my mind is a jumbled mess right now cause I have far too many thoughts and aus bouncing around in my brainspace like the dvd symbol on a tv screen. at this point, I can't get any progress done on any of my aus so I'm gonna make a post here to sort out the aus and my thoughts.

AUs that NEED to be worked on 1. the Creed of Gods and Men [empires s1] - - Xornoth adopts child!Shubble au 2. Crowns of Orchids and Fields of Poppies [empires s1] - - Jimnoth au, Jimmy x Xornoth au [slow burn enemies to lovers] 3. Dragon Mom Grian au (hermitcraft s8) - - Grian gets possessive/motherly over the Tegg (dragon egg)

AUs that I'm actively thinking about 1. Among Us Empires au (empires s1 x among us) - - Empires season 1 are crewmates on the Skeld, Jimmy and Lizzie are Imposters 2. the Harbinger [double life] - - Team Rancher takes Revenge for their son's (the Warden) death 3. Evo Server Prison au [evo smp] - - the Evo players are trapped in their server, more players are added, life series stuff also happens

AUs that I'm semi-thinking about 1. Watcher!Grian meets Hermitcraft au [hermitcraft 5 or 6] - - Grian is a Watcher who's caretakers sent him to Hermitcraft to escape danger, he spies on the Hermits from a distance 2. prisoner Jimmy au [empires s1 / pre-empires] - - young Jimmy is a prisoner of Mythland who's given to the Elfking of Rivendell as a "gift", includes child Scott and Conner (Xornoth) 3. Mythland x Codlands Arranged Marriage au [empires s1] - - Jimmy reluctantly marriages Sausage in order to stop the war with Mythland [slow burn enemies to husbands to friends to lovers, non-con / dub-con elements]

I think I need a little input here on what to work on cause honestly, I'm at a standstill with all these thoughts and aus. I know the Jimnoth au is (or was?) a semi-popular one here, and I wanna work on that, but I need something else to work on too otherwise I'll get burned out.

LAST LIFE APOCALYPSE AU DESIGNS

For an au that’s existed for ~2 years, here are the official designs of 16/18 of the main cast!

[note: Scar and Joel will have their separate post. They are m.i.a for a reason]

Focus this time was less in my usual figurative and more realistic when it came to the clothing (as if live action) — carefully considering what practical things and uses each person would have at the start of the apocalypse

At the same time using my artstyle the best I can to make otherwise mundane clothes interesting through how it is worn by each person, what silhouette and implications does it evoke.

part 2 of the modern au: Gem and the Scotts!

Going with the "Grian is the one who designed this game as opposed to the others" headcanon, it makes you think about the superpowers he gave his friends, how they were all laughing and having fun in the beginning, and that was intentional. It goes to show that even when forced to design the death game his friends are put through (a punishment for trying to usurp the Watchers time and time again), he still cares. They all know he's the one who designed this game, and he hopes they realize the little mercies he's giving them.

He gives Cleo the power to bring people back from the dead, just so he can have a chance to see his best friend again.

He gives Pearl the power to fly, and hopes she appreciates having her wings back, if only for a short time.

Jimmy gets to go invisible because Grian knows the Watchers aren't happy with the curse being broken. He wants to protect him.

As for Martyn? Grian doesn't really know a lot about what's going on with him and the Listeners, but he might as well try to strengthen that connection in the little ways he can without arising suspicion.

He says it himself in the beginning, "let's not forget this is a PVP series," but it sounds hollow even to his own ears. It's pandering to the watching eyes, making them think the lighthearted fun is all unintentional.

He falls out of the sky with the wings he gave to Pearl, and he wonders if the Watchers are starting to catch on.
