Are you named after anyone?

“The prophet Muhammad, though people don’t call me that.”

2. When was the last time you cried?

”I think when I came out to my parents, so junior year of high school. I don’t cry easy, but that was an emotional ordeal.”

3. Do you have kids?

”No, but I would like to. I dream that one day I will sew for my own family instead of the families of other people.”

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

”I don’t think I do. I try not to be rude.”

5. What's the first thing you notice about people?

”Their sense of fashion. You can tell a lot about others by the way they present themselves.”

6. What's your eye color?

”I would say brown, but color is so subjective and dependent on its surroundings that its difficult to tell. My mother says that my eyes look amber in the light.”

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

”Howie has introduced me to a lot of classic horror cinema in the time we have known each other, but I do admit, I will always prefer a sappy fairytale ending.”

8. Any special talents?

”I wouldn’t consider my fashion expertise as a special talent, more like a discipline, but I guess it counts.”

9. Where were you born?

”Denver. Ironically enough, I dislike the city. It’s loud.”

10. What are your hobbies?

”I enjoy gardening and drawing. Sometimes Siren and I make a day out of going into town to take a figure drawing class.”

11. Do you have any pets?

”Unless the zucchini in my garden counts, I’m afraid not. However, I have always wanted a goldfish.”

12. What sports do you play/have you played?

”I took fencing lessons in college, but I was never any good at it.”

13. How tall are you?

”Too tall for my own comfort. It’s difficult to move through the studio sometimes.”

14. Favorite subject in school?

”Science, especially biology. I loved learning about the food web. I have always found it cyclical nature to be beautiful.”

15. Dream job?

“I guess I’m working the dream job now, performing and designing in the valley, but one day, I hope to move to the coast and open up a independent storefront.”
