[It's going down] I'm yelling timber
Several doodles in this one!
❗️For commonly asked qs please see my BTD FAQ
Everything is similar but she wears a dress version.
Yes (after becoming a Royal) but it's more of a "formaility" as he hasn't had any reason to use it yet. There's a lot of gaps since he relies more on mobility than brute force, and he can also rapidly fill in any areas with harder ichor if need be.
He used to work for the previous King as a Collector.
I think it depends, since he's a Royal now they tend to use some variation of their demon signs as an official "signature" so it might look like the first pic. His prior signature might look something like the second (fancy cursive).
Base: [x]
Rire's ichor tentacles are directly controlled by his consciousness/sub-consciousness so yes technically they could do such things XD But that is something that would have happened more when he was a child/learning how to use the ichor powers - he has such fine control now that the likelihood of it happening anymore is negligible.
...you could kiss them if you want I suppose, he does have some feeling through them lol.
I once described Rire's ichor as existing but not existing at the same time (ah, dichotomy haha). Basically if the ichor is not connected to the manifestation point on Rire's back all trace of it will eventually disappear. So that's handy in more ways then one :d
This post goes into more detail about the ichor consistencies:
Rire was born 973 years ago and was primarily raised by his mother after both his father and then later his stepfather died when he was a child/teen.
He would raise a child similarly to how he was raised. 🤔 YMMV whether this would be considered good parenting but he does have affection towards his own parents so there's that.
Well i did draw the baby!BTD in that same picture so...however i drew them as lol XD; Thanks muchly and keep at it!
Yes the years are the same. As stated in my BTD FAQ "I don’t know if you could classify what he feels as “love” in the same definition we are used to…" :d
Short answer: no.
Long answer: if you consider real world biology it would be like this
SOME species of demons are close enough to humans that they could reproduce with them. If the offspring is viable it's usually infertile like a liger (cross between a lion and a tiger) or a mule, though sometimes/rarely it could result in fertile offspring.
This works similarly between different demon species (different ones are more compatible with certain species compared to others etc), though the likelihood of fertile offspring is greater. Also depending on the species some genes are way more dominant so a child might end up basically being more or less one species type.
[An excerpt from a World War letter. Several similar letters have been documented from both Allies and Central/Axis Powers]
My dearest, I witnessed the most peculiar scene several days ago. Honestly I am not sure if it actually happened or if my mind was playing tricks on me. I was on my evening sentry duty over No Man's land when I saw him - a man, standing alone in the fog past the razor wire and amongst those poor souls neither side had managed to retrieve. Dearest, I swear that man had not been there a second ago! At first I thought this was enemy activity, but his uniform was clearly not German and neither was it one of ours - maybe the oddness is what stayed my tongue at the time. Out of a morbid curiosity I watched as he crouched near several bodies for a long moment - perhaps to pay his respects? - before walking off and disappearing out of sight. I am honestly surprised no one had shot at him! The next day there was a large shout as a grievously injured Johnson - whom was lost in No Man's Land after a failed trench raid - was suddenly within reaching distance just over our trench walls! It was a miracle! He was delirious and had no idea how he had made it back by himself, but mentioned a "General" who had offered help in his lowest moment. Clearly he was unwell as there were no Generals around...but dearest...I can't help but wonder --
[Johnson would survive his injuries and go on to become a well decorated soldier before returning home a hero. He would die 10 years later from "idiopathic anaphylaxis" with an odd look of fear on his face.]
I'm not sure why some of you think this but to put it as clearly as I can (since this is not the first time I've been asked this):
Cain is not my character.
I would hope that you guys understand that just because someone doesnt seem to be on the internet anymore it doesnt mean their character is suddenly an adoptable/up for grabs???
No - I have enough of my own characs I dont need to actually steal someone else's. (Also see above answer)
IMO in any universe Rire and Cain are like oil and water. So, i would say yes there is a way that they could get together but it would probably involve kidnapping and criminal confinement on one of their behalfs :d
I never read Warrior Cats so I have no particular thoughts about this lol.
Demon!Strade is a Gatoverse creation XD; - meaning Gato created him and so it has no correlation with my demon types. He would probably be like a level 4 or 5 maybe (aside from being LARGE, idk about his other power sets lol) and a clear case of needing an exorcism :d
Both of them are naturally charismatic (though, Demon!Rire can dial his up to noticeably unnatural levels). Human!Rire can be considered more manipulative and subtle than the demon version since in his 'verse "real world" consequences are actually things he has to consider. He is also a bit less interested in mind games than Demon!Rire.
-...gestures at humans, which he prefers to mess with for the sheer variety of reactions-
That is not part of his skill set, no :d Also much in the same way that animals with sharp teeth don't willy nilly bite their tongues off, demons with sharp teeth are like...used to having/biologically designed to have sharp teeth.
THANKING YOU \o/
It wouldn't lol. Also if i saw Rire IRL i would immediately pretend to have NOT seen him because that would mean that I've somehow had a hand in creating a tulpa.
#boyfriend to death#answer dump#rire answer dump#art#doodle#lady rire#ok new rule you guys have to stop asking me if Cain is my character idk why this has suddenly become a thing but its getting weird

I've been getting into gunpla and i'd like a rec since you know mecha. Are there any gunpla you recommend? I'd appreciate one that doesn't look like a dude as much as possible.

