[Winx Club x Flora!reader x Genshin] (Very old draft)

Reader is flora

"How is flora?" A voice was heard over the holograph.

Bloom shook her head in defeat, "She won't come out of her room, not even to eat food, she only comes out for lessons but she doesn't even talk to us anymore. She also always locks the door that separates our room."

The Winx were gathered in the living area on the sofa as they talked to the holographic figures of the specialist. As of right now, Helia was not there with the other specialist as he was out with Krystal.

"She's been distancing herself ever since Helia and Krystal started hanging out with each other. I'm worried for her." Musa had huddled herself on the couch.

Stella folded her arms, "It's like she's so close to us but so far. This is not good. Can you guys try to talk to Helia about this?"

"We don't even see Helia nowadays. He's always out with Krystal." The holographic Brandon spoke.

Sky added, "Plus I don't think Flora would like us to talk to him."

Tecna sighs, "I guess all we can do for now is hope Helia realizes what is happening."

"There's no way he will notice! He's as dense as a rock!" Aisha looked frustrated.

Stella furrowed her eyebrows, "I agree with Aisha. That's it! I'm going to drag Helia to Flora and get this over with!"

Stella started walking out of the room but Bloom held her arm to stop her, "Stella no! We all know Flora wouldn't want this!"

"So what do you expect us to do? Sit here and do nothing while Flora is slowly distancing herself!" Stella said, anger evident on her face.

Bloom shook her head, "I'll go and try to ask her to come out and hang out with us again. Hold on." With that Bloom left before anybody could protest.

Musa sighed, "What shall we do? Flora is slowly getting more closed off..."

"Maybe we should just let her be." Riven sarcastically said. He looked at everybody who was now glaring at him, "Chill. I was joking. I'm sure Flora will be fine soon enough anyways."

"But what if she doesn't Riven! What if she distances herself even more than she already has!" Stella shouted. Riven was about to retort when they heard the door to the living room open.

They all looked to the door expectantly only to see Bloom look down sadly and shook her head.

They all sighed and remained quiet for a while before Brandon said, "We should end the call now. It's getting quite late and tomorrow we have school, we'll find a way to help Flora tomorrow."

They all nodded and the girls ended the call with the specialist. They all returned back to their rooms to retire for the night. ·········⋆༺𓆩❀𓆪༻⋆·········

The next day all the girls waited outside the door for Flora, expecting her to join them. Flora emerged from her room for the first time in a week since the last week had been a holiday. All the girls look at Flora and gasped, her usual hazel hair had turned [H/c] and her eyes had changed to [E/c]. Flora looked at the girls and asked, "What?"

"Y-your hair and eyes..." Stella stuttered.

Flora looked at them, clearly confused before her eyes widened, "Shit." Flora said in a language that none of the Winx understands. She didn't give them a chance to respond before she ran to the mirror in the living room, 'My eyes and hair... They turned back to when...' Flora sighed before walking back to the girls, "Don't worry about it." She said briefly before walking out of the dorm. The other girls followed her still shocked by her change of hair and eye colour. Flora walked alone while in thought, 'Why did they change color again? The only time they changed was when I was in... But that's impossible... I'm still in Alfea. Unless...' Her thoughts were stopped as she stood before the huge doors leading to the auditorium.

She entered through the doors without hesitation, chatters could be heard from all corners of the room when they suddenly quietened as they saw Flora. 'Great now everyone's staring at me.' Flora didn't spare any of them a second glance before walking to the last row in the auditorium. She sat down in one of the corners, the girls tried to look for her, thinking she sat in the front row. They were all confused before Tecna pointed to the last row at the highest point of the auditorium, the girls looked at each other before deciding to walk up the stairs and each take a seat near each other.

Flora held her right cheek with her right hand and rested her elbow on the table, 'When is headmaster going to come. It's so boring just waiting here.' While the girls were looking at Flora with concern they didn't notice the multiple pairs of eyes on them. The headmaster finally entered, "Hello my dear fairies. Today we will be doing something special due to the fact you just returned from your holiday. Today we will be joined by a few of our specialists."

The specialists walked into the auditorium, causing the Winx, except Flora to be shocked. Flora continued to stare at the headmaster with bored eyes, 'Why are they so shocked? Couldn't they sense them? But I do sense another presence that seems oddly familiar...'

"Specialist, you can choose where to sit for now." The headmaster said. The specialists, except for Helia, made a beeline towards the Winx. Helia looked around trying to find someone before he saw a familiar pink-haired girl wave at him excitedly, Helia waved back and decided to walk towards her.

