saw the dandadan movie and I’m so fuckin’ pumped for the anime to come out in October!!!
#king’s court#dandadan#dan da dan#they leave off right before momo and okarun go to fight turbo granny and everyone in the theater was so annoyed with the cliffhanger lmao#hopefully that means everyone will tune in for the rest of the series#also the interviews with momo and okarun’s VAs right before the movie were so cute!!!!#their voices fit so perfectly too I couldn’t be happier#everyone watch dandadan when it comes out please#but also be aware of the first episode. it’s. got SA themes unfortunately#however a lot of people say they can deal with better than undead unluck because it’s not treated with the same kind of humor#like it’s clearly a bad thing that momo’s going through#and also maybe equality? since okarun loses his weiner#either way if it’s a not a dealbreaker for you the series is phenomenal and I really want people to give it a try

Been feeling a little inferior to those around me lately. It's something I'm sure we can all relate to, so I hope this brings comfort to those who feel like they're never good enough. Katsuki Bakugou is surprisingly good as a comfort character.
Today was just not your day. You've had these days. The ones when you would feel like you were about to cave inward. The days that you feel your strong front collapse because of the stress and pressure you exert on yourself.
Today isn't any different. Everyone in your class is constantly testing the limits, sky-rocketing past boundaries, while you...well, you...
You're just learning how to grow and improve. U.A. is a school where you need to aim for the top if you don't want to be left behind. Because of this, you feel like you're slipping further and further behind in class.
Momo is good at academics. Shoto is good at combat. Everyone is improving while you're trying so hard not to seem like a failure.
You're not bad, per se. But just seeing your classmates overcome their own boundaries and overtake you sow seeds of deep insecurity in your heart.
Today, was the day something finally snaps.
Bakugou comes over to help you study, armed with assessment books and dons thinned-rimmed glasses that make him look more intelligent and more mature. He still yells, mind you.
Every time you get a question wrong, he screams his head off while pointing out where you went wrong. He waits for you to solve the problem, and if you get it wrong again, the cycle continues. Rinse and repeat.
It got to the point when you were on the brink of tears, drawing a shaky breath as Bakugou eyeballed you write your equations with a quivering hand. You knew you'd asked for his help, even mentally fortressed yourself to focus on what you can do to improve, but...
"Dumbass, come on! This problem's fucking easy, an idiot like you can handle it!" Bakugou barks.
It's a final nudge over the delicately crafted wall that blocks out your emotions. A droplet of sorrow weasels its way past your defences, and your dam breaks.
Tears of helplessness flood your eyes as they splatter on your paper, your shaky hand pausing as you attempt to control these overwhelming feelings of inferiority gushing out.
Bakugou's still here, he can see everything, you scream at yourself...but your tears can't stop flowing. You just sit there, frozen, with tears streaming down your face and a trembling hand clutching your pencil so hard it could break.
Bakugou practically reels at the sight of you crying.
"I-I'm so sorry, Bakugou, I just," You sniffled, nose getting clogged up. "It's just...I-give me a minute," Grabbing a couple of tissues, you hastily blow your nose, trying to salvage the scrapes of dignity you have left.
"W-We can continue now, I just-" You try to clear your voice, or at least stable it to some degree. "That was just-"
"Fuck work, Y/n," He states bluntly, noticeably calling you by your first name. He tosses the book off your desk, slams his glasses on it and spins your chair to face him. "What, in the name of everloving hell is going on? Nah, don't shake that pretty little head of yours. Don't you lie to me," He snarls, words softening. "You're going through shit and you're clearly struggling, so What. Is. It."
A new round of tears hit your eyes as you choke back a sob. "I just-" Your voice is barely coherent now. Your watery eyes meet his, and it makes your breath hitch.
Bakugou's eyes were glowing with genuine care. Under those piercing, vermilion-red eyes, you can see his raw intentions laid bare.
He cares.
The words spill from your mouth as you babble, forcing yourself to admit the things you've wanted to hide, deny or avoid this entire term.
How you spent the entire lesson on Mathematics just barely grasping the teacher's words.
How hard you've been working.
How everything you do or try still makes it seem your improvement rate is put on the lowest setting of a slow-moving conveyor belt.
And Bakugou just...listens. He sits there patiently with an attentive gaze, each word you say making his eyes gaze softer and softer until it reeks of empathy for you.
He lets you explain how you feel, and doesn't say a word as you stuff your face with tissues and strewn them on the ground.
"You done?" He asks gruffly when you stop talking, making you nod your head vigorously at him. His eyes narrow on you, "Good,"
In a flash, he stands up and grabs you, pulling you into his embrace as he wraps his warm, comforting arms around you.
"Now listen here, Y/n," He says, voice hushed but holding conviction. "I'll say this once and I'll say it until it gets into that thick skull of yours. You have no right to work yourself down that hard. I don't care what words you're branding yourself as inside that blasted mind of yours, but you are not a failure."
He takes a deep breath and continues. "You are fucking incredible no matter how stupid you think you are, and you're already working even harder than most extras in our level. So can you please stop hurting my Y/n and realise how amazing you really are?"
Your breath catches.
My Y/n.
You must be going deaf or something. There's no way in a million years that he'd call you that.
"Bakugou-"
"Say it."
"I-I-" You bury your head into his shoulder, stumbling over the embarrassingly confident words he described you with. "I'm not a failure," Your voice wobbles. Bakugou raises an eyebrow. "And?"
"I'm fucking incredible." You say, heat rushing to your cheeks.
You both pull away as you wipe your tears away. Bakugou cracks a satisfied grin. "Good. Now screw this shit, we're getting a tub of ice cream in here. You need a goddamn break."
He doesn't fix your problems magically overnight. But that caramel ice cream is a sinful treat as Bakugou makes you take a nap right after the tub is finished.
It's the best sleep you've had in months.
--
When Kirishima hears about this the next day, he is adamently shocked that the both of you can so boldly claim that you're still "just friends".
Katsuki Bakugou is truly, a fucking idiot.

Toki Reads Shonen Jump 2024, Issue #51
HxH: A Kakin soldier, Borksen, is captured by the Heil-Ly; Morena tries to recruit Borksen through a complicated and clearly rigged card game. Welcome back, Cipher Academy.
Yozakura: Tsubomi tells the twins how they can save Kyoichiro from sacrificing himself; the key is Rei's heart, which is only present because Hifumi previously spared Nii; Momo and Taiyo are freed of Asa's control. Hifumi's kindness is retroactively proven to be objectively correct, trumping any strategy or logic from the rest of the cast
Undead Unluck: Fuuko activates Remember, successfully upgrading the entire cast and allowing Julia to steamroll all of the Master Rules. Seems rushed at first, until you realize that Soul still hasn't been dealt with, and Julia just taught him a new facet to his Rule...
Roboco: Roboco writes her own relationship chart and can't help but ship herself with JJK's Gojo and Blue Box's Taiki. Watching Roboco fall into her delusions in real time is certainly a ride, and I'm really hoping that this chapter spawns a new meme template
Sakamoto: Tenkyu pulls off some sick tricks with his bow; Atari saves Shin with one of the most romantic displays of fate I've seen in Jump outside of UU. After all of that, it's going to be so funny when it turns out that Heisuke is her soulmate
EluSam: Kojiro's cousin, Kojiro, arrives to aid the team, but Uesugi sends Nagao to aid Sadamune. It looks like we're going to wrap up Kojiro's character arc soon, since his family and nemesis are converging
Witch Watch: The flashback continues and we see the rivalry between Moi and Kanshi's dads forming. All of the comments are suspicious of the kappa guy, Taiga, but I don't remember enough of the story so far to understand why
Blue Box: Chinatsu comes clean to her dad about her relationship with Taiki, and he tries to take her way; to compromise and make things easier on Chinatsu, Taiki volunteers to live with her dad in her stead. Chad move, honestly, props to you kid
Akane-Banashi: Issho and Shiguma approach Kiroku Kashiwaya to become his apprentices, but are initially turned away until they make amends with the soba shop owner; they learn of Kiroku's past in the army. I don't fully understand what made Kiroku accept them, but I was certainly touched by their apology scene
Kill Blue: The Butler/Maid Cafe uses underhanded tactics, selling idol merch, wearing cat-ears and sending scummy dudes to harass Noren; Noren awakens a femdom fetish in said dudes. We have yet to establish any real stakes aside from pride in this battle, but at least it's funny
Nue: Gakuro is revealed to have done some extra training off-screen with Hakutaku and manages to beat Rido with his new move, Massacre Gear. Not only is that a bad name for a move inspired by Gakuro's friendships, I truly don't understand what it does or how he acquired it; the presentation of events is sloppy, and the exposition of the power system is coming at an odd time
Kagurabachi: Billy Samura explains his motives to Uruha, claiming that he's going to use the Hishaku to eliminate the Swordbearers and then personally wipe out the less experienced Hishaku once they have the Enchanted Blades; Uruha understands his reasoning, but opposes his methods; as Uruha is killed, Hakuri manages to summon Chihiro. Compelling, but Samura seems kind of shortsighted here, since his plan is to ALLOW THE HISHAKU TO HAVE THE BLADES! They will definitely hurt more innocents before he gets to them!
Chojo: Kirara challenges Lily at the arcade and loses at everything, but they form a friendly rivalry. Every comment I saw agreed they should kiss.
Astro Royale: Kinpa takes a page out of MHA and realizes her invisibility can be used to refract light into a laser. I like that she was able to find an alternate use for her Astro, but it felt really sporadic; at least it suggests that other Astros can be upgraded too
Kiyoshi: On the brink of despair, Kiyoshi remembers Yamada's advice to breathe through his fears and gains the upper hand against Asuta. This definitely looks like an axe, but Asuta could escape OR it could turn out he's not the strongest enemy available afterall
Hima-Ten: On the bus to the school trip, Tenichi and Honoka lose at bingo and are forced to sing bad karaoke, but get to go to a coveted date spot as a consolation prize; Himari gives out lip balm that brings good luck in love, but ends up with one left over for herself. I appreciate that we're not dancing around Honoka's feelings, but if Himari is going to be competition, I wish someone would tell her that
Ichi: Shirabedonna suggests revealing Ichi to the world, but the Silver Snow Witch, Togeice, counters that Ichi needs to be taught proper manners first; Shirabedonna proposes that Togeice and Ichi compete to see who can capture a mushroom Magik first. Most of the comments seem to expect Ichi to lose to force a school arc, but I'm expecting this to show off Ichi's style a bit more
Shinobi Undercover: Hachikuma is revealed to fight with strings; Aoi is weirdly calm and keeps talking about fun upcoming events until she gets knocked out; Yodaka manages to take her back, and the fight intensifies. I assume that Aoi's positivity is her coping mechanism for losing her family, and she's not actually as calm as she appears to be
Hakutaku: Hikuma and Noto convince Zenji to help them make their next game; two months later, Noto very creepily convinces a bunch of kids to download what turns out to be an AR game. Wasn't this...supposed to be about dodgeball...?
Syd Craft: A master detective turns out to just be a savant at observation who just wants to know love; despite constantly finding out his love interests are murderers, Syd never realizes that his plucky assistant, Elio, is actually a girl in disguise or that his rival inspector, Souffle, is actually his childhood friend, both of whom are in love with him. Love the premise on its face, but right away it's another harem manga with no clear leading heroine, so time will tell if it's me or Tsutsui who truly Never Learns
Of everything this week, I'd say that Sakamoto Days was actually my favorite; Tenkyu's bow stunts were very cool, and Atari invoking impossible probability to make a gun out of scrap metal is a fun image that will stick with me for a while
UU would have been my favorite if not for the character moments it unfortunately skims over, most notably Tatiana and Billy's reunion. I still have faith that Tozuka is building up to something great, but that moment at least has been lost
Syd Craft's introduction is a lot of fun, I just hope that Tsutsui actually goes the poly route this time, or at least includes one if he does the multi-ending trick again
Supposedly next week or the week after we're going to be seeing a manga by ONE, Bug Ego, moving in from Young Jump; I don't know if it's going to start over or just pick up where it left off, or even if this is only a temporary move, but I'm worried about whether it will necessitate that something else gets the boot. At the moment it's looking like Kiyoshi, but I really hope not

