Donna and Dick being best friends is so heartwarming and lovely etc etc but do you ever think about how much anxiety Donna might feel being so close to Dick Grayson, Thee Performer?

She is made of other people's memories of her, an embodiment of perceptions and then she looks at Dick- someone not just misunderstood but largely unencapsulated by most. He's got depths that nobody finds, that nobody (except like 3.5 people) knows even exist! Does she wonder if she was ever like that? Does she call him Wonder Twin and then wonder if she was like him once but nobody realized and she's been flattened to this half-realised portrait?

Does she look at Dick's secrecy and grieve that lost dimension of herself? Or does she see the loneliness of his charade, the weight of balancing on a pedestal he doesn't believe he deserves... and she wishes for him the gift of being exactly what everyone believes you to be?

actually the reveal that there was no timeskip at all is hysterical. milchick really spent that whole weekend going all over town firing people, hiring people, putting together insane fruit baskets, and serving cunt in his motorcycle helmet. then at the orders of the board he had to very quickly fire the people he hired, rehire the people he fired, commission an oil painting for the severed floor lobby, redecorate the break room, and put together an award-winning claymation corporate apology video designed to showcase the new innie perks and reforms that don't exist as well as that one time helena eagan's innie sucked face with the innie whose outie his ex-boss is obsessed with. where is HIS waffle party

just saw a severance post where the OP was pointing out whether they thought that the innie or the outie version of a character was better and I absolutely cannot understand missing the point so completely entirely,,,,,,,,,,

And then I scrolled further through the tag and just kept finding more and more examples, especially of Helly! So many people absolutely detested Outie Helly (which I absolutely don't personally get but fair enough), while lauding Innie Helly.
