so this is the first time i'm saying anything publicly in any way about this and it's kinda scary tbh!

my name is lex. cade is another member of the system. we're not 100% sure on like, if this is DID/OSDD or whatever, we do not have the money to go private due to all of the disabilities and waiting lists for mental health support on the nhs is pretty ridiculous, but there has been some peer review

we don't really use tumblr hugely atm and part of that is because we've had a whole load of overwhelm lately and have kinda been shutting down. since we were last super active on this blog, we've had a really big breakup, and some new relationships have happened, and of course this discovery!

i'm hopefully going to be getting back into writing and gifmaking really soon, but we'll see how things go!

happy new year, supernatural fandom! thought i’d make a bit of an intro post to my project, since i’m a few posts in now.

you may have seen my art around the past couple weeks—i’m painting a still from every single episode of supernatural as i rewatch it.

yeah really every episode. don’t even worry about it<3

i’ve currently posted 7/327 (!!!) and i have most of the first season planned out now. i’m hoping to get more followers in january as i really get in the thick of it, have some polls to vote on what stills to use sometimes or something fun like that.

i’ve been at this for a few years now, and never when i started this blog could i have imagined it continuing to grow the way it has. i’ve met so many kind people, heard so many kind things, the numbers hardly matter to me anymore—but it’s still a milestone, and a satisfyingly round one at that. so i wanted to thank my followers new and old for wanting to see my art enough to hit that button, i hope to see you around for a long time! i thought i’d share a self portrait, in a sort of roundabout way to connect to you all on a personal level. i see each of your likes, reblogs, and tags from the other side of this screen, and they mean the world to me 💜

feels we’re due another intro post, so—hello, supernatural fandom! you have probably seen me around by now over the past few months. i’m painting one still from every single episode of supernatural. i’m three seasons down, on to the fourth, and i’m very proud of what i’ve created so far!

i thought i should make another post explaining the project now that i’m getting into the meat of the narrative and i’ve hit cas. i think season four is my most ambitious season yet and i’m so excited to share what i’ve been working on with you all. here’s some of my favorite stills❣️

without spoiling any plot (which is frankly not the main draw for most people who like it anyway) i’d say common themes are grief, trauma, addiction, and guilt. it’s about running away it’s about coming home it’s about never being able to go home because home went up in flames a long time ago but that doesn’t stop you from trying to find home again anyway. it manages to be all this and still a relatively easy watch for the most part, which is some kind of witchcraft or something. it’s genuinely very gripping but makes sure to pepper in moments of humor or mundane character beats that really keep it grounded. i actually recommend everyone tries the pilot just to see if it hooks them, because if it does boy are you in for a ride.

What the fuck is SPN about I know essentially nothing about spn but I feel like I should know because Tumblr is literally the domain for spn but I get all my news from that one image of the destiel guy saying I Love You to the other guy please what is this show about
