The Best Day | l.c
Summary: It’s Valentine’s Day, and your boyfriend has everything perfectly planned.
☆ 18+ minors dni |☀︎fluff | ♕smut | ♥︎ completed
Word Count: 1589 words
Pairing: Lee Chan x Female Reader
Genre/Trope(s)/AU(s): Smut, Fluff
Content Warnings: Valentine’s Day fluff, silly dad jokes, funny banter (I think). Inaccurate but vague descriptions of Korea’s scenery. I googled images—kissing and Dino driving.
Smut Warning: oral sex (fem receiving), food play (whipped cream)—ass slapping, spanking just once. I'm drooling over Chan, but that’s normal. Orgasms
Authors Note 1: This is written for @svthub's Cupid for You collab and my lovely wife, @bitchlessdino 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷. I adore you so much, my darling. This was relatively last minute, but I hope you like it! I love you, my darling—Happy Belated Valentine’s Day.

“Chan, I will fall!” You protested as your boyfriend insisted you wear a blindfold as he helped you out of the house.
“Shh, trust the process, baby,” Chan cooed.
“What process? You are kidnapping me with zero details,” you whined.
“Three years, you have so little faith in me?” Chan asked, feigning hurt.
“You’ve blindfolded me and told me to dress comfy and said all we’re doing is something fun,” you said.
“Sorry baby, I need to be vague for our Valentine,” Chan declared.
“Shit,” Chan mumbled as he helped you into the car.
“That’s what we're doing?” You exclaimed as Chan mumbled a ‘yes.
“It was meant to be a surprise,” Chain complained as he got into the car and the driver's seat and you could hear the pout in his voice.
You blindly reached out your hand over the console, placed it on Chan’s thigh, and squeezed it slightly.
“All you’ve told me is it’s for Valentine’s, nothing else. Don’t worry, you haven’t told me anything,” you said, attempting to comfort him.
“Phew, then we’re good,” Chan said determinedly.
“Okay, you can take the blindfold off,” Chan instructed.
“Wait, you made me wear a blindfold just to walk from the house to the car?” You exclaimed dramatically as you ripped the blindfold off.
“Yes, if you saw how handsome I looked, I was worried you’d just drag me back to bed,” Chan said with a wink. You rolled your eyes at his admission.
“You are hot, and you’re right. I would have dragged you back to bed, but I do have self-control,” you joked.
“Not that I’ve seen,” Chan said with a smirk.
“Shut up.”
As Chan drove, you both embarked on your road trip through Seoul. The landscape unfolded before you like a painting. As you both left the bustling cityscape behind, you found yourselves slowly cruising along the winding roads that led you to the lush green countryside.
The journey was picturesque as you both navigated through serene valleys adorned with vibrant cherry blossoms, and their delicate petals danced in the gentle breeze. You saw mountains that stood majestically in the distance, and their peaks shrouded in wisps of mist, creating a scene straight out of a postcard.
You pass by quaint villages, where you catch glimpses of traditional Korean architecture, that had been so well preserved. You observed lush, emerald coloured rice paddies, that created a patchwork of greenery.
As the drive continued, the road meandered along the coastline, allowing you to steal a breathtaking view of the sea, the way it sparkled with the sun. You saw the waves rise and crash, and you took a breath, as you soaked in the tranquility of the sea.
You saw cascading waterfalls tumbling down moss-covered rocks, serene temples nestled in verdant forests, and ancient fortresses perched atop rugged hills.
As day drew closer to an end, you saw the sun starting to dip below the horizon, watching as the sky turned into hues of pink and gold, and in that moment you found yourself overcome with joy, love and emotion.
“Chan, this is beautiful,” you sighed as you saw the sights.
“Isn’t it? I wish I could do this more often, but time with you and the sights almost make up for the fact I’m not the best boyfriend,” Chan mumbled.
“Hush, you are the best boyfriend ever, and yes, maybe we have to do things a little differently than most couples, but that doesn’t mean you’re not amazing,” you said, reaching over to run your hand through his hair.
“I think Cupid shot me in the ass because I think I just fell even more head over heels for you,” Chan said smugly, making you roll your eyes.
“You are so lucky. I love you,” you mumbled.
“I am.”
“Holy shit,” you gasped as you walked into the beautiful house Chan had rented.
“You rented this for us?” You asked as he led you into the house, holding your hand.
“Yes, for the entire weekend. Notice that it's super isolated, too? So you can scream as much as you want,” Chan suggested flirty.
“Why would I be screaming?” You asked.
“Because baby, it’s Valentine’s Day, and I’m going to spend it showing you how much I love you multiple times, too,” Chan explained, making you giggle.
“But first, we must set the mood. I am going to get the strawberries and cream,” Chan said.
“Huh?”
“They’re aphrodisiacs,” Chan stated.
“You just want to start fucking straight away, don’t you?” You teased.
“Problem?”
“Nope, but I hope you don’t mind. I didn’t prepare as much for today. I’ve been strapped for cash after online shopping, so do you want to unwrap me instead?” You teased.
“Gladly, you’re the best present, plus I can eat you.”
“Chan! Shut up!”
“Can you please, for the love of god, get hard?” Chan yelled at the bowl of whipping cream that just would not seem to comply.
“Babe, if getting hard is a problem, I hope you realise that it happens to many guys, and there is medication if it persists,” you said. You were peeling the stalks off strawberries, being Chan’s dutiful sous chef, and making smart-ass comments like the last one was high on your resume, and Chan turned around to glare at you.
“Okay, one, don’t quote friends to me. Two shut up.”
“You look hot, by the way,” you complimented, focusing on your strawberries.
“I know I am.”
“Baby, I’m serious. Come here for a second,” you said, motioning him to the kitchen counter where you were sitting.
“Yes?” Chan said as he placed his arms by your legs. You pulled the hoodie of his zipper off and pushed the fabric off his toned body. Chan narrowed his eyes at you.
“Seriously, how is it fair that I am shirtless and you aren’t?” You smiled, rolling your eyes at his comment.
“I’m wearing a shirt. You, on the other hand, like a fucking idiot, wore a hoodie in a kitchen,” you quipped.
“Why are you, my assistant again?” Chan asked.
“Simple, you love me, and you’re a simp.”
“I am.”
You had to bite your lip when you saw your boyfriend’s exposed back. His broad, tanned shoulders and muscles were enough to have you drooling.
“How are the strawberries going?” Chan asked; you grinned as you hatched a plan.
“They’re good,” you mumbled, a mouthful of strawberries, and Chan dropped his whisk into the bowl.
“You’re not meant to be eating them,” he said as he turned around and glared as he saw you suck and bite into a strawberry. The fruit's juices coated your mouth, enough to make Chan snap.
“Okay! That’s enough!”
You looked at Chan innocently as you licked your lips.
“Baby? Is it sweet enough?” You asked, and Chan closed the gap between you as he pulled you in for a kiss. Chan’s hands went to the bottom of your shirt, pulling it off, groaning when he found you naked underneath it.
“Sweet,” he said against your lips.
“Fucking sweet,” he praised as his hands moved to move the glass bowl of strawberries to the other counter.
“Lie down,” Chan said. You nodded, gasping slightly at the cold marble hitting your back.
You felt something cold on your stomach, and it moved its way down to your cunt. “Fuck, Chan, what is that?” You asked.
“Whipped cream, god, and it is going to make that sweet little cunt of yours even sweeter,” Chan said as he lowered his head. You moaned as you felt the whipped cream trail further down. Chan pushed your legs apart as he leaned down to wrap his lips around your cunt.
“Fuck, I was right. So sweet,” Chan praised, making you moan as you tangled your hands in his hair. You felt his lips and tongue move in such delicate yet thorough movements. He left no part of you untouched. It didn’t take long; with the way his full lips wrapped around your clit, and the way his tongue flicked at your clit you came pretty soon.
“Fuck, you somehow taste sweeter than the cream,” Chan said as he helped you sit up on the counter.
“Come on, let’s get you to the shower. I want you to cream for me,” you glared at him.
“Do you ever think your jokes might be the biggest turn-off for me?” You joked, and Chan threw you over his shoulder and slapped your ass, making you moan. Chan smirked.
“Yeah, that moan proves otherwise.”

Thank you to anon for requesting this! Also hey first req!
Himbos & Flowers
Synopsis: You are a florist at a small not well known shop that you inherited from your family, the only people who come there to buy and support your small business is your close friends. This time they brought over a new friend that has seemed to be interested in you...
Small warning for cursing!
Genre; Fluff, College au(?), Non idol au, florist reader.
G/n reader x Mingyu. 983 words 5,278 characters
I didn't proof read this!
After your Grandparents passing who previously owned the store, now it was your time to run this store!
-------------------------------------------------------
" This place looks like an absolute mess. " you said with a hopeless expression on your face as you looked at Minghao who was equally disgusted.
" Thanks for offering to help me Hao! The others seemed like they didn't want to... "
" I know why now. I didn't know it was that bad of a state, I thought they were over exaggerating everything again." You grabbed the broom and looked at minghao
" You're carrying the furniture"
" Fuck you, I just got my nails done. "
-------------------------------------------------------
You and Minghao were breathing heavily while looking around the room feeling a bit proud of your work, this was just the start of your little business. Soon this whole new renovation project of yours turned from days to weeks to months.
You rarely had the money to bring im furniture but your friends knew a guy and he funded your project. I swear you were so relieved you could have died if you had to spend another penny.
It wasn't easy but, finally it was opening day! You weren't expecting much people since you rarely advertised to others, only your close friends and family knew about this.
You decided to hire the boys since they were such good helpers in the renovating process(stress levels were higher than mouth everest).
Jun, Seungkwan, Seungcheol , Dk were working behind the cashier.
Woozi, Hoshi, Jeonghan, Joshua, Vernon were incharge of taking care of the plants.
Minghao, Dino & Wonwoo were social media team.
-------------------------------------------------------
" I feel so nervous, I bet no one will show up anyways! Its always like this every year. " you took a peak outside of the windows curtains, you only saw about 1-2 people anyways
"Cheer up y/n! I'm sure you can atleast get well a few more people. Our social media team is very good! " Dk reassured you, patting your back.
"Plus isn't it like 2 hours early? I'm sure time will pass by and more people will come " seungkwan commented, yeah he was right tho. Maybe you should stop worrying and focus on getting things ready for the non existent customers .
Opening time now. " shit, what if they all went away. My stomach hurts... " you placed your arms on your stomach covering it. "Well don't puke all over me.. " minghao rolled his eyes and looked at you with his iconic sassy face
" Its probably pre opening jitters, it will dissappear eventually! " the gentleman Joshua tried to calm you down as you seungkwan signaled that you opened the door. You hesitantly opened the door and flipped the sign to "open". " Welcome to Fallin' Flower shop! "
....
Suddenly people were SWARMING the store which shocked you, Jesus there was arround maybe 30 people waiting for this place to open.
" All the plants here are so well grown and displayed! " a customer commented, another said " No wonder why mingyu got excited over this place! " Mingyu?.. whos that.
" I know right! Mingyu has good taste in shops, I don't know how I never knew about this place before!! "
"Seems that Mingyu has seen my posts. Huh that idiots always posting, its expected that hes seen it. " wonwoo commented
Seriously who is mingyu... " Who? " you said dumbfounded at everyones comments
" You seriously don't know who that is??! " " No? " seungkwan was so close to shaking your dumbass " He's one of the most famous social media influencers in Korea right no! HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY NOT KNOW HIM. "
" And he's one of my closest friends since high school " Wonwoo added
" His name rings a bell, But why should I care? It's not like I'll ever meet him. "
Seungkwan looked at you like you just offended the president or something
" How stupid do you have to be to not connect the dots?... " seungkwan took one of the boxes that were sent by the mysterious donner and pointed at the writing "K.MG... try to guess what that stands for. "
" Oh. " oh is correct, but how the fuck did THE Kim Mingyu decide that this was the place he is going to donate to.
Suddenly you heard screams from outside, well not screams of terror but more of excitement.
" Here comes the dumbass ... " Minghao sighed as you looked over to see a very attractive man, he was tall and had a good figure.
He was surrounded by people, they almost look like they were crushing him.
Seungkwan quickly ran over to the door and closed the door and yelled " Thank you everyone for coming over were now closed for today goodbye! " and slammed the door
" I knew that people were that crazy over influencers but not thay crazy.... " you watched as the crowed became less and less after a few minutes.
After awhile the crowed completely disappeared, the tall man came inside the shop looking tired, he was basically gasping for air.
" Sorry it took me awhile to get in, *huff* "
The guy looked at you and he instantly felt like he choked on his own saliva, did he just fall for you on the spot?? Yes, he did.
You went up to him holding a glass of water "Here, you must be thirsty. "
God, mingyu couldn't even look you in the eyes, " You look better in person... " he mumbled out
"Hm, What was that? " " Oh, nothing.. thanks for the water. "
" Oh my god the himbos inlove 😟" jeonghan said, the rest of the guys all agreed as they were all just watching you two from the counter.
" So, want to hang out? " Hehe sure, meet me after we close the store at night. "

