Hear me out…
Variants finding out that reader who is their S.O in their universe is dating somebody else in this one
All the possible reactions from them ESPECIALLY if the seeing reader again was their main motivation for coming to this dimension in the first place
(Pretty please can you include No goggles Mark and the variant that got blown up with Rex,,,,he had such an evil yet sweet and soft voice it still scratches my head so good)
Warnings: every red flag imagineable, forced relationship, abduction, manipulation, canon-typical violence + death, not proofread
He's calm. Too calm. Because he knows exactly how to resolve this.
You'd surely hate him if he was to kill your mate - which wouldn't be a hindrance, but still bothersome - so instead he resorts to more sophisticated measurements.
Got your partner dangling helplessly in the air while making it crystal clear that if he was to ever approach you again, the consequences would be worse than death.
Of course he'd be there to comfort you immediately after you get broken up with 'out of the blue'. You'll never know.
Surprisingly, I think he'd be the most chill about it. After all, he knows best what it's like to try and fill the void with meaningless partners.
But anyways, it's time you stop this bullshit, because your real soulmate is here now. He wouldn't even feel threatened by this nobody, confident that you'll eventually see just how much better he is in every way.
However, he is not a patient man. If you take too long to accept your fate, he might have to become a little more aggressive in his attempts.
Oh, so you want to make him jealous? Cute. Challenge accepted.
But don't be fooled by his confident facade, on the inside he is seething with rage and heartbreak. There's no way to calm him down, couldn't care less and didn't ask for your opinion, feelings, or whatever excuse you'd come up with to soothe his hurt pride.
He'd keep your 'pathetic attempt at replacing him' around, torturing him for his own amusement, and also as means of punishment because you 'cheated' on him. To 'mark his territory', he will constantly force your partner to watch the things he does to you.
In between his cruel way of venting his anger, he'll have brief moments of weakness, revealing just how desparate he is for your affection.
Won't harm your partner if you comply and come with him. They're insignificant either way.
He's pretty chill about the whole situation, certain that given time you'll surrender to your new circumstances. Treats you strict yet caring - as far as he is able to be - and gives you clear instructions of how to act around him.
Other than that, you'll be granted a rather peaceful life with as much freedom as he is possible to give to make you adapt easier. Asks you to never mention your ex in any way, though. Sore topic.
As far as he's concerned, your life before his arrival never existed.
This whole situation is weirdly amusing to him. He'll have a fit of laughter seeing you with this fucking loser, slapping his ankle and acting all silly, while degrading them and also you for choosing someone like this.
Will challenge your partner to a 'duel to win your favor' just for the fun of it. Might even let them land a hit or two, just to toy with them. We all know how this ends, but hey, it got the point across pretty well.
Afterwards he'll act all cheerful and whimsy, twirling you around and expecting you to be thrilled that he's here and got rid of this 'disgrace' for you.
Would be very underatanding. You are not to blame, after all. It's just that your kind is so weirdly obsessed with the concept of love, that you'd rather stay with the wrong companion than be all alone.
But now he has arrived, and by Viltrumite logic you should practically launch yourself onto the superior choice.
Acts as callous and neutral as always, claiming that this union is strictly strategical, but in reality it's eating him alive that he keeps failing to recreate a bond similar to the one you had with your partner.
At some point he pours out his heart, despite having a hard time to verbalize those feelings he was never taught. It's a beginning, though.
Amused, at least initially. But his mood is pretty erratic in general and can switch drastically.
Depending on your reaction, he might either adapt to the situation pretty easily or do something he regrets later. It's a thin line honestly, and there's no right or wrong action.
Most likely he's a petty bastard and will disregard your partner completely. Flirts with you constantly like a damn bully that tries to steal someone's girl in the most disrespectful way possible. And given his power he just knows neither of you have the guts to resist his antics. If you do play hard to get however, it only spurrs him further!
He can work with whatever you decide on doing.
This is his breaking point.
As soon as the reality of the situation sets in, he'll have a complete mental breakdown. You're finally in reach and yet so far away, with someone better that can provide a normal life for you.
Without any hope to hold onto, he'll start destroying everything in his path in a nihilistic fenzy. Without you, nothing matters anymore - it's better to end it all and take everyone with him.
You'll sacrifice yourself by making the heroic offer to stay at his side if he spares your world - and really, he'd rather have you like this than not at all.
Abducts you right then and there, no questions asked.
This man is so lost in his delusions that he seamlessly continues where he left off with his world's version of you. He refuses to acknowledge that you're a completely different person and gets unstable if you act any different than he expects you to.
The most horrifying thing is that he's a talented manipulator without even trying to be. Gaslights you into obedience by claiming it's the only way to keep you safe, and his gentle way of tending to you in huge contrast to his true nature. Over time he's able to actually make you care for him in a twisted way.
His intentions might be pure, his methods on the other hand are anything but that.
But hey, he never seeked out to be absolved anyways. All he wanted was to have you back.

Be prepared to hear all insuslts in the book being hurled at you.
Kills your partner out of a whim, but regrets his approach later on since he should have made them suffer way more. You can be glad he has a soft spot for you in his heart, otherwise would've died right then and there together.
Better make up to him after your 'mistake' by every means necessary. Get on your knees and beg for his forgiveness - even though you have no idea who he is or what he is talking about.
But hey, luckily he just can't be mad at you for too long.
Bonus: Retro Invincible
"I'm not mad, just disappointed" he states flatly with that smooth, balmy voice of his. He is definetly mad. Run.
Takes his sweet time ending the life of the person that dared defiling you with their unworthy touch, making you watch the entire thing so you'll 'learn your lesson'. And don't you dare to scream or even cry for them, or he'll unleash pain a thousand times worse.
Becomes awfully possessive afterwards. Even while holding you in captivity he'd still find reasons to lash out randomly at people he deems suspicious. You are always under his scrutiny, and the fact that you'll never truly be his is slowly driving him insane.
What a cruel turn of fate for both of you, eh?

Everytime I hear these "The Krew were weak/ the Krew were bums" takes I lose a year of my lifespan.
Like this style of take that I've seen almost everywhere?
youtube
Im fucking tired, and I don't think it's a good way to defend Korra either. Like, ok, it's shifting the 'blame' from Korra's supposed weakness through the show onto other characters.
Like, I'm sorry but Asami's hand to hand combat skills, even without her glove, are at least on the level of a Kyoshi warrior. And she can do that shit in heels too.
Like she's hella flexible and smart about her combat, usually using her opponents momentum or weapons against them. She thinks well on the fly, and is highly adaptable, which is crucial for a nonbender going up against benders.
This is without even getting into how smart she is with engineering/tech and how she seems to be able to pilot literally any machine somehow.
Mako is also, just a ridiculously talented firebender, especially for someone raised on the streets. He can genrate lighting, something even Zuko was unable to. He's one of the precious few, and only non waterbender/bloodbendee or Avatar to break a bloodbendinh hold.
Like Amon himself spoke about how it was almost a shame to remove the bending of someone so talented. Mako has also been shown multuple times to be able to almost completely halt explosions in their track, even injured.

