Honestly I think people are just determined to read things a particular way and aren't willing to be graceful or patient with characters engaging in... normal human behavior. I also think there's a tendency in online spaces to want to polarize things into either "red flag or green flag." The Pit Babe official account made this post today that I thought was really interesting

"Because the flags in a relationship aren't just red or green." Like no one here is exhibiting "warning signs" of abusive behavior. They're just being people trying to figure things out, and that takes time. We don't need to be focused on assigning blame or labeling a relationship as toxic or unhealthy especially when it's between two consenting adults who have their own lives and aren't trying to control or hurt each other 😭 God forbid they have emotions about something and not be able to immediately have the "correct" response

And I think people also assume that being together for a year means they've been actively working on communication for that whole time? Like "yes it takes time but they've had time." But couples only learn how to work through their problems when problems actually come up. I think we can assume, based on the fact that the show skipped ahead this far, that there wasn't much going on offscreen between seasons, and things were easy sailing for both AlanJeff and CharlieBabe. But now there's things happening and actual conflict that they have to deal with.

I think it's much better to show this kind of development of their communication onscreen than to just have skipped it all between seasons like "well it's been a year and they're different people now."

Especially because Charlie and Babe did actually talk about stuff! I wonder if Charlie verbalizing to Jeff the way he and Babe solve their problems made him think "well maybe if this is bad advice for Jeff then it's bad advice for me."

Anyways yeah it is best to just block ppl rather than try and wait for them to interpret things the same way. My trip through the tag today was mostly blessedly fun, though I did block a couple extra people who just seem intent on interpreting things in bad faith.

I went off a bit, but I was personally really happy with CharlieBabe in this episode, and also I ate up the AlanJeff angst. I'm sure those two will figure it out soon, but Jeff has got to stop trying to pretend like he's fine all the time because the amount of smiling he was doing this season had me weirded out, like that's not my grumpy little man from season 1. If I was Alan I would absolutely need time to reprocess all of their recent interactions under the lens that Jeff wasn't being forthright about what he was going through.

I just think it's important to be able to witness couples having problems and going through the growing pains of learning how to be vulnerable with each other over and over and over again.

Oh, you know he’s smug about it. He was kind of averse to the idea of even getting too close at first, thinking Riddle’s younger sister surely would be a rule freak like Riddle himself is, not really someone he’d want to associate with…

But, who would’ve guessed, you two turned out to get along just fine. You seem to appreciate his humor, and Ace appreciates that in return. ”Y’know, I thought you’d be all uptight like your big brother. I guess that gene skipped you, huh?” He jokes one day, and he just keeps on doing his thing, whether he’s under Riddle’s scrutiny or not. What’s he gonna do about it anyway? He’s not breaking any rules by just hanging out with his sister, is he now?

His attitude honestly doesn’t change that much when you two get more serious. He’s totally unsurprised to learn that Riddle wasn’t really that thrilled by you dating a troublemaker like him. Of course he treats you well, but it’s the same sort of treatment you’d get even if you had never heard of Riddle Rosehearts in your life. Maybe he’s a little more generous with gifts, especially snacks, knowing your mother doesn’t let you have them at home. But that’s as “different” as it’ll get.

Whenever you two are spending time together and Riddle is also around, he makes sure to be in his very best behavior just to spite him. It doesn’t always work, if only because of the sheer amount of rules that Riddle remembers summed up to his now actual desire to humble Ace is definitely… a force to be reckoned with. But, well, so is Ace. Riddle never gets his way when that happens either, because Ace is just cackling away when Riddle slaps that collar on him for the third time this week.

Part of his desperate attempts to become a “true honors student” includes properly introducing himself to any new people he meets, which means asking for their full name and giving his in return. He’s decided he must redouble his efforts to be cautious and polite around you as soon as he heard you say Rosehearts right after your first name. He ends up nervously asking, ”Oh. Rosehearts, like… our dorm leader?” and you confirm you’re Riddle’s younger sister. That just confirms his own thought process to him.

Deuce is honestly genuinely scared. Not of you, of course! Over time he finds that he really enjoys talking to you, your conversations flowing easily. Deuce is surprised he could even have so much fun with another person, even though he has and has plenty of fun with other friends— It’s just that the knowledge you’re Riddle’s sister… never really leaves the background of his thoughts.

He knows Riddle didn’t get the best impression of him, and he doesn’t necessarily regret his own actions from that time. Now though, that he’s starting to really notice his crush on you, and he wants to ask you out properly— Would it really be right to do that when he’s in bad terms with your family? Deuce is conflicted. It’s not a thing of believing you need Riddle’s permission to date him or anything, he’d just feel… kind of bad, knowing his girlfriend’s brother thinks of him as some unserious delinquent. He wants it to be known that he only wants the absolute best for you!

So… he tries. Like Ace, he’s in his very best behavior whenever there’s a chance Riddle might be around, with about the same success rate. Except he really apologizes profusely every time he learns he’s breaking a rule, promising he’ll remember it in the future — He probably won’t, but the same is true for any other normal person, really — in a way that honestly surprises Riddle sometimes? As much as your brother will always be at least a little bit distrustful of any guy that comes close to you, in some situations, even he can’t do anything but admit that yeah, Deuce is nothing if not dedicated to that “mission” of his.

