Losing you
Pairing: König x  f!Reader ( OC aka “Mini” MacTavish )  Summary: Nothing shakes him, even facing enemies on the battlefield. Until he gets the call. Part of König's route in Mini MacTavish verse.
A/N : Part of @saltofmercury ’s ““The Favorite MacTavish” , where the reader/OC is Soap’s little sister. Thanks to her kindness leading me her character :D
“masterlist” for more stories to this Mini MacTavish expanded verse.

König couldn’t stop the shake in his hands when dialling the number to his brother in law. “I heard. We are on our way.” Soap picked up and answered in one ring. Short and yet to the point. König can hear the noises and banging sound in the background and he rushes towards the transporter himself.
“PA.” König was shocked when he heard his son’s voice and not yours when he picked up the call on his burner phone. During the time you two are together and married, never once you rang or message him on the burner phone. No news is good news.
“Alex?”
“Pa…Ma.. Ma….. she..” “Deep breath son, What is going on?” König tries his best to calm his son down, or trying to calm himself down as well?? Why is his son ringing him instead of you? What is going on?
The news of you being in an accident sent König reeling. His Liebling. His love. When he got to the hospital, Soap and Ghost were already there, standing outside the entrance of the ICU, doing their best to comfort their nephew. “PA!” Alex ran towards his dad, not able to contain emotion anymore. Bending down to scoop his boy into his embrace, doing his best not to cry together with him.
“I’m sorry Pa I’m so sorry.. I couldn’t protect Ma like I promised..” Alex burst out crying in his father’s hold, apologising again and again. König closed his eyes, the amount of expectation he had put on his young boy to look after his mother while he was away, and now the guilt eating him up. He felt bad putting the pressure onto him. “Shh.. Sh.. It's ok, You did well. You have done well boy..” patting his back, kissing him lightly on the head, trying to let his son know he isn’t the one to blame. “What’s her condition? Can I go in and see her?” König holds his son, rocking him gently, anxious to know the update as Soap comes up to him.
“Critical but stable.” He lowered his head and pressed his lip tight together before letting out a sigh and ruffling his own mohawk, “They had to revive her twice. Not quite sure how much damage that has done to her.”
From the corner of his eyes, he saw Ghost talking to his wife, still in her PPE gear, discussing something in hush and low voice, with him nodding his head, brows furrowed. She noticed Konig out of the corner of her eyes, and called out to him.
“König,” Rachel jerked her head, indicating him to come up towards her. He stood up, adjusting his hold of his son while he walked towards her.
“We have to put her in an induced coma,” eyeing the boy, and looking at the two men she paused. König whispered to his son, Alex nodded his head before giving his dad a tight hug and a kiss, before being passed over to Ghost. Giving him a pat on the back, Ghost took the boy towards the cafeteria. Leaving the three adults to talk alone.
“Johnny probably told you, we had to resuscitate her twice already.” Staying as professional as she could, not letting her emotions get involved, “I am sorry to be the bearer of the bad news König, we are doing the best we can. But for the moment, only time will tell.”
Leading both of them into the ICU, passing by few of the other patients and towards your bedside. It took every ounce of König’s determination not to kneel and breakdown as he finally saw you, batter and bruised, a deep gash on the side of your head, the shallow rising and falling of your chest and constant beeping of machine, is his only reassurance that you are still alive, on this world.
“We’ll take Alex home, König. You stay here with her tonight.” Soap fatigue and stress evident in his eyes
Not trusting his own voice, König grabbed Soap’s arm firmly, as a sign of gratitude, Soap took one last look at his sister and left the ICU. König sat there with you for days, and nights. Watching you silently fighting for your life. Family and team mates taking turns to come and check on König and your recovery progress. This is the moment he is grateful that his family and brother in arms are there to help him out.
“It was hard. Not knowing when you were going to wake up or not.”“ I thought I had lost my big teddy bear… the only man I love…” He thought back to your words, when he recovered from his battle injury. Now he understand that uncertainty, the despair, The fear. The fear of losing you forever.

My Snatcher playlists! (not cannon snatcher, just my own interpretation of him)
Okay so uh…Snatcher’s music taste depends on his current mood/emotions. Although my interpretation of Snatcher is an INTJ, he’s still very emotionally driven. So I’ve sorted the songs I associate with him into separate categories so it doesn’t sound like constant emotional whiplash 😅
So essentially, “pick your poison” on which to listen to. Because there’s SO MANY SONGS I don’t think you can listen to all of them in one sitting ;)
Songs that make him feel confident + like a masculine smooth criminal lol (this is his default music taste btw):
-oh it’s you
-Feeling Good (Michael bublé version)
-Death of a Bachelor (Michael bublé)
-Dancing in the Moonlight *both versions work with him
-Cupid Shuffle *FOR WHATEVER REASON LOL
-Still feel alive (half alive)
-So caught up (the teskey brothers)
-Let’s groove tonight TikTok version
-My girl (The Temptations)
-Haunted heart (Christina Aguilera)
-k.k cruisin’ jazz band version
-5pm animal crossing new horizons
- still alive big band version (Portal song)

His “f*** you Vanessa” playlist + edgy playlist :

-cradles (sub urban)
-mind games (sickick)
-Kill the lights (set it off)
-everything black (Unlike Pluto)
-idfc (blackbear)
His depression playlist (WARNING…depressing is not an over exaggeration. Some of these songs dive into dark topics and others are very emotionally charged. Please avoid listing to these if you aren’t in the right mental space to handle songs discussing death and toxic/failed relationships):
-Evil Queen (Snøw)
-Buy the Stars (Marina and the Diamonds)
-Sadness runs though him (The Hoosiers)
-Fix it to break it (Clinton Kane)
-The Grave (Kate Vogel)

Hamliza Month, Day 29
@megpeggs @historysalt
Nap Summary: Alexander comes home to the Grange to find that things aren’t entirely as he left them.
The Grange was such a welcome sight, Alexander thought as he stepped out of the barn. The trip had not been an overly long one, but it had still been highly unwelcome. He had not wanted to leave Eliza or the children, but there had been no avoiding it. Still, at least he was home now. With the gig put up and the horse comfortably settled, there was nothing to stop him from entering the house and rejoining his family – the only place he wanted to be, and the only people he cared to see.
As he approached the house, however, he heard the sound of children laughing coming from the garden. Smiling, Alexander bypassed the front door and took the path around to the back of the house. There, he found five of his children. Alex had Liza by her hands and was swinging her around in circles, much to her delight, if her thrilled shrieks were any indication. James was on the ground not too far away, clearly having been wrestling with William, who now sat atop his brother with a triumphant grin. Johnny was also present, but was seated under a tree, his head bent over a book.
That just left Eliza, Angelica, and little Phil unaccounted for. Angelica, he knew, had gone to Albany to visit her grandparents, but surely Eliza would be out here with the rest of the children? Though autumn was rapidly approaching – he would need to begin the preparations for them to move into their house in the city soon – the air was still plenty warm enough. Surely there was no need to worry about the baby catching a cold?
“Well, well,” he called to his children, “here you are, quite the merry party! May I join you, or is this by invitation only?”
All five of them immediately froze at the sound of his voice. Alex lowered Liza safely to the grass, and she promptly leapt back up to her feet and threw herself toward Alexander. William also abandoned his position on top of James and raced to him. Even Johnny put his book down to come and greet him.
Alexander laughed as he swept Liza up into his arms, and he ruffled William’s already unruly hair after settling her on his hip. His three older sons approached at a slower pace, one they likely thought was more dignified than the excited leaping about of the younger children. Oh, how eager they are to be perceived as men instead of boys, Alexander thought fondly.
“Welcome home, Papa,” James greeted. Alex and Johnny echoed the welcome.
“I’m very glad to be home, my lambs,” he responded. Pressing a kiss to Liza’s temple, Alexander glanced around at their surroundings. “Where are your mother and little Phil?”
Alex and James shared a look, their expressions growing more serious, and Alexander straightened, growing concerned. When they didn’t respond immediately, he narrowed his eyes. “Boys?” he prodded, his tone growing sharp with warning.
