This decorative tiled stove stands in the corner of the drawing room in Carl Larsson's summer house. Larsson found the stove, dated 1754, on a building site and in need of some repair. His neighbours thought him foolish for wanting to restore and use it.

This week has been insane and stressful and I’ve been having a slow breakdown about it since last night and I just got home and was right in the middle of sobbing in my room when my neighbor pounds on the door screaming that there’s a fire in her apartment which is awesome because I have bad pyrophobia and this is my nightmare.

So now I’m calling 911 and grabbing my fire extinguisher cause hers is empty, and helping her get her dog out of the apartment, and we had to kick in the front door because it locked behind her with her cat inside. After we got the fire put out I had a panic attack but I’m glad I could help ! I do smell like burning plastic though and it’s making me feel insane