Leona was basically his idol for so long, you know he’s kept up with what little media appearances he had. Nothing crazy, anything more than just watching the few interviews he’s given or the broadcasted Magift games just gets into celebrity gossip territory, and Jack doesn’t like that— But basically, he’s watched just about enough to see you on a screen, and yeah, he always thought you were really pretty, but that was all there was to it for a long time.

He did get… pretty disappointed with Leona when he met him, yeah, but he doesn’t let it affect how he views you. You’re his sister, not an extension of his person, it’d be silly to make assumptions like that. Jack is as polite to you as he is to everyone else, and he’s pleased to discover you’ve got a good head on your shoulders. That it’s actually really fun to talk to you, even though he usually doesn’t like talking to people much.

When you actually get together, Jack starts to get pretty nervous. He’s serious about dating, as we all know. If he’s asked you out, it’s because he really wants to be with you. And that means family gets involved. He’s more than happy to introduce you to his, but yours, well— He’s never thought he’d struggle with a significant other’s family, but you’re a literal princess…

It’s not at all about Leona though. None of Jack’s hesitations over your relationship have anything to do with him, really. In fact, telling Leona that you two are together is something he sees as a sort of “practice session” for the day he meets your entire family, and Leona is just fine with it. You’re clearly happy, and he has no intentions of smothering you, especially when you’re dating Jack Howl out of all people— He knows the guy literally wouldn’t even dream of trying anything funny.

Epel is out of the loop, even if he’s seen Vil on the TV screen back home, he never used social media enough to fully grasp how much of an influence he had over anyone. And you’re so insanely pretty, so much more than any girl he’s ever met, he ends up blurting out a ”Wow, if I didn’t know you better, I would’ve guessed you and Vil-san are related!”

…So that’s how he realizes the situation he’s gotten into, not too long after you two start talking, and his crush on you begins to take shape. And he’s intimidated, yeah. Anyone would be. But at the same time… Epel couldn’t bring himself to lie about how proud of himself he feels. Like this is just insane to him. He hears more and more about how famous and important Vil is every day, and you, his younger sister, decided to hang out with him out of all people? Wow. He feels so important now.

But, as much as his unease grows as you two get closer, he’s not about to let it stop him. He knows he’s not experienced or anything like that, but if he’s going to be your boyfriend, Epel’s top priority is making sure you get treated right. He’ll still be opening doors for you even months into your relationship. Hell, he’ll even make a good effort at learning all the fancy dining etiquette he hates, so he can have a proper introduction dinner with your family.

Epel figures that, even if Vil was pretty protective, he couldn’t scoff at him for… doing his best to be a good boyfriend to you, could he? He’s heard you mention how picky Vil is with the boys you talk to, most of his issue is when they’re not trying hard enough. That doesn’t apply to him, he’s determined to make it so that it never does too— And he wins on that front. Vil sees how happy you are and how well he treats you. He can’t complain about Epel. It still surprises him sometimes.

Honestly, he’s scared to do as much as touch a single hair on your head. You’re literally Malleus’ sister. His crush is not recent at all, the two of you having met long before Sebek even considered attending NRC— And Sebek himself having, at some point, quietly decided that he should content himself with a life of (not so) silent, distant pining…

…Meanwhile, you most likely think of him as just a kind longtime acquaintance. A real oddball, for sure, but he’s never been anything but kind to you. Maybe you even see him as a sort of friend. When you both were younger you really didn’t get to meet a lot of people your age, but Sebek was often there, and he always listened to what you had to say— Even though he’d often blurt out lines like ”M-My Lady, I’m simply your family’s servant, we must both keep that in mind…!”

Because of this specific dynamic between the two of you, you’ll… pretty much have to make most of the first moves. And Sebek is receptive to them, despite all his claims that you two shouldn’t get “too” close at all. It’s a little endearing, how flustered he gets over pretty much everything— Eventually, though, he tells himself he has to get it together, it’s clear that you wanted a relationship with him, and he knows very well he wants a relationship with you. As much as it goes against… nothing but his own mentally edited version of the rules related to his position, as soon as he decides to get serious with you, he gets really serious.

As for Malleus’ opinion on the whole thing… well. It’s Sebek. Malleus would usually be very, very protective over his beloved younger sister’s chosen partners but, he knows Sebek. He knows him maybe even better than he wants to— And he knows, even before he sees him insisting to carry your schoolbag while you’re on your way to class together, that he wouldn’t dare to offer you anything less than his very best efforts. Malleus is a little surprised that he actually managed to get over that sort of idol worship thing he had towards your family to the point that he asked you out, but he’s pleased. You definitely have his blessing. And bonus points for keeping Sebek too busy to be as neurotic over him as he usually is, Malleus does appreciate the extra quiet time.

-> once we're get to the finish line, i lay on the floor, exhausted. my eyes try to find the short haired girl. i stare as i see her bent over, trying to catch her breath.

and all the guys are also there. even gi-hun, jung-bae and in-ho, warning her every step of the way, as me and jun-hee chuckle. and se-mi starts loving them too, because she's sure she won't be able to get rid of them (she tried!)

with our poor relationship with our father, jung-bae ends up turning into more of a father figure to us, being the one supporting my brother through everything, but also being there for me everyday.

and with time (a lot of family dinners we have together) they start to soften up for her.

