in my head mike wheeler is the film bro cinephile of the party. hes a big brad pitt fan and fincher is his favorite director if you even care.. dirty dancing would be in his top 4 if he was honest. he went to see dune cause hes a scifi nerd, ended up hating it so much and complained about it to will but still gave it 2 stars cause it was pretty. did leave a very mean review. very critical rater but mostly leaves high ratings because he just doesn’t watch things he doesnt wanna see.

rogue one because lucas has taste. its the best star wars movie, if u care. he would love how fun and goofy ghostbusters 2 is. in my head Wes Anderson is like the party’s claimed director and they all watch his movies together and do marathons because the weirdness, comedy, and emotional commentary is a perfect mix for them. so. bottle rocket. lucas’ favorite wes anderson is the grand budapest hotel if u wanted to know. he rates things pretty highly and isn’t super critical.

likes making lucas watch gone girl on valentines day and telling him shes gonna do that to him next time he annoys her. v for vendetta is her favorite romance movie and shes a big marvel fan (in a cool way. kind of .) but thor ragnarok is probably one of her fav marvels, along with spiderman far from home and iron man. i just know she watches Casino Royale and decided she hated James Bond and then ended up watching all the Daniel Craig Bonds with Mike and loved Skyfall so much. the song is on her playlist and she did cry after No Time To Die.

also a bit of a film nerd. i considered giving him a star wars and i know in my heart he’d probably have empire somewhere in his top 4. but star wars is lame and i wanted to give him se7en so he fucking gets se7en. he knows john wick is objectively dumb but he doesnt care hes just here for a good time. the party probably watched saltburn together and all fucking hated it. I just know hes a kurosawa nerd and always goes when the local theatres do very rare special showings of his movies.

she likes movies that make her feel all warm and fuzzy and hopeful. i wanted to give her breakfast club, but i think she’d honestly like sixteen candles more (even though breakfast club’s better). she cried at almost every movie in her top 4 and makes max rewatch juno with her like once a month. she gives most movies 5 stars unless she really hates them, and loves any movie thats fun to watch, even if its bad. she likes movies with pretty girls and fun colors.

Just saw a take on tw1tter so exquisitely rotten that I fear I might have to make tons of Genoa Family art in retaliation. All the worse for being big name fans but alas, theyre entitled to their own opinion.

Anyway Helena and Djoura will forever be canon and both their parents would sooner shoot themselves in the kneecaps than see them face even the mildest of struggles. They love their daughters (and each other, suck it <3 ) so very much and there is nothing you can ever do to change that ^^

so during the clone wars era, anakin skywalker was the poster child for the jedi right? Everyone knew who he was, regardless of if they were even all that familiar with the jedi or not. Anakin was also, incredibly hot. I imagine that it was very common for teens to pass around boot-leg pictures of anakin so they could plaster his face all over their walls

flash foward to twenty years later and during a random conversation, a kid will be talking to their parent and they will offhandedly mention that the tyrannical darth vader turned out to be some dude named anakin skywalker, isnt that weird lol, and the parent just freezes in place, like, wait

I had a massive crush on darth vader?? The Darth Vader?? The guy whose picture I would kiss every night before I went to bed, that guy?? meanwhile the kid is just awkwardly standing there, wondering why their parents' brain seems to suddenly be broken

here's a horrifying thought (mild spoilers for "Infiltration"):

something something identity has been one of the focal points of Crosshair's character and he confirmed that wiping one's identity away completely is part of the Clone X program.

Hemlock tried to destroy who Crosshair was completely after the poor guy was having an internal crisis for two whole seasons. I am not ok right now.

Star wars: the sticker wars

Ahsoka running around and placing star stickers on random objects

Obi wan pausing from chatting with windu and fisto: "what are you doing dear?"

Ahsoka pausing for a moment and greeting the trio with a quick nod: "masters hello. Well anakin keeps having his cleptomanic fingers on my stuff, so i told him i'd place star stickers on everything that belongs to me"

Obi wan shaking his head: "you guys could also talk about it."

