So when one is younger or has not lost friends yet, romantic relationships are the most important and aspirational thing. But whenever you've lost those ex partners or in some case when you lose those ex crushes (certainly not the case with me!) You still have friends to vent and bitch about them. But when you lose friends, you don't really have anyone to talk to... Not parents, because you don't want to be a concern. Not siblings because you certainly don't want to seem a loser. Those are the questions that my heart has been screaming for several days. I have been dwelling this question in my heart for quite some time now actually. As a woman who has no experience in romance, sometimes things like these would just randomly pop up in my head. I have sought the Lord and found my answer but as the times went by, as I meet new people (some of them I consider as potential mate —only in my head) the struggle becomes more demanding.

Lord? Was I that sanctified and set apart? Is this normal?

I wasn’t complaining. Yet sometimes I find myself cannot resist and exhaust my strength to ponder upon these negatives thoughts and cannot stop my heart from asking the question, “Lord, why?”

I know in my heart that God is still good and his plans are for my welfare and not for evil. It’s just that sometimes with my limited strength and devotion to God, I am overwhelmed with a lot of WHYs and HOWs of life. I hope soon I can walk through and completely make sense what God has been speaking to me. As for now, I am fully trusting Jesus that he holds my hand in every step of the way knowing that one by one we will both unfold the beauty of my HOWs and Whys ——even WHAT IFs. Fully knowing (by faith) that He makes EVERYTHING beautiful in His time, it may not be the circumstance but someone who constantly been through with my journey called life. ✨
