cases

pieces that belong to you now, but still have a touch of spencer in them, enough for you to see them and feel the same swell of affection that bubbles up in your heart when you see him

and, he can't lie, it sends a thrill down his spine when he comes to pick you up from your office and sees you wearing his sweater vest over your button up

Nobody portrays childhood like Psych. They make the kids actually act like kids, not super sweet or a brat or some kind of golden child

Shawn and Gus dug a hole in the backyard trying to find oil. They created a dummy and threw him off the roof in an attempt to learn how to parachute. They tried to drive Henry's car. Shawn skipped days and didn't do his homework. Shawn wanted to ride a dolphin.