-> so it's not a surprise when a few years later, at our wedding, she takes a video of how our life together has been and a video of my brother and jung-bae shows up.

"are you- are you asking us for our blessing?" dae-ho sobs as jung-bae seems to be suppressing his tears. i can hear her laugh, although i can't see her because she was the one recording the video.

they're both crying now as they hug her.

I'm really scared. Somebody please help me. I don't know what's going on, I don't know if it's in my brain, my head/neck, or somwhere else in my body.

Go to dentist nov 12 for fillings (upper teeth), after one particular anesthetic shot (front teeth) start to feel extremely weird

start to have crazy cognitive and physical symptoms which are too many to list. Some include:

facial pain, mostly from the cheeks up, throbbing pain in eyes, nose, and roof of mouth

inability to recognize other people's faces from cheeks up (only chin looks familiar)

eyes no longer in sync, left eye seems to move more slowly and not track things right

extremely vivid almost-hallucinations. I can tell they aren't real and that they're in my head, but they're right on the verge

almost-hallucinations are visual, auditory, smell and emotion. it's sort of like a mix with flashes of a bunch of different memories and thoughts at once, it's not coherent. many different smells, images, etc. flashing through my perception too fast to keep track of. kind of like a soup of different stuff. very scary and distracting

feels like every time I have a thought or memory, it comes up correctly in my mind at first, then it mixes into the soup and I can't get it back. it just becomes part of the soup

the imagery and so on often feels like it is "coming in from the sides", like coming in from both sides of my body/FOV/etc. it's happening all the time but when it gets really intense and starts to get "closer to the middle" I start burping continuously and uncontrollably. almost feels like I'm swallowing air and burping it back up again, but it's totally outside my control. sometimes I'm burping back to back for hours

when it gets REALLY bad it makes me throw up. sometimes just into my mouth and sometimes full on projectile vomit. would say this happens about every two or three days and the frequency has been increasing.

inability to do the following correctly: sneeze, swallow, vomit, orgasm. all feel like the same weird issue. like they start but don't really finish. so e.g. when I vomit it's like the top part of my throat is not involved? it feels very weird but like the muscles are only actuating part of the way up, and it's a very odd sensation. same when I swallow, like only part of the swallowing motion happens and the food is hard to get down because of this.

my factual recall and grasp of factual information seems to be 100% fine, no delusional beliefs etc. Even though I can't visually recall my memories (because the soup of imagery gets in the way) I can easily factually recall what happened. But I can't visualize anything correctly, I just get these crazy visuals instead

feel like I am not sleeping properly. feel like when I "go to sleep" it's just more of the visuals ALL NIGHT and I don't get any rest. basically feel like I am in a half-asleep half-awake state all the time.

I've gotten an MRI, nothing abnormal. Got an EEG, it was slightly abnormal with temporal lobe "sharp waves" but no seizures. Went on seizure meds for 4 months and it had no effect on symptoms. Got another EEG when my symptoms were really acting up and EEG was normal, at that point doctor decided to take me off seizure meds since the didn't seem to be doing anything and symptoms didn't seem correlated with EEG. Seeing another neuro next week. Intuitively it feels like something is wrong in my face, throbbing pain is CONSTANT and has been resistant to all pain meds, and that maybe if it went away I could think straight. not sure though.

Feels like there is a "hole", it's hard to explain but it feels like there's this gaping hole in my mind's eye, that's blocking my from thinking correctly and causing all this shit. And I feel it on my body to, idk where but I can feel this "hole" too. Maybe some kind of fucked up nerve in my face or something? If anyone has any thoughts or could help me with any of this please let me know.

Dick learned to relax his standards for himself. Mouse isn't a vigilante, they don't have perfect grades, and they always take breaks or communicate when they simply can't or don't want to do something. Dick has started giving himself the same leniencies — he'll actually rest when he's sick instead of powering through it, he'll forgive himself for mistakes he's made, and if he simply doesn't want to do something, he won't. He's learning through Mouse to stop chasing perfectionism.

Jason picked up on Mouse's penchant for sleeping in. They like being in bed and being lazy. The world will still be there when they decide to grace the rest of the manor with their presence, so Jason adopts the same attitude. The perpetual bags under his eyes disappear in six months and his rage induced by the Pit becomes ten times more manageable. He and Mouse kickstart a mandatory Family Nap Time when it seems like everybody is running on empty.

Tim starts learning how to take things at face value. This family often has problems saying things outright, except for Mouse, who says what they mean and means what they say. If they're hungry, they're going to verbalize it. If they're disinterested in something, they're going to verbalize it. If they feel sick, they're going to verbalize it. No, Tim, they aren't actively starving to death or disinterested in a topic because they secretly hate you or seconds from dying of a plague. Please quit overanalyzing every little situation.