It was William who spoke up before his brothers could. “Mama’s inside with the baby,” he told him. “Mama said we could play, but it had to be outside so Phil could sleep.”
“Oh, well, that’s not so bad, is it?” Babies napped all the time, after all. Still, James, Alex, and even Johnny now still had solemn expressions.
“Phil’s been crying all night,” Johnny said. “He won’t sleep. So Mama tries to get him to sleep during the day. She’s been upstairs most of the day with him. The doctor was here this morning.”
A nervous, painful knot began to form in Alexander’s stomach. “I see,” he said slowly. Was something wrong with Phil? Was he ill? Was that why Eliza had summoned Dr. Hosack? None of her letters had intimated that Phil was sick.
He gestured for Alex to take Liza from him, which, to the boy’s credit, he did without hesitation. “Why don’t you continue on here?” Alexander suggested. “I’ll go inside and check on your mother and Phil, and see about a little snack before supper.”
The suggestion of food gained him enthusiastic agreement from William and Liza, and even Johnny appeared interested, though he continued to do his best to imitate the more laid back, knowing reaction of his older brothers. Providing them with the most reassuring smile he could muster, Alexander then turned on his heel and made for the back door. As he hurried up the steps and entered the house, his thoughts raced.
Eliza had not had an easy time of it when she had been carrying Phil. Even before… Even before Philip’s death, her health had been precarious enough that Dr. Hosack visited several times a week. The dreadful blow of Philip’s sudden loss had been devastating enough that the physician had ordered her onto near total bed rest for the duration of the pregnancy. It had been nearly two months before they’d even been sure the baby was still alive.
When Phil was finally born, just shortly before Alexander had moved the whole family out to the Grange for the first time, the reactions had been nothing short of hysterical relief. Though the labor had been difficult, Eliza had come through it as well as could be expected. Phil had all the appearances of a healthy babe, and did not seem to have been harmed by the terrible shock his mother had suffered while she carried him.
As he made his way toward the front of the house, slipping through the yellow parlor to the front hall, Alexander spotted their hired girl, Nan, coming down the stairs from the second floor, carrying a large laundry basket.
“Mr. Hamilton,” she greeted when she spotted him as she reached the landing. “Welcome home, sir!”
Alexander managed a small smile for her, even as his eyes remained focused on the stairs. “Thank you, Nan. When you have a moment, could you ask Mrs. Georges if she would arrange a small snack for the children and bring it out to the garden please? It’s not too close to supper.”
Nan nodded and she turned the corner to take the steps down to the lower level of the house. “Of course, sir.”
That taken care of, Alexander started up the stairs, taking two at a time. Coming up to the landing, he immediately rounded the corner and hurried to the door to his and Eliza’s bedchamber. The door had been left slightly ajar. Placing his hand on the doorknob, Alexander took a deep, calming breath before pushing the door open.
His eyes immediately went to their bed. Eliza lay curled on her side, facing a large circle of pillows. Her eyes were open and focused upon the pillows, but then turned to him as he appeared in the room. Her dark eyes, which had faint dark circles around them, brightened and a small, weary smile came across her face. Slowly, she sat up, being careful not to jostle the bed as she moved. Standing up, she quietly moved a few pillows, enclosing the circle around the sleeping babe in the middle. She then made her way toward him, a finger pressing against her lips in the familiar warning to stay quiet. Alexander nodded, and then he followed her back out into the hallway.
Once the door was shut, he and Eliza moved back down the hallway, coming to stand before the large, ornate window at the front of the house. “What’s happened?” he demanded, taking care to keep his voice low. “Is he ill? Was that why Hosack was here today?”
Eliza blinked, surprised at being on the receiving end of a barrage of questions instead of the loving, tender greetings she was usually granted when he returned home. “What?”
“Phil,” Alexander elaborated, waving his hand back toward their bedchamber. “The children said he won’t sleep, that he cries all night. What’s wrong?”
She stared at him, and then sighed. “Oh, darling,” she said, taking her hands in his and squeezing them tightly. “Nothing is wrong. Nothing that can’t be mended, anyway.”
“What do you mean?”
Eliza looked around, and then nodded to two of the chairs that were situated outside of Angelica and Liza’s chamber. They settled down in them, hands still clasped, and she began to speak. “Phil hasn’t been sleeping well at night, in his crib,” she explained. “But he’ll sleep perfectly well during the day when I make a place for him in our bed. He’s also had a mild rash on his skin, which is why I sent for Dr. Hosack.” She glanced over her shoulder toward their bedchamber. “He thinks that Phil is having a bad reaction to something in his crib, perhaps the feathers in the mattress. The doctor gave me a salve for his skin, which is already helping. He’s sleeping even better in our bed than he normally has.”
Alexander took a deep, steady breath, considering his wife’s explanation. He knew that sometimes people did not react well to certain things in their daily lives. His brother, when they had been very young, had not been able to abide cow’s milk, though he had eventually outgrown that intolerance, much to their mother’s relief. Alexander had even heard of some ladies not being able to bear the sensation of certain fabrics or dried dyes on their skin.
“So, Phil will be all right, then?” he finally inquired.
Eliza smiled at him and raised a hand to his cheek, brushing her thumb over the skin. “Yes, dear. Dr. Hosack says that it is a mild reaction, though he recommended that we throw out the entire mattress and scrub the crib thoroughly before Phil sleeps in it again, to be safe.” Amusement flared in her eyes. “He sleeps very well in our bed, and seems to like your pillow the best. He always grabs onto it when he wakes.” Eliza laughed. “Perhaps he finds his papa’s scent soothing.”
A reflexive smile came to his lips in response to his wife’s laughter. Even now, it was a relief to hear her sound so happy, after all that she had endured.
They sat together like that for a few moments, content in one another’s presence, until Eliza said, “I should go and check on him. I think it helps him to rest if I’m there.”
“May I join you?” he asked impulsively, standing up as she did. When she stared at him, surprised, Alexander could feel his cheeks heating up a bit and he added, “It’s still some hours ‘til supper, and it’s been a long trip.” He smiled at her, feeling unaccountably shy for some reason. “I’ve missed you.”
Eliza’s eyes softened as she gazed at him, and then nodded. “Of course.” Tugging on his hand, she began to lead him back to their chamber. “Quietly, now,” she whispered.
Alexander shed his coat, waistcoat, and shoes as soundlessly as he could after they reentered their chamber, leaving them on a chair nearby. Eliza had already returned to the bed, resuming the same position she had been in when he had first come upon her. Alexander carefully climbed onto the other side, curling his body around the circle of pillows. This allowed him a clearer look at his tiny son. Phil’s skin did indeed have an unusual pink tint to it, and he could see a few raised spots, though thankfully, nothing that had the look of smallpox or any other such disease.
He didn’t reach out to touch the sleeping babe, though he dearly wanted to, if just to reassure him of his continued health and existence. Alexander turned his head toward Eliza, and found that she wasn’t looking at Phil, but at him, her expression gentle and loving. Silently, she reached out with the hand that was closest to him, the one outside of the pillow circle. Alexander grasped it without hesitation, holding onto her as tightly as he could. Then, as one, they turned their eyes back toward the fragile life between them, their last child.
We are here, my little one, Alexander thought. We are here, and we love you. Stay with us.

Does your family have any Christmas traditions? We go to mass on Christmas Eve evening and open presents at midnight. We also go to a certain relative’s house to have monito-monita and occasionally family who have moved abroad will come back to visit; and in the last few years we’ve also been going to my mom’s brother’s place because they also throw a Christmas party. Have you been to Mount Rushmore? No. How many of the United States have you been to? Zero. Where's your ideal vacation spot? Somewhere not too flashy or tourist-y and with a lot of culture and cuisine and things to learn, like Morocco. What meal can you absolutely not stand? Sinigang.
