Here is some Sebastian fluff. Sebastian was my first SDV love and always will be ❤️
No warnings, just 1087 words of fluff
Description- what happens when the farmer and Sebastian start dating quietly and they are almost found out when Robin shows up unannounced during movie and cuddle time.
In the year you've been living and working on Grandpa's old farm, you've gained many new friends throughout Pelican Town. Your core group included Sam, Abigale and Sebastian, with you being closest to Sebastian.
It was hard not to gravitate towards him when everything about him was just so comfortable. You didn't feel the need to fill the silence with chatter when you two hung out and read comics or manga, but also had no problems trash talking when going head to head in a video game.
It wasn't a big deal to you two when you quietly started dating. Neither of you were into pda and you always hung out so no one besides you two even knew it was going on.
You two were sitting on the couch in your farmhouse watching whatever cheesy horror movie was on, just enjoying each other's company and laughing together at how ridiculous the movie is when you hear a knock at your door.
"Are you expecting anyone today?" Sebastian asks as you untangle yourself from him and the blankets.
"Nope. I have no idea who it could be. It's Sunday and everyone knows I don't really do any work around the farm on Sundays and that I'm a couch potato all day." you reply with a confused tone as you walk to answer the door.
When you open the front door, the last sight You're expecting is Robin standing there with a big grin on her face.
You've got no problems with Robin finding out about your relationship with her son, but you'd definitely prefer her to not find out by seeing her son laying on your couch shirtless, so you quickly step outside and shut your door a little harder than intended.
"Hey farmer! Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, I know it's your day off and all" Robin starts with a slightly confused look on her face. You can only assume the look is from the way you slammed your door shut behind you like a crazy person.
"It's all good Robin! No worries here. Just worried about letting the heat out." Is your sorry excuse of a response. Like you'd have the fireplace roaring when it's the middle of summer.
"Oh sure. I get that, gotta conserve that fire wood right? Well I actually stopped by to see if I could trouble you for some goat cheese. I've been craving some and Pierre said he was out at the moment." Says Robin, getting to the point of why she stopped by today.
"Oh of course Robin! I've got some extras in the house, give me just a moment and I'll bring them right out!" You say a little louder than was necessary,happy that she only needed something as small as a chunk of goat's cheese.
You turn to open the door so you can run inside and grab the cheese when it thuds on something solid and stops before opening. Little did you know, while you were talking to his mom, Sebastian had crawled over to the door to eavesdrop on you two. He definitely didn't anticipate you throwing the door open as quickly as you did.
Sebastian rolls to the side where he would be blocked by the door as you go to open it again, stepping inside and shutting the door again quickly. While you run to the kitchen and Sebastian is rolling around on the floor holding his head where the door hit him trying to stay as quiet as possible, Robin is standing outside wondering what has gotten the farm so spooked.
Once you return to Robin with enough goat cheese to keep her away for a couple weeks, she thanks you and is about to be on her way when she stops and turns to you.
"Ya know, since you and Sebby have gotten so close lately, I think it would be amazing if you two went on a date. I think he may have a little crush on you." Robin says with a wink and walks away, leaving you slightly dumbfounded.
Once you gain a little of your composure, you walk back into the house to finish your movie with Sebastian as you notice he's still on the floor, but instead of rolling around in pain, he's now laughing hysterically.
"Glad you think this is funny Seb. I just about had a heart attack and a stroke all at once! All this stress over some damn goat cheese." You exclaim plopping back down on the couch and covering your head with the blanket.
A few moments later, you feel Sebastian lay on top of you and pull the blanket away from your face. He's still chuckling as he kisses your forehead and says "She's right ya know. I do have a little crush on you."
When you open your eyes you see that stupid smirk and all the tension leaves your body as you start laughing, pulling Sebastian closer you both relax back and continue your movie.
Later that night, Sebastian is walking back into his house and saunters into the kitchen to get something to drink before retreating to his room. Robin is in the process of making a snack of crackers and the goat cheese she got from the farm earlier in the day.
Sebastian tries to hide the smirk when he thinks back to what transpired during his mother's excursion to the farm. Robin hands him a cracker with cheese after he grabs his water bottle. “Try this Sebby, I got the best goat cheese today.”
As he pops the cracker and cheese into his mouth, he decides your farm really does produce the best cheese around, and as he's walking to his room tells his mom "Damn, the goats over on the farm really do make the best cheese, huh mom? Did you get enough for both of us today?"
Before he can make it to the stairs that lead to his room, his mom calls out to him "wait, how did you know I went and got cheese at the farm today when I normally go to Pierre's?"
Sebastian swears he can see the light bulb go off above his mom's head as he just chuckles and walks downstairs, leaving Robin alone in the kitchen. He hears his mom squeal with joy as he steps into his room and shuts the door.
By Wednesday that week, all of Pelican Town knows that Sebastian and the farmer are dating, and Robin couldn't be happier.

10:38am | Jeonghan 1k [22] “Why do you like him so much?”
Angst (jealousy), Requested by anonymous
“Why were you home so late last night?” Jeonghan asks, swirling the coffee in his mug around, eyes trained on his phone. The tone of his voice is flat, but there is something about the way the words leave his mouth as you walk into your shared kitchen that makes the hairs at the back of your neck stand up.
Answering immediately will only fuel whatever fire it is that he’s currently trying to stuff back down his throat. You can tell. The way you can tell anything about him by just being around him. You pour yourself a cup of coffee first, taking a sip. “I was with Junhui.”
Jeonghan has a habit where he grinds his teeth when he’s angry. It’s audible with how thick the silence between the two of you is. As your friend and roommate he really has no business feeling some type of way about you hanging out with other guys. Sure, you live with him, he’s allowed inquire why you came home at 3am without saying anything. But the tone in his voice is anything but from concerned.
“I don’t get it,” he sighs, clicking his tongue.
“What is there not to get, I went out with Junhui for drinks and stayed out a little late. I’m an adult Han, I can do what I want.” You don’t look at him. You don’t have to. Don’t really want to right now. The two of you have been arguing about minor shit on and off the past few weeks. Arguing about why you were home late was not on your to-do list for today. Or tomorrow.
Jeonghan shrugs, twisting to grab the coffee from the counter and pouring himself another cup. “I mean out of all your options? Jun? Really?” Is that…jealousy? The slight sharp tinge to his words, the disdain in his eyes. There is no way. “Why do you like him so much?”
Some imaginary thread inside of you—one you were unaware of—snaps as he says that. You slam your mug down on the kitchen table. “Maybe because he treats me better than you.”
Jeonghan chokes on his coffee, coughing roughly before giving you a wide eyed look. “What the fuck?” His brows pulls together, mouth opening and closing.
“You heard me,” you bite. “When’s the last time you asked me how I’m doing?”
He falls quiet, eyes turning away from you. “Listen.”
“No,” you shake your head—you’re trembling. “You listen. I don’t know what has gotten into you in the past few weeks, but you’ve become an absolute hassle to be around Jeonghan. You barely talk to me and when we do talk, we fight. What did you expect me to do?” Your chest heaves, hands tight on the edge of the table.
He sighs, rubbing a hand over his face. “I don’t know, talk to me? Have a civil conversation? Not run into the arms of another man?!” His voice is steadily raising, patience thinning, and mask slipping.
You narrow your eyes. “How dare you fucking talk to me like you have a right to be jealous. You least of all people have any right to be jealous Yoon Jeonghan.” There are so many words in the back of your throat that you have to swallow down. Whether they stay down will be the question. “That’s it right?” you continue, “you’re jealous?”
He turns his gaze away, fingers rubbing over his temples. Jaw tight, you can only imagine the tension. The question is whether you care. Because right now all you’re hoping for is that he says no, so that you can talk about this like adults. “I am.”
Fuck that. Fuck all of this. “Good for you,” you sneer.
“What?”
Your throat burns, your fingers itch, and yet all you do is stare at him for a solid minute before speaking. “You deserve this. You had your fucking chance, months ago, when I confessed to you. And as you’ll fucking remember, you rejected me. You wanted to stay friends. You’d never looked at me like that, and didn’t want to.” You pause with a heavy breath. The memories of that night no longer sting, but that doesn’t quell your anger. “You said no, and I moved on. I let you go, because you didn’t want to be with me. If it takes me being with another man for you to realise you have any semblance feelings for me, that’s not on me. That’s on you. Don’t make it my fucking problem.”
Jeonghan sits there on his favourite kitchen chair and he just stares at you. His fingers are trembling on the kitchen counter. The eyes that had looked at you with annoyance mere minutes ago now seem red, like they’re filling with tears. He blinks them away. “I don’t think Jun is right for you,” he mumbles, a futile attempt to hide the crack in his voice.
“And?”
“What do you mean, and?” he questions, voice skipping mid sentence. “I can treat you so much better than he can and you know it. Please?”
A small part of you searches for it, that wild and unashamed love you felt for him months ago. Back when you were smitten, hanging on his every word. Your confession had been unplanned over a shared portion of his favourite take out dumplings. He had stared at you like you were crazy—you had felt crazy. Crazy for him.
But that was months ago, this is now. You’ve always been good at compartmentalising your feelings. Moving on is what people do. It wouldn’t be your first heartbreak. Or his. It doesn’t matter though, because those feelings you had are gone. If they weren’t you surely wouldn’t be considering just leaving. He had his chance, and he fucked it up.
“You should’ve thought about that sooner Jeonghan,” you whisper. “When I was still willing to do anything for you.”
He reaches for you. You flinch away.
“What are you willing to do for me now?” he whispers back, a single tear rolling down his cheek.
Stepping away, you swipe your coat of the chair you’d left it on last night when you returned. “I’m willing to give you space.”

HEART PIRATES WEEK 2024 - Part 9 of 9
I told myself last year that I was going to participate in Heart Pirates Week this year, and by thunder I'm going to participate in Heart Pirates Week!
Day Nine: Law - Tattoos and/or Fantasy AU
794 words; this also might become something else later; I wonder how many of us Same Brained this prompt bc it’s, like, perfect (I did not look at what others did to spoil myself); warnings for this one is basically just mild language
-_-_-_-_-_-_-
“Room.”
Law closed his eyes as he felt magic course through him, making his hair stand on-end. Once opened, he saw that his opponents were pissing their breeches, knowing that they messed up. So much for what looked like an easy target—a lone man on a deserted forest road—if only they noticed the magic sigils inked onto his body earlier…
“This is your last chance,” he smirked. “Now what’s it gonna be?”
“Tch; I can’t have some prissy pretty-boy get the better of me,” the bandit leader growled. He was trying to keep a brave face, even though none of his men were even close to bothering. From the looks of their own bags, whomever were their first targets of the day were too soft and useless and rich for him to be no less than the month’s biggest regret. “Any last words before we kill you?”
Ha; wasn’t even convincing.
“Shambles.”
Law’s tattoos glowed blue and chaos broke free. A twitch of his fingers and his opponents were tossed about in wee bits, screaming obscenities as they realized they were all still alive.
“Now!” Penguin shouted, just out of sight. The Heart Bandits all popped into view, grabbing the others’ things and running off before anyone could realize what was going on. Law stuck the leader’s arms on either side of his head and let the abomination drop to the ground.
“Good luck getting back together,” he chuckled. The bandit only was able to open his mouth before he vanished, having used his ability to pop himself down the road.
“It looks like a good haul today!” Shachi grinned. “They go down okay?”
“Like always,” Law replied. The Hearts all ran back to where the rest of their half of the crew was waiting with the horses, Law putting everyone in the saddles instantly and the ten-strong group all galloped off.
It was a couple hours’ ride, but eventually they made it to their current hideout. The group was greeted by the rest of the Hearts, with everyone but Bepo grabbing the haul and beginning to go through it.
“You didn’t go in by yourself again, did you?” Bepo asked as he led Penguin and Shachi’s horses into the paddock. Law disengaged from his mount and tied the horse up next to its trough, not answering. “You did! Law! You shouldn’t do that so often! You’re going to overdo it one day!”
“You worry too much,” Law insisted. Bepo simply frowned, the pair in uncomfortable silence until Ikkaku came over and took charge of the paddock.
“Hey, there’s something interesting you need to see in the loot,” she said, jabbing her thumb over her shoulder. Law took that as an opportunity to escape, but Bepo did not let him off easy, following him back into the main of the encampment.
“I keep on warning you!” the bear pouted. “You keep going into these raids by yourself and you’re going to bite off more than you can chew!”
“Relax,” Law shrugged. “The rest of the crew wasn’t far behind. Besides, if it was that much, then we’d be screwed no matter what.”
“Captain…!”
“Come with us next time if you’re so scared.”
“Then who will guard camp?”
“They’re not useless.”
“Yeah, I know that…” Bepo trailed off as they approached Uni and Clione as they were going through the loot they’d gotten from the other bandits. There was something about it that felt… off. “What’cha got there?”
“Solid gold from the looks of it,” Clione claimed. He held out what looked like a weight measurement—a shiny golden bell. “I can’t make some of it out; must be from a place outside of the North.”
“I can see exactly where the rest came from,” Law said gravely. He took a coin Uni was holding out and looked at it in the late afternoon sunlight. “Dressrosa.”
“The one and the same,” Uni confirmed. He then presented what looked like a gem-encrusted bracelet. “This has a mark from a smith in Spider Miles; definitely all related somehow.”
“Maybe it means we beat up some of his lackeys?” Bepo wondered. “Joker’s network is spread far as well as deep.”
“It’s possible,” Law agreed. “Where’s Jean Bart? Does he have the new spellbook deciphered?”
“He’s working on it,” Clione shrugged. “We only got that thing two days ago—you want him to translate it, not work a miracle.”
“If Joker’s men are here, then that means that we need something a lot more spectacular than a miracle,” Law stated. He felt as though he would jump out of his skin; Doflamingo was close and he had the means. This could be it…
…only for a familiar cackle to cut through the air.
Oh, shit.
Straw Hat.

quotes from a fan's recap of the young veins' show at the masquerade in atlanta on 24 march 2010
(this is quite a long one but definitely worth it!)
We stood up close to the barricade- I guess second or third row if someone put it in a row perspective and it mattered. What mattered is it was ridiculously close and the venue is already tiny. Before the show started, I went over to see if they had merch even though I fully suspected that they probably did not. Turns out they had three shirts ($15 each) and I bought two of them because how could I not?
While the next band was setting up, Ryan picked up an amp and carried it over to help. Everyone was mostly like, “He can carry that thing?” or “Show off” or “It‘s really hollow inside.”
Next was The Young Veins. They come out, Ryan wearing what he’d been wearing the whole tour so far and Nick Murray in a fresh shirt today, and start setting up the stage. I don’t think they got a sound check because it took a good fifteen or twenty minutes to get everything to sound okay -Ryan and Jon telling the sound guy what to turn up and down and so on. Most of us were just mesmerized enough to be cool with that.
Honestly, Ryan has more stage presence as a front man than I would have predicted (or probably given him credit for before this show). At one point Jon started talking about the album and then he told Ryan that he got the information off of their Wikipedia. Ryan obviously wasn’t expecting that answer because he cracked up. After listening to all the songs, I really think this album is going to be better than I was expecting. “Cape Town” is my favourite, possibly, but really, it seems like a solid, well-made bunch of songs. And Ryan has quite the lung capacity. I never saw it coming. There’s hope for our boys yet!