Damian grows a funny bone. He spent so long trying to shrug off the title of "youngest Wayne" and "baby bat" that he became almost grizzled about it. He's overly "no-nonsense" and acts more mature than he sometimes feels for the sake of being treated seriously, which costs him the leniency that comes with a normal childhood. Mouse's carefree mannerisms and easy optimism, as well as taking over the title of the baby of the family, allows Damian to let loose a little bit. Now he's more accepting of his desires to goof off and play games for the sake of having fun instead of being productive.

Alfred got the full Grandfather experience from Flittermouse. He's so used to being in a family of hyper-independent people that he didn't realize he wanted to feel needed. Because he knows that Bruce and Dick and Jason and Tim and Damian are perfectly fine without him. They don't need him to cook, or clean, or tend to their wounds, or help them with anything, really. They want him around, though, because they love him and he all of them, which is enough for him.

But a baby? Babies need to be tended to. They need attention. They need care. They need to be fed and clothed and cuddled and doted on. And Alfred didn't realize how much he missed doting on little Bruce when he was a child until he was gifted the chance to do it again with Mouse.

Hal learns how to be a parent with Mouse. He develops patience so, so quickly, because you have no choice when you're taking care of a brand new human who's never human'd before. He also secretly uses parenting tricks he's learned raising you on some of the planets he's called to oversee and communicate with diplomatically. Gentle parenting a whole race of K'inleons into avoiding war with another planet was not on his bucket list but damn was it effective. And, like Jason, he learns to stop and rest with Mouse, too. Maybe he doesn't need to pick up extra missions as a Lantern and stay up late patrolling his sector of the universe after doing a check just hours before. Maybe he can just stay on Earth and rest and be Hal.

Bruce would've picked up Mouse's easy capacity to love if they didn't already learn that from him. Bruce's one, fundamental trait is his optimism and capacity to believe in second chances. But Mouse does teach him to communicate more effectively with his loved ones. He slowly but surely gets over his fear that muttering the words "I love you" will not end in that person's death. He allows himself to display his vulnerabilities and admit when he's tired or wounded, instead of soldiering on after the battle is won.

Back on my Danny & Ras frienemies/rivals/maybe-lovers-nobody-can-tell-their-signals-are-very-mixed train. 

See, Danny has gone through time a lot. Often. It comes with being Clockwork’s charge-son-thing and honestly he finds it fun. And several times he’s used this time travelling to get some training in. Enter Ras, stage left, also a teen at the time and also learning swordsmanship from the same person. 

And they… utterly despise each other. They would kill the other for an apple slice, if the other one would die! But also, only they can kill the other, as it is obviously their right! 

And well, they keep running into each other. It has been a hundred years, surely the other would die by now? But of course their rival would live through utter spite. Probably to spite them specifically. 

The amount of times they have ended up sparring- trying to kill each other or not- the moment they see the other is actually ridiculous. But time is also passing. And… Danny understands, not having another to talk about things people are forgetting, or have already forgotten. 

How they ended up actually talking without a murder attempt was a long story that included a demon, a dragon, a pair of fae, some bandits, and a lot of alcohol, but it happened. And then it happens again. And again, and now it’s just kind of normal to share a drink after their spars, talking about things that no longer exist, and things they miss. 

Sure Danny can go back in time again, but he knows better than to do it willy nilly. He’s matured, he’s been an adult for a hundred years now, he knows there’s consequences for messing with time, even with Clockwork’s blessings. 

The first time they got married was technically for an undercover assassination. Well, Ras was there to assassinate someone, Danny was there to grab an artifact that should Not be in the realm of the living. And they got divorced after, it was fine. 

They just, also got married again when they met a few years later, for another job. And… okay, so maybe they have gotten married over a dozen times now and only divorced like half of those times. Half of those were for the bit or while drunk! 

And even if technically they’re married or shared a bed, it’s not like they're exclusive! As Ras’ daughters’ existences attest to (adopted in one case or not). They don’t exactly have a label for their relationship, despite others asking for one or trying to put a name to it themselves. 

Now Danny knows Ras isn’t exactly a good dude, or at least on the side of ‘good’ as he’s a literal assassin. But he also knows that good? Bad? Rather relative. He had gotten labeled as a villain when he was just trying to help all that time ago after all, and really who was he to tell someone else how to live their life? 

Which brings him to now, where he’s run into his old frienemy-rival and his youngest daughter. Who has a braindead teenager and a small toddler. Which is fine, really- but also, Talia dear, why are you using a brain dead teenager to guard your three year old son?

Okay, Talia dear, Ras (Derogatory), why are you using your brain dead son and grandson to guard your younger son and grandson? Do you not have the Pits, which you were soo proud about Ras? Yes, he will spar with you, but for Realms’ sake, heal, what’s his name? Ah yes, go heal Jason and he’ll actually stick around for a few years, deal? Good.

Pt 2. EXTRA Danny accidentally becomes the president

P2 extra: Danny becomes the president

Danny slept for ONLY a few days and when he woke up he was healed of all injury. Oh, and also, he wasn't in his room. NO, he was in a mansion, a FRUITLOOP type of mansion. A beautiful gothic inspired mansion that screamed "I AM ELEGANCE, I AM BEAUTY I AM MONEY" it was only when he one of the workers in the mansion came in did he get informed about what happened these last few days.

APPARENTLY this wasn't just a mansion, it was a WHITE HOUSE. Except it was panted like a black and green galaxy because everyone hates white now

And also he's the president.

