*Her face lights up when you tell her. She’s absolutely enthralled at how you could love tickling so much.

*After you explain, she gives you a hug with some side squeezes. She reassured you you’re not weird or strange. You’re in fact incredibly cute and endearing. One would even say absolutely adorable. Cue you blushing and her laughing at how you react.

*Her and Keeley will tease you together. Definitely while you’re in between them on the couch while giving you playful pokes.

*They don’t tease you like that in public though unless you’re comfortable with it.

*She gives you cheer up tickles 💖

*You’ve poked her a couple of times and even managed a side squeeze, but that’s all you could do before she completely flips the tables.

*Her nails are a devious weapon of mass destruction and definitely wiggles her fingers at you if you’re distracted.

*Her and Keeley are both very cuddly with their friends and she’ll give you gentle tickles if you’re sleepy or need to relax after a hard day.

*Her and Ted have had conversations about you and how they can make sure you’re never uncomfortable. They don’t intend to talk about you behind your back, but they’re just looking out for you and find your little interest, well… interesting!

*If you have a blog, she’d ask to see if only if you’re comfortable with showing her. If not she completely understands. If yes, she will go on about the cute designs and amount of followers you have.

*She managed to find some posts about wanting certain types of tickles. She now has that info in the back of her mind for later.

Jamie Tart~

*Man has had so much character development and I love him so much now. 💖

*My guy literally just goes, “Wait… you too?!”

*You two then bond over how you both love tickling. Of course that means lots of tickle fights.

*I can see him still being super shy about wanting to have tickle fights with you even though he knows you feel the same way. My poor touch starved boy.

“Do you wanna, ya know…” *pokes you in the side*

*Keeley totally spills his ticklish spots to you. He loves hates that-

*Keeley loves how phrases like “tickled pink” and stuff gets to the both of you.

*Jamie and you have teamed up to get her back before. Let’s just say she got you both back tenfold.

*Jamie and you made signals for ler and lee moods, but you both would get too nervous to use them. Eventually you both learned each others signs for both.

*You can read each other really well. Not just with tickle moods, with emotions in general.

*Both of you have lots of trust and understanding in each other. A big part of it stemmed from revealing your love of tickling.

Coach Beard~

*Somehow already knew-

*He just knows. Don’t question it.

*He definitely sees the reason for you liking it. Even admitting him and his wife have tried certain things when it comes to tickling.

*He actually thinks it’s weirder for someone not to like it.

*Sneak attacks Ted with pokes all the time and invites you to play along. That doesn’t mean he won’t do the same to you though. Especially in front of the team.

*He is incredibly good at reading people. He always knows when you’re in a lee or ler mood.

*Even knows when you’re in a switch mood! He’s that good-

*Him and Ted have had conversations in front of you on how to get better reactions and which spots are the most ticklish.

*If you thought you couldn’t get anymore flustered my gosh-

*Somehow his pokes and tases are more ticklish than anyone else’s.

*Is more blunt with teases, but it always feels really sincere.

*Asks you for tickle fanfiction. I feel like he’d genuinely enjoy reading some of it.

*You’ve tried tickling him before. It didn’t last long.

*You can get maybe a poke in if he’s distracted, but he’s very good at not being snuck up on.

*He’s also so quick to turn it onto you.

*There was a time where Ted spilled to you a tickle spot of Beard’s and even helped you get revenge.

Trent Crimm~

*A big sweetheart. And so so supportive.

*He’s also really curious.

*Asking questions as if he were about to another book about your love for it.

*Admits that he had a soft spot for it himself.

*Is actually really sensitive and it’s so adorable-

*He doesn’t retaliate all that much when you poke him or squeeze his side.

*He’s more of a lee than a ler.

*That doesn’t mean he won’t take the opportunity to scribble at your neck or squeeze your knee.

*He likes to give you head scratches and give you little sneaky ear and neck tickles.

*Comments on how easy you blush as if he doesn’t blush just as easily when you tease him.

*Always makes sure you’re okay with being full on tickled before he gets you.

*Surprisingly very skilled tickler.

*His fingers know just how to wiggle their way into your ribs.

