hai :) i'm wondering if you could give a quick overview on how to use some of the model textures? some of the file names are quite confusing and I don't really know how to use them apart from the alb/mtl/rgh/nrm/opa/emm/2cl ones. i'm also assuming ao is for ambient occlusion and trm for transmission, but what's thc or resc or fxm etc? i especially can't figure out how to set up the textures for the golden egg. thanks <3

thc is "thickness" which is useful for subsurface scattering, "fxm" is just a "whatever" map and changes its use depending on the model, its for special effects and stuff. i dont actually remember resc, i dont have it on me right now but i think it might be lightwrap? but i think Hlt is a lightwrap, so idk. can you send a resc texture?

Hello friends I put together a new class about building our very own LightWrap in Nuke. LightWrap is a very common treatment that is often used in production to help integrate characters with a background. It’s particularly useful when characters stand in front of a very bright background and we’d expect to see some light interplay between elements. @pgnola got the pleasure of doing a total makeover on Dreka Gates @drekagates brand new G63 AMG G Wagon the past few weeks. We started with a custom luster finish on the Taxi Beige wrap. Then of course she needed new shoes. So we put some 22" x 10.5" Savini Black di Forza BM16 wheels w/ 285/45R22 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. We then did custom door inlays pinstriped with gloss black, a full chrome delete including badges, Luxe LightWrap tint front to back, red painted calipers w/ AMG logos and painted exhaust too. This thing is sleek, classy & beautiful and one of a kind to saybthe least. Light Wrap

Then I added a light wrap on the guy so the Earth looks like it’s shining through the window. It doesn’t give a huge effect but it adds something. I also added it to the desk. When I did it to the window frame it had hardly any effect so I removed it.

This is nearly the finished version of the shot, the only thing that I’m not sure is the bottom piece of the window sill. But, thinking about this and comparing to the real original plate, this would just be the sky reflecting instead of the city. The lightwraps help the effect too.