Would you rather live in Idaho, Siberia, or the Australian outback? Siberia. I think I’d find the scenery and the cold weather soothing. The remoteness of the outback would make me go insane in a few days, and I don’t know much about Idaho to want to live there. What's the weather outside like? It’s midnight so it’s a bit colder than how blistering the heat is during the day. It’s not January levels of cold anymore, but I’m still content. Do you (over)use emoticons? Nah I’m a little frugal with them these days. I’ve observed that people will find you too nice and thus find it easier to step all over you if you use too many emojis or emoticons, so over the years I’ve really cut down on them lol. Easier to establish myself as ~alpha that way. Do you get paranoid that someone's looking at your through your window? Yeah absolutely, even if my room is on the second floor. That’s why I like having my blinds pulled all the way down. Do you sleep with the door open, kinda open, or completely closed? Completely closed. What color would you dye your hair if you HAD to? Dark green. What phrase/word do you tend to use a lot? “Yeah dude” when with friends. Right now I’m also using ‘sis’ or ‘ma’am’ a lot when referring to anyone, lol. What grade did you get on your last major test? We were able to take a few exams but we never got the results back because the quarantine threw our academic schedule way off. What color was your Gameboy Color? I didn’t have my own because I never played video games myself, but my cousin had a purple Gameboy Advance and I just used to watch him play all the time. How many piercings do you have? Two. Surprisingly they’ve never closed up considering I haven’t hung earrings in them in more than a decade. Mountains, oceans, or forests? Right now, oceans. Both the schools I’ve attended are technically forests, and my city is already mountainous. A break from both and a trip to the beach would be perfect right now. Have you colored in a coloring book since age 10? I’ve enjoyed coloring books since I was 5, I think. If that’s what you mean. How many times have you moved/changed houses? Three. My parents lived in an apartment for some time, then they moved to my dad’s family in Tondo so that my paternal grandma can take care of me, then when I was 2 we transferred to our current city but this time to move in with my mom’s family, so my maternal grandma could take care of me, then a decade later we moved to our present house, just a village away. When was the last time you "de-haired" your hairbrush? I use a comb, which doesn’t have to be ~dehaired. Blistering cold or boiling hot weather? COLD. Fuckkkkkk the heat. I hate sweating, I hate feeling sticky, and I hate how bright the sun is and how uncomfortable it makes me. Earbuds or headphones? Earbuds. I did have my headphones phase as a teenager though. What was the last movie you saw in theatres? Knives Out. Hated every minute of it, but I did it for Gab.
Do you have any friends that are from out of country? There were people I was friends with before they migrated, with promises of keeping touch yadda yadda – but the distance has ultimately made the friendships dissipate. This was me with people like Raegan, Chrissy, Aubrey, Andi, Angel, etc. who all moved to either the US or Canada. No one’s fault, shit really just be like that sometimes. Do you want Obama to serve a second term in 2012? I think he did, right? What's your lucky number? Does it ever grant any luck? I don’t believe in luck but my go-to number is 4, just because. Not really. Do you take showers so hot, your skin turns pink? Mmmm no not really. I can handle hot showers/baths but nothing that changes my skin color. How old were you when you got chicken pox? I...‘ve never had it yet :( I think of this at least once a week, lmao. Are you afraid that you'll get swine flu? 2009 passed and I didn’t so. Are any of your great grandparents still alive? I think so? We don’t talk about famlly a lot but I think I’ve heard my dad talk about his grandma. Alex Trebek or Bob Barker? Alex Trebek for sure. Wii, Playstation 3, or XBOX 360? These are all virtually vintage now but I’ll always have a connection with the Wii. What's your sexual orientation? No clue most days, but I say demisexual when I’m asked so that I don’t get the confused looks if I do say that I don’t identify as anything. How tall are you? A little over five feet. Who/what are you obsessed with currently? Videos from BuzzFeed Tasty. But I only watch the stuff with Andrew, Andrew and Steven (for Worth It), Rie, Niki, and Alvin. The others haven’t really won me over just yet. Have you had any snow days this year? We don’t have those at all. Do you need to clip your nails? Not right now, no. Could you go for a dip in the jacuzzi right now? I’ll pass. What's your favorite TV show? Friends for the laughs, Breaking Bad for more serious content. How much do you weigh? I haven’t checked but I’m consistently in the 90-99 lbs range. Have you ever consumed alcohol? Do you still/are you going to? I mean yeah. My first sip was almost four years ago. I definitely still am drinking to this day lol. What color are your eyes? Dark brown. Do you have full or thinner lips? They’re a bit full when closed but when I smile, my upper lip thins up. Which of the Pirates of the Carribean's was your favorite? I was never into the series. Is Johnny Depp really the hottest man alive? No. Do you have Windows 7? No I don’t. Brownies or cake? Right now I could go for brownies. My mom looooooooves cakes so we always have a box in the fridge, so I’m a little tired of them by now. What did you get for your last birthday? My mom treated me to lunch at a Japanese place and in the evening Angela took me out for Yabu and a date in Timezone. Where's your significant other? She’s at home reading, but she’s also on the line with me right now. Do you press the delete key or the backspace key to get rid of a mistake? Well the backspace key is called delete in Mac keyboards so I dunno how to answer this. How much blankets do you sleep under? Just one. You don’t need more than that in this weather.

Pleasantview +25 years recap
Pleasantview +25 years is my attempt at joining all my favorite families through out the franchise in one save. I've spent about four days in creating over 45 families that populate all of the worlds I have in The Sims 4. And when I say I created them, I actually mean I downloaded them from the gallery. =//) I'm not particularly good at creating Sims... Willow Creek are only Pleasantview Sims, Oasis Springs are mostly Strangetown Sims, Newcrest are mostly rich Sims from all the games, San Myshuno is everyone I didn't know where to locate them, mostly single Sims, and Banacle Bay are the creative and LGBT Sims. I also really need to thank @homijoh for sharing her rule set with us some time ago. I loved it and I'm using it for this rotational game play. For more information (I warn you, A LOT of Information since I tell a thing or two about every family) look behind the cut!
Willow Creek:
Broke I Household: Brandi, Beau and Skip Junior – Brandi never remarried and did an okay job at raising three boys on her own.
Broke II Household: Dustin, Angela, Susan, Mitch, Melinda, Brad – Dustin had got Angela pregnant as a teen and from that day on, their relationship went downhill. Why they are still together? Probably because of their four children.
Burb Household: John, Jennifer, Michael – Michael is the recreation of a son the Burbs had once in my game. Never forgot him =)
Dreamer Household: Dirk, Lilith, Hugo, Irmi – Hugo and Irmi are twins and their parent's whole proud.
Dreamer-Goth Household: Darren, Cassandra, Manuel, Daniela, Dorothee – After a bad divorce from Don Lothario, Cassandra found true love in Darren Dreamer and they had two girls. Darren took her son with Don in, like his own flesh.
Goth Household: Alexander, Lucy, Agatha – Alex and Lucy are too buzy with their career to care for their only daughter Agatha.
Goth-Caliente Household: Dina, Nina, Simon, Enrique – Dina inherited Goth Manor from her decreased husband Mortimer and took her sister and nephew in.
Langerak-Pleasant Household: Daniel, Kaylynn, Trina, Zelda – After leaving Mary-Sue for the Maid, Daniel wouldn't have thought to ever hear teenage girls fight again, yet here he is!
Lothario Household: Don, Bianca – Don was a d*ck to women and here he is, estranged from his two sons. After an abduction by aliens and the birth of his daughter Bianca Don suddenly saw clear regarding his sexuality.
Oldie Household: Mary-Sue is divorced and moved back in with her parents. Since 25 years she's bickering with her elderly mother.
Oasis Springs:
Beaker Household: Loki, Circe, Atom, Ceres – With his clone children Loki could save Circe from a pregnancy and yet have his perfect family!
Curious Household: Pascal, Vidcund, Lazlo, Crystal, Tycho, Techna, Erik, Marie – Crystal has no idea how she managed to live with her brothers in law and their strange kids for over 20 years.
Grunt Household: Ripp, Buck, Jill, Ralf – People say the older sibling should be responsible for the younger siblings. Tell that Ripp Grunt...
Landgraab Household: Nancy, Geoffrey, Malcolm – Just the normal Sims 4 Landgraab family.