The closest i've gotten to that idea so far is a guarda/rever nova build from the 30 minute missions line because of the two scorpian arms.
May I suggest the Wodom Pod?
Its fairly simple to build, very cheap and readily available.
--
If you want to straddle the "a guy thing" in your mentality and challenge it a little, also good is the Aegis specifically its transformation mode as its primary mode (like all humanoid MS) is intended for generalized combat and front-line logistical work (hence the hands).
--
If not, Hildolfr is a fun one. He bridges the space between early mobilesuits in minovsky signals displacement warfare and was used by a starship cannon pilot, requiring a lot of manual skill to aim well!
--
The Xamel is also really good though only provided you've got skills to bring the best out of the kit with scribing and painting. He's a heavy launch platform hovercraft designed for opening vollies with a high powered mortar grenade system via coordinates coming from other units, with legs designed for hit and run skirmishes so he can make his get-away after providing the opening strikes and fire-support during the mop-up phase of an attack.
--
Not gunpla, and a bit more advanced is Variable Infinity's Armored Core Aaliyah. You're probably gonna need some glue for this as smaller parts fall off. Its extremely detailed, and very "not a guy" despite being humanoid.
youtube
It uses a spherical particle field of highly radioactive and toxicparticles to protect and cool itself, and is capable of absurd mobility.
Quite a pain in the ass to work with, the design itself is utterly sublime and a spectacle to look at and I fell in love with it circa 2007 with Armored Core 4. Sadly, it isn't anywhere near as posable as most Gunpla due to how "un-guy-like" its body design is. These are the concessions we make cool appearances like this.
--
A substantially easier build (and much closer to Gunpla) is bandai's 30 minute mission 30MM Armored CORE Ⅵ Fires of Rubicon - BALAM Industries BD-011 MELANDER Liger Tail
I'm a huge sucker for 4-legged mecha since they're about as far from "an guy" as you can get. They're also super affordable right now if you can find a stockist who isn't a scalper.
--
Also while not Gunpla, if you have advanced skills, Gunhed is also very good though it requires a lot of extra work since the plastic provided with this kit is more of a raw material you need to do work to, to achieve the look and hide the seams akin to more traditional model kits. Gunhed's role is to invade gigantic sprawling synthetic superstructures and wipe out unmanned weapons.
--
Though likely not to your tastes, my own personal favourite of the year has actually been the Lfrith Ur. I don't usually go for chunkier designs but it has that delightful "chubby girl in a swimsuit" energy despite being a very intense and scary weapon that scratches some strange itch in my brain that I find deeply pleasing.
It is likewise, also very cheap -- and if you get two of them, its very easy to mod them together into a single 4-legged machine with double loadout (very cool, and probably bringing it more in like with your preference -- I wish I still had photos: I'm currently out of the country and my "big database of cool research files" is at home and wouldn't search well from two continents away)
--
Also Zowort heavy from the same line if you do the same quad-leg/tetrapod adaption looks amazing. I have a huge soft-spot for unusual legs, if its not clear.
--
I hope this provides some food for thought. If you have a clearer idea of the kind of kit you want, or what your needs are, let me know and I can provide more suggestions if you'd like.
Happy modelling!!

SRW Y Wishlist Part 2
Some more series I'd love to see in Super Robot Wars Y. Trying to avoid things that have already been in the official english translated games (VXT and 30), but there a few exceptions/tangential series. Onward to the next set:

UFO Grendizer/Grendizer U (TV Series): Here's the Mazinger inclusion we kinda need at this point. Grandizer (which is apparently spelled Grendizer with an E, not really sure about that choice but okay) is the third Mazinger series from the 70's, and has had a strange resurgence in presence in the last couple years, with both the new Grendizer U anime and a current generation video game based on the original 70s series. Really don't get it myself but I'm happy to see it. Grendizer on the surface sounds like possibly the most interesting of the original Mazinger trilogy of series, but has lost a lot of prominence with the appearance of things like Mazinkaiser and Shin Mazinger. I think this is one we need to see again, and clearly someone with some actual influence seems to agree with me on that point.

Hades Project Zeorymer (OVA): A high quality 80's OVA loosely based on a short manga series definitely aimed at adult audiences, Zeorymer also has a strange bit of current day attention being brought to it as an upcoming DLC unit in the recently released Iron Saga VS fighting game. As a beautifully animated dark sci-fi mecha series, Zeorymer always kinda feels unfinished, but the OVA did a good job making that ambiguity part of the appeal. Zeorymer has been one of the legendary powerhouse mechs in other SRW games, primarily SRW J, where the manga based Great Zeorymer first showed up, but it would be nice to see the original again. Heck, I'd be interested in seeing the other Hakkeshu mechs being playable.

