This is not a game. this is your freaking future. put in the hours, study, and become the best version of yourself. these excuses aren't going to cut it. Those hours you spent on social media? What did they ever get you - other than headaches, low self esteem, dark eye circles. You've always envied people for achieving so much in life, it's your turn. You won't be doing TikTok dances, or making Pinterest boards in the examination hall. You can sleep in the coffin. Stop taking this lightly.

so yet again, i underestimated the length of the lectures and it took me the ENTIRETY of the damn day to get done with them + I HAD PROBLEM SHEETS FOR THEM TOO UGH, but tihi, we're okay, we're demure, we're mindful :D

Happiness?

I have forgotten what happiness is. I have forgotten how it feels. I remember laughing so hard that my stomach cramped up and the joy of seeing movies but not the accurate feeling of happiness. I can't recall the last time I felt it. Nowadays it's just a satisfaction because I know I won't have that particular feeling again. I have become too cautious to be happy.

I failed. i fucked up.

Please ignore this post. you can say i am venting here.

Today I had my vlog making competition- state level. I did the editing , scripting and research and my partner did the recording.

Our vlog was perfect and was also submitted to the coordinator and at their website

There we went to different school to present it and we had to do 1 minute presentation too. Everything seemed good , we went to other school by car and arrived after a while we even practiced our presentation while showcasing it to our teachers too.

We entered the hall and there were like 32 groups of students from different schools.

me and my partner took our place on stage as the vlog showcased on the big screen.

It was time for presentation.

My partner started and my turn soon came

I looked at the students before starting

And here i fuck up

Anxiety attack in middle of my presntation

I fumbled upon my words as my hand trembled while holding the mic

My gaze went to the judges - they were smiling and small bit of determination came into me but it all shattered when my gaze went to other students those who were whispering to each other.

I somehow ended my part of presentation and sat back to our seats with my partner while tears welling up in my eyes and my body trembling.

How could I ruin such thing? Not only for myself but for my school and for my partner too?

My partner looked at me with disappointment and my teacher trying to calm me down.

How can I be such a fool ?

We could have won if I didn't had to ruin it just like that

I left school age 15, pregnant and with no qualifications. I couldn't return to education as I had Dave to look after. I took my American GED when I was 30. I took my GCSE's when I was 36 and started my degree when I was 46 and graduated before I turned 50.
