I realize that I am preaching to the choir here, given that I actually have NOT seen any of this going around on Tumblr. But just in case it's here and I've just missed it:

DO NOT MAKE FUCKING CAT-EATING MEMES. I KNOW YOU THINK YOU'RE MAKING FUN OF TRUMP, BUT YOU'RE NOT.

The thing is, 90% of the memes and jokes I've seen about this don't specify in any way whatsoever that they are making fun of Trump/Vance/people who believe that it's happening. They're just "haha eating cats funny" - which, guess who else would make that exact same joke? People who believe that immigrants are eating cats and are making fun of the immigrants for it!

Almost all of the memes I've seen shared by people on the left, I have to wonder if they were originally made by people on the right. I hear people talk about wearing "cat-eating shirts" to the polls since they can't wear Harris/Walz shirts, and I'm like... won't the other side do that too? Do you not see how the exact same thing is funny to them, but for completely opposite reasons? Vance even outright said he wants to see more memes, whether or not it's true.

And if you share these memes, they will assume you agree with them. Have you ever wondered how MAGAs could possibly believe that over half the country agrees with them? Well, when it looks for all the world like everyone else is also laughing at those stupid immigrants who steal people's pets, it's not hard for them to assume that those people laughing at immigrants are on their side.

This isn't the first time this has happened, either. Right after Epstein's suicide, some guy was being interviewed on the news about something unrelated and right at the end threw in something like "Epstein didn't kill himself" or something, and people on the left thought it was hilarious and amazing and shared it all over the place.

Except. That guy? He thought CLINTON killed Epstein, not Trump. THAT was his point, THAT was the joke he was making. But the left caused his video to rack up the views and shares, so now he thinks everyone else also thinks Clinton did it. And the same for all the other Epstein jokes that didn't specify who you thought actually had him killed. I definitely saw ones that got used by both sides unironically.

Please think a little bit when it comes to political humor. Could someone on the opposite end of the spectrum from you look at the joke or meme you're posting and think that it's aimed at them? Like, no matter how obvious you think it is who the real target is intended to be, could someone possibly misconstrue the target to be someone on your side?

Yeah, well... that's the point of a bunch of internet activists: they throw the stone and hide the hand, screeching that, if you're doubting their innocence, you're an imperialist racist who should never be allowed on the internet.

Stitch, the person they're picking up a lot of their schlock from, is a master in this: they attack people, and the moment those who got attacked ask what they've done that's wrong or ask to have a one-on-one conversation with them, they shut everything down, screenshot whatever they received, block the person, and then go on Twitter whining about being a victim of racism because their words weren't listened to like the Gospel. Over and over again.

After the TOG racefaker scandal broke, I went through her blog and, just as I had expected, she too followed the same modus operandi: attack, screenshot, block, cry about being a victim of racism because people didn't let her insult them and demanded explanations about her ranting, wannabe-academic, posts.

They're not the only ones who do/did this, but these are the two examples of constant "harassment is good if I do it, but I'm the only victim and the others deserved it" cycle that come to my mind as of now.

When you're looking at End OTW Racism, you have to expect the same thing. They don't have answers, they don't want to have answers. This whole movement (horribly organized, horribly promoted, horribly everything) is nothing but a huge stroke of ego for its organizers.

You know how antis accuse others of being racist or pedophiles or whatever else because, that way, the accused cannot defend themselves? This is the same thing: if the OTW doesn't address their manifesto, then they're racist because they refuse to acknowledge it; if the OTW does address their manifesto, then they're admitting that they didn't care about racism until the moment they were called out on it and their concern regarding racism within the OTW is manufactured.

It's a win-win situation for them because, no matter how much you try, if you don't fully and absolutely agree with them, you can be branded as racist.

If you scroll through the End OTW Racism tag on Twitter, you'll see plenty of people (and especially the organizers), tweet stuff in the same vein as "I went to olderthannet's Tumblr and oof," not so subtly accusing all the people who raised valid concerns and asked valid questions of being racist.

