The fun and relaxed vibe the islanders had been building quickly shifts when the new arrival walks in.
“Woah! A girl!” Topper calls out from the kitchen, prompting a giggle from the newcomer as she approaches and greets him with a hug. Y/N, Sarah and Maddy exchange glances while Rafe, JJ and John B get off the daybed to meet the new girl. Rafe turns back to the girls with a teasing grin.
“Not coming?” He jokes, prompting them to get up. Y/N adjusts her dress, taking Maddy’s hand as they join the group.
“Why do I feel like she’s going to stir up some drama?” Y/N whispers, earning a snicker from Maddy.
“You’re probably right. My intuition’s saying the same thing.” Maddy replies as they follow the others. The islanders greet her warmly, introducing themselves with hugs.
“I’m Alyssa!” She announces with a bright smile. “Shall we head to the firepit? I’d love to get to know all of you!” She leads the way enthusiastically, the boys trailing after her while the girls hesitate before following.
As they all settle in, the boys begin asking Alyssa questions. It isn’t long before she glances around the group.
“Okay, so who’s coupled up with who?” She asks. Topper quickly wraps an arm around Sarah’s shoulders.
“I’m with Sarah.” He declares, as if staking his claim. Alyssa nods, her gaze shifting to Rafe, who is sitting beside Y/N.
“What about you? Rafe, right?” She asks. Rafe blinks, caught off guard.
“Uh, yeah. I’m, uh…I’m coupled up with Y/N,” He stammers making Y/N’s brows furrow slightly as Alyssa smirks.
“And how are things going between you two?” Alyssa presses, leaning forward slightly. Rafe glances at Y/N, seemingly searching for the right words.
“It’s still early days, but things are good.” Y/N answers when his silence lingers. The rest of the couples share their pairings as Alyssa nods thoughtfully. Later, the boys excuse themselves to let the girls chat with Alyssa.
“What’s your type?” Cleo asks curiously, making Alyssa pretend to think.
“Hmm…someone fit, with light eyes, that always gets me. Someone who’s fun but can have deep conversations too.” She pauses. “Rafe seems like that kind of guy.” She adds, causing the girls to exchange pointed looks. “Honestly, Rafe and Y/N seem like the it-couple here. They’re so close already and it’s only day two.” Maddy speaks up, making Y/N roll her eyes jokingly. Alyssa shruggs, undeterred.
“Well, like you said, it’s early days. His head could still turn.” She reveals, making the girls widen their eyes as they look at Y/N who turns to Maddie.
“Told you. Drama starter.” Y/N mutters to Maddy, who giggles, before turning back into conversation.
“Look, I’m not here to make seasonal girlfriends. I’m here to find love. If that means stepping on toes, so be it. You can’t expect to stay coupled up with the same person for weeks on end.” Alyssa leans back, addressing the group.
The girls exchange tense glances as Alyssa stands up. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to chat with the boys. See you around.” She walks away, her hips swaying exaggeratedly as she approaches the guys in the kitchen.
“Oh my god.” Sarah mutters.
“I was this close to punching her.” Kiara says through gritted teeth.
“She’s got some nerve.” Cleo adds. They all turn to Y/N, expecting a reaction.
“Aren’t you going to say something? She basically said she’s coming for Rafe.” Kiara presses, but Y/N only shrugs.
“Guys, it's still the second day. I…yeah, I have fun with Rafe already and there’s definitely something building there, but if his head is gonna turn, I can't help it.” She says, her voice casual, though there’s an underlying tension in her words.
“He’s not going to go for her.” Maddy says confidently and the others nod in agreement.
“Early days, Mads.” She tries to remind Maddy, but mostly says it as a reminder to herself.
The rest of the evening unfolds with Alyssa effortlessly mingling with the guys, laughing and chatting as she tries to make connections. When it’s finally time to wind down, the girls retreat to the makeup room, giggling and talking as they remove their makeup and change for bed. Alyssa, however, is in the bathroom, mid-skincare routine, when Rafe walks in wearing nothing but his boxers, ready to brush his teeth.
“Oh, hey.” He says casually, grabbing and wetting the bristles of his toothbrush. Alyssa smirks, letting her hair tumble free from her ponytail and running her fingers through it.
“Hey, Rafe.” She replies, her tone light and flirtatious. She leans against the counter, her gaze roaming over his defined chest and abs.
“You good? Having fun?” He asks, voice slightly muffled from toothpaste as he starts brushing his teeth.
“Yeah.” She answers, her smirk widening. “You guys are fun. Nice. And very good-looking.” Rafe chuckles, spitting into the sink before wiping his mouth with a towel. She steps closer, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger.
“So, what is it you said you do?”
“My family owns a construction and development company.” Rafe replies, his tone polite but detached. Alyssa nods thoughtfully.
“Do you have a type?” She asks, her bluntness catching him off guard.
“Uh…not really.” He says after a pause. “I guess I like someone I can have fun with, adventures, good banter, that sort of thing.” As he speaks, his thoughts drift to Y/N. If they could go far enough to explore whatever this chemistry between them has to offer.
“Oh my god, that’s exactly what I look for too!” Alyssa exclaims, her eyes lighting up. “So…would you say I’m your type?” Rafe glances at her briefly before shrugging.
“Uh, sure.” He replies nonchalantly, his tone devoid of enthusiasm, but Alyssa smirks.
“Good to know.” She murmurs.
Just then, the bathroom door opens and Y/N steps inside. She’s wearing a pink pajama set with delicate lace trim, her tank top and shorts hugging her frame perfectly. Her wide eyes flicker between them.
“Am I interrupting?” She asks quietly, fidgeting with the ring on her finger. Rafe straightens immediately, relief washing over him at the sight of her.
“No, no, not at all.” He assures her, stepping aside so she can reach the sink. Alyssa gives Y/N a slow, appraising look before humming softly.
“Well, I’ll leave you two to it. Nice talking to you, Rafe.” Without waiting for a response, she saunters out of the room. Y/N ties her hair back and begins washing her face. Rafe leans against the counter, watching her through the mirror.
“You okay?” He asks, his voice softer now and she nods, glancing at him with a small smile. Rafe’s chest tightens at her smile. He waits patiently as she finishes rinsing her face and grabs her toothbrush.
“What do you think of Alyssa?” She asks suddenly, catching him off guard. Rafe’s brows shoot up.
“Uh…she’s…okay?” He says hesitantly and Y/N raises an eyebrow, silently urging him to continue.
“She’s pretty.” He admits, shifting uncomfortably. “But there’s something missing. I just…I don’t think I could ever be attracted to her. Not in the same way as…” He trails off, his gaze locking with hers through the mirror. He closes his eyes, scratching the back of his neck, before finishing his sentence. “…you.”
Y/N’s eyes widen as she nearly chokes on her toothpaste. She turns away, coughing violently. Rafe immediately steps forward, gently rubbing her back.
“You okay? Want me to grab you some water?” He asks, concerned but she shakes her head, still coughing.
“No, no, I’m fine. Just…swallowed wrong.” She manages, her cheeks flushing as she spits into the sink. Rafe chuckles, leaning against the counter again as she wipes her mouth. His eyes drift over her, taking in her loose ponytail and her now-glowing, makeup-free face.
“What’s that?” He asks when she grabs a small jar from the counter.
“My moisturizer.” She explains, with a hoarse voice. “Do you want some?” Rafe nods, a smirk tugging at his lips.
“Only if you do it.” He murmurs making Y/N laugh softly as she gestures for him to lean down. He crouches slightly, closing his eyes as her fingers gently glide over his face. Her touch is featherlight and Rafe exhales a deep breath he didn’t realize he was holding.
“That feels…really good.” He whispers. Y/N smiles, carefully working the cream into his skin.
“It’ll feel sticky at first, but it’s great for hydration. With all the sun we’re exposed to, it helps a lot.” She explains. When she finishes, Rafe glances in the mirror, noting the glow on his face.
“Looks good.” He says, turning back to her. His eyes linger as she adjusts her tank top strap and his jaw tightens at the sight of her effortless beauty.
“Ready to head downstairs?” He asks, clearing his throat and Y/N nods, leading the way to the bedroom. They settle into their respective sides of the bed, adjusting the covers. Y/N shifts slightly, her leg brushing against his and Rafe’s breath hitches.
As the rest of the islanders head to bed and the lights dim, Rafe props himself on one elbow, watching Y/N as she faces him. He brushes a strand of hair away from her face.
“You don’t have to worry about her, you know.” He whispers, making Y/N hum softly in question, her eyes meeting his.
“Alyssa.” He clarifies. “I like what we have and I want to see where it goes. However long or short that is.” His fingers twist a strand of her hair as he speaks, his voice barely audible. Y/N smiles, her arm draping over his torso in response. Rafe mirrors her smile, pulling her closer. He presses a gentle kiss to her forehead, the warmth of her body lulling him into a peaceful sleep.
The next day moves at a slower pace compared to the earlier ones. The girls lounge by the pool, gossiping about the boys as they work out and relax around the villa. Rafe and Y/N find a quiet moment together, stretched out on the couch under the terrace, getting to know each other better.
“Do you have any hobbies?” Rafe asks, his eyes closed as Y/N’s nails lightly trace along his arm, the touch comforting them both.
“Uh…I dance. I paint. And I read a lot too.” She reveals, her voice soft but genuine.
“Creative, aren’t you?” He teases, a smirk tugging at his lips, making her chuckle lightly.
“What can I say?” She teases, making him laugh along.
“What kind of dancing do you do?” His curiosity is evident and her touch doesn’t falter as she answers.
“I do some hip-hop, some contemporary too but mostly heels dancing.” She admits casually, catching him by surprise.
“Heels dancing? How does that even work?” He asks, raising a brow in disbelief.
“It’s this really sexy, technical style of dance in stilettos. It can be very challenging, but it’s so beautiful.” She explains, her face lighting up with enthusiasm as she talks about it. Rafe can’t help but admire the way she glows when she speaks about the things she loves.
“That sounds…I mean, I’ve got to see that.” He teases, grinning at her reaction.
“We’ll see about that.” She murmurs, looking away bashfully.
“Don’t get shy on me now.” He prods. “I bet you’re incredible at it. Especially that kind of dance.” Her nails pause briefly as she looks at him.
“You really think so?”
“I do.” He says earnestly. “And I’d love to see you dance. Anytime.” Her lips curl into a smile.
“Okay.” She whispers, agreeing softly.
Their quiet moment is interrupted by the sharp ping of a phone notification. Gasps ripple through the villa and Y/N sits up quickly, exchanging wide-eyed glances with Rafe as he follows her lead.
“Yeah? You’ll actually let me?” He presses, slightly surprised, but her soft laugh and nod are all the confirmation he needs. He grins, satisfied, before pulling his sunglasses back on and laying back down on the couch.
“I got a text!” Alyssa’s voice rings out, full of excitement. Y/N rises from the couch and glances toward the pool, where some of the girls chill in, Rafe instinctively placing a hand on her shoulder as he trails behind her.
“Alyssa, tonight you get to couple up with a boy of your choice, leaving a girl single and vulnerable. #maketherightchoice #steppingontoes.” Alyssa grins, reading the message aloud. Her excitement is palpable, while the rest of the girls exchange uneasy looks. The boys huddle nearby, their murmurs growing louder. Y/N glances at Rafe, the pit in her stomach tightening.
“I’m…I’m gonna go talk to the girls.” She mutters, her voice low. Rafe nods slowly.
“Yeah, of course. I’ll see you later.” He says, giving her shoulder a reassuring squeeze before letting her go. His eyes follow her as she walks toward Maddy and Sarah, her bikini accentuating every curve.
“I feel like I’m gonna throw up.” Sarah groans as Y/N sits down beside her.
“Did you see how thrilled she was to read that? She doesn’t care about any of us.” Maddy snaps, glaring toward Alyssa.
“Y/N, what’s on your mind?” Sarah asks, noticing the tension on her face.
“I…I don’t know. It’s just…I can’t control who she’s going to pick. And if it’s Rafe…” She pauses, taking a deep breath. “Yeah, I’ll be pretty bummed.” Maddy shakes her head firmly.
“He won’t give her a reason to pick him. He likes you, Y/N. It's obvious.” Before Y/N can respond, Alyssa’s high-pitched voice cuts through the villa.
“Rafey! Can I chat with you?”
Y/N stiffens, glancing over as Alyssa grabs Rafe’s arm. He looks confused but doesn’t protest. He turns back briefly, as if to gauge Y/N’s reaction, but she’s already averting her gaze. With a sigh, he lets Alyssa lead him to a secluded couch far from the others.
“Spoke too soon.” Y/N mutters under her breath, her fingers fidgeting with her ring as she tries to suppress the unease bubbling in her chest.
“Don’t do this to yourself.” Maddy insists. “Rafe likes you. A chat doesn’t mean anything.”
Meanwhile, Alyssa is pouring on the charm as she talks to Rafe, her fingers twirling a strand of hair.
“When was your last relationship?” She asks, her tone dripping with fake sweetness. Rafe shifts uncomfortably, avoiding her gaze.
“Over a year ago.” He says flatly.
“Was it a bad breakup?” She presses, leaning in closer and Rafe’s jaw tightens.
“That’s none of your business.”
“Relax, it’s just a question.” Alyssa replies with a low chuckle, her eyes shamelessly scanning him. “You work out, don’t you?” He nods curtly, barely holding back his irritation. Alyssa laughs softly at her own comment, but Rafe is already tuning her out. His thoughts drift back to Y/N. He can’t wait to walk away from this pointless conversation and return to her.
In the kitchen, Y/N is slicing fruit for a smoothie when Pope joins her, sliding onto a nearby stool. His eyes flick toward where Rafe and Alyssa are seated.
“They’ve been talking for a while.” He notes casually. Y/N glances in their direction briefly before returning her attention to the fruit. Her hands move quickly, but her grip on the knife is noticeably tense.
“Are you okay?” Pope asks gently. “Maybe…put the knife down for a second?” Startled, Y/N looks at her trembling hand and sets the knife aside with a sigh.
“I’m fine. Just…you know.” She struggles to explain, but Pope nods knowingly.
“I get it. My ex, she was gorgeous.”
“She’s not dead, Pope.” Y/N quips, cracking a small smile despite herself and he laughs.
“Fair. But yeah, she always got a lot of attention. And I’m not the jealous type, well, I try not to be, but it got to me sometimes.”
“I’m not jealous. I’m just…worried.” Y/N admits.
“That’s fair.” Pope says thoughtfully. “But even if things don’t go as planned, you’ll find someone who’s perfect for you.” He pauses, smirking. “Maybe he’s closer than you think.” Y/N chuckles, shaking her head as Pope blushes.
“Thanks, Pope. I appreciate it.” She says warmly before turning back to her smoothie.
“Hey.” Rafe says casually, drawing both of their gazes. Cleo smirks, rising from her seat.
As the sun dips below the horizon, the villa comes alive once again, music and laughter weaving through the air. Islanders mingle, drinks in hand, their conversations buzzing with energy. Y/N sits with Cleo on the daybed, both of them laughing loudly as they chat, until he approaches.
“I’ll leave you two to do your little Bluetooth thing.” She teases, waving a hand between them. Y/N rolls her eyes, the corners of her lips twitching in amusement.
“See you later, boo.” Y/N murmurs as Cleo leans down to kiss her cheek, then walks away with a knowing grin. Rafe takes her place, kneeling on the daybed before sitting down beside Y/N.
“You okay?” He asks, his voice soft as his eyes fall to her hands, which are busy twisting the rings on her fingers.
“Yeah.” She whispers, but her tone betrays her. Rafe frowns slightly and reaches for her hand, his touch gentle.
“Be honest. Did I do something? You’ve been...distant. Earlier, we were good. Did I say something stupid?” Y/N lifts her head, her eyes meeting his briefly before she shakes her head.
“No, no, you didn’t do anything. It’s just...I...” She trails off, struggling to find the words.
“You can tell me. Whatever it is, I want to know.” He squeezes her hand, his voice steady and comforting. Y/N exhales deeply.
“Alyssa.” She finally murmurs. “She...I’m worried.” Rafe shakes his head immediately.
“You shouldn't be.” He says.
“I mean, I get it…it's pretty early to close things off or anything and of course I'm not gonna ask you to do something like that. It's just…I like…how we are. The vibes, the talks, everything. And…I wanna explore this. But I can't help and worry. You know?” She explains and he nods understandingly.
“Yeah, I get it. And for the record, I do like how things are going too. But…I'm not interested in her.” He assures her, his voice firm. She exhales softly, the tension in her shoulders easing.
“Okay.” She whispers. “But…what if-”
“She's not gonna pick me. I made it pretty clear that I'm not interested in her. Okay? Can you trust me on this?” He asks, grabbing her hand to reassure her. Her fingers tighten around his as she nods, her eyes meeting his. For a moment, everything else fades away. Her breath hitches when his gaze drops to her lips, but the moment is broken by the sharp ping of a phone. Y/N pulls back slightly, her eyes darting to the kitchen where Topper is staring at his screen.
“I got a text!” He announces. “Can all islanders gather at the firepit? #shitisabouttogodown #stealingtime.”
The group buzzes with chatter as they move toward the firepit. Rafe helps Y/N to her feet, keeping her hand in his as they walk. Just before they arrive, he gently tugs her closer.
“We’re going to be okay.” He murmurs, his arm slipping around her waist as he leads her to sit down beside him.
The tension in the air is thick as everyone waits, nerves on edge. Another phone ping sounds and all eyes turn to Alyssa, who smirks as she stands, her phone in hand.
“Alyssa, it’s time for you to choose which boy you want to couple up with.” She reads aloud, stepping forward. The girls exchange uneasy glances, but Y/N keeps her focus on the fire.
“This wasn’t an easy decision.” Alyssa begins, her tone practiced. “I didn’t have much time to think and I’m not sure if it’s the right choice. But this boy made me feel welcome and I really enjoyed the banter we shared. And I think there's more to explore with him.”
“The boy I want to couple up with is...” She pauses, the silence stretching. Sarah glances nervously at Y/N, Kiara’s leg bounces restlessly and Cleo suppresses a yawn.
“Rafe.”
Y/N feels her chest tighten at the reveal, her heart sinking.
“Oh my god.” Maddy whispers. Rafe looks at Alyssa, stunned, before turning to Y/N, whose face is unreadable as she stares into the flames. Alyssa steps closer, extending her hand to Rafe. He rises reluctantly, not touching her, his gaze fixed on Y/N.
Another ping breaks the silence. Y/N picks up her phone with trembling hands.
“Y/N, you are now single.” She reads quietly. “But don’t worry, the best is yet to come. #itsokayboo #troubleinparadise.” Sarah and Maddy immediately move to her side, guiding her away from the firepit. Rafe steps forward, trying to follow, but Cleo blocks him.
“Give her some time, pretty boy.” She says firmly, following the group with Kiara.
“What the fuck just happened?” JJ mutters, staring into the firepit as the others look on in stunned silence.
In the kitchen, the girls gather around Y/N on the couch, their faces etched with concern.
“How are you feeling?” Sarah asks cautiously and Cleo elbows her.
“What kind of question is that? Obviously, she feels like shit.”
“Cleo!” Maddy snaps, before turning back to Y/N. “Is there anything we can do to help?”
“I’m fine.” Y/N lies, twisting her ring anxiously.
“Don’t do that.” Kiara says softly, kneeling in front of her. “It’s okay to be upset.” Y/N exhales shakily.
“He told me not to worry. That he made it clear to her he wasn’t interested. He said she wouldn’t pick him. And yet...here we are.” The girls all stare at her with sympathy, wanting to comfort her. Before the girls can respond, Rafe’s voice cuts in.
“Can we talk?” He asks.
“She doesn’t want to talk to you,” Kiara snaps, her tone icy.
“Fuck off.” Sarah adds sharply.
“All men do is lie.” Cleo mutters, shoving him back. Rafe stumbles and sighs, his eyes glued on Y/N who looks at Maddy on the other side. Maddy rubs her back as she stares back at her.
“Please.” Rafe says desperately, his eyes fixed on Y/N. “I didn’t know she’d do this. Y/N, come on.” Y/N finally looks up at him, her voice steady but cold.
“She wouldn’t have chosen you if you hadn’t given her a reason to.”
“I didn’t!” Rafe exclaims, frustration coloring his voice. “I told her I wasn’t interested!”
“Yeah, right.” Y/N retorts. “I don’t want to hear it, Rafe. You made me trust you and now you’ve ruined it.”
“She didn’t misunderstand.” Alyssa interjects smugly, crossing her arms.
“I didn’t mean to betray your trust…upset you. I meant it when I said that I'm not into her. Okay? I don't know, she…she must have misunderstood.” He exclaims, Alyssa and the boys following her.
Rafe turns to her, frustration evident in his furrowed brows, but before he can say anything, Y/N stands abruptly from the couch and heads inside the villa. The group shifts their attention to Rafe and Alyssa.
“Alyssa, what do you mean?” Sarah asks, adjusting her dress.
“I mean, Rafe was being nice to me, flirting, even. He never said he was closed off or that he wasn’t interested.” Alyssa claims, her voice laced with confidence. Rafe exhales sharply, rubbing a hand down his face.
“Alyssa, I’m not interested in you. And I wasn’t flirting. I was just being polite. That’s it.” His tone is firm, and Alyssa stiffens at his words. “I like Y/N.” He continues, his voice unwavering.
“I like how things are with her. Yeah, it’s early and she said we should keep our options open, but I’m not keeping them open for you.” With that, he turns on his heel and walks away, leaving everyone stunned, including Alyssa.
Upstairs, Y/N sits on the terrace, absentmindedly twisting a ring on her finger as her eyes glimmer. The soft click of the door closing behind Rafe makes her glance up.
“Can we please talk?” He asks, his voice quiet, almost hesitant. She nods and he steps closer, settling beside her.
“Don’t shut me out.” He pleads. “Yell at me if you have to. Just…don’t shut me out.” Y/N sighs, her gaze dropping to her hands.
“I shouldn’t be upset. We never said we were exclusive and it’s still early. But…when she said you made her feel welcome, that she wanted to explore something with you, it frustrated me. Because you told me you weren’t interested. That you made it clear to her.”
“I did make it clear.” Rafe insists. “I swear, I never meant to give her the wrong idea.” She exhales shakily.
“Trust is a big thing for me, Rafe. And it’s not easy for me to just-” She stops, her voice trailing off. Rafe reaches out, resting a reassuring hand on her thigh.
“I know I messed up. I should have been more direct with her.” His thumb brushes against her skin in a soothing motion. “I get it if you’re upset. You have every right to. But I want to make this up to you, to prove to you that I like you, Y/N. That I’m in this.” His voice softens. “I can’t promise I won’t screw up again, because, honestly? I can be kind of an idiot.” A small laugh escapes her lips and Rafe grins.
“But I can promise to try for you.” He finishes, the sincerity in his eyes catching her off guard. She leans in slightly and he takes the hint, cupping her face gently. Her eyes flicker to his lips.
“I don’t want you to feel obliged to choose me.” She murmurs. “I love spending time with you, but I don’t want you turning people down just because of me or because you think you have to.”
“Just…let's see where this takes us? Okay?” She asks and Rafe doesn’t answer. Instead, he closes the distance, pressing his lips to hers. She stiffens for half a second before melting into him, the kiss soft yet charged. When they finally pull apart, Rafe’s lips curl into a small smile.
“Promise me you won’t shut me out.” He whispers. “I need to hear you. Even if it’s just to tell me I’m being a dumbass.” She rolls her eyes playfully.
“Okay, Rafey.” The moment the nickname leaves her lips, Rafe tenses. He swallows hard.
“Wh-what?” His voice comes out rougher than expected. She smirks.
“It’s not ridiculous.” He mutters under his breath, making her brows lift in confusion.
“Oh, that ridiculous nickname Alyssa called you earlier.” She rolls her eyes, grinning.
“Oh? My bad, I didn’t realize you actually liked it-”
“No, no.” He interrupts quickly. “I don’t mean that. I just-” He hesitates, then exhales. “I don’t like it when she says it. But…when you say it? I don’t mind.” Y/N tilts her head, amused.
“Oh? Good to know.” A knowing smile tugs at her lips as she leans back and Rafe watches her, shaking his head with a quiet chuckle.
Under the night sky, they sit together in comfortable silence, the tension between them slowly fading into something lighter, something undeniable.
Later that night, as the islanders get ready for bed, Y/N heads downstairs and immediately notices the newly added bed in the room, her name plaque resting on top. She sighs softly, slipping under the covers and getting comfortable. Maddy walks past, pausing just long enough to press a quick kiss to her forehead before heading to her own bed. Moments later, JJ strolls by and stops beside her, smirking.
“You know, Maddy wouldn’t mind me joining you.” He teases. Y/N rolls her eyes, fighting back a smile.
“Go to bed, J.” She says and JJ shrugs.
“Well, I offered.” He exclaims before wandering off. Soon after, Rafe makes his way to his own bed, only to pause when he notices the name plaque on it has changed. His gaze sweeps the room until he spots her. Without hesitation, he walks over, leans down and presses a kiss to her lips before she can react.
“I’m gonna miss you tonight.” He murmurs, his lips still grazing hers. From across the room, Topper and Sarah holler in amusement, making Y/N giggle. She playfully pecks Rafe’s lips once more.
“You mean you’re gonna miss me hogging the blanket?” She teases.
“Oh, 100%.” He deadpans. “I love waking up in the middle of the night freezing while you’re wrapped up like a human burrito.” She laughs, giving him a gentle push.
“Go to your bed.” She murmurs. Rafe smirks, backing away slowly before finally climbing into his bed, conveniently positioned across from hers. He doesn’t take his eyes off her, watching as she shakes her head and turns to chat with Cleo.
Then, Alyssa enters the room. The energy shifts as everyone’s attention flickers toward her. Without saying a word, she moves to her bed and lies down, keeping to the very edge. She doesn’t look at Rafe. Doesn’t speak to anyone.
“Goodnight, everyone!” Kiara calls from across the room, sparking a chorus of sleepy goodnights as the lights dim. Just as the room falls into silence, Rafe’s voice cuts through the darkness.
“Oh, hey, Y/N!” She furrows her brows, cheeks instantly warming, nervous for what to come out of his mouth.
“W-what?”
The entire room seems to hold its breath, waiting for whatever he’s about to say.
“For the love of God and for my sake, please don’t dream of Captain America tonight.” He jokes. Laughter erupts, filling the space. Y/N grins, grabbing her pillow and launching it across the room. It hits Rafe with a muffled thud, making him groan. As the laughter fades and the room settles, Y/N exhales softly, sinking into her bed.
Maybe Rafe was right. They’re going to be okay.

