My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Chapter 69: Negotiations and Blame
Liam, Lori and Sam rush down the tunnel turning a corner only to come up to a fork in their path.
“Which way?”, Liam asks Lori. “There’s gotta be something. Did he leave anything for you to find, l-like a signal, or more rocks?”
“I don’t see anything… I don’t hear anything.”, Lori worries. Liam gives her a small reassuring smile. “We’ll find something. He’s gonna be okay.”
“How do you know?”, Lori asks him with glossy eyes.
Liam looks for an answer. “'Cause–‘cause he’s strong. He’s really strong. He’s knocked me down on the lacrosse field more than once. Now, when I see him coming, I do everything I can to get the hell out of the way.”
Sam smiled at him before closing her eyes to feel for bodies. Once she feels a heavy presence, she turns to the path that's closest.
“Brett actually started playing lacrosse for me.”, Lori tells Liam as they follow Sam. Liam looks at her with a confused expression. “For you?”
She nods, “I didn’t have any friends at my old school. Devenford Prep needed lacrosse players, and Brett practiced all summer. And he got a scholarship and told them that they had to take me if they wanted him.”
Liam places his hand on her arm. “Hey, we’re gonna find him.” He looks at Sam who looks back at him. "Found something.", she says and leads them down the path.
As they walk further, Liam's face scrunches. “Do you smell that? It’s… it’s sour.” Lori nods. “It smells like something’s rotting.”
“I think it’s poison.”, Liam says, making Lori smile. “That’s how we’ll find him.”
They take off further down the tunnel, crossing more and more paths. “They all look the same. Are you sure we’re going the right way?”, Lori asks Sam. "I'm feeling someone's body. They're alive, but…", Sam says.
“This is her power. We're gonna need it as much as we can.”, Liam reassures. Lori sniffles. “I hate this scent.”
Liam stops the girls, coming to a freeze. “Wait. I hear something. It sounds like…”
“…a heartbeat,” Lori and Sam says and they follow the sound as it gets louder and louder.
As they come up to a wide area of the tunnels, they see a body leaning up against the wall near some containers. “Brett!”, Lori exclaims, speeding up to the body.
Brett turns to her with a grimace of a smile. “You found the rocks.”
“Yeah, I found the rocks.”, she tells him as tears of relief prick at her eyes. The other two come up to the siblings and Brett looks up to them. "It's you guys…"
Sam nods at him and Liam kneels near them. “Hey, we’re going to get you out of here.”
Brett tries to give Liam a smile but the blood exiting his body makes him seem like he's wincing instead.
As Lori and Liam grab his arm to pull him up, Brett looks at him. “You’re a dumbass for doing this.”
Liam smirks. “Oh, is that your way of thanking me?”
Brett lets go of his hand and scoffs. “No, that’s my way of calling you a dumbass, but… thanks.”
Before Liam could respond, he pauses at the sound of Sam's growl. He turns to her to see her back facing him.
Her heart raced. She knows the sound of a rumbling engine. Someone was here.
Liam makes a noise and steps forward, his face softening “Sam?”
Sam looks to the side as she feels footsteps. “Get Brett out of here.”, she says.
“What? Why–”, Liam gets cut off as Sam lifts up a shadow barrier, blocking a canister from being thrown towards them, but the smoke from the can quickly fills the area. "Go!", Sam yells. Before they could move, all four werewolves covered their ears as the familiar sound of Argent’s emitters started going off.
“They’re coming.”, Lori bellows. Liam looks at Sam. “Go with them, I’ll hold them off.”
Sam looks at him with wide eyes. "Are you insane!?" Liam doesn't respond but shoves Sam toward Brett and Lori. “Just go!"
"Liam!", Sam yells but Lori grabs at her. "Let's go!", she yells before grabbing her brother's arm. Sam takes the other and drags him down the tunnel.
Making it easier for the girls, Sam helps Brett float with blobs of her shadow and moves the two faster to a ladder ahead.
Lori reassures her brother. “Hey, we’re almost out of here.”
Lori and Sam help Brett up the ladder to move the manhole cover. He peeks around before exiting the manhole and Lori follows upward. Sam turns as she hears footsteps, ready to fight but relaxes as she sees Liam.
"You're okay.", Sam says but Liam shakes his head. “It's a trap. No one's down here–”
The sound of car tires rumbling above the tunnels could be heard above, making their eyes widen as they look to see Lori finally escaping the manhole. “Shit…!”
Liam starts climbing up the ladder. “Lori, come back!”, Sam yells, following him.
“Lori, wait!!”, Liam climbs up faster but before he could reach the opening, a screeching sound stops them as they hear two thuds.
Liam's nose flares in anger as he climbs faster. "Liam, wait–!", Sam calls but the boy launches out of the manhole with a loud growl.
Liam roars, his pain and anger reverberating into the night air. Sam climbs up and peeks to see a crowd of people gathering.
She looks at him with wide eyes. “Liam, shift back now!", she exclaims. "No!", he roars. Sam feels her phone vibrate in her pocket and she takes it out to see a text from Lydia.
Lydia - Nolan attacked Corey in the library, stabbed him in the back of his hand! in front of people that SAW HIM HEAL RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR EYES
What the hell was happening….?
Before she could put her phone away, she felt someone grab her foot and jolted. She looked down to see Scott looking at her with wide eyes.
"Where's Liam?", Scott asks. Sam frowns and looks up. "They're all on the street.", she says and his eyes widened.
“We have to get out there!”, Malia asked.
Sam shook her head, much to the other two's surprise. “It was a setup, Scott. I can't tell if they're actual people or hunters but Liam's up there pissed...shifted…”, she said, trailing off.
“What else happened?”, Malia asked. Sam gives the two her phone, waiting as they read the text and their eyes get even bigger.
Scott's eyebrows furrowed. “Why would Nolan want to hurt Corey?”
“I don't think he was trying to hurt him. I think he was trying to expose him.", Sam said looking at him. "The hunter used the fog and the emitters to probably corner us or to get us to go up this ladder to be exposed too.”
“But why, what’s the purpose of it all?”, Scott asks. Sam frowns at him. "They're toying with us. They're making people afraid of us and giving reasons for us to be killed."
Scott's shoulders sag in realization.
However the next day, they decided to go back to the tunnels.
Sam looks at Scott. “Liam doing okay?”
Scott nods, giving a small smile. “He’s going to go to school.”
She tilts her head as if she didn't hear him. “Excuse me, what?”
The girls look at him to continue and he does. “Yeah, I told him he needed to be like Clark Kent and pretend like nothing happened.”
“I'm sorry, did you forget that he wolfed out in front of a shit load of people and roared at them? That's enough to let anyone know he wasn't human. Not only that, the shitshow with Corey just adds onto our problem pile. If they saw what happened to Corey, what makes you think news about Liam won't come out?”, Sam asks.
“They won’t do anything to him because no one has proof," Scott shrugs. "I mean, it was nighttime and who’s to say that anyone saw anything?”
He walks over to the tunnel with Malia following behind her. Sam gives Lydia a look who returns it with a knowing nod. The two ahead turn around to see the girls unmoving.
“I don't know about you, Scott, but I'm pretty sure you're not sure.”, Sam says. The reassured look on Scott's face drops. He sighs. “Look, he's taking Brett and Lori’s death really hard…”
“So are we.”, Lydia speaks up. Scott frowns. “We are because they were great kids who didn’t deserve that, but we didn’t know them like he knew them. We’re trying to save lives, which is why he needed to go to school and pretend like nothing happened, because if he doesn’t go, more people could die.”
Sam frowns. "No one's there to protect him or Corey. Mason can only do so much. If we're not there… I don't know…", she says, worriedly. Scott frowns sadly. "Sam…"
She looks at him, nearly trembling. "I let two people die when I could've helped. If Liam had died and I had done nothing, I don't know what I would do. It's like it won't stop. Almost everyone we know has either moved on or has been murdered and I'm sick of it, Scott.”
Scott walks up to her, bringing her into a hug. “We're gonna stop them, okay? Then we'll have our lives back. We always do.”
Always…
It never lasts. Ever. Everytime they look up, they have to find something and fight. It wasn't fair.
Sam lets out a sigh anyway. “Okay.”
Scott lets go and leads them down to the Argent bunker. Once they arrived, Chris turned to them, having to wait and asked for info on the night before.
Scott drops a lacrosse stick onto the table they stood around. “They were murdered. Killed by the new hunter in Beacon Hills.”
Sam looks at Chris. “I know you said you were done hunting or that you haven't done any hunting in a while, but the hunter that killed that Hellhound…I thought it was just a coincidence. But these methods from last night were too thought out."
Chris nods, looking shameful. “Gerard.", he says, making the teens' eyes widen. "Which means this is my fault. I’m the one who let him go.”
“You couldn’t have done anything.”, Lydia said. Malia shakes her head. “He could’ve killed him.”
The other four frowns at her. Malia shrugs. “Just saying…” Though, no one could blame her. It was a validated thing to do at this point. The man needed to be stopped.
“We are not executioners.”, Lydia scolded. Malia turns to her. "You are when it comes to war.”
“That’s why we’re gonna make peace.”, Scott says and Sam frowns at him. “Peace? With Gerard? Who made you help turn him into an alpha? Who threatened your mom? Are you sure we're talking about the same person?”
Scott leans on the table. “Sam, you know as well as I do, what's coming. It all leads back to–”
“War.”, Chris concludes. Sam frowns at the man. “Okay, so what stops a war from happening? A compromise?”
Chris nods. “A peace summit.”
Scott agrees. “Right. We meet face to face with Gerard, find out what he wants, and then we stop all this before it gets any worse.”
Scott muttered. “Last time Gerard was at a peace meeting was with Deucalion… he blinded him and then killed everybody else, including his own men.”
Chris turned toward the teens. “I’ll go. I mean, he’s not going to kill me.”
Sam frowns at him. "I recall his words being, "I'll kill my own son if I have to", or something along those lines. You have too much faith in him."
Chris gives her a small smile with a shrug. She had a point. “All we need is to find out what he wants, then we can bargain.”, Scott says. Chris frowns once more. “Even if he does agree, his terms might be difficult to meet.”
Scott shrugs, looking at them. “Well, that’s why it’s a negotiation. I don’t expect to get anything without giving something up."
Chris thinks for a moment before speaking up. “Then you’re gonna have to figure out just how much you’re willing to give, and how far you’re willing to go to stop a war.”
After Chris went to meet with Gerard, Liam informed Scott about his time in the guidance counselor’s office. He mentioned seeing scratches on Tamora Monroe’s neck and saw books about the supernatural on her filing cabinet.
When he asked how she got the scratches, she said from a branch in the woods when she was running. He pressed her with questions, only to come up with one conclusion. She had to be the new hunter.
Sam frowned when Scott had told her what happened. "What?", he asked. She shook her head. "I dunno. That name just sounds familiar. My mom talked about this girl she named "Tammy" because apparently she's been a regular lately."
Scott frowned at this new information. The only thing they could do was inform Chris of the information. As they walk up to the McCall house, they pause at the voices of Chris and Melissa discussing.
“As far as I can tell… genocide.”, they heard Chris say.
Scott and Sam look at each other with wide eyes. Melissa scoffs. “He just wants to kill them? All of them?”
Chris sighs. “If you’re looking for rationality, I think he left that behind a long time ago. In his eyes, Scott has killed half his family, turned his daughter into a monster, and turned me, his only son, against him.”
Sam nods at Scott, agreeing with Chris. “So, I’m supposed to just tell them to give up?”, Melissa asked.
“I’m not asking them to give up. I just want them to survive.”, Chris presses.
Melissa forces out, “I’ve never told those kids to run and hide, and I’m not going to start now.”
Chris counters back. “Melissa, Sam was barely able to control her powers last year and almost lost her life because she was overworking herself. I can't imagine what my father would want with her. And Scott, he was dead in your arms once before, and you had to bring him back yourself. What if this is the one fight they don’t come back from?”
Before Melissa could respond, the young adults walked in. “There doesn’t have to be a fight.”, Scott says.
Chris sighs and looks at them. “Do you two know something I don’t?”
Scott lifts up his phone and shows him Liam's text. “Someone. Tamora Monroe… she’s the new Hunter.”
After discussing with Chris, Sam went home to see her mother look at her worried. Sam's eyebrows furrowed. "What's wrong?", Sam asked.
Denise took a breath before standing. "You'd tell me if something was happening, wouldn't you?", she asked her daughter. Sam looked at her confused before realization filled her.
Something happened.
"What happened?", Sam asked, walking over to her mother. "Tammy came in today and had two other people with her. They were – they looked scared? I think? Like they were looking for something specific and then got upset when they couldn't find whatever they were looking for."
Sam frowned at the news. To see her mom in distress and to know that Monroe had gone into the shop…
It pissed Sam off. Sam settled her hands on her mother's shoulders. "Everything's gonna be okay."
Denise looked up at her daughter with glossy eyes. "How do I know that? How do I know you're not getting yourself into more trouble?"
Sam didn't know how to answer. She wasn't sure either. She didn't want to make any empty promises. Especially ones she couldn't keep.
She gives her mom a hug anyways. "We'll be okay."
A moment passed, and Denise had finally fallen asleep long enough for Sam to slip out of the house to go to Scott's house.
Once she walked in through the back, she saw Malia sitting on the couch, looking conflicted. "Where's Scott?"
Malia looks up. "He said he was going to meet with that Monroe girl.", she said. Sam frowned. "What the f -- alone???"
Malia nods, a sad look coming to her face. Sam softened, sighing. "He must've told you to stay back."
Malia nods again. "I just… I don't know how to tell him how I feel. About him, about all of this! It's… hard.", she says, dejectedly. Sam's eyebrows rose a bit as she walked closer to the werecoyote. "I think it'll get easier once all of this is over.", she says.
Malia looked at her. "How'd you do it? With Derek, I mean."
Sam's cheeks burned a bit as she stammers. "I – well, I can't say there was a lot of talking. I mean, we didn't really talk about it," She frowns as she remembers. "Now that I think about it, I'm starting to think I was doing a little too much talking…"
Malia frowned. "So we shouldn't talk about it?", she asked. Sam looked at her, shaking her head. "No, you two definitely need to talk it out. At least you'll have the chance to."
Malia let out a groan. "It's so complicated for no reason."
Sam nodded. "Welcome to life." She shakes her head. "Anyways, let's focus on the task at hand. I'm pretty sure even if he doesn't get hurt, we'll still have to get involved."
Malia looks up at Sam. “So we're not going to let him go alone?”
Sam frowns, "Hell no. Let's go get Lydia."
Malia, Lydia and Sam walked through the tunnels, quietly following the path towards the heartbeats they heard.
"She didn’t come alone.”, Malia muttered. Sam frowns, annoyed. “Of course she didn’t. This'd make this too easy."
Malia stops and looks at the girls. “There’s a guy armed with a taser gun around the corner.”
Sam lifted a darkened hand, but Lydia stopped her as they heard Scott's voice. “Trust me, he’s not the kind of person that you want to follow. He’s gonna lead you off a cliff.”
“Following me? No one here is following me, Scott. I’m merely an adviser.”, they heard Gerard. “This is because of you?”, Scott asks.
“That’s right. You’re negotiating with me, Scott.”, they hear Monroe taunt. Malia's small growl rumbles from her chest.
“Okay,” Scott sighs. “Tell me how to settle this. What do you want?”
“I want to see a werewolf beg for peace.”, Monroe tells him. Scott quickly agreed to her wishes. “Fine – okay, I’ll beg. I’ll–I’ll do whatever you want. Just tell me that we don’t have to kill each other. That we can find a way to make peace.”
Monroe lets out a chuckle. “That wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.”
“People are dying.”, Scott urges. Monroe counters him. “They’ve been dying. You only care now because it’s your people.”
Scott sweats. “You have to want something other than seeing us all dead. What if we leave Beacon Hills? All of us?”
“If you leave, we’ll follow you. We’ll hunt you down until every single one of you is gone.”, Monroe tells him. Scott frowns. “Some of us have actually been protecting you.”
“Don’t listen to him. He wants you to be afraid.", Gerard tells her but Scott argues back. “But you shouldn’t be afraid of us. We protect people. People like you.”
Monroe scoffs. “People like me? You don’t know anything about people like me.”
“So help me understand. Tell me what made you hate us so much.”, Scott pleads. Gerard found his begging entertaining. “I don’t think you want to press that button, Scott.”
Scott does so anyways. “Something happened to you, didn’t it? Something bad.”
A second passes before Monroe answers. “Bad doesn’t even come close. There was a faculty meeting that ran late one night. We were complaining about the new course rubric. I thought that was the worst thing I’d have to deal with that year. I was wrong. We all heard it, this sound coming out of the shadows. ‘Probably an animal’, they said, but not like anything I’d ever heard. When it moved, it moved faster than anything I’d ever seen. I saw teeth and claws, fangs… and then there was blood everywhere. I couldn’t believe I was still alive.”
The girls looked at each other with confused frowns on their faces. The beast hadn't been their fault to begin with. They were just as shocked to know about it.
“If one of us had been there…”, Scott sadly says, but Monroe cuts him off. “You were there, Scott. You, your friends, and the deputy. Don’t you remember?”
Scott doesn't say anything, so she continues. “Did you even think to check if anyone was still alive?”
Scott almost trembles. “I didn’t know–”
“You didn’t care.”, Monroe says. “How many people have to die so you could keep your secret? So your friends could carry on as if nothing ever happened? I was there. Lying under those bodies. Hiding and waiting for someone to finally find me.”
A moment of silence waves over before Monroe speaks up again. Malia and Sam's eyes widened at the clicking sound of a gun. “You shouldn’t have come alone, Scott.”
“He didn’t.”, Malia calls, and kicks the hunter with the taser gun in his chest, causing him to crash into the wall, watching as he falls down.
Sam's hair shines into a platinum white as she summons a large resin to stop the hunters from moving. Lydia stands behind her, arms ready to launch her screech if she had to.
Sam glares at Monroe as the hunters struggle to move. “I don't know why you think you're the only one to have gone through some terrifying shit. I don't know if Gerard told you, but we were teenagers when all of this started.”, Sam told her.
Scott looked at the girls. “We are not here to fight!”
Gerard smirks. “Well, then you came here to die.”
“We’re trying to protect you!”, Malia growls. Gerard looks at Scott. “You might want to control your Beta, Scott. She could get you all killed.”
Sam glares at Gerard, "You'd love that. There's something out there that's bigger and worse than you, Gerard."
“Something worse than supernatural cannibals?”, Monroe tells. The teens look at her and her face turns into satisfaction. “Yeah, I know everything now. Wendigos, Oni, were-coyotes… people being murdered as human sacrifices?”
“We weren’t even doing the sacrifices. If anything, we tried to stop them–” Monroe cuts Sam off. “And how many people lost their lives while you were trying?”
Scott frowns sadly. “Too many.”
“It was twelve!”, Monroe shouts. “There are people here who have lost their sons and brothers. And all that came out of an official report was an animal attack.”
“We lost people in those sacrifices too! But guess what, we still stopped it!”, Sam yelled, and walked up to her, only pausing when Scott grabbed her. “Us! We stopped it! Teenagers doing things the adults could've been doing! These past few years have been a shock as to why we even graduated, because we were too busy doing what you couldn't do.”
Monroe falls into silence, so Sam continues. “I never asked to get bit. I never asked for extra powers. I never asked to get beaten by his daughter," Sam points at Gerard. "Way before I got bit. He caused that. We never asked to be used as playthings to bring chaos into this city. We didn't cause this shit."
Monroe's face falters a bit. “We lost people. Kids our age.”, Sam says and looks at Gerard again. "He didn't tell you he'd almost killed his granddaughter just to get her out of the way."
Gerard remains stoic. "But who got her killed?" Scott looks down shamefully. Sam faces Gerard. "She died a hero. She died doing what your family loved doing. If she hadn't been trained to be a hunter, maybe she'd still be here.", she says, making Scott look at her with wide eyes.
Gerard raises an eyebrow. "And what of the Sheriff’s son? That poor innocent boy–”
"The poor, innocent, human boy who you almost beat to death because you couldn't get your way like a child?”, Sam asked, making Monroe's eyes widen. "Yeah, he's not here. He's living his life like he deserves."
Sam walked up to Monroe. "Actually, you should be thanking him if he were here, because without him, you'd probably be dead. He actually helped us take out every single thing that threatened this city including what happened 4 months ago."
Monroe frowned. "What happened four months ago?"
Lydia speaks up. “A Nazi Alpha werewolf from the 1940′s was chemically kept alive by these Dread Doctors who were responsible for bringing the Beast here. Things happened and he escaped the chemical coma, brought these memory erasing cowboys, who snatch people out of a city until the entire city is forgotten, only to be his supernatural army. They almost succeeded in making Beacon Hills a Ghost Town and you’re looking at the people, minus three, who stopped that from happening. However, unless you read up on the Wild Hunt in your supernatural research, you wouldn’t believe me.”
The hunters behind Monroe trembled, and their faces gradually turned fearful as they tried to look around the tunnels.
“What's…”, Malia muttered to Scott, but he tried to plead with Monroe once more. “We’ve all been through horrible situations we shouldn’t have. We’ve all lost somebody and you wanna get revenge. I get that, but just listen to me. Something escaped the Wild Hunt–”
Lydia's scream shocks Sam, distracting her from the hold. “Scott – Scott, it’s here! It’s here right now.”, Lydia yells.
“What?”, Scott asked. Sam looked at her in confusion. "What's here!?"
They turned around to see a bloody, skinless figure standing behind one of the hunters near Monroe who gained her feeling back and aimed her gun at the figure. “Get down!”
Scott pulled at the girls down a different path of the darkened tunnel crouching behind a wall. “Hey, stop! Stop shooting!”, they hear Monroe yell. Scott mutters to the girls. “I think that thing’s making them panic!”
"What the hell even is it?", Sam asked.
Malia gets up, growling. "Malia!", the other three yell as she rushes at the figure, and when she slashes her claw at it, it didn't damage anything. It was as if her hand caused it to disperse into the air.
She looked at her friends in confusion. “What are we supposed to do now?” Before anyone could answer, they looked up to see a lit flare dropping into the tunnel.
