this is 100% canon cause i wanted both of those. the adults are like "there's no coincidence here- that's the same kid, isn't it?" and the kids are like "there's no coincidence here- they're dating! that's his boyfriend!!!"

after a long night of patrolling and peter is super tired and he forgets his strength sometimes when he finally gets to bed, you’re already asleep but lays down and peter just puts a hand on your waist and pulls you into him (it’s more of a yank really) which wakes you up be he’s pretty much out

Things I think about all the time regarding Peter B is how a lot of his movement feels almost like laziness but it's actually just an absurd amount of skill and experience. he's been doing this longer than anyone else there, so he knows how that villain speech is going to play out, doesn't look when he fires a web because he knows exactly where it's going to land, and he's absolutely able to predict where Miles is going to go and catch up to him when no one else can. because peter b has been at this longer than everyone else there and it's literally second nature to him. give me more middle aged experienced superheros please.

need to preface this by saying I looooove Felicia sm but god it’s so frustrating that when she pops up she gets to keep her personality, her depth, her everything, even in like her very few appearances but MJ has to get EVERYTHING WIPED AWAY even in the comics??? but literally the only close to faithful adaptions of her are spectacular, some of the 90s show and PART of the raimi movies and it’s only slivers!!!! And usually if mjs around Gwen doesn’t exist so we never the catalyst to her and peters bond, their shared grief that Peter can’t understand at first <\3

A lot of my inspiration for my fics comes from comics/media I consume.

From the comics, I come across specific arcs, what-if storylines, and alternate universe, and soak in all the little details I like and end up taking that concept, but making it Spideypool (or some other ship I like). I have WIP’s based off of “Night of the Living Deadpool” (Spideypool zombie/apocalypse fic), “Superior Spider-Man” (a ‘what if Wade and Peter were dating when Otto took over Peter’s body and how would that impact the rest of the comic arc’), and “Assassin Spider-Man” (a role-reversal where Peter falls head over heels for Deadpool first, instead of vice versa).

My “Invisible Man” and “Hide N’ Seek” fic was actually inspired by the 2020 “Invisible Man” movie, a specific comic panel where Chameleon admits to Peter Parker that he loves him (I’m not even kidding, it’s a real thing), and the “Deadpool Annual #2” comic where Chamelon is playing ‘cat and mouse’ with Spider-Man, and Deadpool switches costumes with Spidey. I just mashed all three concepts together because they fit so so well XD

“Wade Wilson’s Guide for Studying Your Spider” was created out of my love for Man-Spider (Spider-Man when he mutates) and my utter delight in Peter Parker having more spidery attributes. I also love Wade being more observant and intelligent than people give him credit for, and Spider-Man being more terrifying and violent than I often see recent Spider-Man media.

So, yeah, I kind of just soak in the stuff I watch, pick out the pieces I especially like, mix in a ship/dynamic that I want to see, and I kind of end up creating plot around it. It’s fun and one of my favorite parts of writing is actually plot-development and figuring out where the story is going to go.

Also, my work-page being compared to a fic-rec list is one of the best compliments I’ve ever had, thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've been bouncing back and forth between the last chapter of toy rosaries and the next chapter of nhthcth. Here's a few lines of toy rosaries:

“He says this guy kidnapped a kid and we need him to tell us where he is.” 

Oh, so there’s where he kept the Devil. He hadn’t felt it in some time. But it’s right there, next to the pit in his chest. It seems comfortable as it finds its way up his pulse. 

“I’ve got a pair of pliers,” says Jack, jerking his head back from where he came. “If that’ll help.”

Okay so I have one for TMA and one for Marvel.

TMA: Danny, Jon, and Gerry Buzzfeed Unsolved AU. Jon runs into Agnes Montague while at Oxford, and it changes things. He goes on the run from the Web, picks up an amnesiac man he semi-accidentally rescued from some fucked up circus freaks, starts running even faster. They find a kind goth who joins them in their scooby adventures, because Jon is HIGHLY susceptible to serial killers and Gerry is kind enough to help him escape being bookified. They end up starting a ghost hunting YouTube channel, Ghost Hunt--not to be confused with Ghost Hunt UK, who hates them on a profound level--to cover up their monster hunting supernatural shenanigans. It gains immense popularity--because of Jon's skepticism about the existence of supernatural.

Marvel: the idea is that there are many Peter Parker's in the Multiverse, and the Collector just wants the one that no one would miss. A very lonely version of Peter gets nabbed right when he's starting off his Spider-Man career, before anyone even knows the name, by a Collector who's decided he's the centerpiece of his collection. This one is so dramatic. There's TRAUMA. There's SPACE. There's a GLADIATOR ARENA. There's MIND GAMES. the REVENGERS are there. And, Yes, I found a way for the Frank Castle's dead family to be there too. This is yet another one of my defridging the castle family stories. I am obsessed with this AU and it is so ridiculously niche. If anyone wants to ever read a space odyssey featuring Peter Parker and the Punisher's dead family, by fucking god, i have you covered.