Summary: Y/N never expected a college party to change anything—until she met Harry. What starts as a quiet connection over books and movies slowly turns into something deeper, proving that some things are simply meant to be.
Wordcount: 32k+ (I have been carried away, sorry 😅)
A/N: Happy Valentine’s Day! ♡ Here’s a little story about love finding you when you least expect it. Hope you enjoy it! Let me know what you think!
Masterlist
— — —
The party was louder than she expected.
Y/N wasn’t sure why she had let Charlotte convince her to come. Maybe it was the way her roommate had pleaded, eyes wide with excitement, promising it would be “just for an hour.” Or maybe it was the fact that she had spent too many Friday nights curled up in bed while the rest of campus buzzed with energy.
She had thought, just for once, that maybe she should say yes.
But now, standing in the middle of the crowded living room, she regretted it.
The music thumped against the walls, the bass so deep she could feel it in her ribs. Laughter and voices blurred together in an endless hum, broken only by the occasional shout of someone calling out to a friend. The air was thick—too many people, too much perfume, too much heat.
She tugged at the hem of her sweater, suddenly self-conscious. She wasn’t dressed for this, not like the other girls in shimmering tops and short skirts. She had gone for comfort—jeans, a fitted top, her favorite oversized cardigan—but now she felt out of place, like she hadn’t read the unspoken dress code.
Charlotte had disappeared almost immediately, swallowed up by the crowd, probably off to find that guy she’d been texting. Y/N had tried to follow for a bit, but the sea of people made it impossible to keep up.
Now she was alone, pressed against the wall, holding a drink she hadn’t even sipped.
She exhaled, glancing toward the front door. Maybe she could just leave. Charlotte wouldn’t mind—she was too caught up in her own night.
Then, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted an open door leading to the balcony.
Without thinking, she headed for it, slipping outside and closing the door behind her.
Cool air washed over her, a welcome contrast to the stifling heat inside. She let out a breath she hadn’t realized she was holding and leaned against the railing, her fingers wrapping around the cold metal. The city stretched out in front of her, distant lights flickering against the night sky. From here, the noise of the party was muffled, just a dull hum beneath the sound of the wind rustling through the trees.
She closed her eyes for a moment, letting the silence settle over her.
And then—
“You don’t look like you’re having fun.”
The voice was smooth, warm. British.
Her eyes snapped open.
Turning slightly, she found herself face to face with someone she recognized immediately.
Harry Styles.
Her breath hitched, just for a second.
She had seen him around before, of course. It was hard not to notice him. He wasn’t the typical loud, overly confident guy that thrived in these kinds of settings, but he had a presence that made people gravitate toward him anyway. Maybe it was the way he carried himself—calm, collected, always with an air of quiet amusement, like he was in on some inside joke no one else knew about.
Now, standing in front of her in the dim balcony light, he looked impossibly at ease.
His dark curls were pushed back messily, a few strands falling over his forehead. A pair of thin-rimmed glasses rested on the bridge of his nose, framing sharp green eyes that studied her with quiet interest. His loose button-up was unbuttoned at the top, the sleeves rolled up just enough to reveal the intricate tattoos winding down his forearms.
He held a drink casually in one hand, the other tucked into his pocket, like he had all the time in the world.
She swallowed.
“I—uh—yeah,” she finally managed. “Parties aren’t really my thing.”
His lips quirked, as if her answer didn’t surprise him at all. “Figured as much.”
She raised an eyebrow. “Oh? And how exactly did you figure that?”
He took a slow sip from his drink before answering. “Well, for one, you’ve been out here for at least five minutes and haven’t checked your phone once.” His eyes flickered toward the door. “And two… you look like you’re trying to disappear.”
She huffed out a quiet laugh. “That obvious?”
Harry smirked. “A little.”
For a moment, neither of them spoke. The city lights flickered in the distance, and the air between them felt charged—not uncomfortable, but something else entirely.
Then, he shifted slightly, turning more toward her.
“I’m Harry, by the way.”
She let out a small breath, amused. As if she didn’t already know.
“I know,” she admitted, then immediately winced. “I mean—everyone knows who you are.”
Harry chuckled, the sound low and warm. “That’s fair.” He tilted his head slightly. “And you are…?”
“Y/N.”
He repeated it, softer this time, like he was testing the way it felt on his tongue. Then, with a small smile, he extended his hand. “Well, Y/N, it’s nice to officially meet you.”
She hesitated for just a second before slipping her hand into his.
His palm was warm, his grip gentle but firm.
“Nice to meet you too, Harry.”
His fingers lingered a second longer than necessary before he let go.
He leaned his elbow against the railing, glancing at her thoughtfully. “So, if parties aren’t your thing… what would you rather be doing right now?”
She bit her lip, thinking. “Watching a movie, probably.”
Harry’s brows lifted slightly. “Anything in particular?”
She hesitated, then decided to be honest. “A romcom.”
His lips curled into a slow smile. “You like romcoms?”
She nodded. “I grew up watching them. Notting Hill, 10 Things I Hate About You, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days… I know they’re cheesy, but I love them.”
He studied her for a second, then let out a soft chuckle. “Cheesy doesn’t mean bad. Those are classics.”
She tilted her head. “Wait… you actually like them too?”
Harry smirked, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. “Course I do. I mean, have you seen When Harry Met Sally? It’s got my name in it. That’s a sign, don’t you think?”
She laughed—really laughed, for the first time that night.
Harry watched her, his expression softer now, like he was pleased to be the reason behind it.
The conversation flowed easier after that. They debated over the best romcom of all time, exchanged favorite scenes, and argued about which movie had the most unrealistic yet satisfying ending. Somewhere in between, Y/N forgot about the party altogether.
But eventually, her phone buzzed in her pocket—Charlotte, probably looking for her.
She sighed, realizing she had to go.
Harry noticed. “Leaving already?”
“Yeah, I think so.” She hesitated, then, feeling unusually bold, added, “But… maybe next time, I’ll skip the party and just watch a romcom instead.”
His smile was slow, almost knowing. “Maybe next time, you won’t have to watch it alone.”
Her heart skipped a beat.
And as she stepped back inside, disappearing into the noise and the crowd, she couldn’t help but hope—just a little—that this was only the beginning.
———
The next morning, Y/N woke up to the sound of Charlotte’s voice.
“Well, well, well,” her roommate drawled, leaning against the doorframe with her arms crossed. “Look who’s finally awake.”
Y/N groaned, burying her face into the pillow. “What time is it?”
“Almost eleven,” Charlotte said, walking over and flopping down onto the bed beside her. “And you have some explaining to do.”
Y/N peeked at her through one eye. “Explaining?”
Charlotte grinned, far too awake for this early in the morning. “Don’t play innocent with me. You disappeared at the party. And when I finally found you again, you looked… different.” She wiggled her eyebrows. “So spill.”
Y/N sighed, rolling onto her back. “There’s nothing to spill.”
Charlotte gasped dramatically. “Lies! I saw you talking to Harry Styles.” She poked Y/N’s side. “You—quiet, book-loving, avoider of all social gatherings—somehow ended up alone on a balcony with the most intriguing guy on campus.”
Y/N felt her face heat up. “It wasn’t like that,” she muttered.
Charlotte smirked. “Then what was it like?”
Y/N hesitated. The truth was, she wasn’t exactly sure.
“It was… nice,” she admitted after a moment. “We just talked.”
Charlotte studied her, eyes narrowing in suspicion. “Talked? That’s it?”
Y/N nodded.
Charlotte huffed, flopping back against the bed. “You’re impossible.”
Y/N smiled, sitting up and stretching. “Did you at least have fun?”
Charlotte let out a dreamy sigh. “Oh, absolutely. And I might have secured myself a coffee date with Mason.”
Y/N raised an eyebrow. “Mason?”
“You know, Harry’s friend? Tall, kind of scruffy, ridiculously charming?” Charlotte waggled her fingers. “I think we have a connection.”
Y/N laughed softly. “I’m happy for you.”
Charlotte sat up again, her expression turning devious. “And speaking of coffee dates…”
Y/N’s stomach fluttered. “No.”
Charlotte pouted. “Come on! I think he likes you.”
Y/N rolled her eyes. “We talked for, like, twenty minutes.”
Charlotte shrugged. “That’s plenty of time to make an impression. And if he really likes you, you’ll see him again.”
Y/N didn’t answer. Because the thought had already crossed her mind.
Would she see him again?
———
She did.
Three days later.
At the campus café.
Y/N had been curled up in a corner booth, a warm cup of tea beside her as she flipped through a book for class. The café was quiet, filled mostly with students studying or catching up on assignments. The hum of conversation and the occasional clinking of cups created the kind of atmosphere she loved—calm, steady, familiar.
And then, a shadow fell over her table.
“Y/N.”
She looked up.
And there he was.
Harry Styles, standing beside her table, a cup of coffee in one hand and a curious tilt to his head. He wasn’t wearing his glasses today, but she still recognized the quiet amusement in his eyes.
“Hi,” she said, feeling her heart pick up speed.
His lips twitched. “Mind if I sit?”
She hesitated for only a second before shaking her head. “Go ahead.”
Harry slid into the seat across from her, setting his coffee down. “Didn’t think I’d run into you here.”
She raised an eyebrow. “Really?”
He smirked, leaning forward slightly. “Alright, I might have hoped I would.”
Her stomach did an embarrassing little flip.
“What are you reading?” he asked, nodding toward the book in her hands.
She glanced down, suddenly self-conscious. “Uh, Wuthering Heights.”
His brows lifted, impressed. “Intense choice.”
She shrugged. “It’s for class, but I like it.”
Harry studied her for a moment, then leaned back in his chair, stretching out comfortably. “So, tell me—are you one of those people who think Heathcliff is romantic, or do you see him for the walking red flag that he is?”
Y/N blinked in surprise. “You’ve read it?”
He smirked. “I have.”
She bit her lip, eyeing him. “And?”
Harry sighed dramatically. “Look, I get the passion, the whole ‘soulmate across time and space’ thing, but let’s be honest—if Heathcliff were around today, he’d be sending late-night ‘u up?’ texts and brooding over his ex’s Instagram posts.”
Y/N let out a surprised laugh. “That is… disturbingly accurate.”
Harry grinned. “And you? Are you a Heathcliff apologist?”
She shook her head. “I think he and Cathy deserved each other—because no one else should have to deal with that level of drama.”
Harry chuckled. “Harsh, but fair.”
There was something about the way he looked at her—curious, amused, like he was genuinely interested in what she had to say. It made her stomach twist in a way she wasn’t used to.
A beat of silence stretched between them.
Then—
“So,” Harry said, breaking the moment, “you never told me your verdict.”
Y/N frowned. “My verdict?”
“The best romcom of all time.”
She smiled, relieved by the lighter topic. “That’s impossible to answer.”
Harry leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table. “Alright. Then let’s make it simpler. What’s your go-to comfort movie?”
She thought for a second. “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.”
His eyes lit up. “Classic.”
She nodded. “It’s just fun, you know? The whole fake dating thing, the ridiculousness of it all. And Kate Hudson? Iconic.”
Harry smirked. “And the ‘You let it die!’ scene? A cinematic masterpiece.”
Y/N laughed. “Exactly.”
Harry studied her for a moment, then said, “I like that.”
Y/N suddenly felt warm under his gaze. She looked down, tracing the rim of her cup. “What about you?”
Harry pretended to think. “Mmm… Notting Hill.”
She grinned. “Oh, come on. You just like it because of the ‘I’m just a girl’ scene.”
He laughed. “Maybe. Or maybe I like the idea that two people from completely different worlds can still find their way to each other.”
Something about the way he said it made her stomach flutter.
The conversation drifted after that—talk of books, movies, little things that made them both feel at home. The more they spoke, the more Y/N felt that strange, unexpected ease settle between them.
And when she finally glanced at the time, she realized an hour had passed without her even noticing.
“I should probably get to class,” she murmured, closing her book.
Harry nodded, but didn’t look particularly eager to leave.
As she stood, sliding her bag over her shoulder, he tapped his fingers against the table. “So…”
She looked at him expectantly.
He smirked. “Movie night?”
Her heart skipped. “Are you asking me out, Harry Styles?”
His expression was all mischief. “Maybe.”
She bit her lip, pretending to consider. Then, feeling unusually bold, she said, “Okay.”
Harry’s smirk turned into something softer.
“Good,” he said.
And as she walked away, she could feel his eyes on her the whole time.
———
The library was quieter than usual.
Y/N liked it that way. She liked the solitude, the way the world seemed to shrink down to just her and the words on the page. It was calming—predictable.
What she didn’t expect, however, was a voice breaking through the silence.
“Didn’t peg you as the type to hide away in a library for fun.”
She looked up, already knowing who she would see.
Harry stood in front of her table, a familiar smirk on his lips, glasses perched on the bridge of his nose. He had a notebook tucked under his arm and a coffee in hand, looking completely at ease despite the way his presence sent her heart racing.
Y/N rolled her eyes playfully. “And yet, here you are.”
Harry hummed, sliding into the chair across from her. “Touché.”
She watched as he set his coffee down and flipped open his notebook, as if he belonged there—like this was routine.
Y/N raised an eyebrow. “Are you actually here to study, or are you just bothering me for fun?”
Harry grinned. “Can it be both?”
She huffed, biting back a smile as she returned her gaze to her book. But she could still feel his eyes on her.
A beat passed before he spoke again. “Wuthering Heights, huh? Still brooding over Heathcliff?”
Y/N sighed, looking up. “You do realize I read more than one book, right?”
Harry’s smirk widened. “Do you, now?”
She rolled her eyes and turned the book so he could see the title.
His gaze flickered over the cover before he raised an eyebrow. “White Nights?”
Y/N tilted her head. “Surprised?”
Harry leaned back in his chair, studying her. “A little. Didn’t take you for a Dostoevsky kind of girl.”
“And what kind of girl did you take me for?” she challenged.
He smirked. “Jane Austen, maybe. Brontë sisters, definitely. But Russian literature? That’s a surprise.”
She shrugged. “I like stories about lonely people.”
Something flickered in his expression, but it was gone too fast for her to catch.
“Lonely people,” he repeated. “And here I thought you just liked tragic love stories.”
Y/N hesitated, then said softly, “Aren’t they the same thing?”
Harry studied her for a moment, something unreadable in his gaze. Then, in a voice quieter than before, he said, “I guess they are.”
Silence settled between them again, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. If anything, it felt like something had shifted—like she had let him see a part of her she didn’t show to just anyone.
Then, after a moment, Harry’s lips twitched up into a smile. “So, is White Nights a re-read, or am I catching you in the middle of a first-time experience?”
She exhaled, grateful for the change in tone. “Re-read.”
His grin widened. “Interesting. That means you must really like it.”
She arched an eyebrow. “Are you about to judge my taste in books?”
Harry smirked. “Not at all. I was actually going to say… maybe I should let you convince me to read it.”
Y/N studied him. “You’ve never read it?”
“Not yet,” he admitted.
A small smile played on her lips. “Maybe you should.”
Harry’s eyes sparkled. “Maybe I will.”
———
That night, her phone buzzed.
A message from an unknown number.
Unknown [9:07 PM]: So, lonely people, huh? Convince me why I should read White Nights.
Y/N frowned, staring at the screen. Who the hell—?
Y/N [9:08 PM]: Who is this?
A pause. Then—
Unknown [9:08 PM]: Wow. That hurts.
Her heart skipped.
She squinted at the message, then at the number, but it wasn’t saved in her contacts.
Y/N [9:09 PM]: Seriously. Who is this??
A few seconds passed before a reply popped up.
Unknown [9:09 PM]: It’s Harry.
She blinked.
Then—
Y/N [9:10 PM]: …How did you get my number?
Harry [9:11 PM]: Your lovely roommate gave it to me.
Y/N groaned out loud. “Charlotte!”
Across the room, Charlotte barely glanced up from her laptop. “Hmm?”
Y/N waved her phone in the air. “Did you seriously give Harry my number?”
Charlotte smirked. “Oh. So he finally texted you?”
“Charlotte.”
“What?” she said innocently. “He asked, and I figured it would take you forever to do it yourself.”
Y/N let out a long, dramatic sigh, turning her attention back to the screen.
Y/N [9:12 PM]: I hate you.
Harry [9:12 PM]: No, you don’t.
She rolled her eyes.
Y/N [9:13 PM]: Maybe you should read it and see for yourself.
Harry [9:14 PM]: Bold of you to assume I have time for Russian literature.
Y/N [9:15 PM]: Bold of you to assume I’d let you borrow my copy.
Harry [9:16 PM]: So possessive. I like it.
Y/N [9:17 PM]: You’re impossible.
Harry [9:17 PM]: And yet, here you are, still texting me.
She bit her lip, trying not to smile.
Harry [9:18 PM]: You still good for our not-date movie night?
Y/N’s stomach flipped.
Y/N [9:19 PM]: You mean the highly academic film screening of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days?
Harry [9:20 PM]: Exactly. For research purposes.
She hesitated, fingers hovering over the screen.
Y/N [9:21 PM]: Yeah. I’m still in.
His reply came almost instantly.
Harry [9:21 PM]: Good.
She stared at the word for a long time, ignoring the way her face felt impossibly warm.
———
“You’ve checked your phone three times in the last minute.”
Y/N shot Charlotte a glare from across the room. “I have not.”
Charlotte smirked, finishing the last touches of her makeup. “You so have.”
Y/N huffed, locking her phone and tossing it onto the bed like that would somehow make her friend drop the topic. “I’m just checking the time.”
“Mm-hmm.” Charlotte turned, arms crossed. “Because, of course, it has nothing to do with the fact that Harry is coming over.”
Y/N rolled her eyes, but her face felt warm. “It’s just a movie night.”
Charlotte grinned. “And yet, you’ve changed your sweater twice.”
Y/N groaned, flopping back onto her pillows. “I hate you.”
“No, you don’t.” Charlotte grabbed her bag, checking her reflection in the mirror. “I think it’s cute that you’re all flustered over him.”
“I’m not flustered.”
Charlotte raised a brow. “You are so flustered.”
Y/N groaned again, covering her face with a pillow.
A knock at the door made her sit up way too fast.
Charlotte smirked knowingly. “That’s my cue.”
Y/N watched as Charlotte opened the door, revealing Harry—standing there in his usual effortless way, glasses on, a bag of snacks in one hand.
“Oh, hey, Harry,” Charlotte greeted with a grin, throwing Y/N one last look. “I was just leaving.”
Harry glanced between them, looking mildly amused. “Leaving?”
“Yep.” Charlotte winked at Y/N. “Have fun.”
And before Y/N could even form a reply, she was gone.
Harry stepped inside, brow raised. “Did I just interrupt something?”
Y/N exhaled, shaking her head. “No. She’s just being Charlotte.”
Harry chuckled, setting the snacks down. “That explains a lot.”
Settling onto the couch, Y/N pressed play on 27 Dresses, tucking her legs under her.
Harry sat beside her, stretching his arm along the back of the couch. The space between them was small—too small—and she tried not to focus on the way his knee almost brushed hers.
“Have you seen this before?” he asked.
She scoffed. “Please. At least twenty times.”
Harry smiled. “Figures.”
For the first half hour, they made occasional comments about the movie—Harry teasing her about knowing all the lines, Y/N defending why it was a romcom classic.
But eventually, the room grew quieter. The soft glow of the screen cast shadows across Harry’s face, highlighting the curve of his jaw, the way his glasses slid down his nose.
And Y/N—despite her best efforts to stay focused on the film—felt her eyelids growing heavy.
She shifted slightly, trying to stay awake, but the warmth of the room, the steady sound of the dialogue, and the presence of Harry right beside her made it impossible.
At some point, she leaned just a little too far to the side—
And before she could stop herself, her head landed gently on his shoulder.
For a second, she almost panicked.
But Harry didn’t move. Didn’t pull away.
If anything, he relaxed.
She felt him shift slightly, adjusting so that she fit more comfortably against him.
And just like that, sleep took over.
———
The next morning, the first thing Y/N registered was warmth.
A slow, steady warmth surrounding her, lulling her in a sleepy haze.
Then, she felt movement.
Her eyes fluttered open, and it took her a moment to realize:
She was curled into Harry’s side, his arm draped loosely around her shoulders.
The snack bag was on the floor. The TV screen had long since gone black. The early morning light was filtering through the blinds, casting soft shadows across the room.
And Harry—
Was still asleep.
His head rested against the back of the couch, lips slightly parted, curls falling across his forehead. His glasses were slightly askew, one arm still tucked around her like it was the most natural thing in the world.
Y/N barely breathed.
She should move. Should sit up, stretch, do anything to break the moment before he woke up.
But before she could, she felt him shift.
A slow inhale. A stretch.
And then, with a small frown, Harry’s eyes blinked open.
For a second, he looked confused. Disoriented.
Then, his gaze landed on her.
They both froze.
Silence.
Neither of them moved. Neither of them spoke.
And then—
Harry’s lips twitched, still laced with sleep. “Morning.”
Y/N swallowed. “Morning.”
Another pause.
Then, realization dawned in Harry’s sleepy eyes. He glanced down at their position—her body still tucked into his side, his arm still loosely wrapped around her.
And yet—he didn’t move away.
Instead, his mouth curved into something softer.
“Didn’t mean to steal your couch,” he murmured.
Y/N huffed out a quiet laugh. “Didn’t mean to steal your shoulder.”
Harry smiled.
And for a moment, they just… sat there.
Close. Warm. Unmoving.
Y/N was still sitting on the couch, trying to process the fact that she’d just spent the night curled up against Harry Styles, when she heard him stretch beside her.
She glanced over. His eyes were still heavy with sleep, one hand running through his curls, the other adjusting his glasses.
And he looked… way too good for someone who had just woken up.
Before she could stop herself, she spoke.
“Do you—” She cleared her throat, trying to sound casual. “Do you want some coffee?”
Harry turned to her, blinking.
Then, the corner of his mouth lifted.
“Are you offering me coffee, Y/N?”
She rolled her eyes, standing up. “I regret it already.”
Harry chuckled, pushing himself up from the couch. “Too late.”
———
They ended up in the small dorm kitchen, Y/N fumbling with the coffee machine while Harry leaned against the counter, watching her with amusement.
“I didn’t peg you as the type to function without caffeine,” he said.
She scoffed. “Who says I function at all?”
Harry smirked. “Fair point.”
Once the coffee was ready, she handed him a mug, grabbing one for herself before hopping up onto the counter.
Harry took a slow sip, humming in approval. “Not bad.”
Y/N raised a brow. “Not bad?”
“Yeah.” He nudged her knee playfully. “Could be better.”
She gasped in mock offense. “You are such a snob.”
Harry grinned. “I have high standards.”
She shook her head, but she was smiling.
They fell into comfortable conversation, talking about everything from classes to 27 Dresses to how Harry apparently had a very strong opinion about the correct way to make tea.
And Y/N—despite the fact that she had woken up to a situation that should have been extremely awkward—found herself relaxing.
That was, of course, until Charlotte walked in.
She stopped in the doorway, taking in the sight before her—Harry standing in the kitchen, hair still tousled from sleep, drinking coffee from their mugs.
Y/N sitting on the counter, wearing the same clothes from last night.
Charlotte’s eyes widened.
Then, a slow smirk spread across her face.
“Oh,” she said, drawing out the word. “Good morning.”
Y/N groaned. “Charlotte—”
Charlotte ignored her, turning to Harry with an exaggerated expression of surprise. “Wow, Harry. You’re still here?”
Harry, to Y/N’s horror, grinned.
“Apparently, I make decent company, and your couch is not too bad” he said, sipping his coffee.
Charlotte gasped dramatically. “Did Y/N let you sleep on the couch? That is so rude.”
Y/N narrowed her eyes. “Charlotte.”
Charlotte pressed a hand to her heart. “I mean, I was gone all night, you totally could’ve used my bed—”
Y/N almost choked on her coffee. “Oh my God, stop.”
Charlotte just smirked, eyes dancing between them. “I’m just saying…”
Y/N glared. “You’re the worst.”
Harry chuckled, setting down his mug. “I should probably get going before Mason starts wondering where I am.”
He turned to Y/N then, a flicker of something unreadable in his gaze.
“Thanks for the coffee,” he murmured.
She swallowed. “Yeah. Anytime.”
Charlotte wiggled her eyebrows.
Y/N shot her a warning look.
Harry—completely amused—grabbed his bag and made his way to the door.
“See you later, Y/N.”
And with that, he was gone.
Y/N barely had time to let out a breath before Charlotte pounced.
“So.”
Y/N sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. “Don’t.”
Charlotte ignored her, flopping onto the couch with a wicked grin. “You slept together.”
“Oh my God—”
“Not like that,” Charlotte amended. “But still. You slept together.”
Y/N groaned. “It wasn’t a big deal.”
Charlotte scoffed. “Oh, honey. It so was.”
———
Y/N had spent the entire morning convincing herself that nothing had changed.
That waking up next to Harry hadn’t felt different.
That the way he had smiled at her over coffee hadn’t made her stomach flip.
That she wasn’t replaying every second of their time together like some lovesick idiot.
But she was failing—miserably.
And Charlotte wasn’t helping.
“So,” her roommate drawled, flipping through a magazine on her bed, “are we just gonna pretend that last night never happened?”
Y/N, sitting at her desk, sighed. “Nothing happened.”
Charlotte scoffed. “You cuddled on the couch, made him coffee in the morning, and practically gazed at each other the whole time. That’s something.”
Y/N turned to glare at her. “I wasn’t gazing.”
Charlotte smirked. “Oh, honey. You were gazing.”
Y/N groaned, dropping her head onto her desk.
Charlotte laughed, tossing the magazine aside. “Look, all I’m saying is—he’s different, isn’t he?”
Y/N frowned. “What do you mean?”
Charlotte shrugged. “I mean, I’ve never seen you act like this over a guy. You usually keep your distance, but with Harry… I don’t know. You let him in.”
Y/N opened her mouth to protest—but nothing came out.
Because, as much as she hated to admit it, Charlotte wasn’t wrong.
Harry was different.
And that was what scared her the most.
———
That afternoon, she tried to focus on studying.
Tried being the keyword.
She was in the library, sitting at her usual spot by the window, but the words on the page blurred together.
Her phone buzzed.
She glanced at it, already knowing who it was.
Harry [3:27 PM]: You’re not skipping the library today, are you?
Y/N [3:28 PM]: I’m literally here right now.
Harry [3:29 PM]: Good. Would’ve had to question your commitment to academia otherwise.
She rolled her eyes, but a smile tugged at her lips.
A minute later, she heard a chair scrape against the floor.
She looked up.
Harry slid into the seat across from her, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
“Hi,” he said, smiling.
Y/N tried to ignore the way her heartbeat definitely sped up. “Hi.”
He set down his bag and pulled out a book. “What are we studying today?”
Y/N sighed. “I’m trying to get through this reading, but it’s not working.”
Harry leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand. “Do you want me to quiz you?”
She raised an eyebrow. “You just got here.”
He smirked. “And?”
She shook her head, amused. “Fine.”
And so, they studied. Or at least, they tried.
Every time Harry read a passage aloud, he did it with exaggerated dramatics, making Y/N laugh.
Whenever she got an answer right, he’d tap his fingers against the table like a drumroll.
At some point, he reached for her book, fingers grazing hers—and neither of them pulled away.
The touch was brief, but her skin tingled where it had been.
Harry didn’t say anything, but his gaze flickered to hers, something unspoken lingering between them.
For the first time, Y/N felt like she was on the edge of something.
And she didn’t know whether to step forward—or run.
———
An hour later, Y/N packed up her things.
“I should go,” she murmured.
Harry nodded, but there was something unreadable in his eyes. “Alright.”
She hesitated before speaking. “Thanks for—y’know. Keeping me sane.”
Harry’s lips quirked. “Anytime.”
As she turned to leave, he called after her
“Oh, Y/N?”
She glanced over her shoulder. “Yeah?”
Harry reached into his bag, pulling out a book.
She frowned as he held it out to her.
“The Symposium?” she read aloud, eyebrows raised.
Harry smirked. “Figured you might like it.”
She stared at him. “Harry, this is your copy.”
He shrugged. “So?”
“So, I know you annotate all your books.” She flipped through the pages, confirming her suspicions—his familiar, neat handwriting filled the margins. “I can’t take this.”
“You can,” he said simply. “And you will.”
She glanced up at him, confused. “But… why?”
Harry held her gaze for a moment, then leaned in slightly.
“Because I think you’ll understand it,” he murmured.
Y/N’s breath caught.
Because there was weight behind his words—something deeper than just a casual book recommendation.
She swallowed, gripping the book a little tighter.
“…Thank you,” she said softly.
Harry smiled. “See you later, Y/N.”
And as she walked away, The Symposium pressed against her chest, she couldn’t shake the feeling that something had shifted.
That, maybe, she had just crossed a line she could never go back from.
———
The night wrapped around them like a quiet secret. The streets were nearly empty, the world softened by the golden glow of streetlamps.
Y/N and Harry walked side by side, their steps unhurried, as if neither of them wanted the night to end just yet.
She wasn’t sure how they ended up here—how a simple goodnight after studying turned into do you want to take a walk? But she didn’t regret saying yes.
It had been a week since that night at her apartment, since they’d woken up together on the couch, and things between them had shifted. Not in an obvious way—there were no declarations, no grand confessions—but something had changed.
Harry had always looked at her like he was intrigued. But now?
Now, he looked at her like he knew. Like he was just waiting for her to admit it, too.
“You’re quiet,” Harry murmured beside her.
She glanced at him. “So are you.”
He smiled, a little crooked. “Guess I don’t always have something to say.”
“Impossible.”
He chuckled, shaking his head. “Harsh.”
They walked a little further before she spoke again, a quiet admission in the stillness of the night.
“I read your notes.”
Harry turned his head slightly. “My notes?”
“In The Symposium.”
Realization flickered in his expression. “Right.”
She hesitated. “There was one part that stuck with me.”
His gaze softened. “Which one?”
Y/N swallowed.
“The part where you wrote that love is about recognizing something familiar in someone else.”
Harry didn’t speak right away.
Then, quietly, he said, “That’s my favorite part.”
Y/N stopped walking.
So did he.
The silence between them stretched, heavy with something.
She could feel her pulse thrumming in her wrists, in her throat, in the space between them that was growing smaller by the second.
Harry took a step closer. Slowly. Like he was giving her time to stop him.
She didn’t.
His gaze flickered to her lips, just for a second, before meeting her eyes again.
His voice was softer when he spoke next. “You realize I like you, don’t you?”
Y/N felt something tighten in her chest.
Because, of course, she did.
But hearing it—feeling it—was different.
She exhaled, barely a whisper. “I think I do now.”
Harry tilted his head slightly, a small smile tugging at his lips. “Good.”
He didn’t move right away.
He just looked at her, taking her in, like he was memorizing the moment.
Then, so softly it was almost imperceptible, his fingers brushed against hers.
Y/N inhaled sharply.
And that was all it took.
Before she could second-guess it, before she could talk herself out of it, she closed the space between them.
She barely had time to process the warmth of his skin, the steady rise and fall of his breath, before his hand came up, fingers grazing her jaw as he leaned in—slow, careful, waiting.
And then—
Then, he kissed her.
It was soft at first. Just a whisper of a touch, a silent question against her lips.
But the moment she kissed him back, the moment her fingers curled into the fabric of his sweater, it changed.
It deepened.
Harry let out a quiet sound—like he had been waiting for this longer than he cared to admit—and then his hands were on her waist, pulling her closer, closer, like the space between them was unbearable.
Her heart was racing.
She could feel the warmth of his palms, the faint scrape of his stubble against her skin, the way he kissed her like he was learning her—like he wanted to know exactly how she fit against him.
And she let him.
By the time they pulled apart, her head was spinning, her breath uneven.
Harry’s forehead rested against hers, and he let out a quiet laugh.
“What?” she asked, still breathless.
He shook his head, smiling. “Nothing. Just… glad I finally did that.”
She bit her lip, trying—and failing—not to smile.
“Me too.”
Harry’s thumb brushed against her waist absentmindedly.
“Can I walk you home?” he asked.
Y/N nodded.
But neither of them moved.
Not right away.
And when they finally started walking again, Harry’s fingers found hers, intertwining them effortlessly—like they had been waiting to do that, too.
———
It had only been a couple of weeks since that night—their first kiss under the dim glow of the streetlights—but things between them had changed so much.
Not in an overwhelming way. Not in a way that made Y/N feel rushed or pressured.
But in a way that made her soften.
In a way that made it impossible to ignore how utterly smitten Harry was.
It was in the way he always found a reason to touch her, even in the smallest ways—fingertips brushing against hers when they walked, absentmindedly tucking her hair behind her ear when she was focused on something, resting his chin on her shoulder just because he could.
It was in the way he remembered things, like how she liked her coffee and how she hated the sound of loud chewing. In the way he always waited for her outside class even when they had different schedules. In the way he looked at her, like he was always choosing to.
Like he couldn’t believe she was real.
Today was no different.
Y/N sat curled up on the library couch, actually trying to get some work done, while Harry sat beside her, flipping through a book he had absolutely no interest in.
At least, that’s what she assumed—because instead of reading, he was staring at her.
She sighed, setting her pen down. “Harry.”
“Hm?” He looked unbothered, too comfortable as he rested his head against the back of the couch.
“You’re doing it again.”
“Doing what?”
She shot him a pointed look.
He smirked, unfazed. “Looking at my girlfriend?”
Her stomach flipped.
Even after two weeks, the word still did something to her.
She rolled her eyes, but her cheeks were warm, and Harry knew it.
With a quiet chuckle, he reached for her hand and intertwined their fingers, absentmindedly running his thumb across the back of her palm.
“Should I be studying?” he murmured, lips twitching.
She nodded. “Yes.”
Harry pretended to consider it. Then, with zero hesitation, he squeezed her hand and dragged it to his lips, pressing a soft kiss against her knuckles.
“Too bad,” he murmured against her skin.
Y/N’s breath hitched.
This boy.
She was so doomed.
———
Y/N had tried to keep things subtle.
Not because she wanted to hide it, but because Charlotte was the biggest menace when it came to teasing her, and she wasn’t sure she was ready for that just yet.
Too bad Charlotte noticed everything.
Like the way Y/N smiled at her phone when she thought no one was looking. The way she suspiciously left the dorm at night with an “I’ll be back later.” The way she got flustered when Harry’s name came up in conversation.
She had her suspicions, but she didn’t have proof.
Until now.
Because today, as Charlotte was walking toward the dorm, she saw them.
Saw Harry pressing a lingering kiss to Y/N’s forehead. Saw the way she leaned into him, like it was the most natural thing in the world.
And that was all she needed.
“I KNEW IT!”
Y/N jumped, turning to find Charlotte standing a few feet away with the biggest, most victorious grin on her face.
“Oh my God,” Y/N muttered.
Harry—who clearly wasn’t fazed at all—simply raised an eyebrow. “Did you, though?”
Charlotte turned to him, still grinning. “YES. I just didn’t have evidence.” She turned back to Y/N, wiggling her eyebrows. “But now I do.”
Y/N groaned, covering her face with her hands. “I hate you.”
“No, you don’t,” Charlotte sing-songed.
Harry chuckled, amused, before leaning down and whispering into Y/N’s ear, “I’ll leave you to it, sweetheart.”
She sighed dramatically. “Coward.”
He smirked, kissed the side of her head one last time, and walked away, leaving her to deal with Charlotte’s relentless interrogation.
Y/N was so in trouble.
———
After an hour of being mercilessly teased, Y/N flopped onto her bed, groaning in frustration.
Charlotte smirked from across the room. “Oh, come on, you love me.”
“Debatable,” Y/N muttered, reaching for her phone.
She scrolled through her messages before typing.
Y/N [10:08 PM]: I officially hate you.
Harry [10:09 PM]: That’s unfortunate.
Y/N [10:09 PM]: Charlotte won’t stop teasing me. This is your fault.
Harry [10:10 PM]: Guess I’ll just have to make it up to you, won’t I?
Y/N froze, rereading the message at least three times.
Before she could even think of a response, there was a quiet knock on the door.
Charlotte and Y/N shared a look.
Y/N opened it—and there he was.
Harry stood there, a lazy smirk on his lips, holding a small pastry in a white paper bag.
“Hey,” he murmured.
Y/N blinked.
Charlotte—who was watching the whole thing unfold—snorted. “Oh, my God. You are so whipped.”
Harry didn’t even deny it.
He just shrugged, handed Y/N the bag, and kissed her temple like it was the most normal thing in the world.
When she looked inside, she found her favorite pastry, the one from the café across campus.
She looked back up at him, eyes soft. “You went all the way to—“
Harry simply shrugged. “Felt like it”
Y/N pressed her lips together, trying not to melt right then and there.
Charlotte, however, had no such restraint. “You two are disgusting”, she muttered, rolling her eyes before dramatically throwing a pillow over her head.
Harry chuckled, then leaned down and whispered against Y/N’s skin, “Worth it.”
And just like that, Y/N knew—
She was so, so screwed.