Scott grows his stance into defense. “What is that?”
“Backup.”, Lydia grins as Parrish jumps from the open grate and lands near them, his eyes glowing bright orange as he roars deeply at the skinless figure.

Summary: Liam is in love with Stiles best friend who is older than him
———————————————————————————————————
Anyone with eyes could have seen that Liam was head over heels in love with you, but they all knew better than to say it out loud, with good reason.
You were Stiles Stilinski’s best friend in the world, who he was terribly protective over. He freaked out if you went to the mall by yourself, so you couldn’t imagine how he would react over something like this.
Not to mention that he wasn’t Liam’s biggest fan in the first place.
One thing was abundantly clear...there was no good way for that to end.
The last time someone had tried to go out with you, he had thrown a huge fit...and nothing even came of that in the end anyway. No one wanted to know how it would end if he actually found out everything.
Because Liam was a werewolf, there was a lot more involved in a crush for him than you typically thought...a lot more.
Luckily for all of you however, Stiles could be kinda naive when it came to those kinds of things.
As long as no one directly told him what was going on, there would be no good way for him to figure it out on his own.
As far as you were concerned, Liam wasn’t hurting anybody with his little crush. After all, he would likely grow out of it before too long and go after someone else.
Right?
According to Scott, no.
When a young wolf imprinted on a mate in the way that Liam did with you, death was likely the only thing that would separate you.
The only strange part was that you weren’t a wolf. Usually the whole process was stirred on by a nearby omega, which you weren’t.
Still, he wasn’t going to lie to you. Whatever it was Liam was experiencing, it was probably not just some silly crush like you assumed before...which made it much more complicated.
“So, he thinks he’s in love with me?” you repeated, trying to digest what Scott was telling you. It didn’t really make all that much sense, but for the sake of argument, he nodded.
More of less.
“It’s much more than that. The two of you are mates, at least as far as his wolf is concerned...because you were the first person he bonded with after his shift”
The whole thing was way over your head but the more he talked, the more you understood.
Whether it was true or not, because of the circumstances, he had bonded with you. That explained why whenever something dangerous happened in the pack, his first instinct was to find you.
Until now, you had just assumed he checked on everyone like that. But, if what Scott was telling you was to be believed, that wasn’t the case.
“Okay, so what can I do?” You wondered, you liked Liam and you wanted to help him in any way that you could. However, you also didn’t want to make any promises that you couldn’t keep.
After all, you had never even thought about romantic feelings toward Liam. Maybe they were there, but you’d never really given the matter much thought at all…
Until recently, when it started becoming a problem.
Every time you turned around, Liam was trailing you like a lost puppy, even showing up at your house the last few nights.
“I’m pretty sure he scaled my house Scott” you explained, still unsure how the boy had gotten to your second story window. If you hadn’t known what you did, you would have worried that he hurt himself.
However, that wasn’t the case.
It would be pretty hard to hurt a werewolf like Liam with a fall like that. It worried you, even if it shouldn’t have.
Scott, on the other hand, was amused by that. Whatever it was Liam had going on, he had it bad for you.
And that was going to start making it really hard to keep it a secret from Stiles...not that he was your first concern at the moment.
“He’s drawn to you Y/N, I hate to say it, but maybe humor him for a while” he suggested. Humor him? How were you supposed to do that?
You couldn’t exactly move him into your house so he’d stop showing up. Though, no matter what you did, he probably wouldn’t stop acting strangely.
In truth, the only option you had until they could figure it out was talking to him.
Maybe it could be fun? Having your own little werewolf.
Maybe.
~
“Liam? Can I talk to you for a second?” you called, jogging lightly to catch up with him at his locker. He was searching for a book for chemistry but as soon as your voice entered his ears, everything other than you was forgotten.
It was almost as if his skin was on fire at the very idea of being near you and it wasn’t even his choice. His body had made a choice for him that you were the center of his world.
There was nothing he could do to change it.
“Yeah, anything” he assured, steadying his voice before he spoke. If he wasn’t careful, you would hear just how gidy you made him feel.
Though, he almost wondered if you knew. There was something in the way you looked at him that was different than every before.
However, every bit of suspicion was gone from his mind the moment you took his hand in your own, leading him into a nearby empty classroom. In the middle of the day, it was the best you could do.
At least it could be locked so no one would interrupt you in the middle of werewolf business.
“Liam, I’ve been talking to Scott about the last few days and how you’ve been feeling, and I want to help you. Do you think there’s anything I could do to help you feel better?” You asked, leaning up against the teachers desk, your eyes focused completely on his face.
Immediately, a thousand things popped into his head but none of them would have been appropriate responses to your question.
You could never leave his side, let him mark you with his scent, let him sleep beside you...there were so many things.
But none of them weren’t super creepy things to say out loud. Though, you had asked him to tell you the truth, so maybe he should just be honest.
The worst thing that you could say was no, and then he’d be right where he was in the first place.
“I’d feel better if I could make sure that you were safe all the time, especially at night, because there’s no one there to protect you…” he started, leading with what he deemed to be the least creepy request.
It was a lot to take in but you could do that. Your parents were frequently out on trips or busy with work so it wouldn’t be a matter of worrying about them.
“Anything else?” you wondered, honestly unsure if there was or not.
As soon as you asked though, you knew there had to be something more. He was practically vibrating with nerves, and you didn’t have to be a werewolf to know that he was holding back.
“What is it Liam?” you asked, closing the space between the two of you to rest your hand on his shoulder. The touch calmed his anxiety and made it a little easier to focus.
You could practically feel the way his body relaxed. Every muscle returning to normal as he breathed.
The last thing you needed was for him to lose control in the middle of the day, in a public place.
“I need to mark you” he started, instantly cringing at how weird that sounded. “Not anything weird, I just need to make you smell like me. There are too many other wolves around here and you smell all wrong” he ranted, hoping that he was making sense.
He didn’t want to weird you out but surprisingly, you didn’t seem to care.
You weren’t new to this whole supernatural world, and honestly that was more normal than anything you could have come up with on your own.
“Alright, how do you do that?” you hummed, unsure of how the whole thing worked. You might not have been new, but that didn’t mean you understood what was going on with Liam right now.
Honestly though, Liam was just as clueless. When it came to you, he was working off of instinct alone.
“I don’t know” he shrugged, meaning that it was time to go to the higher ups, which wasn’t going to be easy.
No one knew more about werewolves than Stiles, who had done an ungodly amount of research when he found out that Scott had been bitten. If you had a werewolf question, he would likely know the answer.
Not that you wanted to ask him.
Still, you decided to text him just to be sure.
Hey, How does a werewolf mark their mate? Just curious
You had no idea if he would know or not, but it was worth a shot. At this point, you were willing to do anything to make Liam a little more comfortable...even if the whole thing was weird.
Anymore though, weird was your new normal.
His response came in a few minutes, a few minutes that you’d spent with Liam’s head resting on your shoulder. He really was totally calm as long as he was within your breathing space.
It wasn’t until you separated that it became a problem.
Usually, a bite. It’s permanent and lets other wolves know that person is mated
Well, that was going to be problematic.
You couldn’t exactly walk around with a bite scar on your neck for everyone to see. Not to mention, you weren’t really sure about the whole mate thing yet.
It just didn’t seem like the best idea...at least, not yet.
You texted Stiles quickly to thank him, before turning your attention back to Liam.
“How do you feel about biting?” You teased, showing him your phone. Now it was his turn to be conflicted because one side of him was all for it, but he also understood that it was a bad idea.
There had to be another way.
But the only thing you could come up with was stupid.
“What about cologne? Would that be enough? To at least make you feel better?” you asked, brainstorming. At the very least, it was a sort of claiming, and it was a scent thing.
If nothing else, it was worth a shot.

“Send Help”: Liam Dunbar Imagine
Liam Dunbar Imagine Liam Dunbar x Reader, Liam Dunbar x PS Reader, Liam Dunbar x Plus Size Reader , Stilinski Sister! Reader
Fall Imagine: Hayride Teen Wolf Imagine
Imagine going on a hayride with Liam....
First of all, you'd be suckered into going
You'd wanted to stay at home and watch a movie and eat pizza
But SOMEONE gave you those big, puppy eyes...and you fucking caved like the weak bitch you are
Second, you were not told that you were being joined by the whole pack
You made a mental note to hold this against Liam later
He made you drop your candy apple on accident
You decided not to hold it against him
However, when he offered you his...he stumbled and it stuck right to your shirt
You prayed to whatever greater power was listening to give you the strength
So anyway, you sit on the damn hay and he puts his arm around you...and admittedly it's kinda nice
Liam smells good
The crisp air is refreshing
It's pretty out
And then....your worse nightmare happened
You're fucking clumsy ass boyfriend falls off the trailer....
And takes your ass with him
You're laying there
Flat on your back
In the dirt
Staring up at the stars
And asking God what you did to make him mad at you
Your fucking brother is on the trailer laughing his ass off
You make a mental note to fucking kill him later
Scott is asking if you're alright
You make a mental note to kill him for being friends with your brother
Liam is panicking that he's hurt you
You make a mental note to kill him for being clumsy
You just stare into the sky and quiety reach your hand up to cover his mouth
"Shut up, Liam." you said. "Just shut up."
You're brother is still howling
So you did what you knew any demon of hell would do
You grabbed the dirty, nasty candy apple off the ground...and threw it at his fucking head
It stuck right between his eyebrows
You grinned, planted a whopping kiss on Liam, grabbed his hand and got back on the trailer
He's in a daze but you snuggle up to him anyway
Because nothing would beat the image of Stiles with a candy apple between his eyebrows
Happy Fall to you!
Heeeeeeey, smoochies! I hope you enjoyed this little Liam headcanons imagine and if you did I would love to hear from you! Please let me know in the comments below! Happy Reading!!!

Reader’s POV
It had been a week since we had moved into our new place and saying i hated it was an understatement. Sure the house was okay, I never really cared for the size of a house but I cared about the people in it and around it. The past week had consisted of meeting with the principle at the new school the boys would be attending. Scott would be working as the assistant coach for basketball while I stayed home. There wasn’t a spot open for me and honestly I was glad because I didn’t want anything to do with this new place and new kids. I had been feeling like absolute crap the past week and I couldn’t bring myself to care enough to go get checked out. Although I was worried how Liam would handle the new change he was doing a lot better than me. I was terrified to get him to a new school where he had no friends. He hadn’t had any luck making new friends in the past years he’s been with us which is why I was scared he’d get picked on all over again. “Mom.” Liam’s hand waved in front of my face and I looked at him. “Dad’s waiting in the car.” I sigh and stand from the couch I had forgotten I was sitting in. Scott wanted to take us out to dinner before their very first day at a new school.
“Alright, come on.” I smiled at him and he wrapped his arms around me. “Hey, are you okay?” I placed my hands on his back and he nodded.
“I know you’re not, we all do.” I sighed as he pulled away from the hug and looked at me. “It’s okay mom, me and Derek are going to be okay, you don’t have to worry about us.” He smiled at me.
“Mom! Liam!” Derek’s voice boomed from the front door and we both looked towards it. “Let’s go, I'm starving.” I smiled and shook my head before walking towards the door, Liam following.
“When aren’t you hungry?” Derek smiled when I ruffled his hair. I walked passed him and I could hear him and Liam pushing each other as their chuckles followed me to the car.
"You okay?” Scott’s voice spoke before I could close the door.
“Yeah.” I gave him my best smile but he could always tell when I was lying. “I don’t want to talk about it right now.” I sighed when he looked at me with sad eyes. He knew I hated it here, I didn’t have anyone to talk to and I didn’t have anything to do. For the past week I had been watching reruns of a stupid show I hadn’t seen since I was a teenager. Liam and Derek climbed into the car chuckling and Scott sighed before grabbing my hand and driving off. “Are you guys ready for school tomorrow?” I looked back at Liam and Derek who were punching each other in the arm.
“No.” Liam spoke at the same time as Derek said “Yes.” Derek rolled his eyes and looked at me. “I’m thinking about joining the basketball team here, if you guys would let me?” He bit his lip and I smiled.
“Of course, we’ll have to see how you do with your shift but if you want to join the basketball team you should.” He smiled wide showing me his bright white teeth.
“I wish they had lacrosse here.” Liam pouted and I looked at him.
“You know your dad wouldn’t let you join this year even if they did.” I raised my eyebrows and he huffed.
“That’s not fair, why does Derek get to do what he wants?” Liam crossed his arms and I sighed.
“Honey, you’ll be able to play lacrosse at the new house, I'll tell you what, I'll look around to see if they have any lacrosse teams around, maybe it can be like an out of school thing, yeah?” Liam smiled as his eyes sparkled causing me to smile back. “Your dad will have to be in the team too tho, just to keep you in line.” I looked at Scott and he smiled. I knew coaching basketball was going to be new for him and I know how much he loved lacrosse so it was the least I can do.
“Maybe you can help me with basketball tryouts?” Derek spoke and Liam looked at him.
“Mom doesn’t know anything about basketball.” Liam huffed and I raised my eyebrows once again.
“Oh honey, I know more about basketball than you do.” Liam looked at me before tilting his head.
“You said you hated sports.” Liam looked at me and I smiled.
“Your mom was offered a spot in the lacrosse team when we were in high school.” Scott spoke and I looked at him as he smiled at me. It was true, I was offered a spot but I didn’t take it, I had so much shit going on with the supernatural and taking care of Liam that I had no time even if I wanted to take it.
“Why didn't you play?” Derek spoke and I sighed.
“Because I had to take care of this little one.” I pinched Liam’s cheeks and they reddened almost immediately.
“I kept you from a lot of stuff.” He whispered and looked down.
“Hey, I didn’t care for lacrosse. I would have much rather been at home with you.” I smiled and Derek looked at me.
“You’re an amazing mom.” I smiled at him and for the first time in a week I actually felt happy.
________________
Liam’s POV
We were sitting in the small restaurant and I couldn’t help but notice mom’s lack of appetite. She hadn’t eaten much the past couple of days and we had all noticed. We didn’t say anything in fear of making her upset but dad had promised to talk to her about it. “Is everything okay?” I spoke up and they all looked at me. Derek giving me a glare while he shook his head.
“Of course honey, everything’s okay.” She smiled and dad sighed putting his fork down.
“We need to talk.” Dad looked at her and she sighed.
“No. Not here, not now. Can we just enjoy this before all hell breaks lose?” She rolled her eyes and stood up before walking away into the restroom.
“Was that necessary?” Derek looked at me and I sighed.
“I’m sorry that I'm concerned about our mom not eating Derek.” I rolled my eyes and dad looked at me.
“She’s been stressed, it’s all. She just needs to adjust to this place, that’s all.” He smiled at us and I shook my head.
“There’s something else. I just don't know what.” I looked at the direction of the restroom hearing small sobs as I concentrated. “She’s crying.” I looked at dad who was already on his feet walking towards the restroom.
“What do you think it is?” Derek spoke and I looked at him.
“I don’t know, I've never seen her like this, I don’t think dad has seen her like this either.” I looked over at dad who had mom in his arms and I could hear the loud sobs even without the werewolf hearing.
“Hey, tell me what’s wrong.” I concentrated in their conversation although I knew mom hated when I did it.
“I can’t do this Scott, I can’t.” She sobbed out and I sighed immediately, she had always been strong that seeing her fall apart made me feel as if nothing was going to be okay.
“Baby, it’s okay, you just need to adjust, that’s it, that’s all that needs to happen.” She shook her head and looked over at me and she frowned when her eyes met mine. I quickly looked down at my food and I heard her sigh. “Liam, I know you can hear me, please don’t intrude into our conversation, I need to talk to your dad.” He sniffled were the last thing I heard before paying attention to Derek’s voice.
“Should have seen that coming.” He took a bite of his food and I shook my head.
“There’s something wrong Derek, something bigger than anything both of us have seen.” I dropped my fork.
“Like what? Something supernatural?” I shook my head and he looked at me. “You want me to listen in, don't you?” I gave him a small smile and he rolled his eyes. “If I get in trouble, it’s on you.”
“Just do it.” He looked at me and I could see his pupils dilating as he focused on their voices and I bit my lip trying not to distract him. His mouth dropped almost immediately and before I could ask him what the hell was going on mom and dad walked to the table. Her nose was red and so were her eyes.
“I’m okay.” She smiled at me and placed a hand on mine. She looked at Derek who eyes hadn’t left me as his mouth hung open. “Derek?” She scrunched her eyebrows and nudged him and he shook his head looking at her.
“Mom.” His voice was a whisper and she looked at him strangely as he got up to hug her.
“What’s wrong?” She wrapped her arms around him. “Hey.” She rubbed her hand up and down his back and I couldn’t tell if he was crying or if he was just in shock.
“Nothing, I just needed a hug.” He pulled back and wiped his eyes before looking at me.
“What?” He shook his head before sitting back down and I looked at mom who wiped her own eyes.
“Nothing, come on. Let’s get going.” Dad spoke before putting money on the table and walking out with his hand on the back of his neck.
“Is dad okay?” I looked at mom who nodded before walking after him. “Derek, what the hell is going on?” I looked at him and he shook his head trying to walk passed me but I grabbed his arm. “Derek.”
“I can’t be the one to tell you, I won't.” He yanked his arm from my grasp and I looked at him. “Mom will tell us when she’s ready, just try not to piss her off till then, alright?” He walked away and I was left standing there like an idiot wondering what the hell was going on with mom and dad. I had seen them argue once or twice but dad had never been one to walk away from mom and that scared me.

Unbreakable pt 2
Liam Dunbar x Stilinski!Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1525 words
Warnings: none
Summary: The reader doesn’t know what to do with the feelings she has for Liam, and needs a little bit of Scott’s guidance to understand it all.
———————————————————————————————————
Liam had been expecting something from you the next time you came together, if nothing more than acknowledgement, but there was nothing. In fact, every time you two were together, it was like the kiss had never happened, almost as if you hadn't felt what he did...and it was starting to affect him.
It wasn't everyday that someone put their neck out for Liam like that, so the idea that you could and then go on feeling nothing was more than he could handle. It didn't make any sense.
Unless you really didn't feel that way for him, not that he would blame you. Liam knew that he came with a lot of baggage that no one would want to claim, and you couldn't be expected to take that on just because he wanted you to.
That wouldn't be fair for anyone involved, including your older brother who still, hated Liam.
You were aware of all the stolen glances Liam took at you over the lunch table or at pack meetings, and unlike what he thought, your hesitance had nothing to do with Stiles or the rest of the pack.
The only problem between you and Liam came from the an event you'd witnessed in your past. It was something few of you ever talked about but it haunted you when you closed your eyes-Allison's death.
No one had been closer to the hunter, and in that time, you got to see what real loved looked like...between her and Scott. It was good for a time, and then it was over before you even knew what was going on.
Not only had you seen the girl die, but you'd gotten a first hand account of how much Scott hurt in the wake of her funeral. There was no picking up the pieces and even now, you could see the part of him that was missing when you looked in Scott's honey colored eyes.
He was broken, and you wouldn't be able to bear it if you ever put Liam through that kind of pain, whether it was your choice or not.
Scott was a true alpha, and the stronger than anyone you'd ever met and if he couldn't deal with the loss and grief that bogged him down every day, there was no way Liam would be able to. So for that reason alone, you had decided to bury the feelings you had for Liam, in an attempt to save him from future agony.
Maybe it was a selfish choice, but you'd made it and the repercussions would just be something you were going to have to deal with. You refused to hurt him, no matter how hard it would be.
So, every single time you two were in the same area, you smiled in greeting and then never looked up again. You knew it would be easier if you stopped showing up all together but you found it very hard to actually do that.
It was as if your heart was longing for Liam, and no amount of reasoning was going to change that. There was nothing you could do, but grin and bear it in secret...
Until Scott decided to bring a stop to all the nonsense you were pulling.
The man may not have been your alpha, but he was your brother's best friend and he'd known you all your life. He could feel how you felt for his beta by reading your nervous energy alone, and the fact you two weren't together yet was criminal.
Anyone with eyes could see how well you two would be together.
~
The knock on the classroom door had given you a heart attack, considering no one was supposed to be at the school this late at night. You had gotten permission from the chemistry teacher to finish your project in the lab, but that hadn't been extended to any other people.
Considering all the crazy shit you all had been through lately, it wasn't nonsensical for you to be a little paranoid, led alone your genetics. Still, the door opened before you could panic too much, revealing Scott, a casual grin on his face.
Had you not been more caught off guard, there was a good chance you would have questioned that look, but you were too relieved that he wasn't a killer, or some kind of monster.
"What are you doing here Scotty?" you hummed, closing the book with an audible thud. You were glad to see him, but there really wasn't any reason for him to be visiting you at the school...unless-
-"Oh god, Stiles isn't dead is he?" you asked, standing from your bench without even thinking about the action. The very idea that your goofball of a big brother could have gotten hurt,or worse, was too much to bear.
Without thinking, Scott laughed. There were moments sometimes when he forgot that you and Stiles were related, but then those brief occurrences were corrected by comments like that.
"No, he's alright. I'm actually here to talk to you" he assured, instantly sensing your body relax as your heartbeat returned to normal.
You were curious, he could tell, but not afraid anymore for Stiles' well being. "Okay, about what?" you wondered, packing your books and paperwork into your book-bag as you talked, now that Scott was here, he could give you a ride home.
There was, again, a second of silence. "Actually, can we walk and talk?" he asked, explaining to you that he'd left his motorbike running in the parking lot. It was a weak excuse but it was late, and you didn't think anything of it in the moment. Regardless, you nodded, following him out the door.
Everything seemed normal until you turned the corner toward the staircase, seeing Liam sitting there at the base of the steps. You didn't know what he was doing there but by now, you realized that Scott had planned something. It would be too much of a coincidence that he be here at the same time as both of you.
"Hi Liam" you greeted, shuffling your feet nervously beneath you. It didn't matter if you tried to hide your feelings, they were there. He grinned, rubbing the back of his neck nervously, looking to Scott for guidance instead of facing you for too long.
He really had no idea what was going on, but he didn't want to make it worse, whatever it was. So Scott gladly took over, taking a seat beside the boy, with his attention poised on you.
