hello holly! we’re an appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
so, firstly, i think your rp is very pretty. i think the theme, whoever did it, is really nice, and that certainly caught my attention. the concept is also really cool – i especially like the whole idea of basing characters off tarot cards, i think that’s so interesting. i wouldn’t have thought of something like that. the plot doesn’t make an awful lot of sense to me, but i think that might be because i haven’t read the series connected to your rp.
but… the point system. for me, that’s the biggest turn off in an rp. it’s not enticing, it doesn’t encourage me to be more active, it’s honestly exhausting. i’m not here to do maths and count up my points, i’m here to have fun plots and ships and whatever else. i’m not even sure i understand why you would have a points system within this rp ? like, i have once before been in an rp with a points system, where you got points for posting social media edits, because it was a rp with a fame plot. it made sense, but it was exhausting to keep up. it’s very clear you’ve put in effort with the points but i just think that’s going to turn people away, because it’s complicated. that alone would make this a hard pass for me.
ultimately, your rp is nice, and your admins seem nice ( which is always, always important ! ), but there’s too many rules, too many things to remember, too much trying to force people to be active. it would stress me out as a player, because i would have to keep track of my points as well as my threads, and it would be too much. i don’t know how enticing this is going to be for other people, especially because it’s a bit of a niche plot, as well. ultimately, this is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. good luck !

hello kath! we’re an appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day! (also, we love your theme!)
Hii! You absolutely can get an opinion for me.
Theme/aesthetics:We have the same theme!! I love the look of your rp. Its clear and it isn’t hard to look at. You have a very organized nav.
Plot: Your plot is written well. I love that you are trying to be inclusive by not using canon characters. It definitely makes it easier on people who don’t know about the books.
Pages: The rules are reasonable and straight forward. Locations look amazing. I love the small details you’ve included. I haven’t heard on the point system being used in the rpc but I think that’s an awesome incentive for your members to stay active in the rpg.
Overall: I think you have a good rp going and this is a definitely rec for me!

hello olivia! we’re an appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
hello! i would love to give you an opinion. i’ve been meaning to establish a format for these asks, shaped mainly for the purpose of this blog which is to increase the amount of diversity, representation and accessibility of the rpc!!
AESTHETICS. love the neutral colors of the photos, the background, and the text. it’s not too much on the eyes and the filter isn’t too much for the sidebar photos. in fact, the filter is kind of perfect for the vibe i get from the roleplay! definitely stick with the neutrals, although the bold red is, in my opinion, working
INFORMATION. i would probably add a separate page for players’ triggers, as well as add that to the application and possibly delete that bit on the acceptance post if anonymity is what you’re going for! that’s definitely important to have if players are unsure of what to tag, or what not to tag!
POSTS. the main seems to be really active which is great, definitely keep that up and keep posting in the tags. i love that this rp is getting attention, i think you really deserve it. i would probably use gif icons that are clear, aka without a filter probably, or even better is just normal size medium gifs for those who may not be able to see them as easily as others. i love the positive vibes, though! that’s always a good thing to have, considering a lot of admins will be very serious and professional on the main which is totally fine, but also can be intimidating!
DIVERSITY. when i looked at this earlier, my heart just swelled because there was a kpop fc that was accepted! i think there could definitely be more poc, considering there is only ¼ at the moment according to the fc page. also, genders!! definitely encourage players to bring in nonbinary, genderqueer, and genderfluid characters! also, 30+ fcs and plus size fcs too. that is super, super important to represent as many different types, sizes, ethnicities, etc., of people so all players feel included and valid!! this is something the entire rpc needs to work on and it could deifnitely be as easy as having a diverse, unique character as an admin, leading by example, and encouraging it in promotion posts, asks and even the main page.
ACCESSIBILITY. other than the fact that it was a little difficult to find a link to the main page from one of the pages, that could be just me. the font is perfectly clear + the colors of the text, so no complaints there. it probably could be a size larger, but still better than a lot of the fonts / font sizes i’ve seen on group mains! i mentioned the gif thing a bit earlier, but that would go in this section as well.
OVERALL. i love the raven cycle series, and this is definitely one of the most unique & creative groups i’ve seen. i love the concept of a points system, the aesthetics, the pages, the vibe on the main. it’s great, but there can definitely be improvements made where diversity is concerned!! you don’t have to make your font bigger, use normal gifs or any suggestion i made, as it is a suggestion & opinion and i am not THE expert. all in all, it is your group and i think you’re doing great!!