svt as camp half-blood demigods
tags: camp half blood au, greek demigods
cabin one: zeus seungcheol
of course, cheol is the son of the king of olympus. he has a presence that commands respect, and sometimes, he radiates the aura of a king too. as one of the senior campers, he deals with a great deal of responsibility while using the respect to direct younger campers in a meaningful way. he likes to give tours to the newcomers, since it makes them less scared to talk to him in the future. his best field is swordfighting, and he’s always bought over for capture the flag.
cabin three: poseidon joshua
there was no one quite as poseidon’s kid as josh. he’s known around camp half-blood for his suave charms, as smooth as the sea and smelling like sea breeze. the aphrodite kids like to mess with him because he always takes their jokes in stride, being respectful yet mischievous enough to hit them back with something playfully. he enjoys talking with the naiads by the lake and surfing in the sound whenever the tide is right. he swims daily and always wears a seashell on his camp necklace. he excels in swordfighting and likes feeding the pegasi. (they always have something interesting to say to him about something.)
cabin four: demeter vernon
one with nature is vernon. you can usually find him out in the strawberry fields with the satyrs and nymphs. he’s interested in hearing their stories and hearing the nymph gossip (which runs deep and is very layered with hundreds of years of history). his cabin is filled with pots of plants and seeds that are awaiting planting. he’s not a fan of a lot of violent activities, but he excels in the more crafty and nifty stuff. he’d like to call himself more of a behind-the-scenes guy and leaves the fighting to the other cabins.
cabin five: ares jun
truly, there is no one who expected jun to be an ares kid. he’s a soft character when you first meet him, but he gets more lively later on. people say he should’ve ended up in a different cabin, but jun likes the liveliness and energy that the ares cabin brings. physically, he’s inclined more towards many different types of fighting. he’s good with the bow and arrow and also with the sword. he’s more of a jack of all trades when it comes to that stuff, which makes him kind of popular within the ares cabin. his easy going nature makes him more popular outside of his half-siblings.
cabin six: athena wonwoo, woozi, mingyu
even before he was claimed, the hermes kids were pushing wonwoo to stay with the athena kids. it was so obvious, even from the start. he’s bookish and a good strategic mind. he’s always calculating some strategy to help defeat the other team in capture the flag. he gets very into it, and he’s versatile enough to be defending the flag or capturing the other team’s flag. he’s usually seen tutoring the other kids in greek mythology.
many people speculated where woozi was going to go. his music writing skills pointed him towards the apollo kids… his physical prowess pointing him to the ares kids… his demeanor pointing him towards the empty hades cabin… but ultimately, he ended up in athena’s cabin. he fights with a shortsword and is often seen hanging around the apollo kids. he’s a good recruiter to get them to join them in capture the flag.
mingyu was someone everyone expected to either be claimed by ares or aphrodite. (and trust me, aphrodite wished she had mingyu as her son, much to the smugness of athena.) but, mingyu was in peak form when he worked using his head, and he has a lot of talent in many different areas. it made him the perfect athena child, so be physically and mentally competent. most people don’t expect it from him, so he uses it to his own advantage.
cabin seven: apollo deekay, dino
deekay is a literal ball of sunshine. this was another one that everyone could see from a mile away. he radiates happiness and glows with the sunlight. you can usually find him on the volleyball court with his half-siblings, challenging others to a friendly match. he likes kayaking and his favorite role in capture the flag is border patrol. he’s not much for the fighting scene, being a healer-type instead of the bow-and-arrows-type of apollo kid.
if there was anyone no one knew was going to be an apollo kid, it was dino. he spent a lot of time in the hermes cabin unclaimed before moving to the apollo cabin, so he was used to their presence. even after getting claimed, he finds himself hanging out with them a lot. he’s talented in swordfighting, which is more unusual compared to his half-siblings, but they’re very supportive of his uniqueness.
cabin ten: aphrodite seungkwan
the it-boy of the aphrodite cabin is none other than seungkwan. he’s a good gossip and mediator of conversation, making him popular amongst his half-siblings and around the camp. he’s basically their spokesperson, though he isn’t the head counselor. he’s really into the skincare aspect of beauty, and his goal is to make his own skincare line for demigods. he has big dreams ahead of him.
cabin eleven: hermes jeonghan
of course the son of the god of pranks and tricksters would be jeonghan. stolen from the camp store? been there, done that. broke into a building? also done before. he’s the head counselor of their cabin because he’s responsible enough to not get caught with his pranks unlike some of his other siblings. he’s handy with a blade and easily underestimated due to his thin frame. however, he’s incredibly athletic and known for his prowess in climbing the lava wall.
cabin twelve: dionysus hoshi, myungho
now this is a combination of siblings no one really expected.
really going with dionysus being the god of parties, hoshi is outgoing and peppy. a lot of people thought he would be in cabin five with jun, but he’s definitely dionysus’s kid. it’s weird seeing your dad as “mr. d” and hearing less than great stories about him, but hoshi always takes it with stride. he’s the head counselor and always looking to make things more fun with a good can of diet coke.
no one really expected myungho to be a dionysus kid, but he’s just like his dad in the way that the strawberries go crazy around him. everyone’s sure that he would have the same effect on grapes, but no one’s allowed to test it out because zeus hates mr.d right now. he’s pretty mellow, but he makes a mean kombucha.
#daegutowns#svt camp half blood au#pjo au#svt demigods au#only 12 cabins#i wanted to add more cabins but it becomes too complex

Day 3: Sun Day Day 5: Rain Day
One thing about Reborn that everyone knows is that he never rejects a mission. Since he bulldozed his way into the mafia world with a gun and a fedora, he had never rejected a single mission that has gotten onto his table. He had killed who he was paid to killed, kidnapped who he had to kidnapped, torture who he needed to torture, and scared who he needed to scare. In fact, he had even killed his hirer multiple times because his hirer's target offered him more money to kill his hirer. And after killing his hirer, he would kill the target his first hirer commissioned him to kill. In conclusion, he would just kill whoever offered him money to kill.

Chapter 1: glass coffin
Simple as that.
But he was starting to question why did he not follow his--and Leon's--guts to reject the mission Tsuna--his goddamn second kid who resembled more and more like Dino--had asked (ASKED!!) him to do. The young man--no longer a screeching child--gave him a sheepish smile that he thought he had beaten out of him as he handed him the mission file.
Rather. A map.
"What is this." He said. Not a question, but a statement.
"A map--" "I know its a fucking map--" "that Hayato found in G's room."
Reborn raised an eyebrow as Tsuna sighed. "He was tearing down the room because it was 'too gaudy' for his liking--" G does have a penchant for Victorian style decoration. "--and he found this stuck in a wall. When he opened it, he found a key and this map." Tsuna handed him the key next.
When Reborn touched it, his first thought was how cold it was, despite being in Tsuna's grasp for possibly 5 minutes. Not enough to warm it, but enough for it not to be this ice cold.
"At first, he wanted to go find whatever that is marked in the map himself, but Bianchi accidentally made him out of commission with her new soup." Tsuna winced.
"And? He could've gone there himself after he recovered. It wasn't as though Bianchi didn't nurture an iron stomach out of him." Reborn deadpanned as he opened up the map to see it marking a spot in a forest, a tiny spot. It was in the middle of the forest, for sure, and comparing it to the current map of Italia with geographical indication in his mind, it was at the peak of a mountain. Great.
"... Would you believe he got haunted by G?"
... Reborn would. In fact, he knew Gokudera was haunted by G because the primo dudes, man. They had never left. Always around. In fact, Reborn believed that they were probably hovering around above them somewhere, listening into this conversation.
"... Go on." "Well.... G gave him hell for tearing down his room and gave him migraine every day so right now he has been in Shamal's, bedridden... And--" Tsuna sighed and rubbed his temple. "And Giotto told me that whatever was marked in the map, it wasn't something Hayato should find. What was weirder, he told me that its you who should go."
Right. Where is that damned Primo. He had a gun he wanted to shove into his mouth.
Still, Reborn breathed out in quiet frustration. He rolled up the map and gave Leon the key for safe keeping. "Fine. Tell the old men to shut up after this. The dead don't have rights to commission me." (That, he said, but he still went onto the next missions they asked him to, and that is another story).
So there Reborn was. In the middle of the forest. In his suit that was definitely ill-fitting for a trek, and stared up the barely visible path up the mountain.
... Reborn hates trekking.
But trekked he did because giving up at this point is like he was saying that he's weak and Reborn is anything but. He made a quick way up, all the while complaining to Leon who hung onto his shoulders as he kept his fedora so that it wouldn't fall. Yea at some point he decided climbing up vertically is faster. Hence him getting his hands full of dirt and dust.
"Ugh, I think I just touched a worm. Leon do you want the worm?" Leon snapped its tongue out and caught the worm on Reborn's hand.
Reborn would've cooed if he weren't still hanging on the cliff, dangling by one hand. He nudged Leon to make sure it is hanging on safely onto his shoulder, and heaved himself up. Huffing a stray hair away from his face, he tucked in back under his fedora that Leon kept for him, and scanned the mountain top.
There was... a Singular Oak tree in the middle and nothing else.
Feeling his eyebrow twitch as his annoyance scale shoot up, he willed himself to calm down and breath. In and out, in and out, the way Fon that fucking lunatic would when something triggers him.
At least Leon seemed to be liking the environment. If anything, it'd be worth it if Leon likes it. Reborn would do anything for Leon. Petting it, Reborn walked over to the oak tree. Well, he was there already do why not investigate what the fuck it is.
Staring at the giant tree, Reborn felt that it may have been more than thousands of years old. It would take him maybe 3 minutes to fully circle the tree. For a moment, he wondered how the cliff can hold the weight of that tree but, well, he doesn’t question Mother Nature. Standing underneath it, he looked around for something--anything--that indicates the presence of Vongola in the past. After all, he doubted that Giotto would send him on a wild goose chase even if he was suspecting it more and more as minute ticks by.
"What do you think could be here, Leon--" He touched the thick bark, patting absentmindedly as the green lizard nuzzled against his cheeks, and the earth beneath him went away.
No, he did not scream on his way down.
"God fucking--" Hissing out various types of curse words in different language, he pulled out a dagger to stab into the wall and slow his descend. It slowed down, definitely, but the dagger suddenly jerked to a stop as it hit a stone and broke. The momentum and jolt caused Reborn to jerk too, and fall all the way down without anything to hold on.
He cursed particularly loudly in Russian, and held on for pain.
Only, pain never came. He had fell above a thick bed of flowers, soft and cocooning.
He blinked, and sank down into the sea of red, soft, and poisonous. Leon jabbed him on his cheek as it scrambled up to the top of his fedora that he was clutching, away from the touches of the spider lilies that are prone to give skin rashes. Reborn would poke Leon at its abandonment if not for the shock he had.
He looked up and saw he was probably about two to three stories deep inside the mountain, with minimal light shining down for his sight. The leaves of the oak tree up there rustled, as if waving at him mockingly.
Reborn swore that he would cut that fucking tree down.
He hissed at the small prick that he felt on his skin--the tell-tale itch slowly rising--and pushed himself up. Or, he tried to. He ended up fumbling because the spider lilies were overgrown, and the ground was actually thigh deep. Not for the first time and definitely not the last that he was actually grateful for getting his actual height and body back. Infant size him would've drowned. If he actually let himself fall all the way down, that is. (He actually kind of miss the light body of his then because he could do wild shits like flipping 20 times before landing).
Just as he was looking around for ways climb back up, Leon poked him on the cheek, nudging at a direction. He turned to that way and instantly saw an ice coffin in the middle, wrapped in vines and spider lilies.
'... Where the fuck is my promised treasure...' (No one promised him any treasure.)
Grumbling because if Giotto sent him to do corpse cleaning, he would send the dead man to hell. Though it wasn't the first time he saw a dead person, and he certainly wasn't curious, he decided to just go ahead and see who was resting here. And maybe apologize for disturbing their rest and it wasn't his fault so if they are offended, go find Giotto di Vongola.
Painstakingly trudging through the spider lilies, he finally reached the coffin. The moment he peaked in, he was instantly taken aback.
The corpse was very well preserved--a well bodied person. Not a corpse, not rotting flesh. It was as though the person was merely sleeping because, that was a corpse that looked alive.
That was fucking Ricardo di Vongola in there.
What the actual fuck.
Reborn leaned closer, scrutinizing to see if it was simply a wax figure, or a really well-made dummy depiction of the Secondo. "... He has quite long thick lashes..." Red eyes flashed open.
.
To say that almost 90% of the people in Vongola had a heart attack at the person Reborn brought back, was an understatement. Some screamed ghost even though Reborn was pretty sure none of them knew Ricardo personally other than the large portrait of him beside Giotto's. Some instantly knelt and prayed to god--or prayed directly to Ricardo. Some fainted--the tamest reaction--while some burst into fireworks--he wasn't joking.
All the chaos that happened as Reborn led the way to Tsuna's room was not even noticed by the culprit himself. Instead, the silent man with red eyes kept staring at Reborn's back, following closely behind him. He was like a baby penguin following its parents, only, his gaze held a different sort of meaning.
Interest. Murder. Hunger.
It was a weird combination--one Reborn would only feel when an enemy of his lust over him while wanting to kill him for whatever reason--and even weirder on Ricardo who he was sure that never knew about Reborn until that day. More like, how the fuck would a dead--well, presumedly dead--man knows about a person who was a few centuries younger than him and wasn't even born when he died.
There's also a fleeting look that Reborn noticed, too, and it was nostalgia with hint of wary but surprised and acknowledgement. Of what and why, he didn't know.
He didn't care, either. All Reborn wanted is to drop this baggage that attempted to clock him on the chin if it weren't for the thick glass coffin that stopped him. It took Reborn full ten minutes to negotiate and ensure that the man wouldn't kill him--even if Reborn was the strongest hitman, he wouldn't underestimate the Secondo who should've been dead all along god damn it--before he had the confidence to open the glass coffin.
And as expected, Ricardo tried to attack him again. Only, Ricardo stopped when he spotted the tiny Leon who was huddling in the crook of Reborn's neck, peering at him curiously.
Maybe all that gaze and the following was because of Leon. Maybe Ricardo was entranced by Leon.
... Does he want to eat Leon?
Reborn should hurry the fuck up.
"Reborn!!" Tsuna yelled across the hallway when the young man who took a step out of his office with a smile that soon morphed into horror at the sight of Ricardo. It was a surprise yell.
It wasn't a surprising reaction.
Reborn, with his irritation level all-time high, shot Tsuna's leg. Tsuna dodged easily, much to his ever-growing annoyance.
"Shut the fuck up and call your stupid ancestor before I slice you into tuna sashimi." He gritted out as he came closer to Tsuna. Who instantly shut the fuck up, gulped, and nodded. He wouldn't put past the hitman to do that. He quickly led them both into his office, locked the door, and tapped on his ring.
That tap instantly got Ricardo's attention who instantly snapped his gaze at Tsuna's ring and stared for a long time, vibes growing murderous at every second.
The ring flickered, and flickered, and finally, burst into orange flames.
Ricardo growled. Reborn would've find it hot if it weren't for how Ricardo instantly tried to leap at the ring and possibly mangle his student's hand to snatch it off.
"Ricardo! Stop!" And the fucking man stopped like a trained dog on leash.
Giotto's form appeared in front of Tsuna, protecting the youngest in the room. His form was still translucent, but for some reason, it was more opaque than usual. Possibly because Ricardo was here? Who knows. Reborn doesn't.
Ricardo snarled at him, but stopped as told. He bared his teeth at Giotto instead, sneering. "What--" Oh, Reborn's eyes widen at the hoarse, deep voice that seemed to vibrate with hostility. (His horny level hiked up a little.) "--did you mean by waking me up, asshole. I thought we had an agreement not to fucking disturb my sleep."
Giotto rolled his eyes--even more opaque now. "That agreement is until your moon reincarnated, brother dear."
Ricardo squinted his eyes at him. Giotto--when did his eyes turned dark orange-red?--turned to Reborn instead and that gaze he gave him instantly gave him a really, really bad feeling.
Ricardo followed Giotto's gaze and his red eyes scanned him again. As though he had not stared enough.
And then it widened.
Reborn instantly blurted out: "Do not fucking call me 'Your Moon'."