ATLA Live-Action Series
So.
I just finished the season, and there are some good things, and... some bad things :|
I have purposefully not engaged with what the rest of the internet think about it since it came out so keep that in mind. All I know is that it's not been well received and people hate the acting (all from other people telling me in person rather than me looking it up).
Let's start with what I consider the good bits:
Sokka is funny
Iroh is amazing as always
Zuko is pretty good, but specifically amazing with Iroh
Admiral Zhao is even more detestable
The bending looks pretty good (minus the ice sledding)
Iroh's backstory made me cry like the animated series (it's the goddamn music ok!)
The cabbage man makes an appearance
Firelord Ozai is cast and acted well
Suki is great
Ok, I think that's probably the extent of the actually good. Now for the absolute wreck that is the issues:
The removed Sokka's misogyny, a key aspect of his character development
Aang isn't running away from his duties as the Avatar (and doesn't at the start either), despite it being a key character trait he works through. However, everyone is gaslighting him into thinking he has been?
Katara and Aang are simply not acted well. They are the youngest cast members, but it's incredibly forced and not really written well to begin with.
Katara has become Gandhi. Well, is trying to be. She just keeps blurting out inspirational messages and not saying much else.
THEY CHANGED THE ORDER OF EVENTS. This doesn't have to be an issue, but it is when it's done in a way where story-lines no longer make sense. i.e. Sokka meets Suki before they go to the northern water tribe and meet Yue. Basically Sokka kinda cheated on Suki and just doesn't care. (There are several more examples of this)
Aang literally doesn't bend a single drop of water himself. As in, NOTHING (giant water monster doesn't count)
Katara and Aang don't end up getting trained at the Northern Water Tribe. Like. At all.
Katara is labelled a "Master Waterbender" and now has to train Aang???? Ummm, what?
Aang can just fly now. Glider don't glide, it fly. It woosh over continent in a single day!
That brings me to, WHAT EVEN IS TIME. Apparently going from a small village in the middle of nowhere to Roku's temple in the middle of the Fire Nation takes a day by glider (Katara and Sokka were just sleeping and weren't for long enough to worry about food or water)
Ozai is happy to sacrifice half his navy to "distract them while we take Omashu". Which is so far away from the Northern Water Tribe that the distraction wasn't needed.
It's Book 2 with Book 1's ending?????
The old people are clearly young guys with old age makeup. Apparently they can't get older guys anymore? (Except Iroh :)
Aang keeps talking to the previous Avatars but not actually getting anything out of it.
Apparently he has to be at a temple to talk to the past Avatars now.
Azula is introduced prior to the Northern Water Tribe fight
We see Ozai's face. It removes the mystery and power behind his presence
What is up with Jet? He's now a bomb placing terrorist. Not too far from accurate but still
Oh and his base sucks. Literally only like 2 meters off the ground at most.
I'm sure I have forgotten some atrocities, and there are several things that are ok that I haven't mentioned (Momo and Appa look fine) but overall, it's fine, I've watched worse shows, but it's not that great. Just watch it for Iroh.

Momo X Nayeon
Word Count: 869
A/N: First of all, this isn't smut and never gonna be. Might be some parts when look like we going to reach that point, but I'm not planning to put a smut scene on this story. Also this still have some adult themes and mention of sex, so be careful.
I started writing this time ago, in fact a year and a few days ago, and I'm posting here now to force me to start writing again. Hope you can enjoy this.
And as the end of this A/N I let you with a little summary.
Summary: Momo is in a big predicament because she doesn't know what to do with her relationship with Nayeon. To be honest she actually doesn't even know if that relationship exists.
Chapter 1: Not a good enough coffee
This has to end, it definitely has to end. It’s what Momo was thinking at that exact moment. Somehow, things had to change because, frankly, she couldn’t take it anymore.
The aroma of the cup of coffee that she had in her hands was not enough to get her out of her reverie. For a long time her mind was wandering to distant places, trying to find a solution to her predicament; solution that she was clearly not finding.
Finally what managed to get her out of her trance were the footsteps that were approaching her and the audible yawn of the owner of those footsteps. Nayeon appeared in the living room yawning as she tied her hair into a ponytail. She was completely barefoot, actually all Momo could see that she was wearing was Momo’s own shirt; the one she had been using the day before.
"Good morning!" Nayeon greeted going straight to the kitchen to attack the refrigerator.
She didn't even have a kiss to receive the day, she couldn't even have that. Momo thought as the other girl made herself a sandwich. "Good morning. I made coffee.”
"No offense." Nayeon said with her mouth half full from her sandwich. “But you know I would never take that. It's not you, it's Me." She even dares to joke around, wow! How bold.
Momo didn't know how to answer that, she just wanted to stand up and kiss her. Ask her how she had slept, and if she wanted them to have lunch together. Things normal couples would do, but of course the two of them weren't a normal couple. They weren't really a couple, and at this point Momo didn't even understand what they were. Or if they were something.
They had known each other for something like a year, and had been sleeping together for a few months. Not dating or anything, just sleeping together from time to time. Usually in Momo's apartment. But the fact of never having talked about the situation, never having defined how this was going to be had ended up wreaking havoc on the girl sitting on the sofa.
She knew that she shouldn't be feeling that kind of thing, that in this kind of relationship she wasn't allowed to fall in love. But was it really that bad to have feelings? Could she really not afford to talk about it with Nayeon? Maybe the girl was going through the same thing as her. A remote option, but possible after all.
And there was Momo again rambling, lost in her thoughts without listening to what the other girl was saying. She half curled up on the sofa, holding a cup of coffee that she thought tastes pretty good. Also dressed only in one of her t-shirts and underwear. Completely disheveled and sore from last night. But at least she had been good, he was always good with Im Nayeon.
Again what snapped her out of her trance was Nayeon's footsteps, she just caught a glimpse of her being late for work before a shirt fell on her head.
A worn T-shirt, smelling of yesterday's sweat and other things she preferred not to think about right now.
The next time she saw Nayeon again it was when she came out of the bathroom. Momo was in her bed, trying to distract himself with her phone when she saw her get out of it still with wet hair and completely naked.
“Don't say anything, I don't have time to dry my hair. I'm late, again." She watched her dress in a hurry, collecting her things from the floor of the room. Where they had been scattered here and there the night before.
“You work in a uniform, no one is going to see your clothes anyway.” Momo anticipated what she knew her "Friend" was about to say. She knew how vain Nayeon could be sometimes with such things.
“I have to be presentable in case I run into some cute boy.” Nayeon said as she played with her hair. Momo just stared at her with wide eyes. She couldn't believe she'd said that, especially not after spending the night doing unholy things with her again.
"Well, I'm leaving. Bye. I hope to see you soon." She then smiled at Momo with that wonderful smile that for some people showed a lot of teeth, but for her Momo was more than perfect, and she blew her a kiss. Then Nayeon practically ran out of Momo's apartment, leaving her confused and speechless.
Momo grabbed a pillow and pressed it hard against her face, muffling a yell of frustration. “I think I hate you, Im Nayeon.” She said aloud throwing the pillow against a wall, more to try to convince herself than anything else. But the reality was that she was far from hating her. Defeated, she also undressed and got ready to take a shower, she couldn't afford to be late either. Mina would kill her, especially if she found out why she was late.

Listen. I'm no My Hero Academia hater. It's very unique, very high quality, lots of good twists, great
BUT. Big butt
I would have to totally added 2-3 more Seasons because the ending is a bit unsatisfying/rushed
Like the seasons I would have added is:
After the hero exam/training arc: some people got power-ups and upgrades and they never addressed it. And some people who I personally think could have had great power-ups didn't get any.
Jiruo, Denki, Ochaco, Momo, Ida, Koji and Sero, being examples of characters that could have got an upgrade but didn't or characters that got an upgrade off main plot.
We know that Ida did have have a mini-arc with the whole "you killed my brother thing" but he's a very 1 dimensional guy for being a secondary main character/very important side character.
I feel like a season with one episode per student dedicated to how they got their power improvements could make the reader/ viewer, feel more sympathetic and connected to the characters because we get to see some of their struggles even if they're not on screen.
The plot of these episodes, idk but you're telling me that jiruo didn't stick her headphone-jack into a electric guitar to see if it would do something???
Season 2 added: a bit before the war
This could have been a season or at minimum 10 episodes, but we needed more slice of Life content. They're 16/17yr old. I understand that the sports Festival and the school fair were meant to be the slice of life and high school bits but it is kind of overshadowed by the fact that they go to one of the best schools in Japan and they all have superpowers. It makes them seem a bit more privileged then relate.
A small bit where characters have genuine high school level problems we would be nice. Like finding best place to study but getting distracted bc of something. Or HAVING AT LEAST 1 NON-MAIN SHIP BE TOUCHED. Or what I find needs to be explored a bit more clearly is that they bring up the racism in the world but it's never a big thing.
It's kinda a "oh yeah spinner is evil because blah blah blah" or so and so is insecure because of this.
Having it play out but the characters acknowledging that they're the bigger person could show just how far they've come in schooling and not just a one-off thing. Because it its that serious of a problem that a major villain is made of it then why isn't it show more?
And have the parallels of Spinner and Shoji, I'm having them inadvertently lead the build up to seeing all the villains be parallels of the heroes could strengthen the divide of people and could cause more conflict/more thinking.
And finally, a season detailing future explanations of how Deku actually became the number one hero like he said he would at the start of the series.
Because (spoilers) he does lose a lot of his powers by the end of the series, so does he gain them back through will power? Does Eri reverse the effects so that he's a hero but he has to relearn all the techniques because he was sent back to the time that he couldn't really control it? Having another season to clear up the aftermaths of the war and seeing everyones future would be the best to round out the series. Good or bad.
Also tf is Deku's farther??
#I loved mha BUT I'm a bit picky not saying it wasn't good cause it was but like every good series their had to be wrong to do right#my hero academia#my hero acedamia#mha#mha spoilers#boku no hero academia#suggestions#Mha extention ideas