A Fenton is either EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL or EXTREMELY UNSUCCESSFUL.

All he wanted to keep to protect his town from the GIW. But considering that fainted he was... unsuccessful? But that slight failure did help the amity parkers decide to help themselves and finally accept him as hero so maybe not??

He was happy that they accepted him and protected him but he really wasn't expecting this at all. Why in the world did they make him president??? He didn't think they liked him that much! Also! How is he president??? Amity park is just a random town in the middle of nowhere Illinois!

Wait...what??! WHAT DO YOU MEAN AMITY IS AN INDEPENDENT COUNTRY???!! I WAS OUT FOR 3 DAYS! THEY HAVENT EVEN STARTED CLEANING UP YET HOW IN THE NAME OF THEY ANCIENTS DID WE GET DECLARED AS AN INDEPENDENT COUNTRY????!

"I see..." Danny nodded after finally calming down. "So let me get this straight..." He counted on his fingers, "You," he looks at the woman in front of him "along side other people and ghosts, and mom and dad, and fright night, and Pandora...kidnapped the us president"

She nodded.

"Took him to UN headquarters, then Bribed, blackmailed, and harrased the UN members into declaring us a country"

.she nodded.

"Then declared me as king and president of amity"

She nodded.

"You know this new development is gonna attract the league of bitches right?"

"Oh we won't have to worry about that for now, but when they do then we'll be prepared." She smiled innocently.

Danny stared at her with tired eyes as he channeled his inner amity parker, the power to say well, I guess this is happening now. He sighed "Fine, but I can't be king and president at the same time. I can be king since you're all liminal, so technically all of amity is part of the whole ghost king territory." He sighed, "but I can't be president, too much responsibility, I'm already in charge of a whole ass realm"

So now they needed a new president, preferably some uncorrupt, someone who doesn't care much about the money and will always look for ways to improve the living standard, someone kind but not a push over.

Next day it was declared that.

MADDIE AND JACK FENTON, PRESIDENTS OF AMITY.

Danny was stunned when he saw the news. Did they seriously pick the resident mad scientists as president.

Don't get him wrong, he loves his parents and know that they're awesome but can they do this???

Turns out they can.

The president Drs Fenton's first move was healthcare for Both ghosts and humans and a free class dedicated to helping yourself.

Helping yourself classes include:

How to stitch your self up

How to use fudge as a weapon

How to fight the world most dangerous villains.

How to fight the worlds strongest heroes

They launched some programs that might seem weird at first.

Programs like:

A defence class against sentient food.

Making friends with the realms

A school for the liminal

A class for avoiding the fae.

Using the blob ghosts as construction workers.

Etch

They might be weird but the end results turned out to be pretty usefull for the amity parkers.

At some point they decided to build a wall around the countrys property. It would ensure that only the amity parkers and people with permission would be able to enter/leave the town. There would be no gate and the only way out would be trough the portal system built by the Fenton's.

Danny thought it was too much

The amity parkers thought it was perfect, they didn't want anyone in their country, this was the kings haunt, this was their home and they would die and then come back as ghosts just to protect it.

And so the wall was raised..

Amity park continued to live in harmony and peace for many years...

A couple of years later.

Flash had come across the wall.

And of course, alerted the league of bitches.

Batman was having a headache, no matter where he looked, no matter how many government systems he hacked, there was nothing. Not a single piece of info, not a single paper trail on what could possibly be whats behind the wall, and when it was built.

But it's impossible for something that big to just appear out of nowhere.

So the JL had suggested looking over Illinois via satellite, the wall didn't have a roof so they should be able to see the inside.

"What the heck" Oracle cursed as she looked at the camera. "Hey RR, look at this"

"what is it?" Red Robin walked closer, coffee mug in hand.

"Somethings interfering, I can't get a view of the wall at all" she took a sip of her own coffee as she tried hacking. Emphasis on TRIED.

The batcomputer was covered in static, then turned black. After that it flashed gold with a Egyptian like gold simbol and a message.

"NU UH"

" Get wrecked ".

Suddenly whoever was On the other side started hacking the batcomputer.

It turned into a nearly 24 hour, (Oracle: does this hacker not sleep??) battle of trying to keep the hacker away from their bat systems.

It only stopped when the hacker sent a message.

"Nice as this little war was, im getting bored so bye (⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠)"

Seizing the opportunity they tried to hack in. Only to be hit with a firewall and a virus.

Life was good, life was stressful but it was good for Danny.

He thought to himself as he walked towards the wall that kept them safe.

Appearantly the clan of glorified furrys tried hacking them last night. Unfortunately for them not only was Tucker incredibly good at hacking, his liminality also gave him less need for sleep so he just kept messing with them until they were exhausted.

But this little occurrence made Danny think a bit. Now that the GIW was gone and the Anti ecto acts were basically burned without a trace , there was no need to hide. There was never a need to isolate their little country in the first place.

The amity parkers are free come and go whenever they want, the wall isn't here to keep them in, it's to keep the outsiders out. The rich familys often go out, they can't just disappear from society after all, but the other amity parkers, they don't. They haven't left at all, claiming that it was better for them here as they probably won't be accepted. Just because the Anti ecto laws are gone doesn't change the fact that liminals and ghost aren't recognized as species, they were closer to myths than metas and the world, (especially the league of bitches) werent like them, they were terrified of change. So they stayed in amity.