After the show, they were tearing down their equipment and some girls called him over to the side of the stage and Kelsey assumed they were going to ask for the set list. They didn’t though so she called out to Ryan and asked for it. He went over and got his for her and she handed it to me. He took Jon and Andy’s set lists and tossed them into the crowd where Andy’s was instantly ripped into pieces by vicious fangirls. It was a bit scary. When they were finished packing things up, Ryan went to head off the stage and tripped, but caught himself.
Since the Masquerade is the coolest venue ever, I waited a few minutes, then walked right out back where the band had assembled. A few other fans went out back too and I walked out with Ryan’s gift basket.
“Ryan,” Kelsey called, then looked at me. “You wanna give it to him?” “This is for you,” is all I said and held it out. I was mentally flipping out because I’ve only been trying and failing when it comes to meeting this guy for years and now all of a sudden there he was. Ryan just smiled and said, “What did I do to deserve this?”
I told him I had just been trying to meet him forever so it was kind of like a gift to him because I had finally gotten to meet him and was celebrating. He’s a hard guy to get close to! I pointed to the fox in the basket and said, “That‘s your pet fox until you get a real one. This one will tour better.” He smiled and said, “I might feed it to my real fox when I get one. How‘s that?” I was pretty much like, “Fine with me!” because really, anything he wanted would probably be fine with me. He thanked me, all shy and sweet, and said he was going to set the basket out of the way.
Some other girls called him over and Jon, Andy, and Nick Murray were all standing around so I pulled out my bag and started handing out silly string. Of course the first thing Mr. Jon Walker does is shake it up and spray silly string all over Nick. Nick looked down at his shirt and got this very kicked puppy look about him. So I handed one to Nick and told him to retaliate. Jon ran off with his can and to some other fans, but he kept spraying people. In a few minutes, he had sprayed Nick, Will (tour manager), Andy, me, Kelsey, Ryan, and some people I didn’t know. Ryan saw his shoulder covered in silly string and proceeded to try to decorate his shoulder with it. I gave Ryan his silly string to retaliate and he forgot to shake it so when he sprayed it on Will it mostly just came out this watery liquid and soaked the guy’s shirt in a spot. FailRoss strikes again.
I asked if I could hug him and I’ve been anticipating hugging that boney kid for quite some time, but you know what? It was like the softest hug I’ve ever gotten. It wasn’t at all like I expected. It was delicate and fragile and soft. It was better than I thought though. Way better.
We saw Nick White and gave him his silly string. We told him the others had some so it was best to be ready to defend himself. He laughed and took it before running off with it in hand. A few minutes later, Ryan and Jon end up by the merch booth and a decent amount of fans gathered to meet them. We gave Jon his choice of the thread bracelets and he chose three of them and then said, “I can braid them together. Want to see me braid them?” He looked around for a moment then held the ends of the three bracelets up to me. “Here, hold these.” he said, so I did and he started braiding them really quickly. “Have you ever had braiding competitions to see who could braid the fastest?” he asked me, but honestly, I’d never even thought of having braid competitions. Apparently, Mr. Walker does this in his spare time or something. We then tied them around his wrist and got him to sign and take a picture with him. We gave him this green glow in the dark bracelet that he was excited about and instantly snapped it so it would glow and put it on. We got pictures with him and left him to the other waiting fans. One of the fans had a Foxy Shazam poster from the venue that had been up advertising the show and Jon drew himself into the picture as a stick figure. Pretty awesome.
We stopped Nick White before his family (who were at the show considering it was a home show for the Georgia boy) got to steal him away. He was awesome enough to sign three of my Bright Eyes liner notes that I had brought with me. I told him my mother was from Georgia and that her maiden name was White and he laughed and said, “Do we have the same mother?!” Pretty sure Nick White and I are unofficially family now. (Edited: Since then, we've found out we're distant cousins for real, but we fondly refer to each other as siblings. He knows us his sisters when he come to a show and we call him our brother so that's cool enough for us.) I asked him how they differentiate between the Nicks usually and he said Nick Murray commonly goes by Nicholas with the band. However, Andy and Will had also said earlier they call Nick Murray “Wildcard” and Will said he called Nick White “Peaches.” Take any of those as you’d like. We gave a glow bracelet to him too and he said, “Oowh, I want a pink one!” Dinosaur Grab-bag result: pterodactyl. It fit nicely into his pocket too with it‘s orangey-yellow head sticking out to confuse people.
Jon was now finished talking to the crowd he had had earlier and so we let him play Dino Grab-bag and he got a stegosaurus that he was quite happy with actually. (I don‘t even know what these guys are going to do with them, but they were too epic not to get them.) Kelsey mentioned his lack of flip flops and he said it had started when they were moving equipment because he has a tendency to tumble over his own feet a bit. He even volunteered to take his shoes off if Kelsey preferred, but the ground was wet a bit where people was tracked things inside so we let him keep them on. He said also something about how they didn’t get to shower as much since they were in a van. I said, “Yeah, and they only have one shower here.” Jon nodded and cringed and said, “And I don‘t want to use it after those dudes have been in there.” He said it like he was a pretty clean little girl and boys were yucky. It was fabulous.
I gave [Ryan] a beaded bracelet. “Owh, it has my name on it,” he remarked, but almost instantly Jon appeared and held out his and said, “I‘ve got one too. Don‘t feel too special.” Ryan deflated a bit, but it was all playful as Jon wondered off again. I asked if it would be okay if he signed my Panic liner notes and he said, “As long as it‘s not their new album.”
Kelsey immediately goes, “Are you going to ask him?” I’d forgotten my question so she had to remind me. “Birthday…”
“Oh yeah,” I remember, “Did you get the flowers I sent you for your birthday?”
Ryan smiled a little. “Yeah, I did. That was you?” he asked, “They came to the studio.” (It was the only address I had found that would reach him and it actually took some stalking in itself.) I told him my mom owned a florist so I got them wired out to California for him. He shrugged a little and looked down and said, “It was nice to get them. Made me feel like someone still cared.” My little Ryan Ross loving heart just broke. How could he think someone didn’t?! And if I remember correctly, all the card with them said was, “Hope your have a great birthday, Ryan! Can‘t wait to hear the new music! -Lindsey”
We let Ryan pick a thread bracelet and he looked over them and picked one that Kelsey had actually made on the way to the show with Ryan specifically in mind. It was turquoise, tan, and dark green and she thought it was so ugly that no one would want it. Ryan held it up to his pale yellow shirt and said, "It matches, see?" Who knew Ryan Ross was concerned with matching clothes?
When we left, our oh-so-awesome mother had parked next to their bus in the back alley (she always parks in that alley at shows so it wasn‘t like she was stalking them for us). We passed the bus and saw Ryan’s gift basket in the front seat and Ryan’s fort thing in the back seat (yeah, it‘s still there..ha!). Anyway, she had parked next to the bus and it was dark enough that they couldn’t see us so we sat there when they came out and packed everything in. My mom was all like, “That‘s Ryan, right? And that‘s Jon? Who is that?” and funnily, “That little guy is 24?!” and she seriously thought Nick Murray was like 14.
Over all, the entire band is humble and sweet and anything but self-absorbed like some people want to make them out to be. Each one thanked us multiple times for coming and for the gifts and for being so nice and everything. Really, they’re great guys. Go see them. Talk to them afterward. You’ll thank yourself. Seriously. Worth every minute.
(Also, the tweets about bracelets, plastic dinosaurs, glow sticks, play-doh, Ryan‘s puppy&kitty coloring book page, and the “vixen” were all gifts we gave them. Seriously, I don‘t ever want to hear about these guys being anything but amazing to fans. THEY.RULE.)
More information from the comments:
By the way I don't think it said it in there but before I left that night I walked past Jon and he was combing his hair with his dinosaur complain that it was all sweaty and curly. What a dork.
Haha...he was complaining about his hair all evening. I had no idea his hair was such a big deal to him. But if he wants to comb his hair with a dinosaur toy, who are we to try to stop him?
oh god @ me being in the bg of your picture with jon... anyway i was gonna tell you that we met jon right after you gave him the bracelets and he spent like ten seconds looking at it saying, "they gave me a bracelet, look!"

OOC // It has been.... a day. Sorry, I usually try to keep things chill and fine but man I started crying because Applebee's got my order wrong. Today has been so full of bullshit, I genuinely hope tomorrow goes better or I'm gonna lose my shit. If you wanna read about my day- feel free to proceed. I won't be upset if you don't though.
First off, I couldn't sleep well last night. I fell asleep at like 5am? Woke up at 11 so I got alright sleep but it was not what I wanted. But that was fine. Didn't get time to grab breakfast before leaving for work since my partner was picking up, there was a whole car thing. But I think okay, sure.
I go to order breakfast from this fruit bowl place I like, for a solid 10 minutes door dash is saying "Pick up only." Which is annoying. Eventually it fixes and I go back, debating the restaurant but decide fuck it- I'll do the fruit bowl place. They messed up the order a few times but I was like surely I'll be better this time.
Wrong. I asked for no pineapple, extra banana. Usually this is no issue. Cheaper for them in fact. They left the pineapple, and removed the banana. This is the second fucking time. Like at least give me the regular amount of banana. Come the fuck on.
So it's fine. It's my coworkers last day at the shop so I ask him to make me a drink. A final coffee made my him before he calls it quits. Sure. Makes sense. If you saw my post earlier, you know where this is going.
He goes to leave, the coffee grinder goes weird and I have him come back and fix it since he hadn't gotten out the door. I go on about the day. Answer some questions then go over to the coffee bar and go to make a mocha. It's sticking a little weird so I get tired of the super pumping of it and grab it to clean it out. A actual small plume of green comes out of it. I just stare and pull it out. The whole length of the pump and inside of the bottle is coated in mold. So the drink I had... had that.
I basically just panic for the rest of the day. Which wasn't long but thankfully my partner was very kind and came in and chatted with me and helped me out while I cleaned. I just tossed the whole thing of chocolate sauce.
I get home, cool. We're gonna play a game a bit. I work on replies a bit then we get playing and there's no real moment to. Okay that's fine. Then we get this REALLY fun lucky break, we finish one of the events, and the world changes- so NO ONE knows we just did it. The treasure room is open too. Fuck yeah now we have an extra key. We don't know if we can unlock another but hell we're gonna try. So we grab shit annnnd then we get fucking jumped and obliterated by a PVP guy. We get one win and sell two of the more expensive items we have but that's about all we could manage.
So we're frustrated, go back to try to get revenge and the PVP guys just kill us again and we're like okay fuck off. And just- leave. Decide to hop out of the game. Dinner time, we're both hungry. We go cool we had plenty of left overs of katsu left.
JK roommates ate it all for lunch.
I'm so frustrated and trying not to be upset at roommates, it was really just like ANOTHER thing it wasn't a big deal. My partner goes. "Let's order something you want. Make the day better." So it's too late for what I really want but I settle for applebees.
My order is so fucking wrong when it gets here. I wanted just a plain cheese quesadilla. I bite into it, it's got pico or some shit on it. My partner goes out because my roommates are making dinner for one of them and they ask if I can be included.
I ended up getting alfredo but it was just... so tiring. I'm so over it. One of these would be NOTHING but all of it just kept piling on and I'm just like please for the love of stars please. Let me be.

FMA was absolutely my first anime. Like I had seen Ghibli films before and some other classics but this was the first series I got obsessed with. May I ask what made you fall in love with it? I can't remember the answer for myself but it remains on my list of formative work. ;___;
First off, I am SO SO SORRY for not answering this for literal months, I was seriously debating my response on this and I finally think I’m ready to answer this one. This is a bit of a rough story, so buckle in. Major TW for mentions of su/c/de, bullying, depressive episodes, and anxiety.
I discovered Fullmetal Alchemist about 3 or so years ago by my best friend and, without any sugarcoating or anything attached, it came at a pretty rough point in my life, at least my life so far.
I was going through the midst of my first breakup, and the awkwardness that came with trying to stay friends with the person afterwards with that big a strain on our relationship. I was at a school I felt isolated and trapped in, and I was also getting bullied and harassed despite begging the administration to do something about it. All this to say, I was looking for any out from my situation, any way to distract myself from the shitty hand I was being delt.
That’s where Fullmetal Alchemist came in. The show captivated my attention, mainly because it was the only thing getting me out of bed at the time. Everyday, I’d wake up at 5:30 to catch the bus, promising myself it’d be better today, and I could watch another few episodes before bed. I’d loose focus in my classes, because it was easier to daydream about being in the action with Ed and Al, following their story, rather than focusing on the pit in my stomach making me want to sob or yell at my bully to say something to me so I could finally get some solid proof to get the administration to do something about it. I’d draw pictures of Mustang, Ed, whoever in the margins of my notes, because it’s all it took for me not to rip them up and throw myself out the window on my worse days.
It might seem crazy or cringe to admit it or whatever, but that show stopped me from contemplating… well, you know what.
I’ve gotten help now. I’m happier than ever, I’m out of the situation I was in, I’m in therapy, and am a hell of a lot better at managing my brain.
But that’s not the only reason Fullmetal meant so much to me.
It’s such a confident, loud show. It has no shame for the topics it covers, and tells them in full truth, no sugarcoating. It made me feel like despite wrong I may or may not have did or will do, I still have the capacity to be a good person. It’s surprisingly really easy to lose sight of that in a depressive episode lasting a whole year. And goddamn, it’s just fun. I love reading/watching Ed and Al’s adventures, no matter what format. There’s a sense of ease knowing no matter what, they have eachother, and the people around them, who know their secret and situation, and can help them.
So TL;DR: bullying does not help make you a better person, you should watch Fullmetal Alchemist if you haven’t, and please for the love of god check up on your friends, you never know what they’re going through.