I adjust my mic and glance at Kayla, who’s lounging comfortably against my pillows, setting up her recording equipment.
“So, let me get this straight,” I start, tilting my head at her. “You, Kayla Williams, decided that my dorm—my bed, specifically—was the best place to record this episode?”
Kayla smirks. “You act like this isn’t the most comfortable setup ever. It’s cozy, it’s intimate, it’s giving vibes. Plus, do you really think I was about to record in one of those stiff chairs in the common room? Be so for real.”
I shake my head, laughing. “You just didn’t wanna book a studio.”
“Correct.” She grins, popping a piece of gum into her mouth. “Now, get comfy, and let’s start—”
Before she can finish, my dorm door swings open, and in walks Paige.
Scratch that—drags herself in.
She looks exhausted, still in her practice gear, her low ponytail a little frizzy from sweat, and her duffle bag barely hanging onto her shoulder. She doesn’t say anything, just lets out a deep sigh and makes a beeline for my bed.
“Uh, hey?” I say, watching as she tosses her bag to the floor, taking her ponytail out and flops onto the mattress like she’s been carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders.
Without hesitation, she burrows into me, laying her head directly on my stomach, her arms loosely wrapping around my waist.
I blink down at her. “Paige?”
She hums in response but doesn’t move.
Kayla raises an eyebrow. “Yo, is she good?”
“She had morning practice,” I explain, running a hand through Paige’s locs. “Guess it wiped her out.”
Kayla snickers. “Nah, this is crazy. She didn’t even say hi.”
I poke Paige’s shoulder. “You good, baby?”
Paige nuzzles deeper into me, sighing. “Mhm.”
“Wanna move?”
“No.”
I glance at Kayla, who’s grinning like she’s witnessing something hilarious.
“Oh, she’s whipped,” Kayla says, adjusting her mic. “You sure you still wanna record? Your girl looks real comfortable.”
I glance down at Paige, who’s already breathing slower, her body completely relaxed against mine.
“She’ll be fine,” I say, settling back into the pillows. “If she’s tired enough to fall asleep while we talk for an hour, she probably needs the rest.”
Kayla shakes her head, still smirking. “Alright, your relationship is crazy soft, but let’s get into it.”
She presses record, and just like that, we start the episode.
—
Thirty minutes in, Paige hasn’t moved an inch.
She’s completely knocked out, her breath warm against my hoodie, her arms still lazily wrapped around me. Every now and then, she shifts, sighs, or tightens her grip, but for the most part, she’s dead to the world.
Kayla, of course, is having way too much fun with this.
“Okay, so what I’m gathering,” she says, pointing at Paige’s sleeping form, “is that you got this superstar, face-of-UConn-basketball, Paige Bueckers, so down bad that she literally needs to be on you to function properly?”
I roll my eyes. “She’s just tired.”
Kayla gives me a look. “Nah, see, I’ve known Paige for a while, and I ain’t never seen her like this with anyone else.”
I fight a smile, absentmindedly running my fingers through Paige’s hair. “She likes being close to me. Is that a crime?”
Kayla grins. “Not at all. It’s just hilarious how you try to act all nonchalant about it.” She leans toward the mic dramatically. “Y’all, let it be known that Paige Bueckers is a clingy girlfriend. Possibly the clingiest.”
I chuckle, shaking my head. “She’s not that clingy.”
Kayla gestures at Paige. “Bro. She fell asleep on you mid-podcast. You might as well get her a ‘Property of Y/N’ shirt at this point.”
I bite my lip to keep from laughing. “She does have a hoodie that says ‘Y/N’s Favorite.’”
Kayla howls. “Oh, nah! That’s crazy. Ain’t no way.”
I nod, grinning. “Got it for her last Valentine’s Day.”
Kayla wipes a fake tear. “This is beautiful. True love.”
I shake my head, still smiling as we move on to the next topic.
—
By the time we wrap up the episode, Paige is still dead asleep.
Kayla stretches, cracking her knuckles. “Alright, that’s a wrap. Great episode, and we got bonus content of you being the human equivalent of a teddy bear.”
I snort. “Glad I could provide entertainment.”
Kayla stands, gathering her stuff. “I gotta bounce, but good luck getting your girl off you.” She nudges Paige’s leg. “Yo, Bueckers, you alive?”
Paige groans, barely lifting her head. “Barely.”
Kayla smirks. “Your girl’s free now. You gonna let her move?”
Paige ignores her, instead snuggling back into me, her voice muffled against my hoodie. “No.”
Kayla cackles. “Yeah, I’m outta here.”
She gives me a knowing look before heading for the door. “Text me when you finally escape.”
I roll my eyes. “Bye, Kayla.”
Once she’s gone, I glance down at Paige, brushing a few stray locs out of her face. “You good, sleepyhead?”
Paige hums. “Better now.”
I smile. “You slept through my whole podcast, you know.”
She grins sleepily, eyes still closed. “Best nap I’ve ever had.”
I sigh, shaking my head. “You’re so spoiled.”
She finally cracks one eye open, looking up at me with that soft, lazy smile of hers. “By you? Absolutely.”
I can’t even argue with that. Instead, I kiss her forehead, letting her sink back into me.
She’s gonna be wide awake later, and I should make her get up soon.
But for now?
I let her stay exactly where she is.