hello trev! we’re a semi-appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
Definitely! Keep in mind that this is just my opinion and you can take it with a grain of salt. If you need any clarification on anything within this opinion, let me know! First and foremost, I love the theme you’re using and it’s one I’ve used for RP mains before. I will say the background repeats for me, although this could just be my screen size and may look perfectly fine on your end. On THIS post right here, you can’t see what is written. You have to hover over it so you may just want to take a look on your html and change the color. It seems as if the font/link color is the same as the background color. Overall, your theme, graphics, and even the ‘are you awake’ on the graphic draws me in and makes me want to learn more on what this role-play is about. I really dig the PLOT. It gives me everything that I look for in a plot. It’s interesting, it’s mysterious, and it’d make me consider joining just based off that. Your RULES are short, sweet, and to the point. Some suggestions would be to add consequences for those that do become cliquey or god-mod, or are over all just being immature. You could go by a three strike rule and you’re out or if this happens then they’re automatically out of the group, etc. For your starter rule, I would add something a bit more specific instead of just apply to as many starters as possible. It may seem obvious to reply to more than one starter but some people might take it and run with it. Maybe put ‘must reply to at least three starters before making your own’. Onto your CHARACTERS. I was a little confused by this. Maybe that’s due to not knowing enough about tarot cards even though I see that you have links for applicants to learn more about tarot cards. This might be a little confusing to others as well. I would maybe consider making a page where you can give some details or at least highly some important information for each. You can still keep the links but it might be easier to understand with a bit more information. FINAL THOUGHTS: Other than the few things I touched on, this looks like a really cool group and one that I will be urging people to go and check out. I wish all the best of luck with your group!

hello liz! we’re a semi-appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
to preface my opinion, i don’t know squat about the raven cycle, so if anything i comment on is just an aspect of that series i’m unaware of, obvs disregard me. of course, these are all just based on my personal thoughts and you can do with them what you like.
your plot is simple, but by no means is that a bad thing. i feel like a lot of times supernatural rps can get bogged down by over-elaborate plots, but your’s gives just enough information to keep me wondering. i absolutely love that you include the notion of “yes and” in your guidelines because that’s something i say to my friends all of the time that will (hopefully) serve you well. i would advise slipping something in regarding the topic of underage smutting, just to make sure you keep things on the up and up in that department. your app covers a lot of the big points, but i would encourage you to add a spot for the mun to put their triggers to give applicants an easy, lower pressure way to come to you about things they’d like to have tagged. you link to biddytarot on your tarot page which is very helpful, but i would recommend linking to it again on your faq instead of just redirecting to that page. i love your points system, and the idea that they can actually be redeemed for something that really plays into the plot of the overall group. your world building is excellent, and i feel like i already have a better idea of what kind of town henrietta is. the one complaint i have is that personally, i find your tarot page a bit daunting. my advice would be to keep your links to biddy tarot, which has all of the information of the long list of card options, and maybe use it to track taken cards only instead of just list every possible option? but thats nitpicky and totally a personal thing. overall, i think this looks like an interesting rp, and i wish you the best of luck!

