what do i love most about myself?

mmm, now this is a tough question, because it's so hard to pinpoint one thing when you're so amazing as a whole /jk 😭

but okay, i don't really know what i love the most about myself, if we're talking physically and let's say i go stand infront of a mirror and try to find out my favourite feature on myself, i'd nitpick myself apart and probably find a few things i dislike than find one i love, but it's not too bad yk? i think it's humane to be insecure, all of us are? at least that's what i think so, so what do i love the most about myself? i don't know, but what i do know is the fact that i love myself, like i love my friends i take care of myself, like i take care of my plants, i am grateful for myself, like i'm grateful for my family and that i'll always be my side, i don't hate myself, i don't loathe myself, yes i'm insecure, but even if i had the chance, i wouldn't change a thing.

i wasn't always the person who loved myself, i've been harsh with myself, compared to other people, but who wakes up every morning and gets ready for the day and takes care of my every need? me.

i hug myself when i cry, i wipe my own tears, i smile to myself, i laugh at my own jokes in my head ofc i'm not crazy, so even though i can't pick one thing that i love the most , i know that i do love myself, a lot.

what would make me most proud to accomplish next year?

the answer to this one is very simple, qualifying that damned exam, i just want to be able to get into a good engineering university and pursue my preference of a major, which happens to chemical tmi, but nevertheless, accomplishing my dream of going to a worthy uni would make me the proudest next year!

another set of notes i took for the mocks, so i didn't properly update on the previous one on the 18th, we did better than on the first, both my marks and percentile increased, i emailed my math teacher about the strategy i'd be using to review for the next one, and he called it a perfect plan! validation keeps me going y'all :D

i've been engrossed in revising oc, and finally we're done except for this one little topic i plan on completing today itself, i've also identified my shortcomings and have tried to work on them, let's hope we do better tomorrow, wish me luck!

what am i the most proud of from this year?

so, this is year i faced many hurdles, the primary being that i wasn't able to do well enough on my entrance exam, which shook my confidence to the core and i was genuinely broken, but alongside the academic failure came the disappointments, and honestly, they were more heartbreaking, i heard things, which to this day are capable of bringing tears to my eyes, now given the back story to answer what i am the most proud of from this year, is my own self for holding strong when nobody else did, there were so many nights i cried myself to sleep and nobody knew or cared, i'm not victimising myself, rather appreciating the resilience, most people do not realise just how hard it is to take a gap year, to isolate yourself from the world and do this, so i'm proud of the 2024 me for staying strong despite the hindrance, i'd not say i didn't have days where i wanted to give up, but i'm proud to say, i didn't and if in case i don't succeed, i'd still be proud of the 2024 me for going through this journey, will always be thankful for her.

hii, ofc i'd try to be of some help!

alrighty so, for physics what i personally do is revise my notes and solve as much problems as i can, i was lucky enough to have a really good teacher of physics is my 12th grade, but if you struggle with the concepts, i recommend you watch some lecture before proceeding with the questions, i'd personally suggest eduniti, the lectures are short, concise and exam oriented, but if you're also interested in knowing the derivations ,then i'd suggest you to watch physics galaxy.

in physics, it's very important to be aware of all the types of questions that can be asked, so solving past papers would be of great great help, and this might seem like the most cliché advice, but do not ignore your textbook, be through with the theoretical portion! and try and practice as much as you can, the more you lift up your pen for physics, the easier it would get!!

Which youtubers do you watch

that's an interesting question, lesgo!

so, i watch a lot of long form vlog like videos, some study some daily life, but if i had to pick up my favourite channels, they'd be, doobydobap, wtv her content type is i absolutely love her videos for some reason, i also really like kokohome and via li, some more study vlogs like, serena, diana vlogs, judy vs world and kay chung ofc!

also also, i love long form one on one talking type of videos? my favourites would be inayah, the wizlardliz and yan, and i absolutely absolutely adore neru shima!

and there's no way in hell i'd forget about BuzzFeed Unsolved, at least i used to, when Shane and Ryan did that, Watcher doesn't do it for me now though, but hail the watcher pls someone get the ref

i also love Stephanie Soo, like how could one not!? and channels like fern and nexpo, oh and anthpo!!

i watch a lot of random shit so this is pretty messy :')

the first full syllabus mock is tomorrow, i have reviewed the entirety of physics & ioc, have been doing oc as of now, and doing integral calc in math, everything has been so so hectic, but we're holding up strong, idk why i have this twinge of excitement? i hope i'm not misinterpreting my anxiety as excitement, but wtv it is, tomorrow's mock will defo help me indentify the loopholes i have, and that way i'd be able to work better, ngl it's hard but ykw, queen never cry.

i heavily underestimated how much content i was trying to review in a day😭 but on a good note i'm almost done with mechanics, which is unfortunately a very small fraction of the syllabus, but we'll do right? right?! 😀

i've been trying to jot down everything i'd need to review so that my future self loves me, but my fingers fs are giving up, oh also, after tomorrow's lecture i'd officially be done with my math syllabus too, meaning, we've successfully wrapped up the syllabus once, but that's not all, not at all enough for the exam, i need multiple reviews, many many mocks and then only will i be suited enough for the actual exam, we're working though, we'll get through it 🤍

anyway, here's the to-do for the day:

complete phy part 1 revision

sequence and series revision + solve 30 problems

revise ioc notes + makes short notes

attend live lecture on conic sections

it's the 10th tomorrow, my first full test is on the 15th, i'm thinking of dividing my subjects in two parts and review, like skim through the notes, but only with chem & phy, with math i want to be rigorous and detail orientated, hmmm that way i can revise a lot of syllabus in one day, and basically mocks would tell me, where i'm lacking so i'd go revise that particular section, sounds better to me yeah, than just rummaging chapter by chapter, alrightyy so here's the to-do for tomorrow:

adv problems on statistics lect + problem sheet + previous year problems sheet

continue vector 3-d revision + solve 30 more problems

revise half the syllabus of physics (which comprises of sub topics: mechanics, heat & oscillations, which is approx 15 chapters :D)