there’s a snake in my mind!
hey truth seekers, your pal bb here. today has been pretty f*ckin crazy. my days have only been wierder recently, so i think my normal theory posts may be on hold for a bit if i have to keep doing updates like this
i’ve got a lot to report and fill yall in on, so lets get started. this morning i walked to go look at the crime scene from last night at the pub to see if i could find any clues. im no investigator, but what happened didnt sit well with me so i had to check it out. well, i couldn’t because on my way back i found an old pal of mine of sorts in the same situation i was in last night. dead body infront of his house, right up the street from yesterdays murder. me and said pal started walking to his friend’s house, as he told me that his friend’s kid got a good look of at a suspect of the killings, and so naturally i tagged along because i want to get to the bottom of this. while we were walking there, i was with texting my good irl friend @ leonati about some reports he had recieved himself and how he planned on doing a reconnaisance mission by breaking into a house where apparently a fight was heard on a street nearby. i told him to try the front door first but he had stopped responding to my texts shortly after.
we finally get to my pal’s friend’s house, who turned out to be the guy who helped me out of a rough spot with the cops last night. i saw an ajar window and described what @ leonati looks like and asked if he’s seen him. before i got a solid answer i opted to just straight up calling him, and i could hear his phone going off in a nearby room.
i found him there with a woman (who i’m pretty sure was with the guy who got me out of the thing with the cops yesterday), it turns out he had broken in successfully, but that he had gotten the address one letter wrong, and at that moment we all heard a bloodcurdling scream from across the street with the sounds of crashing and a tussle. me, my old pal from highschool, his friend, that one woman who was with him (maybe his niece or something?) and @ leonati ran across the street to see the house in shambles. i rembered seeing the bodies of those killed being drained of blood partially, so i made the presumption that it could possibly be a vampire of some sort, so i quickly went into the kitchen to see if i could grab some garlic to protect myself.
buckle up boys and beavers cause this is where shit really hits the fan
i walked in and i just lost conciousness instantly. it was like falling asleep, but my muscles didnt loosen at all. when i woke up, i noticed some very important things. one thing is im across town, the second thing is that im at the local diner eating a weirdly good garlic sandwhich, third is that thirty minutes had passed, and most importantly that i had a bunch of texts from @ leonati about how i agreed to meet him by the sewer and that he was waiting for me. this absolutely f*cking terrified me because i said absolutely no such f*cking thing about meeting anywhere, much less the goddamn sewer. i called him and he picked up immediately as i tried to describe what on earth happened as i ran to the location where he said we were to meet. i got there, i saw him, and we started both frantically theorizing, tryng to solve this conundrum, when suddenly he fell over, and i saw someone standing behind him. i recognized him from the photo my highschool friend showed me instantly, it was the same guy suspected of the two recent murders.
i shot him point blank with my shotgun, but this motherf*cker didnt stagger back and bleed like a normal person, he dissintegrated into black ash that coagulated into some kind of black goo and sunk into the grass. i turned to try and see if @ leonati was ok, but before i could move i felt something grab me.
now this is gonna sound ridicolous, even from me, but i swear on the holy bible that every word of this actually happened:
a huge fucking snake with big leathery wings lifted me off the ground and tried to hypnotise me, scratching and bruising me like it was trying to crush my bones. i managed to free both of my arms good enough to grab my wire necklace and strangled the f*cker pretty well, but it got a real good slash on me with its talons before it ran into the sewers. i called an ambulance to get me and @ leonati as i got some small emergency surgery done on me as we were driven back.
when i was woken up in the hospital, @ leonati had already been discharged and sent back home. (glad you’re ok, dude) they had me stay to finish some tests, and i actually got to meet one of my followers in person for the second time ever. @ touch-tone-telephone-32 was actually working the the hospital and was going to be the one giving me the tests, and he left to go get the proper materials.
i then panickedly realized that it was almost time for my scheduled interview. i met my future boss over the zoom call, who seemed nice, and i actually got the job!!!!1! its a small custodial type gig in a local research center/power plant of some kind. i’m starting work tomorrow, and i’ll make sure to keep y’all updated on how it goes of course.
the day is ending with me and my family goin out to dinner to celebrate at the local diner, where i got to have that weirdly good garlic sandwhich again, this time with a bit of piece of mind. so uh. i wish i had a camera on me to record any of what happened today, especially the part where i randomly blacked out. i don’t know what that f*cking snake thing is, but it’s obviously harassing the town and needs to be stopped at any and all costs.
stay safe out there, and watch out for both deer and large flying snakes while driving
your pal, bb

Okay, so, serious answer, there are any number of good starting points for Trek, but there's also reasons to not pick one immediately either, so let me take these roughly by release date.
Also, this guide is useful for anyone attempting to get in to Star Trek, not just OP.
Original Series - Where it all began. Genuinely good, but if you're not comfortable with the acting styles of the 1960s (to say nothing of the aesthetics of the time, which were basically limited by a budget of about... two), it may not be your cup of tea. You'll see a lot of various floating details with regards to names and terminology and even dates, but the core storytelling is there. Some of these episodes are timeless. Some are best used for drinking game fodder. If you're not clicking with any given episode, you can always leave it for now and come back later - almost entirely episodic (occasional callbacks and one two-parter that repurposes the footage of the original pilot episode with an almost completely different cast).
The Animated Series - Basically TOS season four/five, just animated and crammed into a half hour runtime. Generally runs in to an issue of how in the 1970s, animation was seen as a "lesser" form of media, only really suitable for kids, so while the writing aspires to the heyday of TOS, the animation is budgeted worse than the design of TOS. That said, they take advantage of the medium to an effect you'll only really see matched today in terms of scenery and alien design with CGI. Probably not for beginners, but if you've gone through TOS, you might as well finish it out here.
The Motion Picture - Honestly, not that bad. In many ways, it's the pilot episode for a series that never happened (one of those ways being that's exactly how it started). As a result of that, it's a little slow in a lot of parts, basically any character other than Kirk and Spock (and maybe McCoy) are just kinda THERE, rather than genuinely contributing to the story, and the big epic panning reveal of the Enterprise is honestly done more for the benefit of the fans who kept Star Trek alive long enough to get a motion picture release, so even if it's long and self-indugent, I can't blame it. Enjoyable, but probably more so if you've already seen TOS.
The Wrath of Khan - One of the movies that people who don't like Star Trek has seen, although it's a sequel to a TOS episode, you get enough context from the film proper that seeing it is not necessary - you'll understand everything you need to by watching the film. Definitely recommended as a good entry point.
The Search for Spock - A direct sequel to Wrath of Khan, so you definitely are better off seeing that first. It's not strictly necessary, but it will hit different with the emotional context.
The Voyage Home - Technically the follow-up to both of the previous movies, but at this point, the studio wanted a lighter and softer, more general audience friendly film, so you don't really need those two to enjoy it. This is The One With The Whales, and it also serves as a good entry point. This is Trek having gotten itself figured out enough to relax and have fun with itself.
(Note: The next two movies came out during the course of TNG, but for organizational purposes, I'm grouping them with the rest of the TOS movies.)
The Final Frontier - This movie gets a lot of flak, and it's not undeserved, even if it's probably gotten so memetic that it's more likely to evoke "it's not THAT bad" reactions. Not recommended to start with, but worth seeing at some point.
The Undiscovered Country - This is meant as the grand finale for the TOS cast and crew. It's still a solid movie in its own right (it was honestly my personal introduction to the TOS cast, growing up as I did as a TNG/DS9/Voyager kid), but probably better serves as the wrap up it was meant to be.
The Next Generation - Back to the TV series, TNG takes a while to find its footing. If you are struggling with the first season or two, feel free to jump ahead to season three. Once it gets good, it's pretty solid, only starting to get wobbly again by the final season, but still ending on a high note. Like TOS, it's heavily episodic, though there are a handful of loosely connected arcs - you don't HAVE to see the episodes that came before, but the context helps. Definitely a good choice for your starting point.
Deep Space Nine - My jam, a high point of the franchise. If the flavor of the other Treks of the time are a little too squeaky clean for you, this is Star Trek getting its hands dirty. It gets more serialized as it goes, but still has an episodic element (having twenty-six episodes a season, they kinda have to keep that). Strong characters, ongoing stories, this is some of my favorite Trek that stands on its own. Not to everyone's taste, but a good story-driven series that digs deep into its characters. Good choice to start with, but it might spoil you for the rest of the franchise, because it does things that weren't done with others.
Voyager - Voyager is a heavily episodic series, often to its own detriment. You have a good spectrum of storytelling, of characters, and just general Trek shenanigans, but if you're looking for things that carry on between episodes, you're not going to be satisfied. Still, it's worth watching, and is probably also a good starting point, especially if you're looking for a starting point that doesn't demand that you watch every episode.
Generations - The first TNG movie, it follows the series and the TOS movies, so you're going to get the best context after that point. Meant to be a "meeting of the generations," your mileage may vary. Not good to start at.
First Contact - Much like Wrath of Khan, First Contact is a follow up to an episode of TNG, but you get enough context in the film to understand and follow along. In effect, it's a combination of the spirit of Wrath of Khan and Voyage Home, with the TNG cast instead of the TOS crew. If you want to start with a relatively low stakes introduction into the franchise, in terms of how much you as a viewer need to know going in, while still be reflective of what Star Trek is in the modern era, I'd probably start here.
Insurrection/Nemesis - Grouping both of these movies together because my brief summation is going to be roughly the same. These movies are probably some of the weaker entries in the listing. I only really recommend them if you're already committed to the franchise.
Enterprise - It tries, it really does, and it's probably better than its reputation has made it out as. Enterprise is a prequel series, so it's trying to be about the early days of the Star Trek universe, about a century before TOS. The problem is that its early days are fully of episodes written by people running on fumes from their time in the prior series, and by the time that it really starts getting its footing, it's abruptly cancelled before it can really deliver on its promises and hopes. Not a bad starting point, but there are stronger entries.
The Abrams Trilogy - Also grouping Trek 09, Into Darkness, and Beyond together, I do recommend Trek 09 and Beyond. Into Darkness, though, is honestly a problem for me, since it basically wants to do Wrath of Khan all over again. But 09 is effectively the origin story of a new branch of the TOS crew (for good and for ill), and Beyond made for a 50th anniversary special that showed the characters all getting their moments. If you only pick one of the three, go with Beyond.
Discovery - Discovery is a bit of a mixed bag. Basically, every season has been a serialized story that is in many ways retooling the series each season. If you don't quite connect with a story one season, the next season might be more to your tastes. Still, I would call it a good starting point, since it knew itself enough to know that it was the return to TV for Star Trek after over a decade of dormancy.
Picard - Sequel series to TNG and Voyager, for best results, watch those first. Not recommended as a starting point, you really want that context to get the context.
Lower Decks - You get the best out of this by knowing your Trek history, but a lot of the references and callbacks tend to be more offhanded, at least at first. A lot of people may judge it for the initial humor and portrayals, but the characters DO see growth and development, and there's a genuine sense that even the jokes about Star Trek in it it are 100% with love. Not a bad place to start, just will be prone to a lot of references to other Treks.
Prodigy - WATCH. THIS. SERIES. To pick one entry point, this is it, the highest recommendation. It'll be on Netflix as of Christmas Day, and it deserves all the love it can get, because it is genuinely about characters who are learning what Starfleet - and, by extension, what Star Trek itself - is. It is technically a sequel series to Voyager, but you don't need to have seen it to understand what's going on, those connections are more about giving you a launch point into what the rest of the franchise can offer.
Strange New Worlds - Direct spinoff of Discovery's first two seasons, and dealing with a lot of the aftermath of that point, SNW keeps to an episodic format, while having ongoing character threads. Good entry point in its own right, but you do appreciate some extra context offered by the first two seasons of Discovery.
In conclusion, Star Trek as a franchise is versatile, giving many places to enter (and, as a lifelong Trekkie, in my view, few exits :P). For my money, Prodigy is a good starting point (The first season is available in physical media and, again, will be on Netflix come Christmas), because it really asks the least of the audience first coming in, and follow that with any or all of TNG/DS9/Voyager, and mixing and matching from there.

Nia just needed a friend to do a hard mall trip. Trying out dresses. For a formal dance. And hey, maybe Lena and Kara are mad at each other but... She just needs Lena okay?
When Lena receives a call from an unknown number, she almost ignores it. But just enough people spread her phone number that she answers it on the off chance it might be someone who needs her.
“Lena Luthor, how can I help you?”
“Lena, please don’t hang up.”
The voice is familiar, but Lena can’t place it until the voice continues.
“It’s Nia. Nia Nal? And I know--” Lena almost hangs up right then-- not because it’s Nia, but because Nia treads dangerously close to a subject Lena is dead set on avoiding. Almost. “I know you have no reason to take my call, but… I need your help.”
Lena almost hangs up. She doesn’t.
“What do you need?”
---
The crisis, Lena learns, is that Nia has been given the assignment of her life covering the Golden Globes ceremony being hosted in downtown National City, but has nothing even remotely appropriate to wear. The mundanity of it all is so far from what Lena expects that it’s long moments before the words fully register.
“Uh, Lena…?”
“I’m here,” Lena says quickly, clearing her throat. She leans forward in her chair, rattling off an address. “Meet me there tomorrow at 11am.”
The next day, a few minutes after eleven, Nia walks up to Lena outside of Sylvie with hesitation all over her face. “Lena?”
Lena tucks her phone away and turns towards Nia with a professional but bright grin. “Nia, you made it.”
“Uhm, yeah actually… I kinda thought I’d gotten lost…”
Lena looks at her in confusion. “What do you mean?”
“Lena, I can’t afford anything on this boulevard, are you crazy??”
Oh.
“You’re not paying,” Lena says simply.
Wide eyes blink at her in shock. “What? No! No, Lena, I can’t ask you to do that--”
“I’m offering.”
“Look, I was thinking we could just go to the mall--”
“The mall.”
Nia quails under Lena’s judgement, and Lena softens.
“Nia, you are about to be on the red carpet, covering an event that could catapult your career into the stratosphere. I think that warrants something a little more than what a department store can offer.”
“But…” Nia continues to protest, but uncertainty colors her features, and Lena knows she’s slipped under her guard. Carefully, Lena places a hand on Nia’s wrist.
“I won’t force you to accept what I’m offering,” she says gently. “But calling a Luthor for help means calling for a Luthor solution-- and nothing says Luthor more than shopping at the best boutique in town.”
Nia nods, but she ducks her chin with a swallow. “It’s just…”
“Just what?”
“I don’t want you to think that’s why I called, you know?” Nia expels a sigh, working a harried hand through her hair. “It’s just that Kara was supposed to come with me for moral support, but she’s had to cancel four times and the ceremony is in three days and if Andrea hears one more time that I don’t have a dress, she’s going to kill me…”
“Nia,” Lena says softly. Nia stops, and meets Lena’s gaze with a hesitant one of her own. “I would never think you were calling for a hand out. I’m offering.” Nia still looks uncertain, but Lena holds her gaze. “You asked for help… so let me help.”
Nia considers her words, studying Lena carefully. Finally, she wraps her arms around herself with a steadying sigh. “If you’re sure…”
“I’m sure.”
Nia follows a few paces behind as Lena turns and approaches the door to the shop, lingering to let Lena be the one to press the buzzer to be allowed in. But as they near, the door opens for them, ready and waiting to admit them.
Luthors don’t use buzzers.
“Welcome to Sylvie.” A pair of well groomed attendants relieve them of their purses, exchanging their bags for a couple flutes of champagne offered by a third.
“Thank you,” Lena replies easily, well versed in the practice. Nia fumbles a step behind, her movements stiff and uncertain. Instead of moving directly into the belly of the store as she usually did, Lena lingers, allowing Nia the chance to take in the shop for the first time. The showroom looks much like any other, as could be glimpsed through the windows, styled with clean lines and immaculately dressed mannequins. The true Sylvie experience, however, happens further in, beyond the curtains that separate the dressing rooms from the rest of the store.
“If you’ll follow me, ladies, I’ll show you to your dressing room.”
Lena wonders what Nia expected as they approached one of the curtained off areas. Perhaps a cramped alcove like the hollywood thrift stores shown in coming-of-age films, where your elbows knocked the walls as you changed and you’d be lucky to find a stool to put your own clothes. Certainly it isn’t the plush, spacious room that awaits them, if Nia’s wide eyes are anything to go by.
Charnelle waits for them at the curtain. “Welcome, ladies,” she greets, parting the curtain so that Lena and Nia can slip inside. “Lena, lovely to see you again.”
“And you,” Lena returns.
“I’m Charnelle,” she introduces herself to Nia. “Wonderful to meet you. I’ll be assisting the two of you today.”
