so. i have a fic, and it's not shippy, but... well. you will love it! it's just... not what you asked for

the Lifeline AU! It's based off a series of video games where the main character is in trouble and you, for whatever reason, are the only one that can help them. It's mostly sci-fi and fantasy, and it's AMAZING. I will never forget the Walmart chapter from Lost Boys... lost boys ily... anyways! It also takes inspiration from:

...and a bunch of other stuff, but I'm lazy.

Main characters are:

Impulse (he takes the role of the lifeline/player character from the original games)

Tango (takes the place of Taylor from the first few games)

Pearl (takes the place of Arika from the second part of the games, Bloodlines/Lifeline 2)

Keralis & Bdubs - Tango's crewmates

Skizz - Impulse's roomate. He isn't based off of anyone from the original games

Zedaph - Impulse's coworker and Tango's friend. He isn't based off of anyone from the original games

I lied about Skizz not being based off of anyone from the original games- while he's *technically* his own character, a lot of his plot is based off of Delilah from Flatline. Some of Impulse's storyline is based off of Wynn. Lifeline fans, do with that information what you will.

Lifeline fic

OKAY SO.

I know the new Lifeline game JUST came out. Sadly, I haven't played it yet. But I thought I'd ask while the fandom is hopefully reawakening, I wrote a short WIP Lifeline fic about Taylor coming coming back to earth after the events of Halfway to Infinity.

Is it perfect? Nope. I didn't research anything about astronauts coming back to earth because I was writing it for fun, not posting. But it does have some of that beloved back and forth banter Taylor has with the player.

So if anyone's interesting in me posting, please let me know!