*Speaking of which, he’s a sucker for counting your ribs out loud to you. And of course he “messes up” along the way and has to start over.

*Is more gentle with his tickles, which tickles a lot more in his opinion because of the anticipation of it all.

*Which also means he’s more susceptible to gentle and light tickles.

*They make him all scrunchy and tingly and it’s so cute. If you call him cute be ready for him to cover his face with one hand.

PPS My favorite character in the series is Emily/Final Girl, and I loved how she got absolutely wrecked by Uzi, and then how you kept her in the part where Uzi tickled Lizzy, with Emily just watching sitting criss-cross applesauce.

This was my best to get them all included, I wasn't sure how to do a tickle fight....

What do you *actually* think will happen in 17?

sorry to take so long with this. I had a rough weekend and needed time to think this through so here is a list of things that "might" happen in s17. Be warned for some passive aggressiveness

the obvious:

More of Garcia being a stubborn bitch: I doubt the show will make her realize how shitty the character was in s16 and continue to derail her character somehow

Garcia being easily forgiven for her hookup with T*ler G*een cause god forbid anyone can be "rightfully" upset at the beloved Penelope Garcia

Tyler Green getting a shit ton of screentime, since he's now a series regular and him being irrelevant in s17

Luke being a glorified extra once again and only getting scraps about his life cause god forbid he and Tara take away any screentime from the beloved white men

More unnecessary screentime of Rossi in pain and suffering

Reid being mentioned a 1000000 times while Matt is forgotten (they haven't mentioned Matt after 16x02)

The gold star storyline being underwhelming

Luke and Tara still being out of focus

Evolution!Garcia being much ruder to Luke, even with their last scene in 16x10, the show will find ways for her to revery back to bullying Luke cause god forbid they let them be happy and less toxic together

Rossi's trauma after being trapped in a container being ignored after 17x01. I mean cm has an obvious track record of ignoring their character's traumas so why stop there

the rest of the characters having ooc moments besides Garcia

Will being mentioned several times by JJ, since Josh isn't coming back to s17

Garcia still having no remorse over her actions in s16 and they get brushed off with no consequences

Another cliffhanger in 17x10

Tyler Green still not dying and disappearing in 17x10

Elias possibly dying or disappearing before Tyler Green in 17x10

Emily missing out on fun team bonding moments cause of "work", based on the bts photo with everyone

JJ having slightly less screentime than s16 due to Will not appearing in s17, and the writers not knowing what to do with JJ that doesn't revolve around her and her husband and sons

Emily's "storyline" revolving around Bailey. Just cause he's dead, doesn't mean that the show isn't gonna stop having the women's storylines focus on anything else but the men around them. I do understand why Emily would be the most affected by his death despite their differences as the two were close but I don't want Bailey's death to take up all of Emily's storyline in s17, idk if that makes sense, like I don't want it to be the only thing s17 has for Emily. All we know that Emily goes through some "serious shit" which could mean anything

more random Tara and Rebecca drama, assuming if Nicole comes back

The garvez/greencia love triangle taking up more screentime than necessary, especially with Tyler Green being a "main" character

Elias Voit becoming Cat Adams 2.0, ruining an interesting villain by having him overstay his welcome longer than needed, not helped that Zach is also promoted to series regular, a first time they did that with an unsub and I don't understand why, despite interviews stating Elias' role in s17 being a hannibal lecter type role

Elias finding out about Garcia and Tyler Green's relationship and using it as leverage and preventing the BAU from prosecuting him for his crimes, which is why the

Garcia defending Tyler Green, moreso in front of Luke whenever he has any valid criticisms of him

Luke and Tyler having a verbal argument of some sort and it leads to a "fallout" between Luke and Garcia

The characters wearing more browns and grays

50/50 of fans and viewers being disappointed and let down

Person behind the door at the cliffhanger being anyone but Reid

Elias only interacting with Rossi

Bailey having more screentime than Luke and Tara despite him being dead and only in flashbacks or hallucinations