And Bolin. BOLIN.
I'm sorry but if you think Bolin isn't a fucking killing machine held back from mass murder by onky his golden retriever personality, you watched the show with horse blinders on.
Like the lavabending itself is so op thay the writers will actively nerf him by making him only use his lava disk, when, realistically, he should be yeeting lava around.
But Bolin is also insanely agile for an earthbender, literally going up against earth's steady and grounded movements. But, I'd say Bolin's earthbending resembles firebending in how he moves, particularly the speed and power.
Like, controversial opinion? Bolin at the end of tlok, could probably beat Toph at the end of atla. Or at least be evenly matched enough for me to not see a clear winner. Maybe he can even hold his own and beat out old lady Toph too, if he locks in.
Like I'm sorry. He's Fucking goated.
And honestly, it took me a while to figure out why this idea that the Krew were weak is so persistent, and I think I have a theory.
See, in atla, whenever a character achieves a new skillset, its a momentous moment, or we linger on it. Katara had a whole storyline around becoming a master waterbender, and she is given the accolades she rightfully deserves for it. The Blue Spirit was, essentially the "oh, look, Zuko's a super cool ninja too" episode. Sokka gets a whole episode to add swordsmanship to his skill tree. Toph's moment of discovering metalbending is incredibly framed and focused on, with it being a huge gamechanger against the Fire Nation. And of course, Aang mastering the elements is a centerpiece of the show.
In contrast, due to its faster pacing and bigger focus on plot, tlok has to kinda gloss over the big moments the characters have. They have to learn their skills quickly and without fanfare, and so we don't get the feeling of achievement or awe when they do display some exciting feat.
For example, let's contrast the moment Toph developed metalbending, to the moment Bolin discovered he was a lavabender.
Toph's discovery of metalbending is well prefaced with her storyline that episode being entwined with Aang's and Guru Pathik's lessons, taunts from her aggressors, deep family drama, the resolution of a b plot that has been going on since basically her introduction, as well as atrong focus on her mastering and understanding the technique.
After she gains the ability, she is boisterous and triumphant, singing her own accolades. Its a very compelling an uplifting moment that we can empathise with, and we're often reminded of it with how other characters (specifically Sokka) will often be "so glad they added her to the group".
In comparison, Bolin had a few little moments diplaying his personal issues surrounding metalbending, and some nice forshadowing with Wei's "trial by fire" comment, but it's nothing you will linger on, or get attached to as you would with Toph's storyline. You don't have time to get acquainted with this particular issue of Bolin's, so you don't exactly feel vindincated when he does prove himself by learning lavabending.
There is also no weight to the actual discovery. Sure, there's the lingering shot on his face, the implication that he's throwing himself into the inferno for only a sliver of hope of dabing his brother and friends. But when he does successfully become the third non Avatar lavabender known to history, he only gets a little joke to mark his status. Then the group immediately jumps into action, as the plot has to keep going again.
It's... depressing? And once again reminds me of what tlok could've maybe been if the show weren't so fucked over runtime wise. Because the building blocks are there. We just have to skim over them, and if you're expecting your characters' 'powerlevel' to be quantified into easily tangible storylines, weighty moments and character dialogue, you're not really gonna find anything remarkable.
Though I really wish we didn't put down characters just to elevate a broadly hated character. There is, in my opinion, very little rhyme or reason to the overwhelming wave of hate Korra gets. Trying to disperse it by blaming her supposed 'failures' on other characters won't work, because they are here fo hate Korra. They're just looking for an excuse to do so.
#sure let's combat one characters hate by placing said hate on other characters#i like danny phantom exe's shorts so when i saw the title of this i genuinely thought i was gonna eat good lol#and yet the disappointment persists#can we stop powerscaling. this is avatar not dragon ball z or whatever giys#atla fans need plotpoints spoonfed to them but what else is new#korra#asami sato#mako#bolin#toph beifong#avatar#legend of korra#tlok#the legend of korra#avatar the legend of korra#atlok#lok

The prank is so over analysed Remus clearly didn’t hold it against Sirius and Sirius was left to rot in Azkaban for 12 years bc Remus didn’t even consider that there was no way Sirius would betray James like that . So I would say they are pretty equal. No one died and no one else found out about Remus so Remus got over it
i am assuming this ask is in response to this post.
i would like to start off by saying that the matter of the prank is open to interpretation for the most part so we might not see it the same way and that’s fine.
i don’t think that it was ever “clear” that remus didn’t hold it against sirius, even subconsciously. from POA, when remus explains what happened, this is how he described it:
"Professor Snape was at school with us. He fought very hard against my appointment to the Defense Against the Dark Arts job. He has been telling Dumbledore all year that I am not to be trusted. He has his reasons ... you see, Sirius here played a trick on him which nearly killed him, a trick which involved me —"
we call it a prank but that’s not how remus saw it. he said it was a trick and that has negative connotations to it. “a trick which involved me” … it reads to me as if that still bothered him to some extent. also, of course, remus was not going to be mad at sirius in that moment. he reunited with him after thirteen years and he was trying to explain to harry, ron, and hermione that sirius is innocent. it was not the time or place for him to have fully expressed how he really felt about the prank almost two decades ago.
i know that remus suspected sirius to be the spy and that post was one interpretation of why it would come down to it. and it does make sense because, again, i wouldn’t trust someone completely ever again if they betrayed me like that—it’s peter vs sirius to remus, he had more reason to suspect sirius is all i’m saying. this is not hate to sirius. i love sirius. this is just a look into why things happened the way they did.
i also personally don’t think they’re equal. they both thought the other was the spy but only one of them betrayed the other. i don’t understand your statement of “sirius was left to rot in azkaban for 12 years bc remus didn’t even consider that there was no way sirius would betray james like that” . it sounds like you’re saying that it’s remus’ fault that sirius went to azkaban.
let’s go over all facts remus had:
sirius was james and lily’s secret keeper
peter was not
there was a spy amongst them
voldemort found james, lily, and harry (meaning the secret was given to him)
what was he supposed to believe, really? i’m sure it wasn’t easy for him to accept but it was either going to be peter or sirius (two of his best friends) and it just turned out to be sirius (from what remus knew). i just don’t really see how remus was at fault. he definitely has his own flaws that i also love to explore but where this is concerned, i don’t really blame remus.
again, this is just how i see it! you’re of course entitled to your own opinions and interpretations.

