we are a discord-based, 19+ muns/30+ muses rp, set in brookeline, new york — a fictional city that combines all our favourite parts of new york city and atlantic city, located on the coast!

relaxed, semi-appless, 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒕 brings together a grab bag of various slice-of-life plots, and characters inspired by taylor swift's albums. our focus is fun, low-stakes events and development activities that encourage relationship building and social interactions across songs, collaboration with other writers that ultimately makes the rp juicier and more fun for everyone involved:

A South Korean ship was spotted dead in the water outside the New York City harbor. The first two teams sent out to investigate disappeared without word, and eventually the Coast Guard towed the ship to shore. The moment that she landed, the outbreak started – hoards of the undead flooding from the rusted depths of the dead ship and spilling over onto the docks. Within a week the entire city had been overrun, forcing survivors into hiding inside and on top of buildings. Now, two weeks since the infection started, the power has finally gone out for the last time, fresh water is no longer being pumped through the pipes beneath the city, and the only movement in the streets are from the thousands of zombies that mill around waiting for something fresh and living to devour.Trapped inside the historical twelve story apartment affectionately named “The Wexley”, known for it’s mishmash of architectural styles that somehow make it charmingly ugly, it’s residents are doing what they can to survive until help comes.

March 2nd, 2024;

With numbers greatly reduced after a single horrible day, the remaining handful of Wexley Residents now can't help but hope and wait for their lost friends and relatives to return with the thawing of the snow.

there was a beautiful castle known to the realm as Tarsington Palace. Surrounded by the deep waters of crystal blue moats and etched into the tall cliffs of mountains, Tarsington palace along with its large town was known for its diversity, friendly atmosphere, and most of all its brilliant markets where all the finest vendors from all the land gathered to sell goods and build relationships with one another. Its royal family, The Başar’s, were a quiet family of humans who ruled with fairness, empathy, and a concern for the well-being of all those who they had been entrusted to protect from neighboring kingdoms. The species of the land albeit having their own grievances with one another got along. The Kingdom of Absentia was peaceful. A safe haven for all those who did not have a place in the greater world.