I love you all immensely. Take care. 💖
You wouldn’t call it doom scrolling. That’s not what this is. You try not to search out the depressing headlines or the studies of the human character assuring you of your race’s inherent flaws. Yet, all those boastful posts about engagements, weddings, and promotions still make you feel crummy.
Jealous? Sure. You don’t have any of those things and it isn’t as if you can hope for as much, either. You’re in a dead-end job, living in cramped apartment with your sister and her irresponsible friend, and your romantic life is next to non-existent; not that you’ve been looking. None of that is meant for you, otherwise, you’d have had some glimmer of interest by now.
It’s like quicksand. Not very quick but it pulls you down lower and lower. Sinking and sinking until all you can see is the muck. There’s no way out now, you’re waist deep in it.
You click under your favourite communities and start a new post. You don’t make many. Mostly you read and judge silently. You’re a lurker. Like in many facets of your life. You watch, you don’t do. But you’ve had a shitty day and you need to just let it out.
Your fingers move as your thoughts boil in your head; your nagging manager, your lazy landlord, and your immature roommates. Nothing ever goes your way. Everyone else has it figured out and you’re just left to rot. You try! You do. Resumes, profiles on friendship apps, online courses; free, of course, it’s all you can afford, but you do try to improve yourself. It just doesn’t work.
You hit ‘post’ and close the lid of your ancient laptop. It’s as thick as a book. The battery doesn’t hold a charge and the fan is as loud as a jet. You fall back onto your bed and look around your tiny room. That’s all you have. This space is as much as you can call your own and not really. You rent it, it can be taken away with one of those red stamped notices.
You yawn and drag yourself up. A whole shift and you didn’t bother to have more than the bland break room coffee spewed from the off-brand pod machine and a couple sticks of gum. Tia got herself sushi before her shift but she can just ask her parents to send her money to cover her Door Dash addiction.
You plod out to the kitchen. Your sister closes the fridge and cracks the tab of a beer can. You’re sure it isn’t her first.
“I didn’t hear you come in,” Shea bobbles her head.
Funny since Donna pretty much hollered at you for interrupting her TV show. You all pitched in on the flat screen yet it’s never your turn with it. You shrug and go to the cupboard. It’s not sushi but the spicy shrimp ramen isn’t too bad...
“You work?” You ask.
“Pfft, no. Didn’t I say I was going to lunch with Mason?”
“Did you?” You take down at bowl. She probably did. You never remember. She’s always got a date or a party or a fall back. If she can’t make rent, she’ll smile a cute guy and get some money.
“He bought me some shoes! You’ll never believe.”
“Right,” you try not to seethe.
You’re scraping the bottom of the barrel. You’re eating sodium-laced noodles and holding back tears against old people wanting to print out their life story from a corrupt PDF. She’s pretty. She doesn’t have to try. Shea is all the proof you need that some people are just lucky.
You put the electric kettle onto boil and the smell of burnt—something makes your lip curl. You pop the lid and look inside. It’s brown. What the hell?
“What’s wrong with this?” You ask as you flip off the switch.
“Donna!” Shea yells, “what did you do to the kettle?” No answer. Your sister hollers again.
A door swings open and Donna stomps out with a huff. Her face is green as she has a mask spread over it and eye masks pasted beneath her lashes.
“I’m getting ready--”
“The kettle stinks,” you reach for a pot and find none. They’re all stacked and waiting to be washed. You snatch one off the top and flip on the faucet.
“Oh, I heated up some bone broth in it. I’m doing a cleanse,” she smirks. “Tasted kinda weird.”
“Bone broth?” You scoff. See. You try, they can’t even clean dishes. “Great.”
“I’m sure it’s fine, just rinse it out,” Shea says.
You scrub the pan and ignore her. You glance up as she slurps noisily from the can. Pre-drinks. Her and Donna are going out. Again. They can afford to because they don’t buy their own drinks. They don’t need to. You went out with them once and paid for all of your own, even though you’d have been happy enough with a single round.
“Have fun,” you dry out the pan and slam it on the burner.
“Jeez, maybe you should loosen up?” Donna chides.
“Yeah, come with us. Dance it out,” Shea drawls.
“No thanks,” you twist the knob and light the burner. “I have work tomorrow.”
“Call innnnn,” Shea insists.
“I can’t,” you sniff and step back to wait for the water to boil.
“Boring,” she chirps.
“Yep, I am,” you cross your arms. Your annoyed. When the go out, you’ll have to clean up this mess. You can’t handle another bout of fruit flies.
You put the noodles in and let them soften. You stir in the oil and powder then retreat to your room with the bowl of boiling cholesterol. You let it cool and put a video on your phone. You don’t want to think.
You eat deliberately. You savour the processed flavouring. You can’t go out sneak a midnight snack; Donna ate all your cookies. You label all your stuff in thick marker and she apparently can’t read.
You hear them leave. They’re loud. They leave the television on. At high volume.
You go out and shut it off. You need to sleep soon. Opening always comes after a late shift. Otherwise, how else would the corporation keep you disempowered.
You open your laptop. You’ll but on some lo-fi while you charge your phone. Heck, the fan is like white noise on its own.
The little red number at the bottom of the page stops you. You left the browser open. Someone actually responded to your post. You click and your stomach drops as you read the first sentence.
‘Sounds like you cause a lot of your own problems. Maybe try some mindful exercises and get out more. You should also consider making some friends.’
You read it over and over. You’re angry. Hurt, too. But most that first thing. You can’t stop from replying.
‘You got all that from me venting? I wasn’t asking for advice. I walk to and from work and I have friends.’
It’s mostly true. You do walk. Most days. And your sister is a friend, isn’t she? By association, so is Donna.
Before you can look up your favourite twelve-hour lo-fi, another notification pops up.
‘Looking at your post history, your diet could use some improvements. More veggies. And walking is a good starting point but you need to increase your endorphins. I’d be happy to send you some helpful guides. They’re easily searchable on the internet. We live in the age of information, you should consider taking advantage of that.’
Wow, what an asshole. He’s smug and obviously better than you. You click on his username and scroll through. Just as you expect. He posts in fitness communities. Not any videos of him but sharing tutorials and recipes for high-protein smoothies and fibre-laced juices. He wouldn’t know flavour if it puked in his mouth.
You his ‘esc’ and go back to your own post; ‘thanks for the advice. Have a good one.;
That’s it. You’re not arguing with some faceless douche on the internet. His response is as quick as the first.
‘A helpful link.’ He hyperlinks the words. ‘You should at least stretch in the morning and go outside on your breaks at work. You might work long shifts but it’s no excuse to be lazy. If you’ve been in that role for so long, you should have more than enough references to move on to something that doesn’t make you miserable.’
You don’t answer. You know if you do, you’ll just embarrass yourself. Judging by the few pics of his real life and his cadence, he’s got everything. He just thinks it’s a matter of mindset. There can’t possibly be anything else which could make things more difficult for people. You just don’t work hard enough. Duh, everyone always says so.
You close out of the page. If he replies again, you’ll block him. Simple as. You put on a lo-fi track and dim the screen. You roll over and tuck into bed. You fall asleep in a ball of stress; you have to wake up, shower, do all that human stuff, then make yourself face another eight hours of hell.
⭐
“I hate working at the fucking copy desk,” you hiss as you take your bag from the cubby in the break room. “Good luck.”
Darcy gives you a look as she sits at one of the tables, waiting for her shift to start. You grit your teeth as you should your purse and grip your jacket tight. You punch your employee number into the clock then head out.
As you march down the aisle of toner, a customer tries to stop you. “I’m off duty.”
“But I need a keyboard.”
You ignore them and keep going.
“I’m going to tell a manager, young lady!”
You don’t care. Besides, why are they looking for a keyboard in the toner aisle. The signs above with the giant letters clearly show that the computer accessories are in the opposite corner.
People are stupid. They might be able to read, technically, but they definitely lack comprehension. Just like Donna who can’t keep her hands off your snacks.
You walk home in a simmer. If you let your temper get away from you, you won’t be able to hold back when you walk into the inevitable shit show waiting for you at home. Shea and Donna hungover, probably having got into more of your sparse groceries, and amidst a brand new mess for you to tidy. You won’t not this time.
You have a mission. Go to your room and don’t come out.
As you enter your building, you find the elevator non-responsive. A tiny post-it is stuck to the doors. ‘Out of Order’. Couldn’t have made something a bit more legible?
You take the stairs. The hallway smells like onion and dirty clothes. You take out your keys as you get to your door, ignoring the rabble coming from the apartment next to yours. Before you can get your key in the slot, the door opens.
“Heyyyy, she’s back,” Shea greets. You blink at her in confusion. Is she already drunk again?
“Starting already?” You ask as you try to get past her.
“Hm, no,” she says tritely, “you have a guest.”
You roll your eyes, “don’t be a bitch, alright?”
“No, really,” she grins. You stop and look her up and down. She isn’t falling apart like usual after a Friday night. Her hair is done, her makeup too, and she’s not in her sweats.
“Is it mom?” You whisper.
She snorts, “you’re stupid. No, it’s your friend. Steve.” She backs up with a shimmy, “I think some people call him Captain.”
You make a face. What?
“Who...”
“Ahem,” a figure appears by the corner of the kitchen counter, “I didn’t mean to intrude.”
You crane to see over Shea’s shoulder. The man behind her is tall. And familiar. Steve Rogers. Your expression contorts as your lashes flutter in confusion.
“Not at all, Stevie,” Shea spins, “I’ll give you two the room. So nice to meet you.”
She squeezes by him and touches his forearm as she does. He doesn’t react. She giggles and flits off. Her door shuts but you can tell that the latch didn’t catch. She’s listening.
“Should we go outside? Get some sun?” He asks.
You glance at him again. You’re lost.
“Do I know you?” You grimace.
“After all day under fluorescent, you should really get out--”
“I-- I’m sorry, can you slow down and explain--”
“Outside. Privately,” he says.
You peek past him then look into the hallway behind you. You search your mind for an explanation. The only place you know him from is the internet or a history book.
“Like I said before, going outside can really help with mood issues.”
You hesitate and your mouth falls open. It can’t be...
“Was that you? Last night?” You shake your head.
“How about I buy you a smoothie?” He offers.
You snap your mouth shut. He can’t be serious. This can’t be real.

omg i just thought about something
can you write about how rapper!chris and star are arguing over something reallyy stupid and none of them wanna apologize first, but chris can't sleep properly if they're angry at each other so he tries to talk with her before going to bed😔😔
they’re just so sweet and i need some angst 💔
⋆.˚✮ rapper!chris and singer!reader refuse to go to bed angry
you don’t even remember how it started. something about work. or maybe it was the aux cord in the car. it was dumb as fuck, you know that, but now you're both too deep into this silent battle of egos to back down.
chris is across the room, scrolling on his phone, sprawled out in a manspread on the couch. you're on his bed, curled up in his hoodie that still smells like his cologne, arms crossed, jaw tight.
the sleepover routine hasn’t changed—you're here, he's here—but the vibe is off. and you hate when the vibe is off.
he exhales loud as hell, like he wants you to notice. you pretend you don't, but then he does it again. dramatic dick.
"yo, you really gonna sleep mad at me?" his voice is all low and smooth, but there’s that little whiny edge to it, kinda like he's suffering. good.
you don't answer. you hear him toss his phone onto the nightstand with way too much force.
"nah, fuck that," he mutters, then suddenly, the king size bed dips as he flops down next to you, shaking the whole mattress. you don't move.
he sighs and shifts. then a finger pokes your arm. once. twice. three times.
"quit actin' like you sleepin'. i know you ain't asleep, ma."
you swat his hand away, but he just laughs. you can hear the smirk on his lips.
"so we really beefin' over some dumb shit?"
"you started it," you mumble quietly, your heart speeding up. you hate arguing with chris, yet you're so stubborn.
"you kept it goin'," he shoots back, rolling onto his side to face you. "and now we both look dumb as shit."
you hate when he makes sense.
he shifts closer, nudging your shoulder with his. "look, i know you’re probably sittin' here thinkin' all hard, stressin' yourself out over some shit that don’t even matter."
you glare at him. "i am not."
"you are," he says, huffing with a roll of his eyes. "bet you already planned three different ways to apologize, blamed yourself for the whole argument, and decided i secretly wanna leave you. don’t lie."
you look away, huffing, realizing he's right once again.
he groans and throws an arm over his face. "baby, i love you, but you gotta stop doin' that shit."
his words hit something soft in your chest. you swallow.
"i just don't like to be wrong," you admit, voice small, chewing the inside of your cheek.
he peeks at you from under his arm, grinning. "well, if we're bein' real, we're both wrong. so now we can stop actin' stupid and go to sleep."
you hesitate, shooting him a bratty glare, making him scoff out a chuckle.
"c'mooon," he coaxes, voice dipping into that playful, teasing tone that always makes you crack. "jus' say you sorry first. be the bigger person. show me how mature you are."
"you say it first," you whine, frowning like a small child.
"nah, ion do first," he says, flipping onto his back with a smirk. "i'm a rapper. got a reputation to uphold."
you roll your eyes, but he catches the way the corner of your mouth twitches. he sees his opening and goes straight for it.
next thing you know, he's rolling over, wrapping himself around you like a human blanket, his breath warm against your neck. "damn, you smell good," he mumbles. "all mad and cute and shit."
you groan. "chris—"
"shhh," he hums, tucking his face against your shoulder. "s'okay, i accept your apology."
"i didn't even apologize," you whine, frowning up at him as you squirm.
"you were thinkin' it, though. i could feel it. don't pull that stubborn shit, now."
you smack his arm, and he just laughs, holding you tighter. his warmth melts away the last bit of your stubbornness. fine. you did miss him.
"…whatever," you mumble, snuggling into his hoodie.
he presses a sloppy kiss to your cheek. "love you, kid," he mumbles against your skin.
you huff, giving in. "love you."
thank you for reading!! <3

𐔌 . ⋮ be my valentine? ♡ .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱
☓┆Third Years x gn! reader
𓏵 1026 words
ᝰ.ᐟ headcannons, no pronouns used, fluff, a bit ooc(?)
First Years are done! Second Years are done, too! feel free to like, reblog, or comment!
ᝰ.ᐟ masterlist
I think Cater would act like Valentine’s Day is just another excuse to flood Magicam with cute posts and aesthetic gifts. He’d play it off like it’s all for the fun of it, saying things like “Gotta keep up with the trends, y’know?” But deep down, he actually cares a lot about making the moment special for you.
His gift would be trendy and well-presented, maybe something sweet with a cute aesthetic, but if you look closer, there’s an extra personal touch—something that shows he actually put thought into your tastes. If you bring it up, he’ll wave it off with a playful grin, but there’s a rare moment of sincerity in his eyes.
"Aww, you really think so? Heh, well, I guess I did put a little extra effort into this one. Don’t get used to it, though! You’re just lucky I’m such a generous guy—ahaha!"
─────────────────────────
I think Trey wouldn’t make a big fuss about Valentine’s Day, but he’d definitely prepare something nice for you. He’s the type to keep things warm and genuine—no flashy gestures, just something that shows he cares.
His gift would probably be a homemade treat, something classic and comforting. He’d hand it to you with an easygoing smile, acting like it’s nothing special. But if you compliment his effort or say it means a lot to you, you might catch the faintest dusting of pink on his cheeks before he clears his throat and chuckles.
"Glad you like it. Don’t go expecting fancy things from me, though—this is just how I show appreciation. Besides, sweets always taste better when they’re shared, right?"
─────────────────────────
I think Leona would act like he couldn’t care less about Valentine’s Day. He’d scoff at the idea, calling it a “pointless holiday for lovesick herbivores.” But despite all his complaining, he still finds a way to acknowledge it—just in his own Leona way.
His version of a gift is low-effort on the surface, like tossing a small trinket or snack your way and mumbling, “Here. Don’t ask questions.” But it’s too perfect to be a coincidence—it’s exactly what you wanted or needed. And if you press him about it, he’ll groan, pretending to be annoyed, but his tail flicks behind him in amusement.
"Tch. You’re overthinking it. Just take it and don’t make a big deal out of it… Hah? Smirking at me like that—what, you want me to spell it out for you? Keep dreaming, herbivore."
─────────────────────────
I think Vil would treat Valentine’s Day as a day of refined elegance. He’s not interested in cheap, over-commercialized romance, but he does believe in meaningful gestures done correctly. If he gives you a gift, it’s going to be high-quality, well-thought-out, and suited perfectly to your tastes.
He presents it to you with effortless grace, watching your reaction with quiet satisfaction. If you gush over it or tell him he’s being too generous, he’ll smirk and tilt his chin up, as if to say “Well, of course.” But there’s something softer in his gaze, something unspoken yet sincere.
"Naturally, only the best will do. Did you really think I’d give you anything less? Hmph. It would be embarrassing if my significant other had poor taste, after all."
─────────────────────────
I think Rook would treat Valentine’s Day like a grand performance. He wouldn’t just give you a gift—he’d turn the entire experience into something poetic, dramatic, and entirely him. You’d probably receive a beautifully wrapped present along with a handwritten letter overflowing with romantic prose.
His excitement is impossible to contain, and if you get flustered, he only leans in closer, drinking in your reaction with an adoring smile. There’s no need to question how much he cares—he makes it very clear.
"Ah! The look of delight upon your face is a sight more dazzling than a thousand sunsets! Mon trésor, it brings me endless joy to bestow upon you this humble offering of my affections! Ahaha! Do not look away—your blush is exquisite!"
─────────────────────────
I think Idia would panic at the thought of Valentine’s Day. He’d overthink it so much that he’d almost consider ghosting you until it was over. But after an entire night of agonizing over what to do, he’d finally settle on something—probably an item related to your interests, carefully selected after hours of research.
Of course, he’d struggle to actually give it to you. He’d probably send it through Ortho or leave it somewhere with an awkward note. And if you dare bring up how sweet it is, he’ll go into full meltdown mode.
"I-It’s not a big deal, okay?! It’s not like I stayed up all night picking it out or anything—ahaha—oh, Great Seven, this is so cringe, I wanna bury myself alive!"
─────────────────────────
I think Malleus would find Valentine’s Day fascinating. It’s a human tradition he’s never properly experienced, but once he learns about it, he takes it very seriously. He approaches it like an ancient ritual—deeply thoughtful, highly ceremonial, and just a little too intense.
His gift is something extravagant—maybe a rare artifact, an ornate piece of jewelry, or something imbued with a hint of his magic. He presents it with all the solemnity of a king bestowing a royal favor. If you tell him he didn’t need to go all out, he looks genuinely puzzled.
"Why would I not? This is a day to express deep affection, is it not? A mere trinket would not suffice for one as precious to me as you."
─────────────────────────
I think Lilia would be completely unpredictable about Valentine’s Day. One year, he might go all out with the most extravagant (and mildly terrifying) gestures—singing dramatic love ballads outside your window at 3 AM. The next, he might hand you something utterly chaotic, like homemade food of highly questionable origin.
But beneath all his mischief, there’s sincerity. If he gives you a genuine gift, it’s something deeply personal—maybe an old keepsake with sentimental value or a charm infused with protective magic. And if you call him out on how sweet he’s being, he only grins.
"Fufufu! Did I surprise you? Valentine’s Day is so much fun! Now, come, my dear—shall we dance under the moonlight, or shall I prepare another culinary experiment for you?"