Hi Mommy!
How's your weekend? Nothing kinky this time
Just wanted your thoughts on Doms/Dommes who don't take care of their subs after scenes, it's a topic that I've seen pop-up many times on this side of tumblr
Kisses
-🐻
Hi, my sweet bear. My weekend was very good, thank you. 🤍 Oh, I have thoughts. Trust me, I have many!
Let me begin by being absolutely clear: a Dom or Domme who doesn’t provide aftercare is failing in one of the most essential parts of their role. Full stop.
BDSM isn’t just about control or sensation, it’s about trust. When a submissive gives themselves over, especially in an intense scene, they are opening their body, their mind, and often their heart in a deeply vulnerable way. That kind of surrender deserves to be honored, not discarded the moment the physical play ends.
Aftercare is not optional. It’s not a bonus. It’s part of the contract, spoken or unspoken, that says, “I will hold you through all of it, not just when you’re moaning, but also when you’re trembling after.”
A scene, especially a heavy or emotionally intense one, can leave a submissive raw, shaken, dizzy, or emotionally ungrounded. Without proper aftercare, whether that’s cuddling, words of reassurance, hydration, silence, skin-to-skin comfort, or simply staying close, you're leaving them to manage all that alone. And that, in my opinion, is both irresponsible and cruel.
I don’t care how "dominant" someone thinks they are. If they don’t take care of their submissive afterward, they’re a disgrace to the name. Because it's important to remember that dominance isn’t just about giving orders and pushing limits, it’s about holding the person you just took to the edge. It’s about knowing what they need, checking in, grounding them, and making sure they feel safe and cherished after giving you everything.
If someone calls themselves a Dom/Domme but shrugs off aftercare as unnecessary, I’d seriously question whether they just want to abuse someone and dress it up with a fancy more acceptable name. Because for me? The scene doesn’t end until I’m holding you again. Until I know you're okay. Until I’ve reminded you who you are, precious, safe, seen, and mine.
You don’t get to claim control if you’re not willing to carry the responsibility that comes with it. PERIOD!
And to end this, I want to thank you, my sweet little Bear, for asking for my thoughts on this topic. I hope you’re staying safe out there. 🤍

As Katniss says I know this would have happened anyway. Her biggest hangups were that she didn't even want to admit to herself the possibility of loving Peeta bc she didn't want children, specifically bc she didn't want to deal with them growing up like she and the rest of the districts did and especially the hunger games the possibility of them being reaped and I think that for a long time she couldn't admit to herself that she loved Peeta bc she'd want to be with them and if they were together they might have kids and all that but like the trauma is so there that even for a long time after the fall of the Capitol and the hunger games it takes a while for Peeta to convince her it's safe to have children (I think he knew she wanted kids but was afraid I don't think the pushed them on her) but even after she has them the fears are still there from the trauma tho she's able with peetas help to push them away and focus on what's real now and she loves her kids i think that without her and peeta going into the hunger games eventually they would have gotten together (I'm not sure if they would have had kids though) but I think going through the hunger games and everyone forcing Peeta on her and wanting her to share those kinds of things with the whole world made her push her feelings for him down even harder (though to the reader I think it's clear she loves him the whole time and just grows into feeling safe enough to express that) but also going through it together did bond them undeniably they had similar experiences that only others who went through it could grasp fully and in helping take down the hunger games and Capitol and preventing new ones and creating a safer world for people and especially children also despite their trauma allowed Katniss to not only feel safe enough to have children and be with Peeta in my opinion the Peeta thing was always gonna happen with or without the games with or without children I just think it would have taken longer possibly bc her main focus was to take care of her sister (and mom) and i think she would have kept pushing those feelings down as long as she could like peeta could do better peeta could be with someone willing to have kids blah blah but peeta and katniss have been I love since they were young and I think like Katniss says them being together was inevitable (in a good way) Katniss and Gale I think weren't gonna be together they were hunting buddies they had similar experiences and whatnot and vowed to care for each others families should anything happen to the other and Gale often fantasized about him and Katniss leaving living in the woods exploring ect not bc he was in love with her even but be he wanted out of his life the responsibilities of taking care of his family the inevitably of working in the mines living under the Capitol I don't think he would have left his family had katniss said yes and they took their families with them even I think it was just an escapism type fantasy and while I think he cared for Katniss honestly he never struck me as actually in love with her like it was more practical to me than that even with peeta and gales conversation about being with her and letting her choose and all that idk it felt like to me the kind of thing where they would date for a bit and be like oh OK this definitely isn't it what were we thinking and go back to being hunting partners like Katniss says it was more about proximity than any feelings for one another and they were even really friends but that's just my opinion I do think Gale felt like they were friends and liked her but I just felt like it was only bc she was available and outside the laws like he was so he could talk to her about things he couldn't to anyone else I just felt like with time Gale would have also realized he wasn't in love with Katniss anymore than she was with him
Excuse the typos and rambling I have a horrible migraine
Broke: "Katniss was only with Peeta because of their shared trauma from the Games and the events that followed. After what they went through together, there was no one who truly understood her like Peeta. But if Prim and Peeta had never been reaped, Katniss would have ended up with Gale/stayed single."
Woke: "The Games and the events that followed brought Katniss and Peeta together, but there was something special between them since the day with the bread. Katniss had a subconscious interest in him since they were 11, and after the reaping she couldn't help but fall for him due to their close proximity. The Games weren't her reason for choosing Peeta, but they were a catalyst for their relationship."
Bespoke: "The Games did more to hinder Katniss and Peeta's relationship than to help it. In fact, without the Games to complicate things, Katniss would have fallen for Peeta fast and hard. The Games and the events that followed were responsible for countless barriers to their love including (but not limited to):
1. Instilling in Katniss a distrust of Peeta that did not come naturally to her
2. Forcing her to act in love, regardless of the authenticity of her feelings, in order to survive
3. Broadcasting every moment they shared, no matter how intimate/private, onto every screen in every house in the country
4. Driving them apart due to the pain and confusion that followed the inevitable end of her "star-crossed lovers" act
5. Making their relationship a political tool of manipulation and oppression
6. Leading Snow to hold Katniss personally responsible for defusing the civil unrest within the Districts by means of their love story
7. Forcing them under threat of death to act in love for the rest of their lives, thereby taking away their agency and ability to choose each other out of real love or desire
8. Robbing them of a future together, even if they wanted it, by returning Katniss to the Games and ensuring the death of at least one of them
9. Traumatizing them in ways they'll have to deal with for the remainder of their lives
10. So many other things
The Hunger Games is NOT the story of how Katniss fell in love with Peeta due to or even during the Games. It's the story of how Katniss fell in love with Peeta IN SPITE OF THEM."

I do wonder if their intention last week was to begin letting them down gently (Tim’s quote about being kind and patient towards them comes to mind)however once it aired and they actually got more delusional as a result, I wonder if they have decided that they need to just rip the bandaid off. I think once the 2 parter airs, it will get way worse.
I mean, I don't think it's a crazy thing to say, Nonnie.
Tim's answer of being kind and patient towards them wasn't as catastrophic or as pro-Buddie as many people initially assumed. To me, he was clearly trying to say: hey, they are not getting what they want and they'll be upset, let's be kind.
A bit insane to say considering everything Bobs have done, but we also have to consider there are plenty of Buddie fans that are not linked or associating with those fans, and with them we should be kind and patient. So to that degree, I do agree with Tim.
However, like you said, once everything aired, delusion reached new levels, and perhaps they saw and thought: well, they are not getting it unless we spell it out for them. Perhaps that was a thing of last week, perhaps this will be the behavior we see from then from now on - only time will tell.
Though if MG twisted Ryan's very clear statement on how Buck is Tommy's joy, I honestly don't know what will make them stop. Atp I don't think anything will make them stop claiming Buddie canon - not BT reconciling, not the cast and creator outright telling you. They won't listen,
My inbox is open for ranting, venting, giving your opinion (unpopular or popular, I'm happy to receive and discuss both), and even confessions! However if you don't want yours posted, please make sure to say :)
Take care <3