hello doll! we’re a semi-appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
good morning!! i know you lovelies have been waiting on this for a while, so thank you so much for being patient. my opinion of your group is under the cut.
all right, so let’s start with your URL. i think anyone who knows what a ley line is would automatically get the reference && understand your url. i had heard of a ley line once or twice so i was familiar with the term, but i still had to do some looking into it because i wasn’t certain that it meant what i thought it meant. however, the url is very straightforward && doesn’t have any unnecessary abbreviations or hyphens.
next is your ICON. personally, just am not a fan of your icon. i’m sorry, but i believe it could’ve been better made with more time && effort. although i think the photo you chose is relevant to your group, the spacing of the text is just off to me.
now let’s talk about your THEME. usually, i like larger themes for rpg mains, i think it makes them look more professional, but i’m not sure if this is the case when it comes to yours. the colors && graphics are very well done, but i just feel like the theme itself has too much nothing. there are a lot of blank areas on the theme && it’s my personal opinion that it makes the background feel disconnected with the rest of the theme instead of merging together to form a cohesive aesthetic.
i’m going to talk about your PLOT now. i do love the way you have written the plot, it’s beautiful && a joy to read. the plot itself is an interesting one; i’ve never read the Raven Cycle before, but the way you’ve described your rpg makes me want to. also, major kudos for the ocs being based on tarot cards. that is an amazingly unique concept!
now let’s move on to the ADMIN PRESENCE. it seems like you’re a little inconsistent, but by no means inactive. on some days, you’re only on once or twice and others you’ve posted four-five times in one day. i’d like to see you balance that a little more so your presence is more consistent on the main. i know some of the inconsistencies might come from not getting questions or apps every day, or even getting more than usual,, but make sure people know that you’re around && they’ll be more likely to apply!
moving on to the OVER ALL FEEL. i think what makes this rpg so unique to me is that it has a daunting atmosphere, but is somehow not so intimidating that i don’t feel nervous to join it. the concept is slightly dark, but at the same time i could see a number of my own muses that are not suited for dark concept rps fitting into this one. it’s very interesting, && i’m curious to see it make waves in the tag.
the CONCLUSION. there were a couple of grievances that i had with cosmetic decisions in the rpg, but all in all i think this is a beautifully written && masterfully executed rpg with an admin that seems to be passionate about the plot. it’s an extremely unique concept && i would definitely recommend it to anyone in search of this kind of group! best of luck, babes!!

hello thalia! we’re a semi-appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
I would be happy to give you an opinion! But please remember that this is solely my opinion and is not meant to be offensive in any way.
So let’s get started, I like your url it’s short and sweet and to the point. The image you have chosen for your icon is particularly interesting, however, I am not a fan of “ley hq” which you have so separately on the icon. The L looks chopped off and it looks rather sloppy in comparison to your main (which is absolutely gorgeous).
I am in love with your theme and the way you have chosen to design it. It’s been a while since I have been able to fully scroll down the screen and not just have a little box so I am very appreciative of this.
Your navigation is nicely laid out and easy to navigate so that’s nice. Getting to your plot, I have never read the raven cycle before (though I have been dying to do so), but your plot is still very comprehensive to me. And it is beautifully written, so poetic. I am in love with it.
I am also a fan of your application format since it encompasses everything you need to know about the applicant and the way they desire to play the character. Also, I am always a sucker for this: “Put anything else you’d like us to know here. Possibly elaboration or changes to a power they might have, additional information about their backstory, or any ideas.“ Because it allows the admin further insight when the decision becomes tough on whom to accept.
Your rules seem to entail everything they need to so I have nothing to say here.
I am very appreciative of the pages you have dedicated to locations, points, powers, leadership, etc. They really help the applicant fully understand the rp even if they haven’t read the books.
Overall I must say I am very impressed with this roleplay and I definitely REC it.