"Y/N, Liam has a few things that he'd like to ask you, and I'm sure you'll have something to say back, but I wanted to talk to you first...what's going on?" he asked, patting the marble step beside him, clearly gesturing for you to join him, which you did after a moment or so.
You weren't sure how to start the conversation. You couldn't just tell them the truth, about everything you'd witnessed with Allison, and the trauma that had caused. You were afraid to be in love, and what you felt for Liam was scary.
"I'm alright, I've just been preoccupied I guess" you lied, shrugging as casually as possible, even though your thoughts were running a million miles an hour. Scott could tell that you were lying, but he'd started the conversation between you both, and that was all he'd meant to do.
Before you knew what to say, Scott informed you that he'd be outside waiting for you two when you were done talking, with Stiles and the jeep. You thought about calling him out for his earlier lie about his bike, but he was gone before you could even compose the sentence.
That left you and Liam alone, in a long, empty hallway with nothing but your feelings between you...goody.
"How are you Y/N?" Liam started, turning his body slightly on the step to better talk to you. You could see in his bright blue eyes that he was begging for you to let him in, walking on egg shells in fear of losing what part of you he did have.
...And it broke your heart.
Instead of answering his question, you reached up and took his hand in your own, squeezing it lightly. "I'm scared Li, what if something happens to one of us?" You asked, your voice quiet in your throat as if you were worried breathing the words to life would make them happen.
Liam himself was a little shocked at the revelation. He hadn't thought about something happening, or being separated, he'd only got as far as to love you. Eventually he was going to prove that to you, all he had to do now was get you to give him the chance.
"It doesn't matter how much time we have Y/N, we need to be together for as long as we can" He said, his words sounded like a promise. Somehow that slowed your heart, and calmed your mind...something he could sense right away.
Liam knew he was getting closer and closer to you letting him in, because after all, the bond you two shared was unbreakable.

Liam’s Alpha
Liam Dunbar x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1660 words
Warnings: none
Summary: When Liam cannot control his anger, Scott results to sicking his alpha girlfriend on him as a way of getting him to calm. The only problem is, the pack has no clue she’s an alpha.
———————————————————————————————————
It was becoming abundantly clear to Scott that Liam wasn't really one for following orders and that was going to become a problem very quickly. Sure, he was a young beta with a lot on his mind and a ton of confusing hormones surfing his nerves, but that couldn't be an excuse. Scott needed his pack sharp and ready for anything, so he knew something had to be done.
Somebody had to do something to get him under control, and it was clear that Stiles' tie him up and wait method wasn't ideal, so he moved to plan B. Everyone knew that Liam's new girlfriend was older, but more hidden to the world was her real talent, as an alpha.
The scent was slight on you, and would have been hard to read with Scott wasn't an alpha himself. Luckily, he'd gotten it right off of you the first time you'd met and you'd entered an agreement...no one needed to know what you were.
Not even Liam was aware that you were an alpha because you always wore your amulet that kept that power at bay. They all knew you were something supernatural, maybe they even knew you were a wolf but as of right now, your status in the pack was a very well kept secret.
But not for long.
"I can't Scott! He'll never look at me the same" You sighed, knowing it's the complete and utter truth. To Liam, something like this would land like a complete and utter bombshell, he'd be devastated and that wasn't an excuse you were willing to make.
The true alpha looked conflicted, but also empathetic. He understood where you were coming from. You didn't want any of the others to think of you differently or be affected by what you were, in a way, what you were doing was selfless and he could respect that.
At the same time, he needed you to let that wolf out. There was only one thing in the world that could calm Liam now, and it would seem that his mate was just the thing. It was the last stitch resort to attempt to calm Liam's restless wolf, and Scott could only hope it would work.
"I understand that it scares you Y/N, but this is the only way. His wolf is unstable, it'll rip him apart" The words were intense, and too much to handle in the moment but that seemed to help motivate you a little more.
The very idea that something could happen to Liam lit a fire inside you that prompted the removal of that chain from around your neck.
The now-useless amulet hung along the bottom of the string lifelessly, instantly filling you with that dread you'd tried so hard to keep buried inside you. A she-wolf's transformation was far more painful and elaborate than any other pack member, and it had been so long since you'd felt it.
Thankfully, you had been a werewolf all your life, it was genetic, something you shared with all your siblings...so the grace period of a shift was quicker. You were back to normal before long, as normal as you could be at lease, and preparing yourself to break the news to your young lover.
Scott stared at you for a moment, his eyes slightly wide as he took in the effects of having another alpha so close to him. It had been so long since Derek was around, and it would seem that there was a difference in the effects a female alpha had on other alphas as well.
It was like a warm embrace, a hug of sorts from a family member who knew you better than anyone, that was what your aura felt like. It was in that moment that Scott was sure he'd made the right decision, the one thing that could calm Liam was you.
All you had to do now was track down Liam and have a heart to heart.
~
You found him on the Stilinski living room couch with an ice pack held to his forehead. Apparently, he had shifted last night and rather than chain him down like he was supposed to, Stiles had made the decision to let him run wild for a bit, where he inflicted a few minor injuries to himself and most likely countless others to passers-by.
The second you entered the house, the air in the room was different. Stiles couldn't feel it but Liam sure as hell could. He knew that there was something off with you but it wasn't until you rounded the corner that he could put his finger on it.
You smelled different, walked differently and even played with your hair different than he knew you too. Every single motion you made stopped his breathing a little more, put a hitch in his throat as you drew closer to him.
You smelled different.
"What happened to you Y/N? What did you do?" Liam asked, his voice nervous and broken a little, something that was out of character for him with you. You weren't all that sure how to answer the fidgeting boy, there weren't really words for what you were, not words that he would understand.
So you sighed, running your hands through your hair lightly, trying to gather your thoughts in any way that you could. There had to be some way to get him to understand where you were coming from.
"Liam, I'm not exactly what you think I am" you started, watching the way his face changed with each passing second. There could be a million ways for you to follow up that sentence and if he was being honest with himself, Liam wasn't ready for any of them.
He would still love you no matter what you were, right? You couldn't be something so bad that it would terminate the way he feels for you, could it? He didn't think so, but right about then, you drew the same conclusion.
"Scott needed me to change something, so that you could draw some kind of control through your anchor" Again Liam was stumped, you already knew you were his anchor so what were you trying to say?
It was becoming increasingly more and more obvious that Liam wasn't getting the point. You were just going to have to rip the band aid off as quickly as possible. "Li- I'm not a beta...I've been an alpha all along" the words hurt to leave your lips, like tiny daggers slicing at the simple skin as they went. It felt as though everything your relationship was built on was a lie, and you were splintering the illusion at the moment.
There wasn't as much shock on Liam's face as you'd expected, as if he'd known all along and didn't have the words for it. He hadn't known, of course, but now that it was out in the open, it made sense. He'd never really seen you lose control during the full moon or any other time. You held yourself remarkably well when the rest of the pack was losing their minds.
You were strong, much stronger than anyone he'd ever met.
Liam didn't notice it really, because the change was subconscious but he was calming. His unsettled, nervous demeanor had stopped its never ending ebbing and flowing. The seas within his head were gentle as can be and you were all the reason for that.
If he hasn't had you, he would be lost. "You think I care about that Y/N? You're still you" he hummed, feeling a sudden urge to be closer to you than he ever had been before. His wolf was craving your touch and that's exactly what he was going to get.
You didn't even have time to react before the boy was cuddled up in your lap, his head nuzzled in your chin. The most endearing thing about the whole exchange was the light grumbling he was making, deep in his throat at the loving he was getting.
"That means so much to me Li, but you and I have to talk" you start, there was a reason Scott brought you on specifically. No one else could deal with Liam the way that you could, you understood that now.
"You have to get a handle on whatever's bothering you, it's dangerous. If you don't find a way to calm down, your wolf will tear you apart from the inside out" you warned. It was rare, but you'd seen it before, in fact, one of your betas had once done the same thing. Perhaps that was why you cared so much for Liam, he was your second chance.
He understood that you were telling the truth, why would you lie to him? But that didn't seem to make it easier.
Liam was terrified.
Sure, you made him feel more in control but that didn't mean it was going to be enough. He didn't want to go crazy and rip himself to shreds. That sounded like the worst fate that anyone could have, and he wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea.
Luckily, he had you. "But I'm not going to let that happen to you Liam, I'm never going to let anything happen to you" you assured, trying your hardest to keep his mind from running. You could feel the nervous energy just radiating off of him, it was making your anxious.
"You and I will figure this out-but for now, whenever you feel that control slipping, I want you to call me and I'll help you" your words were genuine but forceful as you stared into those blue eyes. Liam really was the most handsome man in the entire world, all you needed was his cooperation. "No matter where I am, or what I'm doing...I will always be your alpha" You promised, pressing a light kiss into his forehead, hopefully he would be able to take your help without too much trouble.

Unbreakable
Liam Dunbar x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1463 words
Warnings:none
Summary: Liam really has a hard time controlling his shift in the beginning but Stiles' little sister gets really good at talking him down because she's his anchor though none of them are actually aware of that.
———————————————————————————————————
It was true that Stiles had been very understanding of Scott's lycanthropy in the beginning but as understanding as he was, you were arguably more supportive.
You had known Scott all your life and he was just as important to you as Stiles, so it was only natural that you would be there for him if he ever needed you...which he rarely did.
Both boys wanted to protect you and being a few months older than you just gave way to that. You were never included in anything, until Scott got a beta.
The process was new, and accelerated due to the whole unplanned bite thing, so you were all up in the air. The entire pack was scrambling to figure out what to do with this explosively angry, resentment-filled teenager who was consequently, going to turn into a rage monster.
No one knew how bad the anger was going to be, considering not one of you knew how bad it was in the first place, but it was much worse than you had been imagining. Liam had become prone to fits of inconsolable aggression, wherein he could only see red..something you were quick to figure out.
It had all started during a lacrosse game against his old school, Devenford prep. Brett Talbot, a loathsome, beanstalk of a troll had been tormenting Liam as per usual, but he seemed to be handling it fine.
Until of course, he rushed off the field.
The crowd gasped at his disappearance but Coach quickly bandaged it, sending both your brother and his best friend to go figure out what was going on. They did so without hesitation and that was all it took to send you off.
Worst case, they wouldn't need your help and you could return to the game knowing that everything was fine, but if that wasn't the case, maybe you could help. You had your fingers crossed that his stick had just come unlaced or something but when you made it to the locker-room, you saw just how wrong you were.
Liam was pinned to the tile wall, Scott on one side and your brother on the other. The water was turned all the way up and splashing down on him in a cold stream...though it didn't seem to be helping.
"What the hell are you two doing?" you asked, tensing up instantly as you tried to think through your course of action. Every bit of your nature was screaming to help but it was a delicate situation that you had to approach differently than normal.
Liam's attention snapped to you in a moment, a slight snarl leaving his lips as he pushed against their hold to get to you. You couldn't be sure what he wanted but in his state, it could have been anything. "Y/N, Get out of here! Now" Stiles barked, not willing to let anything happen to you, especially not at the hands of the beta.
You didn't answer, ignoring him so he turned to Scott this time. "He's right Y/N, it's not safe" he warned, watching with curious eyes as you continued even deeper into the locker-room. Anyone in their right mind would have ran for the hills at such a thing but you didn't seem scared-you knew how dangerous he was, but you weren't afraid.
Slowly but surely, your footsteps increased in pace until you were standing just behind Scott, you eyes still keeping contact with Liam's own. He was fighting just as aggressively as before against the two older boys but at least he was focused on one thing now.
You knew that Liam could easily tear you to shreds, not that Scott would allow that, and you had to keep that in mind. It wouldn't be on purpose, you knew he would never hurt you but he was wild.
Wild.Feral. Angry.
Luckily, you weren't one to turn away in the face of danger. It was a family thing, when sane people turned and ran away from something that could kill them, Stilinskis had this tendency to do the opposite.
"Liam...can you hear me? It's Y/N" you ask, he was only a few feet away, if that, but there was no way to tell what stage of the shift he was in. Every stage would differently affect how his body was processing information, you could only hope he still knew who you were.
He grunted, a good sign as far as you were concerned.
"Good...that's good right?" You shrugged, turning to Scott who looked just as confused as you were at this point. You could vaguely hear Stiles complaining about how bad of an idea this was in the background but you'd spent your whole life tuning him out so it didn't bother you all that much.
You were more sure of yourself now, taking notice of how Liam's attention was only poised on your now. If he was really only that concerned with you, that would make it easier for you to calm him, which was the ultimate goal.
"You're okay Liam, I'm right here for you, alright?" you coo, breaking away from behind the cover Scott's body had created to close the distance between you and the beta. Everyone noticeably tensed, everyone but you of course. You weren't afraid of Liam, no matter how dangerous he may have looked in this moment.
Liam snarled and snapped as you neared his body but didn't lunge at you as you'd been expecting. He even let you rest your hand on his shoulder slowly, something you were sure you would lose a finger over.
You didn't know what to say? What would make the situation better? Over the course of the interaction he had calmed a little already and the longer you were near him, the more even his heartbeat became. You had no way of knowing that but Scott knew. He could already tell that Liam had just began to experience the Anchor's bond, whether he knew about that or not.
Eventually, you had your hands on either side of Liam's face, holding him still as you stared into his face, urging him to ease with your presence. You didn't know what you were doing or if it would work but you had to try. The water had began streaming down your back now, as apposed to the splashing you'd been experiencing before from his close proximity.
It was unpleasant, but you didn't seem to care one bit.
In truth, there might as well have been no one around because all you could see was him. The little beta you had only spoken to in passing before now was occupying all your attention. His raging breath had began syncing up with your own, his large, still clawed, hand held over your heart as he tried to cling to the bits of him that were still human in the moment.
By the time he was calmed, the two of you were panting as you tried to come down from whatever experience you'd just had. Shock dressing both of your faces as you thought over it all.
"What was that? How did you know to do that?" Liam asked, sliding down against the tile until he was on the floor, looking up at you as you turned off the shower. You were both soaking wet and stammering for words, but there was this level of understanding too, something comforting between you both that was impossible to understand.
You shrugged, sitting down beside him on the ground, not even asking before settling into his side. It was as if you had known each other all your lives at this point, some kind of bond had been formed between you and the wolf raging inside him.
It was unbreakable.
"You needed help, and I was here" it was so casual, as if what you'd done was no big deal and that brought a tired smile to Liam's face. All this time, the two of you had went to school together and he'd never spoken to you.
All it took was a supernatural changing and a near death experience to bring you together. "Thank you Y/N" his words caught you off guard, you hadn't been expecting a thank you or anything. Why would he need to thank you? You would have done it for anyone who needed help, it just really worked out well with Liam.
"Don't mention it" You grin, your eyes widening when his wet lips pressed against your own. The kiss was just as unexpected as most things had become in your life but that being said, you weren't upset about it by any means. "I'll have to save your ass more often" you wink, silently glad Scott and Stiles had disappeared at some point during the exchange.

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Chapter 35: Death of a Tomahawk
Sam didn't know what to make of it. She knew her friends were crazy, almost borderline senile, even. But this???
She frowned as she looked in Scott's tub to see a tape bound Liam who looked both angry and scared.
"What…In the dark hell am I looking at.", she says, looking at Liam. "We didn't know what to do.", Scott said.
"So you tie him up and throw him in here?", she looked at her best friends in disbelief before walking up to Liam.
He scooted away as much as he could in fear and she shook my head, reassuring him. "Don't worry, I'm not like these two nut jobs. I'm gonna get you outta here and we'll explain what the hell happened and why.", she reassures, pointedly at Scott who looked down at his feet.
Scott and Stiles grabbed Liam and sat him in a chair at the end of Scott's bed in a chair. This was a bad idea. Liam was either gonna have to accept that he's now a werewolf or he was gonna freak out and run. Most likely, he'll be going for the ladder.
"Liam, we're going to take the tape off your mouth. If you scream it goes right back on, if you talk quietly it stays off, got it?", Stiles asked him, Liam looked at Sam and nodded. Stiles ripped the tape off and Liam exclaimed painfully and growled.
"You couldn't have been gentler than that?", Sam asked Stiles. "Okay Liam, now you've seen a lot of confusing things tonight and more confusing things are going to happen because of the confusing things that happened tonight, do you understand?", Stiles asked him, making them look at him in confusion.
"Not really.", Liam replied, glaring at him.
"Good, that's good.", Stiles said and Sam shook her head. "I don't understand either.", Scott said.
She frowned, pointing at Scott. "You better tell him what the hell you just did and why.", she scolded and moved towards the door.
"W-Wait, where are you going?", Scott asked, nervously. Sam turned to him. "I'm getting fresh air. This is a little much.", Sam says before leaving, much to Liam's dismay.
Sam walked downstairs to contemplate.
They didn't know a thing about Liam. What if he's another Isaac? Or a mini Derek. What if he's just naturally a hot head? She couldn't see him being anything like Jackson. This was so confusing. Way more confusing than dealing with a freshly bitten Scott.
This was stupid. How could Scott do this?
She sighed and walked back upstairs to Scott's room.
"Shouldn't have said that.", Stiles said as Liam looked at them in shock. "What?", Liam responded quietly and started sniffling. Sam stormed up to them. "What did you two do?", she fussed and went to console Liam.
"Liam, it's okay, you're going to be alright, you're not going to die.", Scott said, trying to console Liam.
"Probably not.", Stiles said. "Stop it.", Scott hissed.
"Okay possibly not.", Stiles corrected. Sam looked at him in disbelief. "Stiles!"
"Would you just help me untie him?", Scott asked him. They got Liam up and untied him. "Liam, are you okay?", Scott asked him as he stood.
"We're sorry about that, we're really sorry.", Stiles apologized. Liam picked up the chair and hit Scott with it, knocking him down. Sam's eyes widened as Liam punched Stiles and ran out.
They chased him down the stairs but he was already out of the house. She sighed as she watched Scott and Stiles wrestle each other on the floor.
"I got him!", Stiles exclaimed, holding onto Scott's leg. "I got him, I got him!"
"You guys are idiots.", Sam said, making Stiles stop and see it was Scott's leg. Scott glared at him and pushed Stiles' foot off his head then looked at the door.
"Your plan sucked too." Scott said then turned to glare at Sam. "Why didn't you stop him?"
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't bite him and tie him up, scaring him shitless.", she replied, leaving the house and going home.
The next morning was awkward as Sam sat next to Kira and Lydia in class as they looked over notes.
"These are your math notes?", Kira asked Lydia as she looked at her computer. Some code was downloading on her computer. "No wonder Malia's failing. She can't understand that.", Sam says, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Um, some of them are my notes, the rest I think might actually be a code…", Lydia said.
"So you don't remember writing it?", Sam asked her.
"Not in the slightest but considering my drawing of a tree that led us to the Nemeton, I should probably figure out what it means before it tries to kill us.", she says, making Sam look at her in disbelief. "Uh, please do that.", Sam says, uncomfortable.
"Maybe it's like the Enigma Code the Allies used.", Kira chimed in as they looked at her in confusion. "Remember, my dad was a World War II buff and my mom was, well, in it."
"I think this is a variation on something called the Vigenere Cipher."
"Do you know how to crack it?", Sam asked Lydia.
"With a key.", she replied just as her mom walked up and held out a set of keys.
"Remember the rules, no more than six people allowed in the lake house, stay out of the wine and if anything gets broken, it's getting added to your credit card debt."
"Fine." Lydia agreed, going to grab the keys but her mom quickly pulled them away.
"And lock up the basement, from all the scratch marks I found on the walls it looked like a pack of wild animals got down there."
Sam hid a smile as Lydia was handed the keys.
The girls shared a look as Lydia's mom walked away. Sam snorted at them before getting up and walking to her locker. On the way, she could hear Scott and Stiles once again talking to Liam so she walked over to them.
"The bite…the bite is a gift.", Scott tried using Derek's words, making her chuckle softly.
"Scott, stop, please stop.", Stiles fussed, walking over to Scott and pointed at Liam. "You, you– we're trying to help you, you little runt."
"By kidnapping?", Liam replied. "Which again was a bad idea from the start.", Sam says, leaning on the lockers and making them acknowledge her.
"Liam, we've gone through this before.", Scott said, nodding at her before turning back at the boy. "Something's happening to you, something big."
"Nothing's happening to me!", Liam exclaimed, then held up his arm and ripped his bandage off to reveal his unbitten skin. "Nothing!"
He walked away from the trio, leaving Scott, Stiles and Sam to share a knowing look. The bite already kicked in.
They quickly called a small pack meeting in-between a couple of buses and met up with Lydia, Malia and Kira.
"I'm not sharing my basement.", Malia refused.
"Actually it's my basement.", Lydia corrected. "And my mom noticed how you tore it up last time."
"Alright, she's still learning.", Stiles defended.
"But we're going to use the boat house for Liam, it's got support beams we can chain him to one of them.", Scott said.
"But how are we going to get him to the lake house if he doesn't trust us?", Kira asked.
"I'd say if it keeps him from murdering someone, we just chloroform the little bastard and throw him in the lake.", Stiles replied as Malia agreed and Sam looked at both of them in disbelief. "We are not killing him!", she exclaimed before turning to Scott. "Or kidnapping him again."
"Then let's be smarter, we tell him there's a party and invite him.", Lydia suggested.
"So you're going to ask out a freshman?", Stiles asked her.
"Oh, no, I'm done with teenage boys.", Lydia replied. Stiles turned to Sam. "Don't even look over here. It's not happening.", Sam says, shaking her head.
They smiled at Kira as she looked around, noticing their eyes on her.
"Who, me?", she asked. "No way, not me."
"Yes you. You know what they call a female fox?", Lydia replied, smiling at her. "A vixen."
"Me?", Kira repeated in disbelief.
"You can do it Kira, be a vixen.", Lydia encouraged as they all grinned at her.
After school, Sam told Stiles she was gonna check up on Derek before heading to the lake house. Just as she walked in, Peter fell to the ground grunting in pain.
Sam hid a smile while Derek helped him stand. "He said he was after you.", Peter told his nephew and Sam raised an eyebrow.
