like yeah, that might be what HE thinks. maybe he regenerated into what HE THINKS she wants… but rose loved nine more than a black hole loves mavity. and my fucking GOD she found him sexy.

So it’s pretty common knowledge that RTD loved to foreshadow stuff during his time as Doctor Who showrunner. But I’ve noticed that there is one super subtle thing that I don’t see anyone talking about: how there was foreshadowing even in the costume design.

None of us will forget Rose’s iconic return in Partners in Crime.

Where she’s first seen wearing her iconic blue leather jacket and pink t-shirt.

A look that was 100% inspired by her first Doctor even down to a similar jumper colour he was wearing the first time they met.

Then Tentoo, being the adorable dork he is just goes ahead and matches Rose, but wears a shirt that’s pretty much an identical colour to his younger leather-clad self. (”That’s me when we first met” indeed.)

Now I know you’re all sitting there going “This isn’t foreshadowing! The costume designers did this on purpose with Rose and Tentoo. And that absolute goober had to go all matchy-matchy with the woman he loved.”

Okay, okay. I’ll finally get to the foreshadowing bit.

Look at what Donna is wearing when she meets back up with Ten in Partners in Crime (or the scene where she’s hiding in the bathroom because that’s the clearest shot I could get of this outfit)

Red shirt under a black suit jacket with a subtle pinstripe! The future Doctor-Donna sitting there wearing a fusion of Nine and Tentoo’s outfits.

Tell me they didn’t do that on purpose!

Yep, this is definitely what happened over in Pete's World. Tentoo became Mr. Rose Tyler and told literally everyone about it. He probably had t-shirts made declaring exactly that.

If Rose and Doctor got married I just know he would be such a wife guy. Just imagine it;

"Hi, I'm the Doctor and this is my lovely wife - Rose"

He would not shut up about it. Ever.

U can watch Star Wars so many times and it doesn’t prepare u for how dumb Star Wars is. For one thing I think we gloss over how kenobi (who has definitely been at the club. Please.) describes the mos eisley cantina as the worst most villainous place ever and then u get inside and it’s a pack of muppets vaping