Zoids New Century Zero (TV Series): Honestly, any Zoids series would be a fantastic inclusion, as the franchise really doesn't get as much attention as it deserves. Zoids keeps chugging along in the background of toy and model franchises, continuing to have new releases even today, but their anime heyday was in the early 2000s, when New Century Zero and Chaotic Century/Guardian Force were internationally known thanks to Toonami. Also, mecha animals are awesome and I'd love a modular Liger to use as a regular member of my squad. I chose New Century Zero because I don't think it's ever had proper story inclusion in the SRW series.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE (TV Series): Available to stream free on Tubi just like Gundam X, but I don't know how much I can recommend this one. AGE is a facinating story about the experiences and motivations of three generations of pilots for the AGE series of Gundams, originally developed by Flit Asuno and later inherited by his son and grandson. For the first three arcs, AGE weaves a story about the dangers of allowing personal trauma to disconnect you from empathy, with each generation growing in terms of personal motivations reflecting how they deal with their own pain and difficulties. It's kinda bad in regards to the treatment of women in the show (who rarely get to be dynamic and interesting characters), but the real failure comes with the fourth arc, where the show completely drops the ball on its message by failing to commit to the character paths they clearly set up throughout the series. But hey, SRW has improved interesting but flawed shows before (Cross Ange and Unicorn being good examples), so maybe there's some magic they can work with AGE, too.

Bang Brave Bang Bravern (TV Series): Super robot anime, modern successor the Brave franchise from the 90s, and plenty of homoeroticism. I kinda don't need to go any further than that.

Lord of Lords Ryu Knight (TV Series): Don't be fooled by the cutesy designs. Taking place in a fantasy world, the series tells the story of a group of pilots who have inherited the Ryu mechs. These machines are the key to facing an oncoming threat from beyond the planet, but in the time since they were last needed, their power has somewhat faded. A cast of RPG style characters in RPG style machines (which each have official classes based on those games) makes for a fun fantasy experience that is just serious enough for its own good.

Rayearth (OVA): I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of this story in comparison to the original version, but that largely has to do with their character assassination of Eagle Vision. Everything else in here is fantastic, from character and mechanical designs to the re-imagined story about the importance of accepting the shifting and transient nature of life and relationships. Seriously, just replace Eagle with Debonair and you have a short version of Rayearth that can stand alongside its more famous sisters. If nothing else, the OVA designs could be a really cool mid-season upgrade for the original trio of machines.
And that's part two. One more part coming tomorrow. ^_^

Soul of Chogokin GX-113 Gundam Tryon 3
Considering Gundam Build Fighters Try isn't to most popular season of its subline, it's very easy to argue that Tryon 3 is the most popular aspect of that season... except maybe Fumina. Anyway, the Mobile Suits of GBFT were very Super Robot in performance and combat, but Tryon 3 took that to the next step by also referencing them with its aesthetics. Tryon 3 was also easily recognizable as being based off the ZZ Gundam, while most other Gunpla had more original designs which was a common complaint among fans at the time. But despite its popularity, it has only had ever gotten that original kit and a few hard-to-get color and plastic variants, so to have its second iteration be the full-on high-end Super Robot treatment is a welcome surprise.
The Good: While I've heard a ton of good things about the line, this is my first foray into SoC. As the name suggests, there are a lot of metal parts throughout, primarily in the legs but quite a bit is used to reinforce joints. As such, it is very heavy and very solid. It also has a good range of posability, though gentle pressure should be applied when moving the tougher metal joints.
As with the original, Tryon 3 is capable of splitting into Riku Tryon, Sora Tryon, and Umi Tryon. They all carry over the posability they grant to Tryon 3, with Riku Tryon having decently posable legs in addition. The transformation is also very fun, with no parts forming like with the original. Riku Tryon's head is on a dual armature that swings over the chest, Umi Tryon's head fits snugly into the chest cavity, and Sora Tryon's legs completely invert on a set of sliding rails to become the standard Gundam legs. It's all very impressive, and not at all complicated, which speaks wonders to its engineering. It even has added places to store the Sora head and Umi tail which become its sword, and the wings which are usually discarded.
I'll also say, when combined, it feels like the size they portray it as in the show, closer to 1/100 scale than 1/144. Despite a lot of HG kits declaring they're 1/144 scale, that doesn't always match up in practice, with kits like those from Wing or units like Mobile Doll Sarah or May being bigger than they should be, or in this case HG Tryon 3 feeling small, though its size did sometimes feel like it was on a slider.