The people just wanted to feel safe for a while, lay low until they're sure that no one would hurt them any more. But they're stronger now, better than before and more ...magical.

Danny stops waking and looks back at the town. Liminals, ghost, blobs, and humans with ghostly features from the ecto walked, talked and played together. He grinned so what if the world would have a hard time accepting them? The worlds opinion doesn't matter, destroying it or fleeing to another dimension was always a choice and his people aren't the type to back down from a fight.

Yeah, It was time to reintroduce Amity to the world. He flipped the switch and the walls portal gate opened to Gotham.

Now then? They had a plan, his people suggested he take the lead in the plan and they will follow.

The plan? The plan was to become a head ache for Bruce Wayne, aka the The Furry knight.

Rich fruitloop with a plan to takeover the business world style.

Tim is stressed not only is he stressed with the whole random Illinois wall situation he's also stressing out about this random Business man that appeared out of nowhere And is competing against WE!

So he tried looking into the owner. The owner looked like about his age! Looked like a fresh 18 year old but his file says he's 25, something about slow aging that runs in the family, maybe a meta gene? But theres no way he could build a billionaire company from scratch at only 25 so hes definitely born in a rich family. Daniel Fenton, his name, a perfectly normal name. Only issue is that, THERE ARE NO BILLIONAIRE FAMILIES NAMED FENTON!.

He looked deeper, he found an interview that said he was from a country called Amity when asked where it was, he gave coordinates. Not an address, not a continent, but COORDINATES. And Guess where the coordinates led?

THE FREAKING WALL OF ILLINOIS!!!!.

This man came from the wall! Well... Most likely INSIDE the wall. But from the wall nonetheless.

So he told Bruce, and what was the best way to get a business mans attention without being suspicious?

Okay but Tim with aspd who doesn't really feel love the way his family or friends do, he does care for them - because they're *his* but he sees them as possessions.

I am by no means an expert but here’s my take on this:

I think the biggest part of this would be jealousy? Like, not just the whole dragon hoard mentality thing, but they’re his family and he doesn’t want that to change.

Like, he’s fine with them having friends and partners and all that, but after Damian comes in and eventually gains his ‘approval’, maybe Bruce starts to pick up that maybe he shouldn’t be having any more kids come into the fold so deeply.

It could be him meeting a recently orphaned kid at a charity and he sees Tim, not so much glaring and angry, but looking scared and heartbroken. He’d probably assume it’s because he recently lost his own parents, but then Tim hesitantly asks him if the kid is going to be moving in with them and while he and an excellent poker face, Bruce is Batman.

I think he’d want constant assurance that they love him and want to be around him, but all it takes is a few days or even hours apart and he starts to tell himself they were lying or changed their minds.

His response to this is that he has to ‘fix’ it, whether by talking to them or by moving things around so he can see them more, like time tables or family dinner.

But on the opposite end, I think he’d totally forget to offer the same love. Purely because I’m his kind they are his family, they’re his people, y’know? Why wouldn’t he care for them? He needs words of affirmation to know he’s actually wanted there and he is not intruding, yet just assumes that if he wants to not deal with them for weeks or months at a time, that’s completely normal.

He’s not selfish, he genuinely wouldn’t see why that is a problem because he’s made sure they want him there when he gets back and they’re his family so what’s wrong??

Naturally, Bruce and Alfred would pick up on it first and help him understand through logical reasoning and thinking without making him feel like he’s broken in some way.

He seems a bit like he's studying you at times but acts like a student similar to you.

In reality, it's a ploy to get closer to Light...

Then it becomes a way to get close to you.

The two may be focused on finding each other out, but they end up both meeting you.

L probably ends up learning about you through Light since he notices you around him so often.

You start off as a suspect, yet soon their focus shifts to you for other reasons.

Both may find you as a distraction... but notice the other is also eerily into you.

L is the one most likely to put up cameras and other devices to monitor you.

He'd sit in front of those monitors for hours while he researches Kira.

Light on the other hand, ends up dragging you everywhere he goes.

You're most likely going to befriend them both in some way.

I say this as I feel if you're involved with one, the other will follow due to them researching one another.

Maybe it's for the best that you're unaware of all of this....

summary... a collection of headcanons involving life in the red-haired pirates, but you just so happen to be your captains lover. (super score!!)

warnings... shanks is a perv, non-sexual nudity, anddd dirty jokes (the usual). Andddd this writer has no clue what the inside of the Red Force looks like so... (southern beck save me)

A/N... not proofread at all WAAGGH I'm sorry for how lazy this is!

Shanks and his crew are normally more laidback from what I remember from their few appearances in the anime and manga, although that doesn't mean they're lazy completely. Most nights after Shanks helps a small town or island, a celebration ensues, and you definitely can't count out the liquor and drinking contests either!

I feel like dating your captain on the crew, however, makes things feel somewhat different, instead of a good friend, somehow the crew portrays you as a little sibling that they just have to annoy.

