I ALWAYS find it where when people beef with Black people who want to date other Black people.

God, I cannot describe how much I hate the LADs TikTok community. It's like being around a bunch of ppl who get their information about the lore from TikTok edits, spread misinformation, and mischaracterize the characters to no end.

Today's problem is how they treat MC, especially when it comes to Rafayel. It's bad enough that I see so many ppl bodyshaming/ insulting how some MCs look but it's also the fact that they blame her for everytime!!

You don't know how many times I've seen ppl glaze over MCs trauma in every lifetime and how many ppl make her out to be some type of villain. The worst of this is when they talk of Rafayel's anecdotes.

We know that Rafayel lost his tail and fins because MC cut them off but we also know that MC didn't do it of her own free will. It is a complicated situation that has two victims. Rafayel for having to watch his race die and the one he loves "betray" him and MC for having to watch herself heart her beloved. Like does no one acknowledge how painful that must be!?

Look at the end of the day I will always be MCs #1 defender. If she doesn't have nobody, than at least she has me!! WHOORAAH!!

But anyway, I know it's not that serious and it's just a game Yada Yada- but I'm tired of well-written otome MCs constantly getting slack because ppl refuse to have a lick of media literacy. “yeah, well, you didn’t like me at first either.” ellie chuckled beside you, slowly guiding you to the left.

“you can't keep using that as your argument for everything,” you said with a hint of fake annoyance in your voice. 

ellie clicked her tongue at the top of her mouth, “i can and i will,” she stopped, leading you to stop as well, “stairs, be careful–” you watched your feet out of the bottom of the bandana and carefully walked up the few steps.

you looked around and it was the same gymnasium from your games last year and before you could ask why she brought you here, you turned your attention back to her and saw she had set up a small picnic blanket. there was food and drinks splayed across it, along with a perfectly white volleyball. 

“surpriseee,” she dragged out, obviously proud of herself. 

“how did you–”

you two were only meant to be in the gymnasium for an hour, maybe two tops. but once you had stopped eating and started to play, the hours ticked by like they were nothing. both of you sweaty messes on either side of the court, sending the ball flying with each hit. you’d think with how loving ellie was as a girlfriend that she would let you win, but that was the furthest thing from what was happening. 

she would send you diving for the ball on all ends of your court, laughing as she did. you didn’t go easy on her either, in fact you were putting all your effort in to make her run from one side to another as well and everytime the ball hit the floor on her side you’d cheer for yourself. anytime you thought she was going to give up and accept defeat she would say, “one more serve, i got distracted,” or “c’mon that was totally out of bounds, i want a do over–” 

it was only when the janitors knocked on the gym doors that you two stopped. it had been hours since you had arrived and you both realized the community center was closing, “what was the score? twenty two to sixteen?” you gloated as you left the gym, holding the door for ellie while she carried the blanket out with her. 

“yeah, because we got interrupted,” ellie’s eyes rolled, this time she held the exit door open for you and you both stepped out into the chilly night air. 

“mhm, sure,” you turned back to her as the door shut behind her. she shifted the blanket to her opposite arm as she walked up beside you, planting a delicate kiss on your cheek. you turned your head when she retracted and pulled her face into a real kiss. “that was perfect, thank you.”

I didn't make any resolutions really and I'm not about that life but growth and change are constant so here's a couple changes I made that I really like:

I'm dumb, baby! Okay, what I actually mean is that as an autistic Black parentified eldest daughter virgo rising: I am retired from being on top of shit that isn't mine. I play stupid. I sit back. I let ppl fuck shit up even though I did say something to warn them; I'm not 'following up' and reminding fuckers who don't pay attention, I'm not 'getting ahead' or being overly helpful. I'm not doing anyone's work, I'm not even helping unless they're a) a friend b) a community member in need c) paying me. I don't care about shownig how proficient or Type A or superwoman I am/can be. I don't care if ppl see me as stupid, or like them in their lack of Paying Attention or whatever. I don't care. Does this mean I watch ppl end up in messes that could have possibly been avoided if I pushed and reminded them of shit that was pointed out earlier? Yes. And that's how it should be. Some shit is truly other ppl's problem.