Apart from a bevy of alternate hands, Tryon 3 does comes with a number of bonus parts, most of which are beam effects. It comes with an enlarged head crest to wield for its iconic Boomerang Stagger, beam effects for both its Hyper Beam Sabers and an over-foot-long one for Hyper Minovsky Chohoken, and propulsion effects with stand capability for Armed Booster. It also comes with a set of two parts so you can depict it pulling Chohoken from the Liger's mouth, with the beam piece alone doubling as a Choho Pressure effect piece.
The included stand is also nice. While it doesn't have undercarriage storage, like with a lot of The Gattai toys, it does try to remain very pristine in appearance. You can separate it into three parts to display the three individual units separately, remove the name plate, and all the armatures you can attach hook onto the existing Riku and Umi plugs, or a cleverly hidden hole in the center of the stand.
The Bad: There's some general tightness and fragility to worry about, though it points out most instances in the instructions. The sword is also quite heavy to the point that it recommends you use one of the armatures to prop it up, though you have to do so with the unreliable clamp arms. I do wish there was some way to plug the stand into the sword if they knew this was going to be a thing. The first time I attached the V-Fin I was worried something was going to snap, though nothing thankfully did.
The biggest issue I had was the hands. They're slightly rubberized, and very tight, so they took quite a bit of force to put on the wrists for the first time. I ended up taking the arms off by the elbow to get the leverage I needed to put them on. They get slightly easier the more you do it, but they always require a bit more force than I'd like.
Look, this is a very high-end, high-spec piece. While I have heard of a few fumbles in SoC's past, this seems like a release where they did their homework. It probably helps that it's not trying to do anything too crazy, apart from the leg inversion? Treat it like what it's worth and you will see no trouble; time, patience, and a gentle hand.
Overall, it's great, but expensive. You're definitely getting your money's worth, but the question is if you want to spend that money in the first place. But now I'm kinda sad that this is a solo piece; unlike a lot of Super Robots, Tryon 3 is standalone and doesn't have combo buddies. Except... SD Tryon 3 does have Luna Tryon.

Ok I saw your earlier questions about TFA and Security Breach crossover and I got inspired.
A TFA x Security Breach crossover where due to either Sari's Key or Allspark fragments , the animations become transformers in the vain of either the Dinobots or Wreckgar, and Constructicons. I'm debating if the Glamrock animatronics and Sun/Moon alt modes would be animals or if they'd be vehicles
I feel like some irony so Sun(Lion) and Moon(Tiger) (so Eclipse could be a Liger once combined) being Beastformers while the others have object based alt modes.
Roxy- Go Cart
Chica- Mobile Shredder
Freddy- Boombox
Monty- Mobile Crusher
Bonnie- Hoverboard
DJ Music Man- Mobile Sound Stage

Devstream 171 Notes
These are somewhat scrappy as I had a work meeting so I had to watch the stream late, apologies!
Pablo appears to be wearing a Leon Kennedy (from Resident Evil I think?) shirt under duress... Pablo if you need help blink plz Next update is sort of an Echoes update for duviri but because it's a lot more than just quality of life, it won't be called Echoes. Considering the Echoes title schema is relatively new I'm kind of bemused that it's already being disregarded Rebb needs sleep! The next update: The 7 Crimes of Kullervo
major follow up to Duviri Coming in June New Warframe Kullervo! Kullervo associated with Duviri Themes of betrayal, sacrifice his daggers shoot out of his body and it looks fucking cool... and like Dio tbh Melee frame, lots of mobility Heavy blade signature weapon skin Earn him in Duviri at a lost "dungeon" island available in 3 of the islands On launch, there will be a two-week event miniquest called Kullervo's Hold that takes you right to his encounter irrespective of the current mood spiral Kullervo's prison island has lots of secrets to discover... to me it looks a lot like the Chateau d’If (the actual fortress off the coast by Marseilles, France where the prison part of the count of monte cristo was set). New character who is the prison warden; gives you the assignment to fight Kullervo as a mini-boss Some of Kullervo's boss moves are unique to the encounter; some are his actual Warframe abilities Origami-themed orizu drifter set (of course it's a Liger concept) 5 corrupted decrees, and another 10 for a total of 15 new decrees Duviri somachord fragments! and other secrets added elsewhere! 🎉 ...and a lore quiz! More like an easter egg, per Pablo Plants! which I forgot about somehow? They grow in the duviri cave, and can be harvested once a day Static undercroft portals with guaranteed arcane rewards (same ones as the circuit) Undercroft/Circuit Exterminate has a new visitor whose identity is being unspoiled. she said something about monologues so I am guessing Vor 🙊 Gauss deluxe ("tech hermes") The accompanying acceltra deluxe is so very dakka! that the screen shakes and the team is distracted QOL incoming in update 33.5: Intrinsic to preview duviri random options on starchart Full customizable key bindings for the drifter (thank FUCK) Buff to mawfishing. Interestingly Pablo tested it previously by playing one-handed (petting his cat with the other!), so he was surprised it was still too hard. we all knew Pablo is God Tier though so I'm not that surprised Wisp prime coming later in the summer Prime motes are super cute:
Fulmin prime, gunsen prime, syandana Also comes with a very sorcerery drifter suit
Warframe 10-year anniversary concept art book planned for tennocon 👀

