My son. MY SON. I love this stupid dummy dum-dum idiot fartface. He was my original favorite!! I played his route the most at first when I first accidentally downloaded this game. Either way, 10/10 character very squishy very lovable

Wow what a boy! What a goober! I stole his name. Very good name. He was my second favorite. I love his character arc. The first ending I got in his route was him going insane and killing madame mediocre with hammer. Honestly great ending in my opinion I didn't really appreciate madame mediocre's presence

I love this gal. She's so silly. I would like to paint with her and talk about horses because horses are a FUCKASS thing to fixate on (/vpos) and I love it. I love KAREN DUNN. She deserves the world and I would give it to her in a HEARTBEAT if I could but I'm unfortunately not strong enough to lift the entire world 😞

anyways re: my last original post, i'm not gonna pretend i don't have OPINIONS about fiction, and about the way others enjoy their fiction. i mean hell, yesterday i made a post wherein i basically said "i don't get why so many people are fixated on the Gem History lore plotline instead of X character heavy plotline I personally prefer" lol

BUT

i do want to make it clear that despite any opinions I give about what I happen to prefer, other people are entitled to enjoy shows and stories and games in whatever ways they wish. my opinion is just one singular opinion in the sands of existence, and should not be the end-all be-all take on fandom.

He is definitely up there in age and most of us will outlive him, yes. The question is whether or not we'll have a working democracy by the time he's done. He doesn't want us to have the ability to vote, and will probably try to simply name someone to take over when he's on his deathbed. We wouldn't be able to vote a president that we want in by that time, which is one of the many reasons we didn't want him to win the election in the first place.

i do think there is a degree to which certain kinds of Instagram activists have convinced themselves that traumatising themselves in solidarity is a useful form of activism. "I'm having nightmares and crying so much I want to be sick because of all these videos of dying children but I can't look away while people are getting hurt" I mean don't you think you'd be able to help more if you weren't having nightmares and crying all the time?? don't you think this is a one-way trip to burnout? don't you think maybe increasing the amount of trauma going around is counterproductive? I dunno bro there's something to be said for bearing witness but there comes a point where you gotta look hard at yourself and go "am I helping, or am I just making myself suffer so I don't feel guilty for not suffering while somebody else is experiencing bad shit"

I think cis people should also be their gender of choice. Like, if you're a man, you should get to really enjoy being a man- have fun with it! If you're a woman, take the parts of womanhood that really deeply make you happy. If being a little androgynous or ambiguous or hidden is the part that really makes you happy, you don't have to be trans for that. If you wanna lean really hard into being femme or masc- do it! You have one life in your body, do what makes you happy. Ditch the stuff you don't like.

My last post was being snarky but here's my genuine pronoun etiquette opinion in case you actually want to know: it's pretty much never a good idea to directly ask someone their pronouns in front of a group of people, especially if you're in a position of authority, i.e. a teacher. The stakes of this question are very high for some people and you are putting them on the spot to decide what they want to share and what is safe to share. If you have decided you want to ask for pronouns at all, you can introduce yourself with your own to remind people that they can share theirs if they want to. And for the love of god whatever you do please do not just single out the most gender non-conforming or "trans looking" (to you) person and ask only them and no one else

Absolutely. In any other election, I would've agreed that you shouldn't cut people off, but not in this one. There is such a vast difference between the supporters on either side, I don't know how you would be able to participate in the same conversation. I would do this, too.

I'm lucky enough that where I live, and the family I come from, are all democratic. I think there is only one Republican in my family, and he recently moved out of the state with his wife so I don't see him often. If he visits, however, I will not be attending holidays with him.

I find this absolutely hilarious. Your vote in an election is not like an opinion you give between two people, you can't take it back once the votes are counted. It disappoints me how naive American citizens can be in the workings of an election. I didn't used to be a political person, but this election awakened a fire in me that I hadn't felt before. The country needed to wake up a long time ago, but we failed to do that before he was re-elected. We may not have the ability to vote at the end of his term because citizens chose not to do their research first.

There is no taking it back. What we can do is continue to support pro-democracy leaders and news stations, like Meidas, and utilize the resources we're given by those leaders.