I'm also not the first person who mentions this, but Stitch does seem to be heavily involved with the project, and even if they weren't, their words have been used to build the manifesto, and they amplified this crap through one of their Teen Vogue articles.

Now... not only Stitch is known for acting in bad faith, attacking creators of colors, branding them as Uncle Toms, purposefully making fun of them if they don't agree with them and sending their followers to attack and harass, but, just in April, they were being dragged because of another article they wrote, in which they compared writing fics about bad fictional characters to worshiping serial killers. Weeks before that, they were being dragged because their fanbase of antis discovered that their fics included incest, something that goes greatly against their preachings.

How big of a coincidence is it, that Stitch needed to have their image cleaned of all sins and suddenly a group of people drops a manifesto and hashtag about racism in fandom, founding a movement Stitch fully and absolutely agrees with and can rave about for days on end? A movement that offers very vague answers and plans, and those creators attack anyone who doesn't immediately agree with them, to the point that no questions can be ever asked about it?

Unless I'm shown actual evidence that Stitch isn't involved with this, nothing will convince me that End OTW Racism was launched for any reason that isn't to rehabilitate Stitch in the eyes of their chronically online audience.

zero escape preach sparked by the other ask and me wanting to interact with one of my favorite aa ranters/artists out there. what a perfect opportunity. anyways most fans would agree the writing gets weaker with each entry (some people think it peaked at the second game but imo the first is the strongest as a whole) but it is INSANE. it will mess with your head with all the bullshit it throws at you. the characters infodump entire wikipedia pages to each other. sudoku has never been more emotional. there is a Weird Girl that Does Things. the music is incredible. i doubt the characters were intended to be super deep but there was so much room for me to overthink some of them and rotate them in my mind for days. oh yeah you can rotate items in your inventory post-ds-release-aa-style it's very fun. the puzzles are as well although they get increasingly more infuriating. funyarinpa. uhh some fictional religion mixed in that you might have fun comparing to irl?? i don't know enough about any to make a valid statement on that tbh. did i mention the weird girl

You're preaching to the choir there with regard to cowardice, I've been on tumblr since 2015 ish IIRC and I only worked up enough courage to start posting smut on anon early last year, and only made an actual alt account for it december of last year. I lurked on dozens of accounts for years and never followed or liked anything because I was terrified of getting outed. I was honestly kinda spooked about the idea of revealing my account on Elaz's blog, but I really appreciated the kind words, that genuinely made my day.

Unwilling isn't my preference, but I get why others enjoy it, and can enjoy it myself most of the time. From a narrative perspective it's easy to write but as you can probably tell, willing is my jam. I'm like an 20/80 pred/prey split but I tend hard towards willing in both cases. I agree it is super underrated, it doesn't get the love it deserves.

I agree with the general sentiment, although I’d like to clarify that the line you're mentioning was not at all added by the Crystal screewriter but taken straight from the manga source, and in both cases Michiru doesn't actually state that Haruka is neither woman nor man, but rather that she possesses the peculiar strenghts and characteristics of both sexes, which is something else entirely - yes, it's still a concept deriving from an underlying sexist worldview, but it does not say that Haruka's sex is anything but female in the slightest. Not that it could be any other way, since otherwise she wouldn't be able to transform into a Sailor Warrior to begin with, lol! Can't believe I'm making another post about Adf*y in 2021 but here we go...

I'm sure you all know the new adf*y page which (i'm pretty sure) adf*y skipper can't skip anymore, the one where it asks to send notifications and won't let you proceed until you let them send notifications.

I accidentally just allowed one of these notifications (not at home and using a janky mouse on a pillow, keeps going crazy), so I immediately headed to my chrome settings to get rid of it.