Number.01: Decision -KESSEN-
1

Autumn 2016: Mamoru and Hana visit Ushiyama Tsuguo, his wife Ayame, and their newborn, at their G-Island City home, originally meant for Space Development Corporation staff, but also preferentially offered to GGG members. The couple have been married for 2 years, and Ayame went on leave on month 8 of her pregnancy. Keita, the only one present not part of GGG, asks about the name, Hajime, derived from Kazuo, the eldest Ushiyama sibling, who Tsuguo and Sueo both still hope to save. Mitsuo, the 3rd brother, is travelling throughout the world on graduate fieldwork. Keita mentions the rumours that the Invisible Burst have effected child rearing, though, all research refutes this, Hibiki annoyed he even mentioned it.
The cicadas now chirp out of season, again commonly blamed on the Invisible Burst, Hinoki refuses to dignify Keita's comments on it. Mamoru, Sueo and Hana discuss baby Hajime, the three all turned 20 and joined GGG this year, this gathering was their first real time drinking. While his friend debate who Hajime more resembles, Mamoru contemplates if he'll ever be a father. It's been 10 years since their wedding, and while they've never discussed it, he believes they both consider it real, although since becoming adults they have not take the steps to legally marry, and doubts about pursuing his own happiness during this time of crisis are gone after seeing the couple. He still wonders about the most important question. Can an alien from the Green Planet even have a child with a human woman? His biology has already been studied, he could find out, but isn't sure if he wants to. He now craves the chance to see Gai, as he often does, but specifically for advice on this matter, remembering Gai had similar questions as an Evoluder. Hana snaps him out of his reverie, and he remembers how she has always been hisnanchor. Tsuguo had earlier told Keita he should make things official too, he and Hinoki have been dating for 10 years after all, Keita saying he hoped to next promotion he got. Keita didn't attempt to enter GGG, instead working for a home electronics store. Hinoki's thigh watch reminds her to make an update. Public data terminals, like phone booths, are a common sight now, as the Invisible Burst certainly disrupted EM fields and thus wireless communication, terminals allow the maintenance of the networks from before the Burst. Hinoki connects her GGG phone to get the latest updates, and is immediately contacted by her GGG Research colleague, Tamara Gogol, a Ukrainian Russian, who informs her they're enroute to her, and the other GGG members with her, without explanations. In the sky appears Division X: Mobile Execution Fortress Wadatsumi to collect them.
2
The Invisible Burst of 2010 turned the world upside down, the Gutsy Galaxy Guard, with their Super AI Brave robots and the Carpenters were instrumental in disaster relief and repair. By the end of the year, Rose Approval stepped down as secretary-general after 2 terms and 10 years, GGG was reorganised into the UN Defence Brave Corps, the Gutsy Global Guard, and GGG Marine Refuge Base director Akamatsu Shigeru was appointed as chief. The decision was controversial but both outgoing director Yaginuma, former acting director Yang and chief scientist Takanohasi endorsed him. Akamatsu developed tech that would work in EM fields, and this settled worries.
Hana, Sueo and Hinoki, having changed into uniform, rushed to Wadatsumi's Branch Order Room. Hinoki relieved Tamara as Research Operator, and noted Saginomiya Pauvre Kamuy was acting as Intelligence Operator, chief Operator Yamajii complaining of back pain, although Hinoki wonders why Kamuy, 34 and a veteran of the Primeval War, isn't already in charge. Hana is the current main Mobile Corps Operator while Ayame is on maternity leave, and Sueo takes the position of Maintenance Operator, as while Tsuguo isn't on parental leave, he was drunk when called. Akamatsu Shigeru, son of Liger, nephew of Leo, cousin of Gai, is in command as Chief, his disposition fits the Shishioh name he has discarded. He is supported by Supervisor Yang, and Advisor Urchin Prickle. Due to the communication breakdown, the Main Order Room now has to transfer to the Division Ship to maintain operational oversight. Bionet are targeting Pontianak, home to G-Circulation Base, cornerstone of the Global Wall project. With the operators briefed, Wadatsumi heads off to meet Yamatsumi on site. Where the Gutsy Geoid Guard had a gold emblem, and Gutsy Galaxy Guard a green one, the Gutsy Global Guard has a blue emblem.

