It is a romance language, your tongue will grow used to it, just as it has grown used to the taste of blood.” “Am I not romantic enough for you already?” You asked, giving a deep resigned sigh as he pulled you onto his lap. “Do I have to learn multiple ways to say small in order to love you?” “Mon petit coeur,” He said, making sure not to pronounce the second t, making it masculine. You huffed as he did so with exaggeration, and rolled your eyes. “It would help.” “Mon petit coeur,” You repeated, making sure to say it in the exact way that he did, making him grin. “Petty is right.” He let out a laugh and then pressed his lips to yours, and you returned it, playfully biting on his bottom lip for all of the trouble that these language lessons were giving you - a small amount of revenge.

Oh, I just noticed that it looks like he actually says her name, so it's probably true, considering he had a meltdown and cried over Claudia 5-10 times in each of the following books, so there's even more of a chance that this is one of the moments 🥺😭

guys , idk if someone already pointed this out BUT , in this gif , it looks like lestat is crashing out about claudia. like , you can clearly read his lips and see him mouth "my clau-". right !? RIGHT ⁉️. yeah that’s the only thing I have to say , that was a short walk lmaoo. anyway, pls tell me you see it too 🙏🏾