Loner Household: Ajay, Erin, Vincent, Linus – Ajay married Erin Beaker and had two boys with her.
Roomies Household: Zoe, Mitchel, J, Gavin – Just the normal Sims 4 Roomies household.
Smith Household: Johnny, Ophelia, Sally, Ginny, Ben, Dora – The only problem of this family is, which of the girls should share their room with their baby sister.
Zugovich Household: A family introduced in the Sims pet stories. Just a little gag to add some fresh blood.
Newcrest:
Alto Household: Holly II, Don, Trenton – My interpretation is, that the Holly Alto from DS is the daughter of the Holly Alto from The Sims 3. Trenton is a Sim from Lunar Lakes.
Capp Household: Juliette, Romeo, Cleo, Linea – Juliette married her big love, she had her happy ending with her Romeo.
Jacquet Household: Gilbert, Florence, Sébastian – I never really shipped those two, but I wanted to include both.
Summerdream Household: Bottom, Hal, Fiona – Hal and Bottom usually end up together in my game and make a decent couple.
Worthington Household: Frances J- III, Joyce, Frances J. IV – Frances has his trophy wife and a beautiful daughter to keep the name alive.
San Myshuno:
Bunch Household: Mary – Mary is a descendant of the Sunset Valley Bunches.
Elson Household: Craig II – Craig is named after his great-grandfather from Starlight Shores.
Fair-weather Friends Household: Keiko, Mateo, Anthony, Holly – Just the household form the gallery.
Gieke Household: Chester, Testee – Chester lives a life in retreat with his alien daughter.
Inkbeard Household: Opal, Jane – Opal is a descendant of the Barnacle Bay Inkbeard family and Jane is her wife.

I was working on backstory fic for the Wilson family before my phone was replaced and now it’s erased lol and I’m not gonna rewrite the entire thing so uhhh here’s the summary
Alma’s a Mexican immigrant, lost her mom before her family left, she lived with her dad and three brothers named Javier, Pablo, and Carlos. She’s the youngest but the strongest and smartest, she moved around a lot before her family settled in riverview and met Alex’s dad in high school. Andrew’s parents got divorced when he was really young and he developed anxiety that started out as test anxiety and grew into social anxiety and performance anxiety, defined by serious panic attacks he had in middle school. He was great at sports, knew soccer, baseball, and basketball with the latter being his main sport in mid/high school. The two started dating in high school, went to different colleges, and got married shortly after they got their careers set up with alma as a vet and Andrew doubling as a school counselor and therapist. Marianna is the first, she grew up knowing Johnny and they both played together in her mom’s vet office and one year for johnny’s birthday they got him a dog from the shelter (now Indiana) with John’s help and permission. Marianna was one of the first people to know Johnny was trans and helped support him all through high school, they were best friends with Harry, johnnys boyfriend in high school at the time, and Marianna was a cheerleader and photographer/main yearbook editor for several years. When Harry left for college and time passed a little, Marianna and Johnny had a brief fling in college that didn’t last only cuz they were better friends bordering on a sibling bond than they were at dating. Marianna studied primarily photography with some journalism and is a freelance photographer typically for events like graduations or weddings. When she joins the gang in magic, mabuz and Johnny give her a magic lasso and teach her to use/fight with it.
Stella is the third child, not much about her. She’s really fascinated in magic especially after she finds out it’s real. Probably best friends with marlin and mo’s kids. She wants to learn magic even if she isn’t born with any of it. Really curious, bubbly, loud, loves all animals like alma and Alex. Clumsy. Loves to draw and loves pink
Aaaaaaaaand Alex. Oh Alex. Middle child, really timid unlike his sisters, real sensitive and emotional kid. Bullied in kindergarten but Beth defended him with what everyone would later realize was a burst of her powers. He joined her and heather in playing as kids until heather split, and Alex stayed with Beth. Alex managed to develop other friends in middle school while Beth couldn’t, though he always maintained she was his best friend even when he developed a crush on her. It didn’t go far tho because Beth got a crush on Travis Middleton who did bully her in grade school but was getting nicer with age. As Beth became more depressed in high school, Alex tried to help but there seemed to be more going on with her than he knew and he didn’t know what to do. When she died, he got badly depressed, withdrew from his other friends and his activities of baking and art, music, gaming, animals, sports, all of it. He couldn’t let go of the fact that he didn’t save her. He withdrew from his family too, though less so than his other school mates. Travis once tried to offer condolences and Alex snapped at him in front of everyone, saying he didn’t know anything about her and letting out a repressed jealousy. Heather invited Alex to a party later on to get him to be social again (and get him to like her after Travis broke up with her) and he instead broke down at the party and left. Time and opening up was what he needed and was struggling with until Beth decided she could trust him with the truth that she was back as a ghost. They started their friendship over again and Alex eventually, finally, got the courage to tell Beth he loved her and dated her. This was short cut when merhib caught word and intervened while Alex went to buy Beth a gift: a crystal heart. Merhib crashed an empty car with his mind into the one Marianna and Alex was in, though neither died. Merhib wanted Alex dead, so he controlled Alex’s neck to snap it with the same power he used for the crash. Dead, Alex returned in the upsidedown (much to the continued frustration of merhib, with a kid who didn’t seem to go away, until he put a curse on him so he couldn’t escape upside). Alex was taken care of by Thomas and Marion while trapped, on a side plot sort of thing compared to the main plot on upside, where the three were trying to find a way to get Alex out and back to Beth. This didn’t work until one lucky breakthrough, and it was only temporary. He was sent back a few days later, but was able to reveal himself to Beth and his family. Sucked back, Marianna vowed to join in the magic world for the sake of her brother and friends and Beth made a final deal with merhib to protect all those she loved in exchange for whatever he wanted from her, including rescuing Alex from the upsidedown for good. Now able to roam freely, Alex mainly lives alone in his own home in the upsidedown as a pet sitter for normal and abnormal pets alike and sometimes helped his mom at the vet disguised as still alive
That’s the basic summary!! I’d also like to think before he was saved and returned to living with his family upside, he lived with either Thomas or Marion. When he felt old enough to move out from his childhood home is when he went back to the upsidedown for the sake of ease of fitting in there better than upside

The characters are a big part of why Mortal Kombat has lasted over twenty-five years. Across the eleven main entries of the series, Mortal Kombat has featured a plethora of unique characters with lore to go with them. Of course, the stellar tournament fighter gameplay plays a big part in it too.
RELATED: Mortal Kombat 11: 10 Most Intelligent Characters, Ranked
With the Mortal Kombat games and story modes getting bigger and bigger, they're more like movies now. This has warranted the attention of more famous actors who have taken both new and classic characters in newer games including Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat 11.
9 Vanessa Marshall
Tumblr media
One might not recognize her by her face but her voice has become famous over the years. Vanessa Marshall has voiced many characters for movies, games, and TV shows across twenty years. She voiced Wonder Woman in multiple DC projects as well as Black Canary for Young Justice and Injustice 2.
Most might recognize her voice as that of fan-favorite Hera Syndulla on Star Wars Rebels. In Mortal Kombat 11, Vanessa Marshall provided the voice for Sheeva in both stories. Though, it is nearly impossible to detect Marshall's voice due to how deep the character's voice is.
8 Johnny Yong Bosch
Tumblr media
With Mortal Kombat X came the introduction of the Kombat Kids. The next generation of fighters and one of them was the younger cousin of Kung Lao known as Kung Jin. Johnny Yong Bosch voiced Kung Jin, providing one of the more memorable characters in the story.
Some may know Bosch as the voice of Takeda in Akira but he is more likely to be recognized for his tenure as a Power Ranger. Johnny Yong Bosch was the second Black Ranger: Adam seen in Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Power Rangers: Zeo, and Power Rangers: Turbo. Bosch also plays Artemis in the English dub of Sailor Moon Crystal.
7 Kelly Hu
Tumblr media
It is completely understandable to miss this voice. D'Vorah's high-pitched and scratchy voice could hide any actor. Kelly Hu plays D'Vorah in both Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat 11: an insectoid villain who will betray anybody to keep her hive alive.