Wearing perfume daily, for me. Simple. I wear fine perfume oils so this doesn't mean I'm constantly walking around in a heavy cloud of scent that would also bother others. But it's a nice stim and it's a way of anointing myself that brings a good, abundant and pleasurable energy

i desperately need your sweetest headcanons of ez and rayla being Siblings

Mandatory Rayla&Ezran brotp tag drop here & first some rambly meta cause like, a lot of this is based on the concept(s) of Ezran and Rayla fundamentally being more like each other than either of them are like Callum

Like they both grew up friendless (whereas Callum seems to have a lot more ease in actually interacting with new people & I've always HC'd him having less friends out of choice, cause those potential ppl didn't get along wit his brother) and feeling perpetually different, they both (like Claudia) take on their parents' previous paths and feel the weight of it. They also tend to have a lot of similar esque insecurities and hangups ("I feel like I'm letting everyone down" 3x03 —> "I failed them, I let them all down" 3x04 / "It's not fair you have to go through this alone" 5x02 —> "I knew I had to be strong alone" in 5x04 / self blame tendencies with "You knew? I'm an idiot! I should've figured it out" 2x08 —> "Ugh, I'm such an idiot. I should've figured it out" 1x09) and are both very much bleeding hearts. They're also willing to pivot away from prior missions (bringing Zym home) for causes they see as more worthy in a lot of ways — going home to rule (the individual collective) and freeing Phyrrah (the individual stranger) — even if that separates them from others and/or puts them more at risk, cause they're just loyal to causes and ideals and self-imposed responsibilities tethered to those concepts like that? I love them

Like they both are like Callum — Ezran is emotionally open and inclined towards vulnerability, like him, which Rayla is not, and Callum and Rayla, esp in arc 1, take on responsibilities that Ezran do not & all their stuff with adoptive dads and communication etc etc. — but they're also more similar to each other than they are to him. More on that here & here + bonus S5 hammering that in more than ever (Rayla going with Ezran's plan in 5x05 anyone?)

Now onto the actual headcanons

Rayla doesn't have a lot of patience for games (cards, chess, etc.) and will be a sore loser/give up when playing with just about anyone else (including Callum) but she can never say no to Ezran over it, and he's so earnest/having such a great time she can never be a total grump when they do play games together

Ezran is the one who primarily took care of her Shadowpaw, for obvious reasons, in the castle stables until she returned, hence why sweetie pie was waiting for her & ready for the Lux Aurea trip

The little archangel lunaris on his backpack was absolutely chosen with her in mind <3

Both Rayla and Ezran possess an abundance of faith in other people, and this is shown best when they're being supportive of or defending one another ("She'll know what to do" —> "He can do this, we have to believe in him" —> "She's alive. And wherever she is, she loves you too")

Rayla weaving a little braid into his hair and having Ezran weave one into hers as well because braids are for love and family, and they are certainly both to one another

This shitpost, which is really just them getting stuck on and continually adding to dumb bits for each other to laugh at

Playing pranks back and forth on Soren and sometimes on Callum

Mostly they just tag team chores like "making sure Callum has eaten and slept and left his study recently" / keeping their favourite mage out of his head

Rayla giving Ezran stealth lessons and Ezran having Rayla bake jelly tarts with him

They always insist on being on the same team when it comes to snowball fights at the Banther Lodge

Ez loves to infodump about certain things and Rayla loves to let him, especially since his trains of thought and ramblings are a bit easier for her to follow than his brother's (most of the time)

Rayla having Ezran teach her how to notice things about illusion animals so she can have an easier time telling the difference (Soren teases her about it and she socks him in the stomach)

This isn't really so much of a headcanon as it is a canon observation but in battle sequences Callum doesn't really usually focus (outside of when he's using said magic to protect Ezran) on getting Ezran away from the danger, instead trusting Rayla to do so — and she always does (1x06, 1x08, 1x09, 2x04, 5x09)

Because she's just his friend and not his subject (or for now, an official member of his council the same way), Ezran finds himself seeking out when he just needs to have dumb kid fun, and Rayla is always down to help him

On that note she's very good at knowing when he needs space vs when he's okay being fussed over (Callum, Opeli) and telling people that even when he may not be able to express it himself because non-verbal times / feeling overwhelmed

Whenever they go on roadtrips in the future, Rayla does her best to bring special snacks around for him (and teach him how to forage, which animals can help him with too)