Garcia being conflicted about getting back together with Tyler

Garcia bragging about her therapy sessions once again

JJ's storyline revolving around her sons and some unnecessary drama to the boys, especially Henry. Him either getting bullied or anxious for whatever reason, not to mention his concern for his parent's safety and it gets brushed off after an episode or two

Tara and Rebecca possibly reconciling before breaking up, again

Ok, fine. I wasn't in the mood to write a whole fic so here are some headcannons I spent an embarrassing amount of time on lol. Let me know what you think/if you have any headcannons I didn't include

Spoilers for the show Ted Lasso. Not too many I don't think but enough for me to put a warning. Sorry for the formatting I couldn't figure out how to do bullet points on only part of the post.

Jamie Tartt

Such a fucking lee it's not even funny

My touch-starved baby

Always after attention, no matter what kind

Dr. Sharon helps him unpack this and channel his need for attention into more positive behaviors like making people laugh, doing small kind things for others, etc

The team accepts Jamie back as a teammate after the Dubai Air protest. But they start actually liking him as a friend once they figure out how ticklish he is. 

In the later seasons, winds Roy up on purpose cause he knows it will end with him howling on the floor with Roy spidering over his ribs mercilessly

Whenever Jamie’s being a prick without getting the signal first, someone on the team will trap him in a bear hug and claw at his tummy

It’s really hard to be mad at Jamie when he’s being held up by a teammate, cackling after his legs gave out after a few pokes

The only one brave enough to poke the bear that is Roy Kent (other than Keeley)

It never ends well for him

Or does it?

Worst spots are ribs and hips

Light bicep tickles als get him really bad, but really only Keeley knows this

Roy Kent

Holy shit

Do NOT piss this man off, he will wreck you

Early in their relationship he would try and tickle Keeley. That stopped pretty quick when he realized Keeley dished it out ten times worse

The only people who know how ticklish he is are Keeley, Jamie, Phoebe, Phoebe’s mom (does she have a name in cannon? Idk) and, oddly, Coach Beard

And he has threatened all of them in order to make sure it stays that way

Roy has no idea how Beard knows and that scares the shit out of him

Beard says that Roy just looks ticklish. Really he was in the office late one night when Keeley came to pick Roy up and saw him jump a foot in the air when she dug a finger into his armpit

Knows that Jamie sometimes riles him up. He lets him because somewhere he knows that Jamie needs this. Also it is quite satisfying. Even better than taking a swing at him to be honest.

Worst spots are under his arms, his neck, and light tickles behind his knees on good days

Keeley Jones

Queen of the lers

Her nails should be classified as weapons

Roy and Jamie both know this

They also know the other one probably knows this. They never talk about it.

She’s the one who let Jamie’s ticklishness slip to Roy

Will let Roy or Jamie get a few pokes in but quickly turns the tables

Rebecca is the only one who knows about the spot being her ears

Colin Hughes

Will absolutely shout, “For Wales!” before pouncing on someone, regardless of whether or not the preceding conversation had anything to do with Wales

His shoulder blades are a death spot

Anything lighter than a firm pat on the back will make his shoulders shoot up to his ears

One of the only people who is allowed to tickle Isaac with few to no repercussions

Generally prefers being the ler, he got enough experience being a lee when he was growing up

Dani Rojas

Sunshine golden retriever man

Loves making people laugh

Will coo at his teammates in Spanish while he tickles them

That’s actually how they find out that Jamie’s been trying to learn Spanish for Dani to make him less homesick. Dani teases him lightly while spidering over his sides, and Jamie BLUSHES hard cause he can actually understand ¾ of what Dani’s saying. Dani tickles him more often after that as a thank you

Very persuasive - will easily convince people that a certain player needs to be tickled

That makes him dangerous

Excellent reader of people - was the first person to realize that Jamie likes being tickled

After he becomes captain, is more reserved and conscious that the other guys look up to him

If he ever gets too in his head, Colin is more than happy to bring him back to earth

Lee!Ted

Because of Ted's people-pleasing mentality, we all know he wants everyone around him as happy as possible at all times.

That means he can totally ler it up, but because I am so deeply in love with Jason Sudeikis and Ted Lasso equally.... I can't not let my cute man be on the receiving end of some tickles.