Notes:
multichapter? maybe? I shall see if my brain wanna continue this,,, or if the plunny survives for a 2nd chapter :3c BUT BASICALLY 1. Giotto and Ricardo are brothers 2. They are goblins - Giotto decided to ACTUALLY bury his physical body somewhere and live in the vongola ring [abandoned body]. Ricardo decided to sleep in a coffin waiting for the time to wake because he's TIRED and he just want his moon to come back :pleading: 3. Yessss Reborn is his moon. His past self is probably Ricardo's friend/lover i still can't figure out but I have an image of Reborn with slightly messier longer hair in a cloak pointing a gun at Ricardo's head with a blood-thirsty grin. Yes. I want him to dominate Ricardo. Yes. But Reborn is a human so he died back then and then reincarnated into Reborn, who is also a human but---- Who knows. maybe if ricardo is tired of sleepign and waiting for reborn to find him, he might just change him into another immortal? Who knows, who knows :3c 4. Tsuna is tired.jpg Thats it :DDDD For now. Until I remember what else I wanted to be put here. God this is already 2k+, if i put in the other parts its deffo going beyond 5k and Im just hfdskfjkldsjlkfdsjls I JUST WANNA POST IT ALREADYYYYY aight cyaaa [I apologize for any grammar, spellings, etc. etc. mistakes]

Omg wait that's actually a really good way of coming up with usernames! I kinda figured out that won-kyeom part and I was not sure about the Lee being dino because y'know there are a lot of lees in k-pop now I'll just combine k-pop idols names whenever I need to come up with new usernames!
Naurr chan 😭 but i kinda agree i think most of the carats who are in their 20s mostly see chan as their lil bro?? (Atleast the ones I have met) Or literally a child cuz most fanfics and smaus I've read about cheol and hannie they are either basically chans parents or they just bully him 💀. but I have to admit he's kinda bias wrecking Nonie these days (but he could never replace jeonghan in my heart T^T) BUT SHUA OMG he's a real fucking threat to both of us cause he did the impossible: bias wrecking Jeonghan. Like stop pls 😭😭
You have irl carat friend 😭😭 you're luckyyyy and omg comparing you to dk when he does something awful is something a friend would do lmao but hey atleast she's comparing you to the one and only SEOKMIN 🤩 a win is a win! my army friend (who also watches svts stuff sometimes) said me and hannie are really similar (y'know when we cause problems on purpose and cheat in games...match made in heaven fr 😍)
OMG YES PLS A SPIDERMAN AU 🛐 please write it if you could I'm on my knees begging (if you aren't busy ofc) i feel like this au would suit Nonie a lot (for obvious reasons) he kinda fits the loser (affectionate) nerdy Peter Parker vibes like him being the Spiderman is going to be the death of me and hear me out i think Jeonghan would also thrive in this au but he's Gwen Stacy/ Mary Jane and the reader is the spidercreature 😼 who else do you think fits in this au?
I get not watching movies often i also sort of re watch old movies again and again but If you watch the movies i recommended with your dad watch Chungking express! Fallen angels kinda has a suggestive scene (nothing too crazy but still)
Ahh thank you <33 Ida is also such a cute name!! My name is sort of a reference to the character Jolyne Cujoh
like i made this wayyy back in 2014 or something😭 and i think my og name was ohbyundae, for sehun, baekhyun and chen😭 and i've just kinda stuck with it for kpop usernames since korean names are so easy to combine and i suck at coming up with names lmao. but yesss!! it could obviously be jihoon or dk as well, but chan is who i had in mind
nooo i'm 21 and i love chan sm😭 like when they debutes i didn't think he was that hot, since he was so young. but nowadays???? man that man is ON FIRE. i'm still not over the back it up performance😭😭 literally fighting people for his pcs as well cause they're all so good. i have a few fics (wips) with chan as brother figure, but only because he's such a good brother😭😭
shua is the bane of my existence atm😭 love and hate it sm😭😭 cause he is literally perfect
well, i made her slip into the diamond life, but thirst traps on tiktoks were a lot of help as well😭 i think the shadow clip of mingyu and cheol in the rain is what got her in the end. but yess, i feel really lucky😭
exactly😌😌 i see myself in him as well so i get it. but omggg getting compared to hannie is the dream😭😭 like love him so much, that is peak !!
the way i went to my notes to write it down after i replied to your last ask... and wrote that vernon should be spider-man👀👀 but lnao shouldn't reader be a gwen stacy/mj version😭😭 i was thinking i might do a full on avengers au, with all of svt having some sort of super-power but we'll see. i have a lot of other ficd lined up first😭😭 but i would love to discuss it some more !!
the way i could straight up watch porn in front of my dad i do not think he would care 😭😭 like i'm from scandinavia so sex and whatever is really natural for us (although i only got through one episode of sex education with him in the room, mostly for my own sanity) but thank you for the heads up !!
thank you♡♡ ida is just my irl nickname, i didn't even think about coming up with an alias😭 and yes!!! omg i love jojo !!!!

For some time ever since I started thinking about Ishimondo dinosaurs that prompted Monika to start drawing some other DR characters as dinos in the server I've thought about some kind of a Jurassic Park AU but from the dinosaurs' perspective. Like Hope's Peak is a dinosaur park that they're all trapped in and trying to break out of (and eat people along the way). They were so preoccupied with whether or not they could (make the world's first dinosaur fashionista that has the analytical power to understand human fashion trends) that they never stopped to think if they should.