Sanguinius – The Great Angel
What follows, is me, trying to put something in writing that has been ghosting in that noggin of mine for some time now about the nature of primarchs and astartes. This is based solely on the passages from C. Wraight's book "Sanguinius - The Great Angel".
Part 1 of 2 (or maybe 3)
Disclaimers:
this are my thoughts and opinions. I would love to hear other people's take on that book as well :)
citations are marked with "..."
Mistakes and typos are very likely.
After more or less finishing Sanguinius’ primarch book, I can say that a) Chris Wraight’s writing might not be to everybody’s liking (I am on the fence because the first half of the book was a bit slow and difficult to get into, but picked up in quality in the second half. Also, the German translation doesn’t do it any justice.) b) the book contains some of the best descriptions of Sanguinius (and by extension, Blood Angels), told through the eyes of a human narrator.
For once, these otherworldly beings are not described as simply “beautiful” ,,graceful” or “impossible to grasp” but as actual non-human and multifaceted entities that they are.
I have tried to find as many passages as possible in the book, which I believe describe the above better than I could ever put into words and divided them into three rough categories:
battle situations (the true might and essence of a primarch and his astartes)
outside of battle (the mask)
Sanguinius vs Horus (no Warmaster title for you, hawk boy)
BOOK SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT, so proceed at your own risk.
The first time the human narrator (whose name I can’t retain to save my life) sees Sanguinius fight, is on a planet that refused compliance to the Blood Angels (BA). They got exactly three opportunities to agree to the conditions set out by the imperium, and Sanguinius made it pretty clear, that there won’t be a fourth time. Already here, we can see that he is willing to negotiate BUT only on HIS terms and to get the outcome HE desires.
But back to the fight. Sanguinius is often depicted as a shining warrior angel, akin to St Michael who slays the dragon. Divine, just and noble even when delivering judgement upon his foes. I don’t think that this is the image that particular remembrancer (I will call him Bob from now on) will have in his mind for the rest of his days, when thinking about Sang:
“ As for him, for Sanguinius, I don’t know how long he’d been fighting. Probably for hours. Maybe days. His armour was no longer gold, but black and red, charred by the flames and stained by the blood he’d already let. Fully extended, his wings looked both magnificent and awful. Their pearlescent sheen had been replaced with a mess of blood and debris, accumulated from his descent into the cauldrons of combat. The structures around him were little more than a tangle of broken struts and spars, radiating out from him in a concave hemisphere, as if he’d crashed into them from above and created the blast wave on impact. He was surrounded by shattered bodies, all from the ranks of the enemy. […] Sanguinius rose from the city’s wreckage with a single thrust of his bloodied wings, dripping gore and oil from the pinions, shedding broken scraps of enemy armour from the shining tip of his great spear, lashing out with movements so precise and so fast that even establishing cause and effect was hard. He was unhelmed. Amid all the lattice of energy weapons and flying projectiles, his face was exposed. Its beauty was marred now, masked with dirt and blood, the long hair matted. I got a lone, snatched sighting of his eyes, which were the most terrifying things I had ever seen. The expression in them was beyond anger. I don’t know if I even have a word for it – a kind of wild, cold frenzy, only barely held in check by the armour that encased him. He was radiant but terrible, resplendent but panic-inducing.”
Bob sees the primarch once again fight on Murder, where Sanguinius unleashes a carnage upon the enemies that killed his children.
“Revenge. It felt good. I liked it. […] I think he did, too. I could see him at the very apex of the advance, and for all that the Titans made my hands tremble, his actions were something else again. He soared and he dived, he plunged and he plummeted, all within and around that lattice of fire and plasma. The Legion was firing liberally, making the atmosphere ignite, and he just weaved his complex path through it all, trailing streamers of fire and smoke, a comet given its head, his spear like a star in the gloom, vicious and intense. They were already reeling, those creatures, those monsters, and to be faced by this, this, a son of the Emperor unleashed – it broke them. They screamed.
Alien screams, from alien gullets and alien mandibles, raised in a chorus of fear and horror. He’d been angry before. I’d seen it, and it had chilled me to the bone. This was different, though. They’d hurt his sons. My advice, such as it is, to any who might contemplate doing that. Don’t. Just don’t.”
And it’s not only the sheer brutality and cold fury that scares Bob, but also the in-humanity of it all. Not in the sense of “inhuman war crimes” type but in the sense of “H.P. Lovecraft’s eldritch horrors that are beyond human comprehension” type.
Sanguinius’ fighting style is simply beyond our comprehension and rationale, because he is too good, too fast, too everything (thanks to his premonition). Which is also noted upon in the book:
“Trying to catch how he did it – how he fought, how he killed – that was hard. Part of it was the speed, the manic velocity of every single movement, a fractured display in the flickering light that seemed more an act of sorcery than physics. Just as before, though, I glimpsed the impossibility in his movements. We are mortal, we make mistakes. We aim, we miss; we strive, we fail. He never missed. He never failed. And it turns out the human brain doesn’t process that very well. We start to try to recategorise it as something else – a machine at work, the operation of a chemical reaction, the effects of gravity. I could barely see any kinship with him at all, not just because he was better, but because he was other.”
Bob is not a happy camper, because it is at this moment that he realizes, how damn lucky we humans are that these abnormal beings are on our side (for now, hah!):
“I was close to tears myself, just from witnessing what a primarch could do when the fetters were off. […] What had we made here? What had we let loose? He was on our side and I should have felt happy about that, but you couldn’t be, not watching what he did when he was given licence.”
Going a bit back in the book, the word “hyperhuman” is used to describe the Great Angel, and I admit, it fits perfectly. :
“To go up against Sanguinius was to be faced with a soul acting barely within the laws of time and space, something that bulged at the constraints of matter, that operated a hair’s width beyond the possible. It was superhuman. It was hyperhuman.”
And the worst (best) part is, Bob is the only non-combatant who sees all this atrocities happening, because he got special VIP ticket to the front lines from Sanguinius. Other remembrances, only get the full-blown propaganda material which they rely upon to create further wholesome propaganda, creating an image of the BA that is, simply said, family friendly and sanitized bs.
The thing is, that’s exactly what this Legion is going for: the propagation of a positive image of the BA.
They need it, because they know what they are and what they are hiding. Which is also the reason why Bob is the only exception to the rule of no remembrancers on the battlefield. If anyone else saw what the astartes and their dad was doing down there, they would be running away screaming.
The BA enjoy the carnage, the close combat, the slaughter but they also know that what they are doing is tabu for the great masses (not for their own sake, but for the sake of the image of the Crusade).
Long story short, I hope the above was a somewhat comprehensible mess of what I was trying to convey: primarchs are engineered, non-human entities that have more in common with Lovecraftian Old Gods than with us, wee baselines.
And we love them for it.
In part 2, I will go into more details of Sangunius person / character outside of battle.
P.S. Please, also don’t read this so-called “analysis” as anti-ship or anti-hcs. Thank you 😊