I can see Ted being all 'awwwhawhaw! you got me!' after he's jogged around with someone chasing him, letting them get close enough to actually get him, obv.

Ted isn't quite sure how to handle getting tickled for real, honestly.

He's been jostled and huddled and hugged so much in his life, what with his duties as a coach and having a close team around him at all times. And it always makes him smile and chuckle.

But getting tickled definitely takes some getting used to for him. And like anything new for Ted (minus the start of therapy, I suppose), he welcomes the experience with open arms and a willingness to try it out.

He's really jumpy at the start of it, when someone would give him pokes/jabs/quick wiggling fingers somewhere sensitive. But it always illicits a giggle.

I imagine Ted being really open to letting Rebecca try this out on him, what with the amazing close friendship they've developed.

And she's so teasy and so delicate with him that it drives him NUTS.

Literally Ted can melt into a puddle of whines and wheezes and giggles with ler!Rebecca coming after him.

He's a big safe word guy, even if it's literally 30 seconds of casual, playful tickling. Similar to the 'Oklahoma' safe word used in the show, I'm sure this one would be another state or perhaps a town in England to even up the playing field. Or honestly something utterly silly like a player's name (Bumbercatch! Tartt!).

Rebecca cracks up when her and Ted have gotten to the point where he'll just start yelling random words through his laughter to get her to ease up. And she always does. He chooses a new word every time a tickle attack happens and just repeats it over and over again. Rebecca knows all of Ted's signs by now so she knows when not to overstep.

Ted slowly finds some comfort in getting tickled. It sends shivers up his spine when he gets the itch for it, or when he knows it's heading his way.

Ted definitely has an easier time falling into the ler role.

He loves when he sees tickling used as a form of bonding between the players. It doesn't fluster him unless the tickling's aimed his way (sorry sorry I'll stop with lee!ted 😉).

He's playful and loving as all hell with his son so of course he's thrown tickles in there when Henry was younger.

Getting out of the in-character canonness of the show, and moving to the general xoc or xreader side of tickling, I have a few thoughts...

If Ted finds out you're ticklish, it'll be like you'd given him his Christmas gift early.

But he'll take things slow, again, not having tickling being a recurring part of his own personal life.

His first step would be to get more cuddly with you, more than he's ever been before. Like a warm up to prepare for what's coming.

He'll pepper in ticklish kisses in sensitive spots like the neck, collarbones, the inside of the wrist/palm of hand, on/behind the ear.

And from there depending on the mood he finds himself in, he'd either deliver the most loving ticklish gestures and kisses OR he'd be evil-ler-dad-mode and attack with tickles.

You bet your ass Ted uses his bristly mustache to his advantage and your demise. That poor belly...

Like Rebecca does with him, Ted absolutely respects any boundaries when it comes to tickling.

But he'll be a teaser while it's happening, of course. Saying his typical funny, naive, simple Ted things. I am clearly not up to par with the Ted Lasso writing staff, so I cannot come up with much of anything good he'd be saying. But you get the idea.

"Ooohwee I didn't know this was such a good spot!" "You've been holding out on me." "Geez! With all that kicking you're doing, I could put you to good use at Richmond!" "Who knew tickling someone could be so damn fun?"

Fui hoje à tarde à LX Factory ver a apresentação extra da Rebecca F. Kuang numa livraria - mais sobre isso daqui a dias -, e voltei de lá não com um livro mas com um disco: este Alligator dos The National. A Ler Devagar costuma ter livros muito interessantes (teria lá comprado dois ou três de bom grado), mas é possível que o segredo mais bem guardado daquele espaço seja mesmo a Jazz Messengers no primeiro piso: têm lá uma belíssima selecção de discos, de jazz e não só (como se nota).