Synopsis: All your life in university, you’ve focused on making sure that outputs were sent and tests were passed. You’ve never really had the time to go out with friends a lot with all the demands of your program. One night, you had to stay late with your classmates to finish a project at school. You decide to take a nap in one of the dance studios, thinking that no one would be able to disturb your sleep there. However, the practice room is not as empty as you thought it would be.
You type away at your laptop as you sit with the rest of your group at one of the study hubs in your building. It was during this specific time of the semester that your department would allow certain rooms to be usable 24/7 to help students pass the necessary requirements for the finals period. It was almost midnight when you decided to take a break from all the work. Although you were barely done, you knew you had to take a nap if you wanted to ensure that your report was at least readable. While your other members were in charge of the graphical and artistic side, you were in charge of the technical side of the report.
“I’ll be off in the nap room if you need me. If I don’t come back in an hour, please wake me up.” You say as you close the laptop and head over to the basement of your building.
The nap room isn’t literally a room that was specifically made for students to sleep in, but it’s an old and barely used dance room. Ever since the renovation of the building a few years ago, dance majors have been using the bigger and brighter dance rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors for practice. The old dance room is cold, dark, and to be honest, is on the verge of falling apart with a few broken floor tiles and blurry glass. The school decided to keep it to renovate it into a different room, but due to mismanagement, it never really happened and it just stayed there for years as a technically functional, but unused room.
It was a horrible place to practice in, but a perfect place to nap in.
When you and your friends discovered it when you were freshmen, you ended up using it as a secret space whenever you just wanted to take a break. Two years later, all of you now call it the nap room so that other students wouldn’t know that you were secretly using it. Usually, the main door would be locked, but there’s another door at the back of the room with a broken lock that leads to the back of the building. You enter through that back door and take your usual spot behind some cabinets. You pull out the camping bag that you’ve always kept at the side and snooze off.
Your sleep was mostly peaceful and uninterrupted. However, it is broken by the sound of feet on the wooden floorboards.
Initially, you thought it was one of your groupmates coming over to wake you up. However, no face nor voice makes itself known to you, only the sound of feet, alternating between light and heavy steps. You aren’t entirely sure what to make of it--for sure, there are at least one or two ghost stories that you heard from your upperclassmen throughout your student life, but you weren’t one to believe in the supernatural. Despite trying to rationalize your way through it, you couldn’t help but think that perhaps there really was something else going on.
You muster up the courage to slowly get yourself out of the sleeping bag with as little sound as possible, keeping yourself low as you try to peak from the side of the cabinet. From your position, you see a single person dancing in the dim light of a single cellphone flashlight. He seems to be dancing to the music from his earphones.
It baffles you why he would be practicing at this place and at this hour. Last time you knew, no dancer would want to use this room unless they absolutely had to. You wanted to get out and leave him to his business, but you didn’t want to freak him out either.
You plan on getting back to your sleeping bag, but the man ends his dance, taking off his earphones along with it. He collapses to the floor, breathing heavily as sweat falls down his face. Now that he has his ears open, you knew you had to be even more careful than before. With as little noise as you could, you slowly crawled backward, but the old creaky floorboards were not in your favor this time. As you put your weight on your knee in moving back, a sharp noise fills the room and the man immediately turns his head in your direction.
You meet him eye to eye, both of you equally shocked at the sight of one another.
“Ahhh!” He props himself up and moves back a few spaces. His hand shoots up to his mouth, scared that someone might hear him from the outside. “My goodness! Wah!”
“H-Hello.” You say with a small wave.
“Who--what, what are you doing over there?” He whispers, tiredness immediately replaced by adrenaline.
“I know, it’s a bit of a shocker, but I was taking a nap here at the back.” You say, putting both of your hands up. “Midterms week, you know how it is.”
He gets up and briskly walks to you, looking over the cabinet to see the empty sleeping bag by your feet.
“Are you even allowed to sleep here?”
“Who knows? No one outside my group has ever found out, well, except until now.” You get up as well, finally seeing how tall he actually was. “Shouldn’t I be asking the same question? Are you even allowed to practice here? Didn’t the department give you guys that fancier room upstairs?”
He shrugs. “Midterms week, you know how it is.”
You can’t help but smile a bit at his remark. “I should probably go back up. Keep doing whatever it is that you’re doing.”
Just as you were about to make your way out, he blocks your way with his arm.
“Wait, while you’re here I’m going to need your help.” He says with a slightly louder voice. “You’re the only one who knows I’m here, so I’m going to need your help.”
“What for?”
“Alright, here’s the thing. I want you to tell me how my dancing is, I feel like something is missing, but I don’t know what it is.” He goes over to pluck the earphone jack from his phone. “I’ll let you listen to the song, it won’t take long, I promise.”
Taken aback by his sudden burst of energy, you take a few steps backward. “I’m not a dancer, I don’t really think I’m in the position to say anything.”
“What’s your major?”
“Advertising...” You reluctantly reply.
“Then you’ve got a good eye. That’s more than enough. Better to have feedback from an audience of one than an audience of none, am I right?” He calls you over to listen to the music playing on his phone. “Please? If you do help me, I promise to dance to whatever you want me to if you need it for one of your projects.”
You wonder what kind of situation he could be in that he would need the advice of a stranger, but you were too carried away by his compliment and proposal to say no. Shaking your head, you walk to him and put your ear next to the speaker of the phone. With his energy, you thought that it would be some strong EDM or hip hop song, but you were surprised to hear a softer and slower song.
After the song ends, he moves back enough for you to have a good view of him.
“I know it’s dark, but think of it as dramatic effect.” He says, putting himself into the starting position. “Can you play the song back to the start for me?”
You agree, increasing the volume to its maximum capacity. Instantly, you see him switch into performer mode. His entire expression changes as his body move fluidly in contemporary dance. As you listen to the song, you can see how much work he put into visualizing its story into a dance. Although you didn’t want to admit it, the dim light surely did create the dramatic effect that the song calls for.
He ends the piece with a pose and holds it for a few seconds before completely converting back to the ordinary college student he was before. “So, what do you think?”
“To me, it looks pretty good. I enjoyed watching you and I think your dance synced very well with the song. However, like, I don’t know if you’ll get what I mean but...” Your tilt your head from side to side, trying to shake your brain for the best way to explain it. “You weren’t? Your dance got the song, but you didn’t?”
He slowly nods, crossing his arms over his chest. “I’m sorry, what?”
“Oh man, I’m so sorry, I don’t really have a better way of explaining it.” You say, guilty that you may have said something that didn’t really sit well with him.
“No, I get what you mean, kind of. I just want to know what part.” He shifts his weight on one of his legs, deep in thought.
“I don’t know, up to you to find out, I guess.” You shrug, handing him back his phone. “It’s just what I think, so you probably shouldn’t think too much of it.”
“No, it’s good. You got me thinking at least, thanks.” He says, taking his phone and putting it in one of his pockets. “I’ll just sleep it out and think about it more in the morning.”
“Now that I’ve told you what I think, I assume that your offer to become a dancer is now set?” You say, making sure that you seal the deal. Although it seems like nothing to him, you knew that this could be important for one of your outputs one day. You take out your own phone and open the notepad. “I’m going to need your contact details.”
“Is this your way of hitting on me?” He says playfully, followed by his own high-energy laughter. “Nah, I’m just kidding, hand it over.”
He takes your phone and types in a few lines before handing it back to you. You check it one more time to check if he didn’t put in some nonsense information.
Lee Chan, 3rd Year Dance Major
Messenger: @LeeChan_1999 (please message me here)
“I’ll see you around!” He says, picking up the rest of his things before disappearing out the back door.
▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫
The next few days go by in a flash. After spending a few sleepless nights, you and your group successfully pass your project with higher than expected grades. Now it’s the short silent period after the hectic midterms week where everyone just goes to classes, but without much really happening except for a few reminders and some feedback on recent outputs.
You sit at the round park table at the small park at the side of your building, watching students spend time with their friends while they still can for the short rest period. Across you, one of your upperclassmen and close friends, Hansol, types out something on his laptop.
You take a sip from the fruit drink you got from one of the stalls. “Still doing that paper you were cramming at the last minute?”
“Isn’t it fine though?” He says, looking up at his laptop. “I’d rather pass a finished but late paper than an incomplete mess. I’ll be done in a few minutes. Once I email it to our professor, we can go over to the movies with the rest of the guys.”
“Alright, go do your thing.”
You cross your legs and scroll through your phone. You had to meet up with your friends in around half an hour at the cinema nearby. Although you were used to Hansol pushing things to the last minute, you just wanted to hurry and get out of the campus.
You put down your phone and lie down on the bench, looking up at the canopy above you. The weather is just perfect to laze around and have fun. You knew that everything was going to get busy again starting next week, but you didn’t want to burn yourself out.
“Hey.”
Your view of the canopy and internal train of thought is broken by the face of Lee Chan--who you and your friends now like to call the Midnight Dancer--just above your face.
You jolt back, putting your hands up defensively. “Hey..?”
You sit up, looking at him as he takes a seat next to you. “I finally get what you mean!” Chan says, putting his hands on his knees. “I did a few adjustments to the dance, and guess what? I aced the performance, got enough good marks to last me until graduation.”
It takes you a few moments before realizing what he was talking about. “Oh, you mean for that dance you did?”
“Yeah! You don’t know how thankful I am for what you said. People always comment on the steps or the songs, but it’s the first time someone told me about getting the song myself.” He crosses his arms and shrugs. “Weird and absurd, but effective. By the way, I never really got to know your name. I’ve always referred to you as ‘that one girl from advertising’ when I tell my friends about it.”
“I’m glad it helped you out I guess. My friends always tell me that my thoughts don’t really make any sense.” You reply. “Oh, and my name is y/n. Easy to remember, I hope.”
“Good to finally have a name for the nameless character. Nice to meet you for the second time, y/n.” He leans his elbow on the table beside him. “Anyway, what are you up to?”
You look over to Hansol, then back to Chan. “We’re going out for a movie, getting off some steam after the midterm week. Want to come along?”
Chan’s mouth forms an ‘o’ as he raises his eyebrows. “Are you two... you know? I mean, I’m not really a big fan of being ‘that’ guy during a date.”
“Wait, it’s not what you think,” Your eyes grow big, flustered at the comment. Although you were 100% sure that you saw Hansol as a friend, bringing up the subject made you shy. “We’re going out with other friends, like a big group of friends.”
You see the corner of Chan’s mouth tilt up ever so slightly in amusement. "Alright, alright. I’d be happy to come along.” He takes out his phone and checks the time. “Just give me a few minutes to get my stuff at the dorm. Fifteen minutes, I think?”
You look over at Hansol, who still seems to be typing without a break. “Sure, I think that’ll be more than enough.”
“Alright, wait for me.” He says one last time before quickly disappearing over the corner.
“So that’s the Midnight Dancer you guys have been talking about?” Hansol says, his eyes still focusing on his laptop screen. “I didn’t think that the story was actually serious.”
“Does it really sound like something I’d make up?”
This time, Hansol looks up from his laptop. “I mean... it kind of does.” He types in a few more lines before clicking away at something. “I’ll send this off real quick.”
Fifteen minutes later, Chan arrives at your table, just as he said. This time, he’s carrying a backpack with him. “Alright, let’s go?”
“What’s the backpack for?”
“I’ve got a rehearsal tonight. Thought I’d drop by after the movie. If you’ve still got time to waste, you can sit in and watch.” He says, putting his hands through the slings of his bag.
“Don’t tell me you’re going to make me give you absurd feedback again?”
“I’m sorry, was it obvious?” He lets out a big laugh, giving a wide smile afterward. “Nah, you can really just watch this time.”
“Alright, why not.”
The three of you make your way to the theatre, meeting your four other friends. Despite meeting them for the first time, Chan easily blends into the group. Although he’s loud and friendly, he puts care into his words and actions. In the movie theatre, the two of you sit beside each other. You laugh at the small snarky comments he says at the side, grateful for the small breaks in silence. Although he says it quietly enough not to disturb the people around him, your laughter may have been louder than you wanted it to be. This earns you a few nudges from your friends, but you manage to keep a hold of it for the rest of the movie.
Once outside, the two of you can’t stop talking about the movie. You never really had to worry about running out of things to talk about because Chan always had something to say about everything. Even on your way to his rehearsal, both of you ended up talking about anything and everything. To be honest, you found the conversations more fun than the movie you were watching.
Eventually, when you had to go home, all you thought about was the lightheartedness you felt when being with him. You think of it as the buzz you feel when making a new friend who you know you’d click with for sure.
Little do you know, you’re already looking forward to the next time you’d randomly bump into him.
▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫
Just as you thought, the following week was leading back into the cycle of busy schedules. It was one project after another. You weren’t really one to complain--you had great friends that helped out well in whatever you were tasked with, but you miss having a person that you could just freely talk to.
Somehow, you end up looking for him in the random figure at a crowd, or the loud and distant laughter at the lounge. Even your friends were starting to see that you were always somehow checking out the periphery.
When you do happen to come across him, you find yourself unnaturally excited.
You and your classmates are currently gathered at the student lounge, waiting for the multimedia room to be open so that you could begin your presentations for a class. You decide to move a couple of meters away from the big group, reviewing all the things you had to say for class later on.
You are looking out at the parking lot, memorizing and spacing out at the same time. Yet, when you spot a familiar head of brown hair, your mind immediately trails away from your presentation.
After two weeks, you finally got to see him again.
Well, about a hundred meters away, that is.
As if he had known you were staring at him all along, he turns his head toward you and gives you a wide smile as he crosses the parking lot. You give a small wave in return.
You would have wanted to have a small talk with him, but he turns over at one entryway and makes his way up the stairs, presumably to one of his classes.
You didn’t really have much time to think of it. Just as Chan disappeared, the doors to the multimedia room open, all of your classmates flowing into it as the previous class makes their way out.
“Y/N, let’s go!” You hear one of your classmates call out.
“Ah, yeah. Coming.” You say, turning back with your eyes still lingering for a few seconds on the staircase.
Ever since then, you’ve been starting to meet him a bit more often. Usually, it would just be the small smiles and eye contact from across the hall. Sometimes, you’d get to walk across each other in the hallway and exchange a few greetings. However, he always seems like he’s in a rush to get somewhere. Although you knew that he has his own life to live, you were curious about how he was doing. After all, he was the kind of guy that practiced in the middle of the night in an abandoned dance room, then he has probably done other similar things.
You didn’t know you were starting to think a bit too much about it when Hansol actually pointed it out.
At one of the cafes outside school, you and Hansol just finished a small consultation session for a project you were doing. With all the schoolwork he has to do, it was a bit hard to find the time to sit with him, so you had to run to the cafe for a quick minute while your group mates continue drafting the project at the campus.
“Why don’t you just go ahead and send him a message? You have his contact details, right?” Hansol says out of the blue, making you almost spit out your drink.
“Who?”
“Come on, you know who I’m talking about.” He grabs a piece of tissue and hands it over to you. “Lee Chan. From what I hear, it seems like he’s a pretty good dancer. You talk about him a lot.”
You take the tissue and wipe your mouth with it. Of all the times, Hansol actually brings this up now. “I do not--you know what, maybe I do. I mean, I can, but...”
“You still have that deal with him where you could use him as a dancer for your project right? I think it would be good if you could use a dancer concept for the promotional video.” Hansol leans his arms on the table and nods. “I don’t think the other groups would think to go as far as to find a dancer to promote an imaginary sportswear brand, so maybe it’ll earn you some extra points.”
You feel a small drop of cold sweat break out. All this time, Hansol was talking about the project, not your growing affection for the hardworking dance student.
“Ah, you mean that?” You shrug, trying it play it off. “Alright, sure, why not? I’ll have to tell my groupmates about it first, though.”
“Oh, absolutely. Hitting two birds with one stone, right?”
“What?”
“Nothing. Go ahead and contact him. Is there anything else you want to talk about?” He asks, giving a small comforting smile.
You check the time on your laptop. “I’d love to talk, but I think I need to get back to my group mates. I promised I’d be there by 10:30 tonight.”
“Doing one of your late-night projects again?”
“The woes of an advertising major.” You say below your breath as you hurry to put your laptop back in your bag. “Thanks for the time. Don’t cram too much this time.”
When you get back to the room your friends were staying in, you tell them about the advice Hansol told you. They seemed to be completely fine with it, so you sent a message over to Chan. It was late into the night, so you were worried if he would even respond. During normal class days, the rooms would only be open up until midnight, so you knew you had to finish the draft if you wanted to pass it on time by tomorrow.
After a few minutes, he responds.
“Sure, I’m down. I’m over at the secret dance room if you want to talk about it.”
You quickly relay the news to your groupmates, and they make their adjustments to the output. Elated, you made your way downstairs. Now that the proposal was done, all you had to do was make the promotional video within the week. More than anything, you’re happy to be able to talk to him again, even if it was just going to be about school stuff.
From outside the back door, you could hear the same intense footsteps, dancing to their own music. You open the door, seeing Chan dancing away in the dark room. When he sees you, he gives you a small nod and takes off his earphones.
“Hey, still practicing late into the night in secret?” You say, remembering the first time you saw him.
“Same goes for you. Still making outputs late into the night, but not in secret?” He says with a laugh. “Let’s talk outside, I could need a breath of fresh air.”
Both of you find a spot on one of the benches surrounding a large tree.
“So, what’s the concept about?” He asks with a bit of tiredness in his voice.
You give him all the details of the video. You planned it to be short and impactful, heavily relying on whatever dance Chan could perform to make the output stand out. For the entire time, Chan listens silently, nodding from time to time. Once you were done, he gives his comments for the first time.
“Sounds pretty good. Let me know when you have the song decided and I’ll think of something.” He says, a little less energy this time.
The both of you sit in silence for a few moments, the late-night breeze flowing between both of you. Either you’ve been observing him too much, or Chan has been very obvious about it, but you notice that he’s not really as upbeat as he was before.
“How’s life going on?” You break the silence, hoping that he’d open up to you at least a little bit. “You don’t seem pretty good.”
“Well, it hasn’t been going as well as I thought it would be.” He says, trying to lift his tone, but failing terribly. “I don’t know. Would you care to listen?”
“Of course.”
That’s when he brings out a topic that you never thought he would talk about. On most days, he had to work at a part-time job and would only really have to practice at night. He always felt that something was lacking with the way he danced, which is why he would always practice in secret at the dance room downstairs in fear of judgment. On top of that, he works hard to do performances for the dance group he’s in. He lets it all out, all the insecurity and burnout that comes along with all the responsibilities that he’s taken on.
“I’m sorry, I’m talking too much. You should get back to your project.”
“No, it’s alright. There’s nothing to be sorry about. We’re done for the day anyway.” You take in a deep breath. You keep your eyes straight, looking at the row of trees in front of you. “How long have you been doing this?”
“I don’t know, perhaps since the start of my freshman year? I’m actually surprised that we only met now when I’ve been using the dance room for years. Apparently, it’s because we always use it at different times.” He leans back and puts his hands in the pocket of his hoodie. “Thanks for listening, anyway. Doesn’t really change my situation, but at least it makes things lighter.”
“Sure, anytime. I really don’t think you should be keeping your burdens all to yourself. It can get pretty lonely.” You say. You turn your head to look at him, finding out that he had been looking at you all this time. “What is it?”
“Does it ever occur to you that there are people who you are just meant to meet?” He says in a low voice. “Thank you for being that person.”
You feel your face heat up despite the cold temperature. You weren’t exactly sure how to take his words. He looks at you for a little longer before getting up and returning back to his normal, energy-filled self.
“Well, anyway. Let’s head back before the monitors come by and see us hanging out beyond the closing time.” He says, offering his hand to help you up.
You take the offer, and he helps you up. Instead of letting it go, he keeps your hand in his. This time, you really aren’t able to hide the redness forming over your face. All you hope is that it wouldn’t be too obvious under the moonlight. He lets out a small chuckle before bursting out in his usual reverberating laughter.
“Come on, let’s go.” You say, walking in front of him to keep him from seeing your face. He moves along with you, hand still linked with yours.
“Seeing you flustered never gets old.” He says between his laughs.
For someone with a lot of words, his actions were more than enough to make you understand. Just this was enough to make you happy, enough to make you believe that there really are people you are meant to meet. - END -

for the fandom meme: ABGNPT!
A / YOUR CURRENT OTP
i am mad for the cherik. 😔 truly no one does it like them. who has the same mix of social justice allegory revolutionary energy, tragi-romantic soulmate power, nightmare4nightmare embarassing parent potential, taming-the-beast-and-radicalizing-the-pacifist, history-changing, world-shaking, all-consuming, slightly immoral devouring love? i DON'T want responses because the correct answer is no one. if you're about to reply with "what about--" you're wrong. cherik is the first of ships, the germ of all ships, the original ship. this is all there is of romance.--"thou shalt ship cherik"--the rest follows from that.
B / A PAIRING YOU INITIALLY WEREN’T INTO
en sabah nur x charles x erik, and this is all the server's fault. 😔 at first when people were talking about a college au i was just like "hmm, tangentially cherik, this is about 60% interesting," and then a terrible canonverse soulmate au popped FULLY FORMED into my head like athena emerging from the skull of zeus. now i dream about it. to target specific people for apocalypse-related crimes, @librata-laments and @lavender-lotion are the main offenders here.
G / YOUR FIRST OTP
i disavow all my oldest fandoms oh wait i do know! it was kira x trent from power rangers: dino thunder. honestly, still holds up.
N / THREE THINGS YOU WISH YOU SAW MORE
answered here for the x-men fandom but honestly i can keep going. i keep a list of my favorite aus & tropes, per fandom and generally, and to be honest i want all of these so badly they're all on my to-write list! here's my top five tropes for any fandom, three of which i haven't written yet and would, therefore, very much like to see more of:
debate au
push au
figure skating at the olympics au / i was a figure skating fanatic as a kid & probably wore out my vcr recordings of ice princess and go figure. (i also skated myself though i quit when i was very young!) i love a good old-fashioned sports story in general, & more sports aus would be great! however figure skating at the olympics is the pinnacle. the peak. the raison d'etre of sports aus.
fallen london au / fallen london is this amazing browser game (+2 video games and an upcoming visual novel) that roughly turns on the idea of "what if queen victoria made a deal with the [devil] to save albert's life?" in fallen london, london has submerged into a subterreanean world called the neath, exchanged away, and things have gotten... very strange (death not quite working, mysterious remnants of previously fallen cities across the [sea], gender and race mattering much less when strange squid-creatures are your neighbors). one day, i would like to set cherik in this world and play with it until one or the other falls apart!
canonverse musicals / PLEASE where are the "once more with feeling" fics.
...this fandom has really encouraged me to embrace the ethos of "if you want something written, write it yourself," huh?
P / INVENT A RANDOM AU
AGAIN WHAT IS SOMETHING I WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER WRITE. oh, i know, time traveler's wife au. i think for a change this would be erik pov, with grown charles appearing to him at critical moments in his life. it might play out very much like canon, even, with mutations and erik hunting down shaw. there would be a lot of angst potential with this, like erik demanding why charles couldn't save his mother, charles aching at the way erik is suffering even after the war is over but not able to help him in any long-term or durable way. perhaps erik thinks that chrono-displacement is a mutation, but it's something entirely different. anyway because i'm not audrey niffenegger this would have a happy ending, even though charles, like henry, becomes disabled. maybe chrono-displacement is a mutation, and charles & erik face a wrenching choice between what they believe (no "cure" at any cost) and the real dangers of time traveling. maybe hank deus ex machinas his way to a solution. disability forecloses on any possibility of happiness? sorry babe! couldn't be me!
T / ANY HEADCANONS YOU WILL DIE DEFENDING
answered here but here are five more, mostly me being very contrary:
eggsy's sister is not named daisy. because i'm perverse. [kingsman]
q has any configuration of siblings except for two older brothers. [james bond (craig movies)]
claire novak's first girlfriend was krissy chambers. [supernatural]
erik has two to three children, and none of them are lorna. [xmcu]
erik & jean hung out a lot in between returning to the mansion and the final scene of apocalypse, which is why it makes sense that she goes to him in xmdp. [xmcu]
thank you for all these great questions, my lovelies, and once again, pay no attention to passage of linear time. fuck linear time.

