My Former Students Are Still Brats As Adults!

My name is Katsura. I'm the Principal for Etra Elementary. And I'm about to have a meeting with Miss Akane and Miss Yuzuriha. I can't help but feel anxious about this meeting.

See, back in the day when I was still a teacher, Akane and Yuzuriha were my students. And they were unruly, misbehaving students of mine. They spent a lot of time in detention. I heard from the grapevine they got their act together in Junior High, so I was happy to hear that they were on the right track. I had hope for their future.

And my hope was rewarded by meeting their children; Suzuran & Urushi respectively. And what entitled brats they are. They truly take after their mothers, acting just like they did back in the day. When I heard who their mothers were, I knew I had to speak to them personally. Normally, it's their fathers, Mr. Kuroki & Mr. Hiragi, whom I speak to in these meetings, but I had a hunch they were getting this attitude from somewhere else…

So, at the meeting…

Akane: I should have known you were the principal if my Suzuran is getting punished so frequently!

Yuzuriha: Yeah. You have it out for poor Urushi, don't you?

I knew it. Even after all these years, they still blame others for their poor choices…

Katsura: Miss Akane, Yuzuriha; I understand that you may not be fond of me, but this is about your kids. Not our past history.

Yuzuriha: Obviously, it is when you specifically request us by name!

Akane: Yeah! My husband told me you wanted to speak with just me! So what gives?!

Katsura: sigh Listen. I think it's time I did something I should have done a long time ago.

Akane/Yuzuriha: ???

Katura: When you two were little, I swore that I'd leave discipline to your parents. As a teacher, it's not my duty to punish you, but to educate you. After all, you were just kids. And i was sure your parents knew how to handle you better. But now, as a principal, I can see how foolish I was all those years ago.

Then, I stood up. Standing at my full height, I could see Akane and Yuzuriha shrink under my gaze.

Akane: W-wait!

Yuzuriha: Mister….Mister Katsura, what are you doing?!

Katsura: Something I should have done a long time ago…

And that's when I began to spank them.

Akane: WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! I'M AN ADULT!

Katsura: Yes. And as an adult, you should know that not disciplining your child is your responsibility. So if you don't handle them at home, I'll handle you here! If the child misbehaves, then it's the parents who should be spanked.

Akane: W-WHAT?!

Katsura: And Yuzuriha, keep those arms up! You still have 15 minutes for your corner time. And I'll know if you rub your bottom!

Yuzuriha: Th-this is…humiliating…I can't take this…

Katsura: Yes you will or it's another turn over my lap for both of you!

Akane: NO! PLEASE!

Yuzuriha: W-we're sorry! We're sorry! We'll behave! W-we'll make sure our children behave!

It was the worst experience of my life, but I made sure it was even worse for Akane and Yuzuriha.

After that, I noticed that Suzuran and Urushi began to get in trouble less and less. By the time they graduated and were off to Junior High, they were perfectly behaved - unlike their mothers, who I had many more run ins. It hurts my heart to punish them, but it seems I'm still their teacher…

So, this idea was mostly a suggestion. I don't promise to do requests, but this one was almost too good not to. So thank chanceoutof20 for this being made.

Anyhoo, Katsura. Him being the principal was part of the request, and it was fun to finally draw an Etra-Chan character outside of their "base age". But, uh, yeah, Katsura, I feel, is a bit of a boring character. I kinda just lump him with Kuroki and Tokusa as being kinda of 'good guy trio'. Just kinda regular guys that the team can lean on for being a good guy. To Kuroki and Tokusa's credits, they have some more personality when compared to Katsura, but i'd be lying if I said any of them were my favorite.

But, despite my bias, I do think Katsura was the right choice for this role, as I don't think it would've fit anyone else. So, you know, maybe there is a purpose to him.

As for Suzuran and Urushi; no, I'm not sneaking my own OCs into this, lol. They're legit characters. If you're an English speaker like me and haven't heard of them, then that's because they've only appeared in Japanese and haven't been dubbed yet (as of now/as far as I know). Thank you Mallory36 for telling me this.

Finally, no matter how you think this story ends, I do not advocate the spanking of children. Regardless of what I may have done before, I do not draw or write children getting spanked. I like to think Akane and Yuzuriha just behaved better around their kids and they, in turn, followed their better example.