I'm going through blocking everything before I delete it (just so I feel better about it truly being gone lol) and I see this:

I'm thinking, what the hell is a payment handler and why is it set to allow?? That super doesn't sound good... And after some googling I find yeah, it's probably not great.

So, what's a payment handler? Basically, it's when google saves your payment details to autofill later on when you're making an online purchase. So that includes your credit card, debit card, paypal, ect, details. (Source - askcybersecurity.com) Now these are usually fine on legitimate sites but this site specifically:

You just google 'christianivory.pro' and every result is how to get rid of it because it's malware. (That picture was after I cleared the cookies it had already stored, no idea what they were)

(btw, I wouldn't recommend clicking on any of these since malware/viruses are often hidden behind fake anti-malware ads/programs)

Luckily I don't keep any of my payment details saved so I'm pretty sure I'm fine after deleting it and MalwareBytes or Windows Defender hasn't detected anything. I can't say for sure what it would have done if I hadn't of deleted it, it seems to mostly be notification spam but the fact that it was trying to access my payment methods doesn't sound all that great. Even if having the payment methods allowed doesn't do shit, I've had money stolen from me through an adf*y virus before (source - my tumblr)

Like I said, I'm pretty sure I got lucky because I don't save those things but I'm going to offer a hypothetical situation which could be extremely likely in our community specifically;

Lets say I'm a 14 year old simmer who uses their parents computer to play the sims. I've recently discovered custom content and my favourite creator uses adf*y, but since I'm young and new to the community I have no idea that adf*y can be bad and I trust this creator so they would never link me to anything that could harm my computer... right? So I accept that adf*y notification and don't think anything of it, I get the CC I really like and I'm happy. But that notification I just accepted has saved my parents credit card details. I'm sure you can guess where the rest of this situation goes.

So this is me, creator to creator, telling you need to stop. I know finding a source of income can be awful right now, but your source of income could be coming at the expense of someone else who did not agree to this.

If you think your content is worth a price then I urge you to start a Patreon, Ko-Fi or even a paypal because these are platforms that are safe for both parties and are OPTIONAL. Adf*y is not optional for the downloader.

Stop putting the younger and more susceptible people in our community at risk. As creators it is likely that we gain a larger following so stop taking advantage of that. Especially if you're older or are someone who preaches the safety of our younger members in this space, step up and actually practice what you fucking preach instead of just saying it for likes and reblogs.

i think having media talk about subjects like abuse, rape, and other stuff like that isn't bad. it's good to spread awareness about this stuff, and it does in fact need to be talked about because of how common it is. however, it should not be romanticized. we should not have movies of where a pedophile gets a teenage girl to love him and they live "happily ever after". we should not encourage stories that involve graphic descriptions of children being forcibly raped/assaulted for erotic purposes.

this is what proshippers defend. they do not preach "don't harass anyone over ships", that's just what they tell people. they romanticize media containing abuse, pedophillia, rape and other stuff of that nature. and it is almost always in erotica material when it's being romanticized.

i agree, we should not send death threats to children proshippers as they're most likely the vitcims of grooming. whether proshippers want to admit it or not, there are a lot of children in the community and it does have a grooming problem. go on any platform(tiktok, twitter, tumblr, ect) and find children proshippers, they will most likely have a post with an abusive relationship where they use to describe their partners.

i have seen dozens of posts where children proshippers make edits out of pedophiles because "it reminds them of their partners" and that is fucking terrifying. i have seen dozens of adult proshippers encourage children to go talk to older people they have a crush on, most of these kids being between the ages of 13-16 and these crushes being 17-22+.

this is incredibly dangerous for obvious reasons.

i also want to talk about the "fiction doesn't affect reality" talking point they use, and how that is not true at all.

fiction will always have some form of reality in its core. whether that be politics, the characters personalities, or its theme - fiction will always contain a bit of reality.