Okay, this is really random, but how the hell would forensics work in Harry Potter??
I plan to go into forensics so I’m reading up on it because I’m not very knowledgeable on it and it got me thinking, what the hell would it look like in the magical world?
There are only three scenes I can remember of the court and they were the convictions of the Lestranges/Barty Crouch Jr., the questioning of Igor Karkaroff and Harry’s trial. And honestly, they don’t seem very well thought out in the slightest.
The first one there seemed to be no proper evidence against Barty for the crime he was convicted for. Yes, he was a Death Eater, but the only evidence they had was that he was nearby from what I remember. Igor Karkaroff I can’t remember if he was under the truth serum or not, but regardless he shouldn’t have been let go of just for giving information. And then there’s Harrys!
I’m just going to go into Harry’s trial since we know the most information, but I seriously think the magical world has extremely outdated forensics. First, if a student casts such a strong spell I think it should warrant an investigation immediately. People should have came over to the Dursleys and looked for evidence and gotten witness reports along with searching the alleyway for signs of a struggle. It was clear something fishy was going on, especially if a patronus was cast imo. Maybe that’s not how it works, but if they’re going to try and expel him they need evidence.
The only evidence they had was a spell had been cast, Harry can cast a patronus and he wasn’t at school. Firstly, the trace could have been set off by someone else, and who’s to say Harry didn’t have a good reason?
Anyways, that’s a bit of a rant, but you’d think they’d be advanced in forensics when they can literally make spells.
It’s also really odd to me how Myrtle’s death was so quickly thought to be from an acromantula when how they kill would have been entirely different than a basilisk. They clearly hadn’t examined her body because if they had they wouldn’t have found internal or external injuries (theoretically). Not to mention how it’s extremely likely several students have already been petrified, an ability an actomantula does not possess.
Her body should have been examined, Aurors should have been called to the scene of the crime and the corridor to the bathroom should have been shut down. Though there should have been an investigation the moment the first student was petrified.
Also, they already knew it was likely the Chamber of Secrets which means they knew it was likely a creature involved. Yet they never called a magizoologist in to inspect the victims and figure out the creature involved. There’s also the fact the creature is likely serpentine due to the founder involved.
However, no investigation came and Dumbledore never told the Aurors that there was a parseltongue at Hogwarts that’s sorted in Slytherin and might know something about it. Not to mention how Tom is the one who turned Hagrid in which should have immediately made him a suspect.
In conclusion I think the magical world is just violently stupid and clearly has barely if any forensics in my opinion.

i can't be the only person who doesn't think Lucanis was imitating Illario during the "almost kiss" scene, right?
to me, it felt more like Lucanis trying - not for the first time in the game - to recapture some of who he was before the ossuary; his confidence. he's been trying, over and over and over, to pretend like he could pick up the pieces of his old life. but he doesn't fit in the mold anymore. Lucanis is trying to give rook the person he used to be - the person he thinks he needs to be - rather than the person he is now (because he doesn't know how to accept that yet).
and when that comes up against how much he realizes he wants them, he snaps away.
you can literally see it on his face. the realization. the sadness. he doesn't want to pull away. but he can't accept rook without accepting that he can't go back to his old life, and he's not ready for that yet.
the person he's imitating isn't Illario.
Lucanis is trying to imitate himself.
#let me also be clear that this is JUST my opinion#this is not me saying anyone's interpretation is wrong#everyone is going to interpret their media differently#and this just happens to be mine#but i wanted to see if anyone else had the same thought#lucanis dellamorte#lucanis#rookanis#dragon age veilguard#dragon age#lucanis x rook#( text posts. )#( my opinions. )

I like the ec as much as the next person and I’m so grateful that Nora decided to share any part of her creative process with us but I need some of yall to remember that the extra content is not canon
Nora took it down because (and this is mostly conjecture tbf) as she started to develop the story for the new trilogy, it started to contradict things that were included in the ec (ie in the ec Kevin and Jean don’t speak a single word to each other until spring championships, in canon they have obviously spoken quite a bit). Which is a normal part of the creative process. Things change and grow and develop along the way. The ec is only snippets divorced from context because they don’t take place within the framework of any story. All canon content happens inside the book. No exceptions.
That’s true of any media, not just aftg. What actors or showrunners say at cons is not canon. What writers say in interviews is not canon. What directors say during commentary is not canon. Tweets are not canon. Canon is only the information confined to the original media because that is the only thing to which everyone has guaranteed access.
Saying something can’t be true based on evidence from the ec is misinformed at best and you’re doing yourself a disservice because you are failing to fully interact with the text in front of you. You’re bringing in preconceived notions that aren’t even true anymore, that were never true in the first place, because the extra content has never been, and will never be, canon.
#I’ll be the first person to throw out canon and do whatever I want#but I’m getting real sick and tired of people bringing up the ec as evidence during canon analysis#‘well in the ec’ and ‘well actually’ are starting to have the same rage inducing effect on me#also let’s be clear#if I’m talking about something in the canon#and you bring up the ec as a way to refute my conclusions#your opinion is invalid#but if I’m just throwing around head canons then bring it on#i’ll quote the ec from memory#aftg#all for the game#aftg ec#extra content#aftg extra content#aftg analysis#canon content#aftg canon#nora sakavic