hello! we’re a semi-appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
hi there, of course ! big disclaimer that this is, of course, just my opinion and you shouldn’t feel obligated to listen to anything i say ! everything’s under the cut, i hope i helped !
so, in terms of the theme, i looove it. the banner gives it a really nice vibe and leaves me wondering what the group is about, so definitely retains interest. the links, fonts, etc are so nice for someone like me who has bad eyesight. you made your main very accessible and easy to read which is awesome. i absolutely looove your plot, i definitely feel like i know enough about it to make it through the roleplay without previous knowledge of the base content. plus you seem so sweet i wouldn’t be afraid to ask for clarification ! i loooooove the activity rule, it’s more lax than others and as a struggling college student i appreciate it so much, since it’s not three days or whatever the kids are doing now. your starter rule abt placing the burden of the thread topic on the person who replies is sO BEAUTIFUL …. i hate not being able to reply to starters because i can’t think of what to have my character respond to “what did you say?” but yes, kudos to you for that !
as for suggestions, perhaps make the color of the links on the navi page a bit darker since they resemble the background so much its just a teeny bit hard on the eyes. maaaybe have the background picture pop a little bit more, if that makes sense?? so it goes together well with the header a bit more, since they’re colored somewhat differently. also, make sure to keep in mind that the tarot card aspect may be new to a few people, so they might need time to research and become familiar with not just that but the other aspects of this grp as well, so don’t get discouraged if not a lot of apps are coming in quickly !!
i think that the people who apply will really be dedicated because of the effort they’ll have to put into their apps, so this group has the potential to last a very long time. i don’t know, this group is so good i’m pretty much being super nit picky so this opinion can be at least a lil but constructive and helpful. overall i love this group so much it was soooo hard to come up with any sort of flaws ! i wish you so much luck and i’ll definitely be watching this group closely !