Eventually when Ezran is a little older, Soren needles him about learning how to defend himself, and Ezran dreads having to hold a sword and initially refuses. But Rayla plops down beside him and talks him through it and reaffirms that they just always want to make sure he's safe, and that's what gets him to come around to the idea

Ezran and Rayla both being physically affectionate people — Rayla slinging her arm along his shoulders, Ezran often grabbing her hand as a sign of support (most often the one she was going to lose to the binding) and squeezing gently, like a reminder that they're both still here and everything's okay and/or going to be alright

Rayla tears up when she realizes that Ezran is finally taller than her, much to his mild annoyance and amusement

Ezran helps Rayla with her proposal to Callum, and does not tell her (or his brother) that Callum is also planning to propose lmao

where are kaeya's hot genetics are coming from??? the darker skin?? blue eyes, dark blue hair?? like they could've at least give him the same brown skin tone to match, but no. and genshin matches relatives OBSESSIVELY. hot genetics HAVE to come from somewhere.

sumeru is near khaenriah. deshret's civilization is connected to khaenriah in canon, we know for a fact some of the survivors became part of khaenriah. deshret's civilization was also highly advanced AND fucked with the abyss. it's all not crack, thats just stating canon facts. so like it doesn't seem to me as a stretch to guess that the khaenriah's noble bloodline originated from Deshret. like, a lot of ppl connected to the desert have rhombs in their pupils, which we know is the main visible sign of this bloodline. like, thats not precisely khaenriah diamonds, but its fucking close, ok?

and Candace is canonically a direct descendent of Deshret himself. Brown skin - check, blue eye color - check, dark midnight blue hair - check, hotness - hell yeah check.

if you catch my drift, i think khaenriah's main noble bloodline, the one that is not hilichurled, hailed from deshret. their only choice to get a normal, non-cursed kid was to find the descendants of the same bloodline who did not leave desert for khaenriah and so were not cursed, and it's Candace's family. booom babyy

so in ideal world, Candace and Kaeya realize they're distant cousins bc she's like Alberich? My aunt married some shady dude named Alberich, was that your dad? like all kaeya always wanted was to belong, and here he finally will have family that is not trying to use him OR repressed anger issue catholics. and nahida let even scara to redeem after he tried to murder her. kaeya could finally come clean and just live as himself.

and he would be so needed too, like the desert ppl are in turmoil process of integrating with sumeru, criminals are overrunning aaru village. and who keeps treasure hoarders in mond in check with nothing but three dumb sergeants and a smile? kaeya would sort that shit out in a month. seriously, i had to go to liyue to farm treasure hoarders, there are no roaming mobs of them in mond. kaeya would also be the best liason to akademiya, growing up with nobility and being used to political games as mond's spymaster.

after this premise, there is literally not a single character in sumeru it would not be fun to see kaeya interacting with. he and dehya are immediately besties, they met on a shopping trip where candace was helping him choose his new skin outfit, and this same evening drunk dehya is princess carrying him out of tavern. he can amplify cyno's horrible puns into a weapon of mass destruction and tighnari can't even hate him, bc he also made ppl stop eating poisonous mushrooms by spreading rumors that if you eat too much of them, their spores will grow inside of and mindcontrol you. its absolute bullshit, but it worked, goddamit. kaeya could solve kaveh and alhaitham's communication problems in one evening at a bar, but he wouldn't, bc he's a little shit and he thinks its entertaining to watch and he's curious how long its gonna take them by themselves, but he would give them trollish little nudges. also, in nilou's tropue he would finally have a proper bohemian scene to exercise his flair for dramatics and inspire several epic poems by being a heartbreaker.

tldr little desert village has neither rich nobility nor grand destiny he's supposed to fulfill, but it has ppl who will accept and appreciate him, and i think realizing that he doesn't have to choose between a coinflip of bad and awful and learning to live for himself instead is one of kaeya's arcs best possible resolutions

most ppl understandably default to selecting "code" when they go to enter the, well, code i give them, but my "code" is actually part of my phone number and they need to select "phone call" to make it work

it's dumb, i wish they would change it (one of the few gripes i have about this place), but c'est la vie

Michael is the angel who looks after the human realm the most. At first it was to pass time after the brother's fall then he actually started to enjoy looking down upon them. He would never allow himself to go into the human realm and get too attached to them though, he wouldn't allow another Lilith-like accident.