👀Kirishima popular with men and not boruto uglified unhappy married with a woman? Fuck everything else i won(ill take this crumb i was so scared 💀)and my girlss momo, mina, jiro, tsuyu and specially ochaco my fav <3 love seeing them doing ok this is my win, bkdks can have whatever they want idgaf if the girls, some others charas. and my token gay kr (beloved)implied are ok. The rest is to much to unpack i pretend i do not see it atleast it could have been worse, what did you think rival?
honestly i’m really happy with it! i’m really happy that you can tell horikoshi was losing interest in including the obligatory romance and he actually followed through with having uraraka and deku both move on from it, but at the same time in the penultimate chapter they still hugged without it reading as confirmation that they’re in love or whatever. made me happy!! even ships that seemed plausible and like hori was leaning towards them (kamijirou for example, which i actually think is rly cute) weren’t explicitly “confirmed” and i think that’s really refreshing. for such a quintessential shounen manga to move away from the obligatory romance is really dope to me as someone who loves shounen but hates obligatory romance, lol.
especially having just watched naruto, where kishimoto clearly thinks that a person cannot be considered “fulfilled and successful” if they’re not married, despite that not being relevant to the plot up to that point at all, it makes me happy to see hori not falling in the same pitfall. id say the bar is on the floor but it happens literally so often that it’s a genre staple so i think it actually is deserving of a little credit that he moved away from it so completely.
kirishima is gay ☝️ this i know. everyone has known this forever. he’s always been coded gay. it’s one of those situations where whether hori meant it or not (i lowkey find it hard to believe he didn’t recognize what he was doing) it is true, and a hero popular with men is the nail in the proverbial rainbow coffin. i was also glad that he got an aside becuz he’s been sort of left behind by the focus of the story for quite a while it seemed like hori had forgotten that he was such a key player for a while in the middle, so even though i’m still sad his relationship with bakugou was all but forgotten he did still get a nod at the end that most other characters didn’t get.
REALLY LOVE THAT MIRIO IS THE NEW NUMBER ONE AND NOT BAKUGOU. because mirio is literally more talented than him.
pissed about deku getting that tech that lets him be a hero again. i think honestly with the theme of not all people are created equal but we must love and support each other and find our niches nonetheless, it kind of loses its punch of deku to just. have a quirk still essentially. i thought him losing it was dope, and for him to remain the greatest hero of all time but have to pass on the torch because his time in the spotlight was over, whether it was luck or hard work he couldn’t stay a hero forever. because when it comes down to it he was born quirkless, and actually that’s okay, because he still has knowledge and talent and love to offer the world and he still has friends who love him. but whatever. tch
even though they didn’t go through with it, i really loved that all might was the one to suggest eliminating the popularity aspect of the hero chart completely. i think it really demonstrated how much HE has also grown over the course of the series, what he has learned and how his values have changed. i honestly think that would’ve been a better conclusion than whatever mixed bag thing hawks was setting up but it’s whatever. i think more structural changes are necessary and there should’ve been more explicit exploration into what those would look like imo, rather than just “people are nicer now cuz deku inspired them to be nice”. it’s not that it’s BAD because ultimately the structural issues of bnha’s world stemmed from social attitudes, and if those attitudes changed then that’s the first step to uplifting people born with scary or unusual quirks or born as heteromorphs, but at the same time it doesn’t give you the feeling that this peace is going to last.
LOVED DEKU’S FINAL CONVERSATION WITH SPINNER. I LOVE SPINNER AND I LOVE HIS WHOLEHEARTED LOVE AND DEDICATION TO SHIGARAKI AND I LOVED THE FOCUS HE GOT AT THE STORY’S TAIL END AND SEEING HIS REACTIONS TO HOW SHIKAGRAKI WAS CHANGING UNDER ALL FOR ONES INFLUENCE
anyways not perfect by any means, but i’m happy with it ^_^ horikoshi bit off a lot and i think i’m okay with how he decided to tie it off. i think platonic bakudeku is fun and interesting but i think it was better when it was bakugou crying suddenly cuz he thought he’d never be able to compete with deku again since he lost his quirk. if deku gets his quirk back it’s like okay. whatever. would’ve liked to see him continue to respect deku when he was quirkless again. but it’s fine. i still maintain that ppl who think they’re romantically involved don’t get it at all

(kissing, public area my bad... but i'll fokn do it again) A/N: I wrote this during a break from my EX series, because man am I on a writers block to end one of the chapters, but I think this helped and It will be coming soon I swear so pls accept this little Jeongin fic as a peace offering dfgvbskjbg
And just like that, everything you had built up came crumbling down. Every wall you had built up was being torn away by the wrecking ball that was Yang Jeongin.
The night had started off fine, your friend Momo had begged you to join her at a party she barely wanted to go to, and after asking a million and one times why not just stay in instead; you had been thoroughly convinced that a party would be just what the two of you needed.
A break from the studying, and pain in the ass that was college life.
“I still don’t get why we’re here.” you complained as the two of you walked up the steps of the home the party was being hosted in, the music blaring through the closed door; only to be made louder as you made your way inside. “You didn’t even want to come.”
“I know but,-” she paused as someone caught her eye, and it hit you. The real reason she pulled herself out of the dorm room to venture out into an unforgiving territory.
College parties are fun, but they are (in your mind) truly unforgiving. One mistake, one little thing to embarrass yourself and the entire campus will know before you even have a chance to wake up and process the excruciating pain of a hangover migraine.
“Got it,” you huff as the two of you push past the crowd of people all mingling, dancing, and clearly drunk out of their minds; all letting themselves forget that it's a Thursday night and you all have classes in the morning, because whoever had the bright idea to host a rager on a weekday clearly had the right idea in most people's eyes because FUCK exams right?
You had made the conscious decision not to drink tonight, because you truly didn’t want to attend tomorrow morning's lecture with a killer headache, unable to eat, and feeling like death incarnated. So instead you followed Momo around as she said hello to all her classmates, ones you barely knew.
You and Momo may be friends, but you don’t share the same major. While she focused on the dramatic arts, you focused on architectural design. Most of the people attending this party happened to be in the arts and so you felt mostly left out.
“Y/N?” a voice sounds from behind you, you turn to see your classmate walking towards you with a wide grin plastered on his face, “Y/N what are you doing here,” he laughed,
“Oh I came with- '' you turned to point out Momo who had disappeared in the three seconds it took to acknowledge Jeongin. “Momo, but it seems I may have lost her.” Jeongin let out a laugh as you looked around the room, trying your hardest to find your friend.
“Makes sense, you don’t really seem like the party type of person,” he smirks as he takes a drink from his cup. In all honesty, you aren’t a party person. Big crowds of people isn’t really your thing, and you’d much rather have a few drinks at home with a few of your close friends around. One it’s just more fun to have people you trust around you while you’re drunk, and two it lessens the risk of anything going wrong, but Jeongin didn’t need to know that.
“Bold of you to assume I don’t like parties.” you scoff. It was a mistake saying that, and you knew that clearly as the smirk returned to Jeongin’s face only this time, with a hint of mischief in it. Within a split second the boy had your wrist in his hand, as he dragged you through the home and to the kitchen, smiling as he pushed a bottle of soju your way.
“Prove it. Y/L/N,”
“I don’t have to prove anything to you Yang Jeongin.” you rolled your eyes, ready to walk away. You weren’t drinking tonight.
Until you were.
Six shots in and laughing loudly as Jeongin entertained you, pouring the both of you another one.
“Seriously Y/N, I didn’t think you’d actually give in,” he laughs, “You looked like you were going to punch me earlier,” you quickly take back your shot, the taste of the soju had begun to ease from the harsh perfumy alcohol to an easily taken sweet drink. Your mind was hazing, and the room spinning, but yet everything was warm and Jeongin was funnier now that you’d had more to drink. Of course you’d always thought of him as funny, and maybe kind of cute. But you never really spoke to him until now. Maybe in passing a few times during one of your shared classes but you never spent time with him outside of class. So when he took your hand and dragged you outside to the backyard to sit and talk, it took you a bit by surprise. Sure there was an initial shock of him dragging you to drink with him, but you’d assumed it was because it was only the two of you from your major at this party, so you just thought he wanted some sort of familiarity.
Until every person that came through the kitchen stopped to say hi to him, and he’d have to introduce you to them.
Everyone knows Jeongin.
Jeongin sat beside you as the two of you spoke about yourselves, getting to know one another outside your class. It was weird talking to him for something other than a project or homework, but it was nice. The alcohol giving both of you the boost of confidence to speak to one another, because despite barely knowing him you couldn’t deny he was good looking, easy to speak to and of course funny. You couldn’t help but have a small crush on him, even though he’d probably never think of you in that way.
Except he did.
The moment Jeongin had seen you at the party, his mind already hazed from the drinks he’d already had, he knew it was his chance to try and get to know you. He wanted to know the person he’d catch himself staring at in the middle of a lecture, the person who sat in the row in front of him. The person who’s designs would surely make the next big thing in the architectural world. He was fascinated by you.
You didn’t often speak to a lot of people, and mostly kept to the few friends you already had. You did your work quietly, and diligently. You were passionate about the subject and he truly admired it. Though he had only found a few excuses to talk to you, by using the class assignments; he knew in the first few interactions he needed to know more. And so when you walked in, and decided to drink with him, he took that chance to try and get to know you better.
He listened as you spoke about yourself, about your interests and dislikes; and he couldn’t help but think to himself I’m fucked. Because he was truly and deeply starting to fall for you. It wasn’t his fault you were so god damn smart, and it wasn’t his fault you always looked so fucking good. How was anyone expected to not have some sort of crush on you when you walked around so confidently, so sure of yourself, so perfectly?
He couldn’t help but let his thoughts wander as you spoke, your lips just looked so soft, and his eyes kept wandering to them, quickly snapping back up every time he realized he was staring. But you didn’t notice, he was still safe. But the alcohol kept pushing him, and pushing him.
“Jeongin?” You asked as he shook his head, trying to clear his mind as if it worked like an etch-sketch. “You okay?”
“Uh, yeah sorry. Just thinking about something, sorry.” His face burnt into a light pink blush,
“What about?” he didn’t offer an answer, only stared at you, and down at your lips.
“Fuck.” He breathed out, before cupping your face and softly kissing you. Is this okay? Fuck. I shouldn’t have done that. He thought as you pulled away, eyes softly fluttering back open as he looked at you, i’m about to get fucking slapped. He thought, as he mentally prepared for the inevitable. But you didn’t. You just looked at him, with softness in your eyes, as if you’d just been waiting for him to make some sort of move. “Sorry,” he whispered as he looked to his hands, fiddling with the cup he held.
A minute of silence passed before he looked back up at you, still you looked at him with soft eyes. Maybe it was a bad idea, maybe it wasn’t but fuck did he want to do it again, but this time you beat him to it, closing the gap between the two of you kissing him softly, and almost needily. He set his cup down as gracefully as he could before turning a bit to be able to wrap his arms around your waist, pulling you into him as much as he could without you literally being on top of him on the patio set outside the party. People opened the door only to close it when they saw the two of you but neither of you cared, both of you too distracted in the warmth of the other to even consider what you were doing and where.
What started as a soft kiss quickly became a very heated makeout session, and you were ready to just get on him, let him have you in any way he wanted. But with the slightest move he pulled back, “Not here.” he mumbled as he grabbed your hand pulling you back into the house, bringing you into the closest washroom. Once the door was shut he was back on you kissing you like he’d never get the chance to again. You reached your hand up his shirt, as he shuddered at the sensation of your touch, as he pulled you tightly against his body.
And just like that, everything you had built up came crumbling down.
Every wall you had built up was being torn away by the wrecking ball that was Yang Jeongin. You had spent most of your time in college so focused on just getting through it. After your first failed relationship, and then your second you’d decided that maybe just focusing on your work would do you better. Who needs a boyfriend when school life fucks you everyday right?
Wrong because what you felt, that need to be touched. And specifically by him, was taking over every cell within your body. Part of it may have been the fact that you were quite touch starved, the other part may have been the alcohol but everything felt right with him. He knew how to kiss you, where to touch to get the reaction he wanted out of you. As if he’d known your body for years and knew just exactly what it needed.
“Fuck you don’t know how bad I’ve wanted to do this,” he sighs, kissing you harshly again.
A knock on the bathroom door sends the both of you out of your heated daze, your makeup smudged, and lipstick staining his lips from the kiss.
“Y/N?” Momo called from outside the door, “Hurry up I wanna go home,” she sighed,
“Yeah coming!” you said shakily as Jeongin heald in a laugh,
“Not yet, but I mean-” He joked,
“Fuck, we are too drunk for this.” You sigh, Jeongin smiles running his hand through your hair before kissing you again,
“We are,” he whispers, “So maybe next time.” he reaches for the door handle slowly opening it as you look to him,
“You sure that’s not the alcohol talking?” you ask,
“Not at all love.” he smiles before exiting, leaving you there to wonder what ‘Next time’ meant.
Your walk back to your dorm with Momo was a blur, both of you too drunk to really be walking home alone, but somehow you managed to make it home safely. Momo crashing on her bed as you took your severely messed up makeup off in the washroom.
Your phone buzzes, and you quickly glance at it,
Jeongin; dinner? Sunday? With me… you know so I Can properly confess, and not in some washroom drunk at a random party?