RELATED: Mortal Kombat 1995: 5 Things That Aged Like Fine Wine (& 5 Things That Aged Terribly)
Kelly Hu has done other voice-over work including many DC projects and Karai in 2012's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In live-action, she was Pearl Zhu for a while on Vampire Diaries, Lady Deathstrike in X-2: X-Men United, and even a victim of Jason Voorhees in Friday The 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan.
6 Ronda Rousey
Tumblr media
One of the most famous UFC fighters of all time is a proud fan of Mortal Kombat. So, she got to live a fangirl's dream when she provided the voice and motion-capture for Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 11. Back when the idea of a new Mortal Kombat movie was just rumors, some fans suggested Ronda could play her.
However, Ronda Rousey playing Sonya in one of the official games is just as great of an opportunity. Ronda has also appeared in movies to show off her fighting capabilities. One can find her in The Expendables 3, Fast & Furious 7, and Mile 22.
5 Steve Blum
Tumblr media
From anime to TV shows to video games; more than likely Steve Blum has done a voice someone will recognize. Marvel's Wolverine in countless projects, Zeb on Star Wars: Rebels, Starscream from Transformers, Orochimaru from Naruto, and Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop.
Steve Blum has literally hundreds of credited voice-acting roles and with Mortal Kombat X, he added Sub-Zero to that long list. He voices Kuai Liang, the younger brother of the first Sub-Zero. Steve Blum would continue to play that character in Mortal Kombat 11 as Nethrrealm Studio's go-to voice for him.
4 Will Yun Lee
Tumblr media
Kung Lao's role in Mortal Kombat X was actually quite small and most of the time, players only saw him as the undead warrior version of himself known as a Revenant. So, it's surprising that Will Yun Lee was given such a small role given his history for martial arts-related media.
RELATED: Mortal Kombat: 10 Interesting Facts About Kung Lao
Still, for such a small role, Will Yun Lee performs well. The actor has done many projects over the years: he was Harada in James Mangold's The Wolverine, he was Takeshi Kovacs on Altered Carbon, he was Wei Shen in Sleeping Dogs, and played Dr. Alex Park on The Good Doctor.
3 Tricia Helfer
Tumblr media
Another famous voice for Sonya, Tricia Helfer played the hardened and more selfish version of Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat X. Tricia Helfer plays the character well and she helps in portraying Sonya's character arc. She also has voiced characters in other projects such as Kerrigan in StarCraft II: Wings Of Liberty.
Tricia Helfer is mostly known for her TV work including Lucifer where she plays Charlotte AKA Lucifer's mother. On Battlestar Galactica, she was Number Six for the entire series and on Van Helsing, she played Dracula.
2 Troy Baker
Tumblr media
Some are likely to recognize Troy Baker from his time on Retro Replay or his podcast on his own YouTube channel. A very talented and humble gentleman who could lead live-action projects with ease if he ever wanted to. However, he has made a name for himself via his voice-acting.
Troy Baker has played countless video game, show, and movie characters. He was Joel in The Last Of Us games, Booker DeWitt in BioShock: Infinite, and was the face and voice of Jack Mitchell in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. He has also played a multitude of Marvel and DC characters over the years. In Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat 11, he provided the voice of Erron Black and Shinnok.
1 Phil LaMarr
Tumblr media
Kotal Kahn was yet another character introduced in Mortal Kombat X who would return for Mortal Kombat 11. In both, Kotal Kahn is voiced by voice actor legend: Phil LaMarr. However, before he was a voice actor, he starred on MADtv with his UBS man skits becoming famous. In Pulp Fiction, he played Marvin whom John Travolta shot right in the face.
These days, most know him for his voice acting which includes Hermes on Futurama, multiple characters on Family Guy, Aquaman in DC projects including Netherrealm's Injustice games, and the titular character of Samurai Jack.

Elite Eight teams in the men’s NCAA tournament, ranked by their title chances
Tumblr media
Let’s rank Elite Eight teams in the men’s NCAA tournament.
There’s always the concern that an upset-laden opening weekend makes for a boring conclusion to the NCAA tournament. So far, that hasn’t been the case in the men’s bracket even after a barrage of upsets through the first four days. The Sweet 16 still produced captivating basketball, and most importantly kept the top teams rolling right into the Elite Eight.
All three No. 1 seeds that advanced out of the first weekend are still alive as we head to the regional finals. We still have elite NBA talent playing in the tournament, with projected top-three picks Evan Mobley (USC) and Jalen Suggs (Gonzaga) about to face-off in a showcase game on Tuesday. Even the teams we can’t believe are here — UCLA and Oregon State, namely — have the size and the perimeter play to pull one more upset.
This tournament has already been so much fun, and it feels like the best is yet to come. We ranked the remaining eight teams in the men’s tournament by who has the best shot at winning it all.
8. Oregon State Beavers (No. 12 seed)
It would be an extreme understatement to say Oregon State wasn’t supposed to be here. The Beavers were picked to finish dead last in the Pac-12 before the season. They hovered around .500 for most the year, and had no chance of getting an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. Oregon State entered the Pac-12 tournament on March 11 knowing every game it would play from here on out was a must win. After six games, the Beavers are still rolling.
Oregon State knocked out No. 8 seed Loyola-Chicago, 65-58, in the first game of the Sweet 16 on Saturday by flummoxing the Ramblers with a zone defense. After Loyola looked so good in knocking out No. 1 seed Illinois in their last game, the Beavers’ combination of size and athleticism finally made them look like a mid-major team. Ethan Thompson (22 points) is turning into a star shooting guard, Jerod Lucas can hit shots, Warith Alatishe is a long-and-bouncy wing who excels defensively, and Roman Silva is a 7’1 senior center who can bother shots at the rim. The Beavers milk the shot clock on every possession, and have the length to close out hard on shooters. It isn’t always pretty, but there’s no denying the results at this point.
This Beavers run is real. Houston shouldn’t be too comfortable.
7. UCLA Bruins (No. 11 seed)
The winningest program in the history of college basketball should probably not count as a Cinderella, but there’s no other way to explain how unlikely this UCLA run has been. The Bruins entered the year ranked No. 22 in the preseason polls, but lost arguably their best player, 6’10 forward Chris Smith, to a torn ACL eight games into the campaign. UCLA bounced back to dominate a large portion of its Pac-12 slate, but then lost its last three games of the regular season and before getting knocked out in its first game of the conference tournament. The Bruins just slid in to the big dance, earning a First Four matchup against Michigan State, which it trailed for most of the night before forcing overtime and pulling away in the extra frame.
The Bruins beat BYU and Abilene Christian easily to bust into the Sweet 16, but a date with Nate Oats and Alabama was always going to be a significantly more difficult test. UCLA was not supposed to win that game, not even when it took a double-digit lead into halftime, not when star wing Johnny Juzang fouled out, and especially not when the Tide forced overtime with a deep buzzer-beating three from Alex Reese. But somehow, UCLA responded in ultra-impressive fashion in the extra five minutes to keep this run going.
UCLA will be an underdog against Michigan in the Elite Eight, but the shot-making of their two 6’6 wings — Juzang and Jaime Jaquez — gives them a puncher’s chance. It’s bizarre that the Bruins ever made it this far. Why stop now?
6. Arkansas Razorbacks (No. 3 seed)
There’s an entire generation of college basketball fans who have never seen Arkansas enjoy this level of success in March Madness. The Razorbacks entered the second weekend of the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1996, back when head coach Nolan Richardson helmed one of the best programs in the country. Eric Musselman isn’t on that level yet in his second season on the bench for the Hogs, but he’s already taking the team to heights it hasn’t seen since Richardson’s heyday.
Oral Roberts gave the Razorbacks everything they could handle in its bid to be the first No. 15 seed to ever reach the Elite Eight, but Max Abmas’ game-winning shot bounced off the rim and the Hogs advanced with a 72-70 victory. It’s the second straight two-point win for Arkansas in the tournament, and once again it was not pretty. The Hogs shot only 1-of-9 from three-point range, and mostly won the game by dominating the offensive glass. Northern Kentucky transfer Jalen Tate led the way with 22 points, while star freshman Moses Moody shot just 4-of-20.