"How does a guy with no mouth say anything?", Derek asked him before she could.
"With this.", Peter replied holding up some sort of glove.
"What are you two talking about?", she asked. "I was stabbed with a tomahawk by a guy with no mouth.", Peter clarified. Sam's eyebrows furrowed.
"Wait, is this the same guy who killed Sean and his family?", Sam asked.
"Seems like it.", Derek replied, looking at the glove.
"And now he's after you.", she sighs and rubbed her face as Peter got dressed and left.
"This just adds more shit to our pile.", she muttered, walking over to the table and looking down at the axe that sat on the table.
"I wouldn't touch that.", Derek warned. Sam held her hands up in surrender. "I wasn't gonna touch it.", she scoffed.
He raised an eyebrow as he walked over to her. "Okay, I was curious. But I wasn't gonna touch it.", she said and leaned against the table.
"We have to figure out who the guy is. Who attacked Peter, and why's he after me. So we need to go see the Sheriff.", Derek said. "Why the Sheriff?", she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"He was already looking into this guy and asked me to help when that Sean kid was killed on the roof of the hospital." Sam raised her eyebrows as he raised one in return. "You wouldn't know anything about that, would you?", he asked.
Sam shook her head. "Why?", she asked. He tilted his head, crossing his arms while giving her a knowing look. "I smelled Scott which means Scott was up there and you left to go see him. Something happened. Fess up."
"Scott gave me a rundown of what happened, and there was someone else up there but it's not my place to tell.", Sam says, shrinking.
"What happened?"
"Can't tell you.", she grimaced. Derek let out a sigh and rolled his eyes as he grabbed his keys. "Let's go.", he said. They got in his car and headed to the Sheriff's station to show Mr. Stilinski the glove and told him about the guy with no mouth that nearly killed Peter.
"I still don't get how this guy has no mouth.", Sheriff said as he picked up the glove Derek had put on his table. "I mean how can he eat?"
Derek looked up, blinking. "Peter didn't get a chance to ask, he was fighting him off with a tomahawk buried in his chest.", Derek replied, sarcastically. Sam snickered as the sheriff casually ignores his sarcasm.
"Yeah and who goes around with a tomahawk?", Sheriff asked them just as Parrish walked in.
"I carried one for IED removal in Afghanistan.", he said. "It's military and so is that.", he pointed at the glove. "Do you know what it's used for?", Derek asked him.
"Well this one looks like it's been modified.", Parrish replied. The Sheriff looked at Sam and Derek as he went and closed the door again before turning back to Parrish.
"Show us.", he asked Parrish.
Parrish started logging onto a computer trying to pick up an IP address while they all waited. "Okay I think I got an IP address.", Parrish said after a little while of digging.
"That means we can find him right?", the Sheriff asked and stepped forwards to look at the screen.
"Definitely, especially if…" Parrish was cut off then the glove moved its fingers, making Sam back up.
"What was that?", Derek and Sam asked in unison.
"I think I found a message." Parrish announced when he looked back at the screen "Does anyone recognize the handle 'Benefactor'?"
"Money transferred.", Derek said. "What does that mean?"
"That means this guy is not just a killer, he's an assassin.", the sheriff said.
"Great…", Sam muttered. They found out the IP address was coming from the school's Wi-Fi so they quickly rushed over there.
As they walked in, Sam immediately closed her eyes, as she sensed for another body. There was something here.
The sheriff was holding a flashlight and his gun up scanning the hallway.
"You know just because this guy connected to the school's Wi-Fi, doesn't mean he's still here.", Derek said, dragging her along. "There is something here, though.", Sam muttered.
"True but I've seen enough of this school to keep a gun in my hand when walking in after dark.", the sheriff said.
Sam was glad she wasn't the only paranoid one.
"Like blood…" Derek and Sam looked over and the Sheriff immediately pointed his light at a pool of blood under a door.
"That doesn't make any sense.", Derek said as the Sheriff turned around scanning the hallways.
"Yeah no kidding.", the sheriff said.
"No, that's not what I mean. I should have caught the scent before we walked in.", Derek cleared, walking up to the door. Derek went to open the door but the Sheriff stopped him.
"Hold on.", he whispered. "You being nervous makes me nervous.", the Sheriff said before looking through the window on the door before slowly opening the door an inch.
Derek looked inside when he saw a wire attached to the handle. Sam caught onto his line of sight and their eyes widened. Derek and Sam looked down at the contraption that connected the wire to the handle.
Shit.
"It's an explosive. A claymore.", Derek said and turned his head. "Get down!", he yelled, grabbing the Sheriff and Sam just narrowly dodging the tomahawk that was thrown at them by the guy with no mouth.
They started fighting, dodging the tomahawks in his hands, and the Sheriff was knocked to the ground. Derek got the upper hand, holding the assassin's arms behind his back while the Sheriff was quick to pull his gun out.
"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be held against you in the court of law, you have the right to an attorney, if you can afford one–" the sheriff read his rights coming behind him with handcuffs but Derek saw Peter running at them.
"No. Peter, no!", Derek yelled, pulling the Sheriff and Sam out of the way as Peter started attacking the assassin, completely clawing out his throat. The three were morbidly shocked as Peter dropped the mute's vocal cord. The Sheriff pointed his gun at Peter as he stood up and wiped his claws.
They all stood up and watched Peter shake his head at the Sheriff, giving him a knowing smile before walking away. "We've learned a better way.", Derek growled out at his uncle.
"I'm a creature of habit.", Peter said, nonchalantly walking out as the Sheriff lowered the gun in relief.
Sam sighed, turning away from the sight and shaking her head. "I hate him. Have I mentioned I hate him?"
Derek sighed and shook his own head. They couldn't even get an answer out of the guy. Derek took her back to his place and she set her shoes by the door before she went to sit on the couch.
They thought they'd seen some pretty gruesome shit before but Peter was way out of line.
Derek glanced at her from where he stood. "You okay?"
"Other than nearly having my head chopped off by a psychopath with tomahawks and nearly getting killed by your equally insane uncle once again, I'm peachy.", she gave him a short smile. He sighed and sat next to her.
"You hungry?", he suddenly asked. She looked at him in disbelief. "You're gonna ask me that shit after what we just saw?"
He shrugged with wide eyes. "It's a reasonable question to ask. Did you or did you not have your necessities today?", he asked.
Sam sighed. "Derek, I don't even have an appetite. If anything, I'm tired."
He sighed again. "I'm sorry.", he apologized. Sam shrugged and slid over to lean on his arm. He moved his arm to wrap around her shoulders.
"You can't apologize for his actions. I'm just kinda glad the psychotic trait doesn't run in the family.", Sam says, making Derek's chest rumble with a chuckle.
"Yeah, well, you'd probably just kick my ass if I did end up like him.", he says. She turned to him, amused. "You think I could?"
He shrugged. "I mean, the impossible is apparently possible, so maybe you have a chance."
She lets out a chuckle, leaning back into his chest. "You're an ass.", she muttered, making him huff in amusement. "Just saying.", he responds.
They stayed like that for a moment before she got sleepy. Before she could get up to leave, he sensed her fatigue and picked her up, carrying her over to his bed.
Not bothering to argue with him, Sam laid down, watching him go to his side and lay down next to her and pulled her close. "Go to sleep.", he said, nuzzling his chin above her head. He didn't have to say more as she let her eyes shut close for the night.
The next day turned out more complicated than it needed to be.
Lydia cracked the key for the code and it turned out it was a dead pool with their names on it. These killings that had already been happening were just getting started.
Scott, Stiles and Sam were standing in the Sheriff's office showing him the list. She frowned as she looked at it. Scott, Lydia, Kira, Derek and Sam were all on the list but it didn't make any sense.
"It's a dead pool.", Scott said, snapping her out of her thoughts. "A list for supernatural creatures, this is only part of it, the rest still has to be decoded." The Sheriff sighed as he started looking down the list and she looked at it again.
Sean Walcott 250
David Walcott 250
Michael Walcott 250
Christina Walcott 250
Lydia Martin 20
Scott McCall 25
Samantha Wilson 26
Demarco Montana 250
Derek Hale 15
Carrie Hudson 500
Kayleen Bettcher 250
Kira Yukimura 3
Elias Town 250
"Who found this list?", the Sheriff asked.
"Lydia.", Stiles replied.
"How?", he asked, rubbing his forehead.
"She wrote it. Actually, she transcribed it without realizing it.", Stiles said and his dad nodded.
"Banshee?"
"Banshee.", Stiles nodded, happy his dad was understanding now.
"Beautiful, alright, what are these numbers next to the names?", the Sheriff asked them.
"We're getting to that. First you need to know that the code was broken with a cipher key.", Stiles explained.
"Wait, you mean like a, like a keyword?"
"It was actually a name."
"Allison.", Scott mumbled sadly and Sam rubbed his shoulder. "Her name broke a third of the list.", Stiles said softly.
"And we think there's two other cipher keys.", Sam says.
"Which will give us the rest of the names…" The Sheriff nodded. "Okay, so how do we get the cipher keys?"
"Same way we got the code.", Stiles replied.
"Lydia." Scott and Sam said in unison. "She's been at the lake house all weekend trying to find the other two key words.", Scott said.
"You didn't know about Demarco or Carrie?", the Sheriff asked them. Sam shook her head.
"And what about these other two names on the list, uh Kayleen Bettcher and Elias Town, they're werewolves too?"
"We actually don't know.", Sam replied looking at Scott who nodded.
"But Deaton said the Nemeton would draw supernatural creatures here.", Scott said.
"Here being Beacon Hills or Beacon County, the population of Beacon Hills is just under 30,000 citizens.", the sheriff said.
"And dropping.", Stiles mumbled, making her frown at him.
"But if we're talking Beacon County then you're looking at close to 500,000. Look, how many werewolves, banshees, kitsunes and whatever the hell else is out there are we talking about?", Sheriff Stilinski asked. "And what happens if the next cipher key uncovers not thirteen names but a hundred?"
"We don't think there would be that many, there's a limit.", Stiles said.
"Because of the numbers, we think that once we decode the names the numbers will add up to a hundred seventeen." Scott added.
"A hundred seventeen what?"
"Million.", Sam said, looking at the list again. Stiles grabbed a pen and the list and started writing letters next to the names.
Sean Walcott 250 K
David Walcott 250 K
Michael Walcott 250 K
Christina Walcott 250 K
Lydia Martin 20 M
Scott McCall 25 M
Samantha Wilson 26 M
Demarco Montana 250 K
Derek Hale 15 M
Carrie Hudson 500 K
Kayleen Bettcher 250 K
Kira Yukimura 3 M
Elias Town 250 K
"One hundred and seventeen million dollars, dad.", Stiles said when he finished.
"Which was stolen from the Hale vault.", Sam muttered.
"And is being used by someone to finance all these murders.", Stiles added.
"Somebody who wants every supernatural creature in Beacon Hills dead.", Scott said.
"So the coded list goes out and somehow these professional assassins get that list-"
"And the cipher key", Stiles cut his dad off.
"And then they go after the names on the list, they being killers with no mouths, tomahawks, thermo-cut wires that can take your head off.", his dad finished.
"Let me see this.", Stiles said looking at the photos from Carrie Hudson's murder. "Carrie was also stabbed, what's this mark?" He pointed at the mark around the stab wound on the picture.
"We're not sure yet, we're waiting on the ME's report, there's one other thing I don't get, how did the new assassin know that Demarco was going to be at the lake house?"
"Everyone knows he delivers kegs to teenagers for a little extra cash.", Scott replied.
"Ah, so you ever ordered that keg to kill Demarco?"
"Yeah, it was someone at the party.", Stiles answered.
"A student.", Scott said.
After figuring out the numbers, they went to school. Well, they, being Sam and Derek who hid in the locker room so he could see who Liam was.
He hadn't said a word the moment they got there.
"Are you mad at me?", Sam asked Derek, who looked at her in confusion.
"What would I need to be mad at you for?", Derek asked, leaning on a row of lockers across from her, twisting a lacrosse stick in his hand.
"I didn't tell you that Liam was there. At the hospital. Scott took him because he bit him.", Sam says and he smiled a bit.
"Like you said, it wasn't my place to know. I can't be mad at that.", he said. He looked down at the floor. "If there's anything I learned about you, it's that you're loyal. I respect that. I ad–"
He stopped as they heard Liam approaching. They glanced at each other before Derek led Sam to the sound of Liam's frustration. Derek smirked and dragged the tip of the lacrosse stick he held along the lockers which caught Liam's attention.
His blue eyes angrily stared at them.
"Is this yours?", Derek asked him, twirling the stick in his hands before snapping the pole in half and throwing the pieces at Liam's feet.
They could hear Liam's soft growls and huffs as he looked up with glowing gold eyes. Liam charged at Derek but Derek easily grabbed his neck and pinned him against the lockers as Liam started snapping his teeth at him, but stopped as they heard Scott.
"Liam.", Scott's soft voice rang out through the room. Liam gradually calmed down enough as Scott walked over to them.
"You're right, he is angry.", Derek said, amused before dropping Liam who huffed.
"This one's yours.", Scott said holding up Liam's lacrosse stick then threw it at him. Liam turned to them still with a glare as the bell rang. "Get to class Liam.", Scott said.
Liam glared at Derek, only for him to raise his eyebrows at the boy before Liam finally left. Sam looked up as Derek started smiling and so did Scott who looked at him in confusion. "What are you smiling about?", Scott asked him.
"You're gonna be good at this.", Derek said, proudly.
"Are you kidding?", Scott scoffed. "I am totally unprepared, remember how you said you could teach me a few things? I think right now I could use a full-on training manual."
Sam chuckled, walking over to give Scott a hug.
"I'll tell you one thing. That anger he's got, it'll make him strong.", Derek replied.
"And dangerous.", Scott added.
"Very.", Derek agreed. Scott sighed and sat down.
"This was supposed to be the semester where we could focus on school again." Derek sat down beside him. "But Kate's back and now I've got a Beta and there's a dead pool."
"If all our names are on that list, then that's what we should be focusing on.", Derek said and shook his head. "Do you think Lydia can get that second key?"
"She's working on it.", Scott replied, standing up and leaving. Sam frowned as she watched him leave. He was worried. All of them were.
Derek stayed silent. "What're you thinking?", Sam asked. He looked at her in disbelief. "You're worth twenty six million dollars. You, of all people, are worth more than the rest of us."
She shrugged. "I don't even know how or why, but I guess.", she says and he shakes his head at her.
"You're not worried about this?", he asked. She sat down next to him. "Of course I'm worried. But we're all sticking together. That's my push. That's my reason for staying alive.", she says, smiling at him. "I'm sick of my friends dying on me. I'm sick of seeing you in danger, especially when I'm not there to help like I said I would.", she tells him and he frowns.
"I'm not letting it happen again.", she declared. He stares at her for a moment before sighing.
"Sam–", he gets cut off by the second class bell. "You should go to class. You're late."
"I don't care about class.", she argued with a scoff. He smiles. "You should. We'll… we'll talk later, yeah?"
She sighed and got up. "Okay."
"Wilson, you're six minutes late.", Coach said as Sam walked in and sat behind Scott. "Sorry, coach.", she says, unapologetically. Sam looked over at Stiles and saw his head down, looking at the murder photos of Carrie, making her grimace.
"Economic disparity exists in all forms," Coach started. "Well, take sports for example. Some teams have better training…"
She frowned and softly tapped at her desk. Who's doing these requests of kills….
Why were they specific people? Some of the people on the Deadpool she hadn't even heard of. She understood Derek and Scott. Lydia wasn't even on there even though she's a banshee. Why specifically them, including Kira who wasn't werewolf…?
Sam jumped out of her thoughts as Coach slammed the lacrosse stick he was holding on Stiles' desk, making him jump as well.
"You know, Stilinski," Coach bent down and picked up one of the photos to look at. "If I could grade you on how profoundly you disturb me, you'd be an A+ student."
"Thanks Coach…", Stiles replied.
"Put those pictures away.", Coach said, hitting his desk again with the lacrosse stick and pulled away but Stiles suddenly grabbed the end and pulled it towards him then pulled off the soft cap on the end of the stick.
"What the hell are you doing…?", Sam whispered.
"Stilinski." Stiles started looking back and forth between the photos and the end of the stick.
"What the hell is wrong with you?", Coach exclaimed in confusion as Stiles was still holding the lacrosse stick before he finally yanked it out of the boy's hand. "Don't answer that.", Coach said before walking away.
Scott and Sam both looked at him confused but the look on Stiles' face made them frown in worry.
"It's a lacrosse player.", Stiles said.
"The killer's on the team.", Scott said in realization.
After class, they all went into the locker room and gathered everyone's lacrosse sticks and checked every single one, pulling the soft caps off looking for one with a blade in it.
It was kinda stupid, considering if the killer was smart, he wouldn't leave the stick lying around.
"Maybe instead of trying to find a lacrosse stick with a hidden dagger in it, we should be trying to get the game cancelled.", Kira suggested.
"The game is the best way to catch him red-handed.", Scott replied.
"But what if he's red-handed 'cause his hands are covered in the blood of the person that he just stabbed to death.", Stiles said. "Which, by the way could be either of you guys.", he said pointing at Scott, Kira and Sam.
"Or Liam.", Scott said. "Well, we don't have the whole list and he could be on it."
"We don't know anything about the list. How it's made, or how it's updated.", Sam says.
"Exactly. Who's been out taking a supernatural census anyway?", Stiles asked.
"How do they even know about me?", Kira asked. "Exactly.", Sam says. It was ridiculous.
"They know about everyone.", Scott replied.
"Alright I think Kira's right, I think we should stop the game.", Stiles said. "I'm not afraid.", Scott said as he looked at Kira. "Neither am I.", she agreed.
"Well I'm terrified and I'm not even on the list.", Stiles exclaimed. "Guys, these are professional killers! It's their profession. One of them's got a thermo-cut wire that cuts heads off, who knows what else they have?"
"I kinda agree with Stiles.", Sam says, making Stiles do a little fist pump.
After their discussion, Sam met up with Malia and Lydia.
Sam had asked her if she figured out the key to the code but that was a bust. They told her they had tried going to talk to Meredith Walker.
"Eichen House says Meredith can't have visitors without permission from a family member.", Lydia said as they walked down the hall.
"That's not going to be easy since her whole family is dead.", Malia said.
"Welp.", Sam says. This was definitely a bust.
"Okay, maybe we can go back to the art room or music room?", Malia suggested looking at Lydia.
"I'm not plucking piano strings for two hours waiting for some supernatural inspiration.", Lydia argued.
"Fine, what else do banshees do?", Malia asked her.
"You think I know?", Lydia asked, incredulously. "I can't just turn this on. I'm not like you guys, I don't have claws or glowing eyes or super senses, I just have voices in my head." Lydia went on to explain and they noticed a few students had stopped and stared as Lydia walked away down the hallway.
Now, she definitely looked like a nut job.
Sam left Malia to follow Lydia and ran into Scott and Stiles who was watching Liam talk amongst a few Davenport Prep lacrosse players who had showed up for the upcoming game.
"I just wanted to say…have a good game." She heard Liam say as he held out his hand towards a kid he called Brett, who just laughed.
"That's cute Liam, is that what they told you to say in Anger Management?" She frowned.
"Apologize and everything's fine? You demolished Coach's car.", Brett said.
"I paid for it.", Liam replied. She could tell this was gonna get bad. She stepped up in front of the boys as they looked at her in confusion.
"Yeah you're going to pay for it.", Brett said. "We're gonna break you in half out there and it's gonna be all your fault."
Sam glanced at Liam's balled fists as droplets of blood dripping between his fingers and she rushed to him, Scott and Stiles following in suit. Scott and Sam pulled Liam back as Stiles talked to Brett. Sam rubbed Liam's back as he continued huffing.
"Hey, what's going on prep students? Welcome to our little public high school, how you doing?", Stiles introduced, holding out his hand to Brett. "Stiles." Brett didn't return the hospitality.
"That's a firm handshake you got there, uh, we're very excited for scrimmage tonight, uh, but let's keep it clean all right, no rough stuff out there. Alright, see you on the field." Stiles turned, pushing his friends toward the school. "Go."
They quickly pulled Liam away and into the boys locker room, getting him underneath the showerhead as he started changing and growling at them so they turned on the tap on with freezing water while Scott and Sam held him underneath it.
"Okay, you calm yet?", Stiles asked him but he roared at them. His fangs stuck out threateningly so they pushed him back under.
"Okay, okay!", Liam said, panting as they let him go. Stiles turned off the water while Liam leaned against the shower wall before sliding down to sit on the wet floor.
"That car you smashed, I thought you said it was your teachers?", Scott asked him.
"He was also my Coach, he benched me for the entire season."
"What did you do?", Sam asked him.
"I got a couple red cards.", Liam replied, shamefully.
"Just a couple?", Stiles asked but Liam didn't answer so Scott crouched down to his height.
"You gotta be honest with us, what else happened?"
"Nothing.", Liam said. "I got kicked out of school, they sent me to a psychologist for evaluation."
"What did they call it?", Scott asked him.
"Intermittent Explosive Disorder", Liam replied. Sam's eyebrows raised at the information. It kinda made sense as to why he was cocky. He wasn't cocky, he was proud of himself.
"I.E.D, you're literally an I.E.D. That's great, that's – Scott, you gave superpowers to a walking time bomb.", Stiles says, sarcastically giving Scott a thumbs up.
"Stiles, stop it.", Sam scolded.
"Did they give you anything for it?", Scott asked Liam.
"Risperdal, it's an antipsychotic.", Liam informed.
"Oh this just gets better."
"Stiles.", Sam hissed.
"But I don't take it.", Liam said.
"Obviously.", Stiles replied with a smile. Sam slapped his arm. "Okay, okay.", he said.
"I can't play lacrosse on it, it makes me too tired.", Liam told them.
"Okay, I think you should bail out of the game, tell Coach your leg is still hurting.", Scott replied. Liam's eyes got wide as he stood. "No, no! I can do this, especially if you're there."
"But Liam, it's not just about the game.", Scott quickly glanced at Sam and Stiles. "We think whoever killed Demarco might be on our team."
