Health and Healing

Hello friends! 

I am on a serious quest to discover the wonders of our self-healing bodies God has given us. It starts with me...and fully living out the convictions the Holy Spirit has placed on my heart. Soon to come will be postings on my radical diet change. as i replace the SAD food I eat( cooked,white flour, processed sugar...) with nourishing living raw foods. #alwaysmorelife 

The consequences of my own choices has been heavy on my heart lately..

Deuteronomy 30:19-20

Before going I didn’t do much research about Edinburgh, I like being surprised and I really love walking around a city and seeing what I can find. One thing that was at the top of list of things to do though was Camera Obscura. I’ve heard suuuuch amazing things about it. There’s six floors and each one is themed and it’s so.much.fun. My favourite was the floor I took these photo on, it also had a mirror maze and every time I found the exit I walked back the other way because it was so much fun and I didn’t want it to end.

Light and Free UK Presents: Magic Morning Rave!

“Magic Morning Rave” - What springs to mind when you say those 3 words? To me, it sounds like some kind of 6am hippy after party, when everyone’s trying to hold on to the music and fun from last nights rave. 

If I told you it actually involved getting up at the crack of dawn and exercising completely sober, would you still be interested?!

This morning, we headed down to The Magic Roundabout at Old Street for what was actually a really fun and magical experience. Especially considering we were doing it not long after we’d woken up!

To promote Danone’s new light yogurts ‘Light & Free’ we went to a morning rave. Light & Free is a delicious new range of Greek-style yogurts from Danone. Each pot contains 30 percent fewer calories than most other full-fat fruit yogurts available, zero percent added sugar, zero percent fat and is packed with luxurious pieces of real fruit making them even more irresistible. The whole place was decorated in multi colors. There was a photo booth and glitter station, bicycles you could ride to produce your own smoothies and an amazing spread from The Social Pantry.

We actually worked up a sweat but it was great fun! We danced, sweated, relaxed, ate, got glittered up and massaged to wind down. 

Now back to the office... haha

I know that Edinburgh has a good music scene, and we stumbled upon a couple of independent record stores. I’ve just got a vinyl player and my collection is slowly growing so I bought the new Bon Iver album as a little souvenir of the trip! From there we headed for some food and ended up watching a gig before winding our way down all the little lanes (and hills) of the city back to our hotel to get some sleep!!
