On Luke's Green crystal

I love the idea that he made his own and not that he got one passed down to him. And it's because this allows us to tell the stories about someone who's trying to be part of a culture that unreachable for some reason

One of my favorite lines out of one of the novels is addressed to him. And I think it's a good one for the new Republic time frame. Obi-wan Kenobi, calls him the first of the new. The new Republic is a time to discover what was lost, what was buried, and what is a new way forward.

Because making a crystal means leaning into the skills that Luke already has. But making it on his own means that he has to figure his own way. The new way. And I think that's a really good story to tell

Sharl's Tomb

Sharl's tomb, a powerful fiery lightsaber crystal that houses a spirit of a Dark Jedi by the name of Joran Sharl. A piece I have really enjoyed working on for cloudwhinny - I love item design and crystals are among the top of items I enjoy creating.

Merging the symmetrical clean form of a crystal with fiery chaos was a pleasant challenge. I hope you like how it turned out.

AU! STAR WARS LEGENDS:

Cade Skywalker went missing after the One Sith attacked the Ossus Project, and nearly twenty years later, he has yet to be found found.

Many of his friends have gone missing as well, including Wolf Sazen and Shado Vao.

Darth Krayt has been slain at the hands of Darth Wyyrlok III

Darth Talon has also been slain, but her cause of death is currently undetermined

Maladi and Nihl have joined forces and created their own sect of Acolytes.

Oscar Pine is close friends with Weiss and her family, and was given some gifts by them before he answered the call.

Winter Schnee is a Knight of the Fel Empire, who defected, and passed her armour onto Weiss, who has it repurposed for Oscar.

Winter has kept her imperial lightsaber but intends to switch out the synthetic crystal for something different.

She has also constructed her own personal lightsaber, which is completely unique to her.

The Fel Empire has been rounding up lost and fallen jedi since the attack on the Ossus Project.

Taiyang tempers Pontites and forges synthetic crystals to utilise in his highly customised lightsabers.

Taiyang has also created his own lightsaber using pontite crystals, but this one requires further maintenance because natural crystals do not react well after artificial tempering.

Ruby has found a way to augment the crystals during the forging process into creating a superior blade.

Oscar is given Ozma’s personal lightsaber until Ruby arrives with the new ones, and after the Acolytes are defeated, he returns it to Ozma.

Margrave Ozma’s personal lightsaber has a blue blade, and it is powered by three natural crystals.

One Solari to widen the blade.

One Durindfire, which gives the blade a silver-sheen.

One Pontite that instills a calm in the wielder and others around.

The Acolytes who come to the Margrave's home are sworn to Darth Nihl and Maladi.

But have also sworn allegiance to a hidden Lord of the Sith calling herself Darth Bellum, who hails from the Old Republic.

Rhodes taught Cinder everything she knows.

Jedi trying to not sound any more strange than they already do to non-jedi: the Kyber crystal that powers my lightsaber is Force Sensitive, but it isn't sentient.

Actual Kyber Crystals: the judgiest bitches you've ever met. Has opinions on everything. If your cat could gossip to you and also help you with your sword form that would be a Kyber crystal.

Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsaber: first this karking shabuir keeps dropping me which wasn't bad because the handsome commander would polish me and give me good vibes before returning me and NOW he buries me in a kriffing desert. Bruck Chun was right. Oafy-Wan would lose his head if it wasn't attached. Worse human in existence.

But I'm not surprised headland doesn't get that with her whole "uwu sith beans" shit

For a while I wondered why Dagen Gera corrupted his kyber crystal right after he got out of the bacta. Why was that so high on his priority list? Why would he immediately reveal to the Jedi who woke him up that he is Fallen? But I think I have an answer.

Cal gives Dagen his lightsaber back, and Dagen activates it. Maybe in that moment, the kyber crystal senses that Dagen has fallen. And Dagen senses that the crystal is unwilling to work with him, that it will fight him if he tries to use his lightsaber. So Dagen has no choice but to bleed his kyber crystal and bend it to his will if he wants to use it.

I take that back, he did have a choice. He could've chosen to start the climb back toward the Light, but then we'd have a very different story.