SVT’s Dino: Just Another Foodie Call
—
Fic Piece Written By: Admin Grandma of @springday-aus
Main Characters: Y/N [fem. reader] and Seventeen’s Dino [Lee Chan]
Other Characters: Seventeen members [Minghao, Seungkwan, Vernon], oddball dates [multi-group + multi-members: ATEEZ’s Hongjoong, GOT7′s Bambam, and NCT’s Jungwoo], and Yeri (Red Velvet)
Genre: romance, comedy, college!au, waiter!Chan
Type: one-shot writing piece
Word Count: approx. 6.5k
Plot Summary: first dates are always awkward, but not for you. In fact, you actually became a master of them. But, what are all of these dates for? Easy answer: free food. Now that you think about it, there’s only one other person who seems to know your real motives—Chan, a waiter from your favorite restaurant.
“—so, the best time to buy stocks is once a pandemic hits.”
“Hmmm…” You nod along, as your date continues to ramble on and on about business. You make an effort to maintain some eye contact, in order to seem as if you were engaged in the conversation. In reality, you were wondering how far along they were making your food. Usually, they would be platting at this moment, but it is a Saturday—meaning the dinner rush was just getting started.
“At that time, they’re lower, therefore cheaper.”
You continue to hum, not really listening to what he says, but trying to seem attentive to his words. You try to remember: look a bit interested in conversation and that’s enough to keep a guy’s attention. You glance up at him, taking in how animated he is as he talks.
But, then again, he seems to be able to maintain this conversation on his own.
You find yourself thinking: what was his name again? You glance down to the table, where his unofficial business card lays. Ah, right—Hongjoong. He’s a year above you. Business major, obviously something you picked up from the conversation alone. On the bright side, you didn’t have to worry about when you ran into him in the future.
Just as he’s diving in further about the importance of stocks and investments, the entree plates finally come out and are set in front of the both of you. You mouth a thank-you to the waiter, who gives you a polite smile in return.
Hongjoong continues to talk. “Then, as things become back to normal, the rates start to go back up and you get more than what you originally paid for. The only issue is time and how long it—”
Jesus, these noodles look so beautiful covered in the sauce. Only God knows what the hell is in it, but it’s delicious nevertheless. The toppings are equal in distribution and the garnish looks perfect, as if the peak of the flavor mountain in front of you. Yes. This. This is why you are here.
For a moment, you think you could cry. You’ve been waiting all week for these noodles. You take a glance at Hongjoong, who continues to ramble on and on about... savings? Did he move on from the other thing? Or was it bonds? Honestly, you’d stopped paying attention after he started promoting about the benefits of a savings account to you.
In your category of first dates, you’d put Hongjoong in the chatterbox section, which means you can catch a break from these weekly dates. Yeah, he’s boring, but he’s a super nice guy—from what you can tell, you know he’ll pay for the meal. You almost feel bad about using him. Almost.
Lifting your fork, you twirl a good amount of the noodles and drown it further into the sauce on the plate. Yes, come to mama. You carefully lift the fork to your mouth, trying not to shove it into your mouth like some goddamned animal. Once that first bite hits, you almost melt on the spot. God, that really makes the wait worth it.
The night continues on and Hongjoong, eventually, starts to eat—after he asks your opinion on how to survive an economic crisis. Frankly, you can’t remember much to what happened on the date so far. You must have tuned out more than you originally thought. But, then again, when do you ever remember what happens on these dates? Except for a special case, a guy named Cameron (aka, he who shall not be named), every other guy tends to be forgotten about.
As normal, you clear your plate—it’s clean of your food and you sigh with content. Your cravings have been satisfied. You wait for Hongjoong to finish eating, chatting him up to give some type of entertainment for the dinner. You use as much small talk as you can, from the weather updates to the different types of food served here.
Near the end of the meal, as he finishes his plate, you smile up at him as politely as you can. “Shall we get the check and head out?”
He returns the smile with one of his own. “Yes, that sounds good. It’s—” He checks his watch. “—about 6:30, which means the traffic shouldn’t be as bad right now. I can accompany you back to your apartment.”
He calls over the waiter, asking for the bill. Once it’s laid on the table, you slowly grab your purse and reach for your wallet, but you don’t really get a grip on your card to actually pay.
“No need (Y/N),” he says. “I got it.”
You give another smile, which seems more genuine than any other smile you’ve had tonight. Trying to hide your satisfaction, you furrow your eyebrows to feign concern. “Are you sure, Hongjoong?”
“Of course,” he says. “Women can pay, but it doesn’t mean they should.” He lays his shiny card on the black tray. “Especially on a first date.”
He gives another smile with his pearly whites and you have to hold back a smirk.
Men are idiots.
The sun shines particularly bright this morning. Now that you’re out, you regret making plans before noon. You open the door to the familiar campus cafe, retreating to your usual corner—where Minghao and Seungkwan are waiting for you.
You take a seat in front of them, ungracefully throwing your bag onto the empty seat next to you. Without a word, you slowly place your head onto the table and into your arms. The two put a halt to their conversation, noting your negative aura. Seungkwan pushes the iced latte towards you—not close enough, in fear of you knocking it over.
Minghao takes an unnecessarily long sip of his iced americano before speaking. “So, how’d the Saturday night date go?” he asks.
Seungkwan nods along and uses his spoon to cut a part of his strawberry cake. “Oh yeah, what was he like? Did you have fun?”
You lift your head and lean against your chair, feeling a migraine start to form from the subject alone. “He was fine. He was just… more boring than I anticipated.”
“So, no second date?” Minghao asks.
“Most likely.”
“Dude,” Seungkwan says. “When has there ever been a second date for (Y/N)?” He sets down the spoon on his plate—looking at you now. “How many dates have you been on now?”
“Enough.” You take a sip of your coffee. “Stop calling me out like this. Y’all are lucky I came.”
Seungkwan scoffs at your statement, going back into his cake.
“We knew you would be easily lured out by free coffee,” Minghao says. He shakes his head, not even trying to hide his disappointment.
“Stop looking at me like that.”
“Like what?”
“That judgey face—the situation is just..” You purse your lips and try to find your words, but end up lost in another train of thought. “Just, shut up.”
You grumble into your cup, more to yourself than them. “You just don’t understand the situation.”
They both raise an eyebrow at you. “Then make us understand,” Minghao says. He takes another long sip of his drink.
“Listen, in this patriarchal society, I am put at a disadvantage.”
“And this is related... How?” Seungkwan asks.
“I’m a broke college girl, who’s not unattractive,” you say. “What’s wrong with using it a little?”
“You know,” Seungkwan says. “There is a term for it. Instead of a booty call, it’s known as a foodie call.”
“Hm,” you say. “I like that.”
“Foodie calls over booty calls,” Minghao says. “Classy.”
“That’s the goal.”
“So, who’s your next date with?” Seungkwan asks.
You shrug, taking another sip of your coffee. “Right now, I’m still looking. We’ll just have to see.” You pull out your phone, scrolling through your messages. “Most of them are upperclassmen who don’t know what they’re getting into.”
“Update us on that,” Minghao says. “Because we need to know the poor chump your sapping money out of.”
“Hey!” You cross your arms. “Stop making me seem like a gold-digger. It’s just dinner, not a Gucci purse.”
“Do you want a Gucci purse?” Seungkwan asks.
You shrug. “I mean if it comes with the dinner, I’m not complaining.”
“Is that technically gold-digging?”
“I don’t think so…”
You originally started this whole operation because of your favorite noodle dish at your favorite restaurant: Asianly Classics. There was only one problem—you couldn’t afford the dish every week. It’s not because it’s an extremely upscale place; it’s just because the business is local it means the menu is kind of… pricey. It doesn’t help either that it’s located in the city, meaning the prices are constantly rising.
The first time you did it, it was unintentional. Your friend had been set up on a blind date and she couldn’t make it due to a prior engagement. So, she asked you for a favor and you went in her place. You weren’t sure of other places to go to, which led to you meeting him at Asianly Classics. He was super polite about the whole situation, especially since he insisted on paying for your meal because of the ‘inconvenience’ the date might have been—leading to your wonderful idea of the foodie calls.
Deep down somewhere, you know it’s wrong to exploit these simple college boys. But, it’s hard not to because they’re... simple, college boys with two brain cells that are dying from classes and with reality hitting them hard. It’s just easier this way.
It’s not like you’re a sugar baby (no disrespect to those women who are really stepping up their game though) or a booty call (no disrespect to the women who are having healthy, safe sex), so why were the guys making a big deal out of it?
You break from your thoughts. “Even if I was a gold-digger, that’s none of your business.”
Seungkwan playfully rolls his eyes at your words, then pulls out his laptop and opens it. “Well, speaking of business… We do have to work on our presentation for Intro to Investments 101.”
You throw your head back, releasing an unladylike groan. Eventually, you sit back up and begrudgingly pull out your laptop.
Minghao sits up, stretching his arms with his fingers interlocked. “I brought the notecards and pens. We can figure out who presents what once we sort it all out.” He sets out the materials on the table, opening a pen cap, and testing them out on a new notecard.
“Curse uni for making this a required course,” Seungkwan whines. “I haven’t even been paying attention.”
“When do you ever pay attention?” Minghao asks.
“Don’t worry,” you say. You tap your temple twice, before pointing it back to them, as if to share your only brain cells left with them. “Saturday’s date taught me enough to compensate for our lack of attention span. That’s gotta count for something.”
Minghao laughs. “I guess we’ll just have to see exactly how useful that information can be.”
Another Saturday has rolled around and you sit at Asianly Classics once again. But, this time, you sit in front of a different date. Bambam sits with a leg crossing the other, as he talks animatedly about some party from last night. You can only smile at him, nodding along every once in a while to make it look as if you were paying any attention.
“—it was so crazy! Jackson needs to stop making those crazy drinks because mixology is not a strength of his.”
You let out a fake giggle and you prop your chin onto your hands, batting your eyelashes. “So what would be considered his strength?”
“Anyone who knows him would say friendliness or something.” He takes a sip of his water. “But, what they don’t know is that he’s on the way to the Olympics for fencing. That reminds of this one time, where he….”
As he starts up another story, you start to tune out once more. You will admit that this one is more entertaining than the last one. You’d trade fun college stories than financial tips any day—no offense to that other guy though. Bambam is a year older than that other guy, but by the way he’s talking, it’s hard to tell.
Bambam continues to talk—meanwhile, you continue to nod along to his words, smiling and laughing when appropriate.
“... that’s when he fell! One little poke and he just falls into the pool! Some athlete—he can’t even keep his balance! Phew, he’s a real funny guy.”
You let out another fake laugh, glancing back towards the kitchen door. How long has it been since you ordered your food?
Leaning back into your seat, you adjust your purse from behind you. You needed a breather from this one. You could feel your energy getting sapped from him. “Excuse me for a moment,” you say as you stand up. “I need to use the bathroom for just a second.”
“Oh, of course,” he says. He sits himself up, uncrossing his legs as if he suddenly remembered he was in a public space and not some fraternity house. “Go ahead, take your time.”
“Thanks,” you say with a smile. “I’ll be back soon.” You stand up, taking your bag with you. Your feet automatically take you down a familiar hallway where the bathrooms are located. Just as you are approaching the doors, you see a shadow of a figure—who addresses you before you fully acknowledged his presence.
“Just where are you running off to?”
Just outside the men’s bathroom, Chan leans against the wall with his phone in hand. He looks at you with a teasing smile and you can’t resist mirroring it.
You click your tongue as you approach him. “And here I was, just wondering where my favorite waiter was.” You move yourself next to him, close enough to nudge his shoulder with your own. “I didn’t see you last week.”
He chuckles. “I was here last weekend, same time” he says. “And the weekend before that, and the weekend before that. That’s kind of how jobs work. Just because you didn’t see me, doesn’t mean I wasn’t there.”
“Ah, really?” you tease. “I had absolutely no idea.” You both stand there in silence for a second, before he speaks up again.
“So, how’s the date going?” Chan asks. “Is he as bad as last week’s?”
“Actually, he’s not that bad.”
“Oh?”
“He’s not as boring as the last one. That’s all I’m going to say.”
“I don’t think that it’s that hard considering what I overheard from last time—something about investing your stocks.” He tilts his head to the side with a playful glint in his eyes. “Are you investing in your stocks, (Y/N)?”
You let out a little laugh. “I swear. Chan, you make these dates a little less worse.”
“Thanks,” he says, flashing a smile at you. “You better get back out there before he thinks you crawled out the bathroom window.”
“Psh, I would never.”
He gives you a look, which you playfully roll your eyes to. You push yourself off from the wall and start to make your way back to your table. Chan turns his attention back to his phone. Without looking up, he waves as you start to leave. “Bye~”
“I get the hint,” you say with a groan. You turn back to him. “And please let Paul know I would really like more sauce with my noodles?”
He gives you a thumbs up. “As always.”
“Thank youuuu.” You manage to move yourself away from the hallway and back to the dining area, where your date awaits.
You give him a polite smile as you take back your seat. Ah, no food yet. “Sorry, if you waited long.”
“Psh.” He waves off your comment. “I didn’t wait long. I hope you don’t mind though, I ordered some dessert while you were gone.”
“I don’t mind dessert,” you say. You curl a piece of hair behind your ear. “Are we sharing it?”
His mouth curves into an o-shape, realizing your concern. “Oh, we can share if you would like,” he says. “And don’t worry about the bill—since I ordered more, I’ll cover it.”
You have to hide your smile. “Are you sure?”
“Yeah.” He pushes his rose-lens shades up and you have to resist rolling your eyes at his insistence of keeping them on while indoors. “It’s not fair to split it.” He gently takes your hand on the table. “It’s okay, (Y/N). Don’t worry about it—Oppa’s got the tab.”
Oh, God, he used the o-word. You bite down your tongue and save the words for later.
Looking away from him, you glance towards the other section of the restaurant, where Chan is serving a different table their food. He bows his head as you see him mouth ‘enjoy your meal.’ He makes eye contact with you, mouthing the question: ‘is he paying?’ You give him a discrete thumbs up underneath your table.
Your attention is taken away from him, as your waiter comes over to set your food on the table. It looks just as beautiful as last week’s. Only this time, Paul had added some extra sauce, which drowned the noodles. You could cry from the beauty of this plate.
“Your dessert will be served later,” your waitress says. “Thank you for your patience.”
“Thank you,” you both say.
Bambam immediately digs in. On the other hand, you look up to find Chan—where he’s already smiling at you.
“How’d your date go?” Yeri asks. With a bit of skip in her step, her bookbag bounces along with her footsteps.
You hug your textbooks closer to your chest and you reply with a bit of an exasperated sigh. “God, he was one more the more interesting ones.”
“Who was it?”
“That upperclassman named Bambam.”
“I heard he’s a wild card.”
“He is a wild card. The entire night he was just telling me all these wild stories about his friends, his parties and all that other crap. While he was more interesting than Hongjoong, I was so tired by the time our entrees got to the table.”
Yeri sucks in a breath. “Sucks to suck, bro. You wanted to go on all these dates, so you have to face consequences of that choice.”
You can’t say anything else because she’s right. You don’t really need to go on these dates, but if that means free food, why should you complain?
The both of you continue your walk to the library, taking in the fresh air and atmosphere. You’d forgotten how big the campus is—or at least how long it takes to get from the dorms to the library center. Originally you had just met Yeri for lunch, but the both of you were invited to an impromptu study session with some others in your class and decided to walk there together.
“On the bright side,” you say. “I saw Chan.”