Master Fisto and windu clancing looks at each other

Ahsoka:"....naah" *hurries back to her task* "So anyway this mug is mine oh and definetly this controller he keeps stealing this the most...*Runs over and places a sticker on obi wans cheek who has gotten back to sipping his tea* *obi just blinking into his tea mug and sighing*

Mace and fisto snorting into their hands barely holding it together.

Ahsoka meawhile pokes her head around the corner yelling: "skyguy i've marked everything mine with a star sticker now, so hands off these."

A few moments later anakin comes around the same corner placing starship stickers on the exact same mug and controller.

Obi: "....Let me guess these are yours?"

Anakin: "yeah from where do you know?" *Casually places a starship sticker on obi wans forehead (who ones again tried to drink his tea) while walking by*

Obi: "Wha..hey Hey!! I'm no...augh *closes his eyes and inhales*" "nevermind obi wan think of your nerves" (to himself) *so he just goes back to actually now drinking his tea*

fisto and mace are now bursting out laughing with anakin walking off

Rex is covered and i mean covered in stickers 30% anakin and ahsokas cause they were having a sticker sticking war over him for both claiming him as theirs to death.

The rest is half the armys mostly 501st ones cause everyone keeps claiming sweet pretty rexika as their babygirl property (he is just too sweet shaped to resist)

Cody has one single heart sticker on his helmet cheek that obi wan gently placed on it stating: "i suppose everbody knows it by now but just to be shure *places sticker* my commander *sweet smile*" and walks off while poor cody baby blushed so hard he melted the insides of his helmet💞

He proudly wears that sticker "TO THIS DAYUH!" (His men want to cover him with stickers aswell but no one dares to reach for what the General owns already (also they know, you know?)

Also they are too afraid one tried but cody just gave them one authoritative look through his helmet and that was it "but thank you i appreciate your loyalty respect and admiration" He just said

Obi wan is covered in stickers cause every jedi keeps claiming him as theirs. Either for marriage or adoption.

The most sticked objects in the temple are the best chairs at the cantina and temple Spa.

Most sticked object in the Gar clone barracks and 79s is rex.

Just got back from watching episode 1 and 2 of The Acolyte, and I am VERY HAPPY to report that they were amazingggg!!!!!

This is an incredibly strong start to the show and we are in for a TREAT omg! Like seriously, if you weren't excited yet... GET EXCITED!!! Here are some of my spoiler-free thoughts:

- first of all, seeing The High Republic leap from the page to the screen is nothing short of amazing and had me smiling. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, so that's all for now.

- I don't want to say too much about the plot, so I won't, but I think this is a very nice idea!!!!! And so far, executed very well!!!

- the characters... I am already obsessed and have favorites! Sol, Yord, and Jecki are really amazing, and I already love their dynamic!

- not sure if this was the case because I saw it on the big screen, but this show has a very cinematic feel to it, something that I found lacking from some of the latest Star Wars live-action shows. I think this is also helped tremendously by the world building and all the characters roaming around. SO MANY ALIENS AND CREATURES 🤩 Not sure if they used the Volume for this show, but I don't think they did. And like Andor, you can tell, it's so good! I think the Volume can still deliver nice visuals but in small doses...

- the pacing of the story is really well done too. It puts you in the middle of the action and the story from the get-go and really did not slow down for these first two episodes. Again, something other Star Wars live-action shows have struggled with in the past. Let's see how the season progresses, but so far, so good!

- lastly, fight choreography... I thought it was soooo cool!!!! To see the Jedi rely on their hand-to-hand combat so much was awesome! I love me some lightsaber action, but this was so well executed, I loved seeing it. Really cool idea and excited for all the other upcoming fights in the show!

So yeah, I am very VERY HAPPY about the show and cannot wait for the rest of the episodes! It's going to be a fun couple of weeks ahead!