MINHA JORNADA NA ESCRITA (JÁ FAZ 5 ANOS!) ✨

Era março de 2017, levantei da cama em uma noite qualquer e decidi que iria escrever um livro. Fazia quase dois anos desde o falecimento da minha mãe, e eu lidava com os primeiros sinais de depressão e estava buscando uma forma de "lutar" contra eles, de não enlouquecer. Inspirada pela protagonista de um dos livros que li na adolescência, quis tentar fazer algo artístico para lidar com os sentimentos. Primeiro, tentei aprender a pintar, mas não tinha recursos para comprar material, como gostava muito de ler e assistir séries de advogados, resolvi escrever uma história de romance com um casal de advogados e postar no Wattpad.

Escolhi os nomes dos personagens em homenagem a outros personagens, atrizes e atores que eu amava! Dorian (Como Dorian Havilliard, de Trono de Vidro), Rebecca (Como a Rebecca Mader) e outros. Logicamente, o protagonismo era de pessoas brancas e tinha um único personagem negro (como quase tudo que eu consumia na época), era ambientado em Nova York, séries como How To Get Away with Murder, Drop Dead Diva e Suits eram o combustível da minha imaginação e de onde saíram todas as minhas referências de ambientação, “conhecimento” (vamos chamar assim) em leis, tribunal e toda a parte jurídica. As minhas referências literárias eram os livros de romance contemporâneo independentes da Amazon, como as histórias da Juliana Dantas, que eu amava acompanhar, assim como os livros da Colleen Hoover e Brittany Cherry.

Não preciso nem dizer que NÃO FAZIA A MENOR IDEIA DO QUE ESTAVA FAZENDO! Não sabia desenvolver personagens, nem que precisava fazer pesquisas, ou definir o tempo verbal, ou fazer mais pesquisas, não sabia organizar os acontecimentos, ou sequer alinhar para que  as coisas fizessem sentido, isso sem falar que eu achava que o livro precisava sair perfeito de primeira, pois não conhecia os processos de pós-escrita como edição, preparação e revisão. Sentia como se estivesse falhando toda vez que relia e encontrava erros gramaticais ou furos na história. 

“C4” (como o meu primeiro livro foi carinhosamente apelidado) não funcionava. Eu não sabia escrever personagens adultos, nem uma história que se passasse em outro país, sempre encontrava vários defeitos no enredo, principalmente quando começava a comparar com os romances que estavam na Amazon. Foi aí que, em dezembro de 2017, retirei ele do Wattpad e comecei a reescrever no papel. Ah! Detalhe: eu não tinha computador, então escrevia no meu celular antigo e em bloquinhos de papel! Dei uma pausa na reescrita da história porque não estava fluindo, foi quando ao ouvir a música "Shape of you" do Ed Sheeran pela primeira vez, tive a ideia para um conto, que escrevi em quatro dias durante as férias. E em janeiro de 2018, publiquei um capítulo por dia no Wattpad. Eu mesma fiz capa, aesthetics de personagens e divulgava no meu Instagram literário e em perfis de possíveis leitores no Wattpad, também inscrevi a história em concursos na própria plataforma.

Fui desencorajada por alguns colegas próximos, que gostavam de reafirmar como outras escritoras terminavam livros mais rápido do que eu, como tinham mais leitores e tinham conquistado as coisas mais rápido. Isso me frustrava bastante, porque por mais que eu tentasse escrever todos os dias, conciliar escrita com outras coisas como fazer a capa, divulgar, cuidar da casa, escola e ajudar o meu pai no trabalho, nunca alcançava o ritmo que desejava. Isso fazia com que, constantemente, eu retirasse e recolocasse a história na plataforma. 

Cheguei a postar na rede laranja muitos títulos que nunca foram sequer desenvolvidos ou que passassem de três capítulos escritos! Tais como:

“Não brinque com fogo”, 

“Vítreo - Prestes a despedaçar”, 

“Doses de amor e maços de cigarro”, 

“Eu, você e as questões sobre o Universo” (minha primeira história com protagonista negra), 

“Treta!” (que planejei em colaboração com a Clara Caraciolo, que era uma das minhas escritoras favoritas)

Nessa minha primeira fase no Wattpad, entre 2017 e 2018, tinha muito medo de que pessoas próximas descobrissem o que eu escrevia, então primeiro assinei como “R. Lima” e depois como “R.S. Carter” 

No segundo semestre de 2018, tinha desistido totalmente da ideia de ser escritora. Eu não achava que tinha talento, a Renata de quinze anos não entendia como as coisas funcionavam. Ela queria ser uma escritora profissional, queria ter muitos leitores, ver as pessoas acompanhando e comentando as histórias dela, fazer capas bonitas, ter livros físicos, mas não entendia todo o processo que era necessário para chegar a isso. Começou a sonhar com editoras como a Corvus, Se Liga, Seguinte e PS: Dois Pontos, mas parecia que ia ficar só no sonho mesmo.