*raises hand slowly* major fan, love your work! I actually only recently discovered your Bleach works in the last few years and I think I've reread all of them at least 3 times. But after reading your "The Greatest Family in Soul Society" series, I've been wanting to ask: How do you think they reacted/handled the aftermath of events in the Bleach Special One-Shot? Specifically Ichika, who possibly for the first time witnessed one of her parents in legitimate danger?
But anyway, CONGRATS ON 1 MIL!!! YOU DESERVE IT! :)
Thank you very much!! 💕
So for starters, if the Hell Arc every actually becomes a thing, I strongly suspect that this will be get addressed on-screen. Kubo clearly intended both Ichika and Kazui to have prominent (although probably not protagonist-level) roles. If this happens, Rukia and Renji will probably either handle this in some terrible way that causes Ichika to feel like she has to go against them and redeem herself or they'll get, like, trapped in Hell or something and she and Kazui will have to go rescue them. It is incredibly rare to see good relationships between parents and their children portrayed in fiction, and my expectations are on the floor for this one.
I talked to my husband about this for a long time this morning because I couldn't think of a single example of a good parent-child relationship in media where both characters have roughly equal narrative weight, and he couldn't either. Usually, the choices are a) parents dead or out of the picture, b) parents are awful and selfish and learn the error of their ways, or b2) generational trauma, which is the same, but parents bad behavior is excused because their parents did it to them. There is also c) stoic parent with lifelong duty raises stoic child to fulfill the same duty, which is the best of the lot, but it's still not great. It's also not really Renruki's style, especially because they've got Byakuya right there as an example of what being raised like this does to a person.
Maybe Kubo will come up with something interesting, though! I would love to see it if he did!
With all that out of the way, I'll lay out how I think it should go, or how it would go if I were writing it, I guess.
For starters, we are still in a shounen anime. Bleach plays the "young person witnesses an act of violence and is saved" card constantly. As anime goes, I think Bleach actually does a fairly decent job of acknowledging the trauma that goes along with this, but it's also usually deployed as a thing that spurs the "witness" character to want to get stronger. Furthermore, the witness character usually has no sort of support system and receives no comfort after the fact--Kensei saves child-Shuuhei and then calls him a wuss before peacing-out. I doubt Shin'ou had any sort of trauma support group for Renji, Momo, Izuru and Shuuhei after their disaster fieldtrip --in all likelihood, the attitude was more like "wow, you got to see Captain Aizen in action, how lucky for you!" Even in the aftermath of the scene where Renji rescues Jinta and Ururu, Jinta is shown sitting by himself rather than seeking comfort from either of his "parents" (who, granted, are focused on healing Ururu). That one has an added bonus ofJinta-has-always-treated-Renji-extremely-disrespectfully and then Renji saves him and gets gored pretty gruesomely.
In contrast, Rukia and Renji have both been on the "witnessed the trauma" side of this before, and never had adult figures in their life to help them process anything. They lost and buried three friends before they even went to shinigami school. I think they know how much that sucked and how much damage it did to them psychologically and would be pretty sensitive to what Ichika is feeling. It's actually kind of funny because if they hadn't gone through a lot of trauma together, they might just be stoic about it and think that maybe their own kid should just suck it up, but they were definitely able to see how much it affected the other one. Like, part of the reason they even had a kid was to try to make up for the shitty childhood the other one had to go through.
Rukia and Renji probably run a pretty weird household because on one hand, they spent their own childhood taking care of themselves and making their own decisions and living with the consequences. They did a lot of actual crime, like a lot. Trying to tell their kid what to do would feel like a weird overreach to them. On the other hand, they're soldiers, so they are used a formal discipline system where sometimes you get punished because that's how you learn and make up for your mistakes. Overall, though, I think they respect Ichika as a person they are trying to guide to adulthood, much the way you guide a green recruit into becoming a strong officer. Yeah, she shouldn't have snuck along on a mission for lieutenants, and now she knows why. They're probably still going to yell at her and make her sweep the yard or something, but that's she's their kid, and they know that waiving the punishment would make her feel even worse.
Also, while this may be the first time Ichika has witnessed her dad getting stabbed (and it may not be), it's not like this idea is new to her. I'm sure Rukia and Renji have come home with injuries before, or not come home, and she had to go visit them at the Coordinated Relief Station, or possibly had even go stay with Uncle B for a while. (Uncle B, whose own father actually did die in the line of duty and I've read at least one fanfiction where he was there). A thing I like about Rukia and Renji as characters is that they respect each other's decisions about what danger they are willing to walk into. If they err, it's generally on the side of not stopping each other enough, and I think that is both very stupid and very charming of them. It speaks to the overinflated confidence they have in each other, and also I am tired to death of overprotectiveness being spun as romantic, when 90% of the time it's just patronizing or selfish.
I guess to sum up, I'd say I would like to see Ichika come out of this with more respect for the gravity of her parents' job (vs. the 'dad and Ikkaku went to have fun without me no faaaaaiiirrr' attitude she started the one-shot with). It is interesting that she was able to see the Hell-guys when the lieutenants weren't able to. I hope that isn't something that just gets dismissed (and if nothing else, I think this is a case where Kyouraku as Head-Captain would be like "no I want to hear this" where Yamamoto would have been like "I don't listen to children!") I would prefer to see her get included in the action intentionally, where she's nervous about it, but trying to put up a front of bravado (both because she doesn't want anyone to know how much it scared her seeing her dad get stabbed trying to protect her and also because this is peak Young-Rukia-and-Renji behavior). Seeing what her parents are like on the job, realizing they're both extremely cool but also huge doofuses, and slowly gaining real confidence in herself because they show confidence in her would be a pretty refreshing story, imo.
#ichika abarai#no breaths from hell#i answered this b/c the asker was really nice and b/c it hasn't come up in a while so i'm sure some people weren't aware#but i generally do not take asks or requests about ichika#i tried real hard b/c i know people really like her and i wrote those stories in an attempt to make Parent Representation that I didn't hat#but a thing i learned while doing it is that#it's exhausting & unfun for me to have to think about renruki as parents i just want to think about them doing stupid things and making out#and i don't want to come off as a hater but i get SO many asks about her if i don't put my foot down#anyway this post comprises my ichika content for 2024. thank you in advance for your understanding.#i also want to say that i am not *advocating* raising your kid to be a child ghost soldier#rukia and renji are fictional characters in a fantasy warrior setting#i let my kid go skateboard by herself at the school playground we are not the same

