I already have expressed my love for canon era Les Mis artists, but I feel like I have to give an extra big props to Canon era artists who not only draw Paris but who do so in its pre-Haussman state!!!! Like YES Paris WAS a little bit in shambles and a little bit gross and muddy and unsanitary and it was very beautiful to me!!! And im glad people dont shy away from drawing the (by now far less recognisable) Paris the Amis would've actually lived in, even though it doesn't necessarily appeal to the modern eye.

I like the Les Mis musical, but not a fan of the movie. But Samantha was one of the best parts. Reprising her role as Eponine from the stage show.

Excuse the pun, but I’m going out with a bang.
The DVD feature is actually so good. Everyday I morn the fact we didn’t get a proper movie with this cast, if they would’ve keep all the boys lines that would’ve been great (I love les mis 2012 for getting me into it but you have to admit with all they took out the boys are basically set dressing.)

A lot of people talk about how Hugh Jackman being dehydrated for 36 hours during Les MIz is absolutely terrifying, but I haven't heard anyone talk about Samantha Barks binding her chest during One Day More and (from what I can tell) wearing it throughout the next few scenes. As someone who has tried binding with bandages before, it makes it almost impossible to breathe. It's considered extremely bad to wear for more than 10 minutes, as it can destroy breast tissue and cause horrible damage. And then there's Samantha Barks, who's supposed to SING while binding and throughout the rest of the scenes with the binder on. I really hope there wasn't any permanent damage done.

Why this deleted scene from Les Mis (2012) would not have fit well in the film:
I have some feelings about this little bit of the Les Mis 2012 commentary.
I feel like if anyone were to have killed the soldier who murdered Gavroche, it should and would have been Courfeyrac or Grantaire.
Marius is not the type of character to react in anger, and that's what's special about his character.
Marius is a character that is full of passion and strong emotion, but what makes him special is that he isn't vengeful or short-tempered. He's calm and compassionate in a way that sets him apart from other characters similar to him or his archetype.
Marius is the type to be less concerned with vengeance and more concerned with the grief of the loss of Gavroche. Revenge would certainly not be the first thing on his mind when faced with Gavroche's death, but shock and grief would be.
Courfeyrac or, more fittingly, Grantaire in this case, seem like they would be more concerned with vengeance than Marius. Courfeyrac less so because he would be so shaken with the loss of Gavroche. However, he was the most attached to Gavroche in the film, and more likely to act in anger than Marius would be. However, Grantaire would be a fitting choice for this action because firstly, Grantaire is attached to Gav in the book and the musical. Secondly, Grantaire would be the most likely to seek vengeance in any case. He's petty, vindictive, cynical, moody. He would seem, when looking at his character, that he would be the most likely to do this. (However, after looking through some of your comments, It's possible that Grantaire was asleep during this part of the battle. At least, in the book he certainly was)
Whilst I'm not sure if it should have been included at all, it is an interesting concept, and thanks for reading this post, I know it's long but I wanted to blab about my funny little guys and how they act.
thank you for coming to my ted talk

DEADPOOL SPOILERS!!!
.
.
.
This is the only place I know of to post this cause I don't do talking videos on tiktok, but I noticed an Easter egg in the new Deadpool movie and I have yet to see anyone else mention it??? Follow along👇🏼.
During the opening dance scene, deadpool is fighting (read: destroying) the TVA agents.
During this time, he kicks wolverines skull towards the camera, and we see it open-mouthed and flying by:
I noticed something in the mouth, and after searching for ages, I finally figured it out.
When you zoom in and look close, you can see a number written in what looks like the roof of the mouth.
I tried to figure out what it could be and after seeing the 2, what looks to be a 0 or 4, a 6, and a 0, I did some digging. I remembered in deadpool 2 when Deadpool is explaining the plan to break Russel out, he has a crayon drawn map. In the top left corner of the map is a little drawing of Wolverine with a prisoner number. At the time people realized what that number was.
"Prisoner number 24601" is the same number that Hugh Jackmans character Jean has in prison, in the movie Les Miserables.
And so by zooming in as far as my samsung will allow, I can see the outline of these same numbers. I admit it is a little bit of guess work but it's still an educated guess.
So yeah. Lots of work to figure out what the weird number is that I saw for a split second in the theater. If someone else pointed this out already and I missed it, let me know!