Os meses sucederam-se, as ideias continuavam aparecendo, mas eu já não as escrevia. Apenas gostava de passar o meu tempo imaginando os personagens, as histórias, as capas e tudo o que poderia ter sido. Até que, em agosto de 2019, passei por uma situação de assédio no transporte público e o assediador era o crush de uma ex-amiga minha, mas ela não deu a mínima. Foi desse evento que surgiu “Não Conte Aos Garotos”,uma história que falava sobre assédio, relacionamento abusivo, amizade tóxica, estupro, e que foi o incidente incitante que me fez decidir trabalhar como escritora. Primeiro de tudo, Não Conte Aos Garotos atingiu 50 mil leituras no Wattpad antes mesmo de eu terminar de escrever, foi finalista do Prêmio Ecos da Literatura 2019, e graças a ele eu conheci pessoas incríveis como a Laura Machado e a Bruna Ceotto que se tornaram minhas grandes amigas! 

Aos dezesseis anos, na mesma época em que estava escrevendo Não Conte Aos Garotos e publicando no Wattpad, resolvi tentar mais uma vez reescrever Como Conquistar o Coração de um Canalha. Eu estava trabalhando, era bolsista monitora de Língua Portuguesa e fiz os primeiros investimentos financeiros nos meus livros. Após C4 chegar a 10 mil leituras no Wattpad, travei mais uma vez no desenvolvimento da história e resolvi engavetar de vez. Mas escrever Não Conte Aos Garotos com o passar dos meses foi se tornando maçante, sem falar que era difícil demais por causa dos temas que abordava. Então, comecei a escrever a minha primeira fanfic "A Court of Light and Shadows" protagonizada por uma personagem minha no universo de Corte de Espinhos e Rosas, da Sarah J. Maas. 

O que eu mais amava em publicar no Wattpad (e ACOLAS também no Spirit) era ler os comentários, receber mensagens na DM, receber e-mails... Sentia que as minhas histórias importavam, divertiam, tinham potencial e que talvez eu pudesse ser uma contadora de histórias. Eu também era ambiciosa, pois desde o começo imaginei Não Conte Aos Garotos saindo do Wattpad, indo para Amazon, para uma editora grande e virando websérie. Queria alcançar muitas e muitas pessoas! 

Sete meses após começar a escrever, coloquei a palavra "Fim" na história  já com um contrato de publicação tradicional fechado com a editora The Books, que entrou em contato comigo após o resultado do prêmio Ecos da Literatura, no meio da pandemia de COVID-19. 47 mil palavras escritas pelo celular, e com muito orgulho! Eu nem conseguia acreditar. 

Uma pena que nem tudo são flores. 

A publicação nunca aconteceu, e em fevereiro de 2021 eu rescindi o meu contrato. Primeiro, assim que enviei o arquivo do livro para a editora, percebi que precisava me preparar emocionalmente para ser publicada. Agora, não precisava convencer as pessoas a lerem o meu trabalho, mas sim a comprarem ele. Segundo, sabia que ainda era muito jovem e estava começando, tinha muitas inseguranças e me pegava pensando em como poderia lidar com as críticas destrutivas. Fiz curso on-line de marketing digital no IFRS para aprender maneiras de vender o meu livro, coloquei "Colisão Estelar" e “Bebi? Liguei!” no Wattpad, enquanto ainda escrevia e postava a fanfic de Corte de Espinhos e Rosas. 

