I am thinking about post-canon Lan Xichen at any given moment. Even if I seem to be doing something else, I am actually thinking about post-canon Lan Xichen.

I feel like there's two options; either he wastes away/offs himself before the year is over or he becomes immortal, nothing in between.

Do you think Klavier is actually German? His German seems to be pretty bad and other than my German grandma at the ripe old age of 92 I don't think anyone even uses a stand-alone "Ach" anymore 🤔

I thought perhaps he's just whatever the German version of a weeaboo is, but even then I think his German is kinda weird.... Or does he do that on purpose?

Does he have like a small lexicon of "commonly used German words" except it's one of those lexicons with like "youth language explained" that are always completely wrong and useless?

well in the games he's fake german but in my heart he's german for realsies and just acts Like That because his manager told him to. achtung is a catchphrase. it's all an act. ach is versatile now. he can't stop because he's done this for seven years. it's a becoming, as lady gaga says. this is just how he is now.

Headcanon: Languages

Despite what it seems, Logan knows a few languages fluently. As a child, he had private tutors and thus, was adept in Polish, Ukrainian, and Inuktitut. He doesn't remember those. However, the languages he does use often are: Japanese, French/French-Canadian, and conversational German.

His German is pretty rusty. Logan understands it more than he speaks it now. Usually, only converses in German with Kurt since he gets very happy when he does.

You're starting to think that your brother is never going to get over this, is always going to be holding onto a certain amount of grief and anger and lonesome distance.

But then one day, he brings another guy home! And, yes, this guy is not perfect either. He's also a heretic cultivator and a notorious lunatic, who is in a bad position with your own situationship. But! Maybe Wangji is finally starting to move on? Even if his bad taste persists, this one is at least more manageable. How fortuitous that your stubborn, obsessive brother should finally find a new yeah no that's Wei Wuxian, isn't it?