Rising up slowly out of bed, tangled in your captains arm and legs, it takes you a while to wake up with the morning air smelling of salty sea water, a light and maybe eerie mist engulfing the ship. The sun was barely making its debut to the crew, but normally you and Shanks woke eachother up.

"Shanks."

You lightly shove his shoulder.

"Shanks."

With a sigh, you press your finger into his cheek and pinch the side of his mouth.

"Shanks—"

Exhaling all the air in your lungs, you sharply inhale through your nose, clearing your throat. It was the same routine every morning, you could never wake him up. But, he was an emperor now, and you weren't in the east blue anymore, so you had zero clue why and how he was still comfortable enough to sleep in every chance he got... But, he had a very reliable crew, so there was no use fretting over it, really.

"Wake your lazy asses up! It's breakfast time!"

No questions asked, Shanks shot up quickly gasping for air, head turning around towards the door. He barely even looked at you, not that he meant it in a harmful way. Yikes, was he the reason why Luffy ended up that way? He was basically the kids idol...

"If we're having pancakes..."

An amused hum slipped past your lips, you already knew the answer to that.

"We got pancakes and French toast!"

Without another word, he jumped out of bed, clumsily falling against the floor, scrambling to get back up. He looked down, realizing he wasn't dressed, before looking at you with a pleading look in his eyes. Any longer and he would have started pouting, you're sure.

"I'm not helping you get dressed, you're a grown man."

"Why not? You helped me get undressed last night." He whined, moving over to the bed again, slumping his body over yours. His hand gently moved to the base of your neck, his warm lips wet with his saliva pressed sloppy kisses behind your ear. Of course, his signature move whenever he's asking for something.

"Fine. But you owe me."

"Aye, aye, sir!" He giggled.

When they aren't busy liberating people, and simply heading to one island after the next, the red-haired pirates are often bored. So, in order to rid themselves of such a horrid feeling, they tend to do stupid things for an adrenaline rush, though they normally end up hurt or accidentally losing stuff.

One person will get the idea, and eventually it circulates to everybody else, sometimes even the ships serious doctor, Hongo, will end up indulging in a little fun with a few pushes.

"Where— Where are your shirts?" You questioned them, feeling a little embarrassed just looking at them. They didn't seem to care, since half of the crew dressed like sluts with their chests out, but a few younger members looked self conscious.

"Well... We wanted to see if we could make a flag out of all of our shirts... But it accidentally flew away once we sewed them together..."

Picking up your jaw, you clenched your fists, furrowing your brows as you looked over all of them, some of them holding a shameful look, others not caring much. "Don't any of you have other shirts?" You heard footsteps approaching, heavy ones, so they were probably Beck.

"Where the hell are all y'all's shirts?" Beck sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of his nose. Some of them chuckled, others shrunk into themselves, and the rest were silently observing.

"They said they flew away." You replied with a shrug, not bothering to pass on the rest of the explanation.

"Hah! Oh, that's hilarious!" Shanks yelled across deck, bellowing out laughter, causing everybody else to laugh, too.

I feel as if when you have such a variety of crew, as Shanks does, personalities clash and rivalries start unintentionally sometimes over the smallest things. You could probably expect somebody calling you over to settle something every once in a while, like who is more efficient in cleaning, and who might be taller, trivial things like that.

Most of the crew I think would hold small "competitions" and "tournaments" , I thought of that one challenge where people stuff bombones in their mouth, and I also thought they would like to try that kind of challenge.

It was nearing dinner time, and the majority wanted to go out to eat in the rather large town you managed to dock at, riding out a storm previously. The doors of the restaurant swung open as you walked in, the bustling restaurant immediately feeling like home to you.

"Y/N! Can you help us over here? Hongo gave us a huge side eye when we asked for help. You see, Limejuice here—"

"Why is he turning blue?" Panning over to a nearly asphyxiated Limejuice, you wondered one thing. How does a pirate this strong nearly die from choking? Why was he even choking? He wasn't stupid, that was for sure... okay, well, maybe he was a little stupid, but all men are a little stupid. You managed to dislodge the piece of food stuck in his throat, but it was odd, still.

"Ahem! Well, you see, we all bet 100 berri.... To see who could fit the most of their food in their mouth without swallowing it." Although his voice was a little hoarse, you managed to make out Limejuice's sentence. How do these idiots survive, you wondered.

"Who won? If it wasn't you, I'll make you walk the plank."

"... I lost."

A resounding BANG! Echoed throughout the restaurant, the metal tray hitting the blond-haired idiot heavier than you had planned. Oh, well!

Okay, okay, moving onto being together with your captain while on the crew. Expect occasional teasing, like little kids, your crew will sing little rhymes and gasp and giggle every time you and Shanks do as much as look at eachother.

Considering Shanks is on demon time when he's with you, practically jumping ontop of you when he kisses you, his arm hooked around your waist holding you in place, you're gonna stay there until a few childish giggled and overly dramatic groans resound across deck.

Truth or Dare is a staple on The Red Force. Snorting flour, downing a mixture of egg and sardines mixed with Lucky Roux's signature hot sauce, the whole works. Normally they're fun, but not so much when they involve you specifically in their dares, and it normally ends up with you hiding away in the crows nest as to not be bothered.