"Who's Demarco?", Liam asked in confusion.
"The one who brought the beer to the party, the guy who was beheaded, remember?", Stiles replied.
"We think the person who ordered the keg killed Demarco.", Scott said and Liam looked down.
"What's the matter? Do you know something?", Sam asked.
"I don't know who ordered the keg…but I know who paid for it.", he said.
"Who?", Sam asked him.
"Garret, he's a freshman.", Liam told them. Stiles, Scott and Sam shared a look.

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Chapter 58: Remember Me
As Stiles and Sam walked to the school's lacrosse field, Sam couldn't shake the feeling of the previous day out of her nerves.
She wasn't scared. Hell, she just wasn't sure she could do that. The moment she got home, she passed out.
Guess she still had a lot to learn about her new appearing abilities. She was still getting used to expanding her already inherited ones.
"You sure you're okay?", she hears Stiles speak up. She gave him a small smile. "Pretty sure."
Stiles frowned. He wasn't sure himself. He was still freaked out. That was the third time he had gotten a gun pulled out on him. He was kinda getting tired of it.
"So, Ghost Riders, huh?", Sam said, trying to erase her memory from almost getting shot once more.
"Uh, yeah, Lydia said they were supposed to be a myth and now, all of a sudden, they're real.", Stiles explained.
"Sucks I can't make them vanish altogether.", Sam muttered. "I know right?", Stiles joked.
Scott walked up to them after Lacrosse practice. "Scott. Hey. Hey. It's called the Wild Hunt.", Stiles explained. "It's a myth. Only, apparently it's real. Like every other myth in this town that should just really remain a nightmare."
"The guy on the horse?", Scott asked.
"Yeah, they call them Ghost Riders.", Sam said.
Stiles glanced over, seeing a group of boys wearing their Lacrosse jerseys and heading to the field. One of them was wearing a recognizable jersey. "Hang on one second. Hey!", Stiles called out to the boy. "That's my jersey. Where'd you get that?"
"Coach gave it to me at practice.", the boy replied before following his friends to the field.
"Oh, yeah… coach was redoing positions. I forgot…", Sam grimaced.
"We had practice?", Stiles looked at Sam and Scott in disbelief. "Why doesn't anyone tell me anything?"
Scott switched subjects. "Why would the Ghost Riders want to take Alex's parents?"
"Because that's what they do. They take people, okay? They run around collecting souls. And once they take you, you're gone.", Stiles explained. "But it's not just you, it's everything about you."
"Everything about Alex…", Sam muttered. She couldn't imagine being gone from everyone. Having her whole life being taken away from people's memories. Her history. It had to be hard.
"Does that mean Alex is next?" Scott asked. Stiles gave a nod.
"And once he's gone, we won't remember him…", Sam said.
With that, they headed to the only place they knew the boy would be safe.
They made it to the station, immediately running up to Deputy Clark, who let them inside.
Once they got to the cell that Alex was supposed to be in, they found it to be empty. The trio frowned and Stiles rushed to Clark. "Where's the kid? What happened to him?"
She looked at him in confusion. "What kid?"
"Alex." Stiles stated. "The kid from the car wreck? The kid whose parents went missing last night?"
"Who's Alex?"
Stiles raised his eyebrows giving her a stern look, but it didn't sway her. "Clark, listen to me. He was here, okay? You met him."
She wasn't convinced.
Sam and Scott moved up next to him. "It's already starting."
"Where's the Sheriff?" Scott asked.
"He got called out to the high school. They found a body.", Clark explained. "No one's been in lock-up all day. Check for yourself."
She handed Stiles the list.
Stiles scanned the list, not seeing the boy's name at all. "He's not on here…" He blinked in disappointment. "They took him."
Scott looked disappointed as well. "I shouldn't have left him alone."
"He knew they were coming for him.", Stiles muttered, frustrated. "What if they're coming back for everyone else who was on that road?" Scott asked which made Stiles turn to him.
"Then we already know who's next."
"That'd be Liam and Hayden.", Sam said.
The trio split up, and Stiles headed to the school.
But before Sam left the station's area, she stared at the retreating Jeep, a sense of dread prickling in the back of her mind.
What the hell was happening tonight?
She sat in her car, taking a few deep breaths before texting Scott.
You going with him? - Sam
The next text made her eyebrows furrow.
With who? - Scott
Uh, Stiles? Who else? - Sam
Sam's eyes widened at the next text before she headed off to the school.
Stiles, however, made it to the school, inspecting the scene and accidentally bumped into Mrs. Martin as he looked around.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!"
"S-Sorry.", Stiles apologized.
"Slow it down."
"Sorry. Ms. Martin, sorry." He cleared his throat. "Hey, have you seen, uh, Liam and Hayden? Actually, forget that. Have you seen my dad?"
She knitted her brows together. "Who?"
"My dad. He's here because of the body?"
She shook her head, huffing and whispered. "How do you know about the body?"
"Because my dad's the Sheriff. Ms. Martin, are you okay?", Stiles asked.
Natalie glanced over, seeing the body on the gurney and nodded at Stiles. "Uh, just wait here."
She left, and he watched her in confusion before taking off and ran down the hall to look for Liam and Hayden. When he finally caught Mason, he couldn't help but feel relieved. Why was he relieved?
That meant he and the other two were okay. They weren't in any danger. "Mason, Mason, hey, where's Liam?", he asked.
"Liam?" Stiles looked down the hall that was behind Mason and seen him and Hayden. "Okay, there you go. Liam, Hayden, perfect."
Stiles rushed. "You two, you two have to listen to me right now. Alex is gone, just like his parents, okay? The Ghost Riders took him, so you guys, you can't be alone. You got to stick with Scott or with me because I can see them." The trio looked at him in confusion.
"Why the hell are you lookin' at me like that?", Stiles asked.
Hayden leaned into Liam's ear, loudly whispering. "Do we even know him?"
"I don't even know if he goes here." Liam whispered back to her before looking at Stiles.
Dread and realization loomed over Stiles as he slowly started piecing everything together.
"Do you go to this school?", Mason asked.
"What's your name?", Liam asked.
A memory of Stiles showing Sam and Malia his picture form and how they said that it was blank even though he knows he filled it out the day before.
The next clue only confirmed it when the kid was wearing his Lacrosse jersey and how he said that Coach Finstock gave it to him during practice.
However, relief filled the Stilinski boy once more as he saw his dad, he took off running to him.
Sheriff put out his hand which made him stop in his tracks. "Son, you okay?"
Stiles took in a breath of fresh air. "Oh, thank God." He hugged his dad tightly. "Thank God."
He pulled back, calming himself down. "Okay. Everyone's forgetting.", Stiles rushed, his anxiety moving through his throat. "Everyone is forgetting everything."
"Okay, okay, slow down, slow down." Sheriff said, calmly. "We'll figure this out together."
Stiles nodded, sniffling. "Okay."
"Now, why don't you tell me your name?" The sheriff said, instantly making the boy's eyes widen.
Stiles let his father go, backing up as his heart dropped.
He walked around the man, and pulled out his phone, dialing Scott as he breathed heavily. The line rang then picked up. "Scott?", Stiles answered, shakily.
"Hey.", Scott replied. Stiles almost let out a relief breath.
"Scott, where are you? Where are you right now?", Stiles asked.
Scott was quiet until he replied. "Who's this?"
Stiles dropped his phone from his ear, ending up the call. His mind clicked back to him talking to Clark and her having no clue who Alex was. It all made sense now. "It's me… I'm next."
He looked around, his breaths coming out in panic.
His eyes widened and he jumped as his eyes landed on his phone that vibrated on the floor.
He picked up the phone, his heart ticking with hope and disappointment.
It was Sam. Did… did she remember him? Her, at least. Please…
He picked up by the third ring and his heart settled as he heard an "Oh, thank God."
"Sam…?", Stiles replied.
"Hey, you okay? I have no idea what the hell is happening. Scott… Scott says he doesn't know you. Why is he forgetting you?I thought it Liam and Hayden that were supposed to be next.", Sam rushed.
Stiles couldn't even respond. He thought so too.
"Forget that. You're still at the school right?", she asked. He cleared his throat. "Y-Yeah."
"Alright. I'm coming to you then.", she said. "D-Don't hang up!", Stiles exclaimed fearfully before quieting down. "Please…", he begged softly.
"I won't. I'm on my way. Not too far now.", Sam promised.
Sam arrived at the school, instantly parking and running inside past people to get to a distraught Stiles. She brought him into a tight hug and he reciprocated just as tight.
"You know me. You still know me…", Stiles mumbled in the hold.
She pulled him into an empty classroom and they sat against the wall.
Sam showed Stiles the text Scott sent her.
Who the hell's Stiles? - Scott
Stiles' mouth opened and closed like a codfish. He gave her phone back, taking in his fate. They were sitting in silence but he only had so little time.
"I'm gonna be erased. Just like Alex. You're gonna forget me."
He looked at Sam, who's eyes bubbled with tears at the thought.
She shook her head. "I'm not." Stiles wished that was the case. He hoped. "You are.", he said. Sam looked at him angrily. "I'm not.", she determined sternly. She wasn't angry at him. He knew that.
She was angry because she knew where this was going. She was angry because she was scared.
The angered expression washed away with a sob. "I don't want to. I can't–" Her breaths picked up. "I don't wanna be alone."
He smiled tearfully. "You're not gonna be alone, though."
"Stiles, you don't understand.", she sniffled. "I'm going to forget everything. You, Scott, Lydia, everyone.", she emphasized.
His eyes widened in realization. Lydia…
A shaky sob exited her throat. "I only met everyone because I knew you. Me and Scott won't know each other. I can't go through that again. I don't want that–!", she exclaimed and he quickly brought her in another tight hug.
He hadn't thought about it like that. He was leaving her alone. By having him in here memories, he was erasing everyone else as well.
It was fucked up.
"No matter what, you try to remember. Just try to find some way to remember me, okay?", he muttered.
Like a little kid, Sam sobbed in his arms and Stiles could only swallow his own tears back. "You'll remember me. You will.", Stiles determined before giving her a kiss on her forehead as he rocked her. "I love you, kid. I'll come back. Just remember me."
"Stiles, no-!", Sam cried as he started to move away from her. His time was running out. The person he truly loved was gonna forget him and he didn't want that.
Not without saying what he needed to at least.
He pulled away from her, prying her curled fingers from his jacket, his heart breaking from her cries and begging to stay.
She was going to forget him. She wouldn't remember all this crying anyways.
He let her go as he ran off to find Lydia.
Sam clutched at her jacket letting out sniffles and shaky breaths as she watched him leave. Within minutes, the wind outside picked up as a storm started.
After it stopped, she got up, ran out of the school, and into the parking lot where she saw a distraught, and tearful Lydia.
No Stiles.
Lydia caught Sam and she let out a sob of her own. Sam didn't have to say anything. Neither did Lydia.
She walked up to the girl and brought her in a hug as they cried together.
After a moment, Sam let Lydia go after her mom and Sam rushed home, making sure to write Stiles name on everything she could think of.
She wrote it in her notebooks, on the fridge dry-erase board, with a marker on her mirror on every single piece of paper she could find.
She behaved like a girl obsessed with her crush, making sure his name was embedded in her memories.
She finally settled on the floor of her bedroom, looking over the pictures the trio took and her bottom lip trembled as she saw every goofy picture.
Why wasn't there a thing she could do to stop this? Why him?
Her thumb hovered over his contact name and pressed it to see his familiar smile.
His picture seemed to be fading away. In fact… his whole contact seemed to be disappearing. Why…?
She, once again, for the last time of the night, cried herself to sleep.
Once she woke up, a booming headache pounded through her head as she got ready for school.
Instead of driving immediately after she had gotten ready, she sat in her car, instantly confused.
She didn't even know why she was confused. Nothing made sense.
Was she missing a certain day and she couldn't remember the event? Was she supposed to study for something and she couldn't remember what it was?
The confusion irritated her as she started up her car and drove to school.
Once she arrived and parked, she stepped up to the entrance, instantly feeling the same confusion once more.
But the confusion felt like nostalgia and she didn't know why.
What annoyed her more was the loudness of everything. Slamming lockers, popping gum, sneakers squeaking against the tile floors. Everything.
Was everything always this loud?
It was making her headache worse.
"Hey, you alright?", a boy came up to her. He was about the same height as her and had his friends following behind him.
She looked at him in confusion. Why was he talking to her?
He smiled, scratching the back of his neck. "Sorry, I assumed you were new. I'm Liam.", he introduced and introduced his friends. "This is Hayden and Mason."
The other two waved. "I'm… no, I'm not new. I'm just having an off day.", Sam explained but gave them a small smile anyways. "I'm Sam.", she introduced and followed them as they talked.
She learned that they were juniors. Liam was on the lacrosse team and was pretty good at it. Hayden was on the soccer team and Mason cheered for both on the sidelines.
The trio reminded her of…
Of…
She frowned.
Why did she keep getting feelings of nostalgia when she didn't have anyone to feel nostalgic over…?
The day ended with Sam staying after school in the library. She felt calmer as she studied since she didn't have anything else to do.
It was quiet at home, but not good quiet.
Eventually she did have to go home and headed out of the library. Once she did, she heard clopping.
A familiar sound.
Why was it a familiar sound?
She turned around in shock as she saw a man that held a whip. She stepped back, and felt someone grab her, pulling her away from the man as they ran down a hall and into a closet.
She recognized the person that pulled her away as Mason and another unfamiliar kid who turned the two invisible as the previous man they saw walked around.
Sam trembled in fright. It was creepy. It was weird. But why the hell did they turn invisible? How'd they know who that was? Who was that man? Why'd he have a whip?
What was he planning to do?
Once it was okay, the boy made them visible once more, him and Mason instantly kneeling in concern once Sam stumbled back, her panicked pants more audible.
Mason touched her shoulder. "Sam! Sam, you okay?"
"She doesn't look good.", the boy next to him said. "I think she needs to get to the hospital."
"Maybe she should go home instead, Corey.", Mason suggested. "You wanna go home?"
Sam slowly shook her head as her vision blurred.
Was she… was she about to pass out?
"I.. I want," she mumbled "I want.."
"Want?" Corey's head tilted. "What do you want?" Sam muttered quietly and Corey leaned in close, listening to her clearer. "Is she… Is she saying 'miles'?"
Mason listened in. "No, there's another S in it. Maybe, smiles. I dunno." Mason gave her a weak smile "Sam, do you want smiles?"
"St…", she huffed out a small breath, her eyes fluttering close. "St…"
She didn't say anything more before passing out. Mason and Corey panicked, and called Scott.
Scott got Liam and helped Sam into Liam's car, having them drive to Scott's place.
"She saw…"
"A man that kinda looked like a creepy cowboy and then she passed out. I couldn't just leave her there.", Mason explained.
Scott couldn't get mad. He probably wouldn't have either. He looked at the resting girl.
She looked familiar…
He couldn't understand why.
For now, he let the girl rest. He'd handle the questions after he got some sleep.
After a couple of hours, Sam opened her eyes to darkness. She felt a familiar terror of this sudden darkness. Where was she?
She jumped in fright as she heard a loud blaring of a train horn. She spun around trying to figure out where it was coming from.
After she heard the train once more, she woke up abruptly, sitting up quickly.
Her eyes squinted as she saw the sun outside a window. A window she… couldn't recognize.
She looked around and she was in an unfamiliar… room…
Where was she?
She looked to her left and saw a boy on the floor. She's seen him before. He hung around that ditzy Lydia Martin.
Why was she here? She remembered being at school. She remembered… hiding. Hiding from a man.
What the hell was happening…?
Scott opened his eyes and saw that Sam was looking around and sat up instantly. Sam jumped at his abrupt actions and frowned, suddenly feeling angry. "Why am I here…?"
Scott held out a hand. "Before you ask any questions, no I did not kidnap you and you're at my house. You're safe.", he reassured.
That only answered other questions she had, but it didn't answer why.
He picked up and showed her a picture. "Do you remember this?", he asked. She saw a picture of him, Lydia Martin and another girl sitting next to her.
They all had big smiles on their face and Sam held two bunny ears above Scott's head and another that seemed to be above someone else's head, but they weren't there.
Why not?
She looked at him in confusion. "I don't… I don't remember…", Sam muttered. She tried her best to remember.
Why couldn't she?
What was happening…?
"We're placed weirdly, right? Like there's supposed to be someone sitting right there.", he pointed at the vacant spot beside him in the picture.
Sam nodded in agreement. "There's no way I wouldn't have forgotten that I took a picture with you. But I don't know you, so… I don't know.", Scott said. He was just at a loss for words as Sam was. But they both knew.
Something was up.
There was another thing that was bothering Scott though… she smelled like a werewolf. It wasn't Liam's scent, so it couldn't be him.
He sighed and asked the question anyways. "Are you… could you… is there a way you could be… possibly… a werewolf…?", he asked.
The look on Sam's face told him everything he needed to know. She was confused as hell, and even more so, annoyed.
But she smelled familiar. Just like a werewolf.
He held his hands out. "Just, hear me out, okay? Have you been hearing things more than usual? Hearing things you shouldn't? Smelling things more potently?"
Now that Sam thought about it, her hearing was more enhanced. She could hear his heartbeat going a mile a minute.
She nodded. "But it's just my Hearing, though."
Scott smiled in relief. "That's all I needed to know. You're definitely a werewolf."
"But how? Don't you need to be bitten to be one?", Sam asked. Scott stopped his mini celebration short. She was right.
In fact, he doesn't even remember how he was a werewolf. He just knows about him, Liam, Corey, Malia and Lydia.
"You're right.", Scott said. Sam sat up straight. "There's no way we all just have collective amnesia."
She was right about that as well. But why…?
Why were they forgetting something? Who else were they forgetting? Who was supposed to be in that picture?

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Chapter 47: Beast of Gevaudan
The pack stood around Scott's kitchen. "My dad's got an APB out...", Stiles announced.
"For a 5'8" 16-year-old?", Kira asked.
"I recommended a nine-foot-tall rampaging werewolf," Stiles told her.
"It still might not be him.", Liam denied.
Sam frowned sadly, "Liam, you were there with us. It's gotta be him."
Liam looked down sadly. "But, Hayden's at the school looking."
"I can keep checking the woods," Malia suggested.
"My mom can check all the hospitals in the county," Scott said as he walked into the kitchen. "We can find him."
"What happens ?", Liam asked. "We figure out a way to save him.", Scott said.
Liam nodded. Lydia asked, "Okay, where else could we look?"
"Let's ask Corey.", Scott suggested. "And how do you suppose we do that?", Sam asked.
Scott slammed his hand on the cabinet, but instead of the cabinet, he grabbed Corey's shirt who suddenly appeared.
"Wait. Wait.", Corey defended himself. "It's not my fault. They took him and I couldn't do anything. They took him..."
Scott cut him off, "Who?"
"The Dread Doctors.", Corey replied.
With that, Scott, Sam and Liam met up with Theo.
"Where is he?", Scott asked Theo as he walked by his side. Liam stood beside Sam.
"I thought we were looking for him.", Theo replied. "You know who I'm talking about.", Scott said.
"Deucalion?", Theo asked.
"You don't need to be around Deucalion. You'll corrupt our trust with him.", Sam said.
"After the fact you guys let him live...", Theo replied.
“Because we trust him not to make any more mistakes. You, however, keep repeating the same cycle.”, Sam said, though, it was mainly because of Scott and Derek’s threat, but it was whatever.
"We're not murderers, Theo.", Scott told him. "That's not entirely true, Scott.", Theo said, frowning. "You still think you're gonna get through all this without killing anyone?"
"I didn't say that.", Scott replied. Liam and Sam paused and she glanced at Liam with a questioning look.
Liam nodded. "We're close."
"You get his scent?", Scott asked and Liam nodded. "Which way?", Theo asked him. Liam glanced at Scott and Sam Scott glanced at Theo.
Theo looked at all of them with furrowed eyebrows. "You think you're going to leave me behind?", Theo asked, incredulously.
Liam looked at Scott. "Liam...", Scott looked at Liam pleadingly.
Sam crossed her arms. “You can’t seriously think we can trust you after everything you’ve done?”
"Look, he wants to kill him," Liam refused.
He turned to her. "You want to fight someone that actually wants to kill Mason? Go fight Parrish."
"I just want his power.", Theo said. “That’s not happening either.”, Sam said.
"Who did you see when you put on the mask?", Liam asked him. "I already told you, it wasn't Mason.", Theo said.
"Who was it?", Liam raised his voice.
Theo looked at them. "I saw a man dying in the snow. He was impaled on a spear."
"That man you saw had to have been the original beast.”, Sam said. Scott nodded. "It's actually called a pike. Lydia told us the story." Scott explained.
"Then you guys know what it means," Theo said. "Time's running out." Theo turned to Liam. "Where is he, Liam? What direction?"
Liam looked at Scott who returned his look with hardened, impatient eyes. Liam sighed. "This way."
He led the older supernatural teens to a wooden door. Just as Liam was just about to grab it, Scott grabbed his shoulder, pausing him in place.
“He’s here.”, Sam said, confirming it.
Liam pulled the door open and they went inside and walked down the steps that led to a basement.
"Mason?", Liam whispered. They continued down the stairs and arrived at a room. They saw Mason was leaning against a huge capsule that had a body in it. The capsule was filled with a green liquid.
They quickly rushed to his side, only pausing as they noticed he had a huge cable sticking out of the back of his neck and connected to the big capsule.
"It's connected to him.", Scott stated, shocked. "What is this thing?", Liam asked. Theo frowned, "I don't know."
"Liam, I can feel it," Mason spoke up. "It's in my skull."
Shit.
"Don't move.", Liam told him. Liam looked over at Theo. "What are they doing to him?"
"I don't know.", Theo snapped. "Guys, let's focus." Scott said. "Mason, we're gonna get you out of here.", he reassured the underclassman.
Scott looked at his betas. "Hold him still."
Liam grabbed his shoulders and Sam grabbed his legs. "Okay. Alright. I'm going to try to pull it out.", Scott said, reaching for the cable. Mason started to pant in panic.