The specialists looked at Flora in shock and looked at the Winx for answers. The winx shrugged their shoulders with a frown on their face. Once they saw Helia their frown deepened even more. The specialist and Winx looked at Helia and Krystal before looking at Flora.

They were shocked to see her yawning before going back to her bored expression, 'This going to be a long day...' Flora thought as she side-eyed the group who were staring at her.

"So today we will also be joined by another person. He is not a fairy or anything of that sort, but he does have powers. He is somewhat of an exchange student from a different academy, so please treat him with respect. You may now enter." A tall, attractive man who looked like he was in his late 20's came into the room, he had silver hair with streaks of white at the end of his hair, he wore a tight black compression shirt with a green cape. Flora immediately jolted up from her seat once she saw the glowing green trinket he wore on his shoulder, effectively making the girls jump too.

"Flora? Is there something wrong?" Bloom asked in a worried tone. Flora smirked and leaned back in her seat, "Not at all, Bloom." The specialists and Winx looked at Flora in shock, Flora always had a kind smile never a smirk. Headmistress Faragonda looked at the sea of students and asked, "Would anybody like to volunteer and show him around?" The auditorium was pin-drop silent until.... "I volunteer." Flora raised up her hand, the Winx and the specialists' eyes widened, everybody's head turned around to see who had volunteered. Helia didn't recognise the girl until he realised that she was sitting with the Winx, 'Flora?'

Headmistress Faragonda adjusted her glasses to check if she was seeing clearly, "Flora is that you?" Flora simply nodded and her lazy smirk remained as she saw the man turn his head. His eyes widened, pupils dilated as he let out a breathless whisper, "Y/n?" "Miss me? Haitham." Y/n gave a wink at Alhaitham and leaned back into her seat.

Headmistress Faragonda looked at the two of them, her eyes slightly narrowing before going back to normal, "I see that the both of you are already acquainted with each other. In that case, Flora I trust that you will accompany Al Haitham here at his stay in Alfea."

Y/n's smirk turned into a lazy smile, "Of course Miss Faragonda."

Headmistress Faragonda nodded her head before saying, "And everybody please do remember, Alhaitham will also be teaching here besides from listening to lessons, I expect all of you to be on your best behavior. On that note, everybody is dismissed." Headmistress Faragonda said something to Alhaitham which he nodded to before he left to the stairs.

Everybody started clearing out of the auditorium but not without a few glances at Y/n, she couldn't care less as she stood up and waited for Alhaitham to climb the stairs.

Helia was ahead of him and started to walk to Flora and the other Winx and specialists, just as he was about to reach them Alhaitham appeared out of thin air, a flash of green present as Alhaitham stood next to Y/n, "Out of all people I would never expect you to be here."

Helia was dumbfounded as he saw the man appear next to Flora. The Winx stood up as well as they introduced themselves one by one to Alhaitham, the specialists went next, including Helia. Alhaitham simply nodded and said, "Pleasure to meet you all, my name is Alhaitham."

Alhaitham then looked at Y/n, clearly not interested in the others, "So this is where you've been after defeating the heavenly principles..."

Aisha placed a hand on her hip and asked, "The heavenly principles? What's that?"

Y/n just waved dismissively then said in a teasing voice, "Oh it's nothing. Anyways... What are you doing here, Alhaitham? What could the acting grand sage of the Akademiya be doing here himself?"

The man went quiet, signaling that he couldn't say the truth in front of strangers. Y/n simply nodded, "Tell me later. Oh by the way where are you going to stay?"

"That's the thing. The headmistress told me to meet up with you then you'll bring me to her office and we can discuss my schedule there."

Musa's eyebrows rose as she heard that, "But we have classes now."

"Ah. You girls and the specialists can go on first. I have to accompany him for now. I'll probably see you girls later." Y/n said casually.

"What! You get to skip class! Not fair." Stella crossed her arms and turned away.

Y/n chuckled at her friends antics while Techna chided Stella, "She's not skipping lessons she's accompanying a very important guess, Stella." Stella pouted and stuck her tongue out, "Same thing."

The rest of the girls besides Techna giggled as she shook her head. Alhaitham placed his hand on Y/n's waist, "We've wasted enough time here, let's go." Y/n nodded and waved to the specialists and Winx.

Helia reached his hand out to Y/n but she was already walking away. The rest of the group stared confusingly at the two retreating figures.

"Hey is it just me or does that guy not like us? He didn't seem to be interested in us at all." Aisha said while placing a finger on her cheek.

