AU where when Danny first got in the portal for the picture jazz being the protective older sister she is and knowing her parents "lab safety" she goes in with Danny and when he trips her immediate thought was to save him from falling in the danger trap she considered the portal and they both become halfas que the canon ghost shenanigans but add protect younger siblings obsessed jazz being a absolute nightmare standing behind Danny the hole time just daring someone to go after team phantom and any time they do they immediately regret as they have angered the older sibling and mercy is not an option.

When pariah dark happens they team up to own him no suit required and jazz and Danny become sibling rulers of the realms.

Somehow their parents find out and go mad scientist on them jazz is 18 in this so says fuck you takes Danny and as the nature secretly petty as shit just calls CPS and takes Danny and sues her parents for child support.

They + Sam & Tucker (because they can convince Tucker's parents it will be good for his future tech career and Sam just tells her parents she's going to stay with her dads side of the family(the drakes)) go to Gotham because no GIW unlike Amity and is ecto rich I also imagine that both are on their way to becoming Ancients of space (Danny) and as odd as it seems older siblings(jazz) they are confused at first until it's explained that the belief of the love and protections that older siblings are some of the most protective and also mischievous towards their younger siblings has built up to for an ancient and jazz just happened to become that ancient.

Que jazz helping college students in the Gotham U library study when they miss their older siblings help like when they where growing up and just being a protection spirit but to siblings in particular. This becomes super annoying when the bats and the birds start setting off her instincts after joker escapes and she can only relax after beating the shit out of him with the anti-creep stick in front of red hood who promptly falls in love with her much to the annoyance of Danny who was already secretly dating tim and meeting at the local coffee shop and ordering their coffee

Honestly the funniest thing about TDP to me is that Rayla for some reason always thinks Callum isn't 100% ride-or-die with her on any given situation. Seriously, she could decide she's jumping off a cliff and he'd do it too--oh wait.

I get that half of it is 'protecting' him but like. Girl he has been ready to die and kill for you since the first snake chain incident. It has not lightened up since. In fact its gotten worse. She's his special little guy and if anything happens to her he will kill everyone in the room and then himself. She physically cannot ever sacrifice herself for anyone because Callum WILL be following her straight into the afterlife in no less than a minute. I'm fully convinced he can and would go even further than Claudia and he'd barely have to think on it for five seconds before shrugging like "damn this sucks, can't believe I have to turn evil" "you literally don't have to--" "no I'm gonna"

And honestly I think that's peak teenagers first girlfriend behavior.

I find it kind of hilarious that Doremy Sweet never caused a problem in her life she's just dealing with someone else's mess every time she appears in a game. In LoLK she's either going "oh shit oh fuck you're a physical person you shouldn't be here or you might go crazy" or "sorry they're kinda making me do this. Actually I don't care go to the moon or something". Not to mention having to make a fake capital for them. And in aocf she's just trying to round up the mess that Rich Bitch Supreme caused her!! She just politely explains exactly what's going on to anyone confused and is only a little snide about everyone contributing to making her job hell. Except for yukari, bc she tears her a new one the second yukari decides to get all high and mighty thinking she's allowed to interfere with her work. It is not very often someone gets to put YUKARI FUCKING YAKUMO in her place. And she gives Reisen a chance to vent her frustrations in the process bc she's cool like that. Oh and ig in 16.5 she has to babysit a feral teenager. Again. Idk I think we focus too much on "lol look how fucked up it is that x touhou girl did y" we don't focus enough on the silly little guys who are just trying to help. I can excuse the sweet sleep pillow shenanigans and general smugness bc she has gone through enough and totally deserves to be Like That. At this point if she DID instigate an incident I'd say let her. This post was not supposed to be this long what the fuck happened. I love doremy so much.

Hmm maybe I’m wrong, but they forgot the part where upon seeing Percy killed, Keyleth entered God Mode and nuked Orthax with a 5th level thunderwave and rolled 43 points of thunder damage and also the part where rest of Vox Machina cornered Ripley and collectively got the How Do You Want To Do This and obliterated her while Taliesin looked on proudly from the afterlife. That moment was so important for the plot.