3
Mobile Unit Captain Amami Mamoru enters the Diving Chamber and takes in his briefing, while Vice-captain Kaidou Ikumi scolds him for being late. On seeing Bionet is disrupting the Global Wall project, a key stepping stone to being able to relaunch Project Z, Mamoru is annoyed, but Kaiju is quietly furious, at some point both began calling the other by their first name, by the names their human parents chose for them. Mamoru is jealous of Ikumi's height and sharp features.
Big Porc-Auto attempts to use Daikaiten Ma'rin blocking the progress of most of Bionets Imitation Zonders. One further is blocked by Shoryu, who still fails to call Porc-Auto by the name of his current form, only for the young Brave to be downed, the distraction allowing the others to progress. The two are saved by the silver Brave's cape like Protect Protector, which reflects attacks on the Zonders, this is followed by the gold Brave's own cape like Broken Breaker, both capes are made of 6 parts. Big Porc-Auto thanks Getsuryu and Nichiryu, while Shoryu apologises to his older/younger sisters. Due to the Imitation Zonders still having Cores, they can't properly destroy them. The German sisters continue to attack, but are shocked when Bionet for the first time demonstrates their Imitation Zonders can combine. The Zonder Robo prepares a cannon to hit G-Circulation Base, despite the fact they cannot hope to survive, ShoRyu and Big Porc-Auto ready Mirror Coating to stand in it's way. The Global Wall works by 5 equatorial G-Circulation Bases channelling G-Liquid to 6 satellites, with Orbit Base's Protect Shade in the centre, the resultant Protect Wall would stop further EM disruption. At the last second, a Synapse Attack destroys the cannon, and Kakuseijin GaiGo lands. G-Circulation Base is unscathed, and the Captains take over, summoning the GaoMachines. Akamatsu approves Final Fusion, and Hana uses a dual handed Program Drive to initiate. GaoGaiGo forms, just as the Zonder Robo regenerates. Akamatsu gave his own King of Braves a name in kanji, like Kakuseijin before it, GaoGaiGou, though only he knows the difference. Mamoru takes Left Control, and they note they have Seven Cores to recover, Yang believes they can use the same principle as with EI-08 to deal with this. Hinoki receives data from Womb Head on her Leoglass 7+, and determines where to hit to expose all the Cores. Urchin Prickle, who served with Hyuma in the US Army, orders Hana to Emission the Dividing Driver and Kit Number 09, and the two DD Kits are Mirror Catapulted to the battle, combining into the Dividing Driver and equipping to GaoGaiGo, it opens the Zonder and exposes all the Cores. Ikumi readies the Phantom Ring, using Broken Phantom extracts all 7 cores. Mamoru handles Purification, even now Kaidou has never purified a Zonder, seeming to blame them for their situation. The Cores revert, though there is one person acting strangely different.
4

In a certain Kanagawa based electronic store, Keita is trying to sell the Hypersonic-Ion Bio-Programming Dryer, and is greeted by a customer, in actuality Ritchan. She left GGG to care for her aged parents, and now runs Akamatsu Industries parents. Keita hands over a Chika-chan doll she was looking for for a relative, Bottom The World never truly recovered from the rumours and closed after only a few years. Ritchan informs him of rumours that the UN will launch 'that' project soon, he starts calculating on his Neckwatch, hoping to be ready with products that will be usable when the EM field is wiped out. Ritchan wonders if he really is saving for marriage.
5
3 days after Pontianak, Division XI: Intelligence Mirror Raid Warship Yamatsumi heads to Iñola, where apparently Doctor Thanatos has made his HQ. Bionet had seemed to be demolished after the Futsunushi Incident, as a special task force (ID5? Is this Drama CD4) raised their base, and Professor Mothma was killed. Mothma's aid, Doctor Thanatos, took over. Thanatos had been untraceable, until a Bionet commander turned out to be among the Zonder hosts. Those purified from Zonderisation were released from negative impulses after purification, and thus this Bionet member is now cooperating. Urchin notes to Akamatsu the possibility this is a trap, but they have to act on the info anyway, and fast, in hope of rescuing captives and dismantling Bionet. Akamatsu grouses about the Conqueror King, the name given to the aura that had remained visible on Jupiter the last 6 years, blacked for the Invisible Burst. The name has spread across the world, first being spoken by Akamatsu's daughter, Sakura, who learnt it via Limpid Channel, probably from the Somnium Lamia, Mamoru also heard the term from Betterman. He is unsettled the form resembling Genesic GaoGaiGar is called by that moniker, but he has only discussed Lamia's words right Ikumi and Hana. Yang knows that once the Global.Wall is erected, Project Z will be relaunched, a project he has been preparing to continue these 6 years. As Hinoki and Hana report they are approaching, GaiGo and Shoryu are prepared for launch.
6

The Ul-tech engines are cut, and neuromechanoid and glianoid descend upon the island in the republic of Velocenia, where Bionet had once before been based. Porc-Auto has already scouted the area, the sisters are on rescue work in Africa. He has already determined the captives are where the Bionet commander claimed they would be.
Ikumi launches a Synapse Attack on the internment center roof. Finding 20 captives, the two Captives enter purification mode to fight the Bionet Beastmen guarding them. They take them down, and Shoryu brings down a container to evacuate them, Mamoru spots a girl bound and gagged, se yells a warning about the last, camouflaged Beastman, Ikumi defeats it. The girl, taller than Mamoru, dressed in blue offends Mamoru by calling him a kid when she is 15, she also seems very taken with Ikumi. Her name is Alouette, kidnapped from France, and sees getting to meet Ikumi as the silver lining to this experience. Mamoru and Ikumi were both away from earth at the time, 10 years ago, that Alouette was collaborating with GGG, and so do not know her. Porc-Auto analyses the situation with GunHawk and GunShepherd, but even caught by surprise Bionet should have had a bigger response, he concludes something must have happened, but before he can wonder what, senses something he cannot identify, which then vanishes.
7
Shoryu evacuated the hostages, but both Mamoru and Ikumi, and Akamatsu and Yang, cannot understand Bionet's actions. The general claimed their goal was not the G-Stone, but simply destruction of G-Circulation Base. Something suddenly appears and tears off GaiGo's left arm, and Mamoru is shocked to see the enemy looks just like the Conqueror King, but Ikumi points out this is an imitation Zonder, not actually Genesic GaoGaiGar, the shape caused by the host being stressed by the aurora. Akamatsu has already launched the Gap Machines, and GaoGaiGo is born. The battle resembles GaoGaiGar's with EI-15, and GaoFighGar's with Repli-GaoGaiGar.
The two captains are united in purpose, and initiate Hell and Heaven, the right hand channelled the J-Jewel, and the Left the G-Stone, and the Zonder Core is pulled from the Robo.