“Yeah. At least he introduced himself but Flora didn’t look bothered by his behaviour so maybe that’s just his personality.” Bloom tried to reason with them.

“Or lack thereof.” Stella scoffed and huffed. “He took Flora away with him.”

Tecna looked at the retreating figures of Y/n and Alhaitham with narrowed eyes, realising that the man still had his hand on their friend’s waist. “Hey, don’t they seem quite close?”

The specialists and the Winx all looked back at Y/n and Alhaitham, Helia clenched his fists as he saw that the man still had his hand on Flora.

Just experimenting to see if yall would want me to continue this winx thing. This has been in my drafts for YEARS before I even started posting. It clawed its way out I swear. Also my writing style has evolved over the years so I swear I don't write like this anymore😭😭 I'll post a Winx x batsis!reader either in a few hours or tmr because I got basically 80% of the writing done but I need to rewatch a few episodes to see if everything makes sense

okay here are some things i noticed and want to talk about!

stella has stockings and a little wand! possibly her scepter replacement? i don't Love the little wand but i do like that it's blue :)

i Hate the way the wings look,, they're so Hard and so unfairy to me. it does look like there's a gradient fade where it connects to the back? but the actual wings,,, eeeee it's a no for me. i do Like the design of flora's (stella's has yet to grow on me - we'll see), i just hate how hard they look. But i recognize that this is likely a budget and 3D limitation so,,, Fine

some background fairies!! so much more diversity it actually surprised me ajhgd they're def trying, i'll give them that

adventure/mission suits!!! i actually like these they're really cute,, and bloom in a darker blue! and tec in dark purple! aisha in green! bloom bun!!

specialists fan we have tentatively won - brandon fans your man might still look like a twink ajkgd it looks like a return to the same suits for them but their individual colors pop up more in these little glowy parts on their suits! also orange as a main color which i don't love but it could grow on me. their suits also look a lot more scifi and armor esque which isn't a surprise at all. also little backpacks now? kinda cute,, still nervous about riven's hair. it doesn't look good in this scene But tbf he is far away and moving very fast so Maybe Maybe Maybe we shall see idk but a return to shoulder length hair for sky!!! so far he looks the best imo but i'll wait to see all of them standing still before i cast Too much judgement aljhgd but the boys are here! at least three of them are akjdg

do you know what sucks? it is when you are like i wanna see the winx fandom and see the discussions (assuming its about reboot even if its obviously gonna be underwhelming) and all you see is Sky and Riven bashing, it is like... Almost a parrot orchestra of same old same old points that have been disproven but hey I guess hating them is easy? It is okay to dislike any character but what they get from the "fadom" is ridiculous beyond anything.

what i find the most funny is that truly the most things said about Sky is not even remotely true, I have noticed that specially on my winx s1 rewatch how everyone just blow things out of proportion and some stuff are straight out LIES for real

Sky did not cheat the insane girl (remember that one which calls everyone peasants and think only them should fight a dangerous fight while royalty hides, and screams with servants? tried to kill Bloom and sh*t? yeaah such a great person), he was in a forced errangement (I guess we should only feel sorry for certain characters when they face this situation right? Because Sky have to just suck it up I suppose? Heck if he loves someone truly lol), anyway Sky breaks the arrangement on s 1 he do not even dates Bloom for real until the end of season 2 until there it is like "oh yes we like each other but it's too soon to say something I am not sure etc" the big confession leading to relationship was probably saved because of the climax of season 2 being big so it makes sense it's saved for this moment in restrospect it makes more sense.

Sky should not have to desclosure his identity to Bloom where they barely met each other! If this have been dragged upon s 2 I would feel he should but c'mon LMAO Be realistic, his life was in danger they weren't doing it for funs and kicks lol what were people watching

Sky got scared of Bloom possibly being the vessel of the old witches (an actual threat to the entire magic dimension but a 16 year old sky can not have flaws how silly of me) i dont remember how to write english wtv, he did freaked out he didnt knew her very well but he did NOT abandoned her lmaooooo i remember laughin at the absurdity when i rewatched it the absurdity of the blowing things out of proportion. I think specially cute because no one sees that he mades up for it in the end which is the point and how he almost died for Bloom other times but go off I guess?