⋆✮ Pile I
"I have so many feelings for you, but I don’t know how to handle it."
These cards are laid out in front of me, and whew—the energy is giving emotional confusion and major mixed signals. Like, imagine someone typing out a long-ass paragraph to send to you, deleting it, and then hitting you with a dry "hey" instead. That’s the vibe we’re working with here. typical situationship situation. There’s this undeniable connection between you two—the kind which makes yalll like, "what are we?" . But The World Reversed tells me they feel like something between you is incomplete or not quite where it should be. Maybe y’all had a near miss, an almost-relationship, or things just never fully clicked into place the way they were supposed to. OR—they’re still caught up in past issues, cycles, or even other people who are messing with their perception of this connection. And then—BOOM—the Queen of Swords Reversed—This person sees you as intelligent, sharp, and perceptive, but also a bit intimidating. They might feel like if they were to step to you, they’d have to bring their absolute A-game because you don’t fall for weak, half-hearted energy. (And tbh, they’re lowkey scared of getting called out if they’re moving weird). They could also think you’re a bit distant or hard to read at times—like, do you actually like them back, or are you just naturally that cool? (Spoiler: they’re dying to know).
Okay, but what’s holding them back? The Five of Cups is coming in here , showing that this person is stuck in regret, sadness, or some kind of emotional baggage that’s stopping them from moving forward with you. If this is an ex or a situationship, they definitely still think about you, but they’re too caught up in the "what went wrong" instead of focusing on "what could go right." I just feel like this spread is mainly for people who are stuck in a situationship or are pondering over an ex. So yeah, they feel something deep and nostalgic for you, whether you’ve known each other forever or not. They might replay certain memories, old conversations, or even compare new people they meet to you—because you set a standard, babe. There’s something pure about how they feel toward you, even if their emotions are a hot mess express. They might fantasize about simpler times between you two, or even wonder if there’s a way to rekindle or repair things if you’ve grown apart. They feel drawn to you in a way they can’t ignore. You’re on their mind more than they’ll ever admit (probably even to themselves).
At this point, it’s their move. Will they break free from their past and step toward you? Or will they keep living in the land of "what ifs" and "almost"

˙⋆✮ Pile II
"They are literally perfect, I’m obsessed."
Like, this person thinks about you way more than they probably should. Your person doesn’t just think of you in passing—nah, you stick in their brain like a catchy song they can’t get rid of. There’s something fated about this connection in their mind (Wheel of Fortune is SCREAMING destiny vibes, and especially when I RARELY get this card in my spreads so you just KNOW). Whether they admit it or not, they feel like you’re significant in some way. They don’t know why, they don’t know how, but the thought of you feels important—like a turning point in their life, even if nothing has happened between you two yet. But here’s where it gets messy (and a little spicy). The Judgement card is staring me in the face like 👁️👄👁️, and I’m telling you right now, your person sees you as someone who forces them to self-reflect. You’re triggering something deep in them. This person sees you as someone who’s put together, maybe even out of their league. You give off an "I know who I am, and I don’t settle for less" vibe—even if you don’t feel that way inside, that’s what they’re perceiving. They might assume you have high standards that makes them second-guess how they should act around you. (Like, are they worthy???)
And the funny part? They think you have your life figured out. But seriously, you project this energy of wisdom, tradition, and stability, and it’s making them think twice before approaching. "What if they don’t take me seriously?" is a VERY real fear they have. They don’t want to come at you wrong and fumble before they even get a chance. Also, sidenote—this card sometimes gives ‘teacher/student’ energy. Not literally, but like, they feel like they could learn a lot from you. Now, let’s talk about the Two of Pentacles Reversed, because this is where the real mess begins. This person is struggling internally when it comes to you. They admire you, they think you’re lowkey untouchable, and they are absolutely not treating this as just a casual crush or just lightly. Whether they realize it or not, And let me be real with you—they’re not going to approach unless the universe forces them to. They’re waiting for some kind of cosmic push (Wheel of Fortune) to make things happen because right now, they’re paralyzed by their own overthinking. THEY ARE TIED UP IN KNOTS ABOUT THIS.

˙⋆✮ Pile III
"Who are they?? Why do they live in my head??"
Ohhh, Pile 3’s situation is serving mystery, intrigue, and a whole lot of overthinking on their person’s end. If this is someone who only sees you from a distance—like a coworker, a classmate, or someone —then whew, the way they have created an entire personality for you in their head is actually insane.
To them, you are literally the hardest puzzle they've ever encountered, and it's driving them nuts. Like, you know how in movies, there’s always that one person who walks into a room and suddenly the main character is hyper-aware of their presence? That’s you to them. Even if you don’t talk much, or at all, your energy is too loud to ignore. They probably observe you a lot but feel like they never get the full picture. It’s giving “they seem so cool but I have no idea what’s actually going on in their head”. You might be quiet, reserved, or just really selective with who you engage with, and that makes you feel even more untouchable to them. If you are talkative or social, you still confuse them because you might act differently around different people. One second you’re laughing with someone, the next you’re in your own world? It’s throwing them off. 😂 But here’s the thing: this isn’t just curiosity. No, bestie, this is a full-on obsession. They don’t just want to know more about you—they NEED to. Their brain is playing detective without their permission. The Magician here is interesting because it means they think you’re in control, while they feel completely out of control around you. It’s giving “they probably don’t even know I exist, but I can’t stop thinking about them” energy. due of 10 of cups here, I can say, they’ve already mentally placed you in a soft-focus fantasy movie of their future.(just marry yall😭😭) They don’t just see you as someone cool—they see you as someone who could be the perfect person for them. even if they’ve never spoken to you, they already imagine what kind of relationship they’d have with you. You are the “dream person” in their head, but here’s the problem: they have no clue who you actually are. It’s like they’ve created a whole storyline about you without fact-checking it first 😭. Basically, their mental image of you is 50% real, 50% a fanfiction they wrote in their head.
Bestie, listen… If you’ve ever caught them staring at you like they’re trying to solve a crime, that’s exactly what they’re doing. They’re dying to know who you actually are because right now, you exist as a walking mystery and a romanticized daydream in their head.

Summary: A story + series of hcs of literally just being the (non biological) little sister of Thanos. SOME TEAM THANOS X READER AS WELL. ALL PLATONIC.
Note: I did write this for the female readers but can also be read as gender neutral! Same backstory as Squid game x Fem!Teen!Reader!
Warnings: Drug usage, reader is a retired drug dealer, reader has a deceased father, Thanos had a deadbeat dad mentioned. Slight Angst but mostly fluff. NOT PROOF READ.
————————
- Okay you two definitely met at the bar he frequented at, you got so desperate for money you had begun dealing, you weren’t a dumb kid. You knew that your superiors thought they had you wrapped around their finger, but their wrong, as soon as you’ve made enough you’ll go silent for a while and cut off contact, go to the police if you have too and just say they were blackmailing you.
- You were eventually scheduled to meet up with a customer, very late at night, the family you were providing for sound asleep. You closed the door gently and made your way down to the stingy bar, ready to meet to meet whatever dickhead was dumb enough to buy drugs.
- You weren’t however expecting to see what you assumed to be your client, passed out in an alleyway begging for his mother. He had purple hair and ear piercings, and you nearly considered just taking the money and leaving. But you didn’t, you knew you couldn’t take him back to your house; so you brought him to a public bathroom and sat him down on the toilet seat, the entire way there he mumbled and you swear he made up a rap song on the spot on the way there. You gave him some water and waited until he was stable enough for a conversation.
- “Hey kid…you shouldn’t be out this late,, there are dangerous people about..” he slurred, you rolled your eyes and grabbed his phone from his pocket and handed it to him. “Call someone to come pick you up,.. I can’t be dealing with this right now.” You replied putting your cap back on and getting ready to leave the room and he looked like he wanted to say something but didn’t stop you.
Jesus..
——————————
- Fate clearly decided you two would meet again, nothing went to plan and now here you were in a series of deadly children’s games. This time he scooted you out, you were surprised he even remembered. It was the second game and he patted your back, whilst a friend of his stood next to him. “If it isn’t my saviour! Watchu doin here?” He smiled and you could immediately tell he was under the influence of something. “Some things never change..” you muttered, you secretly hoped he’d recovered, how wrong you were.
- “Need a team?” He beamed at you, crossing his arms confidently. You scoffed but knew this would probably be your best shot, you took a deep breath. “Sure, why not.”
- it was safe to say you didn’t mind Thanos, it was his little friend you had a problem with. Player 124 who jumped at 380’s neck every chance he got, and you absolutely hated it you always found ways to double his cruel names to the girl whose name you found out was Se-Mi. But anytime Nam-Gyu would go to verbally attack you back, Thanos would step in. Saying how “She’s just a kid calm down!” You loved his attempts to defend you.
- Thanos had eventually insisted everyone call you “Yeodongsaeng” or “little sister”, and you didn’t mind Thanos, Min-Su or Se-Mi calling you that; but you never wanted Nam-Gyu to call you his sister, when pigs fly you would be okay with it.
- Thanos gets a little jealous when you’re bonding with Se-Mi. “Hey little sis, take this.” She said, handing you some milk, Player 124 rolled his eyes whilst you just smiled. “Thank you, unnie.”
- You’ve come to the conclusion that Thanos just must have a soft spot for kids, you’ve witnessed him with other players and he’s nowhere near as nice to them as he is to you. That and the fact you’re the reason he wasn’t sleeping in the street that night.
- Bonding over your father’s not being around! Even though his is just a deadbeat and yours has died, you’re both without a father figure so this leads to a lot of trauma bonding for a variety of reasons.
- he most definitely accidentally give you pills once I’m sorry. Until Nam-Gyu of all people slapped the pills out of your hand and asked Thanos wtf he was doing, it took him a little while to process he’d nearly given drugs to you 😭
- You’re both on the same wavelength when it comes to voting, you desperately want to follow Se-Mi and Min-Su but your not sure if that would cost you the love of your new big brother.
- Let’s be delusional for a second and say you both got out together, he’d do some crazy shit like try to adopt you (if he succeeds I mean up to you) and get you a career in the industry alongside him but if you wanna go back to school and try and complete your education that’s fine! Say he does take you in he will at least try and get clean, now that he’s actually got someone.

MDNI! Inspo: 1
Yoongi hated seeing you cry. He hated to see the wetness of your cheeks and the slight puffiness of your eyes, given any situation he’d make it his right to avoid it - like when he accidentally spoke to you in a different tone, or when he was being short with you one time. But he couldn’t help the feeling he got when he heard you cry out for him as you became eager and eager for more of his touch.
Especially when he had a full view of you lose it as you grind on top of him. Rubbing your clothed throbbing pussy against his cock. You were desperate for more, the wet patch on the fabric of your panties full proof. He could tell you were on the verge of tears as you eagerly rocked against him, trying to ease the tension between your legs. Eyes shut tightly as your pussy ached for something more.
You were so needy - so good for him.
It made him go feral every-time he noticed the first tear escape your eye, and then when the rest followed along with your whiny whimpers and soft cries did he tell himself this was probably one of his favourite sights.
His hands would run up your stomach, caressing your breasts - thumb circling over your hardened nipples as you trembled with pleasure. His cock was a twitching - leaky mess too - seeing you in that state was just enough to get his cock rock hard and ready to fuck you, and when he feels your clothed pussy against him does he go even more insane.
He’d give in to your plees, fucking you just the way you like. Eyes lighting up in awe as he watches you in all your glory as he pounds you from below, your hands caressing the bare skin of his torso, working up towards his neck, playing with the silver chain hanging loosely around it.
His lips would kiss your tear stained cheeks whispering praises in your ear, a small smirk hidden on his face. He hated it but he truly couldn’t resist it.
His fingers—ones he knew were your weakness— would trail feather-light across your skin, sending chills up your spine. He’d caress your neck, tilting your head just enough so he could see your pretty face better, admiring you as you took him so well. Because he wanted to see it all, every whimper, every cry, every tear that escaped your eyes.
The way he made you act. Like a baby.
His crybaby.
The nickname he never let you forget.
He’d coo some meaningless sentence like, “hey hey, shh… I got you” caressing your wet cheek knowing damn well he thrives off of seeing you in such a state like this. His cock hits every spot inside you, making you cry out more as overstimulation consumes you with each movement against your skin.
“Yoongi… i-i”, you stutter unable to form a proper sentence. And who can blame you when his cock is pounding deep inside your wet cunt, your body collapsed on top of him as you’re unable to support yourself due to his harsh movements. He supports you by wrapping his arm around your waist, holding you close to him as he takes control.
His eyes never stray away from your face - mesmerised.
“Don’t cry, baby” he bites his lip as his thrusts continue, knocking you forward with each movement. If your eyes weren’t so blurred by your tears and the grip he has around your neck, you would be able to see the mischievous glint in his eye.
He catches your cries with a sloppy kiss. Giving you a sympathetic look as he says, “ah you’re close aren’t you baby?” As he can feel your pussy clench repeatedly. Your eyes shut tightly as you try your best to keep your composure. Even though you’re a mess already.
“Look at me”
He brings his hands towards yours, holding them as he eases you through your orgasm. He kisses your knuckles, eyes never leaving yours as he looks up at you.
When he feels you come undone around him, wetness coating his thighs - he caresses your body, shushing you as you shake and cry. His lips kissing your shoulder as you slowly unwind.
And when he’s finished with you - you near enough falling asleep, he will kiss along your skin. Praising you every way he can with words like, “You took me so well” and “I’m proud of you”. Words he knows has you weak. Running his slender fingers along your back caressing your skin, soothing you to sleep. Slowly working along towards your shoulders as he massages them until he hears the soft sound of your snores.