Also, idk what the fucking deal was, but they did Kash so dirty. I did not like that one single bit.

I think someone should just throw all of the BG3 companions into Dungeon of the Mad Mage. Just take the post-canon generally considered "good" endings and throw em in there.

Why? Because it would be hilarious to me and also that's like the one official module that goes up to level 20.

I won't lie and say the only thing I can think of is the team trying to kill an angry mechanical purple worm while screeching at Gale because "what do you mean we're in Waterdeep and you know the bastard who owns this death trap?? Editing to add (again): This is using the bastardized wendigo from popculture. It's not using the wendigo in the context of the spirit, more in the context of the Hannibal "Ravenstag" or even Antlers' wendigo. Check the Anon link near the end of the post for more information regarding my thoughts on the subject :) I didn't mention the deer-like qualities until the tags, which I understand some people don't fully read. That's my bad, so here I am with the full context ahead of time. This is not the Algonquian version of the wendigo spirit. i really want to write a DCxDP fic where Danny gets trapped in a different form (like either true form or just gets cursed, something like that) and can't get out of it. That form? A wendigo. Somehow he ends up in the DC universe - either through already living there or Ghost Zone shenanigans.

Being a wendigo, Danny feels the need to eat flesh. Preferably human, but even in his screwed-up state he knows that's wrong of him to do. So he takes to killing the bare minimum amount of wildlife he can to sustain himself. Eventually he realizes that "oh wait, what if I just raided a store?" So he stumbles out of the woods and into the nearest grocery store after they had closed. He ends up eating enough to settle his stomach before going off to hide to wait for this whatever to wear off.

However, this catches the attention of [insert local hero]. [Insert local hero] goes to the Justice League about this - maybe this creature is a new villain's scheme? Or just a new villain? Members of the JL + Justice League Dark then go out to [insert town Danny was spotted in] to do some investigating. Batman being one of these people, plus Robin because Damian would not let Bruce go without him. A wendigo could be like a shark after all, just a big ol' puppy.

They get to [insert town here] and start cracking down. They compare the old footage to the location, tracking where the wendigo went. Finally Batman, Robin and [insert characters here] are able to get to the wendigo's den... only to find out the wendigo is a lot more ghost-like than they thought it would be.

There's a big fight because Wendigo-Brain!Danny thought these random dudes were the GIW coming for his undead ass that ends with Danny taking off. Unknowingly to Danny, Damian has grabbed onto him and is basically riding his soon-to-be pet into the sunset.

... I just want to 1) see Danny suffer and being confused 2) Damian trying to get a new dangerous pet and 3) get Damian trying to tame a feral Wendigo!Danny like any normal person would try to befriend that feral orange cat living in the dumpster.

Adding this just to cover my own butt about this haha, here's a link that contains a post which covers the research I have done on the topic of the wendigo: Anon Ask Post Here. I am not trying to culturally appropriate, offend, or harm anyone with a prompt post about Danny taking the form of a wendigo. It's a cool concept to me as I believe it is a bit ironic. The wendigo, as seen in the culture it originates from, is a symbol of greed and a harsh winter and are often a sign of cannibalism. They have hearts of ice and an "unseasonable chill might precede its approach".