1: The Doctor kills Torvic, puts the blame on the Master and starts a rivalry. The Doctor and the Master are still 8 year old and Torvic is propably 8 or 9 by then. It is the ancient times.

2: Eventually the Master's evil schemes brings him to become Crispyfied. He decides to take over the Source of Traken. It is still ancient times but the Master can go to the far future when the Source will already be built.

3: 1959, Traken. Or well, by the Traken calendar is 2978. The Master arrives on Traken and manipulate a 18 year old girl named Kassia into giving you the Source.

4: 1963\2982, you're born. Your mother soon dies of complication after your birth. Kassia gets elected as a Consul instead. The other Consuls are your father Tremas, his best friend Seron, Seron's wife Katura, and Katura's best friend Zorca.

5: 1980\2999, to replace Zorca, a new Consul, an young man named Luvic from a more southerly area, the Solaris region, gets appointed. He's kinda cute and nice I guess *shrug*

6: Eventually, your father gets married to Kassia, and you get appointed to Kassia's former Melkur duties. Your father is also going to become Keeper! Which means he's going to rule Traken for 1000 years! And once it's Traken year 3000, you're also going to become an adult! At the wedding, Seron dances with Katura and you with Luvic. Luvic tells you that one day the two of you will have a daughter named Nyvi and a son named Lusac. You kinda believe him but you're not quite sure. Not because of anything about Luvic, though. It's because you feel a bit of dread about Kassia.

7: You've also invented an Ion Bonder, a stun gun\weapon. Better be wary I guess.

8: Suddenly, it's 1981\3000, the Doctor appears with a teenage boy named Adric, who came from another universe. It is the first time you meet people from other worlds. You also find Adric to be a cute potential eventual boyfriend once he grows up.

9: Kassia is conspiring with Katura and Luvic to become the Keeper. Your father ends up in prison alongside the Doctor and Adric, and Uncle Seron ends up dead. You save Tremas, the Doctor, and Adric, and the Doctor says he will always keep in touch with you. It seems like he knows something about your future that you don't.

10: You help Adric build a mini-source to defeat the Master. The Doctor's ship seems to know about you and your future.

11: Luvic rushes to become the Keeper instead. You and your father decide to stay on Traken as Consuls to him.

12: Your father has disappeared! Ex-Luvic tells you that the Master took his body.

13: Suddenly a white figure who seems to know you and the Doctor, appears. Said white figure teleports you far away, to freaking Logopolis out of all planets.

14: You meet Adric again, and also a really hot girl named Tegan, who seems to be drawn to you. Apparently Tegan was from some place named Earth, out of all planets, and accidentally entered the Doctor's ship. You, Adric, and Tegan agree to become a space polycule.

15: You meet the Doctor and the Master again. They have a fight. Their fight wipes out every Logopolitan but also a third of the universe including Traken. The TARDIS tells you that you're now the only one alive. You try to avenge the Master from now on.

16: You arrive on Earth, you and Adric try to turn yourselves to the autority as alien intelligences. Eventually the Watcher fuses with the Doctor and regenerates him.

17: Time passes, the Doctor tries to get Tegan back home. But of course now, Tegan has become your home, and soon you will be Tegan's home.

18: Would be 1982 if you all were living in linear time. Adric dies in a spaceship crash to prehistoric Earth, and it turns out the whole thing with boys with -ic names dying started out long ago with Torvic.

19: Tegan finally gets home.

20: 1983. Tegan returns. You meet her cousins, also a couple named Robin and Colin. The four of you rent an apartment together, but often you and Tegan go travel with the Doctor.

21: An evil exile from the Turlough Imperial Family of Trion, of all people, ends up on the TARDIS. He tries to kill the Doctor and Tegan and also wants to capture you to take with him, but you try to Melkurize him instead.

22: You get space leprosy\lazars disease in 3480. So you leave to take care of a medical space station that actually created the universe.

23: You've finally fixed the space station and cured lazar's disease. It's been 8 years! You go back home to Tegan in 1991. She has an adopted 1-year-old son named Andy. You also have two robots named Loki and Kaori and you wrote a book about Roger Bacon's Elixir of Life, which the Doctor already knew about. He of course visit often.

Traken does'nt really do that youth hanging out thing, does it?