"Let me know if it hurts you.", Scott warned, grabbing the metallic cable and started pulling. They jumped at the sound of a crunch and Mason screamed in pain. Scott immediately let go.
Mason groaned in pain and yelled, "It hurts!" He let out a breath, quieting down some. "It definitely hurts."
Scott looked at them with wide eyes. "I barely moved it."
They paused at the sound of a click. Scott and Sam’s face shifted into fear as he looked behind Sam. She slowly turned her head and saw one of the Dread Doctors.
"They wanted us here," Theo said as Scott and Sam stood. They heard the clicking sound once more and saw another one appear by the staircase.
"Liam, try to get that thing out of Mason's neck.", Scott said, hurriedly. They heard hissing and turned their heads, to see the last one behind a wall.
The ring leader walked over to them and stood before them. "Theo... Theo Raeken.", the doctor said.
"He's coming with us.", Theo replied, making Liam frown at him. "Failure... Theo Raeken.", the doctor said. Theo’s face contorted in displeasure. "I'm not a failure."
"Not a complete failure.", the doctor replied. "We learned from you."
"You gonna let him talk to you like that?", Sam asked and Scott looked at her with disapproval before turning to Theo. "This is what they want," Scott said. "Don't give it to them. We can't beat them."
The Surgeon continued, "The mark of a true failure. Repeating the same mistake again and again."
Theo looked at Sam and Scott. "We're taking Mason." He shifted and looked back at the Surgeon. "I'm taking what's mine.", he growled.
"You have the entitlement and narcissism typical of your generation.", the surgeon told him. "In that, you are a profound success."
"So that just makes you better than him by kidnapping kids?", Sam countered. They all jumped at the sound of Mason’s sudden screams of pain. They turned to hear his skull cracking, slight despair washing over them.
Liam groaned angrily. "God! Scott! Scott, I...I can't get it out. I don't know what to do." Scott rushed to his side and Sam stood in front of them protectively.
"But your failure taught us one thing.", the doctor continued. "The banality of evil. That you were and would always be an ordinary evil."
Theo tilted his head a little. "You think I'm ordinary?", Theo asked him.
"We believed that we had to start with the perfect evil to resurrect the perfect killer." He said. They were using Theo... "From you, we learned true evil only comes by corrupting something truly good."
"Not something.", Sam muttered, and looked back at Mason. "Someone," Liam whispered.
Sam looked back, instantly crouching in a defensive stance as Theo growled at the doctor and pushed him back against the wall. He started throwing punches against the metal mask, trying to crack it. Disapprovingly, the two Dread Doctors walked towards him.
Liam stood up. "Liam, wait!", Scott called after him and stood up as well. Sam followed Liam, readying to attack the other doctors.
Theo groaned in pain as the Doctor punched him back. Sam threw a punch into one of the doctor’s faces and received a punch as well.
"Liam!", Mason yelled. The Dread Doctor continued attacking Liam over and over again. Sam went back to help Scott but the doctor tossed him against Sam and knocked them back into some barrels.
A second later, Liam was tossed beside them. The three of them watched Mason as he started pulling on the pipe and stood up. He was screaming in pain as he took the cable and finally pulled it out.
"Transformation..." The Surgeon began. A random black smoke appeared at Mason's feet and slowly made its way up. "Transformation without frequency."
"Mason!" Liam yelled. Mason's eyes turned blue as he looked back at them and growled. Just as the smoke disappeared, the Beast glared at them. "That is not my name.", Mason growled and let out a loud roar.
Sam quickly evaded the Beast’s attack and watched as its attack landed on one of the doctors and slashed him dead.
The Beast growled and the teens watched as it grabbed another one of the doctors and ripped him apart, causing blood to splatter everywhere.
Each teen was shocked at the sight. Theo's eyes widened as the Beast looked at him and growled. It slashed at Theo and knocked him to the side, making him slump to the floor. Theo groaned in pain.
"Success.", the Surgeon said as he looked at the Beast. The beast thrusted his claws into the Surgeon's chest and dragged him away. Scott and Sam shared a knowing look.
The beast wasn’t after them. He wanted the Dread Doctors dead.
They followed the Beast outside and watched as he threw the Surgeon on the ground. It went to attack him but Parrish appeared out of nowhere and growled at him as his body lit on fire.
The Beast turned around as Parrish slammed his burning fist into the beast's chest.
The Beast growled in pain. Sam and Scott ducked at the sound of gunfire. They turned around and saw Chris shooting his shotgun. The Beast turned around to run away and stumbled.
However, the beast didn’t shift back into Mason. Instead, it was a completely different person. "La Bete de Gevaudan!" Gerard yelled at him. "I know your name." The man was covered in blood and he turned around to look at Gerard. "Do you remember mine?"
"Argent.", he said in French and ran off. Parrish roared and ran off after him.
"Who the hell was that?", Scott asked. "That’s the man Lydia told us about.", Sam told him. "Sebastien Valet."

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Chapter 45: Break In to Break Out
"What I'm about to show you isn't supposed to exist," Deaton explained. They looked confused as he pulled out a bunch of pictures. He placed the first picture on the table.
"This is the only surviving evidence of Dr. Valack's time as Chief Medical Officer of Eichen House."
"This is fucked…", Sam muttered, looking at the picture.
One person had no skin around his mouth visibly showing teeth.
"To call it human experimentation would be charitable.", Deaton frowned.
Scott took a picture of a woman that was covering her ears and seemed to be yelling in pain. "A Banshee. She died screaming."
The teens watched as he placed a couple more pictures, but these victims had drilled holes in their heads.
"So, he drilled holes into their heads?", Stiles asked. "All of them?"
"That was the experimentation part," Deaton explained. Stiles frowned, concerned. "He did it to Werewolves, Banshees, Wendigos, any creature he could get his hands on. And Valack found that trepanation would initially heighten their powers, but to levels that it couldn't be contained."
"So, he's trying to make Lydia more powerful.", Sam said.
"Yeah. Except she's going to end up like them.", Stiles said. "Worse, actually.", Deaton said. Sam's eyes widened. "How worse?"
"Lydia's abilities were already pretty exceptional, to begin with. Putting a hole in her head will be like causing a leak in a nuclear reactor. She'll hear everything. Every death, every dying scream, all at once.", Deaton explained.
"That's going to kill her.", Scott said, worriedly.
"Not only that…", Deaton started. "Her own dying scream could be so powerful that it might actually kill everyone around her as well.", he said, making everyone shrink with dread.
"There's four steps.", Stiles said, walking them through his plan. "We get into Eichen, we get into the Closed Unit, we get Lydia, get out."
"And we have to do all of this while getting past orderlies," Scott brought up. "Guards, electric door locks, and a Mountain Ash barrier."
"You have a plan for all of that?", Malia questioned.
Stiles held up a pass. "I stole this last night off an orderly."
Sam was ready to scold him, "Stiles–"
"But it's useless 'cause they reset the codes each night.", Stiles explained quickly.
"So why did you take it?", Kira asked.
"I'm getting to that.", Stiles replied.
"The only way to get Lydia out of Eichen is to make that keycard work again.", Scott said.
"How are you going to do that?", Liam asked, and Sam nodded in agreement.
"We're getting to that," Stiles repeated, "Okay, just listen." He turned his computer towards them. "I pulled all the history off the key card. Two weeks ago, there was a brownout and the security system rebooted. During a reboot, all of the key cards revert back to a default code."
"So, if we trigger a reboot…"
"The card goes back to the default code." Liam finished.
"It'll work again."
"Okay, so how're we gonna cause a brownout?", Sam asked.
"That's Kira's part.", Scott said, looking at Kira. "You're going to draw power from the mainline." She looked a bit worried. "But only enough to cause the brownout."
"Not a blackout," Stiles said, firmly. "Do that and you send Eichen into a lockdown which would be bad. Very, very bad."
"There's an electrical room behind the reception counter.", Scott said and pointed to the room on the blueprint. "The main power line goes into two breakers that run power to all of Eichen."
Kira laughed nervously, "Okay, slight problem. I don't know how to do that."
"That's okay." Scott replied. "You have time to practice."
"Okay, let's say all this goes perfectly.", Sam said. "How do we cause a brownout and how does that help us get into the Closed Unit of Eichen?"
"The system takes five minutes to reboot.", Stiles replied. "In that five minutes all the alarms will be turned off and the key card should work."
"Liam, Sam, we'll get Stiles to the gate of the Closed Unit," Scott explained. "But after that, he has to go on his own. We can't get past the Mountain Ash barrier. And when we're gone, all anyone's going to think is that there was a security system reboot caused by a brownout."
Stiles nodded in agreement then looked at all of the rest, "Uh, any questions?"
Liam looked confused, "How do we get into Eichen House in the first place?"
"What's our worst-case scenario?", Malia asked.
"What if I can't do it?", Kira asked worriedly.
"Okay, admittedly, a lot could go wrong," Stiles said.
"Everything could go wrong," Liam said.
"That's why we need to make a good plan.", Sam said, making her friends look at her. "If we don't do this right, we could lose Lydia."
"She's going to die in there tonight," Scott said. "And she might take a lot of innocent people with her."
The next day, Scott, Sam, Stiles and Liam went to prepare for the break-in, while Kira and Malia were practicing at the school instead.
Melissa went to hand out some black body bags to Liam but then handed it to Scott instead. Liam's face dropped slightly.
"Just promise you're not coming back in one of these.", Scott's mom warned them.
"We're coming back with Lydia.", Scott assured.
Melissa nodded and relaxed her shoulders a bit. "Okay."
"We still don't know who's actually doing this." Liam said. "Who the Beast is."
"We'll find out.", Scott reassured.
Melissa grabbed more bags.
"Someone we know?" Liam asked.
"Might be, knowing this town.", Sam said, grabbing some bags from Scott's mom.
"You think he even knows he's doing it?", Liam questioned.
"How are you so sure it's a he?", Melissa asked and practically threw some more black bags at Liam with a glare.
Sam looked between Liam and Melissa before looking at Scott with a raised eyebrow.
He gave a weak smile and mouthed, "Theo." Sam rolled her eyes.
"You still mad at me?", Liam asked, nearly shrinking under the older woman's glare.
"No.", Melissa replied. "But if you try to kill my son again, I'll put you in one of these myself.", she said, making Sam's eyes widen at the underclassman.
Liam took a step backward and Scott looked at his mom with slightly widened eyes. She turned around while Sam gave Scott another questioning, concerned look.
"She's still mad," Liam whispered, looking down.
The next day, the supernatural teens went to school and discussed the plans in the library.
"My Dad's got the lab working on the shoe prints," Stiles said. "But, uh, we're both kind of mystified about how giant clawed werewolf prints turned back into a pair of sneakers."
"Argent said it wouldn't be like anything we've seen before.", Scott said. "Did he say it was going to defy the laws of physics?" Stiles asked.
Sam chuckled. "You know, you can be really dramatic."
The trio stopped as they saw Theo standing by a bookshelf and pretending to look through a book.
Sam immediately felt defensive. "What the fuck is he doing here."
"I still need to graduate, Sammy.", Theo said.
"No. No.", Stiles disagreed. "What you need is to be beaten severely with a lead pipe wrapped in barbed wire…"
Theo cut him off. "Okay, I admit that mistakes were made."
"Murders.", Stiles corrected. "Murders were made."
"Not only that, you drugged me and kidnapped me.", Sam added.
"Technically, Tracy did it.", Theo said before flipping a page in the book he held. "You know how the Soviets helped us win World War II?"
He looked back up at Stiles. Stiles rolled his eyes, not responding. "They knew how to make it through a Russian winter." He looked at Scott expectantly.
"That it?", Stiles asked. "Okay. Thank you, Theo. Very informative."
Stiles pushed his two friends away from Theo but stopped as Theo continued. "If you're planning to break Lydia out of Eichen House, you still need to get past the Mountain Ash."
Stiles crossed his arms. "We can make it through. You can't."
"What do you really want?", Scott asked.
"I know you saw the fresco," Theo replied. The trio looked confused. "Two seriously pissed off creatures, the Hellhound, and the Beast, fighting over a pile of dead bodies. I don't want to be one of the bodies, it's that simple. I can get you to Lydia."
Sam let out a laugh. "Please. You want us to trust you?"
Theo shrugged. "Or we can see who gets her first." He placed the book back onto the shelf and walked away.
Sam shook her head. "I hate him."
"There's no way he knows what Valack's doing.", Stiles said. "Why's he so interested in her?"
"He probably thinks what we're all thinking," Scott said. "That Lydia's got something bigger to do with this. That, maybe, she's the only one who can actually save us."
"How far can we get without the brownout?", Liam asked. Kira practiced, but she blew up the whole grid.
The teens went to Scott's house, figuring out how to get Lydia first. "The front door." Stiles said sarcastically after watching Kira fail multiple times.
"We're going.", Scott replied.
"Scott, we went through boxes of light bulbs," Kira said.
Scott turned to Kira, "It doesn't matter. You can do this."
"Their key card won't work unless there's a reboot.", she said. "And there's no reboot without a brownout."
Scott moved closer to her. "I know you can do this." Scott turned around to look at his friends. "Anyone here thinks she can't?"
Everyone looked at each other.
"Not me," Liam answered.
"I was the one who put you in the plan." Stiles reminded him.
Then Stiles looked at Sam and Malia.
"I believe in you.", Sam said, shrugging, and looked at Malia.
"What?", she asked.
"I believe in you too, Kira.", Stiles whispered.
"I'm the one who's going to be locked in an electrical room with her.", Malia said, with furrowed eyebrows. She turned to Kira. "You can do it."
She glared back at Stiles as Scott nodded in approval.
Kira shook her head and looked back at Scott, "You guys are all crazy. We're gonna die."
The teens were placed in body bags, settled in the back of Parrish's cop car. The car suddenly stopped, causing the teens to set themselves straight.
They heard Parrish roll down his window then a few footsteps steps approaching the cop car.
"Delivery to the morgue," Parrish said.
"I don't see you on the list.", someone said.
"You heard about the animal attacks, right?", Parrish asked.
"The hospital ran out of refrigerated drawers and Eichen's got the only other up-to-code morgue in the county.", Parrish said.
"Let's have a look.", the man replied.
"I don't think you want to do that," Parrish warned. "The stench back there almost made me pass out while driving."
"Open the back of the van, please.", the man replied, annoyed.
Parrish sighed and opened his car door and then slammed it shut. The teens froze as the back door opened. A light shone over their bags.
"I'll need to log the names off the toe tags." The man said. "There's significant decomp.", Parrish replied. "They were found in the county tunnels past rigor."
"Open them up, please."
Parrish went on and unzipped the only bag that had an actual dead body inside.
Scott and Liam tried their best not to gag.
The man gagged and Parrish started unzipping Sam's bag really slowly. "No, no.", the man said. "Go, just go."
Appreciatively, the back doors slammed shut.
Parrish entered the car and drove on. After a couple of minutes, the back door opened, and each teen was taken and laid on top of tables.
Once they were left alone, they hurriedly poke their fingers through the zipper and unzipped the bag.
Sam and Liam gasped for air as Stiles glared at Scott. "Never again.", he said, and Sam nodded in agreement.
Scott sighed and nodded in agreement. He looked down at his phone. "Fifteen minutes," Scott said. "Starting now."
Stiles rushed to get out of his bag and fell. "Ow."
The three werewolves just shook their heads and got out of their bags.
Scott and Sam ran to the door and pressed their ears against it. They heard footsteps getting nearby, but then slowly faded away.
They stepped away as Scott opened the door and rushed out of the room with them.
They crept down some hallways and all jumped back as they saw some of the staff waiting by the door at the end of the other hall.
"What the hell are they doing here?", Sam whispered.
"I don't know," Stiles replied. "Their rounds should've ended five minutes ago." He leaned a bit forward to see what was going on.
"I can take them," Liam said, bravely.
"We're not doing shit unless we have to.", Sam shot down. She shrugged. "Well… I could knock them out."
"No. No one is taking anyone.", Scott scolded.
"How much time?", Stiles whispered.
Scott took out his phone. He sighed. "Three minutes."
"I'll just knock them out and hide their bodies," Liam said, making Sam look at him with wide eyes. Stiles looked at him and shook his head. "Oh, my God, please stop."
They jumped at the sound of a loud thud and saw a patient appeared in his room. His door was transparent as he glared at the teen in front of him and pressed himself against the glass.
"Did you take the doctor?", the patient asked. He looked their age or at least younger than them. Liam frowned. "What?", he whispered.
"Did you take the doctor?", the patient asked again.
Scott glanced over at the staff and leaned back.
"I haven't had my medication. I need ten milligrams at 8 am, 15 milligrams at 1 pm, and no more than 20 at dinner.", the patient said.
"We'll get the doctor," Scott whispered.
"Dr. Fenris.", the patient replied. "Dr. Fenris." Then he started sobbing. "They took Dr. Fenris." He slammed his hand against the glass window, making the teens jump.
The patient continued slamming both of his hands repeatedly. "I haven't had my medication. I need to see the doctor. They took Dr. Fenris." He slammed his hands once more.
"Hey, somebody shut him up," Stiles said, annoyed.
"I need to see the doctor."
"Shut him up," Stiles said, looking at Scott.
They watched as Scott's eyes turned red. He let out a low growl at the patient.
The guy's eyes widened, and he took a few steps back. The staff opened a side door and left, making the teens let out a simultaneous sigh.
Stiles motioned them to follow him. They ran down to the small door at the end of the hallway. Suddenly, the emergency lights turned on.
"She did it.", Liam said, astonished. "Kira did it."
"Five minutes to get to Lydia," Scott said. They made it to the door and Stiles grabbed the handle but paused in shock.
The card reader wasn't there.
"Where's the card reader?", Stiles asked. They looked around the door. "It should be here. It has to be here."
"They must have taken it out when the Dread Doctors got through," Scott said, frustrated.
"We came here for nothing?", Sam asked.
Liam shook his head, "We don't need a key." He looked at Sam and Scott. "Not if we can break it down."
The three werewolves started pushing on the door.
"There's no way this thing is this strong. Why can't we just ram it?", Sam asked.
"Guys, we're running out of time," Stiles said. The werewolves stopped, realizing the sudden weakness.
"We can't.", Scott told him. "The Mountain Ash. It's too much."
"Hit me.", Liam whispered to Scott.
"What?", Scott asked, confused. Liam turned around to him.
"Hit me." He repeated. "I'll get angry then I'll get stronger."
Scott looked at Sam and Stiles confused. Stiles encouraged him. "Hit him." Scott looked at him with concerned eyes. "Hit him!"
"I tried to take your powers." Liam told Scott. "I tried to kill you. Hit me!"
Stiles instigated. "He also left you for dead."
"I wanted you dead!", Liam said angrily then Scott threw him a punch straight into his face.
Liam groaned in pain. "Do it again.", he said, looking at Scott. Scott punched him once more. Liam yelled in pain.
"It's gotta be harder than that.", Stiles said.
"Do it!", Liam yelled. "Do it!"
"Yeah!", Stiles encouraged, then Scott threw another punch, growling. Liam yelled in pain and huffed. Both boys were angry now.
"You angry?", Scott asked. Liam looked back at him, his eyes glowing with golden anger.
"Let's do this.", Sam said and then they pushed at the door once more, finally clattering off of its hinges.
Stiles went ahead and Scott shook his head, "Only two minutes."
"We're never going to get through," Scott said. "We have to. If something happens to Stiles, we won't be able to get to Lydia.", Sam said and started pushing against the invisible barrier.
"There's Mountain Ash in half of the building, Sam." Scott said, groaning. "The key card doesn't work anymore,"
"Scott, are you or are you not the true alpha?", Sam pressed, looking at him with hardened eyes. Scott frowned and walked next to her, pushing against the barrier.
The older werewolves let out a groan as they shoved against the barricade that flashed a blue light.
"You've gotten through it before, though, right?", Liam asked.
Scott huffed, wrapping an arm around his side. "Ah, it was a life-or-death situation," Scott said.
"Scott, this is a life-or-death situation. Literally.", Sam said, continuing to push against the barrier.
"Stiles and Lydia had five minutes to get in and out.", Liam whispered. "It's been almost ten. The reboot's over."
"And then there are the four security guards," Liam said, looking behind them.
"What guards?", Scott asked, gaining Sam's attention. Scott turned around and they saw four guards coming their way.
The guards looked furious, and each held an electrical baton.
Shit.
Just before a guard could swing on them, Sam knocked one of them to the side by their shadow, groaning and panting softly in sudden fatigue.
The mountain ash was stronger than she thought.
Another guard slammed his baton into her, and it electrocuted her. Sam fell to the ground as well as Scott and Liam, while the guards managed to hold them down on the ground and electrocuted them.
The supernatural teens let out yells of pain as the guards pressed their batons into them further. Scott's eyes brightened in red as he looked at Sam and Liam. Their eyes brightened as well as they got up and fought the guards off.
The three werewolves huffed, and Scott looked at his betas. “Let’s go get Lydia.”

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Chapter 48: Family and Hell
Sam headed back inside the building and looked for Theo who hissed, holding his cut side in pain. "You still with us, Raeken?", she asked, walking up to him.
He scoffed. "Last name basis, now?" She rolled her eyes, crouching near him. "Just tell me you wanna get killed first and I'll hand you to the beast if it'll make you feel better.", she says, sarcastically.
He grunted, trying to sit up on the wall. "Lemme see.", Sam said, reluctantly.
He looked at her before removing his bloody hand, showing her a gash. She grimaced and hovered her glowing hand above his wound, helping him heal.
He watched in astonishment once she finished, feeling sore in her own side before feeling the pain subside.
He looked up at her as she looked at him with a frown. "That's what you've been missing out on. If you played nice, you'd probably learn more about me than you do now.", she said, standing up.
Theo looked down before getting up. She turned away from him, ready to walk away. "We just...", she sighed. She paused. "I just wish you did better.", she says, before turning around to face him.
"We probably need you on our team more than you need us. But that doesn't make you boss. That just makes you a part of the pack. If you used your abilities the right way instead of just using them for being an overlord or whatever you were gonna call yourself.", Sam said then left the Raeken boy.
"Sam!", Scott called. She ran up to him, pausing as she caught Tracy. "Shit."