I suspect a lot of people are going to have OPINIONS on episode two.
...it's not cutting sokka's sexism that weakened this one. it's cutting his arrogance about his warrior abilities and cutting suki's contempt for his grandstanding that weakens it.
they play the dynamic off like suki's curious about sokka because he's an outsider. the attraction between them is really played up. and instead of coming across like a talented fighter putting some idiot dude in his place, she comes off like she's almost...doing it accidentally. the scenes between them feel more genuine on her part, like she almost believes him when he says he's a warrior and wants to fight. it's...it's not as good.
it almost reminds me of the little mermaid, if I'm being honest, because they added this dimension to suki of having been isolated on kyoshi island her whole life and never getting to see the world. so she meets sokka and he's like this fascinating outsider who's been places and from a different culture and she's just enamored by that. and she is still a much better fighter than him, no question about that. but I feel like something was lost in the tension between them. it's all sexual tension now, there's no tension tension anymore. the animosity is gone. so it just doesn't hit the same.
suki's mom was pretty cool though. not sure she ever got a name?
lots of other changes to the story here, I don't even know if it's worth it to go through them all. kyoshi herself shows up and she's...kyoshi. that's a compliment. you know her, you love her. ken leung is going to be very interesting to continue watching as zhao. his character might be the change with the most implications, but we'll see how it unfolds. really like the performance though. all the fire nation characters have been really well done thus far. we also see our first look at ozai and I just know daniel dae kim is gonna nail this role.
the writing was overall better. less exposition and lore-dumping, still some coming from kyoshi about the avatar state, but not nearly as bad as episode one. there's just a lot of changes in this episode that are setting things up for how this season is going to play out. I knew they were going to have to eliminate the episodic nature of season one, but man they are really eliminating it. murdering it honestly. there's something sad about that because I know how much is going to inevitably get lost. there won't be much space for this story to breathe.
they ought to have had ten episodes, I think, instead of eight. I think I'm already feeling how compressed this version of the story is at only episode two.
but also momo is here now so like. there's that lol. overall I'm feeling kind of a mix of disappointment and intrigue with this one. the butchered sokka/suki dynamic drags this one down a lot for me.
also I'm still not happy with the portrayal of katara. and I don't think it's the actress, I know kiawentiio from anne with an e. I know she can play up emotion and anger and pain and trauma, and I know she can do joy and heartwarming friendship. but something's off with her take on katara, and it's either in the writing or directing, I think. they've just...neutered her. all her fire is gone and we're left with a girl that feels like a shell of her animated self. like the building blocks are there. she wants to be a waterbender. she really believes in aang. she's caring and compassionate. she's clearly traumatized by the death of her mother. she bickers with her brother sometimes, albeit not as much as in the original. but it's like the spark, that drive she had in the original just isn't there. she feels flattened out and dull. I don't feel this with the other characters...it really is a katara problem.
maybe it'll get better. but this isn't the same character. and when all the other leads do feel like the same characters, that's a problem.
...also, they threw the waterbending scroll into this episode as something gran-gran was hiding from katara for her safety, which...fine, but now we're not even gonna get that arc for katara. I just. ugh what have they done to my girl??

Day 11 - Carolling around
12 Days of Christmas | Masterlist
I knew that Tangerine wasn’t going to be ecstatic when we realized that the street we had picked for a last minute Christmas shopping spree was packed both with shoppers and singers.
Some of them were good, others had decided to impress their own twist on some holiday’s classics. It was fun to watch them having their own little groups of supporters, but Tangerine was more focused on the list he wanted to go through as quickly as possible. Apparently Lemon had changed his mind again while they were on a mission and Tangerine, while cursing and complaining, was determined to find the stuff his brother wanted. He also said something about a present for Momo but eluded my question about it.
It surely was someone from the other half of his life as I affectionately referred to that part of him that he was keeping far away from me, at all costs. Of course, I had a pretty good idea of what he did for a job. Careful not to give me too many details, he still wanted me to know what I was getting myself into, when it was clear we both wanted more than the occasional sex.
I knew he didn’t want to share anything – or at least the less he could because he wanted me safe, protected, shielded from a world where it seemed that violence and blood were the only type of currency used.
This Momo person was clearly inhabiting that part of his life. I wasn’t jealous, just curious. Tangerine was many things, but a cheater? Not at all. He could result a tad intense even in his affection, but he was loyal to the people he loved, loyal to the point of putting himself between them and whatever he feared could hurt them.
I offered to go with him because every second I didn’t spend with him right after he was back from a mission looked like a second wasted. He would blush at hearing that and then he would cover my face in kisses. Which he did, by the way.
A song captured my attention. It was a beautiful rendition of Darlene Love’s All Alone For Christmas.
I couldn’t avoid to stop and listen to the little choir, gently swaying on my feet like others were doing following the rhythm. Tangerine’s heavy sigh broke the magic “Wanna go on, luv?”
“Two minutes, T,” I smiled, nodding at the singers. He didn’t seem particularly impressed – nothing unusual – but he wasn’t bothered either, so I guessed I could consider it a success. He still stayed with me, shoulders softly touching, close like we both wanted to be when we were together.
When the song ended, I clapped and cheered, searching in my pockets for some spare coins.
“Here,” Tangerine murmured softly, pressing some change into my gloved hand. I quickly kissed him on a cheek, knowing that that was his favourite way to be thanked.
While we were leaving, I couldn’t quite hide my surprise he wanted to tip them.
“Are you calling me a cheapskate?” he huffed feigning annoyance, while wrapping his strong arm around my shoulders. I laughed and then sighed pleasantly surprised when he swallowed my cackles bending slightly and kissing me in the middle of the road.
“They weren’t bad, and I wanted to thank them. They made you smile.”
I stared at him, surprised by the sudden outburst of romanticism. I knew he was a bit embarrassed to be so soft. So not used to it.
For once, the one struggling with words it was me. I threw my arms around his neck, searching for another kiss. It was his favourite way to be thanked, after all.

Can you do a reading on what the twice members think about Jihyo?
wow these women are all about businesssss, let me tell you.
what do twice think about jihyo? based on tarot, take it with a grain of salt
nayeon
herm, 7ofw, emper, 6ofsw&highpr
something tells me these two aren't very close off cam. however, nayeon still has a lot of respect for jihyo and holds her in high regards. she knows that jihyo is a leader who will always have the member's backs and stand up for them when needed, so she acknowledges that she's clearly the one taking charge in group settings. nayeon also knows that twice can always rely on jihyo to make the right decision since she holds so much passion for them and knows being the leader comes with a lot of responsibility. she thinks that jihyo was blessed with great intuition that allows her to easily notice when a member is suffering, even without having to voice it.
jeongyeon
5ofw, 5ofsw, justice, 7ofc, queofsw&6ofp, 2ofc&8ofc
damn i feel like jeongyeon has been through a lot of injustice these past few years. not from her members or jihyo but from the company. there clearly was some sort of conflict with a lot of disagreements from higher ups or staff members and due to leaders having to balance the opinions between the two parties, group and company, jihyo stood in the middle and tried very hard to resolve the conflict. jeongyeon did see that jihyo was trying her best to support her while also remaining objective and make rational decisions. nonetheless, this dispute definitely did have a toll on their emotional bond and caused some friction. i don't think they're on bad terms at all, just not connecting much on an emotional level as of now.
momo
10ofw&3ofw, kingofc, 7ofc, 5ofp&aceofp
momo is another member who is very aware of all the responsibilities jihyo carries on her back. however, at the same time she knows the leader is very strong, does not fear any obstacles and is always up for a challenge. she views her as someone who has a very good grip on her emotions and is great at controlling them while also having a very caring side to her. she thinks that jihyo makes the members feel taken care of at all times and always has an open ear for whatever worries they might have.
sana
star, highpr, judg, fool+9ofc
to sana, jihyo is an amazing leader full of courage. she's a person who's had to face many difficult situations and has been able to experience a great deal of healing after undergoing a major transformation. by letting go of the past and fulfilling her dreams, she's become a major inspiration to the people around her and carries a lot of depth with her. sana sees her as highly intelligent and very well-educated and truly admires the brightly shining star jihyo has turned into after realizing her potential. they honestly give me the closest vibes so far. like sana is in awe of this woman. cute.
mina
10ofp, queofsw, pagofsw, 6ofw, 5ofp, 3ofw
mina really appreciates all the emotional stability that jihyo is able to bring the group. due to jihyo being very very observant in her eyes, she thinks the leader plays a very important role in always seeing the bigger picture and make calculated and objective remarks, even at times when things can become a little desperate. she sees jihyo as someone fiercely independent and powerful who isn't afraid to push herself to the limits, while doing it in a manner that continues to benefit the group in a long-term perspective.
dahyun
judg&char, 5ofw, kingofc&7ofp
dahyun thinks that the leader is someone bursting with determination to get to higher places with her group. despite having a very clear objective for the future, in dahyun's eyes she's someone always encouraging the members to keep an air of patience with them and wait for things to unfold. she offers a lot of emotional support to the group while consistently motivating everyone to keep working hard towards what they want to achieve. however, she realizes that the position jihyo is in can often lead to her getting into disagreements very easily. since there's so many opinions and insights she needs to juggle, she's someone who seems to have it all together but might sometimes hide her struggle to balance all the inevatible conflicts within the company.
chaeyoung
moon&aceofp, 10ofc, pagofp&strength
chaeyoung recognizes that jihyo was able to come out of a very uncertain and anxious point in her career in a very strong manner. over time, she's learned to face challenges and has the capability to bring much needed stability to moments in which other members might get a little lost in fear. to her, the leader is someone who has very high expectations and always seeks for perfection, as well as a person who transformed from a rather insecure and wavering girl to a powerful woman with a lot of persistence and stamina.
tzuyu
8ofw, judg, aceofw&temp, herm&hieroph
tzuyu sees jihyo as a highly motivated person who always has her eyes set on their goals and wishes for the future. i see that she's someone the maknae has been able to learn a lot from, whether it's in life or in their careers. especially when it comes to communicating, jihyo has always made sure to help her convey her opinions whenever she struggled with finding the right words. to tzuyu, the leader has a very wise soul and is great balancing out her strong sense of ambition with calmness.