Arkansas plays fast and attacks you defensively with a good mix of high-pedigree youngsters and battle-tested vets who don’t get overwhelmed by the moment. There are no style points to be had here, but the formula works, and Arkansas just keeps winning. If they beat Baylor, we’ll really start to believe.
5. USC Trojans (No. 6 seed)
USC was a frustrating team to watch for most of the season. Evan Mobley made it immediately apparent that he was a special talent, but it often felt like the Trojans didn’t know how to fully tap into his awesome ability. USC had tons of size inside but not many shot creators on the perimeter. It only took threes on 31.7 percent of its possessions (which ranked No. 307 in DI) despite having good shooters. It felt like Mobley should have been an even greater focal point offensively. Either those concerns were always overblown, or the Trojans just took some time to figure things out. Either way, they’re rolling at the right time straight into the Elite Eight.
USC blew out its third straight opponent in this tournament by disposing of Oregon in the Sweet 16 on Sunday night. This suddenly looks like a legit powerhouse, with a top-15 offense, a top-five defense, and a future NBA star tying it all together. The Trojans have tremendous length on the inside with Mobley and his older brother Isaiah protecting the paint. The perimeter players are knocking down shots. All of this might be surprising if you watched USC all season, but none of it seems like a fluke right now.
USC vs. Gonzaga might be the most anticipated game of the tournament so far. The Zags haven’t seen anything like Mobley yet. USC’s defense is about to face the ultimate test against one of the best offenses college basketball has ever seen in the modern era. USC’s tournament run has been full of special performances so far. Let’s see if they have one more left in them.
4. Houston Cougars (No. 2 seed)
Kelvin Sampson has quietly been building a sustainable winner in the American Athletic Conference over the last six years. His Houston Cougars have won at least 21 games in each of those seasons, and would be making their fourth straight tournament appearance if last year’s postseason wasn’t canceled. This is Sampson’s best team yet thanks to a roster that has both continuity and star-power. As the big boys in the Midwest region have fallen, Houston just keeps going.
The Cougars blitzed Syracuse’s vaunted zone with speed and shooting in a 62-46 victory in the Sweet 16. Houston finished with three times as many assists as the Orange even as they shot just 7-of-26 from three. Star guard Quentin Grimes, a former Kansas transfer, led the way with 14 points, while former UMass transfer DeJon Jarreau added nine points, eight assists, and eight rebounds. Houston is top-8 in the country in both offensive and defensive efficiency, and typically plays at an ultra slow pace with an emphasis on hitting the offensive glass. It isn’t the most glamorous style, but the Cougs haven’t been stopped yet.
Going against Syracuse’s zone should prepare Houston for an Oregon State team that used a zone to beat Loyola in the last round. With one more win, Sampson will finally get his due for what he’s been building for years.
3. Michigan Wolverines (No. 1 seed)
Michigan men’s basketball was one of the most successful programs in the country over the last decade under John Beilein, but there was no guarantee it was going to continue when Juwan Howard took over the program two years ago. Plenty of other former NBA stars had gone back to coach their alma maters and flamed out, but Howard was always too sharp for that. Despite starting the season as the final team ranked in the AP Poll, the Wolverines quickly made it apparent that they were one of the best teams in the country. Not even an injury to star senior forward Isaiah Livers just before the tournament has changed that so far during this postseason.
Florida State was a trendy pick to upset Michigan in the Sweet 16, but the Wolverines owned all 40 minutes on their way to a 76-58 win. This game showed why Howard’s team is ranked in the top-10 in efficiency on both both sides of the ball. Franz Wagner, a 6’9 combo forward, played like the NBA lottery pick he’s projected to be with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Star freshman Hunter Dickinson (14 points) looked great in the middle, while Chaundee Brown (12 points) again proved he’s one of the country’s best reserves. Mike Smith and Eli Brooks are an undersized backcourt, but both are so good in their roles. Brandon Johns filled in admirably for Livers, and will need to keep that up for this run to continue.
The Wolverines still have an incredibly talented front court even without Livers, and the guards are able to get a bucket in a pinch. This looks like an extremely deserving No. 1 seed even if we can’t quite put them ahead of the two other top seeds still standing in the bracket.
2. Baylor Bears (No. 1 seed)
Baylor has been one of the best teams in college basketball for two straight seasons now with a core led by the guard trio of Jared Butler, Davion Mitchell, and MaCio Teague. The Bears never got to show what they were made of last season before the pandemic canceled the tournament, but they would have been a No. 1 seed and a favorite to reach the Final Four for the first time in Scott Drew’s career. Drew’s team has picked up right where it left off this season, only with even more weapons and another year of built-in chemistry this time around.
After a shaky first half, Baylor looked every bit like a powerhouse in closing out No. 5 seed Villanova, 62-51, in the Sweet 16 on Saturday. Mitchell was electric with his pesky on-ball defense and quick-strike driving ability. Butler had a cold shooting night but still a found a way to get to the basket for a couple key second half buckets. Adam Flagler, a newcomer this season as a transfer from Presbyterian, added 16 points off the bench. The Bears have so many different guards who can cut you up on offense while still being able to get after you on the defensive end (No. 27 in efficiency).
This is an elite team in every way, one that is absolutely good enough to win the whole tournament. It’s going to take a Herculean effort for any team to knock them out.
1. Gonzaga Bulldogs (No. 1 seed)
Gonzaga has looked like the best team in the country from the very first game of the season, when they dropped 102 points in a breezy win over Kansas. The Zags ran the table through the rest of the non-conference slate — including wins over West Virginia, Iowa, and Virginia, all of whom were top-4 seeds in March Madness — and then stayed undefeated by blitzing West Coast Conference opponents. This has looked like one of the best college basketball teams in recent memory by the eye test, and the numbers back it up: Gonzaga’s adjusted efficiency margin of +37.82 is the highest since KenPom started tracking the stat in 2002.
Creighton played well in the Sweet 16 and still lost by 18 points in a win that showed off Gonzaga’s embarrassment of riches. The Zags have an All-American-caliber player at guard (Jalen Suggs), on the wing (Corey Kispert), and in the front court (Drew Timme). Their three-guard, four-out offense is a blur of cutting, spacing, and ball movement with knockdown shooters dotting the arc. Joel Ayayi and Andrew Nembhard would be stars elsewhere but are significantly overqualified as fourth and fifth options with the Zags. Good luck stopping this attack.
The Zags are good enough to be men’s college basketball’s first undefeated national champion since Indiana in 1976. They’re the favorites until someone proves they can knock them off.

BoB Modern Music Taste Headcanons bc fight me
(I know. Lots of metal/rock, but tbh I don’t know a Hell of a lot outside of rock. I know I’m forgetting people)
•Bill - The Heaviest Of Them All™ Artists: Amon Amarth, Bloodsimple, Havok, Trivium. All the old classic metal like Maiden, Metallica, Pantera. Super weird and obscure shit too, like Powerwolf or Cattle Decapitation when he’s trying to freak people out. Also just whatever is on today’s rock radio when he’s with Babe.
•Babe - Disturbed, A7X, Godsmack, Halestorm, HellYeah, Metallica. Bill got him into heavy stuff when they were younger, but he never got too into the screaming stuff. Mostly radio metal. Also likes Disney music. Fight him.
•Joe Toye - Another Heavy Boi™. Pantera is his shit. Indestructible by Disturbed and anything by Sabaton is for when he works out. We Shall Destroy by Amon Amarth before a fight (I dunno, they said he was a beast so I kinda headcanon he’s some sort of semi-pro boxer/cage fighter).
•Frank Perconte - He’ll take this secret to the grave, but he loves showtunes. And rock, and pop, really whatever comes on the radio.