Oooh, definitely glee for the fandom asks! <3
Always with the hornets' nests with these ones, I see! Though i don't think there's a fandom out there that isn't in some way a hornets' nest once it gets large enough... hm. Alright. I'm just gonna be as honest as i can be about this, and tag accordingly.
Glee:
my favourite female character: augh. argh. ouph. so difficult. so hard. Since I'm working off of half-remembered show and half recently-rewatched show... its a tossup. Mercedes, Santana, Quinn. Probably Mercedes. She did nothing wrong ever in her entire life <3 well okay maybe except that one time she smashed kurt's car windows (but it was a banger song, though). Can't say Santana because of the Biphobia TM and other things like excessive use of bigotry-based insults, and Quinn. Oh god girl. Cheating is not cool! Funnily enough! So I find them really interesting but 'favourite' is hard to say. Mercedes. Mercedes for sure <3
my favourite male character: Blaine sam blaine sam blaine sam yes. I am imitating ripping petals off of flowers and coming to a conclusion based on which is the last name i said. So I guess that means Sam! But really this is a tie.
my favourite book/season/etc: Mannnnn idk. I don't like shows for seasons as-a-whole. Also i could not tell you what happened in any given season if you held a gun to my head. I'm not good at that. The only shows i know 'seasons' of are Buffy and Teen Wolf because i've watched them like 100000000000 times (exaggeration) for various reasons (mostly fanfiction research).
my favourite episode (if its a tv show): I can tell you my LEAST favourite episode (blame it on the alcohol, thank you Kurt king of biphobia! this is a persona foible it's not the worst episode in the show. by far. by far. it's kind of an average one. I'm just angry at it.) BUT er. Favourite? Idk. Genuinely some of the earlier Kurt-centric stuff was really well done (his convo with Burt... <3) and the Quinn giving birth accompanied by bohemian rhapsody was obviously iconic, but if I'll be honest I couldn't name any episodes of this show (other than That One previously stated, anyway). And yeah most of the time they were named after song titles and No i don't remember those song titles either. I'm just so bad at this. My memory is that of a goldfish's being haphazardly bounced around on a sieve.
my favourite cast member: it would be really funny if I said Demi Lovato [she counts!] but the truth is N/A: i don't know these people !!! They are strangers!! (i don't. follow celebrities. at all. I couldn't even name most of them. They're just people doing a job and their lives are irrelevant to me beyond their ability to perform that job well. I do not need to know where they live and what coffee they drink. Stalker shit tbh. I'm kind of a very private person myself, so rpf-adjacent stuff just... creeps me out. I've never watched a single cast interview in my lifetime and I'm not about to start!)
my favourite ship: Difficult to say! Grave and obvious lie. Blam. It's blam. Quintana is a close runner up though Santana really needs to stop dating people who cheat on the regular (I'll accept Quinn has grown enough not to do this by the time a Quintana coupling would be viable - and satisfying in terms of character arcs - narratively speaking).
a character I’d die defending: Blaine Anderson did something wrong for sure but like Kurt did it first so shrugs. Cancels out. Bad for each other! Case closed!
a character I just can’t sympathize with: genuinely don't remember if I had one of those the first time around because I was like 10 and just didn't pay attention if I didn't care, but Terri and her racist self take that 'prize' this time, alongside the obvious predator in the room [original choir teacher. Sandy? I forget his name immediately after hearing it. He doesn't deserve to be remembered]. Also JBI is just.... a yikes character all around. I mean, he's a blatant stereotype for one, in a the people who wrote this person don't like jews kind of way. Unfortunately common stereotype too, for the era, so not only is he that, he's also lazy. Just a one-note pervert who's the butt of various antisemitic 'jokes' you've heard from era-peer shows a million times over, tired and awful and a sour reminder of bigotry that continues to this day. Really regrettable character who's lack of redeeming qualities was probably purposeful. (I know Rachel and tina are also jewish, but this comes up very rarely and mostly only when santana needs to say something kind of fucked up, as is her modus operandi, for 'comic relief'. Tina's jewish-ness wasn't even canon for several seasons, because she didn't have a surname or a family or anything resembling complex character depth for several seasons. The one time I really remember Rachel's religion being important was when she was pressuring Kurt into believing in some kind of god, which??? don't do that. Bad example. Trying to guilt trip a friend into faith sucks. I take back what i said earlier Mercedes did that too. Boo. Girls try again that was a bad showing all around. Though i have no idea why Kurt went the acupuncture route as his 'secular' option but i think that has to do a lot with the writers doing literally no research ever once in their lives (you can tell they don't by the way they write the football segments of the show, which make no sense according to football fans who watch Glee, of which there are numerous because real life isn't like fiction where you can only like music or sports. Most of the kids in my school year were doing the most of everything ever if they were the 'popular' ones - we do that differently; popularity isn't really based on who know know; for some bizzare reason literally everyone knew who I was? Even people I'd never spoken to?? - but more about like... how much you can do, I guess. Overachievers, but I'm not saying that negatively; these people were generally - generally - very nice, and surprisingly chill for people who had no spare time whatsoever. I'm not entirely sure when they slept; A* across the board, at least one sport, at least one instrument, several extracurriculars, parties every weekend, dozens of friends and an s.o. . Eh? Way too much going on. Scary lifestyle! Impressive burnout rate, probably. Er. Tangent! Back to the scheduled programming).) There's uhhhh there's a lot of bad characters on the show, but i'd say Sandy and Terri and her equally but more loudly racist sister are truly completely irredeemable ones. Like they're not interesting or anything, they're just there to be narrative annoyances (which, in the case of Sandy specifically, is insane. Arrest that man!!! He has actively sexually assaulted minors!!!).
a character I grew to love: difficult to say because I tend to just make an opinion and stick to it. Also i don't remember who i liked at first and who i didn't, this show came out when i was eight. I didn't watch it until I was a little older than that, of course, but I frankly have spotty memory until my late teens, so! I'm not sure!! Quinn, probably. Pink-hair-era Quinn helped me understand her more, and seeing the moments of kindness hidden behind practical cruelty, when you understand her family and situation, makes things make a lot more sense. It takes a lot to get me to sympathise with a cheater, but I can see where Quinn was getting all turned around in her head about life because of her upbringing and socialisation, not to mention the profoundly negative impact cheerios had on her mentally and that the school's culture in general was not exactly a breeding ground for empathy and optimism.
my anti otp: can you tell (klaine). I don't dislike Kurt!!! Please let him have a fun chillaxed boyfriend in new york with his vogue friends. But also please stop attempting to control other people's diets thank you!! Thank you!! I'm of mixed feelings. Blaine and Kurt both did at least one bad, relationship-ending thing, and proved over and over again that they just weren't on the same wavelength in regards to life goals and ways of living it. They can't even share the same living space, which is kind of required for a functional marriage. I don't know, it just seems like they settled for their first proper, serious boyfriend even if that's not really the best match, and I... wish they'd just got to see more of life first, you know? They got married at like 20! Or something! I'm 23, I cannot imagine getting married at 20. That's a baby. Let them live first!
(same for Santana and Brittney, imo. I also don't really like them together because Santana and Brittney have very different ideas regarding monogamy, which is just never going to go down well in the long run. If your girl cheats on you like twenty times and tells you to your face its not cheating in her view of things, but you think it is, break up with her because you'll just make each other miserable. Brittney sort of seems incapable of feeling guilt but if she were, this kind of moral pressure would be Not Good, and obviously Santana isn't comfortable with the idea and doesn't have to be!! Just move on!!! Find other people!!!! Don't marry your first girlfriend if you've broken up like ten times this is simple!!!! Please!!!! But Klaine wins out over Brittana because - in my opinion, glee fandom please do not persecute me, I am known for this specific thing - I see... interactions that verge on abusive between Klaine that I don't see in Brittana. So. Oof? Ex; use of public perception to disguise attack; deliberately hurting Blaine in a stage-combat fencing match (you are not meant to make actual contact in these) and thus using Blaine's own dislike of making his difficulties common knowledge against him in order to 'punish' him. This is no good! Don't do this!!.[Also just to err vaguepost about a comment.... that is. not. what i would call passive aggressive. Physically attacking someone with a sword - no matter the type of sword, fencing foils hurt just as much, they're just not stab-you sharp... er, these days - is just straight-up aggressive.]).
Note that negative things stick in the mind better than positive ones; on a rewatch I may well alter my opinion!
But also I'm really, really stubborn. So it's not likely. Klaine.
#how the fuck do i tag this#glee#glee shite#ask game#anti-klaine#anti-brittana#anti-kurt#though it isn't because i do like him genuinely one of the better characters. he just... doesn't treat blaine great because they're#fundamentally incompatible romantically. and that's fine! but taking this out on each other isn't.#augh. i hate talking about controversial shit a;lksfja;slkf i used to get So Scared of anon hate mobs you have no idea#if i thought something could get that i simply would never ever not one even dare to think it. let alone say it online in a private forum#(dms with my friends) or god forbid a public post#so. this is growth!#you could say i just got a really weird form of catholic guilt about dissenting from public opinion when i was like 14. you'd also probably#be correct! As I was catholic. And all. Not very devout mind you (did not. go to church.) but still#anyways.#... there's so much i could say about brittany as a character but i'd have to rewatch to make sure i was being accurate about her.#so much that isn't exactly glowing commendation. to be clear.#augh. this show gives me so many very very mean thoughts about it. because it does things so very meanly most of the time#it handles beaste well. Coach Beaste is great. 11/10 character#but so much other stuff it gets just so wrong. just so wrong#(also i never finished the show. actually like genuinely i just missed a whole portion of it. so if they fuck up Beaste at some point I hav#not seen I'll be really really mad.)#(I found out about some of the later events-second hand. i don't 100% know how the brittana marriage goes down but i just... don't like it#as a concept. like at all. they're too young and too unstable for that shit.)#(basically; towards the end i was still watching the show on tv. so i missed whole swathes of episodes thanks to how tv works. do not miss#that headache!)#augh. i should shut up now and go to bed. midnight.)#<3 thanks for the ask! Hope i didn't say anything you disagree with too strongly...

