#larry#harry#harry styles#stevie nicks#bst hyde park#the sun tipped us off that harry would join stevie nicks on stage during her bst hyde park set in london tonight#the fandom was a frenzy waiting to see if it would actually happen#things were pretty well confirmed when the usual suspects started to appear#spotted on the vip platform: rob stringer; kid harpoon and wife jenny; chloe burcham and gemma; tommy bruce#shit got real when we got a photo of harry side stage#jeff was seen with him#(worth noting here that irving managed fleetwood mac at some point)#there were reports that lloyd was there and that pham was taking photos on stage#the presence of the harry parliament made it feel HS4-y#but harry seems to have been there simply to support stevie for an emotional performance#it was christine mcvie's birthday#she passed away in 2022#harry paid tribute to her with a custom ss daley hand-embroidered songbird pin on his ss daley suit#the embroidery is green and blue#the songbird pattern is inspired by an 1800s lithograph and an accompanying scarf shows four different birds#and while it may not be explicitly about larry ...#i can envision harry's smirk when asked which of the four birds he wanted stitched on the jacket#they sang stop draggin' my heart around and landslide#there was also a super cute moment when harry slipped a 'it's coming home' into the mic#not unlike his husband recently#and harry is rocking the beginnings of a skullet mullet#which i'd like to see him fully commit to#limerick-hs#july 12#2024

It's a little funny. I spend so much time compartmentalizing that I convince myself I'm totally fine, of course, all the time.
But when I was filling out the questionnaire before my therapy appointment yesterday, it was like

#speculation nation#it's ok i am now in therapy and we have weekly appointments set up#i havent always had the best experiences with therapy. and by that i mean it has never really been helpful to me#mostly tho bc it's been depression therapists. and i dont actually have depression.#what i DO have is trauma! and barely managed adhd and fibromyalgia.#and especially grief trauma in the past 5 years. oh God do i have grief trauma.#but i searched Specifically for a grief therapist with this. so she should be equipped to properly help me.#ive managed to reach an okay place regarding my old traumas. but this stuff. man it's hard.#i pushed myself to a near panic attack the other day upon realizing the painting i have is an authentic lithograph#& the realization that i am carrying the mantle of several generations of my family now.#most of the generations above me are now dead. so it's up to us to carry on their memories#and i am The One who is unapologetically incredibly tacky. up to me to carry that legacy.#it's pressure. weight that i didnt want. but i dont want to ignore it bc i dont want them to be forgotten.#so im hoping that with therapy. she can help me sort things out so it's less... difficult.#help me remember them without being paralyzed with panic and dread.#and maybe help me with my death paranoia...? 😅 i dont like feeling like anyone in my life could die at any time.#inevitable after my uncle died with only a month's warning and my dad died with barely more than a day's warning.#idk. for someone whose will to live comes from the people i love. it's rather paralyzing.#just gotta cling to the people i have left. and hold them dear.#negative/#kinda but not really. tagging just in case considering the subject matter.#idk im just trying to sort things out. no one goes through this many sudden deaths without a severe complex over it.#but. im in therapy now. and im trying. i am.

i don't think i ever posted this but this is a print i got for like $20 a while ago. it's slightly surreal and out of scale but it's beautiful i think. i like to think she's sneaking out at night to go to a ball or something.

After living in this my apartment for nearly 3 years I've finally hung up my pictures lol i have art on my walls!
#mostly pictures and paintings of birds :3#i have one painting of a hippo#and i have a lithograph of van gogh's Landscape with Green Corn#and one collage of pictures most of Leia lol#and our lease is up in may and we're not sure if we're gonna resign so it's like 🤷 whoops#at least it'll be up for a little while#oh but before this tho the only thing hung up was a picture of kakashi and a picture of yamato

I really hope the group poster for s5 is good. s1 is a classic, but I’ve always been really indifferent to s2 and s3. I do really like the s4 one tho! it’s well balanced and nice to look at
#I bought a nice lithograph of the s4 one at the st experience thing#and put it in one of my old poster frames above my bed#and I cobbled together another frame of the same size to put on the other side to balance it#and I like it bc it has like a collection of prints and stuff I got from friends at school#but. it’s not as dark as the st poster so it’s still not as balanced as I would like 😭#so I want a good s5 one that I can hang up instead LOL#i say things#stranger things //

i feel like im worrying too much about trying to do serious art right now. maybe we are in need of a spontaneous little where's ocie type of challenge on here...

orin scrivello sometimes reminds me of my late great grandfather who was a dentist up until the 70s and didn't believe in any anaesthetic. he traumatized the small town he occupied lol.
#i remember seeing a dentist chair in my grandparents basement#i also have some medical lithographs of his somewhere lol#he was born in the 1890s so its obvi i never met him lol#when i was younger i knew of his old patients#he would get them to take shots of liqour to help with the pain#old dentistry wasnt like what it is now thats for sure

was reading a book and the author wrote that something ‘was carved into their memory, etched like a lithograph’ and I was like . you don’t carve a lithograph but ok
#and the etching of a lithograph is the least like… indenting of the printmaking processes#it’s just a process of an oil pencil reacting w the ink#the pencil just sits on the stone like kdkfhjsjsjsjs#awesome process! extremely dope and the grinding of the layers to be able to make a new print is v physical#but doesn’t work for this metaphor I’m afraid#text post