“Thankyousomuch,” Nia says in a rush, her shoulders tight as she shakes Charnelle’s offered hand.
Charnelle allows the curtains to close behind them, isolating them in their own little pocket of divine luxury. Lena settles herself on the central chaise lounge, folding her legs elegantly before her. Nia perches on the edge beside her, her gaze flicking to the small boudoir in one corner and another curtain that shields the actual changing area. Inside there, Lena knows Nia will find a plush bench to sit on as she undresses, and gold hangers to hold her clothes while she tries on various gowns. It’s designed to be beyond comfortable, a place where one could spend hours-- and lots and lots of money.
“So, what do you have for us today, Lena? Another benefit gala to dazzle?”
“Actually,” Lena replies, “Miss Nal here is covering the Golden Globes this week for CatCo Worldwide.”
“How exciting!” Charnelle rounds on Nia. “And what are you looking for in your gown?”
Caught with a mouthful of champagne, Nia freezes, then swallows audibly. “Um…” she coughs out. “Something nice? I probably shouldn’t be outdressing the stars or anything, so nothing too crazy?” She shrugs. “I don’t know, exactly.”
“Charnelle,” Lena intercedes, “could you bring us some formal options in black, maroon, or blue? Floor length, of course.”
Charnelle nods, beaming. “Absolutely.” She gives Nia a wink. “She has your colors nailed, honey. What are your measurements?”
Nia stares at them both. “Uh. A six, usually?”
“They’ll need your measurements to ensure a proper fit,” Lena delivers gently. “Do you mind if Charnelle--?”
“I’m trans!” Nia blurts, her chinks coloring a solid ear-to-ear pink. “Sorry,” she adds quietly. “But-- yeah. Just so you know.”
Lena stares, surprised more by the outburst than its content, but Charnelle takes it in stride. “So am I, baby girl,” she responds smoothly. “That doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to have a dress that fits.”
Breathing a sigh of relief, Nia finally, finally relaxes. She offers a shaky grin. “Okay. Yeah. Let’s do this.”
Charnelle gives Nia’s wrist a squeeze on her way to the boudoir to pull a tape measure from the top drawer. While she’s busy, Lena catches Nia’s eye and lifts her glass in a silent cheers of support. Nia rewards her with a small smile, before Charnelle returns and makes quick work of measuring Nia’s bust, waist and hips.
“All right!” Charnelle chirps, wrapping up her tape. “I’ll be right back with some options. You two stay here and get comfortable, all right? I’ll be right back.”
She disappears, and Nia all but collapses onto the chaise next to Lena. “I can’t believe I did that,” she groans.
Lena pats her on the knee. “You’re all right. Sylvie only gets my business because they know the value of discretion.”
“Yeah.” Nia lifts her head with a hum, surveying the dressing room once more. “This is nice. Thank you for talking me into it.”
Lena smirks. “Just wait.”
As if on cue, the curtains part to admit not Charnelle, but the woman who’d offered them their drinks. This time, her tray holds an array of small finger sandwiches. “Refreshments?”
“Oh, wow!” Nia exclaims, quickly helping herself to three. “Okay, yeah. I could get used to this.”
Lena grins, snaring a cucumber sandwich for herself. “Thank you. And another round, if you could,” she adds, seeing Nia’s empty glass.
The woman nods. “Of course.”
When she has disappeared again, the dressing room fills with quiet, and Lena realizes that she doesn’t have a clue what to say. She’s gone shopping with her mother, and with Andrea, and in both cases the conversation flowed easily, for better or for worse. But she’s never been shopping with a girl several years her junior, and never one in the middle of Lena’s biggest heartbreak.
“It happened the last time I went shopping for a dress too,” Nia says, breaking the silence. “The anxiety about… you know. I guess something about formal wear brings out the worst of it.”
Unsure of how to respond, Lena looks at her. “When was the last time?”
Nia sighs. “Prom. I’d transitioned by then, and most people were used to me, but I didn’t have a date, and part of me just internalized it as a fixture of me not being girly enough, and not, you know, the fact I didn’t know how to talk to boys, let alone date them. I didn’t even know if it was worth it to go at all, and I just-- started crying, right there in the dress shop.”
“What happened then?” Lena asks gently.
Nia smiles fondly. “My mom. She just hugged me, and told me how proud she was to have such a beautiful, confident daughter. It was sort of embarrassing at the time, but… it was something I needed to hear, you know?”
She pauses then as the server returns with their champagne. Afte the woman dips out again, Lena nudges her. “And did you ever find a dress?”
Nia snorts, nodding. “Yeah. Like, two minutes after I calmed down I found my dream dress. And my friends and I had a blast at prom, so I’m glad I went after all.”
“Good,” Lena murmurs, sipping her drink. “Well, I can’t promise anything about a dream dress, but I’ll call it a win if we get out of here without any tears.”
“Cheers to that,” Nia concurs, lifting her own glass for a deep sip.
In that moment, Charnelle returns, wheeling a short cart of long dresses along with her.
“All right, ladies-- who’s ready to see some gowns?”
---
Nia settles on a bias-cut gown of sky blue, accented with beaded embroidery at the bust and straps. It may not have qualified for dream status, but it’s perfect for the Globes, and Lena can tell Nia is excited by the time they step back out onto the street, garment bag draped over her arm.
“Thank you, again,” Nia offers, hiking her purse higher on her shoulder. “You really didn’t have to do all this, especially with how weird things are right now. I know it probably wasn’t easy to say yes when I called last night.”
Lena blinks. It honestly hadn’t occurred to her to say no. “Nia?”
“Yeah?”
“Why did you call me?” It’s her turn now to shift uncomfortably on her feet. “I’m always happy to help, but… as you say, things are weird. Why me?”
“Honestly?” Nia asks. Lena nods. “You remind me of my mom. I can’t begin to tell you how or why, but you do. And the thing is… my mom was probably the kindest person I’ve ever known. So-- if you reminded me of her, I figured you were a pretty safe bet. And the worst you could do was hang up on me, so…”
Right.
Lena nods, her throat locking painfully around a sudden lump in her throat. Forcing a smile, she clears her throat. “Okay. Well… I’m glad I was able to help. Are you okay to get home?”
Nia nods easily. “Yeah, I’ll just catch the bus. Thank you again. This was really nice, and it was really good to see you.”
Lena nods, but before she can turn away, Nia catches her by the wrist.
“I mean it, Lena. I owe you one. If you ever need anything…”
Lena turns her wrist, allowing her hand to settle into Nia’s palm. Giving it a squeeze, Lena offers her a smile.
“I know who to call.”

Squeals in excitement about this one. Here’s the Master List if you want to read more.
A Visitor
Addie had been crying all night. Sirius tried burping her and feeding her and changing her diaper and her clothes. He’d tried singing to her and rocking her. He’d checked for a fever or any bumps and bruises and nothing helped. He knew deep down that she wanted her Dad, which was making him worried.
After Addie was born, Sirius wanted to continue to spend the full moons with Remus. Certain that without Padfoot’s calming presence he’d end up hurting himself more, which the last few moons had definitely proven right, even with James there. But Remus didn’t want to leave Addie with Lily and James, or the Longbottoms, or even his mum. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust them. He just didn’t think it was good for Addie to be away from her parents so soon. He thought one of them should be with her in case something happened and Sirius knew that this too was the product of the moon. Of Remus’s own remembrance of that fateful night when Fenrir had crawled through his window, so he hadn’t argued.
But now, he’d spent the last twelve hours with a very cranky and overtired baby and he was worried, really worried, that somehow she knew something was wrong with her Dad.
He’d finally gotten her to settle, if not sleep, when the doorbell rang. Confused, Sirius got up to answer it. Remus would just apparate back and if not he had a key. He opened the door one handed to find his brother standing there instead.
The moment of dumb shock was broken when Addie started crying again, clearly upset that the person at the door wasn’t her Dad.
“Fuck,” Sirius mumbled as he wandered back into the house leaving the door hanging open.
“Um, can I come in?” Regulus asked from where he was still standing on the other side of the threshold like a vampire.
“I really don’t have the energy to argue with you right now so stay or go, just shut the door behind you.”
Regulus tentatively stepped inside and glanced around the messy living room where Sirius was currently overturning pillows as he looked for something.
“Where’s Remus?”
“Last night was the full moon,” Sirius said, failing to hide the bite in his voice. The annoyance that in the years between his brother had been allowed to forget, but his frustration was short lived in the presence of Addie’s continued screams. “Can you help me find Beans?"
“Beans?”
“He’s this stuffed hippo James got for Addie. He’s blue or maybe purple, you know how my eyes are.”
“Yeah, yeah, sure,” Regulus said as he helped Sirius overturn the living room. Out of all the possible scenarios he’d dreamt up for today, this was certainly not one of them. “Here,” he said as he found a stuffed leg sticking out from under the couch and produced Beans.
“Thank you,” Sirius said as he handed it to Addie who clutched onto it tightly as she continued to wail. He then proceeded to pull his t-shirt off, transferring Addie to the other hand so he could get it off the one arm. He then pulled at the snaps on her onesie until he could wiggle her out of it, with her shrieking louder when he had to tug Beans out of the way. Finally, she was in nothing but her diaper and Sirius pressed her and Beans to his chest and she started to settle. Her sobs turning into soft whimpers. Since that first day at the hospital this was the only thing that worked every time to calm her down.
With a sigh he flopped back onto the couch. “She wants her Dad,” he offered as explanation.
Regulus just looked at him in confusion as it was clear to him that her Dad was holding her right now.
“I’m Papa. Remus is Dad.”
“Oh.”
“Why are you here, Reg?” Sirius asked and he didn’t miss the way his brother flinched at the question.
“Remus sent me this,” he said as he pulled a photograph from his pocket. Sirius looked at it to see it was a picture of him feeding Addie. There was a solid crease line in the middle as if someone had kept folding it shut only to decide they needed to look at it again. “He told me he got hurt pretty badly when Addie was born.”
“Yeah, he almost died. I mean he did die for a minute.” His eyes lost focus somewhere in the distance as the sound of ambulance sirens filled his ears again and then Addie wriggled against him and Sirius was pulled back to the present as he began to rub circle into his back.
“I’m sorry. I should have been there.”
“Yeah,” Sirius said, too tired to pretend anymore. “You should have.”
“Listen Sirius, I - I don’t know what to say. I could tell you that I was upset when you left and I decided that the best way to deal with my pain was to make sure you were hurting as much as I was. I could say I was mad that you were able to walk away so easily and I wasn’t, but I don’t think any of it really matters. I don’t think any of it makes up for the time we lost.”
Sirius was silent for a moment. “Why weren’t you at the wedding?” he asked softly.
Regulus looked down at his hands. “I was.”
“Bullshit Reg. I spent the whole night looking for you. I would have known if you were there.”
“I wasn’t going to come and when I finally decided whatever grudge I had was stupid… I was too late. I got there and they were already stacking chairs.”
If what Reg was saying was true then that meant that Sirius had spent his wedding night crying over someone who had been a few flights of stairs away.
“I figure missing that ruined any chance I had at fixing whatever went wrong between us.” He was quiet for a moment. “Was it a good wedding?”
Sirius nodded, the memory tinted bittersweet as it always was. The joy of being with Remus mingled with the longing for his brother’s face to appear in the crowd. “He looked so beautiful. He still does.”
Regulus smiled at him for a moment before casting his eyes downwards again. Sirius wondered if they were thinking of the same thing. Of the last letter that Sirius had sent shortly after the wedding, about how it wasn’t fair to either of them for him to write anymore. The one that wished him well. The one that said goodbye.
“Do you want to hold her?” Sirius asked.
Regulus looked at him nervously. “Are you sure?”
Sirius shrugged. “If she starts screaming bloody murder you just hand her back to me.”
Regulus nodded. “Okay.”
Sirius got up and carefully passed her over to Regulus, showing him how to best hold her to make sure she was supported but that his arms wouldn’t get too tired.
Once she was situated, Regulus glanced down at her tiny face that was gazing up at his with curiosity. “She has your nose.”
Sirius murmured his agreement. “And Remus’s eyes.”
When Remus apparated back into the apartment on crutches a little while later, he was apologizing the second his feet touched the floor. “I’m so sorry love. I tried to get a note out to you from St. Mungo’s but I think they suspected something with it being the full and all and James - “ the words died in his throat as Regulus pressed one finger to his lips.
Remus took in the scene before him. His husband sound asleep on the couch and his estranged brother-in-law holding his sleeping daughter against his chest.
“Hi,” Regulus whispered.
“Hi,” Remus said, as he hobbled over, still a little stunned.
“Um, I think I’d like to be Uncle Reggie if that’s alright.”
Remus smiled. “I think that would be perfect."

The Gentle Giant's Breaking Point (Shoji x Reader)

In downtown Musutafu, Shoji, Tokoyami and Ojiro were wandering around the city packed with people on a bright, sunny day. A gentle breeze blew by, swirling around the hundreds of people who decided to get some fresh air for the first time in weeks.
The second the weather warmed up, food stalls and all sorts of vendors were back on the streets. Mouthwatering scents of sesame soba, senbei and taiyaki curled deliciously into the air and wafted over to everyone within the vicinity, enticing them over to buy the scrumptious street food.
At the first sight of spring, the students of UA scattered, all eager to spend their off day outside.
Kaminari, Bakugou, Kirishima and Ashido all went to the pool, the rest of Class 1-A following in a slow trickle.
It first was Hagakure who wanted to tag along, then Uraraka, then reluctantly Jirou followed by the rest of the girls.
Midoriya sheepishly asked if he could come along too, Todoroki following suit since he'd rather be anywhere than at an empty dorm and end up having to go home to his father.
Mineta was only allowed to come with Sero's tape restricting his hands and covering his eyes. He complained the whole way there that it was unfair but no one paid any attention to him.
Shoji let his arms fall to his sides as he strolled around downtown, following Tokoyami.
He hadn't particularly wanted to go anywhere, preferring to stay in the dorms. He didn't know when was the last time where it had actually been quiet. Not since before they moved in.
He didn't really have any complaints about his classmates. If anything, he was rather happy to live in a dormitory. It meant he got to see a lot more of you.
You were best friends with him, preferring to keep to yourself most of the time, just like him.
Maybe that's why you got along so well.
Shoji never tried to bother you but it was inevitable when the last class of the day would be dismissed and everyone paired off or huddled up in their groups to talk about anything and everything. He would just be at his desk, pulling out a book or getting started on his homework so he didn't have to worry about it later and you would come over, plop yourself down in the empty desk next to him and start reading a book without a word.
He didn't mind. He rather liked your company. It was quiet. It was nice.
He was going to ask you if you wanted to come with him, Tokoyami and Ojiro today but you were gone when he woke up. At least he had your number and he messaged you to make sure you were okay.
You responded back pretty quickly that everything was fine, you just had to take care of something first and then you'd meet them at the beach.
Shoji thought nothing of it. So when Ojiro asked if he wanted to come along with them downtown because Tokoyami needed to pick up more art supplies before their next class, he readily agreed.
He honestly didn't expect to see you there, let alone run into you. Literally.
You panted, rounding the corner, your eyes round with fear as adrenaline pumped through your veins. But you weren't watching where you were going.
