I don't have many fears, but a big one for me is the fear that a large streamer or youtuber plays Disco Elysium and introduces it to people with no reading comprehension skills.

#like okay. on one hand #i love this game so so dearly #and i absolutely adore others getting into the game that completely changed my life #but i already have to deal with awful takes from people on reddit #like people STILL say that disco elysium is “anti-communist” because it pokes fun #like. are u crazy. nuts? out of your mind?#on the otherhand i LOVE LOVE LOVE smaller streamers playing disco elysium #it brings me so much joy seeing people experience it for the first time and be blown away #so there are two wolves inside me.#one that wishes to share this game with everyone i can knowing it can positively change so many peoples life and viewpoints #the other that is terrified of mischaracterization becoming rampent and it's complex themes being misunderstood #anyway! time to watch that therapist play disco elysium for the time!#disco elysium

Been thinking about Ford watching the 70s Animated Lord of the Rings Movies... (companion comic to this post!)

#the other two VHS tapes Fidd's is holding are Rankin-Bass' The Hobbit (1977) and Return of the King (1980)! The 70s animated pseudo-trilogy!#A lot of people pointed out on my other lotr 'crossover' post that Ford would have seen the 70s movies!#And i wont lie i entirely forgot they existed. But now i remember i have so many feelings on it okay. Ford my silly LOTR nerd #I dont think he would have seen Bashkis in theaters. far as I can tell it was a VERY limited (likely mostly CA) run in the middle of winter #but Rankin-Bass'? Aired on NBC & ABC. He absolutely woulda watched them or rented a VHS later. Which is why he's most excited by Bashki's #He's just such a nerd. I need him to nerd out. But also lowkey angst on how his single focus on bill/the portal lead #him to neglecting even the small things in life. #MY ART #I SPENT FOREVER ON THIS #persona 3 #persona 3 reload #makoto yuki #okay so while it is super iconic I didn't want to draw someone with a gun to their head (love it in P3 love the symbolism #just dont want to explain it all to my mum or have non persona fans see it at my booth at comic con)#so I was forced to get creative #I hope this comes across #but I wanted to imply he just shot that bullet hole into the background that makes thanatos' eye #the bullet hole also sort of looks like a big glint of than's eye #those white parts on the white are than's hand curling around the MC #and I tried to make the colour scheme CYMK to symbolise how the MC is the wildcard #he is the blueprint and can make anything.#a lot of thought and effort went into this one. persona 3 baby!! hope you like it