Depois de um mês, a editora me mandou o arquivo do livro de volta. Ele havia sido revisado gramaticalmente, corrigindo pontuação, crase e concordância, mas as críticas à estrutura e desenvolvimento da história não vieram e isso me preocupava. Decidi entrar em contato com a pessoa responsável pela publicação e compartilhar com ela algumas inseguranças, como o fato de que a história se passava no Brasil, mas as personagens principais tinham nomes ingleses, se não seria possível fazer uma leitura sensível dos temas abordados e das minorias que apareciam e estavam fora da minha vivência, e a pessoa responsável (que sequer tinha lido meu livro), me disse que não precisava mudar os nomes das personagens e que seguiríamos da maneira que estava. Me sentia muito anti profissional enquanto, sentada na cama, com o arquivo do livro aberto no celular, aceitava as sugestões de revisão. Depois daquele mês, quanto mais eu relia, mais coisas que precisavam de alteração, eu encontrava. Decidi que iria reescrever, e avisei isso ao pessoal da editora.

O problema é que não sabia como reescrever. Porque não sabia como melhorar o que precisava de melhoria, eu precisava de TEMPO, e a editora estava sempre questionando o porquê da demora, me dizendo que o livro estava perfeito, mas eu não conseguia sentir orgulho dele. Tudo isso me fez entrar numa crise! Será que, na verdade, só estava me sabotando? Para o pessoal acreditar que eu estava movimentando as coisas, enquanto nem sequer sabia o que fazer com o texto, entrei em contato com a Larissa Chagas, que é simplesmente uma das minhas capistas favoritas do mundo todo e pedi que ela fizesse a capa da versão física de NCAG. 

Depois de três meses enrolando, conversei com a Laura Machado sobre achar que o meu livro precisava de uma leitura crítica. Eu amava as resenhas dela e achava que ela poderia me iluminar sobre como transformar a história. Estávamos fechadas! Ela iria editar o livro, mas o tempo estava apertado e vi que o melhor que poderia fazer era abandonar o contrato e seguir por conta própria. No mesmo mês, retirei todos os meus livros do Wattpad e quis parar para pensar, reformular, aprender e aperfeiçoar. Mas era muito mais difícil do que eu pensava! Investir na publicação do livro também demandava muito mais dinheiro do que eu ganhava. Passei meses completamente perdida, querendo desistir de tudo, começando histórias novas que nunca passavam de dois ou três capítulos, abandonando brainstormings pela metade, entrei numa pira onde sentia que precisava agradar absolutamente todos os leitores e os livros nunca pareciam ficar perfeitos ao ponto de fazer isso. Para piorar, me torturava vendo que o que eu escrevia não era exatamente o que as editoras e agência dos meus sonhos estavam publicando. 

Estava na hora de admitir que nunca realizaria o sonho de ser uma contadora de histórias, os meus livros não seriam lidos, não despertariam interesse em editoras e nem seriam adaptados. Se por um lado eu pensava assim, por outro tinham pessoas acreditando em mim, como a Bruna Ceotto, que sempre faz tudo o que está ao alcance dela para que eu não desista das minhas histórias. Ou como a Júlia Braga, que gosta de reafirmar que eu ainda vou conquistar o coração de muitos leitores. Como a Bettina Winkler e a Bibiana Pivato, que aguentam mensagens e áudios intermináveis sobre as minhas ideias.

Em 2022, tive a certeza de que não quero fazer nenhuma outra coisa senão escrever. Nunca vou desistir de contar histórias através de livros. Mesmo que hoje eu encare apenas como um hobbie, e não como uma possível profissão.

Um dia na infância da minha protagonista desafio #108

Eu tinha treze anos quando percebi que era diferente da minha família, meus pais sempre tiveram grandes olhos azuis, o cabelo muito loiro e eram baixinhos, minha irmã mais velha era alta como eu, mas nossas semelhanças acabavam na altura, ela era igual à eles, enquanto eu tinha cabelos longos escuros, os comuns olhos castanhos, um e setenta de altura. Eles eram extrovertidos e eu bem mais tímida, minhas notas na escola eram boas até demais, amava ler livros e dançar, pra eles uma tv ligada bastava como entretenimento. 