hello guppy! we’re a semi-appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
Oh, heck yeah! Let me go ahead and give you my opinion! Here’s the disclaimer, per usual, before I get started - this opinion is in no way, shape, or form meant to harm the admins! It’s just my opinion and should be taken with a grain of salt, and I do not mean any intentional harm because I value all the work admins put into their groups. Let’s get this thing started, right? (Wow, it got really long, so please read under the cut for the full opinion!)
Okay, the url is beautifully short and simple, and, unless someone didn’t know what a ley line is, it helps me understand your plot a bit more. I like your icon, because I can tell it’s a skull which gives me those spooky vibes. However, I think the text over it is a bit excessive. I would either have just LHQ, or no text at all because it looks a little strange over the icon. Moving on to the main, I love the theme you used! It’s beautifully constructed, and the header graphic is really interesting. I think the part that is peeving me the most is the background, which doesn’t seem to have the same coloring as the rest of the graphics. I would suggest having a more cohesive background just to make sure that everything goes together nicely! The last thing I would suggest is moving the “map” navigation link right after the “home” and “message” buttons. This just helps someone get straight to the navigation so they’re not digging through the other links beforehand. But, otherwise, the theme looks fine and I actually like the color scheme that you chose to go along with the graphics! I think choosing a background that picks up that red color in the scheme would really tie everything together. Onto the navigation, which I really love! I think it’s nice that you can kinda figure that you’re saying “before” and “after” acceptance with your titles, but they’re really creative! I would suggest moving all of the things such as “roles and powers”, and taken things before the application. Just so that people are checking those things out before they apply and possibly didn’t look through those links before they started filling out their application. Otherwise, everything seems to be in order and I dig it!
Plot time, my favorite time! I really love the descriptive language about the town used in the plot. It makes it interesting and draws me into everything about the town. I think there are some things that could be cleared up, and I would love to see them included into the plot. I think that giving more of a call to action to the characters that would be played is important. Perhaps, you could mention in the St. Mark’s Day paragraph that the powers of the players’ characters will be awoken. Also, there’s this sentence, “... the objects it spawns attracts vultures to the streets, hawking the artifacts as if they were shiny and new.” Which confused me quite a bit. I have read the books, so I was wondering if it was an obscure reference to something within them. But, as far as I can tell this sentence was just confusing to me. I think that if you explain what kind of vultures and what exactly they’re taking from Cabeswater. I don’t know, it’s just a strangely worded sentence and I understood it a bit more after reading it, but it could use some clean up. My final suggestion is to add to the end summary a bit more! I saw links to a point system, and I think that this is the perfect opportunity to explain that you’ll have a points system and provide links to it. I also think that you could explain that the characters will have powers within the summary. It feels very bare and like it has a loose connection to the plot I just read. If you had included more details on the overall roleplay, it would have added a great deal to the plot and roleplay itself. Otherwise, the prose you’ve written is wonderful, and I love the idea of a Raven Cycle roleplay since I’m a huge fan of the books. I’ll be going over the locations page and other associated plot pages now. I caught one mistake on the locations page, “A variety of business dot the main street of Henrietta.” This should be, “A variety of businesses dot the main street of Henrietta.” Overall, the locations page is a nice addition and I like all that it adds to the worldbuilding of Henrietta. I love the points system idea, and I know that it would absolutely encourage activity in the roleplay! I think that setting limits is wonderful, and that there’s an activity points system as well! I think you should suggest ways that the character can keep track of their own points, because I know for a fact I would be lost as hell if I had to keep track of my own points, I’m really unorganized! I’d also suggest explaining what “post-level points” are because there’s been no mention of “levels” so far. I suppose you meant after you’ve gone past the maximum amount of activity points? But, I could be wrong! I think that all of the rewards are sound and very interesting, I would really be working with a character to try and reach a new object! Great job putting together such an interesting way to progress the storyline. Oh, that reminds me of the other thing I was going to suggest! You should have a form that the players fill out when submitting a plot drop idea! That way you won’t just get random plot drops all the time, and it would be a bit more organized. The other pages I took a look at were the timeline and the power/roles page. The timeline page really helped me get a better grasp on the plot. I would have been able to understand the plot a bit better if most of these things had been included in the plot summary! I didn’t realize that the dream comas were an important aspect of the plot in the beginning, so I’d suggest adding the dream comas into the summary or making sure to highlight that a bit more in the actual plot. I love that you’re trying to balance out the magical and non-magical characters - similar to that of the actual Raven Cycle characters. It would be cool if you added a ghost section to the powers page, I know you have it as a part of the points system, but perhaps there could be one person who is already a ghost. That would be really interesting in driving the plot forwards.
This has all been plot things, so far, but let me move onto the rules! I think that I would give the penalties for godmodding, cliques, etc. It’s well known that they shouldn’t happen, but what would the admin do to handle that specific situation? Also, by mentioning you don’t accept “problematic” FCs, this is very subjective. Outlining exactly what is considered as problematic behavior (bigoted actions that have not been apologized for, actual arrests/convictions, allegations, etc.) would help to clear up any misconceptions between you and the players! Give the players a bit more information so you don’t end up in an uncomfortable position. I would also say on the character rule what the limit is. Right now, there is no limit set, so potentially someone could apply for an infinite number of characters! While unlikely, it could get out of hand with one person occupying several spaces that could go to others. I would also consider whether you want to set a limit on how many magical/leadership characters a single player can take up. Final suggestion is to add a rule on how the dash should look. Do you allow small/medium gifs? Gif icons? What kinds of themes? All of these are questions that should be answered in some kind of dash rule. No stone left unturned, right? I checked out the checklist (see what I did there) and some of the other pages just to wrap everything up. I think that your checklist is well done, but I would just add some links to suggested, clean, readable themes! Aside from that, everything looks wonderful for the checklist! The other page I would suggest rearranging is the taken tarot cards page! It would be really helpful if you just had every single card that can be taken listed on the page so that someone doesn’t have to go looking through every tarot link before deciding. I would also make sure to clarify if there are some cards that could potentially have two characters filling the role (such as the lovers). Finally, the app count would be so cool if it were separated by the type of card rather than just a list of every single FC applied for as of yet! Lastly, let me go over the application. I love the depth it goes into, and it really lets you engage with the idea of the character! Overall, it’s really well done and I love the effort the admin has put into the application!
Now, I’m done rambling on about everything. After taking a look through every nook and cranny of this roleplay, I can really see this going places. I would apply, too, and might even be applying once my schedule clears up a bit. I had seen this floating around in the tags, and it’s nice to know there are fellow Raven Cycle fans out and about! Good luck with everything, and you’ve received a recommendation from me. Thanks for letting me take a look. This truly is a magical roleplay.