I think this is ironic because 1 - Danny is a sweet little bean and being stuck with cannibalistic cravings is a Hannibal Fic trope that will forever rot in my brain + Ghost King!Danny having to eat Pariah Dark's core is a headcanon I adore, 2 - the chill preceding a wendigo's approach reminds me of Danny's ghost sense, 3 - Danny is the LEAST greedy person I can think of in the entirety of DP (even if he does have his selfish moments at the worst times ever), and 4 - wendigos possess human beings. In Native legend a wendigo is a "malevolent spirit" which possesses humans - technically if you are going to stick with the general wendigo legends then it does not have antlers, horns, or is even a beast. It's just a giant human. Which, if using the correct/original version of a wendigo, makes this 10x funnier to me, because Damian that is clearly a giant person what the fUCK ARE YOU DOING--

Anyways, long story short if you have issues with me using a wendigo for a "haha funny" prompt please DM me with any sort of articles, legends, documentaries, ect. on why using a wendigo is a Bad Thing. Like I said in the linked post, I'm always willing to learn and adjust my behavior. I just want proof that the changes I'm going to make are the correct ones to be making, as my years on the internet have ALWAYS told me to fact check anything :)

Thinking about nya and how often destiny strips her choices away from her again. She’s a character who is constantly being told what she has to do, with what she actually wants being seen as irrelevant by… everyone, basically. I think the first time we really see this is in season three, when the perfect match machine tells her Cole is her soulmate. Nya’s already trying to distance herself from Jay, and when this happens, she shows interest in Cole for a bit, but it clearly never would have occurred to her to think about it if he hadn’t shown up as her perfect match, and if she hadn’t already been feeling uncertain about being with Jay. (Also, I think that since all the tech in Borg Tower was already infected with the overlord virus when this happened, the only reason Cole popped up as her match was because the overlord could see it was the best way to create instability in the team, further using Nya as a mean to other people’s ends.)

So first, Nya is told that Cole is her perfect match, which means she has to consider him even though the only thing she can really find to say about him is that he isn’t Jay, and she certainly isn’t planning on telling either of them. Except them Pixal tells everyone, and now she has to choose, and it’s not even really about her anymore, because Cole and Jay are so busy fighting over her that they’ve forgotten to even consider what she wants, until she finally gets fed up and decides to choose neither of them. And while she gets to make her own choice this time, she still spent the entire season getting pushed around by someone else’s idea of what’s right for her.

Next: Samurai X. Nya made her mech by hand, it’s the thing that first allows her to participate in the plot in season one, she continues to use it for the next four seasons, and she loves it! She doesn’t even want to be a ninja, she’s happy doing her own thing and getting to use her own unique skillset, separate from the others. When she’s told she’s the elemental master of water, there’s no compromise: she has to leave Samurai X behind and become a ninja, even though Samurai X is something she’s poured her passion into from the very beginning. She does leave it behind, but reluctantly, and it’s clear it’s something she still struggles with and misses doing seasons later.

Lastly, the one where destiny really gets involved: Jay’s vision on the ice. Jay’s been gone for Nya since the pilots, before he even met her (which is a while different can of worms honestly),and absolutely nothing, not her trying to create more space between them, not them fully breaking up, has changed that. So obviously he’s ecstatic when he sees that they will (because there’s no room for maybe when destiny’s involved) end up together, but for Nya? It’s just another choice about her life that she doesn’t get any say in.

Flash-forward to season six, Jay’s acting all weird because he thinks he has a chance with Nya again, meanwhile Nya’s acting all weird because she just got forced into an entirely new role on the team and now everyone’s calling her the girl ninja, and since this is the same season where the ninja are all wildly famous, she’s also got a whole mob of rabid fans asking her to pick, pick, why won’t you pick? Cole or Jay, Cole or Jay, just choose! No wonder she’s acting especially irritated with Jay, because she’s basically being forced into boxes on all sides, and then she finds out that, surprise! Jay’s convinced he has a chance with her again because turns out destiny literally told him, hey, you two are meant to be, so go for it, dude!

And maybe she really does like Jay, but how is she supposed to decide that when destiny itself is telling her the choice has already been made? If what she thinks doesn’t have any say on the outcome, does it even matter? Even when she finally tells Jay that she does think his glimpse into the future will happen eventually, she doesn’t say it’s because she likes him. She just says that she doesn’t doubt that it’ll happen.

I don’t really know where I’m going with this, but I think it’s something we should talk about more. Also, someone get this girl some autonomy, please. She deserves to make some choices for herself.