•Buck Compton - Sporty dude is sporty. He mostly listens to music when he works out, so as long as it’s got a good beat, it can go on his playlist. (Metallica, Meghan Trainor, Ice Cube, Luke Bryan, whatever)
•Richard Winters - When concentrating, he listens to classical. When not, he likes really chill sort of stuff. Like ‘Tennessee Whiskey’ by Chris Stapleton, 'Alive’ by Pearl Jam, 'Simple Man’ by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Steve Miller Band. CCR. Anything relaxing. Aloe Blacc is a favorite. 'I’ll Follow You’ by Shinedown was played at his and Nix’s wedding
•Nix - Whatever Dick is listening to. When he was younger, he liked to blast the most obnoxiously vulgar stuff he could find at his dad. He doesn’t play it much anymore but he’s still got a soft spot for Slipknot’s 'Custer’ and 'The Heretic Anthem’.
•Joe Liebgott - Black Flag, Green Day, The Kinks, The Ramones, Dead Kennedys, Misfits, The Clash. He is a Punk Motherfucker. Also German metal band Rammstein.
•David Webster - A bit of pop punk, bit of grunge, bit of anything vaguely poetic. If it’s got meaning he’ll listen. He scoffs at meaningless 'fun’ songs. Secretly loves 'Casual Sex’ by My Darkest Days. Also likes Rammstein, thanks Lieb.
•Shifty Powers - My lil country bumpkin boy. Loves country music
•Ron - Zeppelin. AC/DC. Sabbath. ZZ Top Rolling Stones, Skynyrd. When he’s pissed he’ll pull out 5 Minutes Alone by Pantera. He also like’s Carwood’s fun pop stuff. But only Carwood knows so shhh.
•Carwood Lipton - Lots of older pop. Janet Jackson, The Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, New Kids On The Block (😉). He’s a phenomenal singer. He’s kinda shy at the beginning of their relationship so he’d stop singing when Ron got out of bed, so Ron would lie in bed for a while just listening to him sing.
•Eugene Roe - When he has time to listen to anything. he likes stuff like Black Stone Cherry, The Animals, Linkin Park, Soundgarden, The Black Keys, Halestorm. Will jam to Disney with Babe.
•Skinny - The Chili Peppers, The Beatles, Dr Dre, Tupac, Walk The Moon, DNCE. Whatever man, good music is good music.
•Chuck Grant - Has a crush on Maria Brink of In This Moment. Arch Enemy, Otep, Godsmack, My Darkest Days. Anything with attitude.
•Tab - Knows Nirvana’s entire discography by heart. Has seen Foo Fighters like eighteen times.
•Bull Randleman - Hank Jr, Black Stone Cherry, CCR, Allman Brothers, Chris Stapleton, Alabama, Eric Church, Eagles. Southern boy like southern rock and country.
•Johnny Martin - 'Bull, get that twang away from me.’ Put it on a rock station. He likes what they’re playing. Queen is his favorite band.
•Skip Muck - Copperhead Road by Steve Earle is his favorite. But honestly, he’s not picky. Anything remotely amusing.
•Alex Penkala - The more ridiculous the better. Steel Panther comes to mind. Ariana Grande. JoBros.
•Harry Welsh - Dropkick Murphys. U2. Shinedown. Phil Collins. Elton John. GNR bc gotta support your fellow gingers. Kitty had a massive crush on Axl for the longest time.
•Pat Christenson - (Fassy is a metalhead irl sooo) Slayer’s Reign In Blood album is his religion.
•Popeye Wynn - My lil hillbilly with that accent. Outlaw Country/Southern Rock.
•Don Malarkey - Prog rock. Cheesy country. Comedy albums. Cotton Eyed Joe is his ringtone. Him, Skip, and Alex have both Pitch Perfect soundtracks memorized.
•George Luz - Anything. Literally anything. His ringtone for Buck is 'Straight Outta Compton’. He has songs he has no idea how to pronounce. 'What language is that, George?’ 'I do not know but it’s catchy.’ Selena is the Love Of His Life, sorry boys. 1D and their subsequent solo careers Cheetah Girls? Yep. Cannibal Corpse? Check. Weird Tibetan Monks Chanting? ✔️
George likes anything that catches his attention.

annalise hamilton (part three)
a/n : i think this one is gonna be pretty long fyi and i decided to not put in farmer refuted. i like the song but i didn’t think it was really that important to this series and i didn’t want to bore you all trying to make it fit.
summary : the songs use in this one are “right hand man”, “a winter’s ball”, “helpless”, and “satisfied”. more fluff with john...
warnings : swearing and french i think
-
John, Lafayette, and Hercules brought the Hamiltons back to their camp and hooked them up with some uniforms and got them to meet George Washington, who told them to stay in their new friends tent, since there was enough room. After a couple of days of being in the army and only having to go to one battle, the Hamiltons were getting bored. That was until the general called them in one day.
“Have you two met Burr?” He asked.
“Yes sir.,” Anna said.
“We keep meeting,” finished Alex. Washington ushered Burr out and then turned to Anna and her older brother.
“You too are vital for this war. Anna, I haven’t seen you fighting a lot, but you look extremely skilled with a weapon. Although you must keep the fact that you’re a woman a secret, I would like you to be a general in my army. Do you accept?” She nodded excitedly, then Washington turned towards her brother, “Alexander, I’ve heard that you are an extremely skilled writer, will you work and write for me?”
He looked upset that he wasn’t going to be in charge of any men, but he still agreed. “Yes, I can start now.”
George thanked them and then led them out of his tent to tell everyone about their new positions.
Later that day, John walked up to Anna and said, “Hey, have you seen any general around?”
She smirked and said, “You’re looking at one.”
He looked confused then realized what she Anna was saying. “Wait, you got promoted?” He said excitedly. She nodded and he picked her up and hugged her. “There’s a ball tonight, come with me?”
“John, you know the general doesn’t want people to know I’m a girl right?” She asked.
“Well yeah, but why don’t you just show up with the Schuyler Sisters and then act like you’re meeting me there?” he suggested.
“Okay, but if anyone finds out about me being in the war, I’ll be ruined.”
“Don’t worry,” John said. “I’ll protect you.”
Anna hit his shoulder lightly and said, “Shut up.”
After she had hung out with John for a while, she walked to the Schuyler house. All of the girls ran out to greet her. “Annalise!! It’s so good to see you again!!” Angelica said. Angelica had probably become Anna’s favorite sister, just because they were close to the same age and they believed in the same things.
Annalise explained her plan about the ball and all of the girls agreed to help her. Since she didn't have any dresses, they gave her a gorgeous dress almost identical to Angie’s, but purple. Then they did her hair and makeup, since she had almost no experience with it. When she was done, she didn’t even recognize herself. Usually she would be in her uniform with her hair pulled into her hat. But she loved the way she looked now too.
She rode in the Schuyler’s carriage to the ball, since she couldn’t show up with John. They made their way in and Anna immediately saw Alex and Lafayette trying to flirt with girls. She started to talk to Angelica, but stopped when she saw how she was looking at her brother. She dragged Angie away from the crowd.
“Angelica, do you have the hots for my brother?” Anna said.
“Well no, he’s cute, but I don’t know if he’s good enough for me,” Angelica replied.
“Whatever, he’s like the smartest person I know.” Anna replied.
“Maybe..but look at how Eliza is staring at him,” Angelica said sadly. Annalise glanced at the middle sister, and saw that she was staring helplessly into Alex’s eyes too. She continued, “I have other things to worry about than marrying for love. I’m gonna set those two up, okay?”
“Angie, you saw him first!” Anna said, but Angelica just looked down at her feet then slowly shook her head. “Wait Angelica!” But it was too late; Angelica had already greeted Alexander. Anna was watching them talk for a little bit, but soon her eyes were drawn to John, who entered the ball fashionably late, as he liked to say.
She started to walk over to him but was swept away by Herc who said, “Hello miss. I am Hercules Mulligan, may I have this dance?” Anna nodded slowly and began to dance as he whispered into her ear, “You can’t just go over to John like that remember? That’s not what a proper lady would do.” Anna just rolled her eyes. “But seriously, be careful, we don’t want you or Johnny boy to get in trouble okay?” She nodded again as she felt a tap on her shoulder.
