sometimes when you're not a great programmer and everyone looks at you and goes "i don't know... that's scary" when you want to do something in ren'py you have to get creative and by creative i mean code that would make an actual programmer get mad at you

okay but watching pomme and richas' family growing RACE gets so intense. okay. look.

pomme: baghera, antoine, aypierre, kameto, etoiles, bad, and max (from aypierre) for parents; dapper as sibling; maxpierre twin babies for siblings. she has ten family members in total.

richas: forever, pac, mike, cellbit, felps, roier, and quackity for parents; foolish and vegetta as grandmas; and leo as an aunt. if we count bobby as richas' deceased step-brother, then richarlyson has eleven family members in total.

they both have seven parents in total.

pomme is catching up. richas its time to start whoring your dads out again. dont let her win

a beloved mutual said savanaclaw samatoki and i immediately blacked out because hell yeah, so samaichi twst (loosely) au where

(disclaimer: i say loosely bc i was only briefly into twst at jp launch so i do not know much and most of what i did know i already forgor)

third-year samatoki (snow leopard) has already been held back a year when ichiro (ouppy) starts as a first-year and ichiro immediately becomes the endearingly naggy kouhai who's always on samatoki's case to do his coursework, study for his tests, and quit falling asleep in class

until someone (ramuda) points out to ichiro that if samatoki is held back two more times he and ichiro would be in the same year and wouldn't that be neat. "you wouldn't have to call him samatoki-senpai anymore you could just call him samatoki"

and the thought of that makes ichiro so lightheaded he just about passes out in the hall

(he doesn't actually stop his nagging though because he likes samatoki too much to want him to fail)

(of course the nagging doesn't actually work and samatoki is held back two more times after all)

feel like we as a community do not take advantage of the fact that almost all of the characters we have at our disposal are bilingual. there is a world of hijinks we are not accessing

#ieytd #*I* would have accessed them like months ago if i remembered how to write #and also if i ever worked up the courage to ask for translations from my like. 8-way-bilingual stepmother #i forgor she knew all of those languages #the only people who might not speak other languages is like. maybe prism and juniper? maybe hivemind? i dont know #and MAYBE phoenix based solely on the translation comment in the first game. but even then that's a stretch #the handler is canonically bilingual. same with anna and fabby and solaris i would imagine seeing as they're all immigrants #i really like the thought that zor is native in spanish its one of my favorite zor headcanons so as far as i'm concerned they're bilingual