a:tla la thoughts 1.2
so i guess instead of a bucket list, aang's leaving it to zuko's notebook of info to guide their journey which really is different from the original and i'm not sure i like it. it seems more like a typical american drama plot segway instead of everything atla is. like uhhhh
atla was so meticulously crafted and everything had a thousand different meanings. it's why there's so many analysis videos nowadays on every possible angle in the show and why they're so long every time. the writing has been praised so highly and for good reason. changing elements just to change it and having them be less intentional and less meaningful than the original is not great and it reflects. like, using the notebook isn't a big deal, but at the same time, why couldn't they just have gone the bucket-list route? especially if it took up the same amount of time? now there's most definitely gonna be a long scene of zuko getting the notebook back instead of, like, something they could've fit in that they didn't.
the water scroll is fine. but if they're cutting the pirate episode, it makes me wonder how they'll handle certain things. the pirates come back later bc zhao hires them to blow zuko's ship up before heading to the north pole. iroh's white lotus tile is given attention in a way that's not in-your-face abt it's later importance. there are little things in each episode that come back later.
sokka saying momo would taste like chicken i get is a joke but it rly took me out of the moment. is there poultry in your ice village???? are there regular chickens like anywhere in your world???? afaik the only non-combined animal is bosco the bear and the main cast thought that was weird. the joke still could've been made while actually using an animal sokka would've eaten before and, y'know, exists in the atla universe. like why was that necessary. that line was really approved? no one questioned it all the way thru post? what?
okay after watching the whole thing :) it's ten minutes shorter than the first and i didn't like the writing but the acting was noticeably better. the director in charge of this one is clearly different bc no one is reading lines like they're reading lines. that being said, a lot of the dialogue itself is... not great. through the episode.
i think what i said abt episode 1 applies here too: i don't mind the changes, but i hate the additions. zhao being at kyoshi island is fine. maria zhang is super pretty and i love her as suki. but i don't like what they did with suki's character in this episode. the village being closed off and her mother being in charge and such like yeah it's a change but it's not bad?
what was bad was all the stuff with kyoshi herself. aang is only able to connect with past avatars at their shrines???? o.k. i didn't like any of kyoshi's dialogue. i really really hope that wasn't the spirit world her and aang were talking in bc 1) no explanation to a critical aspect of the atla universe and 2) it looks awful. the purple filter would be fine without the strange blur lighting effect that makes everything hard to look at. not to mention that if that rly was their attempt at the spirit world, it just looked bad bc i could tell that it was a plain regular forest they were standing in. it didn't look otherworldly at all, it jus looked like a poor attempt at a filter. when hei bai was introduced, the spirit world aang enters into is still the village, but we know it's not exactly because he's outside his body and he can't interact with anything in the physical world, which sets it apart even if it looks the same. i'll give it another chance but uh. not liking it rn.
also i rly don't like the direction they're taking the show in. so they're going to the north not to find aang a waterbending teacher but to stop some impending conflict he was given cryptic flashes of. getting a teacher is only a pro of going in the first place. which means it'll be a race to get there in time to stop whatever's coming instead of a journey, which imo sucks all the life out of the show. atla is supposed to be an adventure travel too, not just cut-and-dry solving the 100 year war.
i said earlier cutting the pirate episode is fine, but i did forget a key detail that they didn't add back in at all when showing katara practicing the forms in the scroll: she doesn't have her jealousy spat with aang. katara hasn't been immature at all so far, and i hope that changes bc it's such a key part of her character that she has to overcome and it rly shows how much she's grown through their journey around the world. aang's holdups abt practicing bending makes me think they're gonna cut out jeong jeong and aang being impatient to learn firebending which causes a world of conflict for him later on but is also a host of other things of importance that first get addressed - the first renegade firebender, katara's healing qualities, zhao's stubborn and head-first tendencies that cause problems later, and our first look at fire being not only destructive but an element that is full of life.
side nitpick but i liked sokka's outfit this episode (under his coat) but not katara's. idk if it's the pants on sokka's that sets his apart, but katara's looks too new. it's not worn at all, it's a lot more complicated than her outfit in the original show (which i get cartoons are simplified, but realistically, it rly does separate the two later on from the prestige of the north and the northern water tribe's people) and it looks out of place in some parts bc it doesn't seem authentic. like, it looks like fake material. if that makes sense? it needs to be rougher.
i hope they show roku at some point bc it seems like we're hauling it to the north so i wonder if they'll do the winter solstice stuff at all.
speaking of the writing tho! i finally know what's off about iroh. it's not paul and it's not his look or his voice or his mannerisms. it's all his speaking lines. some of them are not good. most of them are passable, i guess? none of them are iroh, though. it doesn't feel like things iroh would say. two full episodes in, and iroh hasn't said anything thought-provoking or even that would be deemed wise at all.
the sets are stunning still and the choreography is good, so again, it's really the writing direction that i have the biggest problem with. like, it's so easy to tell that bryke left early into production and that the letflix adaptation doesn't have the writer's room that the original atla did. the changes (mostly) would be fine on their own, but i feel like it's people getting in over their heads and deciding they want to add so much content that is ruining this adaptation for me.
also for a whole entire episode spent on kyoshi island, they sure didn't meld any other stuff into it as much as i thought they should've. and idk that i like the direction they're going with zhao.
omashu and haru's village are supposed to be stops before the winter solstice stuff, so i'm hoping they're done right if done in the same episode (hopefully not concurrently but they can share run time perhaps?)
real quick list of things i hope are given focus and not written out
katara's mother's necklace
the structure of omashu not being a flat city
katara getting haru caught by trying to help someone and this coming back to bite them in the ass
^ despite this, katara again trying to help someone to make up for her mistake (in a way that shows her resilience and compassion)
some nod to momo earthbending would be cool bc to me that is one of the funniest moments in atla s1
i want bumi to be silly goofy and trap katara an sokka in rock candy bc that was visually cool in the cartoon and i'd love to see it in live action cgi
bumi having aang guess his name and figure out for himself who the king really is :)

do any of the teachers ever notice the things happening to y/n? (i headcannon Mic and Midnight as yanderes that would give advice to 1A lol)
yandere!Class 1A x fem!reader
[2.1K]
Summary: Aizawa is the first one you approached in regards to your certain predicament.
Warning: nonconsensual recording
│
Aizawa suspected something wasn’t quite right by the moment he saw you entering the class a minute before the bell rang, all haggard and teary-eyed, though you tried your best to obscure your disposition. He always knew you to often be in a state of discomfort whenever you were compelled to socialize, especially with your classmates, but now - you looked as if you reached your limit of holding the weight of the world on your shoulders, crashing down all at once as depicted on your crestfallen expression.
And when you showed up in front of the faculty room, timidly soliciting his presence, his suspicions were only further verified. Even with a pending question regarding subject matters in your mind, you weren’t one to approach a teacher to inquire about it, and if you did it was because the teacher was the one who would ask your attendance; never the other way around.
Present Mic was the first one to acknowledge you. He stood up from his office chair, waving at you comically. “Yo, (l/n)! Having trouble with English again?”
You never had a problem with his subject; he only insisted that you’d come to him in regards to that. “N-no, not really. May I speak to Aizawa-sensei?”
“Talk with me instead!” He enthusiastically spoke and headed over to you. “Come on, what’s the matter?”
“It isn’t your place to ask that when I’m here.” Aizawa interceded, clearly unimpressed by Mic’s antics. He failed to see the latter’s displeased countenance. “(L/n), what is it?”
You avoided eye contact with him, averting your view to the ground - that was alright. You were always like this, and he didn’t mind. Nothing out of place except for the fact that it looked as if you were about to cry any moment now.
“Can we- can we, um, talk somewhere more private?” You asked quietly.
His brows raised in wonder at your request. Nevertheless, he didn’t decline you, only nodding lackadaisically before heading towards the teacher’s lounge, where you followed him suit. He flicked the door tag to ‘occupied’ and entered the room after you, when he told you sit on the three-person sofa situated not quite on the farthest left of the space. Then, he settled himself on the chair across you.
“Well?” He asked, expectantly.
But you had once again your head above a thick cloud of anxiety. You knew that after the event with Momo in the girls’ locker room - where you had injured her against your will because she had been violating your personal space - your homeroom teacher kept a cautious eye on you in case you’d re-enact that incident. And it wasn’t just that incident that made him look at you like you were a criminal on the loose, either. Your classmates found and did a lot of ways to place you in Aizawa’s naughty list just so you wouldn’t snitch on their abusive (they’d call it affectionate) behavior on you.
That didn’t erase the fact that you were nevertheless his student; he cared for you no less than he cared for his other pupils, yet you were just too ignorant in figuring that out. All that mattered to you was that you’d voice out your current concern to him, but with your insecurities holding you down it seemed it would be more difficult than you had primarily foreseen it to be.
“I-I,” you stammered out, fiddling with something inside your pocket, “u-um, you see, t-there’s this, I mean, I can’t-”
He grew increasingly frustrated with your constant stuttering, and although he did understand your shy nature which largely affected your conversational habits, he only had so much patience to deal with it.
“I don’t have all day.” He stated, glowering at your form in mild irritation. “If you’re going to keep doing that, talk to the wall.”
You abruptly halted in speaking after that, only looking down on your lap, staring wide-eyed, grief-stricken at the revelation that perhaps he really did not want to heed any of your words because you were just that bad of a student that he had decided you were not worth much the effort to concern himself with. And maybe he was right - that your words didn’t matter because you didn’t matter; that there were more affairs he better be tending to than yours; that you were only making a big deal out of this when it truthfully wasn’t.
Oh god, you felt like vomiting. Self-deprecation was getting the better of you.
He stood up and sauntered to the exit, not bothering to spare you a glance. “Come back to me when you actually know what you want to say.”
It was a matter of seconds when you ran to him, pulling him back rather harshly by the grip you had on his sleeve. He turned around due to the force to see your head still hung low, avoiding his gaze as always - only, your shoulders were quivering sporadically, and occasional sniffs were heard from your person.
“P-please, sensei...” you voiced out, shaken and horrifyingly delicate. “I-I’m so scared. Please.”
While he looked at you with contracted irises, countenance now alert from your unexpected disposition, you pulled your trembling hand out of your skirt pocket, nervously disclosing to him from your palm a small, black device with a tiny yet prominent lens.
“M-my room,” you heaved, “I-I saw this i-in my room, m-my closet, while- while I was dressing up, and I don’t know how long it had been in there but it probably already caught me bare and-”
You broke down in a flurry misery and shame, allowing yourself to fall to the ground but you didn’t - Aizawa seized you in his arms, his gentle, fatherly arms that could only do so much to console you from the horror of your reality. And he held your head as you cried on his chest, one little thing he could do after ignoring your situation and letting you think that your significance was less than the rest of his other students. At that moment, you were just so little, so fragile, so naïve he’d keep you in his pocket if he could. Why would someone do something as debauched as illegally recording your innocent self?
“I’m sor-sorry,” you sobbed, “I’m really telling the truth, p-please-”
“Shh, it’s okay. I don’t doubt you.” He reassured. Why were you apologizing? Were you that insecure of being a nuisance? No, no, you never were. Not to him. He reached for your hand to take the cursed device. “Since when did you find out?”
“J-just this morning.” You responded.
“Alright. Do you want to rest? This must have taken a huge toll on you.”
But you still had classes ongoing. Then again, you didn’t feel like looking at the faces of the prime suspects who possibly did you dirty, even when you knew that you’d have to eventually interact with them to get notes of your missed lessons. You were so tired from summoning the lot of your courage to confront your teacher regarding your problem, so you probably wouldn’t have the energy to listen to class discussion. Aizawa finalized your decision by pulling you up and guiding you towards the office of Recovery Girl who, after being briefed of your predicament by your homeroom teacher, welcomed you with a warm smile, telling you to make yourself comfortable in one of the beds in the infirmary.
He then made his way to 1A classroom, a newfound swelling of rage and disappointment in his chest, both forwarded to his class and to himself because only now did he realize that perhaps you were often so restless and apprehensive in the presence of your classmates because they did things that made you bury yourself in the deepest parts of your shell as a last attempt to revel in a sense of safety. Your timidity was not entirely derived from your own nature; it was also due to the maltreatment you were receiving from your classmates. Halting his steps by the classroom door, he looked through the glass window, seeing the class focusing on Midnight’s lecture.
Well, not quite. He could tell that your classmates were visibly affected by the lack of your presence, glancing at your desk from time to time as quiz papers were being passed behind - so they were in the middle of a test, he guessed. But that wasn’t his concern.
In impudent manner, he walked in amid Midnight’s talking, disregarding her face’s sudden morphing into vexation as the students gave him a look of confusion.
“Eraser, what are you-” she was rudely interrupted as Aizawa took the test reference papers from her hands. Something about Modern Hero Art History, he read. He faced his class with disdain, stating,
“Until someone confesses their crime of hiding a spy camera on (l/n)’s dorm room, all of you are receiving failing marks on this test.”
Quite suddenly, the class burst into violent upheaval, gasping, perking, some allowing the dreadful news of your situation to sink in, others letting out noises of complaint before actually taking consideration to the main point of Aizawa’s statement. Midnight stared at him in disbelief, but did nothing to stop his measures.
Momo abruptly stood. “I-is (y/n) okay? We should go check on her!”
“No, you shouldn’t.” Aizawa said. “All of you are suspects. You’ve no right to see her.”
“She probably just made that up get back on us for whatever fucking reason!” Yelled Bakugou.
“Yeah?” The male pro-hero disingenuously mused. He then picked up the spy camera and held it for everyone to see, before setting it down the teacher’s podium. “This was found on her closet. Would she risk recording herself naked just to prove that point?”
Noise died down thereafter, setting their sights solemnly at the device, the class collectively having the same thought in regards to the spy camera.
(Why hadn’t they thought of that? It could have been easier to check on you that way, since you almost always confined yourself in the privacy of your own room.)
“So? No one wants to speak up?” Aizawa asked, though expected the silence.
“Aizawa, have them approach you after classes. It’s embarrassing this way.” Midnight intervened.
“Well that’s the point. Get them exposed to the entire class, so everyone could realize how much of a perverted bastard one of these to-be heroes are. Good values, my ass.” He replied, not bothering to filter rather colorful vocabulary. “Where’s your dignity?”
He let a minute or two pass for the perpetrator to reveal themselves, but soon it became apparent that whomever they were refused to admit to their crime, willing to sacrifice the grades of the class for the sake of anonymity. That would be deemed useless, anyway, because Aizawa was already set on figuring out whom they were, no matter the extent he’d go to in order for that to happen. He’d expel them at once.
But he didn’t have the power to expel someone outside of his class.
“I guess that’s it for your test.” He sighed, disgruntled, picking up the small camera and sauntering his way out of the classroom after giving Midnight a look that he was dead serious with marking all of them a failing score. She stared at him in uncertainty, nonetheless abided by his decisions, albeit hesitantly.
Upon ascertaining his absence, Midnight turned to Class 1A, amusement and humor dancing on her seductive countenance.
“Naïve, hormonal teenagers,” she mused, “the closet, really? Couldn’t you have chosen somewhere less conspicuous?”
None of them bothered to tell her that they were truthfully unaware of the incident.
===
Hagakure Toru, stealth hero, entered your room silently in the nude, the only proof of her movements being a tinier, different spy camera she’d brought along with her. No, not the closet, you might find it again. It looked so painfully obvious on the desk, too, and neither in the bathroom due to its pale white interior.
But on the pencil holder situated atop your nightstand would do. You barely moved it, anyway, only having its purpose served as a decoration; something to fill the vacancy of the bedside table. After a few adjustments in camouflaging the device with the environment and making sure the lens displayed the area of your space, Hagakure checked its concealment one more time, before mechanically heading outside and back to her own dorm.
Her body collided almost violently with her room’s door, snapping her out of her trance.
“H-huh!? Weird... how’d I end up in my room?” She asked, receiving no answer from particularly anyone.
But Shinso Hitoshi could provide her one, if only he weren’t outside, staring at your terrace from five stories down your room, a gratifying smirk donned on his features. Now, the only thing he had to do was dismantle and relocate the gadgets wirelessly connected with the camera Aizawa had confiscated.