"So, you're alive.", Tracy frowned.
"Guess electricity doesn't knock you out for long, huh?", Sam scoffed and ran after Scott who rushed over to Liam.
Scott and Liam picked up the Surgeon and looked at Sam. "Is he…?", she grimaced.
"He's still alive.", Scott nodded. "We're taking him to Deaton."
Sam nodded, following Scott and Liam to the Animal Clinic.
The Surgeon was laid out on the table and the pack surrounded him. Deaton looked over the doctor, examining the head while Scott and Stiles stood on the one side as Liam and Sam stood on the opposite side.
"Can you keep him alive?" Scott questioned Deaton. "I'm not sure he technically is alive." Deaton said.
"Screw keeping him alive.", Liam uttered. "How do we get him to talk?"
"Personally, I don't think we utilize torture nearly enough.", Stiles retorted. "Stiles.", Sam warned with raised eyebrows.
Stiles let out a small huff.
"Wait. Did you hear that?", Liam asked and they looked at him before the older werewolves began to hear a ringing in their ears that got louder.
Sam covered her ears. "What's going on?", Stiles asked, confused. The ringing got deafeningly and painfully louder, causing Sam to drop to a knee. What the hell was this noise??
"It's Sebastien.", Scott whispered. "He's calling out to–"
Sam let out a loud, painful yell and the Surgeon shot up on the table, emitting his frequency. Everyone had their ears covered from the loud noises.
The tables rattled and the floor shook as the Surgeon jumped off the table, standing up and headed for the door. Liam uncovered his ears, instantly chasing after the doctor.
"Liam, wait!", Scott yelled and Sam reached for Liam but the Surgeon whipped his hand back that created a force wave and Liam flew back into Sam.
They both covered their ears, thrashing on the floor as the surgeon escaped.
As the noise decreased, Stiles ran to Sam and took her in his arms, as she groaned. "You okay?", Stiles asked.
Sam let out a panting sigh. "I hate those doctors."
"The cane.", Scott whispered.
"They got the cane.", Liam said. "What?", Stiles frowned as well as Sam.
"The pike was the cane that he had and Argent and Gerard took it.", Scott stated.
Sam got up. "Then that means that Sebastien wants it and he's gonna track it down."
With that, Scott starting looking through Mason's files. "Maybe there's something in here. Something about how he was a Genetic Chimera."
"Mason had a vanishing twin.", Deaton nodded.
"Now we've got a vanishing Mason.", Stiles complained.
Liam shrugged. "What does that have to do with him turning into a 250-year-old French guy? How does that even happen?"
"A vanishing twin?", Sam asked. "He ate his twin.", Deaton summed. Sam grimaced.
God.
"Scott might have something.", Deaton said. "Mason's twin wasn't entirely gone. That's what made him a Genetic Chimera."
"The DNA was still there.", Scott said in realization.
"Metaphorically speaking, the DNA of Mason could still be inside Sebastien as well."
"How?" Stiles furrowed his brow.
"Energy.", Sam suggested.
"Sam's right. Life is energy. Energy doesn't just disappear. The Dread Doctors may have found a way to break the rules of the supernatural world but there are some rules that simply won't break.", Deaton explained.
"So Mason can't just be gone?", Liam asked.
"Somewhere in Sebastien he has to still exist in some form. A spark of energy, a flicker of memory."
Stiles picked up the Surgeon's mask, eyeing it. "Hang on... Liam, you said Mason said something right before he turned."
"Yeah.", Liam said. "He said, 'That's not my name'.", Sam said.
"That's what they wanted. They wanted Sebastien to remember his name.", Liam nodded.
Scott nodded. "He finally remembered his name."
"Damnatio Memoriae.", Stiles said.
"That was enough for them.", Sam said. "We called him Mason. Kept calling him Mason and he just… he wasn't having it."
Deaton looked at Scott. "Scott, you know the myth of what happens when you call a werewolf by its given name?"
"It turns back to human."
"What does that mean?", Liam asked. "Someone can just walk up to the Beast, yell Mason's name and turn him back?"
"Not just someone..."
"It's gotta be Lydia.", Sam said.
Stiles nodded. "We'll get her."
The teen split up, and Sam went after the Surgeon. She managed to sense where the doctor was and saw a man's head instead.
She walked up to it to see a ghostly pale, clammy face that had indents of old stitches in it. She gave it a nudge with her foot, causing the one good eye to look up at her.
"The beast…. has been created.", he rasped.
Sam frowned. "What was the purpose? What were you trying to gain from this?"
The man took in a raspy breath. "I…." Black blood dripped out of his mouth. His death was approaching. "I owed a friend a favor."
She tilted her head in confusion before letting out a soft breath of realization. "You're Marcel."
The surgeon nodded. Sam shook her head. "You brought him back. Why?" The man hadn't answered. "How do we stop him from hurting anyone else? He's uncontrollable.", Sam pressed.
"You can defeat him…with the pike.", he answered. "Just as the banshee must wield her scream..and the hellhound wields its fire." As he gave a final sigh, he finally died.
Sam walked away heading for the police station. In the sheriff's office, sebastien sat in front of sheriff stilinski's desk and the sheriff put away his phone after getting Stiles' messages, explaining the problems. The older Stilinski looked at Sebastien. "You're looking for one of the argents?"
Sebastien looked at him with amused eyes. "You seem to know who I am. That means you know what I'm capable of."
"I've got some experience.", the sheriff agreed.
"Your weapons may be more sophisticated than the arrows and the bullets of my time, but they still won't kill me.", Sebastien determined.
The sheriff reached into his holster, took out his gun and sat it down on his desk as he stared at Sebastien, certain of himself. "I'm pretty sure a nine millimeter beretta will do more damage than an 18th century musket."
Sebastien set his jaw, eyeing the gun before looking at the sheriff. "Are you certain? I can walk out of this place with my hands clean. Or, I can walk out with them drenched in blood.", he said, with raised eyebrows. "Your choice."
Sebastien stood up and the sheriff did as well, preparing for any attack.
The deputy outside the office noticed the commotion and busted in the office. "Sir?", the deputy looked at her supervisor.
"Clarke, don't." Sheriff held his hand up to stop her. Sebastien glared at Clarke and she glared at him. "Stop where you are."
His eyes immediately illuminated in a blue light and his fangs protruded from his lips. "Let him go.", the sheriff ordered but the deputy whipped out her gun, aiming at Sebastien, making him let out a growl as he pounced at her. Both authorities shot off their guns.
Lydia, who was already at the sheriff's office, heard the guns go off, fearing what was to come. Lydia left the room she stayed in and watched as Sebastien turned towards her and growled. He ran over, ready to strike his long claws into her throat.
Before he could harm her any deeper, Lydia let out her best screech, making him stumble back. She raised her hands, pushing the force of her scream to make him fly back into the wall.
Hayden arrived and saw his form, making her step away in fear. Sebastien glanced down at his claws, seeing Lydia's blood on them and looked up at her to see her holding her bloody neck. Lydia's eyes fluttered as she dropped to her knees.
His eyes then roamed up to Hayden and he stood, huffing. "Hayden. Your name is Hayden." Before he could attack anyone else, Sam busted in the sheriff's office, partially shifted as she let out a growl.
She looked to see a bloody Lydia and knelt down to her. "Hey. Hey!", she carried Lydia into her arms as she glanced at Sebastien who took Hayden. "Shit."
"Sam.", the girl looked up to see the sheriff. "We gotta get her to the hospital." Sam nodded and carried her out to the van.
On the way to the hospital, Sam made sure to heal anything that could fatally kill Lydia before arriving. At least, she'd be able to get some rest.
Sam helped Lydia out of the van and into the hospital, coming straight for Melissa. "We need help! It's Lydia."
The woman got more nurses to help Lydia onto a stretcher and into a room. "What happened?", Melissa asked Sam. Sam sighed. "The usual."
Scott, Stiles, and Liam had arrived at the hospital, and Melissa gave a rundown of Lydia's condition.
After that, Scott, Sam and Liam waited out in the hall while Stiles stayed with Lydia. "Is she okay?", Liam asked. "She's gonna be fine, but... She can't really talk.", Scott said.
Liam nodded. "Then it's over, isn't it?" He frowned, growing upset. "There's nothing we can do to save him."
Sam looked at the boy sadly. "Liam…"
Scott picked up his phone, receiving multiple voicemails from Kira and walked away to listen to them. Liam sighed sadly. They were running out of time and he was gradually losing his friend.
It hurt.
Sam looked at the boy and brought him into a hug. "I'm sorry. I wish we had more time to get him.", she mumbled. He hugged her back. "I just… I wish I knew earlier."
Sam pulled away to look at him. "Hey, there's nothing you could've done. You weren't even supposed to be dragged into supernatural things. You're still new to this, there's just some things you might not know or not be prepared for. But we got you anyways.", she reassured.
Liam looked down. "Scott… Scott told me you revived someone. Could you do that in case we do lose Mason? In case… I do?", he asked.
Sam frowned sadly. "It only works if I take someone's life. I was only able to revive him because I helped kill the Nogitsune. It would've probably worked if I had killed Kate, but I couldn't. It's not always easy. Trust me."
She put a hand on his shoulder, making him look at her. "We're gonna get this done. We'll save Mason. Okay?" Liam sighed and nodded before being brought into another hug.
They pulled away once Scott came back. "C'mon."
Liam and Sam looked confused. "Why?"
"Because I've got an idea. And because this isn't over.", he determined and his betas followed after him, entering Lydia's room.
Scott pulled his mom aside to talk to her and Sam went over to Stiles. "How's she doing?", she asked. "She's stable. Scott's mom said she got lucky."
Sam nodded.
Scott had told them his plan and his pack nodded. Liam and Scott helped Lydia sit up as Melissa walked over to her. "Lydia, this is gonna have to be just between us, because I could get fired for it."
Melissa took out a syringe filled with a liquid.
"It's a cortisone shot. It's gonna bring the inflammation down," Scott stated as his mom took off the cap to reveal the huge needle.
Scott's betas instantly tensed up, getting nervous themselves, while Lydia weakly nodded, taking out her arm from under the covers. "Not there.", Melissa said and reached for the bandage patch that was on Lydia's neck. She peels back the one top part and Lydia groans in pain.
Stiles nodded. "Oh, yeah, okay, I'm gonna need to leave."
"You're not going anywhere.", Melissa instructed. "Hold her hand."
"Okay, fine." He huffed. "I'm not leaving, but I still might faint.", he complained.
Melissa took a breath. "Okay. Here we go." She aimed the needle to her neck and before she could insert it, they paused at the sound of a thud.
They turned around and saw that Liam had passed out. Sam shook her head and picked him up as Melissa continued.
After everything settled and got Lydia dressed up, they quickly left the hospital. "Okay. I'll get Malia. Text me when you find Parrish.", Stiles said, getting ready to go.
"Hold on.", Scott stopped him and reached into his pocket, handing Stiles a brown paper bag.
"What is this?", Stiles asked, confused.
"Something I've been working on for a while. Just make sure Malia gets it.", Scott said.
Stiles nodded. "Is it plan B?"
"It was plan A."
"Plan A never works.", Stiles frowned.
"This is gonna work.", Sam said, making the boys look at her. "It has to. We haven't exactly failed before. We're gonna finish this."
Scott nodded and left with Liam and Lydia. Stiles and Sam arrived at the house, and hopped out of the Jeep, running up to the front of the house.
Stiles quickly swung the door open and stopped, making Sam frown and look over his shoulder.
Malia was standing on the staircase with her fangs bared while her mother was on the opposite side, pointing her gun directly at Stiles and Sam. "Ah, damn.", Stiles mumbled, shaking his head.
Before the bullet could hit either of the two, Sam put up a barrier and pushed it toward the woman. Sam huffed and looked around, her eyes catching Malia. "You okay?", she asked. Malia nodded.
"Yeah– look out!", Stiles takes Sam in his arms, ducking her out of the way as Corrine attacks Malia.
They ducked as Malia groaned, clattering on the glass coffee table, causing it to shatter.
Corinne threw Malia into the wall, and glared at her. Sam and Stiles watched as Corinne turned towards them, grinning. "You should've brought your bat.", Sam muttered, and shifted, growling at the woman.
"Hm. You're new.", Corrine said, turning to attack Sam. Before she could, Stiles moved in front of Sam, ready to send a punch to the woman. "No, you don't!"
Corrine dodged and backhanded him onto the floor, landing him in the shards of glass from the coffee table. "Stiles!", Sam exclaimed, not seeing him move.
Sam let out a loud growl, bringing the woman's shadow toward her before sending a punch in the woman's face, slamming her back against the wall next to Malia.
Stiles rolled over coughing and Sam rushed to him. "Hey.", she called, helping him on his back. Her eyes widened at the large glass shard in his shoulder. His blood was spreading fast. "Shit.", she muttered. He groaned. "Just get the talons.", Stiles said.
They jumped at the sound of a gunshot and saw Malia holding her bloodied shoulder as her mother aimed a pistol at her and continued to shoot.
Sam hurriedly got the talons, and looked at Malia. "Malia, catch!", Sam called, gaining the werecoyote's attention and threw the talons to her. Malia hurriedly caught the talons and put them onto her palm.
Her mother stormed over to her and plunged her claws into the girl's stomach as her eyes brightened blue.
Malia groaned, clenching her jaw tightly. "I want my power back!" Her mother growled.
Malia put the claws on and let the jar fall to the floor. Malia growled back and plunged her own claws into her mother's stomach, making the talons illuminate a pale blue color. Malia huffed as her blue eyes brightened more than before. "I want my family back.", she declared.
Corinne gasped, her glowing eyes dimmed as Malia removed her from the talons, making her stumble back. Braeden rushed behind her, and before Corrine could run, Braeden brought the butt of her shotgun and slammed it in her face, knocking her out.
Sam let out a sigh and gave Braeden a nod.
"Can someone please come and take this gigantic shard of glass out of my chest? Please?", Stiles said, making Sam chuckle and kneel down to him.
Sam placed a hand on his unharmed shoulder and looked at him as she reached for the shard. "Take a deep breath."
"On three.", Stiles said hurriedly. Sam rolled her eyes. "One."
"Two." Stiles let out a loud yell as Sam yanked it out. She hurriedly healed him as he whined. "We were supposed to go three.", he frowned.
Sam shook her head, helping him up.
After leaving the house, Sam, Stiles, Braeden and Malia were notified that the beast was finally taken care of and Theo was taken to hell by his dead sister who Kira revived.
"Dammit, I wish I could've seen that!", Sam complained. "You're so weird!", Stiles exclaimed as he drove them home.

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Chapter 46: Beasts
Scott looked through the guards' pants as Liam kept touching the barrier. Sam went to look through the other guards' pants.
Scott pulled out a card and a walkie-talkie. He pressed on the button. "Does anyone have eyes on the Closed Unit? I need a status report." Scott asked.
"It's a war zone down here." A security guard reported.
"Uhm, 10-4.", Scott replied. "And what about the patients? Lydia Martin?"
A new voice blurted. "Who is this?"
Liam and Sam looked at him in panic. "It's…Unit Nine.", Scott rushed, making Sam look at him crazy.
He wasn't good at this.
"There is no Unit Nine.", the same person replied. "Who is this? How did you get…"
Before he could finish his question, Scott quickly crushed the radio and dropped the broken pieces.
"You're an idiot.", Sam said. Scott shrugged unapologetically. "All right.", Scott said. "We need to figure out another way to get into this Closed Unit."
"How are we gonna do that behind mountain ash?", Sam asked and Scott shrugged.
"I don't know yet," Scott replied. "But there's somebody else here that might be able to help us."
"Who?", Liam asked. "Meredith," Scott replied.
They ran off to Meredith's room. As soon as they got there, said girl was sitting on a desk chair, her back facing them.
Scott pressed a button and a sound buzzed, allowing them access.
Sam closed the door quickly.
"Meredith," Scott called. She didn't reply. "Meredith? It's Scott. Scott McCall."
Scott glanced at his betas as Meredith didn't move at all. Scott turned the chair around and saw that Meredith had a black eye and a blank look on her face.
Scott knelt down and grabbed her hand. "Hey, Meredith, can you hear me? We need your help. We're trying to find Lydia. We're trying to get her out of here."
"Scott, I think we better go.", Liam suggested.
Scott ignored him, "Meredith, listen. There has to be another way to get to Lydia. We can't get past the mountain ash. How do we find her?"
"Scott…", Liam whispered, warningly. Meredith just stared in front of her, just completely blank.
Scott looked down and stood up. Before he could pull his hand back, she grabbed it and placed it on her neck, indicating that he'd have to go in her memories.
"I could hurt you.", Scott whispered. She pressed it on her neck and placed her own hand back down. "Okay.", Scott said.
Scott glanced at the two werewolves behind him before he plunged his claws into the back of her neck
Liam and Sam waited in silence. They waited for 5 minutes, and nothing happened.
Liam looked nervous then turned to Sam, "Is it always like this? This… Long?"
"Yeah, it takes some time. Peter's done it to her too. Come to find out he knew her before he became…well, him. It was right after the Hale fire.", Sam said.
They quickly quieted down as they heard distant voices. He glanced at Sam then slowly opened the door. After a couple of seconds, he came back worried.
"Two nurses.", he whispered. Him and Sam looked at each other worriedly before glancing at their Alpha.
Shit.
Sam nodded at Liam. They'd have no choice but to attack the two nurses who came and saw them.
Liam kicked one and the nurse fell back into the wall. Sam does the same with the other one, sending the nurse back by their shadow and knocking him out.
Liam closed the door and smacked the lock. Liam grabbed one of the staff and slammed him onto the door and Sam pulled the nurse off, also knocking him out.
The door buzzed once more and three bigger men appeared.
Their growls shocked Liam and Sam. Were they supernatural creatures as staff members?
"Oh, sh…" Before Liam could finish his statement, one dark-skinned man grabbed Liam by his collar and smacked him on the wall.
The other one came after Sam and reached for her collar but Sam shoulder rammed the man instead, knocking him back.
The other man charged at her with a growl and she stomped, stopping his shadow in place, also making him freeze.
She whipped her hand around, now controlling the man's body to attack his comrade. The controlled man, confusedly knocked his comrade out before Sam quickly knocked him out by slamming his head into the wall.
They were all knocked out.
Liam stood by the door as it was now open and Scott snapped out of his trance and looked at his betas in confusion.
"Is he out?", Liam asked, mentioning to the guy that was laying down in front of him.
"Yeah," Scott said, shocked.
Liam gave him a thumbs up. "Okay.", he breathed out. Sam gave him a high five as he walked back into the room.
Before they could call it a victory and move on, Sam quickly dropped to a knee, covering her ears from the sound of a shrill scream.
The scream was so loud, it blurred her vision for a moment. Even through her blurry vision, she could see Liam had passed out.
"Sam!" Scott knelt down to her. "What's wrong?"
"You can't hear that shit?", she exclaimed in pain. He shook his head and the screams finally stopped.
"It's Lydia.", Sam said dreadfully. "We have to get Parrish."
Scott frowned, "That's what Meredith told me." Liam came back in consciousness and looked at the older werewolves. "C'mon.", Scott said and led them to find Parrish.
They stopped in the stairs, catching him knocked out and half-naked, covered in ash.
"Parrish," Scott said as he shook him a bit. The deputy jumped and snapped his eyes open. He looked around, confused. "How did I get here?"
"We don't know.", Liam replied. "We just followed the burning smell."
He looked down at his hands which were covered in blood and all burnt. "Parrish, listen.", Scott began. "Eichen's in lockdown. There's no way for us to get out unless Plan B works."
"Plan B?", Parrish asked. "What's Plan B?"
Scott looked at us then at Parrish, "Don't worry about it. Right now, we need you to find Lydia."
"Me?" Parrish asked, even more confused. "Actually, not completely you," Liam said. "We kind of need the other you."
"The Hellhound.", Sam clarified.
"How?", Parrish asked.
"You'll see.", Scott said. "We'll, uh, light you on fire.
Sam looked at him with wide eyes. This was a crazy plan b.
Liam looked around and noticed a cart full of cleaning supplies. He threw a can at Scott.
He hesitated and looked at Parrish. "Do it!" He yelled.
Then Scott lit up a lighter and pressed on the button of the spray can. A huge flame came out towards Parrish.
Parrish stood up once more.
He turned back into a hellhound. Flames covered his body for a moment and his eyes turned orange. The flames suddenly died down and flickered in the cracks of his body.
They walked over to the Mountain Ash barrier is. They watched as Parrish walked over to it.
"Parrish?", Scott asked. The deputy didn't respond.
"How's he going to get through the mountain ash?", Liam asked. Parrish walked over the line and it turned blue.
Then Parrish just walked through it and once he touched it, the barrier went up in flames and it destroyed it.
The werewolves walked over and placed their hands through, not wasting any time to run through.
They caught Parrish going into a shower room. He walked over to the end of the room and noticed a vent on the ground. The opening was gaping as if someone had already gone through. Parrish went down on the ladder and the teens quickly followed.
It was a tunnel with pipes alongside the walls similar to the place Sam and Liam saw in his dreams.
Sam quickly found an open door but Parrish pushed past her and moved Stiles back before going to Lydia.
The teens braced themselves as Lydia gasped and started to scream but Parrish wrapped his arms around her and turned up his flames.
Lydia's scream wasn't as loud, but it caused some pieces of the walls and ceiling to fall off. As a result of that, everything was covered in smoke.
Even the floors shook under their feet. They coughed, trying to wave away the smoke that filled the place, waiting as Parrish came out of the smoke, holding Lydia in his arms.
Lydia gasped and Parrish was back to normal.
"Where to?", he asked Scott. "This way," Scott said, leading them all down the halls of the tunnels.
Suddenly, Liam led them out since he knew where to go. "There's a gate up ahead."
"Wait, what about Mason?", Sam asked.
"He's on it. Trust me.", Liam replied.
Scott and Sam looked at each other in confusion. Liam just bolted down the hall, speeding up in front of everyone else. "Liam, slow down!", Scott yelled. "Liam, wait!", Stiles yelled.
