slime rancher used to be one of my favorite games to watch a playthrough of! in fact, i didn't even know english at the time - i would watch a channel in my native language play it ^^ im unfamiliar with the recent updates, but the original game was lovely to me.

good god, undertale was one of the building blocks for my entire idea of fandom. i had oc's, au's, i had an amino (i know, im sorry) for undertale roleplay and i watched almost everything undertale related i could find. undertale was the reason i got into any sort of fandom or creation! my first art piece i clearly remember being of a character was for my undertale oc. so yes, im familiar.

i watched plants vs zombies a lot when i was younger! i never got too into it, though.

minecraft was also one of the building blocks for my person!! i used to watch it from another channel in my native language when i was really young, in fact i watched nothing else for a while.

For Us, aka LRAU (Lethal Ranchers AU)

Is an AU based off the game Lethal Company. Its main characters are the ZITS crew + Jimmy, based off my favorite play style of having a 5-man party.

Team Rancher is the main ship, Impulse/Skizz is heavily implied, Joel/Lizzie is a background ship, [Redacted/Redacted] is extremely important to the story, [Redacted/Redacted] was briefly mentioned.

- Jimmy Solidarity is a canary avian hybrid from Tumble Town, a small town where he works as a farmhand. He is chronically unlucky so landing a job is hard for him. The farm was the first place to accept him because, despite his tardiness, he gets the job done faster than anyone else. He had no qualifications when presented with the job opportunity to go to space, but he wasn’t about to look a gift horse in the mouth.

- Tango Tek is a blaze hybrid who works as an engineer and pilot for H.L.C. He has a factory near his branch office (H.A.S.A) where he manufactures loads of equipment for the company, and he’s in charge of directing the production of H.L.C ships. In his space suit he adjusted his scanner to have a sarcastic advanced AI named Holsten. He had a soft spot for Jimmy.

- Tango, Skizz, Impulse, and Zed all met at the Company. Imp & Skizz knew each other from before.

- Skizz Leman is part angel. He isn’t the group's " leader, " but he tends to make decisions and base his actions around protecting the others; he will take charge for their sake. Skizz isn’t fond of Jimmy.

- Impulse Vee is part demon. He does the heavy lifting and delivery for Tango’s factory and works as a blacksmith. He has a soft spot for Skizz.

- Zed Aph P. is a sheep hybrid. He is the lead scientist at H.L.C and specializes in biology. He loves his friends but he likes his space and to be alone in his own little bubble.

- Despite being told their expedition is a first in history, they were not the first crew to be sent on this mission.

okay okay got you, then you can do one where grian and scar are both oil rig mechanics and scar accidentally gets very oily hands and he drops the standing valve puller into the ocean (rendering the drilling mechanism pretty much useless) and grian says like "Scar, that's 5th time this week" and they like idk go buy another one i'm not much of a writer so excuse me. so like if that's like okay with you or maybe interests you of course you can maybe write it or get inspired by it idk, no pressure or anything of course

LRAU is probably my passion project. I was super hyper-fixated on the game and wanted Tango to play it because I like it when he goes into game dev mode. I started brain-rotting this au after the first or second GIGS stream, and then when Jimmy played, I was like, “I need Tango and Jimmy playing together,” and I realized I needed to write about this before they did.

How my friends and GIGS interact in our play throughs definitely inspired the comedic aspects of lrau, while the nature of the game allows me to write angst to my hearts content. I love making my boys sappy and cute, they deserve all the love… but where’s the fun in not putting them in situations?

Also semi related but I love how you write the hybrid features of characters. Like in your other fics with ranchers it's always so easy to imagine and love the aspects you chose and how you write them and how it influences the characters, it's very cute

Tysm!! I’m so obsessed with hybrids and their features/body language. I blame the SBI trenches that I was in 2019-2021. Origins SMP did not help with that at all.

One of my favorite headcanons is that hybrid traits carried through the bond during Double Life. Tango is already very expressive, especially with his flame and tail, but because of Jimmy’s avian traits it was cranked up to 100. If you see videos of birds they’re super twitchy with their movements and I think that’s the best way to portray it.

Ignoring the formatting, that’s how I draft conversation ideas for my aus, but here’s some funny exploring moments with the crew. They have 3 teams, all teams leave the ship but only two of them go inside the building to loot. Jimmy + Tango & Zed + Impulse. Skizz runs the scrap they find to the ship and plays the “ship dad” role on the terminal.

I actually have 3 major episode ideas for Meowchers written down, they’re going to be pivotal parts of the plot. (Establishing relationships and background lore).

My favorite fanfic of mine… it’s kind of hard to pick, there’s parts I love about all of them but I also equally have parts I wish I changed a little bit more. I would probably have to say out of what I currently have up, either The Sun in My Hands or I Don’t Need These Powers to Hear You. I really love exploring how certain situations affect the ranchers and how they help each other through them. I’m an angst writer so I just really enjoy putting my favorite guy through situations, my #1 fic of mine would probably be LRAU (Lethal Ranchers AU) but I took that down from ao3 in order to rework it.

And a small teaser for a current wip… I have plans for a short series with ranchers interacting and kissing during each session of wild life.
