Thinking about the duality of endstone reset Icarus “I don’t need to be fixed” Morningstar and third reset Icarus “after learning about me not being, entirely, me I need to work to fix everything I do wrong and fix myself to make up for the fact that it’s me” Morningstar

Just thinking about in the first reset Icarus when under corruption would always insist that they don’t need to be fixed. That this is how they were and nothing could change that. In the third reset, Icarus generally keeps that same mindset- but theres also that theme of fixing. Of them needing to be fixed because something was wrong with them. Of them needing to be fixed because their eye wasn’t *theirs* and that blood wasn’t theirs and-

And their death- being something fixing them. Fixing- getting rid of- the problem. Because they were a problem, and they were supposed to fix those. Icarus’s whole thing about fixing everything they’ve done just proceeds to extend to themself- thinking they need to be fixed that they’re broken or wrong because something in their head doesn’t seem to be quite right even if you ignore the eye not being theirs.

I just. Care. About Icarus and thinking they need to be fixed in particular.

Luz, to Amity: I told you he’d understand.

Willow: Remember, when burying a body, make sure to cover it with endangered plants so it’s illegal to dig up!

Hunter: There's something I have to ask about you-know-who.

Luz: Voldemort?

Hunter: No.

Luz: Is it Voldemort?

Luz: You haven’t mentioned wizards once this conversation, so I’m gonna have to assume it’s Voldemort.

Was messing around with the mod tools earlier to see if I could find anything interesting. I think this part's my favorite.

Not only the different handwritings being EXACTLY what you expect of them, but the little things-- Grooves does his 2s like I do, he makes the little line on his 7, he cares about the meticulous details about the way he looks and the way he presents himself through this and his image.

And Conductor's out here writing whatever caps he feels like, barely erasing things (Check out the "LIVE!!" part for that), demolishing a stick of chalk on this (All the places it's running out of energy) and the way that he just makes it work for every single take because peck it, who cares, the only people seeing this are him and the owls and the owls won't pay attention anyways, so it's really just him and he doesn't care about the details that aren't on his train.

That, and every time I see a bit of written text anywhere, I always have to check if it's a font. Neither of these are-- Chek how DJ's i's are dotted with different stars throughout-- and Conductor's R's (Especially clear when you look at the one in "brought" or the one in "angry")

10/10 work here, big fan, love the subtleties here :3