They arrived at where the gate was, and they could hear the electricity sparkling. But just as Liam just ran towards it and grabbed it with his hands, it didn't affect him.
The electricity seemed to have gone out. Liam grunted as he pulled the gate on both sides, making it slide open.
He looked back at Scott, "I told you."
Scott just glanced at Sam confused. She shrugged and followed Liam. He seemed to know where he was going. She wasn't gonna question him any further.
They came to a stop and Liam looked up. There was a vent with a ladder leading up and he started to climb it, with everyone following behind him. Once they were all out, Scott slammed it shut.
They watched Lydia in worry. "Can you stand?", Parrish asked Lydia. He placed her on the ground as she wrapped an arm around his shoulders.
Stiles' Jeep came to them and Malia was in the front seat. Kira hopped out and rushed to their side.
"Is she okay?", Malia asked.
"No," Scott replied, "we need to go. Give me the keys." Malia got out and gave him the keys. "We gotta get her to the clinic."
They jumped at the sound of a slash and Parrish groaned in pain.
They all looked back and saw Tracy holding Lydia, her claws on the banshee's stomach. "Sorry, but she's coming with me."
Sam growled at the girl. "Okay. Tracy, just wait.", Scott said. "You don't know what's about to happen."
"I'm taking her. That's what happening.", Tracy replied. "And none of are you going to do a thing…"
Suddenly, she gasped as someone electrocuted her. She fell down to her feet and Sam quickly caught Lydia. They looked up to see Lydia's mom standing there.
"Could somebody please get my daughter out of this hellhole?", she asked. About the time she realizes.
The teens nod and Stiles and Sam put Lydia in the jeep.
After a couple of minutes, it seemed Scott had issues changing gears, considering the Jeep kept making weird sounds. "Scott.", Stiles said.
"Yeah. I'm trying. I'm trying.", Scott said.
"We're almost there.", Stiles assured Lydia. "Lydia, just hold on, okay?"
Sam constantly wiped off Lydia's sweat with her sleeve, but quickly covered her ears as Lydia let out another Banshee scream. Scott winced in pain.
It wasn't long before they were at Deaton's clinic. Sam and Stiles quickly got Lydia out of the jeep and got inside the clinic.
Deaton rushed into the back as he heard them. "Get her on the table." He hurriedly got some of his tools out. Lydia groaned in pain and Scott and Stiles helped her get on the table.
Everyone looked shocked as Lydia yelled in pain.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa.", Stiles said as she arched her back in pain.
"Hold her.", Deaton said. Lydia started screaming gradually louder and louder, causing everything around them to tremble.
"Doc, I think you gotta do something.", Stiles said, panicked.
"I will.", Deaton replied. He started putting liquid in the syringe he held. "But right now, I need you to keep her still."
Scott and Stiles held both her arms and Sam held down her legs. Lydia groaned in pain as Deaton turned around and walked over to the table. "Steady."
Sam's eyes widened at the size of the syringe. "What the hell is that?"
"Mistletoe.", Deaton replied, and pointed the syringe near Lydia's drilled head.
"Mistletoe?", Stiles questioned. "She's got a frickin' hole in her head."
Lydia groaned, continuing to move and Scott snapped at him. "Stiles, help."
Deaton injected the Mistletoe inside Lydia's head. Suddenly, she sat up and let out another scream causing all the windows to explode.
The blast of Lydia's caused Sam to be thrown back, slumping against the wall behind her. She covered her head as glass shards fell on her.
She looked up and saw Deaton covering his head whilst Stiles was covering Lydia.
He looked down at Lydia and she was unconscious. They stood in silence, anticipating anything else. Stiles brushed the glass shards off her face. "Lydia." She didn't reply. "Lydia?"
Stiles teared up and grabbed her face. "Lydia, come on."
She was terrifyingly pale and her lips were blue. The sight sent Stiles into a panic. "No, no, no, no, no. Come on, Lydia. Wake up. Come on. Wake up. Can you hear me? Lydia. Lydia, open your eyes. Come on, come on. Hey, show me your eyes, okay?", Stiles pleaded. "Lydia, you have to open your eyes."
Deaton looked down, defeated. Surprising all of them, Lydia gasped loudly, opening her eyes.
Sam sighed in relief. "For fuck's sake…", she muttered, placing a hand over her chest and got up to walk back over to them.
"You okay?", Stiles asked and Lydia nodded. "You're okay." He grabbed her hand. "Want to try to sit up?" She nodded as tears bubbled in her eyes. She looked around and spotted her mom in the corner. "Mom?", she croaked.
Her mom walked towards her and pulled her into a hug, "Oh, honey."
Deaton gave the teens a proud smile. "They saved my life, Mom.", Lydia told her mother. Her mom just kept her in a hug and rubbed her back. "Stiles saved me."
Stiles looked back at Scott and smiled. Scott returned the smile and Sam patted his back.
"I'm not paying for the windows.", Stiles said, pointing to the windows. They chuckled at him.
Scott's phone buzzed as Stiles, Sam and Liam sat in the Jeep. "He's headed to the school," Scott announced, getting a text from Argent who was after the beast.
"Why's Parrish headed to the school?" Liam asked. "It's not Parrish.", Scott told him. "At least not right now."
"Okay, why's a Hellhound going to the school?", Liam asked.
"Who knows.", Sam muttered. Stiles replied. "I think he just wants higher education."
"We're just gonna go see him, okay?", Sam said and Stiles pressed down on the gas, driving to the school entrance.
Once they arrived, they got out of the Jeep. They made their way towards the entrance and saw Chris moving toward them. "Where's Parrish?" Scott asked.
"I lost him.", Chris replied. "He's moving too fast.", he said.
"Scott.", Liam called as he looked the other way. "That guy is not moving at all."
Sam followed Liam's line of sight and saw someone covered in blood. They kept walking where they saw blood trails.
"Look…", Liam said. There was a yellow bus with the back door ripped open. It was covered with a bunch of dead bodies. One head lifted up. "Help me.", a male whispered.
Scott ran towards the bus. "It's a trap." Parrish's voice said as he walked over the bus.
"Please…" The man said.
Scott walked forward and Sam stopped him. It felt off. This felt just like Peter's first set up in the auditorium. "Scott, don't."
Scott looked at her. "Is it here?", he asked her. She nodded.
They jumped at the sound of a snarl and then half the body fell down off the bus, blood and organs poured out. The Beast appeared and growled at them.
It was bigger than they expected. Way bigger than Sam remembered seeing.
It lifted up and then it was standing at the front of the bus. "That's big.", Stiles said. "No one said it was that big."
"Didn't exactly have the chance to tell you while I was too busy being kidnapped.", Sam growled.
Then the Beast roared at them. Parrish lit his flames once more and growled back. The Beast ran back in front of the bus and Parrish ran after it. Glass shattered as the Beast jumped out of the front window and Parrish ran to the side of the bus, chasing it.
The teens just stared in shock. "What the hell is happening?", Scott asked.
Chris looked at them in dread. "It's getting smarter."
Liam, Stiles, and Sam were sitting at the table and Scott stood next to Lydia.
"Mason said it's not just a transmitted frequency,", Liam explained. "It's high powered. Like it has to be a really strong signal."
"That makes it shift?", Sam asked. Scott shook his head. "No.", Scott said. "I don't think it's just that. Last night Argent said that it's getting smarter. What if the Dread Doctors are trying to make the Beast grow faster?"
"With frequencies?", Stiles asked, confused.
"No," Scott replied. "By shifting. The frequency is just the trigger. The important part is when it shifts into the werewolf."
"Like Peter.", Lydia said.
"Right.", Scott said. "Yeah, when Peter was an Alpha, he got stronger every full moon. Eventually, the burns healed, and he was back to normal."
"So the Dread Doctors don't want to wait for the full moon.", Liam suggested.
"They want the Beast to be as strong as possible, as fast as possible.", Scott said.
Liam nodded, "Because of Parrish."
"So if this is happening tonight, what are we going to do?", Lydia asked.
Stiles raised his finger, "Uh, we've got one clue to go on." He pulled a map out of his backpack. "This came from the hospital." He placed it on the table. It wasn't a map, but a picture of a bloody shoe print that measures 10 inches. "Whoever's lurking inside the Beast is wearing a size 10 or indeterminate mark."
"Indeterminate?", Lydia asked.
"Means, it's a partial print," Stiles explained. "Basically, it was all we were able to get considering all the fire, blood, and carnage."
"How many size 10s are out there?" Scott asked as he sat down. "Only one with Parrish's blood on the sole.", Stiles said.
"So are we going to try to get the game canceled?", Liam asked. "No, no, we're going to play.", Stiles explained. "But we're just going to hope really hard that it doesn't turn into a blood-soaked massacre."
"Okay," Liam began as Scott stood back up, "But, um…Aren't we kind of missing out on a chance to catch this thing? We don't have the 'who', but we have the 'where' and the 'when'."
Scott hesitated. "There's too many people."
"And we still don't actually know if it's going to happen.", Sam said.
Lydia added. "It just might end up being a regular lacrosse game. It's possible, right?"
"That's absolutely possible.", Stiles said.
"So, we're getting the game cancelled?", Liam asked once more. Stiles nodded. "We're getting the game cancelled."
The only way to do that was to go to the only person they knew that could do it best.
At the Beacon Hills Rehabilitation Center, Coach Finstock had been residing there for the last 7 months.
Stiles, Scott and Sam saw Coach sitting on a couch, slumped as if he was sleeping.
They walked into the quiet building and walked over to the coach, only pausing as they saw his eyes were open but held a blank stare.
"Hey, Coach," Scott called. "It's Scott, Stiles, and Sam." The boys both sat down on each side of him while Sam stood by the table. She glanced at his state. He kinda looked a mess and looked like he had just gotten up.
Stiles waved his hand in front of his eyes. No responses.
"Coach, you're in rehab," Stiles said. "You didn't have a lobotomy."
"Coach?", Scott asked.
"Cupcake.", Sam called, confusing the boys.
Stiles glanced at the chessboard and reached for a piece, but before he could touch one, the students jumped as Coach suddenly just grabbed his arm. Stiles winced at the grip.
"Don't you touch it.", Coach said and lifted up his head. "I've got Nurse Gonzalez by the balls of the last three moves and she knows it."
"Let it go.", Stiles said, rolling his eyes. "You're checking out of this place now."
Coach smiled. "Not a chance."
"Okay, Coach," Scott said, catching Coach's attention. "But we know you're fine."
He started shushing his former players. "I have a debilitating disease.", he claimed. Sam raised an eyebrow.
"It's called "I'm not going to take another arrow to my stomach-phobia.", Coach specified. Sam gave him a confusing look and turned to her best friend.
Stiles gave her a grimace that she knew he'd tell her later.
"Look it up!", Coach defended. "No one's gonna shoot arrows at you, coach. Okay?", Sam reassured and Coach frowned at her.
"We just need you to coach the charity game.", Scott said.
Finstock scoffed, "Charity? Not a chance."
"How exactly have you been conning them into letting you stay here?", Stiles questioned.
"I, uh…" He stuttered as he tried his best to come up with a lie. "I have relapses. It's – It's serious. I've had seven of them."
Sam gave him a disapproving look. "So once a month?", Scott asked.
"Yeah, you see, uh, every time they are just about to discharge me, I relapse.", Coach explained.
"And no one's noticed that pattern?", Stiles asked, sarcastically.
"I have phenomenal health insurance," Coach argued. "So why don't you all get the hell out of here. I hate charity games. They're meaningless."
"I don't think the charities would agree.", Stiles said.
"What's it for this year?", Coach asked.
"Cancer.", Sam replied.
"For or against?", he asked, making Sam look at him with wide, concerned eyes. "Against, Coach.", she expressed. "Deeply against."
"Yeah, okay, well I'm deeply not interested.", Coach whistled and motioned them to get out of there.
"Coach, we need you.", Scott pleaded.
He tapped the boys on their backs. "I will never coach there again."
"That's okay.", Stiles said. "Because we don't actually need you to coach the game."
Coach gave them a confusing look. "We need you to forfeit.", Scott clarified.
The older man just stared at them but didn't reply. He looked at his former student manager. "You guys really need me?", he asked.
"As your manager, would I ever lie to you?", Sam asked, shrugging.
Coach gave a little chuckle and leaned back into his seat, crossing his arms over his chest. He nodded once more, "Okay."
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Sam and Lydia walked down the school field, watching the players and audience getting ready for the game. Sam spotted Liam and Scott on the other side of the field. "I feel like everyone one here could be wearing size 10s," Sam told Lydia.
"It's a teenager too.", Lydia reminded. "Which doesn't help, considering there's a bunch of teenagers here.", Sam said. She frowned. "I wonder if Coach is actually going to forfeit the game."
Scott and Liam were looking over at the news vans. There were so many of them. Too many liabilities. Too many people.
Lydia and Sam looked up as the giant spotlights turned on. Scott jogged up to the girls. "It's time."
Sam nodded and they quickly followed him and Liam inside of the school. They went into the locker room to get ready and joined the others in one of the classes.
"Hey." Mason said. Sam gave him a reassuring smile, sensing his nervousness.
Kira walked in with her Lacrosse uniform and sat down next to Mason. Then Scott, Stiles and Liam walked in.
"Hey guys.", he said as he reached the spot that we were at. "Tonight is an important night…" He trailed off then looked over at Mason. "Mason, you know your part…"
He nodded. "Corey and I break into the Devenford Bus and search for their shoes."
Scott nodded and then looked over at Malia, "Me and Sam take out the TV vans.", Malia said. "Right before the whistle, Coach forfeits the game.", Stiles said.
"Do you think he'll actually do it?", Sam asked him.
He sighed, "I hope so."
"Lydia," Scott began, "You stay on the bleachers and look for anyone suspicious or that leaves or anything stange."
Scott looked over at Liam. "The rest of us are looking for a size 10 with a bloody sole."
"Just out of curiosity…", Malia started. "What if it doesn't work? What if we have to go up against this thing? I mean, I hate to bring up bad memories but Scott's still healing from what Theo did to him."
"No, he's not.", Kira said, making Sam and Malia look at her in confusion.
"She's right.", Scott replied. They looked at his stomach and he lifted up his shirt, revealing healed skin.
"It happened the night we got Lydia out of Eichen House.", Scott explained. "I healed. When we were all together again, when we were a pack."
"Then he's got nothing on us.", Sam said, smiling.
"The Beast doesn't have a pack.", Liam said. "Not like us.", Scott said, proudly. "We can do this, guys. No one dies tonight."
Everyone gave a nod and went along their positions.
Sam followed Malia and sneakily made their way to the news vans. They noticed that the game had already started. Malia looked at Sam in confusion while Sam frowned. "I thought they were going to stop the game?", Malia said.
Sam sighed, frustrated. "Coach never forfeited a game before."
Malia frowned and led Sam to a van, watching as she silently jumped onto the roof. Sam moved to the other van.
Malia ripped the wires connected to her van whilst Sam did the same before evading being spotted. They moved into the other vans and did the same, taking out any type of media connections.
"I got the last two.", Malia told Sam. "Go look for the shoes in the bleachers."
Sam gave her a nod before running off for the bleachers and walked under them.
Before she could move any further, she looked around for Lydia. Where the hell was she???
Sam quickly turned around to see Stiles behind her. "What the hell are you doing?", she asked, quietly.
"Uh, looking?", he hushed her, before grabbing someone's converse. He lifted the end of the shoe slowly, grimacing as the person shook their foot and Stiles quickly let it go.
"That's not gonna work.", Sam whispered. "Forget that, where the hell is Lydia? She was supposed to be on watch."
"She's still trying to get Coach to forfeit the game.", he explained as he tried again.
The two moved from under the bleachers and jumped as sparks flew off the news vans.
They paused as they heard a loud growl. "Shit.", Sam muttered, her heart dropping in dread. "It's happening…"
They peered around as they spotted their younger underclassman following the sound of the growl, sprinting after the beast.
"Liam!", Sam called, warningly and chased after him. Stiles followed. "Liam! Liam, wait!"
Liam's eyes had already changed color, as he jumped as well as the Beast, ready to claw at each other.
People started screaming as they heard the loud, rumbling growls and ran into the school. Sam growled, taking hold of the beast's shadow and tugging it away from Liam.
However, the beast was stronger than her and threw her into a van.
Sam painfully gasped for air as she slumped to the ground, watching it roar and ran towards the people that took refuge into the school.
Stiles ran over to her and helped her up. "It's looking bad."
Hayden showed up, clambering over to Liam. Sam and Stiles helped Liam to stand up. They quickly rushed into the school avoiding the runners and ran into a classroom.
"The desk, the desk!", Stiles yelled at Hayden. Sam and Hayden pushed the desk to him and helped place Liam on it. The young boy shouted in pain.
"Liam?", Hayden called with worry.
He grunted. "I'm okay. I'm fine.", he says, still covered in blood.
Sam ripped his shirt open, and looked at his deep wounds, quickly grimacing. Hayden gasped as Stiles gagged.
"What? Is it bad?", Liam asked.
"No." Hayden said at the same time Stiles said "Very."
She glared at him. Liam started coughing. "Okay.
"Okay, we gotta get you to heal before we can clean you up.", Sam said. "What do you guys usually do when this happens?", Hayden asked.
"Oh, I usually pass out," Stiles said. "And I think I still might do that."
He started zoning out. "Stiles!", Hayden and Sam yelled.
"Okay, okay.", Stiles begrudged.
"He's gotta heal on his own.", Sam said and Hayden looked at her in confusion. "He has to trigger it…"
Stiles spoke up. "Pain makes you human!"
Hayden looked at him. "He's already in pain."
"Right, okay, but maybe adding a little more could help take away the pain.", he said and Liam yelled in pain.
Sam immediately grabbed Liam's arm, absorbing his pain like she had done to Aiden and Stiles.
She groaned in pain, slowly stopping and quickly feeling nauseous again. She watched as Liam panted softly from the reduced pain.
Hayden frowned and grabbed Liam's face, pressing her lips on his. Moments later, he let out a breath.
"Next time I'll kiss him then.", Stiles muttered sarcastically and Hayden just chuckled at him.
Sam's eyes widened as she heard a familiar scream.
Scott.
She quickly ran out of the room, ignoring her friends' cries to stay as she ran down the hall.
She made a turn and saw the Beast slam its hand into a door and pull out the door before stabbing its claws into Scott's chest. Sam partially shifted and let out a loud roar at the beast, catching its attention.
It tossed Scott into the wall and she ran at the beast, slashing her darkened claws where she could reach.
The beast reached for the girl and growled at her, annoyed at her dodging and evasion.
The beast swung its arm, finally catching the girl off guard and slammed her into the wall next to her alpha. She groaned and recovered as best as she could, quickly helping him up.
He shook his head at her, "We have to run." Sam nodded and held her hand out, trying her best to pause the beast by its shadow as they ran into the library.
Scott fell down onto the floor and Sam helped him up again, resting him against a table. They paused as they saw a group of people hiding behind shelves.
"Go upstairs," Scott whispered and they followed his hushed direction.
The older werewolves paused and tensed at the sound of heavy footsteps and anticipated any attacks from the beast.
Suddenly, the door slammed open and it roared at them. Sam and Scott shifted and roared back at it.
They ran towards the beast, but before they could get a hit in, the beast easily smacked both of them away like bugs, slamming them into bookshelves.
Sam let out a yell as she managed to push the beast back by it's shadow once more. She struggled to get up, instantly sensing how much the shove affected the beast.
Scott and Sam managed to stand back up and chased after the beast once more.
The beast reached for Scott and clawed into his shoulder, tossing him into the stairs.
Sam stuck her own claw into the beast's shoulder, ducking away from its swinging.
The beast managed to grab the girl and threw her into another bookshelf.
The Beast went after the young alpha and Scott stared back at it, almost exhausted. It stood on its two legs. But before it could make a move, Liam ran beside his older packmates and Scott moved to the side as Liam jumped into the air. The Beast looked back and Liam smashed his fist against its face.
Suddenly, they heard shotguns and saw Braeden, who aimed her shotgun at the beast and Malia, who let out a low growl.
The Beast stumbled back but shook it off. Malia shifted and growled at it. The Beast growled but jumped out of the library's window and ran off.
Braeden helped them back up as Liam and Malia went to help Scott. They joined each other. Braeden looked at the teens with furrowed eyebrows. "You guys didn't seriously think you were gonna have a chance against that thing, did you?"
"No.", Scott breathed out. "But I got its scent."
Scott started to run out of the school. Liam and Sam quickly followed him.
"Scott, wait. You're hurt.", Liam said as they ran after him. "You gotta slow down."
Scott ran into the parking lot and his betas followed him. Suddenly, Scott stopped at one car. A black one. He lifted up the truck and then a pair of bloody shoes were there.
Mason.
Mason was the beast??
"Scott? Sam?", Mason called, confused and Sam immediately frowned at the boy. "What are you doing to my car?", he asked.
"It's you.", Scott said in realization.
Mason frowned. "What?" He looked over at Liam. "Liam, what's he talking about?"
"Mason.", Sam shook her head. "You're the Beast."
Mason looked at Liam. "Liam?"
Suddenly they caught Corey shifting back and grabbed Mason's shoulders.
"Corey!", Scott called after him. Unfortunately, the boy turned invisible and pulled Mason away. "Corey, wait!", Scott ran off, trying to run after them, but couldn't as he doubled over in pain.
The remnants of the pack stood under the moonlit sky. This entire time… Mason was the beast. Mason was causing the trouble and didn't even know it.

Hey, guys!
So, in response to the overwhelming love for my plus size belly dancing imagines...I've decided to do a little series.
I can't promise that they'll come out at rapid fire or that they'll all the same tone BUT they'll have a common denominator.
Plus size beauties doing some type of dance/artistic exercise.
Bellydance, hooping, pole dance, aerial silks, latin dancing, yoga, all kinds of things.
So...send me your dances and ideas!
Below, I've got a list of love interests in mind but if I'm forgetting something...just let me know!
Comment and let me know if you're interested in seeing this and please, please, please don't be shy!
Flood my ask box with requests because that's how I get the writing out to you guys!
Thank you, every one of you, for your lovely words!
I'm so thrilled that all of you like my writing.
