We all know the "Akechi has feelings for Akira and it's in denial, and a homocidal tsundere about it the whole time" but i present to you something

The same but Akechi has moments here and there where he's actually clearly happy about spending time with Akira, he gets giggly, and his face is red and he smiles and-

Then he remembers he's supposedly this guys biggest hater, so he acts on how he's killing him but he still has the dumb smile of someone in lovetm

Because you know tsundere also has dere in it? For like a reason?

And I just want Akechi, angsty teen by protocol, to have a normal teen with a huge ass crush on someone moment

Which is angsty on it's own, because he knows he can't have it, he's not allowed by any means, and feeling this is only a short time thing that only will hurt more in the end of he allows it, but, can't he give himself this one thing?

I like to think that Peem said "i love you" (well, almost exactly that) but still didn't agree to dating at Phum's first attempt, and why they didn't go official right then and there, because this "i love you" and having a romantic relationship is not the same thing for him

The confession happened because he was legitimately worried that their relationship changed or worse - wasn't at all like he thought it had been. This "love" that he confessed was taking care of the other in a very "i need to get him a therapist and wrap him in a blanket" way, being worried, making Phum smile and admiring their moments together in a "i admire what we have in many ways and romantic is only one of them" way

It's the only type of confession ive ever done. I'm on the aromantic spectrum so i consider love very differently than others and what happened between phum and peem when peem confessed, was so very me. Like, i would do the exact same thing "you promised me you would tell me stuff. yet you kept it to yourself AND also made me think something happened to you. I care about you and I love you so please don't ever do that again"

While the moment of establishing a romantic relationship with phum meant that the "i love you" (said out loud or not) would be on a very different level of bonding (not necessarily more shallow, just different but don't ask me how, im the last person to ask). Maybe peem wanted to give both moments (that confession and getting official) a timely and emotional distance so it's clear that both kind of love/confessions, while they overlap, vary from each other.

or maybe im just projecting my very complicated experience onto fictional characters because i need to validate myself but i dont know how to put this stuff into words

People on twitter currently very rabid over Alastor/Lucifer because of the art print and VA's teasing about it. Meanwhile, I'm still hyperfixating on Alastor stroking Husk's ears and calling him his pet. Like, how can I look at anything else??? They are married actually???