“Chan?” Her eyes narrow at you. “Isn’t that the waiter who likes you?”
“No,” you say with a huff. “We’re just friends—acquaintances at least.”
“Can you guys hurry the process because I made a bet with Doyeon you’d get together in, at least, a month.”
“Yeri, you are such a dedicated friend.”
She perks up, ignoring the sarcasm. “Why, thank you, (Y/N).”
You can only roll your eyes at her, but her smile only widens.
“But seriously,” Yeri says. “You go on all these dates, complain about the guys, and yet, you talk more about Chan than you do about any of those other guys.”
“Dude, I don’t even have his number. If we see one another, we talk and that’s it. I highly doubt it would go anywhere else.”
“I’m just surprised that you two have been doing this dance for nearly four months and yet… nothing.”
“You know, men and women can just be friends, right?”
“Yeah, but you two are a different case,” Yeri says. “Considering how often you mention him. I haven’t even met him and that says something because I’ve met all of your friends.”
“You haven’t met him because I literally don’t have his number. We just run into each other—we don’t plan anything.”
“Well, I think there’s something.”
“You always think there’s something.”
“No, I—”
“(Y/N)?”
You and Yeri turn to see Chan, along with his friend, who holds a skateboard in one hand. You all stand near the entrance of the library; you two were going in and they were just leaving.
Yeri’s clearly confused, but puts two and two together when your eyes light up.
“Hey!” You step a bit closer to him, taking a look at his outfit. “I almost couldn’t spot you for a second. I’m so used to the uniform.”
“Yeah, I am a bit more casual today, in case you haven’t been able to tell.”
“Hmm,” you hum along with a teasing smile. “Were you going for broke student chic?”
“Always.” He mirrors your smile with one of his own. You both stand there for a bit in your own bubble—with you ignoring Yeri’s smug look and Chan ignoring Hansol’s look of disappointment.
“Oh, speaking of being broke,” you say. “You working this weekend?”
“As always. You have another date on Saturday?”
“As always.”
“Who’s the poor sucker this time?”
You roll your eyes at his words. “Maybe you’ll get to meet him this time. He’s really nice so we’ll see how it goes.”
Chan lets out a small laugh, nodding along. “Alright, I got some plans so I’ll see you Saturday?”
“I’ll be there.”
“Bye.”
“Bye.” You give him a little wave with your fingers as you step back next to Yeri. You head into the library, shushing Yeri and her little jabs about Chan.
Meanwhile, Hansol steps next to Chan, coming into his peripheral vision. He doesn’t say anything; he just shakes his head and clicks his tongue.
“What, Hansol?” Chan asks. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
Hansol sighs heavily, rubbing his temples. “You’re so whipped and you don’t even know it. I’m so sad for you.” He puts a hand on Chan’s shoulder. “Ignorance is bliss, my friend.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Nothing, nothing.”
Chan gives him a look, before hesitantly speaking further. “It’s not like that, you know.”
“Hmm, I’m sure it isn’t.” Hansol flashes a fake smile. “Now, now—let’s get to the dance studio. We still have to meet the others there.”
“Okay, weirdo.”
Saturday rolls around earlier than you had originally thought. You’d almost forgotten about the date until you had received Jungwoo’s text a couple of hours before. That text gave you enough time to quickly sort out and arrange your outfit (with the help of your roommate). So, by the time he shows up at your door, you easily manage to follow suit and head to the restaurant.
Compared to the other dates you’ve had, you haven’t had one as polite as Jungwoo. He asks about you, along with your interests, when you ask about him. He opens doors for you and he even covered your head when you got in the car. You haven’t even been on the actual date yet, but you’re already having a great time.
Right now, he drives down the familiar road to Asianly Classics. You both agreed on a radio station, which plays a soft melody to go along with the evening mood. He continues to ask you about this and that, the conversation flowing between you.
You hadn’t even noticed you had already arrived. After he successfully parks, you both head out of the car and towards the main entrance. Jungwoo eyes the place, taking in the atmosphere and aroma.
“I haven’t been here,” Jungwoo says. “Is the food good?”
You give him a smile. “I recommend this place to everyone. Trust me, it’s great.”
The both of you head inside, stopping at the podium. The host arrives and grabs two menus. “Table for two?”
Jungwoo smiles at her. “Yes, thank you.”
The both of you follow her through the restaurant and are seated into a comfortable booth in the corner. Jungwoo opens the menu and starts browsing, while you immediately open to the noodles page—already prepared as to what you were going to order.
“Everything here looks good,” he says. “Is it wrong to order two appetizers, an entree and a dessert?” He asks with a playful glint in his eye.
You let out a small laugh. “It would be worth it, trust me.”
“Don’t worry,” he says. “I wouldn’t make you pay for all of that.”
“Aha, well, thanks.”
“Good evening, I’m Chan and I’ll be your server for this evening.”
You look up from Jungwoo, from hearing Chan’s voice. Your jaw drops at his change of demeanor, hiding it behind the menu and away from Jungwoo’s eyes. He raises an eyebrow at you in response, dropping it once Jungwoo’s attention is on him.
“Are there any appetizers you would like to order?” Chan asks.
“Not at the moment,” Jungwoo says with a smile. “Unless I could be convinced?” He looks up from the menu to look at you.
“I think I’m good,” you say. “But, if you want a recommendation, I would say the papaya salad is worth it.”
“Another choice is the crab rangoon,” Chan says. “The chef uses her own secret recipe for the filling and it’s amazing.”
“He’s right,” you say. You look from Chan to Jungwoo. “It is amazing.”
“Well, damn,” Jungwoo says. He sets the menu down and looks at you once more. “I am convinced and will order the crab rangoon, along with the kimchi stew for my entree.”
“Crab rangoon and kimchi stew,” Chan mutters as he writes. You have to stifle your giggles from his concentration on the pen and pad. When he looks up, your lips pressed together, holding back a smile. “The usual for you?”
You nod. “Thank you, Chan.”
“Please let me know if you need anything else,” Chan says with a smile.
“Thank you.”
“Thank you.”
He takes your menus and gives you both another smile. With that, he walks back to the back to give your orders to the chef. Your eyes linger on his figure. He turns back once more and you give him another smile, before he turns away again.
“So, you’re a regular here?” Jungwoo asks.
Your attention focuses back on him. “Yeah, I come here often.”
“I can tell,” Jungwoo says with a chuckle. “You two are close?”
“Close enough,” you say. “You know, Chan goes to our university too.”
“Really?” Jungwoo pokes his head up and tries to find Chan. “I thought he looked familiar.”
“Yeah, he’s a dance major.”
Jungwoo smiles, but there’s something about it that makes you tilt your head. “You seem to know a lot about him to just ‘come here often.’”
“Well, we do run into each other a lot at the library.” You try to think how often you talk to Chan. “And the dining halls.” Your head tilts. “And the university gym... I see him a lot more than I originally thought.”
“Interesting, isn’t it?” Jungwoo asks.
“Interesting how?”
“Interesting how we start to pay attention to things when others point them out,” he says. He takes a sip of his water before speaking up once more. “Do what you will with that information.”
“Exactly what do you think I should be doing with that information?”
“Something that will get you done with all these fake dates and on one that you’d actually enjoy.”
“I’m enjoying this date though,” you say. “Are you not enjoying this date?”
“No, I’m enjoying it,” he says. “But I just want you to know, you should pay a bit more attention to those around you.”
“What’d you mean?”
“Just…” He shrugs, struggling to find the words.
“Please don’t beat around the bush,” you say.
“Okay, okay,” he says. “I just think you should be spending time on these dates with someone who you want to go on dates with…”
“Like who?”
His eyebrows raise at you and his head is tilting towards the direction of Chan, where he’s currently serving another table.
You sigh, leaning your chin in your hand. “Why does everyone keep saying that? We’re… acquaintances, barely even friends.”
“Really?” he asks. He crosses his arms. “You looked more excited to see him than you did me like twenty minutes ago.”
You were already sick of Yeri talking about it and now, someone you’re on a date with? While you know your relationship with Chan is…. different, it really is just an acquaintanceship (if that’s even a thing). You literally don’t have his number, which means no plans are made—ultimately ruling friendship. On the other hand, you do appreciate the time you get with him, whenever you do run into him. Now that you think about it, your friends do make those weird faces (which you mostly ignore) whenever you talk to, or about, him.
“... Did I?”
He nods. “Look, (Y/N),” he says, leaning on the table. “It’s not my business, but... I wouldn’t mind getting my food to-go to, say, walk my dog.” He gives you a gentle smile, resting his hand on yours, as if for assurance. “Just say the word and I’ll go on a nightly walk with Obok; it’s up to you.”
Your lips press, thinking for a bit. It’s rude to just ask Jungwoo to leave, so you could hang out with someone else. On the other hand….
Your eyes move away from Jungwoo’s and focus on Chan, who’s a couple of tables behind him. His eyes are in little crescents, as he laughs from a joke his co-worker makes. His nose is scrunched up and his decorative glasses are just on the edge of his nose. While his hair is slightly messy, his waiter uniform is nice and orderly, showcasing his legs and fit waist.
Looking back to Jungwoo, you give him a smile, lightly squeezing his hand. You couldn’t think of anything else to say, so you say the only thing that comes to mind. “Thanks, Jungwoo.”
He taps the table and gives you another smile. Wordlessly, he stands up and gives you (what he believes is) a discreet thumbs up. He walks towards the counter and chats with the host there, probably asking for his meal to be boxed. On the other hand, Chan gets back to your table once your date has left.
“What happened to him?” Chan asks with a pout. “He was cool.”
You innocently shrug your shoulders. “He said he has to walk his dog, so…”
“Sorry about your date.” He gives a half smile, as he sits down at the empty seat in front of you. “At least he’s still paying.”
You stifle a laugh. “I feel kind of bad.” You pause, glancing at Jungwoo’s back. “He’s been really nice to me and I was actually having a good time.”
“Well,” Chan says. “I’m assuming you still want your food?”
“Of course,” you say. “I’m not going to decline free food.”
He can’t hold back his smile, shaking his head along with it. “Why would I think so otherwise?” He gets up. “Don’t worry, it’s gonna be out soon.”
You give him another smile and he walks off to check on your meal. On the other hand, Jungwoo walks out with a paper bag in one hand and waves you goodbye with the other.
You think about what Jungwoo’s said… maybe you should just ask Chan out and see how things go. Honestly, there isn’t much for you to lose—considering that you don’t share classes or friends.
As you were mentally trying to weigh your pros and cons, your thoughts are interrupted as your plate is set in front of you. Your head snaps towards Chan, who looks down at you with a soft smile.
“Enjoy your meal, (Y/N).”
“Thanks.”
Just as he turns away, you grab onto his wrist. He turns back.
“Something wrong?”
“Uh.” You blink, not fully processing what you’d just done. “Sorry.” You let go of his arm. “That was kind of aggressive.”
He only smiles. “You’re okay. Did you need something else?”
You let out an awkward chuckle. “Um, when do you get off tonight?”
“You’re lucky,” he says. “I get off around 7:30.” He gives you a questionable look. “Why?”
“You wanna hang out after your shift?”
There’s a light blush on his cheeks and he clears his throat. “Um, sure, if you want to.”
“I’m not trying to pressure you or anything,” you say. “I just thought we could spend some time together…”
He gives a smile that gets bigger and bigger with each second, which you can’t help but to mirror. “Yeah, no. I, uh—I’d like that.”
“Okay.” Your smile grows. “Just let me know, okay?”
“Okay, and don’t worry,” he says. “I’ll pay, especially since I know how much you love men paying for you.”
“Oh my god, shut up. Just because a couple of guys pay for dinner—”
“Uh-huh, a couple. Maybe a couple dozen.”
You close your eyes, trying to manage your breathing. You lean on the table, glancing up at him. “Chan, you’re lucky I like you.”
Chan smiles before turning back around, unable to stop the butterflies fluttering in his stomach.
“This place is so cool,” you say. You spin a bit in your stool, but manage to maintain eye contact with Chan. “How’d you know about this place?”
“I used to work here during high school,” he says, fiddling with his fingers. “It was really fun because it was literally just high schoolers and college kids. Our boss was the only ‘mature adult’ and she didn’t come around often.”
You hum, taking in the old ice cream parlor. It’s designed to look like a diner—almost like Oberweis. A checkered pattern of red and white squares and triangles filled the top half of the walls, which your eyes couldn’t help but to follow around. The corners of the ice cream shop have some faux marble decorations on little white shelves, along with the lining of the walls, making it a bit more old-fashioned.
The burgundy colored booths are placed along the walls, which seated families, couples, and friends. Meanwhile, the larger space is occupied with small, round, white tables with red chairs, on top of a black and white checkered floor. You and Chan sit on stools that are placed along the countertop, waiting for your orders to arrive.
He’s still in his uniform, but the top few buttons are unbuttoned (which you may or may not have stared at as he did it) and his bowtie is completely undone, laying on his shoulders. He keeps his glasses on, even though he told you they’re for decorative purposes.
“I heard that working at an ice cream shop is good for your arms,” you say.
“Yeah,” he says. “Good for your arms, but bad for your wrists and your stomach.”
“Stomach?”
“You have no idea how much ice cream I ate that year.”
You laugh at the look Chan gives you and he smiles.
“It’s all fun and games until you’ve gained like ten pounds,” he adds.
“I think it’d be fun to work in an ice cream shop,” you say. “Obviously, food service is horrible in general, but… it must be fun to work with such people of similar age.”
“Customers for food service are always a pain in the ass,” Chan says. “That’s universal.”
At that time, your server arrives and places your orders down. The both of you thank him. You silently raise your ice cream and he raises his, lightly tapping against yours.
“Cheers,” he says.
“Cheers.”
For a moment, it’s quiet between the two of you. You both eat your ice cream, taking in the lively atmosphere.
“You know,” you say. “I think this is the first time we’ve officially hung out together.”
“I think you’re right,” Chan says with a laugh. “I would’ve remembered if we did.”
“You would’ve?”
“Yeah,” he says softly. “You know, you’re kind of unforgettable.”
Your smile grows. “Really?”
“Yeah.” He exhales, blowing up towards his bangs a bit. For a moment, he hesitates on speaking—biting his lower lip. Your gaze fixates on that a bit longer than you’d like to admit. “If you don’t mind, I want to ask you something.”
“Shoot.”
“What—what happened tonight?” He explains, when your head tilts at the question. “Like, what chased your date away and led you to me?”
You let out a small laugh. “First of all, I love the choice of words.”
“You know what I mean though.”
“Second of all, I didn’t ‘chase him away’ because he chose to leave on his own.” You fiddle with your spoon, splitting your ice cream repeatedly. “We were having a nice conversation.”
“And?”
“I don’t know. We were just talking and he said…” You sigh. “He implied that I needed a push in the right direction to do the things I wanted to do.”
“The right direction of what?”
Your eyes shift and you fully focus on your, now melting, ice cream. “Just… where I should be spending time and who I choose to spend it with.”
Chan gets quiet. “And that’s me?”
“Yeah,” you manage to say.
It’s barely above a whisper and, yet, Chan still managed to hear it. He clears his throat, trying to ignore the blood rushing to his cheeks. He doesn’t hide his smile, even when he looks at you.
“I guess I could say now…” he starts to say. “I liked being behind the scenes for your dates, but.. I didn’t really like the guys you were with.”
“Chan.” You place your hand on his. “They weren’t awful.”
“I know,” he says. “It’s just that they could have been so much better.” He pauses. “I do like that Jungwoo guy though. He’s pretty cool.”
You laugh at that. “Well, I wouldn’t be here if he didn’t give me the push, so… yeah, he’s pretty cool.” You pause. “I’m still surprised though.”
“Surprised about what?”
“Surprised that you’re okay with me and… manipulating men into buying me dinner.”
“The thing is,” he says. “Is that I know you’re not inherently bad.”
“How do you know that?”
“Because.” He tucks a stand of hair behind your ear. “From what I’ve seen behind the facade, you aren’t different, just—you’re just more quiet.” He corrects himself. “Not that you’re loud or anything, just—just that the guys you’re with don’t really get to know you and that’s… that’s not what a date is supposed to be like.”
“What is a date supposed to be like then?”
“Hopefully,” he says. “I can take you on a better one next time?”
“Yeah,” you say, interlocking your fingers with his. “I’d be up for that.”