Crashing into someone's very solid chest, your force knocked them over, sending the two of you toppling over instantly.
Springing up, you quickly apologized. "I'm so sorry!!"
All else blanked from your head as you saw who it was you exactly landed on and your jaw dropped open.
"Shoji?!"
Suppressing a groan, he sat up, encircling your waist carefully to ensure you wouldn't fall.
His brow furrowed in confusion as he helped the two of you up into a standing position, completely ignoring Ojiro and Tokoyami's questioning stares. "What are you doing?"
You opened your mouth to answer him when all of the sudden, you were hit by a blinding light.
Various enraged cries echoed from the alley you had just rushed out of.
"Get back here!!!"
"Shoot." You muttered under your breath. "My paralysis wore off."
"You're using your quirk?!" Ojiro exclaimed in shock. "You know that's against the rules!!!"
You ushered everybody into the nearest store hastily, hiding behind All Might merchandise to keep out of sight. "You want to lecture me now or after we call the police?"
While Tokoyami dialed for the local police, Shoji shifted closer to you, using his dupli-arms to hide you from view.
"Who are they?" He asked you.
He knew you weren't the type to go around causing trouble. If you had used your quirk, it had to be because you were cornered with no way out. He knew you.
And judging by that foreign, hesitant look in your eyes, you knew it, too.
"It's nothing, I'm fine." You mumbled under your breath, refusing to look at him.
Shoji didn't say anything else on the matter, dropping it entirely when a shadow passed over him.
You squeezed your eyes shut and held your breath as the men searched for you, your breath hitching when Shoji's grip around you tightened protectively. Too many times you had imagined his arms around you but this was a scenario you didn't exactly picture.
The sirens wailing outside had you relaxing the tiniest bit, the rest of the tension leaving your body as the police arrested the three men using their quirks to create destruction.
Shoji didn't let you go quite yet though. Not until he was sure every last one of them left.
Pulling back, he allowed you to slip out of his arms. And that's when he saw it.
The blood.
The cut on your cheek was smeared with crimson and he questioned how he didn't notice that sooner.
Cradling your cheek, he angled your face, his jaw ticking as he got a better look at your injury.
"Y/N."
You gulped as he used your first name without any honorific. You knew he meant business and your heart fluttered at how much he seemed to care for you in that moment.
You shoved down your feelings, forcing yourself to breathe normally, dreading that he would notice how nervous you were.
It wasn't that you really had anything to be anxious about, you knew Shoji would never judge you for any reason. Kind-hearted despite how often he had gotten teased when he was younger, he never let it affect him in any way other than pushing him towards his best self.
You always admired that about it.
Shoji was such a gentle giant and you were one of the few he told about his past and what ultimately led him to striving to become a hero.
Which is why you were so caught off guard by the anger simmering beneath the surface of his eyes as he tended to the abrasion on your cheek.
The officers contained the situation quickly, arresting those that were causing chaos. The same gang of boys who were responsible for your injuries. Tokoyami and Ojiro filed out of your makeshift hiding place first, reporting what you had seen before Shoji helped you up and they turned your attention to you.
All three of their expressions changed from quelled worry to disbelief as you denied all allegations they had clearly made against you.
Still, the police officers couldn't go against it if you didn't even admit to it but brought the boys down to the station for processing. They would be able to fit the pieces together later once the camera footage of the convenience store was recovered. Until then, they let you go.
After you refused medical treatment when the police arrived on the scene, absolutely hating hospitals, you trekked back to the dormitory to sort out your injuries.
They were rather mild and you weren't worried about it at all. The hero-in-training hovering over you though, said otherwise.
You sat on one of the many couches in the common area of Heights Alliance so that he could patch you up. It was a good thing that the dorms were empty since everyone was gone for the rare off day that they got.
Shoji had ushered Ojiro and Tokoyami to go on without him to meet up with the rest of their class at the beach, promising that he would look after you and make sure that you didn't actually need a hospital.
But you also thought it was to make sure you weren't going to do anything reckless again.
He had already scolded you for not taking your wounds seriously enough and insisted on treating them, which was a bit weird because he never was one for insisting on anything unless he felt strongly enough about it.
The atmosphere was tense as he put away the rest of the medical supplies, settling for a simple butterfly closure after he cleaned the area.
Now, he was staring at you as if he wanted to devour you. Heat flooded to your lower regions no matter how hard you tried to stop it. It was clear that he was frustrated, borderline angry and upset with you for reasons unclear to you but hope kindled in your heart.
There was no way he liked you like that. He never said anything about it before.
Regardless, no one should look that good while they were enraged. The silent fury simmering beneath the surface of his being was too good of a look on him.
"Are you going to tell me what that was all about?" Shoji questioned, peeling off his mask and revealed a deep-seated frown etched on his face.
Your breath caught in your throat. No matter how many times you saw his face, it never failed to take your breath away and stop time completely.
He was beautiful.
"I-I—" You stammered, at a loss for words due to his vulnerability in front of you. He clearly trusted you a great deal. You wanted to return the gesture.
Your heart rate spiked in nervousness and you swallowed hard.
Taking a deep breath to steady yourself, your voice got quieter and more solemn as you told him about these people who had been bullying your little brother. Your parents weren't in the picture, and since your aunt, who had taken the two of you in, didn't care much other than making sure you were fed and attending school, you knew you couldn't depend on her for help.
You had been bullied too, something you told your brother the second you walked in one weekend and he burst into tears. You felt horrible. At UA, you were too far away to protect him, but you promised you'd do something about it.
Logically, you knew you should've gone to the authorities. But you were just so blinded by rage and hell bent on revenge for these boys who had struck him across the face and punched him in the eye more than once that you weren't going to let it go on for a second longer.
Shoji was silent when you finished. You played with your fingers in your lap, unsure of what to do. Maybe you talked too much.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
Your head snapped up and you gaped. You didn't have an answer for him.
Shoji sighed and his eyes saddened. "You can rely on me, on our friends. We would have helped you."
You looked back down, his gaze too intense for you to hold. He was staring at you too earnestly and you felt the hurt that resonated within him at the actions you didn't take to reach out towards him.
"I know." You whispered. "But I didn't want any of you to get involved."
A discontented noise emitted from the back of his throat and Shoji's mouth pressed in a hard line, clearly disagreeing with you but not voicing it.
The silence turned uncomfortable and you shifted in place, discreetly rubbing your thighs together as a shiver passed through your body.
Your eyes widened as he draped his shawl over you. You gulped as Shoji bulking form loomed over you, your heart now beating faster for another reason entirely.
"S-Shoji?!"
"Mezo..." He murmured. "We're alone. You can call me Mezo."
This wasn't anything new, you had already been comfortable enough to call him by his given name when the two of you were on your own but this was the first time he had requested you to say it before you got a chance to speak it.
He beat you to the punch. How unlike him.
You blushed, arching your back into his touch as he gripped your waist and drew you close to him to warm you up, heat flooding to your lower regions without permission at his low voice. "Mezo."
He groaned, his head falling into the crook of your neck at how intimate his name sounded when it fell from your lips. Physical affection wasn't rare between you two, but it largely remained platonic.
Until now. He couldn't suppress it any longer.
Capturing your lips in a heated kiss, he moved over you, unable to stop himself from pinning you to the couch.
"Ahh~" You moaned as he detached himself from your lips, keening as he continued down, pushing his jacket out of the way for better access to your neck. You weren't against this, but it was going too fast. You wanted him to slow down so that you could at least see him. "M-Mezo, w-wait..."
Stifling a groan, he reluctantly parted from your skin, catching your gaze.
Worried he had made you uncomfortable, he questioned, "Do you not want this?"
After you shook your head so violently that he was surprised you didn't knock into anything, he raised an eyebrow when you didn't express anything else.
"Then what's wrong?" Shoji asked lowly, voice gravelly and giving away just how much of an effect you had on him.
You bit your lip shyly at how you probably looked. Spread out for him, flushed to the core and panting. Your mind was racing. He had kissed you.
"S-Someone could walk in," You objected, stammering as you were only half aware that you guys were in the common area. "Don't you think we should— holy shit!!"
While you were protesting, he took the opportunity to latch onto the sweet spot under your neck, sucking harshly.
You couldn't help but whimper, your hands splayed against his broad chest as he continued to paint your skin with splotches of purple and pink.
"Mezo, come on, we should— eep!!"
Fed up with your objections as it hindered his passionate onslaught to your supple skin, Shoji hooked your legs around his waist, his huge hands cupping your ass as he practically sprinted to his room.
This time, your lips descended onto his, connecting the two of you together all the way there. You rocked against his hard-on pressed in between your bodies, moaning into his mouth as your core throbbed with need.
A growl ripped from the back of his throat as you did, and he leaned down to lay you on his bed, never separating himself from you for a second.
Cupping his face with both of your hands, you parted your lips, letting him explore your hot cavern. He slotted his body between your hips.
The two of you groaned in tandem as one of your hands slithered down to cup the stiff bulge and you whimpered when he pressed his knee against your clothed core. The pressure made slick pool in your panties and caused it to stick uncomfortably to your wet folds.
"Y/N..." He breathed shakily, his eyes clouded, giving away how much you affected him. "Can I—"
"Yes, please." You cut him off, unable to wait a second longer. "Please, Mezo, fuck me?"
Shoji's eyes widened and his cock got impossibly harder, straining against the confinements of his pants as he heard you beg for him. Beg for his cock to fill you up.
Fuck, that was so hot.
Your core was already throbbing with the need to have him inside of you. If he didn't do something soon you were sure you were going to combust.
Seeing his hesitancy as his fingers danced along the waistband of your pants, you quickly got tired of waiting and undressed by yourself, throwing your clothes in an uncaring heap onto the floor.
His eyes grew round in awe as your bare skin, breasts and that special place between your legs was revealed for him to freely drink in as you laid out before him, not an ounce of shame coloring your cheeks, save for the pink tips of your ears.
Cute.
Your back arched as his mouth latched onto one of your nipples, his big hands kneading the soft flesh, going harder when your response spurred him on. You whined as he flicked the pebbled tit, crying out as he bit down on it gently, a shock shooting through your system.
Shoji was studying every single one of your reactions to his touch, drinking it up as his eyes devoured you with barely restrained hunger.
"So... you like to be treated roughly..." He mused as he pulled upwards, your body following his touch as he let go of your breasts abruptly. "That's very interesting."
You whimpered in protest but that faded as he took his shirt off, the defined and sculpted muscle enough to make you forget what you were about to complain about. He was ripped, his torso flexing powerfully as he threw his shirt in the direction of the growing pile of clothes.
Licking your lips, you pulled him down to his level as he hastily undid the button of his pants, shoving it just past his hips so that his cock sprang free.
Your jaw dropped. He wasn't wearing underwear?!
Aside from that, he was fucking huge. How was even going to fit inside of you?!
You weren't given any time to dwell on his size as a finger probed your entrance. Your hands shot down to his wrist instinctively.
"M-Mezo, I'm s-sensitive—!!"
You cut off with a cry as he slipped it in, stretching you out.
Shoji closed his eyes, trying to restrain himself but you were just so hot and tight, pulsing around his finger like nothing else he ever felt.
"Is it too much?" He asked caringly, kissing you to ease you through it. You were unbelievable tight, he could already feel you clenching down on his single digit. "Do you want to stop?"
If your mind wasn't clouded with lust, you would've picked up on the subtle teasing lilt of his voice, as though he already knew what you were going to say.
"No..." You protested, squeezing your eyes shut, unknowingly doing exactly what he expected.
You could take it. You wanted him to make you take it.
Your eyes widened as he cursed behind you and that was when you realized that you said that last part out loud.
Oops. You were really in for it now.
You gasped in surprise as his hands released your wrists, but it was only temporary as he hooked your legs around his waist before he was immobilizing you again. Struggling slightly even though you were clearly overpowered, you begged for him to let you touch him before you died but he refused, shutting you up with a passionate kiss that stole your breath away.
Your body lurched and you wailed as he finally sank into your cunt, moaning and panting like a dog in heat as he sheathed his massive member all the way inside of your spasming channel.
A broken whimper of his name fell from your lips as his hips finally pressed flush against your ass, mewling as his balls rested against your puckered hole. You buried your face into his neck, ashamed of your reaction. He had barely done anything yet and already you felt like you were on the brink of cumming.
"Mezo—" You warned breathlessly, mouth gaping at the sheer size of him, your hole struggling to adjust. "Ngh!!"
Shoji braced himself up on his forearms, swearing under his breath as you clamped down around him. His fingers laced with yours from where he was still pinning your arms over your head, bending down to kiss you in order to distract you from the stretch.
You were hot, tight, and squeezing him with so much force, he already felt like he was going to cum. Stuttering out your name, he hissed as you clenched around him again.
"Y-Y/N, stop— don't do that." He begged, one of his hands fisting in your hair as he held onto his last thread of restraint while you adjusted to his size.
"C-Can't help it, Mezo." You whimpered, scratching his broad back as you fought the urge to arch your hips, knowing that was just going to encourage him to move before you were ready. "You... You're so big."
He had never prided himself on things like this, by how much he received praise or compliments from others so that he didn't have to question the authenticity of it, preferring most times to simply acknowledge it then let it go so that it didn't go to his head.
But he couldn't help it with you. There was something about the way you said it that ignited a flame of passion inside of him and it could not be put out.
Your nails dug into his back and a moan ripped from your throat as you felt him swell inside of you, catching on your walls without even trying.
"M-Mezo?!" You cried out in shock. "Why are you getting, oh fuck—"
A guttural groan sounded in the empty space and he let go of you, straightening up.
"You're so tight and warm." Shoji moaned, his left hand fisting the sheets as he gave a few experimental rolls of his hips, the other caressing your hip while his eyes fixated on where the two of you were joined together. "You feel like heaven, Y/N."
You squeaked in mortification as he said that, clapping a hand over your mouth as he thrusted into you harder, unable to contain the sounds spilling out of your mouth any longer. He felt so good inside of you. Pulsing and hot, thick and hard, it was a wonder how you were delirious with pleasure on his cock.
"Fuck..." You hissed through clenched teeth, your eyes tightly screwed shut.
Shoji stilled instantly, worried he had hurt you. His eyes scanned over your flushed face in concern.
"Are you alright? Do you want to stop?" He asked quickly and would've pulled out of you if your legs didn't lock around his hips, preventing him from even thinking about it a second longer.
You desperately shook your head then yanked him down to your level.
"Go fast, Mezo, fuck me hard." You pleaded. "Please."
There was no time to feel embarrassed by the words that came out of your mouth as he obliged instantly. Stars blinded your vision and you arched into his touch as he fucked you with a vigor that wasn't present before.
Shoji slammed your wrists down above your head and he kissed you hard, all of it teeth and tongue as he licked away your whimpers before they could break the symphony of wet skin slapping against skin that broke through the still atmosphere of his room.
Both of you were glad everyone was gone for the day because with how much noise you were making, it was clear what was going on.
His lips glossed over your pulse point, licking and sucking at the flushed skin there, marking you once again.
You shivered at the sensation of having him pressed against you and yet still attending to you with the same care you had come to expect from him. Your best friend now turned lover. If this was going to be more than a one-time deal.
"Mezo!!" You cried out as he finally pulled away from your neck, satisfied with the purple that bloomed there.