humans use fiction to cope, and when you actively consume media that displays abuse/pedophilia in erotic ways, you subconsciously start to train your brain that this material is good. you can still say pedophilia, and be attracted to erotic material containing pedophilia. that's what happens when you associate this stuff with positive reinforcement(example; defending it, reading it daily, ect).

and even if this didn't happen it is still very fucking weird to jack off to drawings of 4 year olds getting raped.

another thing is how proshippers say that they're not doing anything wrong, however they speak in secret code when trying to find one another. if you're not doing anything wrong, surely you don't have to hide it right? "oh but the antis harass us!!" and why do they harass you?

if you make material that romanticizes abuse/pedophilia, share it with your family. tell them you find these subjects entertaining and you actively enjoy them. i'm sure your family will accept you and have no problem with what you do, after all it is a harmless coping mechanism right? i'm sure if you sit down and explain to them that you're in a community with one of the biggest grooming problems on the internet that romanticizes abuse/pedophilia/rape, they'll be more than happy to accept you.

however, i know proshippers won't ever stop, no matter how hard i try to explain why it's morally wrong. i know your ways will not change and you won't develop healthier coping mechanisms, and you will continue being a complete weirdo that no one likes and who should live society.

however, that does not give you the right to spread your material where children are. you shouldn't spread it or make it at all for obvious reasons, but especially keep it away from kids. i agree, responsibility is on the parents, but it's also on adults on the internet. yes, children should not be online, and yes adults need to monitor them more; however children are on online unsupervised so it's our responsibility as responsible internet users to try and keep them safe.

if you're going to post your proshipper stuff, can you please for the love of god do it where kids have a lesser chance of seeing it. do it on twitter, or AO3 where they allow that stuff and put warnings on it. private your account, put warnings everywhere that you do this stuff. i understand it won't stop all kids from seeing it but it does lessen the numbers of kids who will see it.

and if you're a proshipper in a fandom that is filled with kids or is made for kids(example; mlp, invader zim, ect) then don't post your stuff on a public account. make it private.

that way kids can stay safe and you can choose who can enter your abuse loving safespace.

and speaking of kids, don't work with kids if you actively enjoy and constantly consume material that romanticizes abuse/pedophilia. and if you do, show your boss. i'm sure they'll have no issues with someone who gets off to stories of kids getting raped working with kids. i'm sure you won't be fired or investigated.

War is in full motion as you stealthily walk on the elevated surface, scanning, scrutinizing the maze-like battlefield where your teammates are silently advancing in formation.

The long barrel of the sniper rifle clinks lightly as you rest it upon the metal railing, angling your body to take a clean shot of your current main target.

With a deep breath, you close one eye and put the other close to the makeshift scope of the weapon, the red laser pointer shoots out and sets itself on the back of your enemy, time stills, and with a swift push of the trigger, the shot is fired.

Your rifle vibrates under your touch as a scream resonates through the silent arena.

“Fuck! Not again! Who was it this time!? Come out, you coward!”

“Ah! Suck it Park! I’m owning your ass so bad it makes me think you’re liking it!”, your mocking is victorious, as you high-five your second in command, grinning like a maniac at the man on the other side of the large dark room.

“Laser tag is brutal ‘Min, you either die or get killed”, Jin solemnly preaches, and you seriously nod beside him.

“You either- that doesn’t even make sense- Kook why do you always let them team up together!? They’re so dumb, and they always annihilate us so bad is embarrassing!”, Jimin whines loudly as he shame-walks towards the neon green sign of the exit.

“I don’t let them. She just tells me and expects I agree, and I’m okay with it because you know how I love getting bossed around by her. Especially in bed.”

“Stop being horny Jungkook. We’re at war, there’s no time for love or sex.”

“You sure baby?”, he says with such a smug grin that makes you want to shoot him in the head and stab a victory flag into his body.

You throw a competitive look his way, and he smirks innocently, mischief hiding under the surface.

The battle is still raging as the countdown nears zero dangerously fast.