"Truth... or Dare? Pick your poison."

Once again, the childish sign was up on deck. It was a cool day, and many were gathered to participate in todays game, but you simply turned a blind eye, knowing you would get dragged in somehow, and it would be best to try and ignore it.

Somehow, you forgot about that predicament, what with all of Shanks' endless griping and whining, complaining about the most mundane of things no matter what, it was ticking you off. The two of you argued, as normal couples did, and somehow some of the senior officers got involved, Beckmann and Yasopp pretending they didn't hear, but Roux seemed a little more involved in your drama. What were you arguing about? You had zero clue about that by now.

You were so ticked off, you didn't notice the few troublemakers present on deck asking Roux to complete a dare. It was late, and you needed a shower, and so you headed to the bathroom, taking a nice, long, much needed shower, the warm water seeping into your skin. After getting dressed, you decided to head to you and Shanks' room, but you felt the smile from your face drop when you heard giggles and the familiar tearing of meat.

It sounded like Roux, Shanks, and a few other people. Stepping back, pressing your back against the wall, you took a deep breath, before heading back towards your bedroom door.

You were greeted by a less than pleasant sight. Actually, you think it made you sick.

There was so much fat spilling out of that dress, you couldn't tell which part of his body it was, and you weren't sure that you wanted to know, anyways. On your bed, there he sat, like some bikini model, all dolled up and even wearing a wig, the leg of meat still kept in his hand by his firm grip, which made it all even funnier. But, alas, you simply couldn't give them the satisfaction of laughing at them, because then they just wouldn't stop! It was all the more terrible, because your lover was just sitting there gasping for air while he kept laughing.

"Oh ho ho... Why hello there, my sweet Y/N... Care to... Join me in bed? I'm not wearing anything underneath." His hand rubbed his stomach, making everybody bellow out in laughter

Jaw dropping to the floor, eyes bulging out of your head, you turned on your heel, and immediately bee-lined for the door.

"That dress does NOT fit you!"

You yelled out, holding your hand over your mouth as you tried not to satisfy them with your laughter.

Dp x Dc or just Dp things I (personally) want to see more of.

Just some stuff I've seen and really liked but never see enough of.

Danny is very casually a genius and/or skilled (engineering, gymnastics, really any skill you pick):

There isn't enough of it tbh. I dont think people realise just how smart and skilled he is. Being a ghost probably made him very flexible and gave him extra abilities the average human may not have. Also he comes from a family of scientists, yeah maybe up against them he doesn't seem smart, but being "smart" comes in different forms. More often than not the ability to be smart comes from your ability to pick up on things, retain information, understand information, and use that information accordingly. Danny does that, especially with his villains. He even finds outside the box ways to defeat his villains. Like tricking Freakshow into becoming a ghost.

I just think its under utilized. A lot of Teen heros are geniuses but no one ecknowledges it. Hell, you can make it that Danny doesn't even realise just how smart he is. He doubts it and often thinks he's one of the dumber people in the room. But when sleep deprived and running on a cup of coffee he can solve a problem he hasn't even seen before the konk out for an hour.

Danny has BEEF with the JL or isn't outright a fan:

In a lot of fics the JL (especially Batman) are huge hypocrites. Like they'll barge into Amity trying to solve problems that don't even effect them, screw things up more, then offer Danny more training. Hello????? You guys being there caused the problem???? Then, in other things Batman preaches about territory and Danny will get threatened or treated with suspicion for even stepping foot NEAR Gothem, but then barges into his territory like its his buisness.

Let Danny call them out. Let him point out that everything has been fine untill they showed up. Let him get MAD. This is HIS territory, HIS haunt, HIS people. These guys have done nothing for him! Why should he accept their help when their help only makes things worse? In fics where they help him because he needed it and ended up in Gotham let him be suspicious and careful. He doesn't need to be vivasected or hurt to be warry of the crime fighting furries he just met.

Mans has the experience to know you can't trust anyone untill they prove you can.

Danny should be casually overpowered and spooky:

This isn't even he has to be experienced. He is so used to his powers he doesn't realise how scary it is. He will casually stop a punch from superman, laugh, quipe, then punch back.

He accidentally breaks stuff, walks through things, glows, its so normal for him. He apologizes and does it again because he forgot. He genuinly has no idea how strong he is, he just knows he needs to be soft on humans.

Danny and Phantom are very different personalities:

I'm not saying they're two different people. They have the same mind same person. But the way they act is so different. Danny is grumpy, quiet, whimpy. Danny is a loser, and everyone knows it. Phantom, on the other hand, is confident, he jokes, smiles, makes a game out of his struggles, he's strong. Phantom is just a good guy. Everyone (minus others) loves him!

This happens because Danny is more comfortable as Phantom or Vise Versa. Sertant trates carry over, they're nerds, they're smart, they enjoy a good pun, they're sassy. But because Danny is a loser everyone sees it as lame, but with Phantom its endearing.

None of this means you need to get rid of silly nerdy Danny. You can have that but all these other things ad depth to his character. Hes smart but not confident, he's kind but not naive, he's powerful but not violent, and he finds comfort in the fact no one knows him.

Idk. I'm not a big fanfic writer so i thought i would just share and see what others do with it.