Street Cat hybrid shoto seems to like you so much, even more than he likes his owner Momo
When you come to see momo, he is 24/7 by your side, following you around all day long, touching you and your things, licking your neck just like he always did since he was a lil baby cat *W* and even worst, he still cries when you have tô tô home!
Why aren’t you his owner? It was you who saved him, but you couldn’t have a hybrid at your apartment, so you left him with your best friend.
It was you who made him more human. Without you, shoto would be still living in the street. But how could he feel at home when his home is you?
One day, Momo sends a message asking you to take care of him while she works for a few days in another country. She says he only wants you, and gets pissy and teary when someone else comes
You are happy to help— i mean, things are being so stressful at your new work! It has been a week since you saw Shoto.
It just happen that you carry so many new smells
Shoto doesn’t like that >:(
(This is a prompt/request. Feel free to change things or deny this shit. I just want some beastial sex with yandere shoto who cries while humping your pussy bc he finally feels at peace)
hoooooo my gosh
(What to expect - NSFW, noncon, scenting, thoughts of watersports)
Hybrid Shouto who’s long and lean, milky skin scarred and marred in places from the various fights he’s had while living on the street.
He’s got enough muscles to crush you when he hugs you, to put significant weight on you when he tries to cuddle up in your lap as you talk to Momo.
You’re close with Momo, having fun “girls night” when you and Jirou go over and drink wine, do each others nails, and talk about whatever been’s going on that week.
Shouto never interrupts, is always quiet as long as he’s by your side, purring when you scratch behind his ear, stretching out so he’s sprawled across your legs where you’re sitting on the floor.
Jirou and Momo think it’s cute how attached the hybrid is to you, coo at him whenever the hybrid jumps to follow you around Momo’s house, touching everything you touch, rubbing his cheek against your shoulder, hovering one step behind you like a clingy shadow.
It’s hard to say goodbye, especially with Shouto clinging to you, jaw set, unshed tears shining in his eyes as he begs you to stay, just a little longer.
So “girls night” turns into a fun sleepover, no big deal.
It’s adorable when you wake up to find the hybrid curled up at your feet, tail tucked around his body as he snores softly, ears twitching. When you go to make coffee, you bump into Momo, and barely begin telling her about the cute occurrence, before Shouto is padding into the kitchen, frown on his face, immediately jumping towards you.
Crushes you in a hug, pushes you against the counter as he comforts himself by stroking your shoulder, licking at your neck. “Thought you left...” The hybrid whines.
It’s easy to see how much he cares for his savior.
When Momo asks you to watch him, of course you say yes. He’s easy to please, with an even temperament and hardly any bad habits. You’d say his worst habit is his clinginess, how you can’t even go to the bathroom without the hybrid lurking outside of the door, waiting for you to get out so he can be close to you again.
But it seems he’s developed some unsavory traits living on the streets, as he pushes you to the floor as soon as you cross into Momo’s home.
“You smell different.” And it’s not a question. The hybrid’s cold nose is tickling your skin, first at your hands, then your throat, ghosting over your face before he drops down, pushes up your shirt a little so he can nose at your stomach.
“Hey! Shouto wha-”
“You smell awful.” He hisses, tail puffing up, ears flat against his head.
“I’m-I’m so sorry, I didn’t even realize.... I’ll go shower and change right now, okay? I’m sorry Sho’, I forgot you have such a sensitive nose.”
That calms him down a little bit, until you’re locking the bathroom door, Shouto stuck on the outside while you turn on the shower.
“Please let me in, I won’t look, just want to be close to you.” Comes his soft voice, and he sounds so sad, so plaintive, and you find yourself biting your lip.
“No, Shouto, I would like some privacy please while I shower. Afterwards we can cuddle or something, alright?”
There’s silence from the other side of the door, which is a tad worrying, but the quicker you can shower and change, the quicker you can go comfort the sensitive hybrid.
You find him curled up in his bed, buried underneath his blankets, frown on his face. It’s easy to slip in behind the hybrid, snuggling up against his furnace-like body heat.
No words are spoken, but the hybrid turns, buries his face into your neck, huffing and chuffing against your skin while you try not to squirm from the sensation. His little kitten licks tickle, especially when he starts grooming you, rough, textured tongue pulling rhythmically at your skin.
He dips too close to your chest, licking over your collarbone, but it’s innocent, harmless. Cats do this to each other when they feel safe, when they have a bond. You know Shouto is probably just trying to self-soothe after being left home all day. You know he’s a needy hybrid.
Shouto moves to lick at your arms, and that tickles even more, and you can’t stop from squirming and giggling a little when he licks at the crease of your elbow. Next thing you know, he has both of his slender, pale hands wrapped around one of your own hands, stuffing a few of your fingers into his mouth so he can suck on them.
You’re gasping in shock, surprised as you feel his fangs scrape over your flesh, the sensation strange and unexpected. “Shouto-!”
But the hybrid has his eyes closed, nose wiggling a bit as he falls into a rhythm, muscles relaxing as he settles down.
Another self-soothing gesture, you figure.
Today was a long day, and it doesn’t take too long before you get used to the unusual sensation of the hybrid’s tongue working over your fingers; it’s easy to fall asleep.
But when you wake up from your nap? Chaos.
Your shirt was askew, half your chest exposed, nipple pebbling in the cold as a neatly manicured hand rested over the meat of your breast.
The shorts you had slipped into out of the shower were still in place, but you were able to clearly feel the meat of Shouto’s erection as it rubbed against your mound, the hybrid’s hips stuttering forward as he panted above you, resting on an elbow.
He was gasping into your neck, quiet little breaths and held-back moans, trying not to wake you up.
But as soon as you got your bearings, began pushing at the hybrid, not even sure what to feel in this situation; Shouto lifted his head, blinking slowly.
“Want you to smell like me.” Is all the explanation that he offers, completely unmoving even as you get your hands underneath his chest and push.
“No-no, stop it, stop it right now Sho’.” Your voice is filled with panic, scratchy from sleep, weak.
Shouto shakes his head, buries it back into your neck as he starts licking at your skin, trying to comfort you, soothe you, calm you down. “I can’t...” But you knew what he was really saying, what was really running through his mind. I won’t.
The hybrid doesn’t settle until you’re drenched in sweat, wet and sticky from his cum as he’d pulled his cock out of his sleep shorts, came on your stomach, and thighs, and all over your shorts.
It doesn’t matter how much you squirm, how much you tell him that it’s wrong, how obviously unwanting you are of this treatment, Shouto doesn’t care.
Cum gets smeared on your face, into your hair, rubbed messily into your skin as Shouto nuzzles against you, purring as you tire from fighting him, grow limp underneath him, eyes staring blankly ahead as he violates you.
A small part of himself wants to go even further, to spread his seed into your mouth, down your throat, into your stomach. Shoot it deep into your womb, make you sticky and wet on not only the outside, but the inside too. An even worse, disgusting part of himself, a voice that Shouto refuses to listen to, gives him an urge to mark his territory in a primal, animalistic way.
Piss all over you, your belongings, until no one will come near you without smelling him.
Shouto wants you to smell like him, to smell claimed. By the time he’s done with you, it won’t matter how many showers you take - you won’t be able to rid yourself of his scent.