The air outside is crisp, a reminder that winter hasn’t fully let go, despite the pink and red decorations plastered across storefronts. Valentine’s Day is a week away, and yet, as you step out of your apartment, the holiday is the furthest thing from your mind.
Until you nearly trip over something at your doorstep.
A single red rose rests against the welcome mat, its petals velvety and deep, almost too perfect to be real. A small, cream-colored card, tied around with a black ribbon sits at the center.
You bend down, fingers brushing over the card as you flip it open.
“You don’t see me for who I am, but I see you.”
A strange shiver trails down your spine.
You glance around the hallway of your apartment complex. The usual dull lighting flickers slightly, and the air is still. No sounds of footsteps, no hushed whispers from neighbors. Just silence.
A prank? A weird marketing gimmick? Maybe even a mistaken delivery? You don’t have a secret admirer. Or at least, not one you know of.
Still, you tuck the note into your pocket and step back inside, leaving the rose on the counter as you grab your phone. Without thinking, you call the one person who would get a kick out of this.
The line barely rings before Haechan picks up.
"Yo, what’s up?" His voice is warm, laced with the lazy charm that makes it impossible to tell whether he's just woken up or has been up scheming since dawn.
“You’ll never guess what I just found at my door.”
“You finally got that Amazon package you forgot you ordered?”
“No, you idiot.” You roll your eyes, staring at the rose. “A gift. A creepy one.”
There’s a beat of silence. Then, Haechan’s intrigued hum. “Creepy, huh? You have my attention. Spill.”
You quickly relay the details—the rose, the note, the unsettling feeling gnawing at your gut. You half-expect him to laugh it off, but instead, his voice drops into something quieter, more serious.
"And you're sure it wasn't left at the wrong door?"
"I’m not sure about that. My name wasn’t on it, but my neighbors are men. Who would do this to a guy?”
Another pause. Then, a small chuckle. "Well, well. Looks like you’ve got yourself a secret admirer."
"Not funny."
"Are you kidding? It’s hilarious." You can practically hear his grin through the phone. "You're living in a real-life romance movie. Or a horror movie. Either way, I’m invested."
You sigh, rubbing your temple. "So what do I do? Just… ignore it?"
"Absolutely not. We investigate. Duh."
Your brows furrow. "Investigate? It's probably just some dumb joke."
"Or," he counters, voice dripping with amusement, "it's the beginning of something way more interesting. C'mon, don't you wanna know who’s behind this? What if it’s some insanely hot dude or chick who’s just so in love with you but socially inept?”
You scoff. "Yeah, because nothing says romance like borderline stalking."
"Hey, some people are just dedicated," he teases. "Look at those BookTok people. And tell you what—meet me at the café in an hour. Bring the note. I wanna see it."
"You’re actually taking this seriously?"
"Of course! A mystery has landed right at your doorstep. And as your best friend, it is my duty to help you solve it."
You sigh. Haechan has always been dramatic.
"Fine," you relent. "But if it turns out to be a stupid prank, you owe me coffee."
"You got it, Valentine."
The café is buzzing with the usual mid-morning crowd: college students hunched over laptops, couples sharing pastries, baristas calling out names over the hum of conversation. The scent of coffee and warm vanilla lingers in the air, comforting and familiar.
You spot Haechan immediately. He’s lounged in the corner booth, one arm draped over the back of the seat, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips as he watches you approach.
“Took you long enough,” he teases as you slide into the seat across from him. “I was starting to think your mystery lover got to you first.”
You roll your eyes, fishing the note out of your pocket and dropping it onto the table in front of him. “Here. Do your thing, Sherlock.”
Haechan picks up the note with exaggerated care, holding it between his fingers like it’s a sacred artifact. He squints, tilts his head, even sniffs it dramatically before nodding. “Yep. Just as I suspected.”
You raise an eyebrow. “Which is?”
“This is definitely paper.”
You snatch the note back, smacking his arm with it. “Wow, incredible deduction dipshit.”
He laughs, dodging your hand before leaning in, his expression shifting into something more thoughtful. “No, but seriously. This is weird. The handwriting is neat, almost too neat. Like someone either really took their time or… copied it.”
You frown. “Copied it?”
“Yeah. Like, I dunno, tracing someone else's writing. See how the pressure is kinda uneven in some spots? It’s like they were trying too hard to be precise.”
You blink, staring at him. “Since when are you an expert in handwriting analysis?”
Haechan grins, tapping his temple. “I watch a lot of crime documentaries. Also, Renjun had a forgery phase in middle school, so I picked up a few things.”
“Of course he did,” you mutter, shaking your head. “Okay, so say you’re right—what does that mean?”
“It means whoever wrote this was really careful about not being recognized.” He leans back, drumming his fingers on the table. “Which makes me think this isn’t just some dumb prank. They don’t want you to know who they are.”
That unsettling feeling from earlier creeps back up your spine.
“What if it’s someone we know?” you ask, voice quieter now.
Haechan tilts his head, considering. “Could be. Or it could be some rando with a crush. Either way, we have a mission. I’ll show you just how good a duo we’ll be.”
You exhale. “And that mission is…?”
“To find out who’s been leaving you love letters, obviously.” He grins, reaching for his coffee. “And if they turn out to be hot, I take full credit for setting you up.”
You snort, shaking your head. “Unbelievable.”
“Hey, I take my best friend duties very seriously.”
You roll your eyes, but still can’t help but feel a bit uneasy by it all.
The uneasy feeling from the café lingers as you make your way home.
"They don’t want you to know who they are."
"What if it’s someone we know?"
You shake the thoughts away as you unlock your door, stepping inside. The first thing you notice is the rose, still resting on the counter where you left it. Something about it feels different now—less like a mystery and more like a warning.
You inhale deeply, trying to push the paranoia aside. Maybe this is all just a prank. Maybe Haechan’s just hyping it up because he loves drama. Maybe—
Your phone buzzes.
[Unknown Number]: Did you like my first gift?
A sharp jolt of fear twists in your stomach. Your fingers tighten around your phone as you stare at the message.
Not a prank.
Your mouth runs dry as you hesitate before typing back.
[You]: Who is this?
Three dots appear. Then disappear. Then appear again.
[Unknown Number]: You’ll see soon enough.
Your heart pounds.
And then… three quick knocks on your front door.
You jump, whipping around to stare at it. The knock surprisingly wasn’t loud nor aggressive. However it got the message across.
Slowly, you step forward, peeking through the peephole. The hallway is empty. With a shaky breath, you unlock the door and crack it open just enough to peek outside.
A small, velvet box sits on your welcome mat.
Another gift.
You glance both ways down the hall—still empty. Whoever left it is already gone.
Heart hammering, you crouch down and carefully pick up the box, stepping back inside before locking the door behind you. Your fingers tremble slightly as you open it.
Inside is a delicate silver locket, its chain coiled neatly in the box. You hold it up to the light, examining the intricate engravings along the edges. It’s beautiful—almost vintage.
But when you pry it open, your breath catches in your throat.
Inside is a tiny photograph. One you recognize immediately.
It’s you.
You, standing outside your apartment building, smiling at the camera. But what makes your stomach turn is the person beside you.
Because there was someone beside you. But their face has been completely scratched out. And you have no idea who it is.
Your pulse roars in your ears as your grip tightens around the locket.
This isn’t a joke.
You fumble for your phone and dial Haechan’s number. He picks up almost immediately.
"Yo, miss me already?"
"Haechan." Your voice comes out unsteady, breathless. "It happened again."
A pause. Then, his tone shifts. It’s calm, but sharper now. "I’m coming over."
Fifteen minutes. That’s all it takes for Haechan to show up at your door, slightly out of breath, a bag of convenience store snacks in one hand and his phone in the other.
“Okay,” he says, pushing past you into the apartment, “give me the rundown. And before you ask, yes, I brought emergency snacks because I know you stress-eat.”
You let the door swing shut behind him, arms crossed. “Haechan, this is serious.”
“I am taking it seriously.” He tosses a bag of chips onto the counter before turning to you. “Now, tell me everything before I assume you’ve been cursed by a Victorian ghost.”
You exhale, pulling the velvet box from your pocket and flipping it open. “I found this at my door. Look inside.”
Haechan steps closer, peering down at the locket. He picks it up, flipping it open with careful fingers. His expression shifts immediately—the usual mischief in his eyes dims, replaced by something darker.
“The hell…?” He traces a thumb over the scratched-out face in the photo. “Okay. This? This is officially creepy.”
“No kidding,” you mutter, rubbing your arms as if that will rid you of the lingering unease. “It’s my photo, Haechan. And someone ruined it.”
He doesn’t say anything at first, just stares at the image. When he finally looks up, his gaze is sharp. “Where did they even get this picture?”
“I don’t know. That’s what freaks me out.” You sit on the edge of your couch, fingers gripping the fabric of your sweater. “Someone had to have taken it themselves. But I don’t remember anyone standing next to me like this.”
Haechan clicks his tongue, flipping the locket shut. “Alright. That settles it. We need a suspect list.”
You blink. “You say that like this is some kind of crime show.”
“Well, yeah,” he deadpans. “Except way more fun because it’s happening to you.”
You throw a pillow at his head. He dodges it effortlessly, grinning.
“Okay, okay,” he says, plopping down next to you. “Real talk. Do you know anyone who might be obsessed with you? Secret admirer type, or maybe even an ex with attachment issues?”
You think for a moment. And then—
“…Jaemin.”
Haechan’s brows shoot up. “Jaemin?”
You nod, stomach twisting. “He flirts with me constantly, even when I brush him off. Plus, I know I’ve caught him taking pictures of me before, but he always plays it off like it’s just a joke.”
Haechan leans back, considering. “Okay. Solid lead. What’s our game plan?”
You chew on your lip before standing. “We ask him directly.”
Haechan grins, standing up beside you. “Ooooh, an interrogation? Spicy.”
You roll your eyes, shoving your phone into your pocket. “Let’s just get this over with.”
And with that, the two of you head out—ready to confront the first suspect.
Jaemin’s usual hangout is the campus library, though calling it “studying” is generous. More often than not, he’s lounging in one of the oversized chairs, scrolling through his phone, pretending to be busy.
That’s exactly where you find him now, stretched out with his feet propped up on another chair, earbuds in, humming to himself.
Haechan nudges you. “Your not-so-secret admirer is in his natural habitat.”
You sigh, straightening your shoulders before striding over. Jaemin looks up just as you plant your hands on the table in front of him.
“Hey, sweetheart,” he greets smoothly, pulling out an earbud. “To what do I owe the pleasure?”
Haechan plops down beside him. “We have some questions.”
Jaemin raises an eyebrow. “We?”
“Yeah,” you say, crossing your arms. “And you’re going to answer them.”
His lips twitch, amused. “Sounds serious.”
“It is serious,” you snap, pulling out the locket and placing it in front of him. “Know anything about this?”
Jaemin’s gaze flickers to the locket, and for the first time, his smirk falters. His fingers twitch like he wants to pick it up, but he hesitates.
“What is this?” he asks, voice quieter now.
“You tell me,” you say. “It showed up at my door today. Someone left it for me, along with a creepy note. And considering how often you love taking pictures with me, I thought I’d start with you.”
Jaemin’s jaw tightens. “You think I gave you this?”
Haechan tilts his head. “Well, you do flirt with Y/N like it’s your full-time job.”
Jaemin exhales through his nose, leaning forward. “Okay, yeah, I flirt. But this?” He taps the locket. “This isn’t me. I’d never scratch out my own damn face.”
Your stomach clenches. “So you recognize the picture?”
Jaemin hesitates for half a second too long. Then, he shakes his head. “No.”
You and Haechan exchange a look.
“You’re lying,” Haechan accuses. “Dude, you hesitated.”
Jaemin runs a hand through his hair, exhaling sharply. “I don’t know where this came from, but I’ve seen that photo before. Just… not like this.”
Your pulse quickens. “Where?”
Another pause. Then, reluctantly, Jaemin mutters, “Renjun’s phone.”
Both you and Haechan freeze.
“What?” Haechan blurts. “Why would Renjun have a picture of Y/N on his phone?”
Jaemin shrugs. “No clue. It was a while ago. I remember seeing it and asking why he had it, but he just brushed me off. Thought it was weird, but not, y’know—this weird.” He gestures to the locket.
You stare at him, heart pounding. Could it be Renjun?
Haechan crosses his arms. “Alright, Nana. We’ll put you on the ‘maybe’ list for now. But if we find out you’re lying…” He drags a finger across his throat dramatically.
Jaemin rolls his eyes. “Yeah, yeah. Can I go back to existing now?”
You nod slowly, mind already racing ahead.
If Renjun had that photo… What else did he have?
And what would the next gift be?
The walk back to your apartment is tense. Haechan is uncharacteristically quiet beside you, hands stuffed into his hoodie pockets, his brows furrowed in thought.
"You okay?" you ask.
He exhales through his nose. "Just thinking. If Jaemin’s telling the truth, why would Renjun have that picture?"
"That’s what we’re going to find out," you murmur.
When you finally reach your apartment door, a chill runs down your spine. Sitting on your welcome mat is another small box, this time heart-shaped and a deep shade of crimson.
"Of course," Haechan mutters. "Right on schedule."
You swallow hard, exchanging a wary glance with him before bending down to pick it up. Unlike the velvet box from before, this one is heavier. With trembling fingers, you lift the lid—
A soft, eerie melody drifts into the air.
A music box.
But something is… off. The tune warbles and distorts, as if the mechanism inside is struggling to play correctly. It’s haunting, a melody that should be sweet but instead sends a shiver down your spine.
Inside, nestled among the delicate gears, is a small folded note.
A song just for you.
You stare at the words, your pulse hammering in your ears.
Haechan leans in. "Okay, I really don’t like this one."
You shut the lid abruptly, cutting off the melody. "Me neither."
"Who the hell writes you a personalized creepy lullaby?" he mutters. Then, his eyes widen slightly, realization dawning. "Wait. Music. Writing. Oh, come on—"
"Mark." You say his name at the same time Haechan does.
Mark has always been the sentimental type. From writing poetry to composing random melodies in his free time. If anyone had the skills to create something like this, it was him.
You grip the box tighter. "We need to talk to him."
Haechan nods. "Now."
You and Haechan find Mark exactly where you expect him, tucked away in a corner of the campus music room, hunched over a notebook, a pencil pressed against his lips. His fingers tap absentmindedly against the desk, keeping rhythm to whatever melody is playing in his head.
Haechan nudges you. "Caught him in the act. Very suspicious."
You shoot him a look before stepping forward. "Mark."
Mark glances up, blinking in surprise. "Oh, hey. What’s up?"
You waste no time, setting the music box down on the desk in front of him. His eyes flicker to it, then back to you.
"Did you make this?" you ask.
His eyebrows pull together. "Uh… no?"
Haechan crosses his arms. "You sure? Because we know you write songs. And poems. And you definitely know everything about Y/N—"
"Okay, dude, chill," Mark interrupts, looking bewildered. "What’s going on?"
You exhale, rubbing your temple. "Someone’s been leaving me gifts. Creepy ones. This music box was the latest, and since you’re literally the most musically gifted person I know, I thought—" You hesitate. "I thought maybe it was you."
Mark stares at the box for a moment before shaking his head. "It’s not me."
"Not even a little?" Haechan presses.
Mark sighs. "Look, yeah, I write songs. And sure, I might notice things. Like when you change your coffee order or cut your hair. Maybe I think you’re really cute. But that doesn’t mean I’m stalking you."
Haechan raises a skeptical brow. "Then what about your latest poetry post? The one about ‘loving from afar’?"
Mark’s expression shifts. His ears turn red.
Oh.
You narrow your eyes. "Mark?"
He groans, rubbing the back of his neck. "That wasn’t about you, okay?"
Haechan gasps, dramatic as ever. "Then who?"
Mark hesitates, then mutters, "My ex."
You and Haechan exchange a look.
"Oh," you say.
"Oh," Haechan echoes, slightly disappointed. "So you’re the heartbroken one, not the creepy one."
Mark shoots him a glare. "Obviously."
You sigh, dragging a hand down your face. "Okay. Sorry for accusing you. This whole thing is just messing with my head."
Mark softens. "Yeah, I get it. But seriously, if someone’s messing with you, you should be careful."
You nod, but your mind is already racing ahead.
The moment you step into your apartment, you feel it.
Something is waiting for you again.
Your breath catches as your eyes land on the small, folded piece of paper slipped under your door. The edges are slightly frayed, as if it had been torn from a notebook in a rush.
Haechan picks it up before you can. His fingers brush over the paper before carefully unfolding it. His eyes scan the words, his expression darkening.
You take the page from him and read:
"I see you even when you don’t see me.I wonder if you know how much you mean to me.If I could just tell you—”
The words stop abruptly, the last sentence unfinished.
And at the bottom, only a single initial is signed:
“R.”
You stare at it, heart hammering. "R."
Haechan exhales. "Renjun."
It makes sense. Jaemin had mentioned Renjun having your picture. And now this, a love confession, hesitant and unfinished.
You swallow hard. "We need to talk to him."
Haechan nods. "Before another one of these shows up."
Renjun is easy to find.
The art studio on campus is practically his second home, and sure enough, when you and Haechan arrive, he’s hunched over a sketchbook, completely lost in his work. His pencil moves in steady strokes, the faintest furrow between his brows as he concentrates.
Haechan leans in. “Bet he’s sketching you right now.”
You elbow him before clearing your throat. “Renjun.”
Renjun jumps, startled, before snapping his sketchbook shut. “Oh—hey. What are you guys doing here?”
Haechan plucks the journal page from your grasp and drops it onto his desk. “Care to explain this?”
Renjun’s gaze flickers to the torn-out page. He lets out a sharp inhale, as his shoulders start tensing.
“So it is yours.”
Renjun stays silent for a beat too long before he exhales, rubbing the back of his neck. “Where did you get this?”
“It was slipped under my door,” you say carefully. “You signed it with ‘R.’”
Haechan crosses his arms. “Looks real bad, dude.”
Renjun lets out a quiet laugh, but it’s more of a nervous laugh than a humorous one. “Yeah… I can see that.”
Your pulse quickens. “So you did write it?”
Another pause. Then, finally, he nods. “Yeah. But not for you.”
You blink. “What?”
Renjun sighs, running a hand through his hair. “I did write that confession. But it’s old…I wrote it last year, for someone else.” He taps the page, his lips pressing into a thin line. “I threw this out months ago. I have no idea how you ended up with it.”
Haechan whistles low. “Okay, that’s actually kinda messed up.”
Renjun shakes his head. “ If someone dug this up just to mess with you… That’s not romantic. That’s obsessive.”
You grip the edge of the desk. “Then what about those photos you took of me?
Renjun looks at you, his expression not wavering, “I take photos of everyone. It’s practice for more naturalistic portrayals of human figures.”
A chill runs down your spine.
If Renjun didn’t leave the page for you… then the real admirer wasn’t just watching you. If they had gotten their hands on Renjun’s photos then…
They were watching everyone.
That night, you barely sleep.
Renjun’s words keep replaying in your mind. ‘That’s not romantic. That’s obsessive.’
The pieces aren’t fitting together. The gifts, the messages, the calculated way they’re being delivered. This isn’t just someone with a crush. This is someone who has been planning this.
You’re still lost in thought when you hear it.
A soft thud outside your door.
Slowly, you sit up, heart pounding in your ears. Haechan, asleep on your couch, stirs slightly but doesn’t wake. You swallow hard and push yourself to your feet. Step by step, you inch toward the door, pulse hammering with every movement.
You already know what’s waiting for you.
Another gift.
With trembling hands, you open the door.
Sitting on the welcome mat is a small, heart-shaped box, identical in size to the one that held the music box. But this time, the deep red velvet is stained. Dark splotches sinking into the fabric, like something wet had been resting there before drying.
Your stomach turns.
Slowly, you pick it up. It’s heavier than you expect.
You hesitate. Then, you lift the lid.
Inside, cushioned in soft silk, isn’t chocolate.
It’s a tooth.
A human tooth.
Your throat felt dry as you wanted to retch in disgust, while the box nearly slips from your hands. Your vision blurs as you stare at it, uncomprehending, unwilling to believe what you’re seeing.
Beneath the tooth, there’s a note.
"Now you’re mine."
Your fingers shake as you unfold the small slip of paper.
And that’s when you see it.
The handwriting.
It’s Haechan’s.
Your body goes cold.
Behind you, the couch creaks as he shifts in his sleep.
And you realize—
You’re trapped inside your apartment.
With him.
Your fingers tighten around the note as your heartbeat thunders in your ears.
Every nerve in your body screams at you to move. But you’re frozen. The weight of the realization crashes over you in suffocating waves.
It was him.
It was always him.
A slow creak fills the silence. The sound of someone shifting.
“Hm… you’re up?”
Your breath stutters as you whip around. Haechan is sitting up on the couch, rubbing his eyes sleepily. His voice is laced with drowsiness, but his gaze—when it lands on you—is sharp.
Too sharp.
His eyes drop to the box in your hands. He sees the note. The tooth. And then… he smiles.
A lazy, knowing smile.
Your stomach twists. “Haechan…”
He tilts his head, still watching you. “You don’t look happy to see your gift. But don’t worry I’ve improved on it.”
Your grip tightens on the box. “Why?”
Haechan exhales through his nose, shaking his head like you’ve just asked something ridiculous. “Come on, Y/N. You’re smart. You’ve been smart this whole time. Figuring out clues, questioning the right people.” He leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “Except you never questioned me.”
You take a step back. “You helped me.”
“I guided you.” He corrects, his voice smooth. “I made sure you followed the right trail. I led you to suspects just to watch your reactions. Watch you look at them instead of me.” His smile widens, his dimples deep but unsettling. “And you fell for it. Every time.”
Your skin crawls. “The rose. The music box. The torn-out page?”
“All me,” he confirms easily. “Jaemin? Mark? Renjun? They were never real threats. Just distractions. I needed to make sure your eyes weren’t on me until the right moment.”
“And the tooth?” Your voice is barely above a whisper.
Haechan’s smile fades slightly, his expression unreadable. “That one’s special.” His fingers brush over his lower lip, and something dark flickers behind his gaze. “A part of me. It’s yours now.”
No way.
"Now we match."
A sick realization slithers through you.
Haechan… pulled out his own tooth.
For you.
A cold sweat prickles down your spine. “You’re insane.”
Haechan only grins. “I’m in love.”
You feel the blood drain from your face.
He sighs, standing up slowly. “I knew you wouldn’t understand right away. That’s why I took my time. I sent gifts and gave you a story to follow.” His voice softens, almost affectionate. “I wanted to watch you figure it out. I wanted to see the exact moment you realized it’s always been me.”
He takes a step forward.
And you take a step back.
His eyes flicker with amusement. “Still running from me?”
Your fingers curl into fists.
You need to get out.
Now.
Haechan watches you like a predator sizing up its prey. His smile is still there, but now, you can see it for what it truly is. A mask. A carefully crafted performance. And you were his favorite audience.
Then, he moves.
Slow, deliberate. Like he has all the time in the world. From his pocket, he pulls out a small velvet box. A jewelry box. He rolls it between his fingers, eyes never leaving yours, before sliding it across the coffee table toward you. “I saved the best for last,” he murmurs.
You don’t want to look.
But you do.
Your hands tremble as you reach for the box, flipping it open. Inside, nestled in dark velvet, are a pair of earrings.
The charms dangle from delicate gold hooks, polished smooth. But even in the dim light of your apartment, you can see them for what they are.
Teeth.
Human teeth.
Your stomach twists violently.
Haechan hums, tilting his head. “They’re beautiful, aren’t they? I worked so hard on these.” His voice drops into something softer, almost coaxing. “You’ll wear them, won’t you?”
Your breath comes in shallow gasps.
You need to get out.
Haechan sees it before you even move. His lips curl into a knowing smirk, and then—
The lights flicker.
A click.
Your front door.
Locked.
Your heart slams against your ribs. “Haechan—”
He only smiles, stepping closer.
“Shh,” he soothes. “It’s Valentine’s Day, baby.”
A flickering TV screen bathes the darkened room in cold, artificial light. The newsroom anchor, a solemn-looking woman, speaks in a measured, professional tone.
"Breaking news tonight—local authorities have launched an investigation into the disappearance of Y/N L/N, last seen on February 14th. Friends report that they were searching for a secret admirer who had been leaving a series of mysterious gifts. However, they never returned home. If you have any information regarding their whereabouts, please contact—"
The report continues, but the sound is drowned out by the hum of a familiar tune.
A figure strolls past the display window of an electronics store, hands tucked casually into his pockets. His hoodie shields most of his face, but the dim glow of the screens flickers against his features.
Haechan.
A soft, lilting hum escapes his lips.
"My funny valentine…"
He walks on, disappearing into the city’s shadows.
The TV screen flickers.
The missing person poster flashes across the screen.
“The case remains open.”
“For now.”
me when i basically lied in the summary but not really 🫶🤗 love u guys too !!