I will forever feel like sh*t on this fandom most of times reading all those lies and bs about your favs effing sucks tbh specially when you just wanna check around stuff normally idk its like a random jumpscare, I am not even gonna complete this list because this is all so tiresome, Sky and Bloom don't even have a bad story actually I find them very cute and romantic as noticed I do love them as characters and as a couple, it baffles me how Sky that people preach about here is NOT LIKE canon Sky at all, the most you can say and is accurate is communication, jealousy which are very minimal played and only for the sake of drama and NOT EXCLUSIVE to them or Sky.

With the alleged leak of Winx Club S9, it looks to be heading into full reboot direction and....yeah, ngl, given the last thing we got on S9 confirmed the wizards will be the villains, all I can say is sorry to Roxy for losing her villains to Bloom and sorry to the Trix for getting replaced with the Wizards as the Winx's first villains.

Feeling weird about story rewrites. Bc like. On one hand, as a fan of a piece of media. Sometimes I love it that much. On another, as someone who wants to maybe put a story out there. For someone to look at this very personal thing and say they can do better with the characters I made and have spent years making. That would suck, yk

MADE EDITS i couldn't stop thinking about their outfits and like,, the aspects i liked and thought felt very winx and in line with the individual characters and the aspects i Hated and thought sucked dookie SO i made some edits :)

biggest changes are to musa, aisha, and stella! actually changed the clothes there. flora and tecna i just adjusted the colors (in flora's case to further unwhitewash her and saturate her clothing more and in tecna's case to bring back her pink hair and green and cyan).

explanations on changes below!

I'll start with the simpler edits!

For Tecna, I just wanted to play around with her og colors lol I actually LOVE her new look and I would love to see this be the final design!! It's SO tecna and fits in with the rest of the winx i love it soo much :') I do think they should bring back her pinker hair though! And again, would love to see the green and cyan make an appearance. I feel like neon green is just very classy techy character. And while it is cliche, I do love it akjgd plus I think it looks good on her and makes the other colors stand out more imo! (but maybe this new, pinker look will make people like her more idk :') justice for tecna my beloved :'))

For Flora, I darkened her skin more for obvious reasons. And then I added more saturation to the colors and added back the warmer tones they took out. Imo, the darker, desaturated, and cooler toned look for Flora only works in very specific circumstances. Color theory rainbow!! Bring back the brightness! The color!! The warmth!!

Which brings me to Stella ohmygod,,, please,,,, please stop desaturating her she looks so pale and sick and lifeless STOP please :') Anyway lol, obviously brought back the brighter orange! I also took away the random sleeve. It's cute but it just didn't feel very Stella at the time? The tube top look is Very Classic Stella (very much giving s3 casual but in orange). Tbh, I don't love the dress itself, but I do think it looks better once you add more of Stella's colors. I also tanned her skin more and made her hair more yellow + brighter! Just like with Flora, color theory is important for media!! This Stella design just does Not give sunny, optimistic character. It's giving the gap (aka BORING aljdhg)

Aisha's design stumped me for a bit, I won't lie. I couldn't figure out exactly what I didn't like. But I got it!! One, way too symmetrical imo. Yes, Aisha does have some very symmetrical looks, but like 80% of her looks are very asymmetrical. I also didn't love that it didn't incorporate more of Aisha's powers. It really just went for *vaguely sporty* and didn't try to bring anything else to the table. And some people might say that Aisha's og looks were like that too, but I disagree! They told a story! She's a brave adventurer, a dancer, a princess, etcetc!! This tells me "oh yeah this girl might like to do yoga. cool."

Anyway! So I made Aisha's pants baggier because let's be fucking real for a sec. Changed the design on the pants slightly to make it asymmetrical and incorporated a wave design. Took away that bottom shiny fabric of her shirt. I tried to keep it but it just wasn't looking great with the pants changes tbh. Added small waves to the bottom and made it one shoulder! Also added her classic little circle wave design 1. because it's cute and 2. so Musa wouldn't feel so out of place with a design. Tbh, I still don't love the pants... I think maybe that hem could be higher?

For Musa! I've spoken about this before but I do not like the bodysuit. I liked the concept and the vibe it brings, but it looks So uncomfortable and s1 Musa was alllll about being comfortable. It's why so many people think she hates wearing dresses (even though she doesn't). So I kept the vibe, but changed it to the same mesh that's on her right arm! Which like!! I didn't even see that until I started the edit!! It's so,,, unnoticeable which like,, isn't a bad thing? But also? I think the mesh being on her stomach too makes the design as a whole a little more balanced (and it's a nice callback to her og magic winx!). As for the color changes, really just wanted to go back to her reds and dark blues. I don't Hate the color scheme, but I also don't love it. And I think this feels a lot more like Musa yknow? Also darkened her hair cause fuck that dude