With two members on both teams left and too many places to hide, you are getting antsy, impatient, and extremely worried that Yoongi will let himself get murdered just to speed up the process of going out to eat.

One thing I've been thinking...

These are just my random thoughts, so feel free to disagree.

Lately I've seen a lot of posts in the fandom in increasing extent that's kinda sad imo. (I've been in this fandom for a short while, but in a lot bigger fandom for years, and in my experience, the negativity is always the same, the package just is different.)

People get really worked up by the Billy/Dacre antis on all platforms, and then they vent about it here, and make sometimes compelling and sometimes less compelling arguments in defence of both.

It's fine, ppl need to vent and hey, everyone is allowed to do what they want on their blog and if someone can't take it, unfollow, block, filter content, blah blah blah. Simple as that.

But I just always think how much those people allow the antis actually take their own headspace and then spew the negative energy from the antis directly to the positive fandom here on Tumblr.

I assume most of the negativity comes from Twatter and dickdock (I hate both and haven't used the first in years and the other one but once and logged off immediately – I know they're both very volatile spaces). I know antis are here too, but I assume it's way smaller issue here than in those two. (Quick check on the anti billy hargrove tag tells me that most of those here are teens and young adults who are yet to grow up, so not worth even a thought)

I come on Tumblr to get away from real world. To forget all the negativity of other ppl and just in general get away from everything that's happening in real world. I try to follow blogs that post positive stuff and engage only with content that's positive or compelling in any way.

So when I see those posts, sometimes even with screenshots from the anti's, it always makes me feel sad – but not for me.

It's always for the op as in hey, you're here where the Billy/Dacre fandom is absolutely bonkers in a GOOD way, cherishing and loving a character that never got any of that in the show itself, and loving the actor who plays the character unabashedly. And you're as the op here because of that too.

So I just wonder why do you take all that negativity be it from here or from somewhere else or here and bring it into our positive space and stain it with it? And in addition other ppl then engage with it – even if it's to just agree with the op. That's like preaching to the choir – why do it?

This is a place where you could happily enjoy the character without that much of a fear of getting bs of it. Or at least that's my experience. I haven't gotten any bs as long as I've been here. But of course this blog is very small.

So correct me if I'm wrong.

Now, I do run one big sideblog with 10k followers in a big fandom and my main has 1,5k followers too. So I know hate and how it feels when you're getting it in any form, in reblogs or anonymously on asks. It's SHIT.

But what I've learned from those two is, that as long as the hate and the antis are being addressed, neither will go away. There will always be antis and idiots who send anonymous hate.

It's called the internet.

And not to forget: social media platforms in general have been proven to boost negative content, because it keeps users on the platforms longer, meaning more income to the platforms. I repeat:

Never forget that negativity is partly designed into social media platforms.

What can be done to all of this is to choose not to engage with the negativity, and just let it be. Even if the negative views get you totally worked up and feel like you need to educate whoever.

Trust me, they won't learn anything, and you'll just spend hours on trying to do that.

And pls pls delete your accounts on any platforms that give you only shitty feels. You're not going to miss ANYTHING.

Not spending any time on the antis gives you more headspace and time to spend positively on our favourite rat boy. It makes your experience so much more better, and also the overall atmosphere of the fandom more positive for everyone everywhere.

My Thoughts 1: N95 and the Climate

Kendrick Lamar's "N95" was a perfect artistic rendition on my thoughts of the current socio-political climate and here's why.

Kendrick Lamar released his fifth studio album on the 13th of May this year. Apart from being a big fan of his work, I've always appreciated his lyricism even though I wouldn't consider myself a "rap connoisseur" per se.

I could write an entire post about the album as a whole. People certainly have opinions on Kendrick's writing of "Auntie Diaries" that I feel are willfully ignorant - especially from a journalistic point of view. But I digress. The album itself is clearly the representation of the thoughts of someone who has gone through therapy and done the work - which is much more than many people who go to therapy can say.