Fruit Roll Up
Character: Yoichi Isagi, Meguru Bachira, Hyoma Chigiri, Rin Itoshi, Seishiro Nagi, Reo Mikage, Sae Itoshi, Michael Kaiser, Ryusei Shidou
Content: Blue Lock boys react to you wanting to wrap a fruit roll up around it (semi crack fic, semi smut)
A/N: inspired by this post -@captainshindo
Warnings: mentions of oral sex
Yoichi Isagi
"Wait, hold on—what?"
Isagi blinked at you like you had just suggested kicking a soccer ball all the way to the moon. His brows furrowed; lips slightly parted in sheer bewilderment as he tried to process your words.
"You wanna put a fruit roll up on… where?"
His voice wavered between confusion and mild concern as he sat there, watching you dangle a blue colorful fruit roll up between your fingers like it was some kind of forbidden delicacy. You grinned, leaning in a little closer, eyes sparkling with mischief.
"Come on, Ichi, just trust me on this."
"I mean, sure, I guess. But why?" He shifted awkwardly, fingers twitching against his knee as a flush crept up his neck. His usual composure, the razor-sharp focus he had on the field, seemed to crumble under the sheer absurdity of the situation.
“Because I wanna try it out,” you said, pouting just enough to make it almost impossible for him to say no.
His shoulders sagged in surrender, a deep sigh escaping his lips. "If it makes you happy, then—ah! Ohhh, fuck—”
You didn’t even let him finish his sentence before jumping at the opportunity. A victorious grin spread across your face as you reached forward, determination shining in your eyes.
“See? Not such a bad idea, huh?” you mused as you got to work.
Isagi sucked in a sharp breath, throwing his head back with an unexpected hum. His fingers twitched against his sides as if resisting the urge to swat your hands away, but he didn’t. His eyes fluttered shut for a second before peeking at you, filled with a mix of trepidation and intrigue.
"You're really enjoying this, aren't you?" His voice came out breathless, slightly strained.
You tilted your head, biting your lip to keep from laughing. "Maybe a little."
"As long as you’re happy," he muttered, exhaling through his nose. His ears were burning red, and he refused to meet your gaze, probably regretting every decision that led him to this moment. And yet, he didn’t stop you.
There was something about seeing Isagi, usually so confident and competitive, now reduced to a flustered mess over something so ridiculously simple. The contrast was almost too much to handle.
"Okay, okay," you giggled, finally pulling back slightly. "What do you think? Rate the experience."
Isagi blinked at you, lips parted like he was still buffering. Then, after a long pause, he swallowed thickly.
"Honestly?" He rubbed the back of his neck, eyes darting anywhere but at you. "Kinda… weird. But not bad. Like, I didn't think it would work, but now—uh." His sentence trailed off as he looked at you again, expression unreadable.
You smirked, tilting your head. "Go on."
"You might be onto something," he admitted begrudgingly, shifting slightly under your gaze. "But if you tell anyone about this, I swear—"
You snorted, reaching over to poke his cheek. "Relax, Ichi. I don’t tell anyone about anything we do in the bedroom"
"Alright, good. So, uh..." He trailed off, eyes locked onto you with anticipation. You raised an eyebrow, tilting your head, waiting for him to continue.
His cheeks flushed as he hesitated before mumbling, "Are you gonna finish?"
A smirk played on your lips. "You want me to?"
"...Yes, please," he admitted, almost shyly.
And that was all the confirmation you needed before putting him back in your mouth and getting to work.
Meguru Bachira
"Oh-ho-ho~? You absolute freak, I love it!" Bachira clapped his hands together, eyes gleaming with mischief like a goblin who had just discovered a new way to cause mayhem. He leaned in closer, watching you with rapt attention.
You pulled out the fruit roll up, mango pineapple flavored and got to work wrapping it around Bachira’s dick.
"Wait, wait, wait—you’re actually doing this? Oh, this is gonna be amazing." His excitement was borderline unhinged, his energy bouncing all over the place as he perched on the edge of his seat, barely able to contain himself.
You didn’t expect him to be this excited. You were actually unsure of how he’d react to your request but this was better than you expected. Maybe that wasn’t such a good thing though because before you even got to put your mouth on it, he was swirling out ideas.
"What’s next, huh? Should we go full dessert mode? Whipped cream? Chocolate drizzle? No? Tch, you’re no fun," he teased, shaking his head dramatically before perking right back up. "Fine, fine! Just fruit rolls ups… for now"
As you rolled your eyes and continued, Bachira, of course, had to make things weirder. He started making airplane noises, rocking side to side like a child hyped up on sugar. "Choo-choo! Here comes the flavor train! Next stop: Meguru’s curiosity!"
You shot him a look, exasperated. "Are you seriously narrating this?"
"Of course! This is a historic moment!" he declared, placing a dramatic hand over his heart.
His laughter bubbled up as he watched you, his gaze filled with that signature mix of chaotic excitement and genuine affection. "Y’know, I gotta say," he mused, tilting his head, "I love the way your brain works. Completely unhinged. Just my type."
His endless enthusiasm made it impossible not to laugh. "You’re ridiculous."
"And you love it," he shot back, beaming.
“Oh–oh! Oh this is… this is better than I was expecting~” Bachira moaned as you put his fruit roll up covered cock all the way into your mouth.
“Yeah?” You hummed, the vibrations from your words contributing to his pleasure
“Oh yeah, please, don’t stop.” He shut his eyes, his hands finding their way to your hair, entangling themselves in it.
At the end of the day, Bachira was a whirlwind of chaos and sugar who made everything twice as fun, just by being himself. And oh how you loved him for it.
Hyoma Chigiri
Chigiri stared at you, utterly unimpressed. His crimson eyes flickered with disbelief as he took in your suggestion, arms crossed in a way that made him look like a prince being subjected to absolute nonsense. "You could have literally suggested anything else," he said, voice as flat as ever, "anything, and you went with fruit roll-ups?"
You nodded enthusiastically.
He exhaled sharply through his nose, pinching the bridge of it like this was giving him an actual migraine. "This has to be some weird diet trend I don’t know about," he muttered, shaking his head.
"Not a diet," you corrected with a grin. "Just an experience."
Chigiri gave you the most deadpan stare imaginable, like he was seriously reconsidering every life choice that had led him to this moment. But despite his apparent suffering, you could see the tiny twitch at the corner of his lips, threatening to betray him.
After a few more seconds of dramatic silence, he sighed in surrender. "Fine," he relented, shifting his weight like a reluctant aristocrat about to partake in the peasantry. "But just this once. And don’t—" he paused, fixing you with a sharp gaze, "—get any on my sheets. I don’t want ants."
You snorted. "That’s what you’re worried about?"
"Obviously," he replied smoothly, flicking his silky, shiny hair over his shoulder like this was just another day of dealing with absolute chaos.
You rolled your eyes, but he wasn’t done. "And if this ends up being terrible," he continued, narrowing his gaze, "you owe me. Big time."
"Deal," you chirped, already enjoying how much this was ruffling his usually composed demeanor.
As you prepared everything, Chigiri watched you like a hawk—arms crossed, gaze sharp, still looking vaguely offended by the entire ordeal. Yet, despite all his protests, there was no missing the curiosity lurking beneath his exasperation.
He was trying way too hard to act like he wasn’t at least a little intrigued.
And that was exactly why you loved messing with him.
“What’s taking so l-” Before he could finish, you had him in your mouth. He froze for a moment, shocked, but quickly relaxed, melting like putty as you continued, savoring each movement as you slurped him up like a slushie.
“D-don’t stop,” he groaned, eyes squeezed shut, clearly enjoying the experience.
“I’m taking this is going well, and that I won’t have to owe you?” you asked, pulling away. You noticed the disappointed look on his face when you stopped.
“We’re not finished yet. I’ll let you know when we’re done,” he replied, his frown deepening.
“Sounds to me like you’re hoping I’ll keep going,” you teased. “but, you don’t have to tell me twice”
Rin Itoshi
Rin took one look at the fruit roll-ups in your hands, then glanced at you, and without missing a beat, he immediately turned on his heel and started walking away. "No."
You blinked, staring after him. "No? Why not?"
He didn’t even slow down as he walked away, his voice barely turning back to address you. "Because you’re insane."
You gasped dramatically, hand on your chest. "Excuse me?"
Rin rubbed his temples like he could already feel a headache forming. "Find someone else to entertain your sugar-fueled delusions," he called over his shoulder, completely unimpressed.
You stood there, staring at his retreating form, half frustrated and half amused by his complete lack of enthusiasm for your idea.
He came back five minutes later out of pure curiosity.
He stood in the doorway for a moment, arms crossed, watching you with that look like he was contemplating whether he was about to make the worst decision of his life.
"How set are you on this," he began with a sigh, his tone reluctant.
“Very.”
"This is a terrible idea." But despite his words, there was a faint twitch at the corner of his lips, and his eyes had softened ever so slightly. Yet, he still walked back into the room, eyeing the way you were on your knees.
You grinned, clearly winning this battle.
"Fine." He rolled his eyes, "I’ll humor you. But, this doesn’t mean I’m into this food fetish thing you got going on"
You could tell he was trying his best to seem unaffected by the ridiculousness of it all, but there was no hiding the faint interest in his eyes as he watched you get to work.
"One condition," Rin added, stepping a little closer now, as if finally accepting that he was going to be involved in whatever you were planning.
You raised an eyebrow. "What’s that?"
"Don’t make it weird," his eyes narrowed slightly as if trying to guard himself against whatever might come next.
You leaned in with a grin. "No promises."
Seishiro Nagi
There was only the faintest hint of interest in his eyes as he leaned back on the pillows. He barely even moved, perfectly embodying the phrase ‘no thoughts, just vibes.’
As you started preparing your… unique setup, Nagi just lounged there, sprawled out like a cat in the sun. He didn't have any objections, nor did he offer much in the way of encouragement. He simply watched, not bothered enough to care.
"Seriously? You’re just letting me do this?" you asked.
"Yeah, I guess," he replied, his eyes drifting shut for a moment as he stifled a yawn. His voice was so devoid of energy that it was impossible to tell if he was bored or just entertained by how over-the-top you were being.
You kept going, not letting his disinterest stop you. After all, this was Nagi, his lack of reaction was practically a sign that you were doing something right.
The only time Nagi actually stirred was when a stray piece of the fruit roll up fell on his stomach, just within his reach. Without even opening his eyes, he lazily reached for it, grabbed it, and popped it into his mouth with zero fanfare.
"Huh. Tasty," he muttered, completely unfazed. He didn’t even bother elaborating or making a face.
"You’re so weird," you said, shaking your head, but secretly enjoying the way he just went with it.
"Says you," Nagi scoffed with a lazy grin, his eyes flicking over to you briefly.
"That’s why you love me." you smiled before taking him in, enjoying the way the fruit roll up melted in your mouth against the heat of your warm tongue. Nagi hissed at the feeling, giving you the first reaction of this whole ordeal.
“How does it feel?” You asked, pulling away to wipe the drool off your lips.
“Feels like…” He paused, thinking for a moment. “Like you should keep going.”
Reo Mikage
Reo nearly choked on air when you casually dropped the suggestion, his entire body stiffening in surprise. "Excuse me—what?" he managed, his voice high and incredulous. You, on the other hand, were entirely unphased, raising an eyebrow at his dramatic reaction.
"Fruit. Roll. Ups." you said slowly, as if that explained everything.
"I heard you. I just… why?" Reo blinked several times, mouth hanging open as he tried to process what you’d just said. He reached for his glass of water, clearly trying to calm himself down, but it only served to make the situation worse. He buried his face in his hands with a long, exasperated sigh, as if he was somehow both embarrassed and horrified.
"I swear, this is why rich people get accused of having weird kinks," he muttered, his voice muffled by the palms of his hands.
You smirked, leaning back casually, clearly enjoying the sight of his spiraling. "Well, you know what they say, if the shoe fits," you teased.
"I don’t even know where to begin with this suggestion."
You shrugged, nonchalant as ever. "It’s simple. Fruit Roll-Ups. You wrap it around things. You eat it. End of story."
"I—" He stopped himself, pinching the bridge of his nose like he was trying to stave off a headache. His eyebrows furrowed in disbelief, his usual grace and composure slipping for just a moment. "Why Fruit Roll-Ups of all things? Why not… I don’t know, something normal like chocolate or honey or strawberries or—anything that makes sense?"
"Why not?" you countered with a teasing grin. "It’s fun, it’s colorful, it’s sugary. What’s not to love?"
"I… I just can’t believe you’re serious about this." He leaned back in his chair.
"Come on, Reo," you prodded, trying not to laugh at his genuine discomfort. "What’s the worst that could happen?”
“It’s just weird, alright?”
"I mean, it’s not like you have to do it, but…" You paused for effect, watching his every move.
He let out a dramatic groan, the sound of someone utterly defeated. "I’m going to regret this, aren’t I?"
"Maybe," you teased, enjoying the drama unfolding before you. "But isn’t that what makes it fun?"
“This is fun to you?”
"You’re right," you said with a playful grin. "I should’ve suggested something weirder. Like… jelly beans and pickles."
His eyes went wide. "No! Absolutely not! I have some standards, okay? My dick isn’t some candy buffet, Y/n, damn.”"
“Aw, man.” You pouted, pretending to be disappointed.
"You’re insane. But fine," he said after a beat, finally giving in, his voice resigned. "If this is what you want, I’ll play along, but just so you know, I will be silently judging you this whole time."
You raised an eyebrow. "Judging me? Oh please, I’m gonna make you a mess under me.”
The thought sent a shiver down Reo’s body. He was getting mad at himself from how turned on he was starting to get. "Whatever. Let’s just get this over with— JESUS CHRIST WOMAN, YOU COULD’VE GAVE ME A WARNING.”
Yeah, he came three times.
Sae Itoshi
Sae just stared at you. Then at the fruit roll up. Then back at you.
"You need therapy."
“Sae, what the hell.” You gasp.
He raised an eyebrow, clearly confused by your silent, almost eager stare. “You’re weird,” he muttered, a little edge to his tone. “Why would I let you do that?”
You shrugged innocently, feeling a little giddy, “I just think it would be fun.”
You leaned in just a bit, your eyes twinkling with mischief. “Come on, Sae. Don’t tell me you’re not curious.”
His gaze flickered to the fruit roll-up again, then back to your face, his expression still unreadable. “You need serious help.”
You simply frowned, the corners of your mouth turning down with a playful defiance. “You’re not going to let me? Really?”
"No." He replied, his voice steady and unbothered, almost too simple.
"Saeee..." You stretched his name out dramatically, your eyes wide with pleading. "Please?"
He raised an eyebrow, his expression resigned. "What kind of pleasure do you get from this, other than tormenting me?"
"It’ll be fun, I swear," you insisted with a hopeful grin.
He shook his head, sighing deeply as though he couldn’t believe the words coming from your mouth. "This isn’t fun, Y/n. This is odd. You’re odd. I’ve already said no, so stop asking."
Defeated, you let out a heavy sigh, your shoulders slumping in exaggerated disappointment. Slowly, you walked off to put the box of fruit roll-ups back, doing your best to suppress the letdown you were feeling.
Later that day, you were sitting on the couch, sulking a little, when you heard the familiar shuffle of his footsteps. Surprised, you looked up to see him standing in front of you, a box of fruit roll-ups in hand. He refused to make eye contact, simply shoving the box into your hands without a word.
You blinked at him, completely caught off guard. "What’s this?"
He grumbled, his voice almost a growl. "Fine. You can do it."
Your jaw dropped in disbelief. "Really? What made you change your mind?"
He rolled his eyes, clearly irritated but unable to hide the hint of frustration beneath his words. "Does it even matter? Just... let’s get this over with before I change my mind again."
"Okay! Yippie!" You exclaimed.
Without wasting a second, you leapt up from the couch, your excitement bubbling over. You wrapped your arms around him in a tight hug, planting kisses all over his face in a flurry of joy before dragging him to the bedroom to give him the most toe-tingling, sheet-gripping, jaw-breaking blow job of his entire life all with his dick wrapped in a fruit roll up.
Michael Kaiser
“What’s… this?” Kaiser asked, his voice tinged with both curiosity and slight confusion as he watched you settle comfortably between his legs, unwrapping a brightly colored fruit roll-up.
You gave him a nonchalant glance, still focused on your task. “A fruit roll-up,” you answered simply, as though the answer was obvious.
He didn’t even flinch as you casually unzipped his pants, a move that was second nature between the two of you. There was no hesitation, no awkwardness. You had an unspoken understanding, a rhythm that allowed such actions to be taken without question. You both made sure to check in with each other, confirming mutual comfort and consent, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t curious when you did.
Kaiser eyed you intenty, his gaze flickering between your hands and your face, the curiosity and interest clear in his expression. It wasn’t often that he had to wonder about your next move.
“I can see that,” he murmured, the hint of a smile playing on his lips, though his eyes narrowed in on you. “But what exactly are you doing?”
“I’m wrapping it around your dick while I suck you off.” You say casualy.
“What?” He looked at you like you were insane. “The fuck?”
You threw a Fruit Roll-Up at his face, the candy whizzing through the air and slapping against his cheek with an audible squelch.
He blinked, clearly caught off guard by it, his expression shifting to one of disbelief as he slowly peeled the sticky fruit snack off his skin. “The hell? What’d you do that for?” he frowned, his voice laced with confusion.
“You talk too much,” you said, your tone cool. “Just let me suck you off with a fruit roll up around it.”
Kaiser’s eyes widened slightly, a mixture of surprise and curiosity flashing in them. “I never said yes,” he replied, his voice steady, though there was a hint of challenge beneath it.
You raised an eyebrow, unfazed. “You never said no,”
Kaiser chuckled, the deep sound of amusement escaping him. “You're a strange one, aren’t you?” He smirked, resting his chin in his hand, eyes glinting with something that bordered between mischief and intrigue. “But I like strange. It keeps things interesting."
He leaned forward slightly, making the moment feel far more dramatic than it had any right to be. He seemed to take your little silly idea and blow it up, turning it into some high-class, avant-garde experience, as if he were about to set the stage for a grand performance.
“If we’re doing this,” he grabbed your chin, tilting your face to have your gaze meet his, “we do it my way.”
Ryusei Shidou
Shidou didn’t hesitate. His excitement was instant and electric, the mischievous gleam in his eyes only growing as he took a step toward you, rubbing his hands together like a mad scientist about to unveil his latest, chaotic experiment.
“Fuck yeah! Let’s get weird!” he cheered, his voice booming with confidence.
You blinked at him, barely processing his enthusiasm, but the way he immediately dove into brainstorming ideas made you grin despite yourself. Shidou was never one to shy away from insane shit like this.
“What if we melt chocolate on it? Or dip it in Red Bull? OOH, what if we—”
“Ryu, no,” you cut him off, shaking your head, but even as you spoke, you couldn’t help but laugh at how ridiculous the possibilities were. Chocolate and Red Bull? He was serious about it too, you could see it in his eyes.
“Ryu, yes.” He pushed back.
His unwavering energy propelling him into territory you weren’t even sure you’d signed up for. A fruit roll-up was one thing, but now, the absurd ideas were starting to sound less like wild jokes and more like they could actually happen.
“Just imagine, Y/n. We could put gummy bears on it. Or maybe marshmallows. Maple syrup. Do you even know how good that would be?”
You stared at him, trying to process the combination of ingredients he was suggesting. The thought alone made your stomach do the thing (your pancreas crying from that diabetic nightmare), but for some reason, you could almost see it working. You did like those snacks,
But still, you had to draw a line somewhere.
“Red bull? Isn’t that a little... too much? Like, even for you?”
Shidou’s face lit up like a lightbulb. “Not enough,” he said matter-of-factly, throwing his arms wide in dramatic flair. “It needs to be bold, right? We’re talking flavor explosion. This isn’t a snack, it’s a masterpiece.”
“Let’s just start with the fruit roll-up, we’ll think about the other stuff after.”
Shidou looked disappointed for all of two seconds before a devilish grin crossed his face again. “Deal. But just so you know, you’ve opened Pandora’s box. I’m not responsible for where this goes.”
You couldn’t help but chuckle. The man was practically salivating over the idea of you giving him blowjobs with various snacks on his dick.
You unwrapped the fruit roll-up slowly, the shiny, sticky paper catching the light. Shidou purred at the sight of your delicate hands working so meticulously into wrapping it around his throbbing cock. You looked so pretty, all concentrated as you did the strangest things with him. That’s why he loved you, you matched his freak.
By the time it was all over, Shidou had somehow convinced you to incorporate donuts, bagels, whipped cream, honey, and even the gummy worms he so desperately wanted you to use. When the chaos finally settled, your throat ached, your stomach full, and your face was a mess—covered in a mix of food crumbs, sugar, and the remnants of his sweet, milky cum.