as an aspiring storyteller & writer i find analyzing what works & what doesn’t work in media to be incredibly important. not only does it help us realize where we may have made mistakes in our writing & how to improve going forward, but it also helps understand why certain stories work so well. it helps us realize why critically acclaimed media is so critically acclaimed & appreciate the thought, care, & intelligence that went into making it so special. without criticism- all that thought loses its meaning. bland stories become indistinct from the incredible ones & all the deeply well thought out plot points & messages wash away into a sea of poor &/or lazy writing. we need criticism to appreciate strong writing. being critical of your interests- whether it be a highly acclaimed film or a weaker piece of media that you hold deadly despite its flaws- shows maturity, media literacy, & overall the beauty of how different stories resonate so deeply with people regardless of its issues. that’s why the way Vivziepop responds to criticism irks me on such a strong level. Helluva Boss is a very poorly written show (in my humble opinion, at least). Season 2 has retconned a ridiculous amount of things established season 1 (most notably Stolas’ entire character), has a massive problem with maintaining tone, jumps around from plot to plot by introducing new threat after new threat only to abandoned that threat by introducing a new one the next episode, struggles with developing its own main & supporting characters, & perhaps most offensively of all often comes off as downright fetish-y of gay men. These are all valid criticisms, all of which Vivziepop tries to dismiss as “baseless & unfair”. She claims she respects fair criticism yet never makes a distinction between what is fair & unfair, treating everything as the latter, going on twitter rampages where she attempts to defend her writing decisions & ridicules anyone who dare challenge them. If Vivziepop believes she’s writing the show in the optimal way, fine. If she doesn’t want to listen to criticism & continues to take Helluva Boss in the direction it’s currently going, fine. so be it. She’s in such a unique position where she’s so close to her audience & actively listening to their criticisms, I personally don’t understand why one wouldn’t try to take advantage of that to better their show, but at the same time I can understand having a set story in mind & wanting to take it your way despite what anyone else says. It can be frustrating to have everyone telling you you’re doing your passion project wrong- i get that. but in that case- just continue writing the show how you want, ignore the criticism, & stop having hissy fits on twitter calling people homophobic for not liking your writing (seriously what the fuck? that’s laughable of her to saying given how she writes her gay characters, just saying). Your writing should speak for itself, you shouldn’t have to defend it by crying on twitter. Dismissing all criticism & trying to paint the narrative that you’re nothing more than a victim with a hatedom out to get you is BAFFLINGLY immature ESPECIALLY as someone in their 30s. It only bothers me so much because she’s actively fostering an environment that dismisses criticism which i think is genuinely harmful. & as much as Helluva tries to be an adult show, let’s be real here, a majority of its audience are teenagers who look up to Viv & if THIS is the mindset they end up developing surrounding criticism I think it could genuinely be a problem in regards to their media literacy in the future. People can like Helluva Boss, people can ignore its flaws, but that kind of relationship with criticism is not healthy. at all.
#let me be clear I don’t think Vivziepop is gonna cause the death of media literacy or anything. that’d be ridiculous#but as an aspiring writing myself & someone who dreams of creating an indie internet show like her it really is disheartening to see#also if you disagree with what i said or enjoy Helluva then cool. enjoy yourself /gen#I’m not trying to start fights or drama with this post. it’s just my personal opinions & i wanted to put my thoughts somewhere#helluva critical#vivziepop critical

sorry im just thinking about bcs but like. why not add a few smaller scenes of gus interacting with his own men? why does it seem like, in comparison, mike is almost immediately elevated to a higher status than those two in bcs purely because we actually get to see him having normal conversations with gus? like i understand they might not keep the plot moving as well because of the fact obviously if victor is currently doing something it’s because gus told him to etc. but for the most part all of the smaller interactions gus does have with those two ends up being in a somewhat high stress situation where it feels very tense between everyone. and it’s just like damn! is it always like that?? why do those two even care that much about their jobs if their boss is a bit of a dick? etc. i think even an additional scene or two with those guys (either alone or the both of them) talking with gus in a more normal situation could’ve both added a bit more depth into how gus treats his employees (we got a lot with how he treats lyle and co., but not a whole lot with the illegal side of things), how comfortable vic and tyrus feel around him in a calmer setting, and exactly why they both feel the need to be as loyal as they are to the guy.
and also on the other side of this i don't think it'd hurt to maybe elaborate on their pay just a bit..? i'm not saying to randomly put a number out into the atmosphere but i just mean some smaller things like. do they buy nicer things for themselves? what's their housing situation? what's their car situation? are the escalade / yukon their own vehicles or does gus just use those two for business situations? do they use them when they're doing their own stuff off the clock or do they have their own cars? etc. that can also help with understanding their motivations a bit. don't get me wrong i don't think they should be visibly rich or something because that's not what gus would want but just smaller things! cause it's easy to write their loyalty off as Well they probably get paid super well, which i'm sure is true, but if they don't show a single hint of that then what's the point. even something as simple as giving tyrus a nice watch, or maybe victor having a nicer looking gun, etc. something small like that. because as it stands right now the average 41 year old viewer who watched the show once only knows and will only ever know victor and tyrus as those two guys in the background who do random stuff for gus with no clear motivation. just the personification of "On it boss (salute emoji)". and to be honest this is true for a whole lot of fans who do watch the show multiple times and enjoy thinking about it more in depth, because on screen we barely have anything about the two.
and to be clear i'm not trying to say we should have an episode just for them or something like no i understand they're side characters. i understand we don't need all that. and i understand this is also primarily Jimmy's show. but it's not like these two are on the same level as like, arlo or paige and kevin etc. these guys have been around since brba. victor was literally introduced in the same episode gus was. and they are a huge part of gus's story, especially in brba. s4 wouldn't have been what it was without victor and tyrus. and in bcs, ignacio's situation wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for victor and tyrus as well. and i just personally believe that if their goal with gus in bcs was to go back and elaborate on how everything came to be and show what he was like a few years younger, they could've dragged victor and tyrus into that. and i think his character would've benefited from taking that extra step with those two.
#gray.txt#and you know. obviously i personally have my own clear ideas of everything. and i'm content with what i got. this isn't coming from a place#of Well victor is my favorite guy so everything should be about him LOL. i know what he is.#but thats only because i spent like what? 2 years now watching random interviews and analyzing the smallest details within the show that#genuinely meant nothing while they were writing the scripts. and then throwing some random ideas at the wall to see if they stick.#and i just dont think everybody should have to do that LOL. and i think gus's character gets a lot more interesting#when do you do have this clear idea of victor and tyrus in your head and how he interacts with them. but 99% of people dont have that!#nobody fucking knows everything giancarlo and vince ever said about box cutter. nobody knows about the interview where giancarlo referred t#his entire business (meth and restaurant) as his 'family'. and they'd never think of that in those terms#because with the exception of his restaurant workers and mike#it feels like he HATES them LMAO.#tldr all i'm saying is i think we could've benefited from at least one 1 minute long scene of victor and gus exchanging words#where it doesn't end in gus snapping the phone in half out of anger. and also let tyrus speak his mind and have gus agree with him once#also yeah sorry this is all over the place but it is somehow the most coherent i have felt in months so this is as good as its getting sorr#sorry .#also to be clear about my earlier statement that’s a lie my idea of those two is not clear in my head whatsoever i just meant in comparison#to literally the average viewer. and my own personal thoughts about them aren’t even true it’s just opinions and guesses.#and i love a character that i can just say shit about but at the same time i think it’s fun to have idk something in the source material#that you can actually use while thinking and not have to dig around 11 year old reddit AMAs#and that money paragraph sort of came out of order what i meant by saying all that is like#i feel those two could benefit from a clear motivation for why they do all the things they do#and if we have neither personal reasons nor monetary reasons then it just makes them feel like one dimensional henchmen or something#came out of no where* not order you dumb fuck (< me)#also it doesn’t have to be clear in our faces or anything whatever you know what i’m saying . this is too long i can’t keep elaborating