My Thoughts

"N95" is the title track of the album without a doubt. It's the only one (at the time of my writing this) with a music video, it's the most impactful, etc. It's no surprise it's the song that stood out to me the most (other than "We Cry Together") in the entire album.

Obviously, like in every art form, there are many interpretations to be taken from "N95." To me, it held a hope that people will understand what I've been thinking of and living through the past two years.

I'm not the only one, I'm sure, to feel like the current socio-political climate of the world is unsustainable. Everything and everyone around us, in social media, in movies, in TV shows, in music, has been perpetuating the same idea: I'm part of this group and if you aren't drinking our "Kool-Aid," then you must be a rival.

Personal

For the past few years, I've been trying to challenge my own perception of the world. How should I act? What should I say? How can I adjust my behavior and speech in order to fit in with the most desirable group? Do I even fit in there? These questions plagued me for many more years than I can remember.

I've always tried to fit in with a certain group, trying to find my tribe. However, it wasn't uncommon for me to jump between "bubbles" even when I was trying to box myself in so much. It was only in recent years that I have come to appreciate and accept the "gray" I live in.

In many of the lyrics of "N95" I can see the plea for understanding. Something that a lot of people, although they may preach it, won't practice. How is it understanding to cut people out of your life if they don't agree with a political stance of yours?

I'm sure Tumblr is probably not the best platform for me to be saying these things. People may read this and immediately label me an "enemy" because the words I say may have been spoken by one of their "enemies." It doesn't matter.

To be blunt, I'm not writing this from a left-leaning or right-leaning perspective. That kind of stuff doesn't appeal to me. I'm writing this as a person who has skated on the outskirts of labels my entire life - someone who has never felt they fit in anywhere completely.

Some of the lyrics that called out to me the most:

"Ventin' in the safe house"

I'm no stranger to this. I'm doing it right now. Although my name is on the screen, there is no other indication of who I am as a person other than what I tell the Internet. That's a double-edged sword, isn't it? You may do anything for the aesthetic, but how different is it when you're out there in the real world?

"Where the hypocrites at? What community feel They the only ones relevant?"

I've been there too. I went from the left to what I would call "right-curious" and this is what I saw most commonly-replicated in every bubble I saw. To me, this isn't about one community in specific. It's every one of them that thinks they're the ones with the worst, most dire situation.

Be it the trad-wives who believe their children will be corrupted by a sex-positive society (which, lol, the United States? k) or the trans community criticizing Dave Chapelle's Netflix special and his past jokes.

I'm not saying they're not relevant concerns - all of them. But it is hypocritical of a group to look down on another group's suffering and expect others to not do the same to your group. Your expectations come from your values, and if you don't uphold your values to everyone, not only the people you like, then how strong is your moral code, really?

"What's your life like? Bullshit and gossip."

I am also a big appreciator of bullshit and gossip. I love watching reality TV as much as the other guy. But when we act like the characters on those shows do, then it starts getting a little complicated, doesn't it?

It's unhealthy and unrealistic to expect people from outside of your knowledge to act like they:

a) Know everything you know; b) Agree with everything you agree; c) Act like you would act.

Conclusion

There is so much about this album and Kendrick that I love. Like I said, I could write so many posts about therapy, relationships, the state of the world, toxicity, understanding, etc. But as I've told people I recommended this album to, if there's one song you have to listen to, it's "N95."

Can I rant about something? I hate how this fandom acts like you can't say anything bad about Clem or else you're a "toxic fan". Or how if a character is mean to her then their suddenly bad. It's annoying.

[I’m putting these two asks together because my answer is pretty much the same for both]

Trust me, I completely get how frustrating it is to still see stuff like this because you’d think that we’d be tired of arguing by now. 

I won’t lie, it bothers me when people put Clementine up on this pedestal, ignore any and everything bad thing she’s ever done, and then attack any person or character that so much as looks at her wrong. It’s an insult to the complexity of her character and you’re just making a fool of yourself by behaving like a tantrum-throwing toddler. 