Traitor Part 4
part one// part two// part three
“ Y/N... hey... Y/N? Kirishima yelled after her.
“ Oh... hey.” she whispered confused.
Kirishima finally caught up with her, he was slightly out of breath.
“ You left this in class.” He said handing over a notebooks.
“ Oh thanks.” she smiled shyly, Kirishima turned to walk away. He made it about 2 steps before she said something else. “ It’s Kirishima, right?”
“ Yeah,” a ounce of pause, a moment of hesitation. “ But my friends call me Kiri.”
Blush falls sweeps across her face, she fights the urge to slap her hands to her cheek and run away, but she decides that, that would be more embarrassing than the blush.
“ Oh... okay..” she manages to stutter.
“ Bye Y/N.” He smiled brightly and waved .
“ Y/ N/N.” she nervously blurted out.”
“ Huh.” he turned around confused.
“ It’s what my friends call me.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Y/N was in the weight room, kicking a punching bag. Over and over again. It was 3AM now, and all her classmates were asleep, all except Kirishima who found himself unable to sleep. He decided that it would be best to workout, and get rid of all this excess energy.
He walked in the weight room, only to be met with loud thudding and frantic painting, as Y/N attacked the bag, like it was holding her mother hostage. He watched her for a few secconds, noticing how tired she looked. Her body was ran ragged and she had clear bags underneath her eyes. He was surprised to see Y/N, not only at this hour, but training as hard as she was.
They had a group training session today, and Y/N was great today. She won by about a mile, and the only people who beat her were Todoroki and Momo. She apparently didn’t hear him come in, or him loudly calling her names. She was wearing chunky headphones, blasting music so loudly that he could hear and understand the word clearly.
She also didn’t hear him approach her, or ask if she was okay, it seems like she barely felt him tap her shoulder while she was mid kick. After about two more kicks, and a weak feeble punch, she hunched over. Holding her throat, waiting for air.
He walked until he was in her eyeline, knelt down til he was eyelevel with her and slowly took off her headphones.
“ Are you okay, do you need water?”
She just frantically shook her head, and made an attempt to stand up again, but then hunched back over when that seemed to difficult. Then she tried again, this time she leaned on the punching bag for support.
“ What are you doing here, it’s 3AM?” she managed through shaky breaths.
“ I could ask you the same thing. That looks bad.” he said eyeing the bruise, that was spread around her clavacle.
“ It doesn’t hurt too bad.”
He only eyed her with raised eyebrows.
“ Okay, it actually hurts alot.” she manged a laugh but it was weak and feeble.
“ Y/N I really think that you should be resting.” he spoke with actual concern in his voice.
“ I can sleep when I’m dead, I did really bad in training today. I need to do better.”
“ What?”
“ I’ll never be a hero at this rate. Might as well quit while I’m ahead. Or I could just train really hard, and get better.” She said turning back to the punching bag, she kicked it repeatedly with even more force than before, if that’s at all possible.
“ Y/N-”
“ My dad was right, I’m just as useless as the day I was born. And twice as stupid.”
“ Y/N-”
“ My parents went through all that hard work to raise me, and I just turn out to be mediocre.”
“ Are you-”
“ You know at this point, I’m a pathetic waste of space.”
“ You should-”
“ At this rate I won’t ever been able to save anyone.”
“ Y/N I really think-”
“ Just like I wasn’t able to help my Mom.” she began kicking the ball at a relentless pace, not slowing down despite the fact that she looked like a strong breeze would blow her over.
Kirishima grabbed her by the shoulders, to finally make her stop. Grabbing her by the jaw to get her to make eye contact. He looked her in her eyes. Week, feeble and desperate looking.
“ Hey... what are you- LET GO OF ME.” she tried to push him away, but that didn’t work. She could usually push him away easily, but that didn’t work. So she resulted to punching him in the chest. Not hard, but she tried. He didn’t budge, didn’t even let go. It wasn’t until she threw herself into his chest that she finally stopped hitting him.
He could feel her shaking from stress and being tired. He wrapped his arms around her in a strong hug. She felt like she was melting into his chest. Her face was burried into the tank that he was wearing. He started to speak but as soon as he uttered a single word he could feel her hands fly quickly around him and squeeze so tightly, and she let out a meek sob and whimper. He could feel her knees buckling under the weight of her own expectations, so he guided her to the floor.
He gently rubbed her back, which caused her to cry harder, due to the rare feeling of comfort that Kirishima was giving Y/N. People in her childhood were never there for her, so now as as habit she didn’t let people be there for. The only reason that she opened up was because she was tired and in pain.
“ Are you okay.” He whispered in her ear calmly.
The only thing he got in response were broken sentences, cries, and just general ramblings. The only thing he could do was hold her and rub her back, and hope she would fall into a gentle sleep.

“ Stop staring at me its freaking me out.” Y/N said looking up from her Physcs workbook.
“ My bad man.” he muttered quickly before tearing his eyes away from her. But he found himself still looking at her.
“ Why do you keep looking at me?” she asked after she caught him for about the dozenth time.
“ Because I want to kiss you.” He quickly clamps a hand over his mouth, eyes popping wide in shock. He did not mean to say that. And his face is bright red in response.
“ Then why don’t you.” She said, not skipping a beat, her own confidence shocking even herself. She was never this bold, not even when people asked her to go out.
“ Because I was to afraid to ask.”
Her eyes darted around the room wildly, llke she was confused, before she looked at him and smiled brightly. She calmly walked over him, and grabbed him by the tie, pulling him up into a kiss.

The sun shined through the common room widow. It was a early in the morning, before 9AM, on a Saturday, which was rare. But Y/N was happy and in a good mood. She was in the kitchen, stirring at a bowl of what seemed to be pancake batter. She was wearing his shirt that was way to big on her, and a pair of his basketball shorts that hug just above her knees.
She had just began to add in the chocolate chips because they were Kiri’s favorite, and he would do a silly little dance when he ate them. Kirishima stumbled in the room, tiredly. His eyes were half closed and layered with sleep in the corners. He rubbed them as he made his way over to the counter, nearly tripping over himself in the process.
He draped himself over her. His head crammed between her shoulder blades, and arms draped losely at her sides.
“ G’morning, princess .” He slurrs.
“ Good morning, someone’s sleepy.”
“ mHm.” His voice is laced with groggyness. He lifts up his hand and places a sloppy kiss on her neck.
“ You can go back to bed, I can go get you when I’m done.”
“Uhduh, I want to be with you.” He mumbles, half asleep, he holds her waist. She could feel him smile into her back, and grips her slightly tighter. He was so close that she could feel his heart beat.

Everyone was in the common room, Sero and a few kids were attempting to cook, while the rest remained on the scattered about the rest of the room. A few playing air hockey, a handful on the couch.
Y/N and Kirishima sat on the carpet, tangled into eachother. Her head in his lap, falling asleep and cal. Kiri’s finger running through her hair. Denki was go through channels, as everyone talked.
Suddenly Y/N popped up, her eyes wide like a deer caught in headlights. She snatched the remote from Denki, who didn’t even have time to react before she frantically started flipping through channels. She apparently got the channel that she wanted, because she stopped at looked at the screen, shaking from stress.
“ IS THIS LIVE?” she yelled through panic.
“ I don’t know man, probably.” Denki said, watching her unfold infront of him.
“ Where the hell is my phone.” She frantically, looking around. At this rate she would never find it, she was moving to fast to even get a full breath.
Kirishima calmly handed it to her. Then she procceed to frantically dial a number and call it. She held the phone up to her ear, muttering madly to herself, pacing around the room with reckless abandon. Despite this her eyes never leave the screen. It wasn’t until the TV panned to a cracked phone screen, with the caller ID: BABYGIRL, and a picture that had what looked to be a baby Y/N. Her hand flew to her hair in wild desperation, gripping it for some sense of control.
“ Pro hero Block and villian Blue, are in a head to head fight.” the news caster spoke
Her eyes went wide and the phone slipped from her hand, and clattered to the floor. She froze for a minute. Wide eyed and shocked.
“ I have to go.” she muttered, she turned to leave and practically sprinted out of the door.
Kirishima ran after her, stopping her in the hallway, grabbing her by the wrist.
“ Calm down.” he said turning her around.
“ I have to go, my dad’s in trouble.” she continued to walk, but he planted his feet causing her to stop.
“ I’m not going to let you.”
“ What are you going to do? Stop me.” She pushed him away, but he grabbed her other wrist. Her voice was clearly fighting back tears.
“ Yeah. If it stops you from being stupid.”
“ Please let me help him.” She begged. Tears now flowing freely down her face.
“ I’m sorry.”
“ Please let me save him.”
“ I can’t. I’m sorry.” he pulled her into a tight hug, whispering into her scalp.
“ I have to go save him.” she forced her face into her chest, her tears making her shirt wet.
“ If he is a hero, then he doesn’t need saving, he has a whole team of pro’s backing him up. He’ll probably be just fine.
“ That’s the problem, my dad is no hero. He’s a villian.”
Kirishima’s eyes went wide, and he engulfed her tighter.