Shoji's teeth sank into your shoulder as he came deep inside of you, painting your walls with hot, thick and sticky ropes of cum.
You whimpered as he emptied in your ripe cunt, his release setting off yours and the powerful shockwaves of your orgasm crashed over you like a tsunami, causing your body to tremble uncontrollably. The copious amounts of his cum leaked out the instant he pulled out of you and your hole fluttered, no longer having his length to stuff you to the brim. You felt a bit sad now that you were left empty, and sat up, thinking that you guys were done.
How wrong you were.
You didn't have to look down to see that he was still hard as his cock pressed against your inner thigh the moment he kissed you again.
"Mezo?!" You shrieked, moaning wantonly against his lips as he moved over you once more. "How are you still hard?!"
He groaned, obviously in discomfort for having been denied even though he just came. "I'm sorry, Y/N, I need to cum again to make it go down."
Your tongue darted out to wet your lips at the sight of the leaking head and you moved to try and suck him off, wanting nothing more than the taste of him on your tongue as he shot his last load inside your mouth but he shook his head and stopped you short.
"You don't have to do that." Shoji said quickly, his cheeks flushing pink as he imagined you with your ass up as your cheeks were stuffed with his cock. Fuck, you'd look so good like that. But he had something else in mind.
Your eyes had glazed over a long time ago from the pleasure that he delivered to your system.
"I want to." You implored, batting your eyes at him, pupils blown wide.
Shoji surged forward, kissing you harder than last time and you melted into his touch. Any other time, he wouldn't fight you on it. But he didn't want to make you work any harder, even if it looked like you really wanted to suck him off. For now, he was content just to see you like this.
Spread out in front of him for only his eyes to see.
"Can you lay like this, Y/N?" He asked, gently maneuvering you onto your tummy and perking your rear up as a hand trailed down your spine to get you into the position he wanted to see you in. "I'll finish quickly."
You moaned quietly, still turned on and horny from before. Even though he had satisfied you so completely, there was a part of you that still longed to have him again.
You wanted him to stuff his cock in you like this.
So you couldn't help but mess with him a bit as the slick sounds of him jerking himself off started and breathy moans fell from his lips. You could go another round for him.
Poking out your ass a bit more, you smiled to yourself as his breath hitched and his movements stuttered. Swaying it from side to side purposefully to entice him, you were shocked when it worked a little too well, bringing out the beast in the tame boy that was your best friend.
Your eyes shot open and your jaw dropped open in a soundless cry as he pushed into you without warning, sinking his fat cock balls-deep into your pussy still quivering with the aftershocks of your last orgasm.
"Mezo!! Ahhh—" You cried out, caught off guard but unbelievably turned on so much that it filled you with shame.
A messy mixture of your juices and his thick cum pushed out of you as he rammed into you all the way to the hilt and all the oxygen disappeared from your lungs.
The sloppy sounds of your cunt making as he fucked you into his bed had you gripping onto his pillow and slamming it against your face to curb all the noises that were tearing from your throat.
It was yanked out of your grasp a second later.
"Don't hide, let me hear you." Shoji begged, unable to help himself from shoving his cock into the deepest parts of your little cunny. You looked so pretty spread out underneath him like this, at his mercy entirely as he pinned you down. Your arousal ran down your thighs as he continued to fuck you, his fat cock stuffing your hole perfectly.
Like you were made for him.
He threw his head back, he redoubled his efforts to make you feel as good as your pussy was making him feel.
"You look so beautiful when you're taking my cock like this." Shoji whispered to himself in awe, disbelieving that his dream was finally coming true after all this time as he watched his length disappear into you over and over again, completely entranced. "Feels so good, hhgh—!!"
Your hole fluttered around his thick girth, struggling to take his size as he pumped in and out of you at an alarming speed.
Whining, you could do nothing else but take it as he pounded you raw and rough, his hips slapping into your ass with a vigor that blanked your mind and left you gasping at the sensation.
Your wrists, still pinned down by his hands as his duplicated gripped your hips for stability as he got you closer to that peak, strained against his strength as the pressure built up in your stomach. "Mezo...'m gonna... gonna—"
"Gonna cum for me, pretty girl? Cream your cunny on my cock?" Shoji murmured, reducing his thrusts to sharp ruts, focusing all his attention on that little spot that made you see stars. "C'mon, give me one more. I need it."
That did it.
Your orgasm washed over you and your eyes rolled into the back of your head, your body trembling violently as he continued to push your limits, pumping in and out of you erratically before emptying himself into you with a deep groan.
Face flushed and eyes glassy, stilling rolling back from the throws of the intensity of your orgasm, you panted, twisting back to meet him in a kiss much softer and more loving than all the previous ones.
Now that his pent up frustration had been dealt with in the best possible way, he pulled out of you with a soft grunt, kissing you wordlessly when you whined at the loss of him.
Shoji hushed you softly as he cleaned the mess dripping out of you with a warm washcloth, urging you to go to the bathroom.
You couldn't stand up though, lacking the strength after that very thorough dicking down he gave you. Legs like jelly, you would've collapsed to the floor if he didn't catch you in time, pulling you up to his chest to carry you the rest of the way.
You hid your face in the crook of his neck as he took care of you, seeing as how all your energy was depleted. Slapping his chest halfheartedly in embarrassment as he chuckled when you jolted as he cleaned the sore but achingly sensitive bud between your legs.
Shoji nudged your ear with his nose, murmuring softly. "Are you alright?"
You hummed, eyelids heavy as you started to drift off.
He kissed the top of your head before bringing you back to bed so that you could take a nap. Somewhere between the walk from his bathroom to his bed, you stirred, arising from your light slumber only to be met with a concerned expression.
"Calm down, Mezo," You giggled, pecking him on the lips softly. "I'm good."
His shoulders slumped in relief. He was kind of worried he had broken you after a session like that. Scratching the back of his neck once you laid down, he hesitated before speaking.
"Don't worry me like that again. You're too reckless for your own good." He told you, anxiety resting heavy on his features.
You wiggled your eyebrows at him suggestively. "I don't know... That was a pretty good punishment if you ask me."
Shoji rolled his eyes but a hint of a smile played upon his lips. "I'm serious, Y/N."
Your smile disappeared and you nodded solemnly, sheepish now that you had been chastised.
"I know, I'm sorry." You apologized quietly, remorseful. You hadn't meant to worry him or any of them really. You honestly thought that you could handle it.
You had fought villains before, you thought you could tame a few punk kids who were bullying your little brother. You almost felt ashamed that they had managed to best you.
The initial idea was to capture them and report them to the authorities, since they were a part of a crew who liked to rob stores for fun, but the tables turned on you when they freely used their quirks on you.
Luckily, you had been able to dodge most of them, only sustaining minor damage from an attack you hadn't avoided in time.
Shoji knelt down by the bedside and your brow furrowed when he didn't climb under the covers with you.
"Mezo?" You squeaked when he engulfed you in a hug, all your insecurities melting away as his warmth flooded you.
He trembled as you said his name but otherwise didn't move. Instead, he mumbled something against your neck and you laughed.
"I can't quite hear you." You teased him, prying him away to get a good look at his eyes. They were swirling with an unknown emotion and you swallowed hard. "What's wrong?"
Shoji stared at you, his gaze boring into your soul as he took down all your walls you had built up around your heart to protect yourself with an ease that shocked you.
"Rely on me." He murmured, lacing his fingers with yours and gulping at how small your hands were compared to his. "I want you to rely on me like..."
You couldn't breathe. It sounded like...
"Like what?" You prompted breathlessly, not daring to hope that he was going to say what you so longed to hear from him.
His cheeks pinked and he turned away from you. "Nothing."
Your heart sank into your chest and you visibly deflated.
"Oh..." You said softly, expression saddening when he refused to look at you.
Gathering the sheets around you to cover your naked body, you suppressed a shiver as the cold air got through and you blindly reached around for your clothes on the floor.
Shoji's mouth pressed in a hard line and he shook his head. Any other time, he would be there to help you but not now. Not when his mind was racing with the possibilities of what could go wrong if he confessed his true feelings for you right here and now.
It was overwhelming him and he felt overtaken by fear that you would reject him, destroying the close friendship you had.
But...
"Y/N."
You straightened up, fumbling with the sheet as it accidentally slipped. But you blushed when Shoji draped his shawl over you, his scent filling your nose and you tripped over your words, thoroughly flustered for some kind of explanation as to why you were reacting like you were back in your first year of high school.
"I like you."
You balked, jaw dropping open in shock.
Shoji actually jumped back, startled as you swore in front of him.
"You're kidding."
His brow furrowed in confusion and he crossed his arms. "No, I'm perfectly serious."
You shook your head. There was no way that he, the coolest, most respectable and kindest guy you have ever met and had the privilege of calling your best friend, liked you back.
But judging by that affronted look on his face, you might've jumped to conclusions too soon.
Warily, you approached him, abandoning the search for your clothes.
You hastily apologized. "I'm sorry, I guess it's hard to believe how someone like you would be interested in me."
Now in front of him, you had a chance to see how much he towered over you. It was different from when you would hang out in each other's rooms where he would crouch down on the floor or sit on a chair so that the height difference wasn't so obvious.
But you felt safe as he curled his arms around you tentatively, even though it was such a contrast to how he was fucking the brains out of you earlier.
"Well, I do." Shoji murmured into your hair as he brought you in for a hug, firm and unyielding in his feelings for you even though you had yet to say anything.
You hadn't said it back but you hadn't shot him down either. He didn't know if it was foolish to hope for a chance that you would want to be with him too, or perhaps, oh no, had he made you uncomfortable?
Maybe you weren't saying anything because you didn't know how to reject—
"I like you too." You mumbled into his chest.
This time, Shoji was the one to do a double take. "Y/N?!"
"Oh hush." You said, hiding your face from his frantic gaze so that he couldn't see how red your face was. Confessing feelings was exhausting and now you wanted nothing more than to crawl into bed with your new boyfriend.
Shoji's chest rumbled underneath your fingertips and just when you thought your face couldn't burn anymore out of embarrassment and shyness, he leaned back and tipped your chin up.
"I'm glad you return my feelings." He smiled, a pure smile that radiated the most wholesome level of happiness possible and your heart skipped a beat.
You found you mirrored his joy instinctively, it was contagious. And when he closed the distance to kiss you once more, it sealed a pact that would stay forever and could never be broken.
"I think I'll have to be more reckless from now on." You breathed when he finally pulled away and a small pout formed on his lips.
"Y/N..." Shoji warned, not finding your joke funny in the slightest.
You giggled, looping your arms around his neck as you stood on your tiptoes, booping his nose with yours. "I'm kidding, but I do think it was worth it."
He raised an eyebrow. "And why is that?"
You grinned, a cheeky smile that told him he hadn't seen the last of your mischief.
"Because it finally got you to confess."

the aftermath of 'i love you.'
this is the sequel to my fic how kaz would react to 'i love you.' which was basically all angst. spoiler alert: this is all angst, too.

summary: what happened after you said 'i love you,' to kaz
tags: gender neutral!reader, angst, unhappy ending
warnings: swearing, self-deprecating thoughts, and i think that's it? but pls lmk if anything else is needed
read on ao3
a/n: the writing quality of this really went 📉📈📉 but in my defense i wrote most of this while my brother watched tommy innit videos at full volume so ofc i was distracted.
and fyi muzzen is not an oc, he's one of the minor minor characters in soc!
once again, feedback and reblogs are appreciated! hope you enjoy reading <3
Kaz's pov
He watched you from the other side of the room as you blatantly flirted with Muzzen. He had his glass of kvas (Jesper had begged for the club to order the ravkan mead for weeks) in a death grip. You ran your fingers through your hair, and smiled at something Muzzen had said. He tugged lightly on the collar of your jacket, making you laugh softly. Kaz's heart tightened, jealousy settling in his chest.
You looked happy, even as you conversed with the brainless bodyguard who probably couldn't count up to ten. Kaz hadn't been able to make you happy like that. But you had loved him anyway, and he had 'fucked you over', as you'd put it.
I love you.
You're a coward, Brekker.
Kaz let out something in between a sigh and a frustrated grunt. He drained the rest of his drink in one go, and set the glass down more violently than he'd intended. His scowl deepened, if that were even possible, when he sensex Inej slide into the seat next to him. He waited for her to speak, because he sure as hell wasn't going to initiate the conversation. What was there to say? You and him were over. And it was all his fault.
"Kaz," Inej said. Her tone of voice was gentle - too gentle. He didn't want to be pitied, for fuck's sake.
"What is it, Inej?" he snapped.
"Tell me what happened between you and Y/n."
"Nothing to tell." He shrugged.
Annoyance flickered over her face. "I care about you both, you know," she said. "I don't like seeing you two like this."
He gave her a withering look, if only to disguise the ugly feeling that flared up within him at her words.
Don't care about me.
Don't love me.
You can't.
Kaz bit the inside of his cheek and hung his head. He studiously ignored Inej for a solid minute. At some point, he noticed that you and Muzzen had abandoned your corner table, most likely to go suck each other's faces off. The thought sent jolts of jealousy through his heart.
"For Saint's sake- did she break your heart? Is that it?" she demanded, apparently having had enough of his silence.
He 'tsked' in annoyance, standing up abruptly. He snatched up his cane. "Maybe I broke hers," he muttered before walking off. He didn't want to answer questions today. Or ever.
Inej didn't follow him, and he was thankful for that. He trudged up the stairway, the rickety steps creaking under his weight. Emotions swirled within him, brewing up a storm. It was just a matter of time before he exploded, because as much as he hated to admit it, he was still human. Especially when it came to you.
You had been one of the first people to see his humanity, and the last thing he wanted was to become another monster in your life.
But then again, maybe it was too late.
Suddenly, he bumped into someone. He hissed, flinching backwards. "Watch it-," his next words died on his tongue when he looked up, and came face to face with you. For a few, painfully awkward moments, the two of you held eye contact. Your face was stony, but your e/c eyes betrayed some kind of emotion that Kaz couldn't be bothered to decipher right now.
"Sorry, Brekker," you apologised. Your tone was flat. "C'mon, Muzzen," you gestured for him to follow you back down with a jerk of your head.
His hand twitched at his side as you left, almost as if his body yearned for your presence. Your shoulders nearly touched - missing each other by less than a centimetre. He couldn't decide if that was a good or bad thing.
Letting out another sharp breath, Kaz resumed the walk back to his room. His footsteps grew quicker and more urgent. Your name echoed in his mind, as well as the three words that had haunted him for days now.
Y/n. Y/n. Y/n.
I love you, I love you, I love you.
He slammed the door behind him when he finally reached his quarters. His cane fell to the floor, although his gloves stayed on. He stumbled into the cramped bathroom, bracing two hands against the rusty sink. He twisted the tap open, ignoring the squeak of the old mechanism that would have otherwise annoyed him. A gentle stream of water flowed from the tap head, and he splashed some on his face.
No, he thought stubbornly, I am not going to break down because of Y/n.
The despair that rattled inside of him said otherwise.
f only he had reacted better when you'd told him you loved him. If only he hadn't yelled at you and called you all those horrible things that weren't true about you in the slightest. You weren't selfish at all. You were the exact opposite. You were kind, and thoughtful, and understanding - so, so understanding of him and his endless baggage. And he had- he had ruined it all, because of his own cowardice.