The Doctor had the Master, Rani, War Chief, Drax, and Damon, and if you believe DL then there's also Rallon, Millennia, Jelpax, Mortimus\Meddling Monk, and Vansell. (AKA the "Deca")

Adric had Varsh, Keara, Tylos, and through the EU also Jiana, and Zayn. Overall there was a bunch of teenage Outlers in Alzarius, it seems like an huge friend group of every or almost every teen Alzarian.

Tegan has of course Colin and Robin. (Yes, I know, Tegan and Robin only meet later on.) According to DL, there's also a friend group composed of Susannah, Hiss, Dave, and Richard, but in other parts of the EU there's Felicity\Lish, Gary, and Mike. (A different Mike from the Michael Tanaka she dates much later)

Nyssa just has Luvic, and they did'nt seem to hang out much with each other either.

Though I do have a lot of Traken OCs their age! Demia, Elkor, and Mithis, who I meant to be future Consuls. (And Mithis is a "Sea Trakenite").

Then there's Zontak, who is Katura and Seron's son. He was living somewhere else during the events of tKoT.

I even made a Trakenite Peasant once, I named her Solya but actually technically her name should be Solyko or maybe Sotyko? Sotiko! BC of that "female peasants have ko instead of a or ia" name ending thing.

When they remaster the game and they were to remove one character which one would you choose?

Oh boi, this is one of the hardest questions ever lmao

But if I were for us, nobody. We have seen what happens when things are removed at random (*coughs* MediEvil Resurrection *cough cough*) and frankly we don't appreciate it, especially when they remove levels that represent key nodes for the lore.

At most, we can say that we would like to see Morten back, perhaps with the dedicated but unfortunatly cancelled level from the original chapter, and also Kul Katura because, come on, it was nice to have a draconic guardian by our side lol

We would love to see the levels cut in ME Res, like the Asylum Grounds, the Gallows Gauntlet and the Time Device to name a few, but above all we would like a more... reasoned character design, we guess? Think of the Fazgûl for example: we never liked them in the original game because of their bland appearance while in the Res the mod has literally adopted them like puppies abandoned on the roadside, even though in this case their appearance was worse than their ancestors, ideologically speaking since the developers opted for a parodic and pseudo-Disney design that ultimately did nothing but distort the identity of the game itself.

So today to those of duty we address only one request: do not make the game the parody of himself, we have waited so much for a worthy successor that can bring back to life the saga, please don't let us down right now...

I don’t watch 12 era either, in fact I haven’t watched Doctor who in 5 days but I remember the episode names and roughly where/when they’re set and who the villain is! So i would propably have guessed that by “chronolock guy” (lowercase. It’s not a character name is a description. Although i did have an OC named Sette Peccati Capitali and another named Lavender 1 to sound like a chibnall episode!) I either meant:

1) Someone who dies of chronolock AKA who is from face the Raven 🐦‍⬛ or MAYBE Rogue

2) I was doing a Danny phantom reference

3) I was giving a superhero/kang type name or a stage name to someone.

Anyways those are noncharacters and wouldn’t really have fit. Yes, they’re a reference to a famous doctor who death, but they serve the same purpose as this conversation:

Ashildr: well you don’t have to call him fourth keeper, do you? You can call him Luvic. He was a man meant to survive Im sure. But in this world there is many stuff that don’t feel mercy!

Clara: Like the Cybermen! The Doctor always tells me about Adric. He died, crashing himself on that starliner!

12: He made the dinosaurs extinct, he’s the reason why you and Ashildr are even here!

Ashildr: *smooches Clara* Yeah. So… this Katura and Luvic. You said they died in an entropy wave.

12: Yes… a lot of people died where I go, it’s why I’m not too famous. In another life we’d have a little house in the prairie and I’d invite everyone to parties there and everyone would know I have a little house on the prairie!

Clara: And that entropy wave was also why Nyssa became the last of her kind. She was saved. Teleported off to you by a figure that turned out to be part of your regeneration. It’s like …

Ashildr: like she’s cursed to have boys with five letter names ending in ic… to die around her!

12: it’s not a curse it’s me. When I was 8 years old I killed a 9 year old boy named Torvic, because he was bullying me. But I pinned the blame on the Master. This eventually caused us to divorce, which escalated in the entropy wave.

