it's weird to draw characters you've only really sketched or just seen in your head

not really satisfied with the face, considering adding freckles/antlers/more deer-like features cuz rn it's not really obvious

some stuff about her:

her name is Laure, she's a florist and has her own flower shop

she's very sociable and an extrovert

she has deer ears and legs, as well as hooves (the shoes are here just because they're part of the outfit)

she plays the flute as a hobby

she lives a normal, boring life and doesn't really want that to change

Dragonfly Color Sans ref sheet

finally something i can post about my comic yayyy!!!

Color's not the main character (more like the 3rd main character) but he's the one with the clearest design in my head, so easiest to draw

1st image:

rainbow color palette: (will probably change)

zoom single wing: (50% normal <- 50% white) + 66% screen wings partially transparent (just fiddle with layer types until it looks right)

lower wing: (10% normal + 66% screen) 80%

2nd image:

can summon rainbow fire

1st aid kid in satchel bandages, scissors, painkillers… in case his wounds act up

eye & flame color tends to reflect the human soul most influencing him at any given time

kindness & patience makes his eye look like nightmare's

tried to add a background for this one i love the colors unknownspy really has an eye for that kind of thing

this is unknow (or unknown), he hates people but really wants friends but also doesn't thinks he deserves them

his body is a swarm of bugs

they're touch-starved (and just starved for connection in general) but doesn't really notice it until Thaumas & Lea come along

they bark a lot but don't bite

because they don't exactly have a regular body, things like holding objects or wearing clothes are really difficult for him and require a lot of effort

he probably practiced wearing this outfit for hours before getting it right, they would say it wasn't that hard if asked but would absolutely die of joy if someone complimented it

before I get into a deep dive on my opinions I just want to say everybody in this photo absolutely went hard on these outfits. Deer, you keep doing phenomenal work doing something. The girls dresses really show off more of an originally personality and Phaser?? Ahhh that dress is making me envious but Tremolo's suit is what I really wanna take. And he got a hat??? All of you take me shopping

Now this is absolutely hilarious! I feel like I should have made a separate post about the mommy's thing but I just really wanted to post Bruyea and some opinions I have on him. Phaser somehow being taken down by Bruyea is so hilarious cause he's pretty huge and I feel he could fend off against a panther. As for the girls, the two face of horror and Angie is just like "omg cute cat" like she wants it but Tremolo ain't having it today. Those are his magical mermaids, where did this cat creature come from XD