You're a coward, Brekker.
I know, he thought, not for the first time. I'm sorry.
· · ─── ·𖥸· ─── · ·
Your pov
"I- I'm sorry, Muzzen, but I think I'm gonna turn in for the night," you said to the bodyguard, smiling sheepishly. "I've got a bit of a headache."
"It's alright," he said, giving a half-hearted smile back. It was clear he didn't believe you. You didn't know if that was because your acting skills weren't as up to par as you thought, or because the bodyguard was smarter than you made him out to be.
You all but ran up the stairs, nearly sagging in relief as the door closed behind you. You suddenly couldn't stand the feeling of the fabric of your coat on your skin and shrugged it off; Kaz had bought it for you, because of course the reminder of him lingered everywhere you went.
Your room wasn't anywhere near big, but it was a good way away from Kaz's, and for the first time, you were grateful for that. You couldn't deal with him at the moment.
Wait, no, that came out wrong. It wasn't him specifically that you couldn't deal with, it was the bad memories (or, rather, memory, as there was one key shitshow that had ruimed everything) that came with him.
Oh, Saints, why, why, why had you told him you loved him? Things had been going so well! And then you- you fucked it up. Yes, you had blatantly blamed this on Kaz the day of the argument, but deep down, you knew you were the one at fault.
Your heart ached every time you thought of him. You missed Kaz. So, so much. It hadn't escaped you how he had been eyeing you and Muzzen earlier in the evening. You could only hope that he was staring out of jealousy, and not devising some foolproof plan to get rid of you.
What would it take for Kaz to forgive you? Or had you fucked things up beyond repair?
"Shit," you whispered, leaning your head against the wall. Tears burned at the corners of your eyes. "Shit." You didn't know what exactly was 'shit'. Maybe the decision you came to moments later.
I'm going to apologise to him," you said to your empty room. "I will."
With a sniffle, you cracked open your door and slipped back outside. You had left your coat in a pile on the floor, making you vulnerable to the cold that pierced the empty areas of the Crow Club. Your feet carried you to Kaz's room naturally. You barely had to think about where you were going. Instead, you thought of Kaz himself.
Kaz. Your fallen angel, you used to call him in your mind. You couldn't express how sorry you were. You didn't even know what you were sorry for. Loving him? Loving him, and saying it aloud? Loving him, and saying it aloud, because you were so sure he felt the same way?
You had been being selfish. Kaz said so himself. Selfish and stupid. Of course Kaz didn't love you.
At last, you were in front of his door. You raised a fist to knock. Opened your mouth to call out. Except you did none of those. You just stood there, tears welling up in your eyes once again, a familiar pang of sadness in your chest.
He wouldn't want to see you. How could he? This was your fault, wasn't it? It was your selfishness, and your wishful thinking that had gotten you two into this position. You missed him, but you wouldn't go as far as to think he missed you, too. If you attempted to apologise… would it really be for him?
You wouldn't be selfish. Not again.
"I'm sorry," you whispered.
You turned around, and walked away.

Rest (Bakugo Katsuki x Reader)
Rating: Explicit
Word Count: 2,515
Warning: SMUT, LANGUAGE
I’m literally in love with Bakugo Katsuki. I’ve had this idea in my head for a while and I might make this a small series, I love me some domesticated shit and I hope you guys do too. This is the first smut I’ve ever written so please keep that in mind as you’re reading lmao. I hope you enjoy it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bakugo sighed deeply as he dropped his duffle bag to the ground with a soft thud. His red eyes burned with exhaustion, his body felt incredibly heavy tonight after his shift.
It wasn’t that he disliked being a top pro-hero, far from it.
In fact, if someone were to ask him if he hated or loved being a hero he would scoff at them and blast their ass.
Of course he loved his job.
Becoming a pro-hero was his dream, the ultimate goal in his life. The amount of hours, blood, sweat, and tears he had put into his training was not for nothing.
Of course he fucking loved his job.
But sometimes.
Sometimes he wouldn’t mind being able to rest.
Like now.
Now, all he wanted to do was eat and sleep.
Bakugo flipped the light on in the kitchen, taking notice of the just washed dishes in the dish rack and the scent of cleanser lingering in the air.
Y/n must’ve cleaned up before she went to work. He thought briefly before opening up the fridge to see what was available to eat.
His expression softened once he laid his eyes on the plate of food wrapped up with a note on top.
Missing you a lot today, don’t overwork yourself.-Y/n
After reheating his dinner he sat down at the table, sighing deeply once more now that he was finally off of his feet.
It had been a long couple of days. A couple of weeks of nonstop back-to-back hero work. Which meant that Bakugo was rarely home, either arriving far too late into the night, or leaving far too early in the morning. There were only small traces that he had actually been there, a coffee cup left in the sink, the bathroom being damp still from a shower.
It was weeks like this one that were incredibly taxing on Bakugo, and that was because he never got to see you.
His wife.
It also didn’t help that your work schedule at the hospital was just as busy. Almost seemingly as the exact opposite of his.
He figured you had another night shift tonight as he headed to the bedroom.
But he froze at the doorway.
The tightness in his body melted completely as he gazed at your sleeping figure.
You were curled up under the blankets, fast asleep, and completely unaware of the tall man staring at you.
Bakugo couldn’t move fast enough.
All he could think about was curling up against you tonight, holding you close, and burying his face into your hair.
He had missed you too much.
He stripped down to his underwear and moved to slide under the blankets, his expression further softening as he noticed that you were wearing one of his t-shirts.
Carefully coming up behind you, he moved to wrap one of his arms around your waist. He pulled you in close, tucking you into his chest easily.
But you were roused awake from the sudden movement.
“Katsu?” you mumbled softly, eyes still heavy with sleep but you shifted your body so that you were facing the warm solid man now next to you.
“Go back to sleep.” he grumbled, both of you settling down against one another. He peered down at you with a gentle expression.
He had never seen anything more beautiful.
“How was it today?” you hummed softly, slinging your right arm around his broad shoulder, your leg kicking up to wrap around his waist.
Bakugo wrapped his fingers around your thigh, tugging you closer. His hand was big and warm, the roughness of his palms and fingers felt perfect against your soft skin.
A touch you were desperately craving the past couple of weeks.
“Dumbass Deku got overrun with the villains we were chasing down, I had go and save his stupid ass.” he grumbled, moving his hand up to slide into your shirt, his fingers tracing patterns into your back.
“Hmm.” you sighed softly, nuzzling your nose against his collarbone, inhaling that familiar burnt caramel scent.
Both of you were quiet for a moment, enjoying each other’s company. It was clear that both of you were exhausted, but neither of you had gone to sleep just yet.
There was a hum in the air.
A familiar one.
You looked up at the man that you’ve known your entire life. His eyes were closed, but you knew that he wasn’t asleep.
Your gaze started at the top of his head. His spiky hair was more disheveled than usual, but you knew that it was incredibly soft and perfect beneath your fingers.
Moving your eyes further down you took in his perfectly arched eyebrows and long lashes, but beneath that you noticed the dark circles framing his lower lids.
Frowning softly at your husband’s apparent lack of sleep you continued your search against his face.
His nose was perfect, and just below it, those soft full lips.
Your stomach flipped pleasantly. A familiar feeling bubbling in your lower stomach.
He was fucking beautiful.
And that was just his face. You knew that his body was just as perfect, if not better.
It was as if Bakugo Katsuki was sculpted from the gods themselves.
How you were married to such a beautiful man, you didn’t know. It was then that you started to be more aware of those muscular arms that were wrapped around you. Those strong, thick fingers gripping your upper thigh tightly.
Your heart rate picked up, and you shifted slightly, attempting to get closer to him.
“Stop staring at me, shitty woman.” he grumbled, cracking one eye open to peer down at you. “It’s fucking creepy.”
Now you remember how you ended up with this beautiful man. His shit fucking personality.
I guess it’s true when they say you can’t have it all, you thought dryly. Of course your husband couldn’t be a gorgeous man without having some kind of flaw.
It was actually a wonder how you guys had been together so long.
Childhood friends turned lovers.
You had been by his side since birth it felt like.
Considering your mother and his mother were good friends, it was bound to happen that you two would be as well.
You were the complete opposite of Bakugo.
Kind. Sweet. Gentle.
You weren’t in the hero course when you had gone to U.A., rather you had gotten into the support course.
Which wasn’t a problem for you. You didn’t want to become a hero. Rather, being able to help behind the scenes and being able to support those that wanted to be on the front lines, protecting and saving people, like your husband.
“Don’t be mean Katsu, I haven’t seen your grumpy face in weeks. Can’t a wife just look at her husband?” You grumbled pinching and pulling his cheeks.
He huffed angrily, grabbing your wrist and attempting to pull your fingers away from his face. “Let go, that fucking hurts.” he growled. “Stupid woman, you think I want to come home and be pestered like this?”
You snorted, an amused expression on your face as you ignored Bakugo’s increasing insults and attempts at stopping you from pulling his cheeks, increasing the pressure of your fingers on his face.
“You little shit.” he growled. He gripped your wrist tightly and shifted one of his legs to be between your thighs and moved, heaving you onto your back. Your wrists were pinned on either side of your head, Bakugo above you.
Oh fuck.
The position you were in caused your heart rate to pick up once again. Your eyes flickered down his body, appreciating the bulging muscles and the way his boxers now hung lower on his hips.
The smirk on his face wasn’t helping the situation either.
“Like what you see?” he sneered.
You rolled your eyes and moved your leg, shifting it up so that you could press your knee carefully against his crotch.
You could feel his growing bulge. You felt the rising blush in your face and looked away from him, going to move your leg down from its current position. But Bakugo was too fast for you, he grabbed your leg and hitched it over his hip and settled himself between your legs. Pressing himself to your center.
You couldn’t help the whimper that escaped your lips.
“Why are you getting all shy now?” he teased, rolling his hips against yours.
“Sh-Shut up.” you gasped, lips parting in arousal. “You haven’t even kissed me yet Katsu.”
He chuckled slightly, and released his grip on your wrists, allowing you to slither your arms around his neck, sliding your fingers into the back of hair. He leaned closer down to your face, one his hands grabbing at your jaw, the other one propping himself up to keep most of his weight off of you.
And then he was kissing you. His lips hot and urgent against yours, his tongue already poking through your lips, eager to taste the inside of your mouth.
You moaned softly, arching your body into his as your grip in his hair tightened.
Bakugo growled against your mouth, grinding into your core harshly.
All thoughts of sleep are now gone. All Bakugo could think about was you, and how much he wanted to be inside of you. It had been far too long since the last time he'd had you, and now, he wasn’t going to wait any longer.
“Fuck, what do you want?” he growled, pulling away from you and seeing your swollen lips. Your eyes were wide and bright, full of want and need.
His stomach churned pleasantly.
Before you could answer him his fingers were already where you wanted them the most. He rubbed at your clit in harsh controlled circles, his red eyes dark and filled with need as he gazed at your moaning flushed face.
“K - ah - Katsu. Please,” you whimpered, gripping his hair tightly between your fists. Your hips moving along with his fingers.
“Please what? What do you want?” he sneered, applying more pressure before he pushed your panties to the side, his middle finger sliding against your wet slit, but not fully penetrating you.
You felt tears gathering at the corner of your eyes, it had been too long. All you wanted was him to fuck you already.
“You. I want you please.” you moaned out, bucking your hips up, urging him to enter you already. “Please Katsu, I missed you so much.”
Fuck.
He missed you too. He was tired of the foreplay already, he needed to be inside you.
Snarling loudly he all but ripped the clothes off your body before removing his boxers. His member stood tall and gorgeously thick against his stomach.
Your mouth watered at the sight, you wanted it in your mouth.
“Later.” he growled, noticing the look on your face. “I want to fuck you already.”
He spread your legs apart, gazing at you hungrily before taking his cock and rubbing it against your glistening slit, and then he rammed into you.
You cried out loudly as Bakugo set a brutal pace. Hard and fast, and incredibly deep inside your pussy.
It had been too long, your body needing time to adjust to his intrusion, your walls stretching to fit his thickness.
But he wouldn’t let you. Bakugo gave in to his desire and set a pace that had you gasping to keep up.
Fuck did it feel good though.
The familiar pressure building up within yourself, ready to snap at any minute.
Bakugo was snarling above you, lost in the pleasure of your warm, wet walls gripping him tighter and tighter. He knew you were almost at your limit, he was too.
He knew he wasn’t going to last long, it had been too long since the last time he was inside of you, but he needed you to cum first.
His grip was bruising on your hips; his mouth sucking and biting at every inch of skin that was within his reach. You knew you were going to have marks in the morning, but you didn’t care.
His cock rubbed into the deepest parts of you, leaving you breathless and shaking. He always made you feel so full.
“You gonna cum on my cock princess?” he growled, reaching down and rubbing your clit again.
Your back arched, your head thrashing against the pillows as your pleasure began to build further up. “Katsu - ngh - I’m close.” you whimpered out.
He smirked, pulling out of your pussy before slamming himself back in.
And that was it.
You came hard, crying out and trembling beneath him, your wetness gushing out and staining the sheets below.
He snarled loudly, jackhammering his hips into yours as he chased his release before groaning lowly in his throat and spilling himself inside of you.
His hips finally stilled, he leaned forward and pressed his mouth against yours softly before trailing delicate kisses against the bites he had left scattered across your throat and collar bone.
He stayed buried deep inside of you as he continued to soothe your battered body.
Bakugo knew that he was never gentle when you guys made love. He knew that his pace was always rough and harsh, but the aftercare was a different story.
After the intense fucking he always gave you, it was important for him to take care of you tenderly. He carefully pulled his softened cock out of you, hushing you softly as you whimpered from the loss.
He watched as his cum seeped out of you, smirking slightly to himself before he pressed a gentle kiss to your hip and got up to the bathroom to get a warm wet cloth to clean you and himself up.
When he came back you were already on the verge of falling asleep again. He sat near your legs, pressing a soft kiss to your knee as he cleaned up the mess he made between your legs.
You hissed softly, your lower body sore and sensitive. He hushed you once more as he finished cleaning up, tossing the cloth somewhere behind him, he’d take of that in the morning.
Starting at your hips he trailed his soft lips up your body, pressing the sweetest kisses into your skin, gazing at you with gentle eyes.
The aftercare was his favorite part.
You were so fucking beautiful like this, completely drained after all the pleasure that he had given you. Your skin littered with his marks, your lips red and swollen from his intense kisses, your hair a ruffled mess around your head after moving it back and forth so much.
He pulled the blankets over your bodies as he settled next to you, wrapping his arms around your body tightly.
He pressed a gentle kiss to the top of your head, your eyes closing automatically, sleep ready to take you under.
“I love you Katsu.” you breathed softly, pressing your face into his chest. “So much.”
“Go to sleep.” he grumbled tenderly, placing another kiss to the crown of your head. “I got you."
Ask game: Give me the first sentence and I'll write a short piece for it
Not taking anymore for the moment. Might do this prompt game again another time
---
@serenagold : Foot caught between the narrow ledge of two buildings, dangling upside down, 15 feet above the alleyway below, with the timer on a count down, Chat found himself in a bit of a pickle.