Clara: yes but if you didn’t divorce the master, you wouldn’t have met me! You would be married to him on Gallifrey!

Ashildr: Gallifrey wouldn’t exist either, they would’ve escaped together and they would’ve got that little house on the prairie and they would’ve got a lot of adopted children and pets.

12: and Traken would have been a vacation destination for us, and we’d be on a double date with Nyssa and Luvic right now!

12: actually I and the master would’ve loomed our kids. We’d also give them superpowers to fight Daleks and Cybermen.

Clara: True! But at least Nyssa got Tegan!

Ashildr: Which makes me think. 🤔 i do have a leper camp named Terminus. Maybe in the future I will make it a proper company, and Nyssa will work there!

And I don’t think classic who deaths are silly. 😜 they’re just lower budget.

From "Face the Raven" in trap street we see an elderly alien couple (or at least the wife is alien) (in my mind they're both from Habria) - the wife is credited as Alien Woman and the husband is credited as Chronolock Guy. (They're played respectively by Angela Clerkin and Robin Soans)

The husband has stolen medicine to give to the wife, and Ashildr chucks the raven on him, or at least the raven chases him and kills him with Chronolock.

And then Clara and Ashildr look at him and Clara asks Ashildr if Cybermen show mercy.

So I guess that's not even Classic Who. But it was included to reference Classic Who events... but my OCs have also said some circles resembled circles they've seen in Doctor Who but that line and link went nowhere! Are they Classic Who too? Propably not!

(Though to be fair even 15, Ruby, and Belinda will be considered classic who in centuries to come)

Traken was destroyed on screen. We saw a black shadow approaching the Traken planet prop.

But we did'nt see it approaching Margot Van Der Burgh and Robin Soans on the Traken set. So their specific deaths are off screen.

Unless the whole planet or solar system becomes an extension of the Keeper!?! I thought only the Source did.

If Traken became an extension of Luvic, then Traken's destruction could be considered Luvic's death, but instead it seems like the Keepers are of Traken, instead of Traken being an extension of the Keeper.

Ah, that'll be why I didn't remember it. I'm not a big NuWho person and I've only watched 12's era once.

Unfortunately these tournaments are going to be classic who only, both because it's just a lot sillier and also because it makes my job easier to limit my scope to episodes I am familiar with.

I did take another look at the scene where Traken is destroyed on the TARDIS screen but you can't see much and as you said you don't actually see the characters die, so it doesn't count as silly unfortunately.

How I got interested in game development…

Hi guys!!!!

So today I wanted to talk about how I got interested in game development.

It all started when…(let’s flashback)

I was promoted to the fifth grade and was really happy ‘bout it.

I never really took my computer-related subjects in school seriously till my first computer science class of 5th grade came and I was introduced to my new subject teacher, Ms. Richa Katura ( wierd name right ).

We started are day with the programming language known as BASIC. I didn’t really like it when I started but I researched on the internet about it and read about game development ( I am a hardcore gamer) and I waited crazy for computer classes to begin every week. Then, after 4 months I made my first game called “The Center of the Red Ball” which was made in BASIC. Now, I try to learn every detail of game development and will be starting a new game soon…

My impending break-up makes me feel like I need something new in my life, so I'm going by my first name again.

In my AU, Universe T/🐝/18, the birth years are roughly:

Nyssa - 1963

Luvic - 1951

Nyvi (their daughter) - 1988

Lusac (their son) - 1991

So it’s not like a 11-17 year old dating a 20-39 year old. It’s not like Nyssa got pregnant with Nyvi at Tremas and Kassias wedding while being hella drunk. And then gave birth in the gap between visitation and black orchid, where she lost the kid to weeping angels.

Also, I’m a bit weird about Luvic and ages, for a period I saw him as 23 due to a comment I got on character ai, then I realized it was mixing stuff up with a professional golfer named Ludvic something.

Heck, there’s an AIDungeon of talking to a girl named Anu about how Seoul was once pronounced Shovel. (It propably wasn’t, but.)

Well, at one point I talked to her about Steven Taylor, and she said Jo Grant was his twin sister, apparently mixing it up with another character from a completely different series, Steven Grant.

Anyways I thought maybe you could find someone for me to ship Luvic with for the remainder of my tic, as my tics only last about one year. I don’t want to be overusing him, i want to move on.