Michael is the reason why Raphael can endure Solomon's cooking. It's RIVALING his. Do not let them cook together, it will NOT end well for the world.

Uriel teaches young angels about pretty much everything. She is even older than Michael so everyone sees her a possibly the wisest being alive in the three realms. Barbatos has a one-sided rivarly with her because of that.

Uriel and Raphael are 99% of the Celestial Realm's fight power. Uriel is 90%.

Simeon is Uriel's favorite angel by far, which is heartbreaking news to Michael who wanted to be her favorite.

Simeon and Michael regularly fights over Luke's custody without Luke knowing.

Every angel have blue eyes, each a slightly different shade. Michael's eyes are a very light shade of blue, almost pastel/ice colored, very soothing to look at. On the contrario, Uriel's tend to look reddish and because of this color's connotation with demons she wears a veil, which covers almost all of her face.

Uriel was Jeanne D'Arc's guardian angel, and her deepest regret was to not have been able to give her a proper death. (Yes Ik that Michael was the one who talked to her but we're not here for accuracy now are we)

Uriel and Michael have long ass hair. Uriel always wears a bun so it's not very noticeable but Michael takes great pride in it and he either braids it or lets it loose.

Michael do not tan, he gets sunburns immediately. Red all over his body. He's too white to endure the sun. Uriel on the other hand, is naturally tanned and can enjoy the sun while Michael has to drown himself in sunscreen (same Michael, same.)

Half of the angels have the fattest crush on Simeon. The other half ? On Raphael. The lesbians ? On Uriel.

Raphael likes to watch new souls going to heaven when he has free time. It soothes him, knowing that some people can still end up good despite all the ugliness in the world.

Luke learned ASL (Angel ? American ? Alien ? Who knows. Not me. Sign Language) because he thought that it was needed to communicate with Uriel, and then realized that she was unable to see, not to hear. He felt dumb. But he's still happy to have learned it though. It could come in handy in the future, who knows (ppl with mc with hearing problems this is your time to shine).

Dude, it feels like being in the flippin’ trenches being in the MJ fandom. From this account on this app that was taking over the MJ Tag and spreading so much misinformation to the point where I had to block her (She was using quotes from Shmuley, hinting that he could have been a predator, and he turned on Michael a few years ago I believe) to MJGuilters on TikTok making Pedo jokes at any positive Michael videos. Of course, the MJFam makes them wish they never said anything, being bombarded with truth and facts, but it never seems to be enough. Yes, there will be people who are just not educated and they take in what you tell them, but some others just won’t and call you names about be a “Pedo Lover” and whatnot. I do hope that one day, everyone will see and know that truth, but with streaming services allegedly saying that “the world isn’t ready for a positive Michael Jackson film” (according to one of MJ’s past bodyguards who took part in a documentary) I don’t think we’ll see that day. It hurts sometimes and when it does, I just feel like giving up and leaving it so I don’t have to hear any negative comments or jokes, and that’s the dark side of being a moonwalker/soldier of love. Defending him can be exhausting when it’s falling on deaf ears, but I know it’s our job to be here fighting for him when he’s not here himself.

There was this one guilter troll in my inbox who would send like 50 or so anons DAILY for MONTHS straight harassing me about his cases. Of course, I fought back and we dished it out back and forth bc ain’t no way am I letting some dumb bitch slander my man lmao but the shit they would say was NUTS

Then my dad passed away so I had to step back from it bc I just couldn’t mentally handle it at the time. But idgaf I’m back lol and I’ll never stfu about defending MJ bc he’s innocent and idc what ANYONE says lol I will rip someone’s face off 😭 I had a whole reputation on here of being legit vicious 😭😭😭😭 my MJ followers would just send me posts to respond to cuz they knew I could shut a bitch up faster than them, it was so funny 🤣 ppl were fuckin scared of me fr cuz I’d bust into their shit and hit ‘em with every possible document they would mention proving them wrong so eventually they stopped messin w me cuz they were legit scared of my crazy ass

I'm just gonna go on a small rant about how the P5 community treats Shutaba and how it's genuinely kinda dumb in a way.