hello! we’re a semi-appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
Hi sweetheart, I do very deeply apologize for the delay of my response!! But yes, you darlings most certainly can!
Though please do keep in mind that this is a thoroughly full review & very honest opinion which means that besides pointing out the roleplay’s good features, it also might include some slightly critical opinions/points/thoughts if I do find any slight shortcomings but it’ll be purely constructive criticism/advice, as all I aim, is to help you as I best as I can, to make your rpg better, if there is any need of it ;) And please also bear in mind, that this is just merely an opinion from my own perspective & that you guys do not have to agree with it nor take any of suggestions if feel there’s no need to. :)
You can find your opinion/review under the cut. I really hope that you’ll find this helpful, sweetheart!!
Aesthetics: Okay, first off, I think that your graphics are amazing and convey the theme and vibes of your roleplay’s plot & concept very well, so kudos!! Your chosen font type is lovely & I ADORE YOUR FONT SIZE as it is very relaxing on the eyes and so clear & easy to read! You have chosen a very good theme for your roleplay too!! I just simply cannot stress enough how important font type & sizes that are used for an rpg’s main is, as some admins sometimes fail to realize that there are a percentage of rpers in the community who have eye-related problems or issues, thus readability on the main, is a very important aspect to cover. So I do applaud you for having covered this particular aspect very well!Plot: Although I do love your wording style & varied vocabulary usage, your plot overall, although unique & certainly pretty original, is still quite unclear to me, personally. Maybe it’s just me and I’m sorry, but unfortunately, I still don’t fully comprehend the plot. It still seems like a pretty prose to me or a summary of sorts and I don’t fully understand what exactly is the rpg’s direction of what kind of plot background I’m entering into if I were to apply, since I have never read that book before. I would suggest expanding on your plot-write up to make it a bit more detailed, like how exactly does magic work in the town and what are the origins of the supernatural elements in the town. Besides that, I still don’t get what exactly is “the ley line” and what is it all about? like is it dangerous? how it was created? And overall I just would love a definition/explanation para about it as well on St.Mark’s day, which I am equally clueless about. Maybe you could write up the information on the ley line & St. Mark’s Day on another page, and link that page to your plot page?:)
Navigation & Topbar links: They are perfect! No need to change a thing! Rules: I love them so much!! All the necessary & basic rules are in there & they are all very reasonable! Plus I especially love the fact that you gave explanation on godmodding starters & the improv technique to be sometimes used during replies, as godmodding starters and very short one-liner replies, that contains no material at all for me to work with in order to give a good & substantial thread response, are two of my biggest rping pet peeves. By gently explaining to your members on this rule on this page of yours, it would most certainly help to remind your members on this particular, lesser- applied, rping ettiqutte and to ensure a more enjoyable, easy and highly interesting group rping experience for everyone involved.
Application: For a semi-appless rp, I find your app to be slightly more intensive than the usual application forms, most semi-appless roleplays have. However, it doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing, it’s just that it’s different and you obviously have justifiable reasons on why you require that amount of information, so, though uncommon, it still looks pretty alright to me.
Other important pages: All your other pages seems perfectly well-done to me and I especially love your tarot, roles and residents pages so much due to the very helpful & wide variety of links your provided in there for further information & readings, since your rp is loosely based on a certain book fandom. Your locations page is a big star in my book also!! The graphics are lovely & the short blurb explanations are just enough & perfect! your points page is highkey intriguing and pretty unique and very interesting roleplay angle I rarely see being incorporated nowadays. That actually might be the biggest factor in drawing me in to apply for your rolplay, right now. haha XD
Extras: Your co-admin app is also very perfectly done up in my opinion and doesn’t look intimidating at all to any interested co-admin applicants out there.
And last but not least, I wish you the very best of luck for your roleplay & I hope that you’ll be able to get the number of apps you need in order to open up your roleplay very soon!! I adore your pretty unique roleplay a lot so I’ll be adding your roleplay into my recs page as well!!