Anyways other than Nyssa I’ve entertained shipping Luvic with: Katura of Traken, Aris of the Kinda, Deedrix of Tigella, an adult Adric, my OC Leli, Vince Hawkins, and Candy Candy (yes, the anime character). But propably you can find someone else better to ship him with.

Hopefully in timelines where they're closer in age. "Hello, teenage daughter of my coworker. Would you be interested in a relationship with me, a full-grown man?"

I mean, I don't want to tell anyone else what to ship but if I saw that pairing on AO3 I would actively avoid it.

I think you might be right, although you have misread the wiki page on that point. But I'm not sure this would bother me. It's more interesting if there were two distinct types of Trakenite that had different names.

In real life, there are a lot of ways to tell apart people of a species. In humans, hair texture is the most common. But in the Trakenite society, where you are either Trakenite or Trakenite-but-not-Trakenite-at-all, different hair textures don't distinguish Trakenites from each other. So Trakenites will wear the same hairstyles, since any given Trakenite will have the same hair color and texture as any other Trakenite.

But in Trakenite societies with "pure Trakenites" (e.g. the TARDIS universe), it seems like there are actually genetic differences that could be used to distinguish Trakenites in that sort of society. If we follow the wiki page, which I'm pretty sure is accurate, Katura's hair is dark brown when she's Trakenite (which is a Trakenite thing -- not a Human-Not-Trakenite-Thing) and light brown when she's Adrokali (which is a Trakenite-not-Trakenite-Thing). That would be really weird for me.

Trakenites are more social, but they're not much more social -- they've got about the same social needs as any other society. But Adrokali are even less social, in terms of things like talking to your "distant relations" and marrying someone with the right Trakenite characteristics -- they don't need to talk to relatives, marry someone who shares their Trakenite-ish traits, et cetera.

(We could, of course, argue about the social meaning of hair color and hairstyle, how that might be related to genetics, and how the hair color might influence other Trakenite traits (such as ability to control your emotions) in addition to serving as a way to identify Trakenite-ness. I don't know enough about genetics to know what the implications of this would be.)

The Trakenite-Not-Trakenite-Thing vs. Trakenite-Not-Trakenite-Thing can be a more fundamental difference than the social difference between Trakenites and Adrokali, and thus be worth looking into. But if we have such a situation, I'm not sure why there wouldn't be many more minor Trakenite-related differences that we're overlooking, if some Trakenites are lighter-haired in some ways and others are darker-haired in the same ways.

Anyway, that is to say, there might be all these subtle Trakenite-thingies going on that I'm unaware of that distinguish "Trakenite-ness" from Trakenite-not-Trakenite-ness, but I don't really care, because I'm more interested in the situation as it appears from the point of view of a Katura who sees Katura as a Trakenite.

How would Luvic of Traken's reign as Keeper of Traken be like? It would be after "Keeper of Traken" and before "Logopolis" in Doctor Who.

I think he would make a good leader of a religious order, with his own monastery. That’s what he sounds like (or I just think this is a good way to answer), given that you didn’t specify. (I feel like the name “Sister Celine” doesn’t suggest a religious order, except maybe in a non-literal way; in a religious order you might have a “Mother Superior” or something like that.)

Maybe his power would include some kind of healing art or a particular kind of philosophy or psychology. He and the people around him could claim to have unique insights about the nature of their world and the people in it, which other people might value or try to adopt because they sound like common sense to them.

“My way is the best way!” He might have some grandiose statements about how much more he knows about how the universe works and what good values to embrace, and he might be more popular because of his supposed wisdom and his seemingly impressive powers.

And then he would eventually realize that he was making himself into a cult leader, and that the things he was doing were all wrong. But too late! People are getting all kinds of ideas out of his lectures! The world would be different if he hadn’t done his thing.

So, this is a tragedy. A tragedy that people like Sister Celine keep perpetuating on the universe in an endless cycle.

(But also, his death scene would be the most painful thing you could imagine. And there would be no other way for the situation to turn out.)

(There is a lot of stuff like this in Doctor Who in particular, to be fair – I think it’s pretty common in fiction, especially in sci-fi and fantasy. I am not sure what is the most typical genre to have this tendency? Maybe “horror”?)