8
Mamoru purifies the core, but something is wrong. The host is giggling madly, nevermind the fact it is Doctor Thanatos himself. He calls out Mamoru as the 26th test subject, and brings out claws to attack, but is stopped by Pextofolex Flavum, from the suddenly appearing Betterman Lamia, who stunned Thanatos, and instead of answering Ikumi asking what he's doing, he simply grabs the madman and leaves, saying he needs him for the coming battle. Porc-Auto, GunHawk, GunShepher and Yamatsumi are closing, but Lamia takes a fruit and eat taking the form of Nebula, and flies straight for the image of the Conquering King, signalling to Mamoru who his opponent will be. And somehow he feels excited.
9
While Bionet faces and end no-one could have expected, at the UN, the Secretary-General, Heart Clover, receives a report that the Global Wall project will commence in 120 hours. Keita's workplace will soon reap a decent profit thanks to foreknowledge that the EM radiation will soon be no concern. Clover assured his secretary, Ms. Cherry, that Project Z will finally restart. And for the woman whose real name is Isogai Sakura, that is excellent news.

having a blast with armored core 6, but after playing through chapter 4 i’m having some thoughts on some of the gameplay elements (specifically in ch.4)
if you’re turning away to avoid spoilers the gist of it is that i’m really looking forward to ng+ and ng++! i think that i’m maybe just missing a couple puzzle pieces for my preferred melee playstyle and chapter 4 has some very mobile enemies
(spoilers ahead)
i’ll preface this by saying that this might just be a skill issue on my end, but i also don’t have enough time in a day to bash my head against a wall trying to make my silly little lightweight melee build work against every major enemy
my specific hangups are with the enforcer and with ibis, although michigan is not off the hook
all three of those fights i tried with my ‘normal’ builds that appeal to my two mech fantasies (lightweight melee rushdown and then walking tetrapod armory) and was just completely overwhelmed
then, after getting fed up with the enforcer, i looked online.
‘i took the stun needle’, someone said, and i thought ‘huh. i thought that was just a story weapon for the ice worm in particular and nothing else. might as well give it a shot.”
i equipped the stun needles on my shoulder slots. i swapped out my pile bunker for a laser lance because it’s better at closing the distance. i replaced my trusty napalm grenades with that one energy shotgun that kind of looks like a katar (i refuse to use the zimmermans on principle). and i instantly lost half of the grey matter in my brain
the stun needles really are a “i want this enemy out of my sight NOW” type weapon. it sends any staggered enemy to the principal’s office and has them expelled. who thought it would be a good idea to give these things so much direct hit damage
and that coupled with the frustrating bosses in chapter 4 kind of cheapened my experience, i think. i would get frustrated by a boss, and eventually i’d go “alright. i have half an hour left before i need to get off and get other stuff done. let’s just… be done with this. i’m tired.” and bust out the win button
in an ideal world i would have found some middle ground between “this boss is wiping the floor with me” and “damn. didn’t even get to see all of their moves that run”, which is where i think the options in ng+ will come in handy. something stronger to bring me to the point of ‘still a challenge but it feels like i can make progress’
i do wish that the enemies were a little less mobile, or at the very least moved more predictably. that, and making hard lock-on better. my god was losing lock-on on ibis annoying
to end on a positive note: i am still having a lot of fun, and really do look forward to future playthroughs where i’m a bit more familiar with the game! once i get more parts every enemy will know the wrath of my pile bunker
also arquebus couldn’t you have sent like a couple more guys to help me take out michigan? like if you really wanted him gone you coulda spared a couple bucks to send my boy rusty in there with me (and what if we kissed in front of the wreck of liger tail and we were both mech pilots, haha jkjk… unless?)