The8/Minghao x Reader Soulmate AU | Rain
There’s a small mark on your hand which symbolizes what would happen when you first make contact with your soulmate, sometimes the marks aren’t clear but the moment your skin makes contact with theirs everything will make sense.

You had an umbrella with raindrops above it for a symbol on your wrist.
Just a simple umbrella, nothing special about it your friends have made theories about it but you just thought that it must be raining the day you meet your soulmate, you didn't need it to be magical like for some people who literally had butterflies around them out of nowhere.
Marks weren't that bland, everytime your soulmate touches them you'll feel tingles on your own. Yours seem to admire it too much, because sometimes you'd flinch at the sudden tickle on your wrist.
The sun was blazing when you walked outside, no signs of clouds to shadow over you, it also meant no soulmate.
"Y/n, come on! Christian said he's already there." Y/f/n said, Christian was her soulmate who she met a year ago. That was when you realized how beautiful it must be to meet your soulmate.
"Why do I have to join to this picnic of yours again? to be a third wheel? " You groaned as she dragged you with her.
"You're not the third wheel, some of our friends are joining too! And.. maybe you might meet your soulmate too!" She smiled at you, you'd normally agree with her but as you felt sweat trickle down the side of your head you rolled your eyes at her.
You arrived at the park (It's privately owned by Christian's family because they're rich af) where your group of friends had been waiting, a couple of them waved at your direction while some of them were busy setting up the food.
"Y/n! It's been a while! how are you?" A boy... probably Christian's friend who you've met before asked, although you had no idea what his name is.
"I'm... doing great!" You gave him a warm smile anyways, when a group of boys walked over you realized that there was going to be a lot of people around than you expected and most of them were Christian's friends that's why you were forced to tag along.
You made eye contact with one of the boys, you felt like you didn't want to look away so you both just stood there staring at each other. The awkwardness was soon cut off when one of his friends called him over, soon it was time for everyone to gather up and eat. You sat between Y/f/n and another person you were familiar with.
You were silent for the whole meal and just listened to everyone's conversations, You looked around ans saw the same boy looking at you, but this time you gave him a small smile and waved at him, he nodded back at you and continued chatting with his friends.
After eating you were yet again forced by your friend to join the game, everyone voted for hide and seek so here you are hiding under the tree house. As the given time was over a person dashed into your hiding spot.
"C-can't you find another hiding spot?" you whispered to him. "It's too dangerous for the two of us to hide here."
"If I go out do you think I have a chance to find another one?" He whispered back, you sighed and nodded.
"What's your name?" He asked as he walked over to you.
"Why do you need to know?"
"..Just because? And, I need to stop calling you 'That Pretty girl' in my head." He shrugged, You blushed at his words, you opened your mouth to answer but you heard the seeker's voice near your hiding spot. "Shh.."
You breathed slowly as you kept your eyes on the seeker's feet.
"I know someone's here!" He stopped walking and peaked under the tree house. "Ha!"
You let out a light scream and ran away with the.. still unknown but good looking guy following behind you, you turned around to look at him for a quick moment. "Run Faster!"
"What do you think I'm doing?" He yelled back. You laughed at his response, your legs were growing weak and your breathing was unstable, you started slowing down until a hand grabbed yours, a wave of electricity radiated from your wrist.
You looked up and saw the sky suddenly darkening, raindrops fell down from the clouds.
"Holy shit." You muttered under your breath. The dark haired guy looked at you then at your hands, he turned your wrist around to see your mark and looked at his matching one.
"I guess you're my soulmate?" He panted. "Can I get your name now?"
"...It's Y/n." a grin made its way to your face, you ignored everyone panicking around you and muttering on how it suddenly rained.
"Nice to meet you, soulmate." He smiled. "I always thought I'd meet you during a... hurricane or something."
You laughed at him. "I never thought meeting a soulmate could change the weather completely.. But I'm just happy I found you now, I'm tired of my friends making theories about who your are."
"I hope they were good theories?"
"One of them was about you being a serial killer. Although they were right about one thing."
"which is?"
"That you were a handsome guy but cute at the same time." He scoffed and looked down at his feet. "Ah, the rain's stopping."
"...Wanna ditch them?" He motioned to everyone gathering around. "I know a place with good food."
"You have like.. 12 friends who's going to notice you're gone in a minute." He tilted his head at you, "But I can't say no, huh?"
"Of course you can't it's your first date with your soulmate, you should be excited~" He dragged you away from the park.
You both walked your way to the place he talked about while talking about stuffs about each other, you found out about how savage he could be sometimes, and how he was amazing at dancing, He told you about the 12 other boys he came with, he said they were like his brothers.
"..Wait, I just realized I don't know your name yet." Your eyes widened in realization.
"Why do you need to know?" He raised an eyebrow at you, you playfully pushed him and he laughed. "It's Xu Minghao."
“Xu Minghao.” You repeated.
Your conversation died down until everything was silent, you still had a smile on your face when you turned your head to look at him. After all those years of trying to find your soulmate in the rain he's finally by your side as the sun shined brighter than you've ever seen it shine before, and yet you couldn't feel the heat, you could only feel the butterflies in your stomach and your pounding heart.

A/N: I hope that was ok? Tell me who you want next!

Keeping Secrets — H.JS | warnings, none(?) lmk if u see anything I should add!
I found this cool prompt generator for ships! If ya want the link its here ;D
3/ 13
Fluff, non idol au
Masterlist !
Pt. 3 Hong Jisoo
You and Joshua have been VERY good friends for the longest time. You two have so much in common, like how you two are very bad at keeping secrets.
Its been a year since you two have been dating, but you never really told anyone since you weren't ready to break out the news to anyone, so whenever you are around each other in public you both act a bit awkward.
But when your in private your both so lovey dovey, calling each other "darling" or "dear" , holding hands, kissing, hugging. The whole goddamn lovers packages!
You both think that your really sly "hiding" your relationship but there have been numerous times you've almost been caught.
You both were walking along a hallway not thinking that anyone was here, Joshua held your hand tightly not wanting to let go as for you stuck very very close to him like a magnet.
Little did you know there was 2 pairs of eyes looking at you two from a distance, " Hey lovebirds! " as soon as you both heard that you both let go and distanced from each other. You could hear the two people snickering from a far as you heard your boyfriend shout at the two.
" Coups! Jeonghann! Its not what it looks like I promise you. " he ran towards the two, he almost shaking the two angrily. You pulled Joshua away and apologized to the two older men and ran away.
Another time you two were at a cafe, but you were both stupid and didn't find a cafe that was unknown to your other friends and picked the most popular one in the area.
" Open up " you said as you lifted your spoon that had a piece of cake on it, Joshua opened his mouth as the spoon came closer and closer as soon as he was about to eat the cake a familiar voice called him
" Hi Joshua! What are you doing here? " he almost choked on the spoon when he heard non other than Lee Seokmin, aka Dk.
You dropped your spoon and quickly hid under the table as dk approached. " I thought I saw a girl with you here earlier? Werid I must be seeing things... "
Joshua cleared his throat " Yeah I'm eating here alone... Haha. " he tried to peak under the table to see if you were okay, you gave him a thumbs up and a slight smile that you were ok.
" Dude is something wrong? " " No.. I just thought I dropped something"
Even after having so many of these incidents, you both thought your relationship was kept a secret. Eventually you both thought you had to come clean eventually,
so you both decided to when both of you were hanging out with your friends.
It was a fun night for everyone, laughter was spread across the room. Everyone was having a good time, this is the perfect time to say it. Joshua looked at you for confirmation, you nodded your head and Joshua spoke out,
" Me and y/n have something to say. " the whole room went silent, you took a deep breath in " Me and Joshua are dating surprise!... " there was a moment of silence, but that silence was loud then all of your friends bursted into laughter.
" Jesus i thought it was something serious like you broke up " Dino spoke out, " Wait you're not surprised? I thought no one knew. " Joshua raised an eyebrow and looked at everyone else, you were especially dumbfounded, frozen in place.
" We all knew from the very start " they all collectively said
" Oh. "