  Um dia, eu precisava fazer uma árvore genealógica com fotos para aula de biologia, pedi para minha mãe uma imagem dela grávida de mim. 

— Eu… Eu não tenho, filha – Minha mãe respondeu, com as bochechas ruborizadas, olhando fixamente para a mesa de madeira à nossa frente, como se quisesse fugir dali. 

— Por que não? – Sussurrei, colocando o cabelo por trás da orelha. Já tinha visto fotos reveladas dela grávida de Rebecca, minha irmã mais velha, tudo bem que revelar fotos era caro, mas porque não havia fotos de sua gestação mais recente? 

  Não fazia sentido. 

— É… Seu pai, ele perdeu os filmes da nossa antiga câmera e lá se foram nossas fotografias, filha. Quer um bolinho de cenoura? Acabei de tirar do forno. 

  Engoli aquela desculpa porque eu adorava o bolo de cenoura com calda de chocolate da minha mãe e também era muito provável meu pai perder ou esquecer de algo. Fiquei me sentindo esquisita e cheia de dúvidas por alguns dias até que esqueci completamente o assunto. 

 Até meu aniversário de quinze anos, implorei para os meus pais me deixarem eu viajar para a Bahia com a minha amiga, Paula, não tínhamos dinheiro para festas e o que conseguisse juntar  trabalhando em um mercado perto de casa, daria para virar por alguns dias na viagem. 

  Tinha acabado de começar a arrumar a mochila, quando minha mãe entrou no quarto: 

— Não suporto mais esconder isso de você, minha filha – Sentou do meu lado e segurou minha mão — Há quinze anos, uma moça se mudou para a casa da frente, ela estava grávida, ela tinha uns vinte anos, ficamos amigas, passávamos todas as tardes aqui em casa. E mais pro final da gestação, ela desapareceu. 

— Por que a senhora tá me contando isso agora? – Meu coração parecia querer saltar pela boca, minhas mãos ficaram trêmulas e quase prenderam meus dedos no zíper da bolsa. 

— Porque algumas semanas depois, um bebê foi deixado na nossa porta com bilhete de " por favor,cuide de mim " – Os olhos dela se encheram de lágrimas. 

 Eu fico paralisada, meus olhos se enchem de lágrimas, que escorrem incessantes pelas bochechas, porque antes que ela dissesse: 

— E esse bebê era você. 

 Eu já sabia.

Coloquei o prato de massa na frente da Rebecca e a acordei. - Hey, bom dia - Nate! Meu Deus... - ela colocou a mão na cabeça - Minha cabeça tá girando. - Come um pouco e bebe a água que te dei. - Ai... - O cabelo dela estava úmido e bagunçado, e por conta do frio as bochechas e lábios estavam vermelhos, ela estava linda - Uau, você fez isso em 5 min ? - Tem 30 min que você está dormindo. - Sério, parece que foram 10 seg... embora eu esteja faminta - ela pegou o garfo e enrolou o macarrão e comeu - Hm, isso aqui tá bom demais! - Você está bêbada e com fome! - Peguei um garfo e comi do mesmo prato. - Hey! - Qual é! Eu que fiz - Tudo bem... - Ela me observou - Que foi ? - Obrigada, Nate! Você poderia estar curtindo sua sexta e ao invés disso ficou preto com uma bêbada melancólica. - E fedida! - Para - Ela sorriu. - Você está bem ? - Não. - Se eu perguntar, você vai chorar ? - Sim. - Ok mas se quer saber uma coisa, te deixar ir... foi provavelmente o maior erro que esse cara cometeu, não importa o motivo. - Como você sabe ? - Eu sou bom em ler as pessoas - Ela deu um gole na água de coco - E sua amiga Alisson me disse no telefone - Ela riu. - Droga! Maldita Alisson - Mas, é sério. - Obrigada Nathaniel! - Ela arrumou um fio de cabelo que estava no meu olho. - Eu te julguei mal a primeira vez que nos conhecemos. - Talvez seja o momento de te provar como estava errada. - É, talvez seja.... *FIM DO FLASHBACK*