“Sorry Hercules, but I’m going to have to steal a dance from this lovely lady.” It was John. Finally. He took her hands and pulled her close. “You look hot.”
“Keep it subtle Laurens,” Anna said. He just rolled his eyes and kept talking.
“I mean for real. Like I didn’t know you even owned a dress.”
“It’s not mine, it’s Angelica’s. But I can say you look hot too,” she said.
As the night went on, Anna stayed with John the majority of the time, except for when Alex wanted to dance. Although he was hitting it off with Eliza. She was happy for them, but sad about Angelica. John pulled her to the side on a balcony and began to talk in a more serious, not-John-like voice.
“Okay Anna, look, we haven’t been together very long, but I’m not sure if both of us will even make it through the war.” Anna wanted to cut him off for talking like that, but she held her tongue. “I know it’s a little harsh, but you know it’s true. We are good for each other. We can make each other laugh, and we’re both hot. So can you please make a promise to you?”
She nodded. “Of course John.”
“If we both make it out of this war alive, please, please. let me marry you?”
It was a big thing to promise, but he was obviously being for real. “John, if we make it out of this war alive, you can marry me.” He wrapped her into a hug and cheered.
“Okay, okay, I’ll calm down. I have a promise ring.”
“John, really?” He nodded. “You’re the sweetest person I know.”
“I love you,” he said.
She heard him, but loved the sound of him saying it. “What?” She asked.
“I love you.”
“Sorry still didn’t hear you.”
“I love you goddammit!” He shouted.
“I love you too,” she said.

Ranking The 22 Absolute Worst Characters On The OC
Can you believe it’s been ten years since The O.C.’s final drama-driving chapter? We definitely can’t—it’s as if Mischa Barton never competed on Dancing with the Stars, Benjamin Mckenzie never turned 38, Adam Brody didn’t settle down with Blair Waldorf, and Rachel Bilson never got with Anakin Skywalker. Ahh, what a time to be alive. As much as we miss those four years of O.C. madness, there are a couple of characters we wouldn’t dare invite to our fantasy reunion — in fact, there are 22 of them. The series wouldn’t be what it is without them, but we would’ve a lot of edits to their time on screen. Scroll down below for our definitive list of the worst of Newport Beach’s many shady characters. 1. Oliver Trask (Taylor Handley)
Any true, or even casual O.C. fan will tell you, Oliver Trask was the worst thing to ever happen to the series. Yes, worse than the road raging “surf Nazi.” Volchok’s character flaws were never glossed over by any of the Newport Beach crew—even Marissa knew what she was getting into. Oliver, however, managed to turn Ryan’s friends against him in an elaborate ploy to steal his girlfriend. (EVIL.) Despite his inherent awfulness, Oliver ended up creating one of the most exciting story lines in the show’s four-season run—plus everyone learned a valuable lesson: always trust Ryan Atwood. ALWAYS. 2. Kevin Volchok (Cam Gigandet)
Surprise, surprise, the man who killed fallen O.C. golden girl Marissa Cooper and tarnished the bulk of season three with his unchecked aggression is not a standup guy. I hold Volchok 100% responsible for the series’ ultimate cancellation. Booooo. 3. Johnny Harper (Ryan Donowho)
Okay, unpopular opinion, but Johnny needed to go. To me, Johnny was Oliver 2.0—just another whiny obstacle standing between star-crossed lovers Ryan and Marissa. Silver lining: without Johnny, we never would have heard the amazing Sufjan Stevens song that played at his funeral. 4. Trey Atwood (Logan Marshall-Green)
Like Ryan Atwood himself, we held out hope that Trey would follow in his brother’s footsteps. Spoiler alert: he so didn’t. Trey takes advantage of everyone in Newport Beach, including his brother’s girlfriend (!)—in short, he’s the anti-Ryan. 5. Kaitlin Cooper (Willa Holland)
After about a year away at boarding school, Marissa’s lil’ sis’ returned to The O.C. as a literal different person (the precocious tween played by Shailene Woodley was replaced by wild child Willa Holland) and consequently became the worst. After Kaitlin’s initial return in the third season, Holland became a fourth season regular—signaling to audiences everywhere that the series was far past its prime. 6. Charlotte Morgan (Jeri Ryan)
Conning rehab-goers? That’s pretty low, even for the depraved money-grubbing residents of Newport Beach. Charlotte literally pretended to be an alcoholic to get to Kirsten’s money—eek! Even the show’s creator, Josh Schwartz, found the story line pretty ridiculous. “We were told to add this Jeri Ryan character to the show that we had no idea what to do with, Schwartz told Vulture, “We were just told we had to add an adult female character. It went nowhere, and we had no plan for it, and it just didn’t fit the show.” 7. Reed Carlson (Marguerite Moreau)
Reed, who helps publish Zach and Seth’s comic book—sorry, “graphic novel,” Atomic County, causes some major riffs between Seth and Summer. Byeeeee! 8. Jess Sathers (Nikki Griffin)
Oh, Jess… Trey’s drug-dealing moral equivalent and sometime girlfriend was welcomed into the series’ narrative after being found unconscious in the pool. Somehow, this was a totally appropriate introduction to Jess Sathers. 9. Dean Hess (Eric Mabius)
Harbor’s Dean of Discipline was out to get well-intentioned bad boy Ryan, and he was carrying on an affair with a student (Taylor Townsend). BAD MAN. 10. Eddie (Eric Balfour)
Theresa’s ex and presumptive baby daddy crashes Newport parties, punches Ryan in the face, and gives Theresa a black eye. Game over, Eddie. 11. Jodie (Emmanuelle Chriqui)
Alex’s (Olivia Wilde) ex interfered in her relationships with both Seth and Marissa. Ugh! Luckily, Marissa and Alex exact their revenge by stealing a sentimental necklace from her bedroom. BOOM. 12. Grady Bridges (Colin Hanks)
The Valley star puts the moves on teen soap-obsessed Summer while she’s dating Seth—um, ew! 13. Donnie (Paul Wesley)
Though Donnie may have a way with “the honeys,” he’s really not the kind of guy you want hanging around. He shot Luke, after all! 14. Gabrielle (Nichole Hiltz)
The fact that a twenty-something model was dating Kirsten’s dad is a travesty unto itself—but worse yet, Gabrielle and Ryan’s fling drives Marissa to sleep with Luke! If you connect the dots, Gabrielle’s interference basically leads to Marissa ODing in Tijuana. Go home, Gabrielle. 15. Theresa Diaz (Navi Rawat)
Let me count the ways… Not only does Theresa disturb the peace (and love!) between Ryan and Marissa, she also lies to Ryan about the baby he’s vowed to raise, and judges him for leaving Chino. WHAT. A. JERK. 16. Lindsay Gardner (Shannon Lucio)
She’s perfectly nice, I guess, but we really can’t forgive her for breaking Ryan’s (and Kirsten’s!) heart. 17. Taylor Townsend (Autumn Reeser)
Ryan-Taylor politics aside, I think we can all agree that Ms. Townsend was one of the most obnoxious residents of Newport Beach. 18. Holly Fischer (Ashley Hartman)
Marissa’s “BFF” made fun of her dad and hooked up with her boyfriend. Good riddance, Holly!
19. Rachel Hoffman (Bonnie Somerville)
Sandy’s presumptuous co-worker tried to seduce him one late night at the office—not cool. 20. Lance Baldwin (Johnny Messner)
This ghost from Julie Cooper’s desperate past (read: she starred in the epically titled The Porn Identity) comes back to blackmail the now wealthy Mrs. Cooper Nichol. We later learn Lance isn’t all bad, and then he and Julie share a magical moment set to the strum of Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” but still, he hammered the final nail in Julie’s already questionable reputation, and for that there are no second chances. 21. Taryn Baker (Kimberly Oja)
The Newpsie Queen desperately needed some damage control. 22. Matt Ramsey (Jeff Hephner)
Continued below…
Matt was one of many unfortunate cogs in Sandy’s weird turn as the C.E.O. of the Newport Group following Caleb’s death. Also, he took teenaged Ryan to a strip club—we object.
