Who is your favorite driver ?

My holy trinity aka Ayrton, Elio and Mikka. In the current grid ? Probably Charles Leclerc.

Do you have other favorite drivers ?

Ofc ! I love Alain, Gilles, Gerhard, Nigel and ofc Schumi in classic F1 (and many other drivers too). For modern f1, I love Seb, Kimi and Jenson and if we count the current grid, Lewis, Oscar, Nando, Carlos and Lando (basically Ferrari and McLaren xD)

Who is your least favorite driver ?

I rarely dislike drivers, but as @thinkingaboutfilm11 said, FUCK Mazespin and Piquet and FUCK Jos Verstappen too !!!

Do you pull for drivers or do you like teams as well ?

Just like cycling, I'm mostly rooting for drivers in general, but I do have favorite teams as well ;)

If you like teams, what teams do you pull for ?

McLaren (if we forget what happened in Miami GP 💀) and Ferrari are my go to teams, maybe because most of my fav F1 drivers went there at one point of their careers xD

How long have you been into F1 ?

Maybe 2 years ? Idk

What got you into F1 ?

I'm the only one in my family who's into F1 (they root more for cycling), that explains the short answer prior. I watched a YouTube video when Ayrton's death was mentionned. Learning more about his life, I slowly got into the sport as well as many people in my highschool talked about it often. I'm still watching archives and learning about pilots as now ;)

Do you enjoy fanfic/RPF ?

YES. Fanfic writers keep going 💪

How do you view new fans ?

I don't care how they got into the sports, as long as they're invested. I despise gatekeeping in any forms of media I consume, and I like to talk about my hobbies, so any new fan is welcome to me ;)

Are your friends and family into F1 as well ?

As I said before, none of my family is interested in F1 (My dad "They only drive in circles and then ?"). But I found many people at uni who are into F1 (they even ran an F1 podcast in my uni's radio !), and even one of my close friend's boyfriend is a big F1 fan and can talk about classic drivers !

If you coukd take over as a team principal for a team, who would it be and why ?

Honestly, I don't have the balls to manage something in my life 😭 But maybe McLaren ? (FUCK FAT BROWN)

Are you open to talking to other fans ?

just a little note for virgil, in android au (and portal stories mel ig) he’s made in the 70s but as a human he was born much earlier than that. i wanted him and mel to be around the same age and they meet in the 50s era aperture 💆🏻💃🏻 apologies if things are unclear fhsjfjsj

a third batch will come in the future (i’ll include grady and portal revolution characters) and maybeee a fourth one for remaining characters like caroline, cave johnson, doug rattmann, the announcer (yes even him because i wanna design) and more. im crazy. im insane. fic reading ask game: wild card! ramble about something!

ramble topic for this is going to be how amazing i think the f1 fandom is at bringing writers and artists together! also doubling as a reading rec list!! i have seen so many great pieces of art based on fic and i've seen fic written inspired by art and both of these things bring me so much joy. recently @hotmandrivefast dropped some glorious qatar lestapiastri art that inspired @sincerelylancelot to write this banging (literally) accompaniment swipe the key (come inside)

a few other examples of this amazing symbiotic creation-culture:

@chamberkat drew some very compelling landoscar post singapore art that inspired me to write singapore heat, which they then made me cry by making some beautiful cover art for!! full circle and such an amazing gift.

another amazing collab recently featured @unlapped & @hotmandrivefast gifting us their shared vision for an austin winners room au. 10:35 is the fic and the two comics can be found here and here! alice also did some beautiful art for lia's fic bloodsport, which lives rent free in my mind!

then of course, the wonderful author who sent this ask @formula-fun, the love of my life, has gotten some amazing hmdf art for the awe-inspiring if i had words series - so many people have rec'd this fic, and i know it has touched a lot of hearts. in more light-hearted and raunchy fun, there's also this venom fic art for fire + sound. ok i could honestly go on and on, and there's so many more amazing examples. feel free to reblog and add to this list, i love to see author and artist collabs!
