The first episode really wanted us to think that Zi Xiang would hire a sex worker to fulfill his needs because it would be on brand for this "nepo baby" to get what he wants however he wants it.

But he wants someone to notice him for him, not who is family is. He wants affection since clearly his family never had time to care about him.

(Also, casting these two as brothers was genius)
