“Alright,” Jake Marshall sighed. “That’s enough probation work for today.” He leaned back on his chair to stretch and rested his head against his cold, wooden dining table.

It was his third parole application for his house arrest trial. It was currently midnight. And yet, it seemed like Jake had been working for centuries. He knew he couldn’t be a detective anymore, so being a college professor was his only hope.

He then sat up again to massage his face. “I can’t give up yet…” He said to himself. Jake then opened his laptop and went back to his documents. He titled his doc “The Strengths and Weakness of Being a College Professor of Law.” He started by grabbing his law reports book.

December 3rd, 1:11 AM.

Jake Marshall’s Apartment

Jake had typed nearly sixteen hundred words in an hour. He got his introduction and his paragraph completed. He smiled at his work and pat himself on the back.

It was the first time in years he felt motivated to write anything, let alone a parole document. While he cleaned up, he heard his phone ring from the living room.

“Now who in tarnation is calling me this late at night?” Jake murmured, pacing to get his phone. He looked at the log to see a familiar name: Diego Armando (Or Godot), Jake’s former colleague.

Ecstatic that Godot called, Jake answered him. “Evening Armando,” Jake exclaimed, “How’ve ya been? You’ve applied for any jobs or hobbies yet?” Godot let a deep sigh before talking, making Jake feel uneasy.

“Evening Marshall…” Godot said. “I’ve been doing well. I got transferred to house arrest and got a job as a barista at the local cafe.”

"That’s great partner. I’m happy for you.” Jake smiled. “Is there anything else you need to tell me? Since it’s one o’clock and all.” Godot was silent for a while but soon clicked his tongue.

“Armando? You alright over there?” Jake asked again.

“Jake, call me on Facetime, please.”

Godot would never call anyone by their actual name unless he’s in a situation. Without hesitation, Marshall called Armando on Facetime. However, he wasn’t expecting Godot not to be in a conundrum.

When Marshall opened Facetime, he witnessed a flushed and embarrassed Godot, just staring at the other man made his face turned warm.

“A- Armando?” Jake hiccupped. “You okay in there? Do you have a fever?” Godot let out a dark chuckle. “I’m feeling better,” he said, “now that I got to see that pretty face of yours.” This made Marshall’s heart beat fast.

“Very funny Armando.” Jake teased, brushing off Godot’s weird behavior. “But I’m serious,” Godot said. “I missed you, Jake. I missed you so much.” “Oh really? How much then?”

Armando only smiled at Marshall’s teasings. He then placed his phone in a stance position and laid back on the sofa.

Although he was wearing his visor, Godot's face was still feverish. He wore a slim green shirt that hugged his muscles and curves almost completely. His grey sweatpants were pulled down to his knees as he revealed his tented boxers.

Marshall gaped at the picture with shock and sudden arousal. “D-Diego!” He screamed, almost dropping his phone. “My lord… Is this what you do when you think of me?” He asked in disbelief. “Not all the time Jake,” Godot replied. “But I couldn’t help myself. I hunger for you, my love.”

He did! I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that he started thinking of ideas for Avatar as early as his high school days. Also, yes! The way I want to try to learn Na'vi so baaaaaad just to say that I did but I just don't have the energy to start lol.