hello! we’re a semi-appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
& * REVIEWS / OPINIONS #001.
✧・゚:* Hiya ! I see that you are seeking my humble and honest opinion on your roleplay. I am more than willing to give you just that. That being said the statements below the cut are completely OPINIONS. I do hope you do not take anything the wrong way ( though I will NEVER be rude, hateful, etc. it just doesn’t make any sense nor is it constructive. ) So, without further ado, under the read more you will be able to read my honest opinion. xoxo.
& * AT FIRST GLANCE…
woah, it looks super neat. sort of gives off some kind of science / horror vibe. I really like the title ‘Are you awake?’ honestly that just adds to the vibes listed above. It makes me want to take a look further!
& * GRAPHICS & HTML….
I love the theme, I am a sucker for header themes. Personally I think that they are perfect for group roleplay blogs. The header graphic itself is rather awesome, the hands overlapping the title is so pleasing to see! I love how the pages are fixed up HTML wise, gets straight to the point and is not confusing at all! Over all I’d give ya five golden stars based on looks alone.
& * THE PLOT…..
First things first, I am not aware or familiar of the story that is is based off of. But it seems to be rather descriptive off this written plot alone. I can not say that is the kind of group that I would be interested in but I do know that there are PLENTY of writers who love groups like this one. I have no doubt that the plot will help this group bloom.
& * APPLICATION……
I see that this is a semi-appless group and those are always fun. The form itself is not hard at all. I love that you ask questions for the applicant to answer! OH MY GOD AND THE BONUS QUESTIONS I CAN NOT EVEN, THAT IS A BRILLIANT IDEA. A lot of writers on here are rather creative and will just eat those optional questions up!
Thank you for asking for my opinion! If you ever need anything else please, don’t hesitate to let me know!
xoxo, Sassy

hello! we’re a semi-appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
hi lovely ! my opinion will be under the cut ! disclaimer: this is solely my opinion so remember to take it with a grain of salt and you should ultimately do what you want with your group !
so first thing’s first, i absolutely adore your theme! i think the graphics are gorgeous and simple enough that they aren’t overwhelming. also, the main is easy to navigate, however i think the button to get to the next page is a bit small and might be hard to find. i did have to google what a ley line is, but i think that’s a good thing because it’s an original idea! even though it’s based on a book series, i think the explanation in the plot is descriptive enough so you really don’t need to have any knowledge about the series in order to participate and have fun with it. i like the list of things you think should be tagged in case they’re triggering because that makes any members feel safe. i know that can be tricky sometimes because people are afraid to come forward with their triggers sometimes. i also really really like the explanation about starters in the rules. i’ve noticed sometimes muns intend to play their characters as rude or short, so one word responses fit them, but as the mun of the opposite character, finding a way to respond can be difficult and frustrating. i think that rule really encourages muns to discuss and cooperate when it comes to deciding how a thread will go, which is very very important when it comes to plotting. i think the map/navigation page and it’s subtitles are super creative, and all around, it looks like you put a lot of heart into this group! i hope it does well, peach!

the theme aesthetic is definitely one i’m not used to; it reminds of an aesthetic i would’ve see a few years ago. but, i feel like it also fits the roleplay feel somehow ? i’m not familiar with what ‘on the raven cycle’ is but since your rp is based on it, i’m sure fans will love the idea. plus, they can also refer to that book if they need any inspiration. the plot is concise and in small paragraphs but gives all the needed information for the plot which is good ( my A.D.D. ass hates long paragraphs, but i’m just one person ). this roleplay personally isn’t my cup of tea, but i wish you luck on your roleplay !

hello mimi! we’re a semi-appless roleplay about a town on a ley line. could we please get an opinion? thank you very much and have a great day!
omg okay i loved the raven cycle so i’m super hype to see an rp surrounding that concept ? the plot is definitely written well enough for people who aren’t familiar with the book to understand what the premise is so definitely props to that. i love how you’re taking another element of the book ( tarot cards ) and tying it into the rp. one issue i have is that the tarot card page was kinda hard to find ? i think there should be a link on the residents page because that one is immediately what i would go to first in order to see which role i could take. you provide a lot of info for roles, powers, etc. that people could take up which is super nice because it can help people start brainstorming with ideas. i’m not a big fan of the theme but it’s just not my style personally. it’s def super easy to navigate though and the banner going across the top is spooky in a really good way. i think with some small changes on the character page, you’ll be good to go lovely ! best of luck with this rp ! it has such a unique concept.
