So when one is younger or has not lost friends yet, romantic relationships are the most important and aspirational thing. But whenever you've lost those ex partners or in some case when you lose those ex crushes (certainly not the case with me!) You still have friends to vent and bitch about them. But when you lose friends, you don't really have anyone to talk to... Not parents, because you don't want to be a concern. Not siblings because you certainly don't want to seem a loser. Not other friends, because what if they found the reason to leave you as well? (No one? Just me and my Paranoia? Okay) And certainly not to strangers because you don't want to seem of petty substance or substance of pity... When younger, someone was best friend because they walked home from school with me or because we sat next to each other in class or because you hated the same teacher! Back then, I took having and making friends for granted. But now I know better than that.