Looking through the little window of the kitchen, you noticed it was going to be a cloudy day.
Rain was forecasted but the air was kind of warm, either way, you would take the subway. Your hands pour two coffee cups and soon you place them perfectly on the table.
You return to serve the scrambled eggs with sausage you made, very occidental given the circumstances.
Two big hands snake around your hips and you roll your eyes, giggling.
“You shouldn’t spoil me this much, blossom,” your husband says, kissing your cheek and making you feel utterly in love.
“I can and I will, baby” you reply, spinning around, his hands remain on your hips and you step on your tiptoes to give him a soft kiss.
He had a grey suit already on. His hair was perfectly combed and his well-mannered composure displaying too.
“I was thinking on something…” your husband says, tracing circles over the fabric of your pajama sweats. “What if?… We have a date?”
“A date? Aren’t our usual hangouts dates, love?” You ask confidently, you can hear him huffing but in a playful way.
“It’s different. We married three years ago…” you nod at him, a silly smile plastered across your face.
“And where are you taking me?” your sultry tone makes him grope your hips harder and it almost makes you gasp.
“That’s a surprise…” your husband says, grabbing the plates with food and walking away. “Fine, dear. Surprise me then…”
As you both eat dinner, you remember your tasks of the day, making you eat slowly.
“I’m staying a couple of extra hours in my office, I have three scheduled meetings with students to counsel” you explain.
“I still believe you’ll be home earlier than me…”
“Well, just in case, I already left chicken breasts marinating and the vegetables are disinfected” Your husband eyes you with curiosity, already thinking why you would take longer. “Just cook the chicken and pour the vegetables in a bowl. I’ll make the salad and drinks if I’m late”
He nods, smiling at you with ease. But his thoughts are running high already.
Soon he is at the door putting on his shiny black shoes while you slip into your low maroon heels.
“See you tonight,” you say, stepping forward and kissing him so passionately that he almost closes the door to throw you on the couch.
“Love you,” you said.
“Love you too” the salesman answered.
…
Your fingers twirl around the red keys you had hanging in your office. The computer was on and the announcement of a zoom call ended was on display. You unlock a drawer with said keys and you grab a cellphone.
It was cold and off. As soon as you turn it on, you stand up to close the door and that’s when it starts vibrating.
“Are you alone?” The deep voice on the other side asks. “All clear…”
“Good” You can tell how imposing his voice is, he was your boss after all. “Have you read the archive of the games of 2020?”
“Yes, sir” you answer confidently.
“Player 456, Seong Gi-hun is trying to find us…” you remembered the morning you put aside your counselor job to read the archives and search most of the profiles of the late players of the squid game of 2020.
“We have located his intern. Get rid of him and the work he has done so far…” you silently sigh at his words. In your hand, the phone vibrates again, alerting you of a new message, probably containing the address of the intern.
“Do you need proof of my job?”
“I trust you enough to complete your task without doubts” he says and it almost made your cheeks burn.
You stay silent, already accepting you would be late for dinner.
“Can you do that for me? Or do you have to get home to your husband?” He is mocking you, you roll your eyes, standing up and ready to leave.
“Don’t push my buttons, Hwang In-ho” and with that, you hang up.
…
The washing machine of the apartment was too quiet. At given times, it almost made you forget you had clothes washing. You stand in front of the machine, your arms crossed and looking at the clothes spinning inside. You could still see the dress shirt of your husband and the tiny droplet of dry blood, slowly turning pink and then dissapearing completely.
The salesman didn’t ask you why you took longer than expected the night before. You has already warned him you could be late. he respected it.
In the morning he woke up hard and you gladly spread your legs for him. You whispered his name in his ear until you couldn’t help but moan loudly. Your husband was always soft but hard. Sometimes you wondered if he had more unveiling under his perfectly neat aura. He once said his job was dangerous, but both of you were getting to know each other and were drunk. What if it wasn’t a joke?
He was a businessman, but ever since you met him, you hadn’t questioned with sincerity what he specifically worked for.
As you see how the blood disappeared from his dressing shirt, you wonder if he was also lying to you.
What if he was cheating? Women could get freaky and draw some blood if things went messy in the sheets.
No. He was head over heels for you.
The salesman picked you and never let you go. He asked for a fruit cake slice and you asked for a crème brûlée at the same time. The girl at the counter asked if you two were a couple and both of you chuckled, pointing out you were strangers.
It made more sense your husband was in some dirty job.
Just like you…
But you did it because you needed extra money to send to your home. Your parents needed a house, new cars, you just couldn’t ask your husband to sustain them as well.
What was his reason?….
You shake your head, realizing you were overthinking and your husband probably was just working at some office. You would keep your lie as long as possible.
And that was it, for a moment…
…
It had been raining all night. The streets were quiet but the sense of tranquility flooded the air. Your heels clicked with every step you gave through the station.
You were slightly far from home, at the Busan station. The frontman wanted you to meet with a recruiter to count how many cards both of you have handed out and how many were left.
It didn’t made a lot of sense but there you were; waiting for a tall man with navy suit and black tie.
You look around, trying to spot said man. Coming down the streets you saw a briefcase.
And nothing prepared you to discover said recruiter was your dear husband.
Your blood pressure lowered, and on the verge of feeling dizzy, you turned after seeing your husband looking around.
Your first thought was to take off your shoes and coat. The grey heels and red coat would easily give you away.
As you do so, you start walking away, feeling extremely uneasy.
Your heels start sounding louder as you start running. You know it will start drawing unwanted attention, possibly your husband’s as well.
He couldn’t see you, he heard some heels and looked for the person wearing them. But he only distinguished the silhouette of a woman.
She looked a lot like you.
The salesman hurried to move across the busy station. Everyone was waiting the arrival of the train. He immediately started wondering if it was actually you. And what were you doing in Busan?
When he tried to reach the woman, she was already out of the station. And the salesman realized he should have paid more attention to your sudden changes. If he didn’t love you as much as he did, he would’ve tracked you down every single day until he was able to unmask the truth.
But your husband loved you. Even when he was insane.
He pulled out his phone and dialed your number.
You grabbed a cab and set the route back home. Your phone ringed and you tried to calm yourself before answering.
“Yes?”
“Are you still at the office?” Your husband asked with feigned innocence.
“No. I made an appointment to get my hair done” he nods, feeling slightly relived for some reason.
“And you?” You suddenly feel insecure. Because you saw him at the station.
“I’m still at the workplace…”
Liar…
“Oh, okay, honey. I’ll see you tonight…” you say, smiling.
But how bad could you feel when you were also lying? You had a hair appointment but it was a couple of blocks away from the apartment.
The salesman sat on the train. He never did so, he always stood straight, ready to walk out. But the odd moment was making him more uneasy than it should.
His phone vibrated, but it wasn’t the phone he used just for you. It was his work phone.
He opened the message and he stared at it in silence.
A picture of you at the station. With the red coat and grey heels he saw you wearing in the morning.
“Tell your wife to send the record of the people she recruited”
The salesman couldn’t hide his surprise.
…
You didn’t consider the way restaurants decorated everything with hearts and too many balloons, making the place look like too much. You loved it.
The place your husband picked was gorgeous. Both of you had nearly finished a bottle of wine, with exquisite plates and a tiramisu to die for.
“I love the way your new haircut looks” your husband admits, making you blush immediately. “Really? Thanks, love”
“Did you get it done before or after going to Busan to recruit players?” he was smiling, not sweetly but cynically.
“What?” he chuckles at your shy question.
“Now, don’t be shy, blossom” You sip at your glass of wine as he hands his credit card to a waitress. “I asked you a question. Answer me…”
You sigh, brushing some hair away from your forehead.
“Because I will gladly reveal to you that I’m also a recruiter….” half of you were relieved but the other was extremely confused. “I was once a pink guard. I knew the thrill of killing my father as he lost a game would get me far”
You gasp, almost covering your mouth.
He had said his father fell ill after the war and eventually perished.
“I love the face of the poor souls that play with me and feel like they’ve won” There’s something about his behavior that alerts you. About an unknown side of your husband. “Then I remind them how fucked up they are, the desperation they carry”
He knows you are analyzing every word and gesture he is doing. He doesn’t mean to scare you. He is testing you.
“I did to help my parents” You can’t look him in the eye, you are shocked. “To help them pay their bills and buy a new home. I wasn’t going to ask you for help with this”
“I would’ve traveled to your hometown and handed them every single dollar in person, y/n,” he says with a cheeky and proud smile. “With every single thing I do, you’re on my mind. Every single person I hand a card to, I hope you’ve never known them. Every single person I kill, I check to walk home neat and clean. All so I don’t have to scare you…”
Your husband was insane.
“And you think I wouldn’t have helped you pay your parent’s bills? Be honest with yourself, my dear wife…” you gulp, you feel like he is drinking your fear. “You accepted the job because you also fill the thrill like me…”
Was he right? You didn’t know yet. But you wouldn’t let him get away with it.
“I have been doing this for two months, you have been in this for years!” you don’t let your broken voice expose you. “Let’s not point anyone here”
The salesman sits there, with his hands under his chin and looking neutrally odd for the situation. However, he had never seen you mad at him before. Just once a couple of months after you started dating. But now, as a marriage, it felt odd, worse.
Your teary eyes make him feel almost wrong. He never wanted to be the reason for your cries.
And yet, he felt a burning rage, because you lied to him.
You turn away, standing up.
“Where are you going?” He asks patiently.
“Home, I’ll see you there…” you say between the tears.
Everything feels so odd. You can’t completely control your emotions at that moment. You just walk some blocks away.
You want to overthink the situation, but you can’t.
All you knew was that it scared you more to admit you were as twisted and evil as your husband than to accept he was actually like that.
Your work phone vibrates and you already know who sent the “See me in room 14, red building” message.
…
You carelessly blow out the smoke of your cigar inside the room. One arm under your breasts and the other holding the cigar between your index and middle finger.
“Why the fuck didn’t you tell me my husband was also part of this?” You ask looking through the big crystal window. You could see the long line outside of the restaurant you had left half an hour ago.
“Because I didn’t know at the beginning” you huff, smoking again, ignoring the way you could feel his eyes wandering across your figure. “And then I understood my best salesman was married to my best saleswoman”
The moment you stepped inside and the frontman met you sat on a leather couch with his mask on, you prayed you to be home with your sociopathic husband.
“This will prove our ‘till death do us part’…” you attempt to joke, without smiling or trying to sound funny.
In-ho stands up and you feel him stand behind you.
You remain still when his hands land on your hips, it doesn’t feel the same as when your husband does it.
“This is the first time we’ll try to host two games per year. One in the spring and one in the fall…” he says slowly. “I have to go because I’m a busy man, you know that, dear y/n”
“And what is my job?” In-ho smiles, eager to see your face but willing to wait until you finish your cigar.
“You and your husband must soothe the waters so Seong Gi-hun will stop trying to find us…” you sigh, not prepared to start working with your husband.
“Very romantic” you blurt out, stepping on the cigar and then the hands in your hips made you twist around so you could face your boss properly.
“Make me proud, blossom” you almost spitted at him.
Only your husband made it sound normal whenever he gave you a nickname.
“Yes, sir…” But it doesn’t matter, you can’t fight. You would protect your husband at any cost. And defying the frontman meant danger. Why provoke it?
“Good girl,” he says, turning away.
…
It couldn’t be because of money. The salesman was wealthy enough to take care of you in every single aspect. He never told you to quit your job because he knew you loved it and you felt proud for contributing financially with him.
A lover? You didn’t have male friends for starters. Your husband was aware that you were a rare case of contained extroversion due to a lack of friends.
He was crazy enough to deal with you and get so used to end up falling in love.
But yes, he believed you it was because of the money. Your family was so important to you. He never understood, because he never experienced the same love as you.
He took off his blazer, grabbed a bottle of soju sat in the living room, and loosened his black tie.
The clock marked 12:40 pm, you were taking longer than expected.
Then the door opened.
You were drenched in blood.
It didn’t surprise the salesman. He stared at you and you briefly eyed him, then turned to take your keys.
At that point, it didn’t matter anymore. He knew you weren’t as sweet as you appeared. And you knew your husband wasn’t as good as he looked. You had to kill a man for almost exposing part of the organization.
You sighed and walked past your husband.
“Where do you think you’re going?” You hear his deep voice.
He was manspreading on the big couch and looked utterly consumed by his thoughts.
“We’re talking after I take a shower. I won’t do it while I’m drenched in blood…” he chuckles, making you realize he might not be tremendously surprised. He wasn’t even shocked about the blood. He already knew your true nature.
“Come here, darling…” The way he speaks is demanding.
You hesitate but step forward until you end up standing between his legs.
“Take off your clothes, please…” you scoff, chuckling, he doesn’t change his cold expression. “What?”
“Take off your clothes, blossom…”
You lock your eyes with him and do as he says.
It felt like a little competition. But nobody was winning.
Your flesh was exposed. Just like you were brought to earth. Your husband started to look down.
Maroon painting your neck, chest, and legs.
He makes you lay on the fancy carpet of the living room.
The blood is almost dry, but splotches still ruin the light brown carpet in the living room. You feel the deep gaze of your husband, but you only stare at the ceiling, feeling a little bold. You had no problem with showing him that he couldn’t easily scare you.
And then you hear him pulling something out.
A gun…
The cold unleashes some fire in your lower belly as your husband holds a revolver and starts tracing imaginary patterns from your neck, down to the valley of your breasts.
“You have been lying to me…” he pretends to be offended, you suppress a moan when he keeps lowering the gun, inches away from your pelvis. “I thought there were no lies between us…”
“I didn’t know how to tell you” you admit, closing your eyes, trying not to look like you are taking so much pleasure from your husband showing you a hidden side of himself. “And it seems like you didn’t know how to tell me either…”
“No, no, no. You knew my job was dangerous” He pouts, dragging the gun up and down your wet folds. “I just never told you exactly what it was about”
“Who cares? It’s the only secret we’ve kept from each other, let’s work in our commutation and that’s it…”
“I don’t think so, love” he objects, slipping the gun inside you, erupting a moan from you, he smirked. “I’m going to show why good girls shouldn’t lie to their husbands”
He set a restlessly low pace that made you lift your hips, but he pushed them back against the couch.
When you least expect it, you had already gushed around his gun, probably ruining it. He was naked and fucking you in a possessive matting press position.
“Tell me how much you love,” he says in between breaths.
“Fuck- I-, I love you so fucking much” you moan”
He was another man, you were another woman. Suddenly the marriage felt renewed, to the max.
“Say you’re sorry” he demands, fucking you harder, your eyes close in pleasure but you are thinking clearly. “Say you’re sorry too” you fight back, his hips align better and you can’t help but feel your eyes get teary as his tip brushes a special spot. You can’t help it…
“Oh- god- I’m sorry” you admit, little tears sliding down, but your husband is insane so he leans and without slowing down his pace, he licks your tears. “I’m sorry too”
It feels too good, more than usual. You feel your core tightening and your hips trying to meet him impossibly closer.
“Admit it, you are not as innocent as you want to appear” he spats out, his moans leading you closer to your fourth orgasm of the night. “You take joy in the chaos of having some power others don’t have…”
Busted.
You know something has changed. Like a superscar freshly appearing in your marriage. And somehow, you don’t feel bad about it anymore.
“Admit and you’ll see why we perfectly fitted like puzzle pieces since the beginning” he urges you.
“I do…” you confess.
The air feels lighter, your stomach tenses, and your back arches.
As you throw back your head and close your eyes, you hear your husband say he loves you again.
His warm cum floods your walls and you feel full. And satisfied…
There’s no turning back. You were bound to recruit people for some deadly games, to track down people and kill them if necessary. All along your husband.
“I knew I was right about you,” he says, pressing his forehead between your breasts.
“You’re the love of my life” you don’t say anything for some minutes, you only stare at the perfect ceilings of the apartment. But you think too much about his touch.
Your husband loved you. He could drain all the blood from a corpse with his hands and make love to you with said hands. He would leave aside his insane nature just to come home and make you happy. And he would accept your also insane nature and love you the same. If not, more…
“You’re the love of my life too” you finally answer, cradling his face and kissing him in the lips.

Jesus tap-dancing Christ lol. I'm reblogging this so more people see it.
Imagine wanting to inflict real-world harm on a random person for liking two fictional characters together. "How else will they learn" learn what, dipshit? That they shouldn't like drawing two fictional characters together? Land a complete stranger in the hospital for making a pair of talking cookies kiss, THAT'LL show 'em.
You don't have to like ShadowVanilla, or any Beast x Ancient ship (let's be real here, whoever this is probably feels the same way about the other pairs too). But this behavior is plain unacceptable. Imagine someone actually went through with this, hurt someone, and got caught. How do they even defend themselves in court? What the hell would they say to the judge? "Your Honor, this person whom I have never seen or spoken to before in my life enjoyed seeing this blue clown cookie kiss a yellow-ish Jesus allegory cookie. I HAD to do it! They're toxic! And abusive! And [insert BeastAncient slander here]" you know how fucking unhinged that sounds? And it sounds like that because it IS. It's fucking ridiculous. Shame on anyone who thinks otherwise. Idk how old this bozo is but they need help, good Lord

Pairing: Lando Norris x Florist!reader
Summary: When a certain customer of yours asks for a special bouquet on Valentine’s Day.
Word Count: 1.1k
Disclaimer/s: fluff!!!! cute little florist reader yas!!!!
Vera’s Voice! happy valentine’s day!!! lando fluff to make ur day or wtv Haaiii :3 gonna pub some more later too!!!
The morning sun spilled through the large front window of your flower shop, casting a golden glow over the display of fresh blooms.
The scent of roses, lilacs, and eucalyptus lingers in the air, mixing with the faint aroma of coffee from the cup beside your register.
It’s Valentine’s Day—the busiest day of the year, but it felt like an oddly slow morning.
You barely had a second to breathe before the familiar chime of the bell above the door rang, signaling a customer.
You glance up from tying a delicate satin ribbon around a bouquet and immediately recognize the messy brown curls and striking eyes of a familiar and reoccurring customer.
A soft smile tugs at your lips before you can stop it.
“Oh, Lando,” You greet, brushing a few stray flower petals from your apron. “Good morning!” Your soft grin lingered as he approached the counter.
Lando grinned, shoving his hands into the pockets of his hoodie. He looks comfortable, as if he belonged here, despite the slight contrast of his casual attire against the elegant floral arrangements around him.
“Morning,” His voice warm, like a gentle breeze on a spring morning.
You arch a playful brow. “And what brings you in today? Looking for something special? For… someone special?” You tilt your head teasingly, though you were begging deep down inside it was just a joke.
Lando chuckles, leaning against the wooden counter like he has all the time in the world. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
You rolled your eyes, though the soft flutter in your chest betrayed you.
For months now, Lando has come into the shop nearly every Sunday when he’s in town. It was weird to see him on a Friday, but it was Valentine’s day after all.
At first, you assumed he just really liked fresh flowers, which was endearing in itself. But after a while, you joked that he must have had a house full of vases by now, and he’d just grinned and shrugged, offering no real explanation.
But little did you know.
Still, you liked his presence. The way he always struck up easy conversations, made you laugh on even the most exhausting days.
It was harmless, really. Except, lately, you’d caught yourself hoping his visits meant something more.
And that was dangerous.
“Alright, then,” You say, crossing your arms. "What can I get for you today? Any of your usual arrangements?
He shakes his head, pretending to think. "Actually, I’ve got a different request today."
"Oh?" You raise an eyebrow, intrigued. “Do tell!”
Lando leaned in slightly, as if he’s about to share some big secret. "If you were a girl receiving a bouquet of your choice… what flowers would you like?"
Your hands stilled. “Me?”
Lando nodded, watching you too closely. “Yeah. What would you pick?”
You frown in thought, reaching out to gently touch a bundle of tulips on a display beside you. “Something soft but meaningful.” You pause, picturing it. “Tulips, for grace and renewal.”
“Maybe some dahlias, because they’re bold yet elegant. Some chamomile for a touch of whimsy, and sprigs of lavender for a calming, fragrant finish.” Your fingers skim the edge of a nearby vase as you visualize it. “Nothing too extravagant—just something that feels gentle and full of warmth.”
Lando hums, nodding as if committing every detail to memory. “That does sound perfect. Think you could put that together for me?”
You hesitate, curiosity bubbling up. He’s never been this specific before. You wonder who the bouquet is for—but you don’t ask.
“Of course.” You smile softly.
It is Valentine’s Day, after all. He’s probably seeing someone. You felt a slight pang in your chest at the thought, a quiet, unwelcome squeeze of disappointment.
But you push it down, telling yourself it’s silly to care. He’s just a regular, and you’re just the florist.
Still, the idea lingers as you get to work, selecting each bloom with delicate nature.
Lando stayed close, watching your hands move with quiet fascination.
“You ever get flowers?” He asked, breaking the silence.
You glance at him, surprised by the question. “Me?”
He smirks. “Yeah, you.”
You shrug. “Not really.” A pause. “I guess when you’re around flowers all day, people assume you don’t need any.”
Lando hums, thoughtful. “That’s a shame. Everyone should get flowers sometimes.”
You smile softly but don’t respond, focusing on tying the bouquet together. Once it’s wrapped in parchment paper and secured with a ribbon, you step back, admiring the finished product.
“There you go,” You say, offering it to him. “Hope she loves them.”
Lando pulled out his wallet, paid, and then—to your utter confusion—immediately held the bouquet back out to you.
You blink. “Wha…?”
Lando pulled a small envelope out his pocket, handing it to you. He offered a hesitant but kind smile as you carefully took the bouquet back, along with the neatly sealed card.
Unfolding the contents inside, your eyes softened at the words as you read them.
In neat but slightly rushed handwriting, nine simple words stared back at you:
Let me take you to dinner. Be my Valentine?
Your breath catches.
Slowly, you look up, your heart pounding.
Lando shifts on his feet, rubbing the back of his neck, but his grin remains. “So.. What do you say?”
You stare at him for a moment, warmth blooming in your chest like the very flowers in your hands.
“Well,” You murmur, brushing your fingers over the petals, “I do love these flowers.”
Lando’s grin lights up the room. “I would’ve hoped so.”
“Yeah, real smooth.” You flashed a smile, inhaling the scent of the flowers once more.
And now, you were no longer just the florist with the soft smile.
Tonight, you were his Valentine.

Will text you a 3-paragraph explanation for why they took 5 minutes to reply. 📱
Probably debated with your siblings (if you have any) so much as a child they now have trust issues.
Flirts like it's a TED Talk—informative, persuasive, and slightly exhausting.
Looks like their pen was possessed by a demon mid-word. 👻
Your brain runs at 5G speed, but their mouth runs at 6G.

Probably has 50 tabs opened at once.
ADHD? I've seen this placement with people who has mercury in 3rd house.
Mercury in the 4th House: "Let’s Overthink Our Childhood."📝
When they talk it sounds like a therapist even when giving food orders.

On their social media accounts, they posts sentimental throwbacks way too much.
Biggest Flaw: Lives in the past.
Mercury in the 5th House: "Flirting is My Second Language."📝
Flirty, dramatic, and annoyingly charming.

Was the funny but annoying child.
Can’t take anything seriously.

Will only befriend "useful people."
Mostly posts work-related updates.
Mercury in the 11th House: "I'm the human embodiment of a Reddit thread"📝
Speaks like they’re in a sci-fi movie.
Tech startup, social activist, or online troll.
In love, probably falls for their best friend.
Might like the idea of "open-minded" relationships.
The "black sheep" of the family.
Handwriting: Either it looks like it belongs on a protest sign or kinda bad.
Mercury in the 12th House: "Did I Say That Out Loud?"
Mumbles, forgets what they were saying.
Job/Career: Psychic, therapist, or mysterious writer. If writes, these people would write under a pen name.
Either super close to their siblings or never speaks to them.
Very much into horror, psychological thriller movies.
Handwriting: Looks like a haunted diary.
Terrible at explaining emotions but fantastic at writing it.
Mercury is where your brain lives, where your mouth runs, and where your Wi-Fi connection to reality glitches. 😆🌍✨

a/n: I tried my best especially for a car sex fic😭 i’m so glad you guys give me ideas because I swear I had NO motivation for the past few weeks.. ALSO GO LISTEN TO MUTT BY LEON THOMAS!!
It felt so good.
Yet it was so wrong.
It all started when we visited Boston around Thanksgiving, Which ended up with me meeting Nate.
Though he was a likable guy, we exchanged glances.
And not platonic ones.
The next time, Chris, Nick, Matt, and I went to Boston it gave me and Nate time to “catch up” with each other.
That's how I found myself in the backseat of his car.
FAST FORWARD
His hips started thrusting up, his movements going from slow and gentle to rough and fast. His balls smacked against your ass with each and every thrust.
“S-shit missed those so fuckin’ badly.” His grip on your hips was easily hard enough to leave multiple bruises, obviously not caring if Matt saw them or not, you’d just come up with another lie.
You guys were making such a fucking mess, all types of substances leaking all over the leather car seats, the windows were completely fogged up, thin layers of sweat dripping everywhere.
The two were completely in pure bliss before Nate’s phone started to ring. It was Matt. It was always matt.
“Shit it’s matt, y’gotta be quiet f’me” you only let out a quiet whimper in response. Your sweat hands slapped over your mouth before he answered the phone.
While talking to matt he flipped you over on your stomach so your whimpering and whining didn’t pick up as much.
“Wassup matt?” His pants somehow shallowed down making it sound like he isn’t going balls deep in his girl. “Are you guys almost ready? We’re trying to hurry up dude”.
Course he was acting entitled. As always. “Yeah just wait a few minutes, y/n’s looking for her- glasses” he lied through his teeth, somewhat trying to see if matt actually payed attention to small things.
“Oh alright, just like— try and hurry up a bit” Matt spoke before hanging up.
You don’t wear glasses.
The minute the screen went to the call screen and back to the message, Nate threw his phone into the front seat and went right back to driving into you.
"look so pretty taking my cock like a good little slut, you must love the idea of cheating on Matt with his best friend, huh? Do you?" Nate grunted, The degrading making you moan loudly.
A sweaty hand slapped against the window, “Nate,” you gasp, clenching around him. “That feel good pr-pretty girl?” You could only blubber out somewhat coherent sentences.
M’so close. I gotta—fuck, I gotta cum!” With each harsh snap of his hips, the sticky, creamy sappy mixture pooled up around the base of his dick.
“Yeah?” He paused so he could take a short breather. “You’re gonna cum? Shit— m’close too, where you want it?”
“I-in me please, please Nate I need it” His hips faltered before you felt his warm seed fill you up in long spurts.
His thrusts continued until your earth shattering orgasm came, making you see specks of white each time you blinked.
Winding down after a few moments of zoning out and panting, Nate opened his glove compartment and got out some napkins to wipe you and the seats up.
“Shit we gotta hurry up, it’s been a while,” Nate spoke out, grabbing a stick of deodorant and applied it to himself and handed it to you to apply.
“Nate— do you think they’re suspicious of us?” You spoke up, your voice slightly worn out but still clear as day.
“Yeah probabl—“ his phone rang again, a text from Matt, “I swear this dude”. He pulled up his pants and boxers while you continued to get dressed.
He reached for the backseat to grab his found and unlocked it. His fingers already typing.
“Nate what the fuck are you gonna say to him,” You spoke up while glimpsing over his shoulder. “You gotta tell him eventually y’know. Since you won’t do it”
“I’ll do it.”