I’ve given a whole rant of my own on this subject, but to reiterate: 

Clementine is not a perfect character. She has done shitty things. Things that we as the player had no say in. 

My favorite example is from ANF where she shoots the guy who traded her bad bullets then asked Javi to lie for her. Did she mean to shoot that asshole? No, but she knows better than to point a loaded gun- I don’t care if she didn’t think the bullets would shoot or not- at someone without the intention of hurting or killing them. 

Lee taught her that, remember? 

But y’know what? Y’know why Clementine is such a great character? 

Because she’s not perfect. 

Clementine risks her life to protect AJ and everyone at Ericson, she’s strong, brave, and incredibly smart, and she has a real charming sweetness to her in the quieter moments. But, she doesn’t always do the right thing, she makes mistakes which she learns from, she’s killed numerous people without much thought, and she can be an asshole. 

We love her because we’ve been with her through four seasons. We’ve watched her grow and we helped shape her to be the best she can be. We’ve discussed her character and gushed about why we love her so much. A lot of us are incredibly protective of her, and that’s were this dumbass “If you are mean to Clem, you have to die” mentality comes from in certain people. 

Mitch threatens her with a knife after being traumatized by witnessing Marlon’s? God, hope he dies, that asshole. 

Ruby and Omar vote for Clementine and AJ to leave because they’re confused and upset and scared? What a bunch of shitbirds. 

Louis wants Clementine and AJ to leave after the literal murder of his best friend? Oh yeah, fuck that guy for having an emotional reaction to his best friend’s death. 

Violet’s pissed off at Clementine after being taken by the delta which results in two days worth of mental torture and betrayal? What a bitch, hope she stays and blows up with the rest of them. 

I could list more, but you get what I’m saying.

Anyway, if you try and defend Mitch, Louis, Violet, or anyone else who gets upset with Clem when it comes to these types of people?

Yikes. 

Which, okay, look... I get it. 

We all have our favorite characters and I’m not necessarily talking exclusively about Clementine. I’m talking about Louis, Violet, Kenny, Luke, and every other favorite within these games. We have our favorite character that we gush about and praise and plop down on the perfect pedestal. 

So when we see someone else say something negative about that character? Maybe it’s not even anything mean or with ill-intention behind it, but more of a critique of the character. Regardless, some people take a personal offense to that. 

And when someone does say something horrible about our favorite character? Or when a character in-game threatens this favorite character? 

Some people get nasty. 

Listen... you are allowed to like a character and still acknowledge their flaws. You don’t have come fight with people and justify the terrible things a character does. You don’t have to like or agree with everything you’re favorite character does. 

I love Louis to death but I’m not gonna sit here and preach that he’s perfect and never done anything wrong in his life because that is false. Louis is at that school because he caused his parent's divorce and I have no justification for that. That was a shitty thing of him to do and I’m glad that he realized that. 

I’m not gonna make an excuse for it, just like how I won’t make any excused for Clementine killing that asshole when she should’ve known better, or for everything she did at the ranch to get AJ back, or for any of the other bad shit she’s done. 

Because that’s what makes their characters complex, interesting, and lovable.

Anons, all I can say is if you come across someone, whether it be on Tumblr or anywhere else, that is just nasty and always looking for a fight and that’s ALL their account is, just block them. Seriously, make use of your block button. I have. 

I’m here to discuss and chat and answer asks with long rambles no one asked for, not fight with others. If I see an anti-louis blog, or an anti-violet blog, or a whatever-anti blog that makes me feel gross when scrolling past their posts in the tags or whatever, I eventually get sick of them and hit block. I don’t need to see that shit. 

I would love for this fandom to be kind and eager to discuss these characters, but unfortunately, there’s always a handful who gotta be jerks. The best we can do is stick together in our own little community.