It really tires me how when anyone sees a fan who is playing or just discovering Persona 5 for the very first time and realizes the chemistry behind Futaba and Ren (Joker) and ultimately starts shipping them, gets bashed on by anyone with saying "omg they're literally brother and sister that's gross ew, Futaba is a child, nasty ass proshipper"

It happened to me, I discovered P5 not that that long ago and I tried joining fandom spaces and it was.. hell.

So I'm hoping that this could hopefully help someone and maybe stop those toxic people who literally start crying and labeling stuff with extreme terms.

First of all, Ren is NOT Sojiro's adopted son. He's more like his protégé, his student in the coffee, curry, café, womanizing (lol), ect spaces. He only "took him in" because he's the only one who said yes to taking in a guy on probation. Yes, I am not doubting the bond they have, but it's like a sensei and his student. Dazai and Atsushi from BSD basically.

And I see many many MANY people try to argument against this with parts of the games where characters mention that she's like a little sister.

Wanna know the fun part about Persona?

It now scares me to interact with the fandom because of how many times I've been attacked to the point I just gotta shut off the pc and let the anxiety flood away, I can't even make friends with ppl with the same interest in the english P5 fandom because of that.

Good thing is that (most) of the spanish speaking Persona community is chill and knows that drama about said ship is honestly stupid.

Basically just, let people do as they please, go touch grass and if you don't like the path someone took in game, then just block or don't interact with that thing.

IRL you can't block people but online you can, so you shouldn't rage or seeth about it, especially about a game.

Saying someone is a proshipper by shipping Shutaba is like saying someone is a criminal and a violent person for playing Fortnite or that horror artists are sick and twisted people just because of their stories.

Instead, actually go after those who are problomatic like those who genuinely ship Kotone/FeMC with Ken.

I dunno how comfortable you are with compliments so i’m putting a little warning here; compliments incoming :)

Firstly, you are an awesome writer. Like genuinely. Plus it’s so impressive that you write/post those microfics everyday, it’s serious (sirius haha) dedication, and most ppl wouldn’t have it in them to keep a routine like that. 

Two, you have legit saved people. People here felt safe enough to ask you for help, and from all i’ve seen, you’re damn good at giving advice. 

Plus I saw that one anon you answered where you told the person not to admit they cheated if it’d get them in more trouble than they deserve, and I salut you for that. (I remember you also told them that cheating is wrong and mostly don’t do it- don’t worry I got the right message). 

Anyway, my point is, there aren’t many places people feel safe enough to talk about their problems or insecurities or even dangers. Especially on the internet. So you’ve made a really good community here. You should be proud. 

But we’re doing full honesty right? So honestly, I think that it seems like sometimes you don’t have enough faith in yourself. 

I mean your fics are amazing, but also, they’re fucking free and a gift to the fandom. So you shouldn’t feel the need to meet anyone’s demands or be good enough for anyone but yourself. 

And here, you have helped so many people, I understand insecurity is a part of living, but maybe you don’t get how helpful your blog is. Whenever I come on here, you’ve posted a microfic or made a marauders joke or truly helped someone (with annoyingly good advice btw, i’m an adult and yet NO WHERE NEAR as mature, so good on u), and it’s soothing. You’re soothing.

Give yourself credit, is what i’m saying. 

You’re allowed to feel proud that you help people, proud that people love your writing, and ignore anyone who’s an asshole cause they’re dumb anyway.

And don’t forget that you don’t owe anyone anything. You don’t owe anyone a fic, or a tumblr post or an anon answer or even (within reason) kindness. You’re being generous with your time and your kindness by helping people. And while obviously that’s a good thing, you shouldn’t feel pressured to do so. 

Wait let me rephrase that- anyone who pressures you to do so is a bad person and should be strongly ignored. 

You don’t have to apologise for not wanting to post or be on social media. And anyone who cares should value that you’re taking time for yourself. 

Plus, and sorry if it’s weird to bring up your like, real life, but I think you’re probably a really great teacher. I didn’t have many people who believed in me growing up and you seem like someone who believes in people. And that’s what matters most. 

(Plus all teachers are criminally underpaid so like- good for you sticking with a half shitty job- though then again all jobs are half shitty) 

Also, and in this day and age this is a truly high compliment, you don’t seem like you’ve ever sent hate.
