Larval Flounder are born with one eye on each side of their head, but as they grow from the larval to juvenile stage through metamorphosis, one eye migrates to the other side of the body. As a result, both eyes are then on the side which faces up. The side to which the eyes migrate is dependent on the species type. As an adult, a flounder changes its habits and camouflages itself by lying on the bottom of the ocean floor as protection against predators.

10: new character, this is andre's cousin and roommate, kain. he is a 27 year old african civet and also a bartender. him and andre's jobs are both making drinks for people. all the other info about him is scribbled onto the page LOL

4. the fandom can be so ass it’s between people who are weirdos, have no social life or manners and actual decent people I can laugh and talk with, overall the fandom has its blind spots like allot of em, but I’ll say I’ve found good people here and there who i love and adore, they know who they are 💕

5. The authors can’t write women, at all, they channeled everything into brunhilde and that’s it. And the fights are starting to fall off ESPECIALLY round 9 and 10, they’ve become short and it’s draining the color of the manga. If they want to do more background and get the fights done with, why not do the same thing they did with round 5? Add in a chapter where there’s behind the scenes action then add in the fight as well, don’t drain out the fight just like that? Overall hoping round 11 is better cause 9-10 where ass.

6. for the new spin off, I personally hate it, the designs are ass, seeing the egyptain queens dressed in overglorified lingerie made me irritated especially when allot of people who don’t know the difference between Ka and Ba call it accurate. it’s clearly the same bullshit they gave the Indian goddesses in the main manga! over sexualized and flat out plain, also personality wise just that! Plain! I think the authors should focus on the main manga instead of a cheap, dry, gets confusing the longer they stretch them out for, cash grab spin offs, cause ever since round 9 and 10 the fights have been falling off.

Behind the name: "The Apis Bull is a deity from the Memphis region of ancient Egypt, who manifests as an actual bull that the people would find due to its distinct markings and bring to a house of worship to care for and pray to until its death. This animal would be pampered and fed better than most people living at the time. I found this little bit of human dynamics interesting, the things people worship. Bull of Bronze comes from the torture and execution implement the brazen bull. Thematically a lot of our work has to do with the means that people in power use to control the lower castes, and to contemplate ways of dismantling that power dynamic." - Achaierai (vocalist) for Moshpitnation 2018.

a lot of reviews of wrath goddess sing seem to cite the gods having lots of names/titles as confusing but so far that's not the case for me (i'm about a quarter of the way through and haven't even needed to consult the dramatis personae) but honestly i think as a world-building choice i'm just not a fan of this kind of religious syncretism thing where there seems to be one pantheon of gods known under various names across various cultures. stuff like "this persian sky god is actully just zeus under a different name" is absolutely the kind of thing you encountered in classical sources (i studied this in college a bit) but to me that belief seems reflective of a kind of cultural domination/imperialism/"our religion is the correct religion" mindset so i'm not sure how i feel about it being the, like, actual backbone of the theological world-building in this retelling. i guess it would just be a bit more interesting to me if there were actually different pantheons from different parts of the world?
