now's surely not the time but i really truly do feel like in a lot of the circles discussing social progress, along the same line that we get people arguing about gender markers on official documents when the actual solution is to remove gender markers entirely because they serve no practical purpose, i feel like we have a lot of arguments surrounding sexism and expectations in relationships and marriage equality and equity and financial abuse and marriages of convenience that are almost completely inaccessible if you're any variant of asexual/aromantic/aspec or polyamorous. what if this isn't how any of that worked. is that so crazy?

Can someone tell me why everyone keeps bringing up the fact that Alice’s joke about knowing what evil is behind the OIAR didn’t make the audio glitch? Like… dudes. She was joking, it’s a joking statement that is not a lie. Also, even if she wasn’t joking they literally do work for the UK government and any evil the OIAR does *is* being done by the UK government. Which they work for. I don’t see the issue, I don’t understand what there is to freak out about, I don’t see how this means Alice ‘must know something’. It’s literally as simple as her joke being a joke, it doesn’t mean she genuinely knows what evil is running the entire system

i’m just confused and annoyed i want it to be a fun show with a story that you can follow again but lately it’s been just a mess. still fun ofc because all five of them are just fun to listen to but like. i have not been able to make any sense of what the fuck is going on for like a solid 4 episodes now and i’m just disheartened about it. it’s gone off the rails but not in a hehehaha funny fun way.