Lore Snippet: Bran Lommel
Master Post - Table of Contents
Who is Bran Lommel? He is a succubus scientist who works for the Magic Anomaly Investigation Group (M.A.I.G.). He succeeded his father, Axel Lommel, after he retired. Currently Bran researches whatever he wants when not under orders from Dr. Reynard.
Bran is a rare, male succubus. Succubi are typically female and males do not occur naturally. The exception to this is when a Succubus has a child with a human or other compatible species that is not a demon. Bran's mother, Tora, is a clumsy yet incredibly smart succubus who fell madly in love with Axel.
Bran is one of the more unorthodox members of M.A.I.G. His projects are eccentric, but his research is valued. Normally he would not have been hired as scientist, but Tora and Axel advocated for him.
Bran has been told on multiple occasions that his succubus lingerie is NOT acceptable attire on M.A.I.G. premises. He is expected to put on some form of standard clothing when on duty and/or in the presence of members of M.A.I.G. or out in public. Typically he wears a cotton/polyester bodysuit and a lab coat when told to put some clothes on.
In regards to his sexuality (since he is a succubus), he is bi-sexual. This comes with that caveat that he is more interested in women, however. He has been known to flirt with the adult female members of M.A.I.G. and The Liger Brigade, but never in a way that is overbearing or unwanted.
When not on duty or researching, he can be seen working on his computer. Typically he likes to make AMVs, Phonk music tracks, Phonk remixes, and music visualizers. Recently he has been experimenting with music tracks mixing both Phonk and Heavy Metal.
Bran is capable of fighting, but prefers to avoid conflict. The weapons he summons are a pair of giant cleavers. He has gone on record stating that using his blades feels gross and gives him a bloodlust he detests. To avoid this, he has been issued two Soul magic handguns from the Liger Brigade to defend himself with.
And on an ending note, Bran is friends with Will and Samantha/Morrigan. He has been internet buddies with them for the longest time. This may have helped contribute to Will being noticed by M.A.I.G., amongst other reasons. Once Trumna and Reynard were fully aware of who Will was, they asked Bran to get closer to him. This would result in him becoming real life friends with Will and Sam. The two did not realize that Bran was secretly collecting intelligence on them...
The Dimensional Scramble incident
What started out as a normal day at M.A.I.G. headquarters spiraled out of control due to the actions of a succubus and a Dullahan. Bran Lommel, a scientist for the Magic Anomaly Investigation Group, was working on a dimensional telescope and showing ULTRAMagic Shadow (William) what it could do. Bran was in the middle of rendering an AMV when his laptop began having issues due to interference from his experiments. Hopping over to fix that real quickly, Will took a second to look at the internals of the telescope... and then the Telemetry of the device went haywire.
Will is 0 dimensional despite appearing 3 dimensional. This may have caused the telescope to lose its mind and generate a dimensional glitch of sorts. All Bran knows is that there was a flash of light, a feeling of nausea, and a dimensional aberration in Will's place. Things escalated as Will wandered off, forcing Bran to trigger the alarms. The entire headquarters was in code red lockdown for the entire day, trying to track down Will and prevent him from accidentally doing damage to the local reality.
Will seemed to be incredibly confused as he would run from anyone trying to help him. Reports even came in from Erika Storm to Dr. Reynard that Will showed up on Sky Fortress Camelot (the mobile headquarters for The Liger Brigade). Bran got the idea to lure Will into a "stabilization suit." He custom made it to Will's... interests. The idea was that it would put out waves that would draw him to it and hold him in place dimensionally. Of course they had to find Will first, which was done when Bran heard boss music... specifically a track from a video game that did not exist.
Moving to the spot where the distorted power metal was playing the loudest, Bran plopped the suit down and waited with fingers crossed. Thankfully it worked and Will was back to his normal self. He was upset with Bran and Dr. Reynard, but he eventually calmed down. Will would be kept at M.A.I.G. for a week for observation... away from Bran's experiments. He would turn back into the aberration briefly here and there, but this stopped by the end of the week. This incident led to a lot of discoveries, but now M.A.I.G. and The Liger Brigade are concerned about the future of Will.

KoFM Liger Zero and Liger Zero Schneider (Chibi and Pointy)
Finished painting Chibi, my first KoFM Zero I’ve had for a very long time! Its so nice to see him white and shiny again, especially with how badly yellowed the plastic was, sitting in the sun under my window for years.
And, I finally received the Schneider set for my newly acquired second KoFM Zero! I think I’ll call her Pointy. Shes so cute I can barely handle it! I’ve always wanted other armor sets, but they were always so hideously expensive, and when Chibi fell and broke I stopped looking. However, I found a decently priced one on Mandarake after I got Pointy, and since she was missing the top mane I went ahead and bought it. Very happy I was able to get a Schneider set as its my favorite CAS. Can’t wait to take more pictures of them together!

A series of obnoxiousness~
After the Berserk Führer glitched up onto the rock he’d occasionally shoot at Liger while he ran circles below him, jealous of his superior mountain climbing skills.
(Off Screen, a Blade Liger kept trying to kill me because, you know, enemy team, but I kept looping around to play with their Berserk Führer.)
Exhibit A: Liger roars furiously, as a lowly ground dweller.
Exhibit B: Berserk Führer ferociously retaliates with a Triple Charged Particle Cannon to the face, just as the battle ends.