I want to debate with you over dsmp lore but I'm terrified you'll hate me
Hate? I won’t hate you for having an opinion, everyone has a right to one and I’m happy you have one :D especially if it’s your opinion not purely someone else’s (not to say it can’t align with someone else but it’s yours as in your not just mindlessly repeating someone if that makes sense…). And typically there is a little truth in both sides. Even in the times I’ve disagreed with people it has made me question things. Like for example my conversation with elmhat about c!Quackity prompted me to ask the question: why do I see him as unempathic and find no sympathy for him? Was he not betrayed? Was he not hurt? Was he not discriminated against and overlooked? Why is it that I can be so against him when some of the same things I sympathize with Dream on happened with Quackity. Which then spurred my research into Antisocial Personality Disorder (disorder relating to psychopaths and sociopaths) and Audience Perception. So even if I disagree or dislike what you have to say, I’m not going to hate you for it, and it’ll likely make me question why I think differently, often spurring my dive into lore where I usually find other fun things.
Like this funny clip with c!Schlatt and c!Quackity I discovered last night where c!Schlatt says that Austin Show is dead with him, which almost implies he’s some secret additional mystery character drifting in limbo?…
unless of course we consider that c!Schlatt also talks about the picture on his wall as his Dad who runs the gym with him… man seems to be going insane to be honest and who can blame him, he’s spent how many decades in limbo?…
Anyways, having said that, while certainly optional, definitely not required or necessary or expected, I’ll just let you know as an autistic person I do appreciate sources because there are a lot of times I forget about something or didn’t know and I want to see for myself, not because I don’t personally trust you but because my general rule to the internet is to not pass something on as truth just because someone said that because even in the context outside of dsmp analysis that’s how misinformation spreads so fast.
#anyways always feel free to debate with me it’s fun and if I’m even coming across too aggressive feel free to let me know#it’s not my intention as I respect everyone’s right to their opinion in if I think they are wrong and that doesn’t mean I can’t also like#them as a person#again you obviously don’t have to use sources or whatever just an aside if it’s clear enough for me to find then it’s like you need a link#but umm this applies to me as well because I can also misremember thjngs and have been corrected#in fact I’d go as far to say as some of the things and opinions I’ve had in the past I’ve since changed because of other people and lore#so yea please feel free to debate don’t be scared I don’t bite. only fun analysis c!dream things and analysis is what I strive for <3 <3#hello there#c!schlatt#c!quackity#dsmp lore

Man, I realize demanding that someone execute their own brother is pretty fucked up, but He Xuan asking that of Shi Qingxuan still gave them more respect than Shi Qingxuan ever got from Shi Wudu [gave them the ability to make their own choice after finally being given the full story and enough context to actually have the capacity for informed consent, something that Shi Wudu spent centuries denying to Shi Qingxuan] and also, He Xuan did nothing wrong and should be allowed to do all the atrocities he wants, thank you for your time
#this bitch told me shi wudu loves his brother more than anything; i said 'bitch where'#she said 'under all his bluster and overbearing bullshit'; i said 'BITCH *WHERE*'#like………all tea all shade: shi wudu is actually the person who jiang cheng antis think they are hating#selfish? check. never listens? check. disrespects everyone's agency? check. no self-reflection on atrocities? check. learns nothing? CHECK.#i wish all jiang cheng antis a very 'please read tgcf so you can at least meet a character who actually does all the things you're saying'#literally every decision he made was fundamentally fucking selfish & he just gaslit himself into believing#that he did it—all of it—out of love for shi qingxuan#like how do you look at shi qingxuan—finally in the loop after centuries of being denied that chance—telling their gege#'no please let's pick the first option i would rather be a piteous wretch driven to madness by my own suffering than#live in a world where you died unnecessarily; we can make things right with he xuan AND both live; a miserable life is better than DEATH'#and shi wudu going 'lmao denied stop being a whiny little bitch and come chop my head off already you'll thank me for this later'#and walk away from that genuinely believing that this is a man who loves his brother. it's pretty clear to me that he does not.#love looks like a lot of different things and as far as i'm concerned this ain't one of them#also he xuan should be allowed to do all the atrocities he pleases thank u#kassie hush#mine: text#opinions for ts#wank for ts#idk? maybe? i'm being a hater so it probably counts

ive realised, its not that my family is against me or out to get me, its just that theyre indifferent to me & they want their kicks one way or another
be it drama, resources, revenge, someone to take their emotions out on; they want their kicks and dont care who gets hurt or traumatized. especially not me.
white family be like
#family issues#not even my dad cares. he just wants to get revenge on my mom for kissing someone else once & letting me take another year bc i failed a yr#not even realising that he'll make me take another year if he goes through w/ it. he just wants his kicks.#it hurts.#im indifferent and sometimes neutral to most of my family. theres only like 2 or 3 people i hate and 5 i feel safe with. out of alot.#my dad & half sister are like ok i guess but i dont feel as safe w/ them. theyre safer than everyone im indifferent/neutral with though#also b4 someone gets angry that i said white family be like; this is a REALLY white family & i practically glow in the dark#like if a sunbeam shone on my skin id light up a whole ass room#too bad you cant drag tags on mobile anymore#im like. the kid of 2 black sheeps. i have double of the black sheep curse. im just lucky i didnt have much physical abuse#that i remember#also when i say im indifferent; it just means i just stay clear of them; i stay wary & i care about them like a stranger in the store#neutral means i dont know if theyre safe or not and my opinion can swing either way