Anyway lol it's not the best edit so don't look too hard :') I just wanted to explore what I liked about the designs and what I didn't. We did get to see a little bit of Bloom's casual, but I want to wait until we get a closer look to speak on it/make edits. Also tbh, I don't really love Flora's outfit but I didn't want to completely redesign her and I concede that this is something she would wear (although it feels more like s4 cowgirl time/s5 casual and not s1 new student time but Fine). For now, I'm gonna pretend the trailer showed us my edit of Stella and not what it really showed. I can't get pale pinterest stella out of my head,,, aggghhhh

Self-indulgent but mandatory "What if the strawhats were Italian" because it has been plaguing my mind for months.

I'm putting some context (and also some headcanons) for each drawing under the cut for anyone interested in better understanding what is going on, so expect a lot of yapping 😭

I think I will draw more Italian strawhats shenanigans in the future (I'm sorry for sidelining you like that Jinbe...), we'll see...

1. Italy is divided into 20 regions, and I associated the 10 strawhats to 10 of those regions. The regions I chose have been mainly picked on instinct based on whatever felt right to me, so I wouldn't look too hard into it 😭

2. Tortellini are a type of stuffed pasta specifically from the Emilia-Romagna region (where I see Robin coming from) and even more specifically from the Bologna and Modena provinces; while fiorentina is typically from Florence (Tuscany) and Luffy would eat at least 10 of them a day if he could

3. Alberto Angela is a paleontologist and history and science communicator, and he runs some TV programs that mainly focus on history and science. He's well-spoken, he's educated, developing a little crush for him is basically a canon event, he's the IT Italian man if you ask me. Robin is watching Ulisse - Il piacere della scoperta, which is also the TV program that introduced me to him when I was like 9 😌

4. Table football is quite common in Italy (all my life I've called it biliardino, but apparently its name is calciobalilla? whatever 😭). I don't really have a lot to say about this one, actually. I just think that a Zoro and Sanji team up would be unmatched (just like in animanga). Like 10-1 (AT BEST) kind of unmatched. If they receive a goal (which was definitely a fluke) they're going to mercilessly trash talk each other into scoring the most diabolically aggressive goal ever witnessed in the history of mankind (Chopper is scared of them) (Luffy thinks it's kinda funny) (Nami decided they won't play at the same time until they learn to chill out).

5. Paolo Fox is a famous astrologer in Italy and basically there used to be this Sunday TV program (Mezzogiorno in famiglia, they discontinued it some years ago but it's the show that Nami and Zoro are watching), where he was called in every week as a guest to rank the signs from 12th to 1st based on the luck, love, money etc. they were going to get during the following week. And whether you believed in astrology or not, you were still going to eat that shit up regardless because you just wanted to know where your sign was going to be placed.

6. Easter eggs in Italy are this big chocolate egg that contains a "surprise", which can be toys or various trinkets (bracelets, keychains, that kind of stuff). When Easter is coming, the supermarkets have full aisles of Easter eggs because there are multiple brands and multiple themes (for example, the ones specifically targeted towards children could be One Piece/Pokemon/Winx etc. themed, containing a surprise that is related to them). I like to think that Chopper would be so excited about the chocolate that he would eat it all without even looking at the surprise 😭 (it's lying somewhere on the ground, a forgotten soldier amidst the raging battle)

7. Neapolitan songs can go pretty hard when you don't have someone in your ear telling you how corny and cringe they are. Franky has a whole arsenal. If during a conversation he hears a word that reminds him of one of his songs, he will start singing it. Brook joins him whenever he hears him, and if he doesn't know the actual words to the song, he will still string together some notes with his guitar. Luffy and Usopp will join at a certain point, while the other strawhats enjoy the little show. If Franky is singing and Robin appears in his line of sight, he will switch to a romantic song and start serenading her. When this happens, Sanji joins too (not because he's trying to woo Robin, but because he will never miss a chance to serenade a woman 😌).

8. I just know Brook has en entire repertoire of love songs that he sings whenever Zoro and Sanji are fighting. In this case he is singing "Bello e impossibile" by Gianna Nannini, whose chorus goes something like "handsome, handsome and impossibile, with black eyes and your Middle Eastern taste" and then again "handsome, handsome and invincible, with black eyes and a kissable mouth/a mouth to be kissed" (it sounds more poetic in Italian I'm sorry 😭). They get mad and flustered every time. It doesn't matter if they are still dancing around each other or are already together. Brook has the time of his life.