With a grunt, he curled his body upwards as he tried to reach for where his ankle had caught. It was starting to feel uncomfortably sore, but it was going to be so much worse if his transformation dropped before he could free himself.
"Come on," he groaned, claws scrabbling at the cuff of his boot. But his own body weight had firmly wedged his foot in place.
It wasn't the first time he'd been thrown over buildings when facing off against an akuma. Today though, it seemed like his bad luck was playing up even more than usual. He hadn't stuck the landing, tumbling down the roof which then resulted in him getting snagged in his current predicament.
"Chat Noir?"
And it was only getting worse.
Panic opened a pit in his stomach as his ring let out another series of beeps. "W-Wait Ladybug!"
"Chat?" he heard her call for him again from somewhere above. "Where are you? I can't see you."
"I'd prefer if it stayed that way right now," Chat answered, catching a glimpse of the last dwindling paw pad on his ring.
"Chat? Chat!" he heard her startled gasp. Ladybug was above him now, looking down in shock. "Hold on, let me help you."
"W-Wait I'm-"
She must have mistaken the urgency in his voice for him being panicked over his trapped foot as she knelt down.
"Seriously," she scoffed playfully as she grabbed his leg and tried to free him, "why couldn't you have gotten stuck in a tree like a normal cat?"
"Ladybug!"
She grunted as she finally pulled his leg free from where it had been stuck. "What?"
But any words he had to try and make her back away from him died in his throat as his ring gave its final warning call. This time Ladybug heard it too and he could see the colour drain from her face as the green light manifested around him. Black leather changed to designer denim where she held him around his ankle. As though burned by the change of material, Ladybug let out a gasping squeak and released him. Now no longer stuck or transformed, there was nothing to stop gravity taking hold of Adrien. He cried out as he felt the air rush around him and he braced for the impact of the concrete below.
But instead of his head cracking agaisnt the pavement, something collided with his side as he fell and swept him upwards in a rapid swing. For a split second he felt weightless as he was stolen from the force of gravity, jostled into someone's tight hold that forced his head to rest over their shoulder. His mind finally understood what had happened when he saw the stream of red ribbons flowing out behind his saviour.
Ladybug's hold of his was almost bonecrushing as her arm snared him tight against her until their bodies were flush against one another. Adrien clung onto her in return, his arms taking a respectful place as they wrapped around her shoulders. His heart was beating so wildly that he was certain she could feel it against her. Out of being close to her like this, or because he was a civilain with no mask to hide behind he wasn't sure.
A second later they landed in an alley. But even as their feet touched down on solid ground, neither of them made to move away from the other. They remained stuck together, both looking over each other's shoulder in a tense silence. Adrien could feel the way her chest moved against his with each nervous breath and he was certain he was the same.
His voice cracked as he tried to speak, "D...Did you-"
"No," Ladybug breathed as she cut in. "I didn't see much. Just a little of your clothes - your jeans. That's all."
Adrien tried to swallow the lump in his throat. "Okay...good."
This was fine. It wasn't like wearing jeans was an identifying factor. A lot of people wore jeans. Unless she looked closely and saw that everything he wore was of the Gabriel brand, that was a little more obvious. But she hadn't seen that much, had she?
They were still clinging to each other as they tried to catch their breath. Adrien wasn't sure what else to do. If he moved away then she would see his maskless face. Not that he was complaining though. Now that she's reassured him that she hadn't really seen him, he was enjoying himself. While hugs weren't unheard of between them, he was greedy for them. He kept himself restrained though and he toed that still uncertain line of what she was comfortable with when it came to him. She initated the hugs, never him. When it came time to let go, it was always on her terms. But with the way her hands currently rested comfortably at his back, he liked to think that she wasn't entirely upset at this temporary solution to not letting her see him.
Before they could fully calm down from the chaos they'd found themselves in, a distant crash and rumble reminded them that an akuma was still active.
"You have to go back out there," Adrien said. "I'll wait a bit and recharge."
He could feel Ladybug fidget against him as she shifted her weight from one foot to the other. "I'll close my eyes," she whispered after a moment. "And then I'll turn around. Okay?"
Adrien nodded before realising she couldn't see him. "Okay," he murmured for her.
He felt it as Ladybug took a few deep breaths. And then she stepped back.
Adrien held his own breath as he felt her arms slip away from her. His heart pounded in his ears as he came face to face with Ladybug. But as promised, her eyes were gently closed. She took slow, unsteady steps backwards until there was a firm gap between them.
A moment of impulse made Adrien want to take hold of her again, to beg her to open her eyes and look at him - to really look at him and see him. But he restrained himself, forcing that surging need back again. It still didn't stop the lump returning to his throat though as she then turned her back to him.
"All good?" Ladybug asked.
"Y-Yeah," he answered weakly.
"I'll see you back out there, Kitty."
"In a bit, Bugaboo."
He was glad now that she couldn't see the slightly bitter smile on his face. He stared at the back of her head as she hesiated. For a moment he thought - he hoped - that she too felt that wild and impulsive need to look at him. But if she did, she didn't voice it. Instead she did as promised. She took out her yo-yo and was soon quickly swinging away again, leaving Adrien alone and hidden in the alley.
Adrien watched her go. He should have felt relieved that the close call was now over, but a part of him was still a little sad.
His gaze drifted to the side as Plagg slowly floated into view. It was uncommon for the kwami to not loudly announce his hunger, but Adrien appreciated the restraint this time.
"Let's get going," Adrien said as he fished out a piece of camembert from his pocket. "Ladybug is waiting for Chat Noir."
laughing gas - mai zenin x reader
request: “Mai Zenin x Fem S/o, where the s/o gets their wisdom tooth removed and confesses their love to mai acting all sweet and cute, mai then takes care of her s/o and confesses too, we can see mai being her bratty and confident self but when she is with her s/o she just lets her walls down” - @shockfirefly
summary: in the request! (genre: fluff, friends to lovers, slice of life, humor)
warnings: reader is high on anesthesia if that counts as a warning, swearing, mostly just tooth rotting fluff (literally!!)
word count: 2k
a/n: i really enjoyed writing this request! at this point i’m basically just a mai zenin stan account tbh but the requests for her are just so fun to write. i’m almost on summer break so hopefully i’ll be more active bc i have a few ideas i’m excited to write for!!
it seriously took everything in mai’s willpower to not immediately whip out her phone to film your groggy state the moment she stepped into the room where you had just gotten your surgery done. she stifled a laugh at the bandage wrapped around your head, vaguely reminiscent of the one noritoshi had worn following the exchange event. when your eyes flicker over to meet her gaze, you give what she can only assume is your attempt at a smile, but looks more like a dog caught eating its owner’s dinner, with your face all swollen and slightly flushed.
forget that willpower shit.
she shamelessly calls out your name, to which you respond like an eager little kid. “say cheese!” she gives you an uncharacteristically wide grin to signal you to mirror her actions. you seemed to not learn from your previous mistake and attempted to smile back at her, before immediately cutting yourself off with a muffled groan. she hardly bothered with hiding her giggle this time, but at the very least she had the decency to cover her mouth as she cracked up.
with an annoyed pout on your face, you huffed and turned to the nurse standing beside you, who you were apparently to loopy to notice had joined in with mai on giggling at your grogginess. “she’s so mean to me!” you said, though your tone had no real irritation to it.
“it’s just to send to utahime. she wants to make sure your doing alright.” mai lied straight through her teeth, though you seem satisfied enough with that answer as you started to push yourself up from the seat you’d been in. mai quickly rushed to your side, knowing you weren’t sensible enough at the moment to ask for her help. before you could stand up and inevitably wobble over, she looped an arm around your waist and moved your arm so it was slung over her shoulders.
“alright champ, let’s get going.” she tried to remain as nonchalant as possible with the close proximity, but unfortunately for her, you seemed determined to embarrass her as much as possible.
“well at least buy me dinner first, ya casanova!” you said (much louder than necessary, mind you). honestly, it wouldn’t be surprising to mai if you could be heard from the waiting room.
with an over enthusiastic wave from you and an awkward thanks from mai to the nurse, you guys set off on your way.
to be fair to you, it was surprisingly a relatively tame trip to the door, with you focusing on keeping your steps in tune with mai’s. you were too lost in thought to embarrass yourself until you had made it to the waiting room. you had rather innocently pointed out a small curse, which would have been completely harmless had it not actually been an old woman, and had you not spoken with an inappropriately loud voice. the poor old lady who had fallen subject to your anesthesia induced self gave you an agitated glare as mai waved sheepishly in apology. the moment you guys were out the door, you turned back to glance through the glass.
“we’ll get her later, mai!” you patted her on the back with determination, your voice still muffled in a way that made you sound like you belonged on sesame street. “she can’t fool me, stupid curse!”
had it been anyone else, mai would have simply rolled her eyes and tugged you on, but since it was you, she found herself laughing along, a quiet laugh, like the sound of a wind chime in early spring weather. the sound seemed to catch you off guard, causing you to stop in your antics before turning to face her. she paused when she felt your gaze back on her, looking at her like a kid would look at fireworks for the first time.
she raised an eyebrow at your sudden change in demeanor. “what?”
“your laugh is pretty.” you stated simply, clearly having some pride at being the one to get her to laugh like that.
she turned away for a moment, hoping it would stop you from seeing the flush spreading across her face, knowing you’d never let her live it down. “thanks.” she muttered, praying she sounded at least a little bit cool and composed.
the short walk to the car was filled with you pointing out random cars asking if they were mai’s as you rested your head on her shoulder, before deciding the swelling was too painful for that.
a large grin which quickly turned into a grimace (you really never learned) appeared on your face when mai finally informed you that you’d made it to the right car. she held your hand to support you as you stepped into the seat, and once she’d sat down, reached over to buckle you in. she chose to ignore the over exaggerated wink you sent her way in favor of her own sanity.
as she drove, you babbled on about nonsense like how you were sure noritoshi had made mechamaru to hide the fact that he was secretly a robot, or how after that run you had gotten at the baseball game, you were sure you were destined to quit sorcery to go to the major leagues. to humor you, mai nodded along, before dryly responding that she’d probably be a better fit considering how good she looked in the baseball uniforms.
ignorant of her joking tone, you were quick to agree enthusiastically. “definitely! but i dunno if i’m the best person to ask, because i think you look good in just about anything.” your voice was sincere as you turned fully to look at her with slightly hazy eyes.
before either of you had time to process the admiration you had shown towards her, you glanced back out the window to the familiar sight of your school. you excitedly waved at the sight of todo and noritoshi sparring together. after catching his attention, todo didn’t even bother to stop the roaring laughter that came from your appearance, pointing out to noritoshi the similarities between your current look and his from just a few weeks ago. noritoshi gave todo an annoyed look, before glancing back over to see mai helping you out of the car, once again slinging your arm over her shoulders and supporting you with an arm on your waist.
she tried her best to ignore todo, she really did. though, it wasn’t exactly easy to ignore him when he loudly exclaimed what a ‘lady killer’ mai was. she snapped her gaze to meet his eyes, giving him a cold glare, before continuing to slink you along to your dorm.
when you opened the door to your dorm, the first thing mai noticed was a bulletin board on your wall, decorated with photos of all your friends, which most recently included your classmates. her eyes flicked to a photo of you next to another girl in elementary school with a smile that showed off your gap from missing teeth, and she chuckled softly at the irony of the photo compared to your current situation. her gaze then quickly shifted to a newly added strip of pictures from a photo booth. she smiled fondly at the memory of you, her, miwa, and momo sandwiching yourselves together in the tiny booth to take photos during your shopping trip. they weren’t ‘good’ photos, per say, in fact you guys all looked rather ridiculous trying to pack into frame, but for some reason, mai seemed to soften up at the memory of it, and how happy you looked just to be next to her.
her train of thought was interrupted by you tugging on the hand that didn’t rest on you, making her turn to see you mere inches from her face.
why the hell were you so close???
“yes?” she questioned, hoping to deflect from the fact that she was so obviously gushing over the photos on your wall just moments before.
“will you sleep with me?”
had you not had an arm around her, she probably would have dropped you in that instant. from the way she carried herself to the way she talked to others, most people would assume mai zenin does NOT blush, yet somehow you’d managed to disprove that theory way too many times today.
“WHAT?” it was her turn to be loud for a moment.
“i’m tireddddd” you whined “and you’re so warm.” you had stated it so casually, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
she groaned, as if it would cover up her sheer embarrassment at how bold you were. wordlessly, she walked you to your bed, keeping her grip on your waist secure. it was amazing how gentle she was as she laid you down on that rock solid bed all the dorms were stuck with. she pulled a blanket over you, sitting awkwardly on the edge of the bed in hopes you’d doze off peacefully from there. when she didn’t shift from her position, you looked at her with a confused expression.
“wouldn’t it be more comfortable to lay down?” your words were still slightly slurred together. you rested a hand on hers. “you know i don’t mind.” despite your dazed look, she could tell your words were sincere as your thumb rubbed circles atop her hand.
mai turned to face you full on, her eyes gentle rather than their usual harsh look.
curse you for being so hard to resist.
“fine” her voice was quiet “but only because it’s my job to watch over you.” she stretched out her legs so she was laying down on the bed, pulling the blanket towards her so she could get comfortable.
“you’re so good to me mai.” you smiled. not a pained grimace, or an awkward baring of your teeth, but a smile. “people always seem to be so intimidated by you, but i don’t really get it. you’ve always been so nice to me. it’s nice.”
she didn’t understand how even when you were all loopy, you still managed to have such an effect on her. hesitantly, she reached up to grab your hand, intertwining her fingers with yours.
it seemed the boldness from your anesthesia had rubbed off on her.
before she had time to talk, you continued. “i always feel so glad when we get paired up for missions, you make me feel so safe. like, i know when i’m around you that you’ll protect me. i admire you so much for doing all that for me.”
she went slightly stiff at your...confession? declaration? what exactly would you call that? you had said it so nonchalantly, whether it was out of trying to play off your fear of rejection or legitimate confidence, it was hard to tell.
“plus you’re really pretty.” your hand squeezed hers as you looked suddenly very interested in the pattern of your blanket. it was odd, seeing you get so shy all of a sudden, though she supposed it was somewhat of a win for her.
as you stared sheepishly away from her eyes that traced over every inch of your face, you felt her hand come up to your cheek, tilting you to face her. she continued scanning your face with an impossibly soft expression, before meeting your eyes once again.
“you know i wouldn’t do all that if it was anyone else.” her voice was barely above a whisper as her eyes bore into yours. her face was so close to yours that you could feel her breath fanning lightly across your face. “it’s all for you.” you’d never seen her so earnest before.
you smiled softly at her, even despite the ridiculous bandages around your head, and your chipmunk like cheeks, she still stared at you with so much love.
“you like meeee.” your tone was teasing, but it was obvious to anyone with a pair of eyes that you were just as whipped as her.
“dammit. you figured me out.” she said sarcastically, shuffling forward slightly so you were flush against her.
up close, the tiredness in your glassy eyes was obvious. she sighed to herself, and slowly leaned in to plant a soft kiss on your forehead.
“get some sleep.” she smiled at your eyes struggling to fight open your heavy eyelids. “we have a lot to talk about once the anesthesia wears off.”
maybe todo wasn’t so far off with that ‘lady killer’ comment.