Roleplaying/Writing
My favorite muse(s) of theirs and why
Gosh dang it. You’re really gonna make me pick? Alright... for now I’m gonna go with Lief because he’s a Good Boy (tm). So sweet and caring to Oliver. Their relationship is so nice when Lief isn’t bringing / cooking wild animals in his home x’D Also I just enjoy his view on things. So simple, and amusing at times
My favorite interaction/thread of theirs
Again. Pick?! Hm... That food fight in the IMs was pretty funny x3 Aeron and Jace making play bites their Thing (tm) was also good. Or that thing with them as kids playing with dino toys together. It wasn’t a thread but it was so freaking cute
My thoughts on their unique characterization/interpretation of their muse(s)
CONTENT. ALL THE C O N T E N T!!!!!
Anyone that gets to see such content should feel blessed. You have SO MANY muses and they’re all so unique and real. Also seriously love how they connect in this relationship web that I’ve only seen part of
My thoughts on their writing style as a whole
Good shit bro. Sometimes a little overwhelming but good
Situation(s)/Plot(s) I’d love to see their muse(s) in
ALL OF THEM??!?! But to be more specific, H.unger G.ames or T.he G.ood P.lace plot would be cool. Ooo A.merican H.orror S.tory? C.oven or A.pocolypse? Omg humor me with a C.ells At W.ork AU. ( Eira and Tancred can be the white and red blood cell!!! ) Or another anime, P.arasyte? U.mbrella A.cademy?! D.etective P.ikachu / P.okemon?!?! All the plots Thorn.
Someone else I love seeing them interact with
I honestly don’t read a lot of threads n stuff outside of what I’m doing. Sometimes things will catch my eye but otherwise... heh... I do be seein u with ofwondersandhares a lot tho. So there’s that?
Anything else I want to say about their roleplaying
I really don’t get why people don’t write with you more. There’s a lot of opportunity right there for people. :/
And did I mention content?! You know so much about your muses. I aspire to be that in tune with these guys one day
If We Know Each Other
What I Think Are Their Best Qualities
Honesty. I mean sometimes it can be pretty blunt but I don’t really have to be guessing what you might not be saying. I figure if you have a problem with me you’ll tell me. Which is kinda relieving to me. Helps when I overthink.
Also ridiculously imaginative. I mean do I really need to elaborate on this one?
What I Think Are Their Strengths
Besides the answer to the above question, you don’t take things to heart too much, which I admire since I do that all the time. It’s great you can brush things off and move on to other good things without getting too caught up in being upset
A Memorable OOC Interaction Of Ours
First game night. Absolutely one of the best nights I’ve ever had. Hilarious. Can’t wait to do it again. The fact that we named the killer Asher was AMAZING
Why Others Should RP With Them
Hello if it’s not clear from what I’ve been saying then idk how to help you. The sheer vastness of content for all the rp you could ever want is right there man. So much opportunity! All the little details and plots too!! Bonus, you get a friend that will give you head pats- no, wait. those are mine. But still, good fren! *pats their head* A lot of friENDSHIP can fit in here
How Others Should Approach Them
You could toss them some memes. Pretty sure they crave them lol ( Not like they don’t post about it ). And as a multi I am well aware of the specifying muse deal but I don’t think they mind so much that they won’t answer. You’ll just get whatever they roll lol BUT definitely specify muse if you can bc like I said, as a multi, it’s just better that way especially with the number of muses they have. OR you could do the big brain move and IM them “Hey I wanna write with you but I have no idea where to start with your muses. Do you have a preference?” and you guys can talk about who would mesh well together and then you can send memes or write a starter or even get a starter! Pretty sure it’s the same for anyone.
Funny note on that one tho. I think they approached me ooc by just sending my a post in IMs. I don’t even remember what it was or why they sent it. I was wildly confused but ya know. Gotta start somewhere lol Point is, you’ll be fine approaching them however you do. Just don’t ghost.
Other Roleplayers I’d Recommend To Them
You could write with the Teares’ siblings ( in the verse where they are related at least. Haven’t talked about if that’ll be a main thing or not ), baby sis @the-wonderland-jinx and Aeron’s twin @faultycode. The other muses on there are also great.
@klavz is a great Klaus imo. The dialogue is so on point. Like I could actually hear Klaus saying those things. Whether you feel the same is up to you but... definitely give ‘em a chance.
There are others but it’s more of a general ‘I like them’ rather than having specific reasons you’d mesh well with / be interested in them.
Anything else I want to say about them
I think I’ve said quite a lot already lol Anything more is pretty much a repeat
I like writing with them. I like talking to them. I think they’re pretty cool and I think other people ought to check them out. A summary by me
If We Have/Plan To Interact Together
A plot I’d like to write with them
Ooo. Um. I know a lot of plots probably got lost bc I’ll come up with an idea and then get distracted with something else. But if I remember any of those definitely lol Also now that I’m on a fresh new blog I will heckin put that shit in a post so I don’t lose it.
That thing where Aeron drops into Wonderland and runs into Soulless!Asher is still in my drafts if you still want that to be a thing. So not all things were lost! lol
But getting back to the question, outside of those sort of things, and being more specific than just everything... T.he G.ood P.lace plot seems good. Pretending these people got into ‘heaven’ when they’re actually in a special hell that tortures them psychologically by picking a set of people that would eternally torture each other bc their personalities and behaviors clash perfectly. Asher ( or all your deadly sin demons really ) would definitely get a kick out of that I bet. Especially on Aeron. Ooo and Oliver.
A muse I want to introduce to them
Max. He’s a muse that’s gonna be on my other multi. He’s a soft boi like Oliver but not as fragile. Very friendly, and actually not human! He’s a changeling that ended up being raised human. Still working on him but I feel like he is basically the peak of my creativity lmao
A ship/broship I’d like to propose to them
I mean I know we mentioned it but Post!Oliver and Tancred would be cool. And I say Post! bc I’m pretty sure Tancred would stay the heck away from him otherwise lol
Also! Lorelei should meet Killian sometime. I’ve never really figured out her and Oliver’s relationship soo... It’s bound to be interesting whatever I do on the fly lol
A thread with them I’m excited about
Every time I see you in my notifications I get excited. But I suppose I am pretty excited for that band ask to turn into a thread 👀
Anything else I want to say
At this point, you might as well follow them if you follow me. Spice up your dash with whatever they’re into for the moment. Find new interests. Learn how to develop your muse
Please read that with the same energy as ‘fuck around and find out’
#long post tw#( look at all this love!! so much effort was put into this )#☆ 》 answered#thornstocutyouwith#☆ out of compassion 》 ooc ☆

bodyguard reader! Dino
anon requested: “ requests are open omg! is it possible to do a bodyguard AU but with a female character as the body guard instead? any member is fine, even if you can’t thank you ❤️❤️ “
to be honest you were highkey salty
you were a highly trained agent, excelled in all forms of martial arts, trained in hacking, a perfect candidate for undercover work
and your father was actually making you become bodyguard for some group
wth
you were “too young to work for the government” according to the higher ups
i mean if you were talking international age, you were already 18
in a few months you’d be legal in Korea, so what was the deal
“yah, listen, you can’t even drink yet, so take this time to relax, taking on this easy job”
you know better than to groan in front of your father, so you bow respectfully before leaving
it was okay though
the job was only a few months, as you were a guard during their World Tour
you had the rest of your life in front of you
you don’t need to be doing life threatening things yet
so with a bag swung over your shoulder, dressed in black leggings, a floral top, cardigan, and cute sneakers
hopefully you look makeup noona enough
your cover for the time you’re going to spend guarding, to avoid suspicion
so you sit on the chair at the front desk, crossing your legs, and leaning back casually
listening and watching attentively, you hear foot steps, the sound of someone coming downstairs
you’re already staring at him when he sees you
“who are you?” he asks, standing as far away from you as possible, guarded
standing calmly, you smile, “finally someone, i wonder why there’s no one at the front desk”
you hum, purposefully not matching your tone with the serious look on his face
he squints at you suspiciously, “she’s on lunch break”
“well then,” you take a step closer, small smile still on your face
“my name’s y/n, i’m your new… makeup artist”
his face had clicked in your brain
Lee Chan
even with the cap and mask covering most of his features
his glaring eyes are still distinct
“and how do I know you’re not a saesang”
you almost laugh at his defensive stance
“just get someone who works here and they’ll explain”
you smile prettily
he backs away carefully, and you hear the sounds of his steps quickly pounding against the stairs
just five minutes later, a crowd of men stagger into the small lobby
staring at you
while you calmly introduce yourself again with a smile on your face, their manager steps up
“we’re sorry for the inconvenience, come this way”
the looks on their faces as they make way for you, priceless
turns out, they were excepting a new bodyguard, just not the bodyguard to be
you
they open up to you quickly, the common age you shared with Chan helping
ironically, that’s the only one you didn’t talk to often
you converse with Jun and Minghao about marital arts in Chinese
make jokes with Joshua and Vernon in English
mess around with BooSeokSoon after letting your guard down
helping Mingyu cook for guys who eat more than humanly possible
even Jihoon let his guard down and got comfortable with you after a week
but besides the first confrontation, you and Chan haven’t had a single conversation
it was painfully obvious too
that’s how you end up sitting on the dance floor in silence with Chan
“hey doesn’t dance practice start in five minutes”
he nods, “i have no clue where they are”
both of your phones ding simultaneously
you look down to read a text in the group chat from Soonyoung
“hey kids, we got hungry so we went out for food, don’t worry we’ll bring stuff back kekeke”
you and Chan make eye contact
neither of you guys were stupid, very aware of their intentions
“yah” you smile at him, “let’s do something fun, make them jealous while they’re eating without us”
he chuckles, grinning mischievously, “and how are we going to do that”
you hop up from the floor, “teach me one of your dances”
he gapes at you, “Soonyoung hyung has been trying to convince you to learn a dance for days what the”
you shrug, winking at him, “Soonyoung who?”
he laughs and starts looking around and throws you one of the bomber jackets lying around at you
“Boom Boom?”
you stand closer to him stare at him confidently through the mirrior
you bite your lip at the thought that goes through your head, ‘we kinda look good together’
shaking that out of your head, you punch his arm lightly, “it’s the middle of June and you’re making me wear a bomber jacket really?”
rolling his eyes, he quietly takes out his phone and starts blasting ‘Boom Boom’
“okay okay once more, na ppaegi neoneun Zero“ he’s standing right in front of you, watching closely as you’re doing his part, moving your hips left and right and you really can’t take his expression seriously “pfffttt”
so when the rest of the members come back, they see you and Chan almost collapsing in laughter
almost
as in Chan is grinning, keeping your giggly self upright with his hands on your waist
“WOAH WOAH WOAH WHAT’S THIS”
“we leave the kids alone for an hour and they’re already making moves”
“kids these days are so grown”
instead of getting embarrassed
you both glare at them, Chan crossing his arms and you putting your hands on your hips
“where’s the food”
some of the members get goose bumps as the two youngest speak in snyc
from then on, you and Chan are inseparable
forget any other loyalties you may have had with the others
you were always there to mess with the members with him
up until then, they honestly had no clue what you were doing there
sure, you were a huge help around their dorm and fun you be with
but most of them forgot you were a bodyguard at all
until there first concert of their World Tour rolls around
and they catch you dressed in fitting dress pants, dress shirt, and blazer, on the side meeting with other guards
watching as you guys salute to each other before they return to their posts and you return to them
“you look so professional”
you lean against the counter next to Chan while all the members are getting their makeup done
you smile tightly, “I take my job seriously”
‘she looks so cool’
he gives you a once over, noticing your hair tucked behind your ear, showing off your earpiece
but the gun strapped on your belt was the most eye catching
“you don’t think it’ll get that serious do you?”
you glance away from your phone for your eyes to meet Chan’s worried ones
softly, you smile, knowing he was worried about his fans
“Yah!” you punch his shoulder lightly, grinning cheerily
“it’s pretty much just for show, cool right!”
he looks conflicted, but still nods, his lips twitching back and forth into a smile
the concert goes smoothly as expected
you and Chan maintain your playful relationship just getting closer each day
but it’s almost midnight as all the members and staff have arrived in Bangkok
of course Seventeen is having a mini slumber party in one room
meaning you have to be there also, watching them talk amongst each other cheerfully
then you get a call
from your father
stepping out casually, the others aren’t suspicious at all
but Chan notices the way your grip on your phone tightens as you read the Caller ID
he watches the door closely, and as 10 minutes past, he voices his concerns
“guys where’s Y/n”
their heads whips towards him
“omo she’s been gone for a while huh”
Seungcheol takes the lead and peaks his head out the door
there’s no one
after the call, you already went down to their managers room
“i need to leave”
he furrows his brows confused as you step into his room
“why?”
you hesitate, “there’s a situation.. and I happen to be very close to it”
“i’ll be back in a few hours”
he sighs, crossing his arms, “it’s midnight”
you smile nervously, “duty calls”
already making your way out the hotel, you habitually bite your lip thinking back to the other members
you wish you could’ve said goodnight
“she went WHERE”
Chan immediately hops up from his place on the floor
their manager shakes his head, “you all just go back to your rooms okay? she’ll be back in the morning”
Chan trudges back to his room with Soonyoung at his side talking his ear off
his heart clenches with worry as his mind wonders to the scenarios he’s imagining
for the first time he realized some day, you were going to be doing something dangerous, top secret
and he would never know
just thinking about you coming back the next morning with even a scratch on your cheek left a weird sting in his stomach
that night, as he stared at the ceiling for an hour before he finally gave into his exhaustion
he drowsily realized
the feelings he felt were definitely not platonic
you grunt as you try sneaking back into your room at 6 am, hurrying to wrap your wrist and cover your bruise before anyone worries
but you halt as your eyes meet Chan’s fiery ones
he moves away from your door that he was leaning against as you silent swipe your card to open it
closing the door behind him, he gently grabs your arm spinning you around
not a single words comes out of your mouths
you’re not sure why you’re like this
if it had been anyone else you would’ve laughed and kicked them out
so you don’t know why you stand still as Chan raises his hand, fingers grazing over your bruise
“are you okay?”
when you step back, his hand limply falls back to his side
the way he stares at you makes it impossible to spill some lie with a cheerful smile on your face
“i’m tired”
you tilt your head down, closing your eyes
delicate finger tips lift your chin up
he flashes a grin, immediately warming your heart
“the members are downstairs eating, let’s hurry before there’s no more food”
the whole day you couldn’t get it out of your head
the way Chan carefully helped you wrap your wrist
your cheek where his fingertips touched burning on your face
the small but meaningful glances you and him shared between the hectic rehearsals
the concert music is blasting through your ears currently
you traded posts with a fellow guard so could have the perfect view of Chan performing his solo
watching as Chan dances with every single ounce of passion in him
there’s a thumping in your chest
that same feeling you felt early this morning
as he finishes his stage, you trade back to your original post
completely unsure about how you could face him now
when what you felt for him was too unprofessional
“why do you keep doing this?”
you’re surprised by the soft tone voice from behind you
glancing at him for just a second,
he has beads of sweat dripping down his face from the performance, probably soon to be wiped off by a makeup noona
you clear your throat, “shouldn’t you be getting an outfit change?”
he raises his brows shrugging, “i still have a good ten minutes”
you don’t reply secretly hoping he’ll go away soon
you don’t know what inclined you to turn back around, knowing he was still there
your eyes lock, making it hard to look away
“why i choose to have this job?”
you laugh airly
“to put it simply, how you feel about your job is how i feel about mine”
“i don’t like seeing you get hurt”
a new wave of emotions comes on you as he takes a step closer
the tension is thick as you both stare into each other’s eyes
his show a glimmer of something you’ve only noticed now
“i like you”
your expression must have made him nervous
“i’m serious, not in the friend way, like I like you, probably when i shouldn’t...”
he trails off looking away from you
you’re speechless
“i-i” you mentally curses at yourself, you don’t stutter
“i like you too”
seeing the smile grow on his face, you can’t help showing your own
he gets called back to the makeup room before the conversation can get any further
he grins knowingly, holding your hand for a second before your fingertips pull away slowly
leaning back against the stadium wall
you can hear the vibrations of the song they were performing
holding in a excited laugh when you hear Chan’s voice
no matter how rough this relationship might be
neither of you were doing down without a fight
